Murrayglossus – The Prehistoric Echidna
Abaddon23 replied to Cruzoor69's Suggestion in Creature Submissions
He exist in western australia in the Pleistocene. A mamal like a Maewing with the eggs I am not really kreativ for create a nice submission but this animal is very interesting i have a few ideas, he can farm very good clay, chitin and cactus sap. he can move like the basilisk under the earth and is resisant vs the heat wave ore the sand storm. he lays eggs. Near Murrayglossus or as a rider you have insect repellent like the insect repellent and when the echidna eats insects it gets the megatherium insect buff. Likewise, if you eat the eggs, they could work like the insect repellent. Murrayglossus is ridden with a fully armored metal saddle, such as a medieval horse armor. The animal is passively tamed with honey or insects and arachnids (dead mantis, lymantria, scorpions or ants, etc.). Murrayglossus is immune to Poison, Stun, and Species X plants. You can't grab it with flying beasts and the player can't be ripped off with flying beasts either. It takes less damage from insects and arachnids and is also good at farming sap and silk. Of course, as a defense, it could also wag dust with its claws that confuses enemies so it can flee or burrow better. And now to you, you find this creature interesting and would like to contribute to what will become of this anima, then feel free and write your ideas under this post for a good make together creature Pictures from the existing version:- 4 replies

Aegisuchus, the Pachycephalosaurus of the Dunes
BetterCallBalls posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Dossier Species: Aegisuchus Witmeri Time: Cenomanuan Diet: Carnivorous Temperament: Extremely Territorial Wild: Aegisuchus is a predator that lives in the few lakes and oasises of Scorched Earth. Its head is made of a nearly impenetrable substance that only the strongest of attacks can get through. And most of its body is also covered into Armor, but it is not as hard as the armor on its head. They battle by using their heads to ram into other creatures, shattering their bones like a bite from a Tyrannosaurus. Domesticated: Domestication of Aegisuchus is incredibly difficult, dangerous and tedious due to its highly territorial nature and other creatures that live near it like Kaprosuchus and the like. Known Information: Aegisuchus is a predator that resides within the lakes and oasis in Scorched Earth. It is an ambush predator, waiting at the bottom of water bodies until prey comes close, snatching them within a second and eating them in a short amount of time. It doesn't attack anything that doesn't invade it's territory or perceive as a threat Description: The Aegisuchus is a very large sized Crocodilyform that lives near and in the few water bodies of Scorched Earth. It can swim swiftly in water. It is very bulky, but also very slow on land. The armor on its head can deflect every projectile (except Dilo Venom, Rockets, Fabricated Sniper Rifle, Plant Species Y, Tek Saddle Projectiles, Astrodelphus Starwing Saddle Projectiles) and is practically immune to damage (95% damage reduction, Gigas, T. Rexes, Basilisk, Arthropleura, Carcharodontosaurus, Wyverns, Dodorex, Enforcer, Fenrir, Megalodon, Griffin, Magmasaur, Managarmr, Mosasaurus, Phoenix, Reaper, Rock Drake, Tek Stryder, Explosives, Tek Saddle Projectiles, Astrodelphus Starwing Saddle Projectiles, Alphas and Boss Creatures, all of which Aegisuchus has a 40% damage reduction to). Its Armor is also quite tough (50% damage reduction, 35% to the creatures mentioned above) Taming Method: The Aegisuchus has a has a taming method slightly similar to the Megachelon. You need to repeatedly damage it's underside using low-damage weapons until the taming bar is full. If it is hit or you stop damaging it, then the taming bar will quickly deplete. Saddle: Its saddle would be unlocked somewhere between level 40-50. The saddle would act as a mortar and pestle Special abilities: 20% Weight reduction for desert materials and minerals Left-click for bite: Basic bite Right-click for headbutt: Deals heavy damage and can stun creatures smaller than a Therizino https://pt.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aegisuchus-

Species: Saltasaurus macronarius Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Docile... Too Docile Wild The Saltasaurus can be identified from most other sauropods by their unusual dermal protrusions on the back of the animal. Upon closer inspection, these protrusions appear to be made out of a similar substance to preserving salt. These animals have no quarrels with wild predators as they don't have reason to eat a living salt rock, especially in a desert where keeping hydrated is so difficult. However, what is difficult for most is easy for Saltasaurus and the animal has adapted the environment's salt into armor instead of allowing it to dehydrate the animal. That being said, without natural predators they have no reason to expect attack and do not really know how to defend themselves well. Domesticated Saltasaurs absolutely love salt licks, so it is unsurprising to learn that salt is their preferred food choice in taming. Upon being tamed the Saltasaurus is typically used as food storage by human tribes which are first developing and can even rival the refrigerator in terms of keeping consumables from spoiling so quick. They also act as a decent "safe mount" to explore the wastelands without worry of being attacked by predators. Even in tribe-mounted attacks Saltasaurus can come in handy. If it were to be attacked by an enemy tribe's carnivore, they would suffer the effects of dehydration. Another usual use for Saltasaurus discovered by a tribe of scientists is that the armor can be used as a sort of smelling salt when broken. Go figure. Description Saltasaurus appears like the image given below with the armor being made of salt, the mouth being more of a beak, and the neck having a more upward tilt to it (no base-game sauropods have that posture, so I figured why not). Of course as the title states the preservation in its inventory would work to preserve food, essentially just short of the preservation time of a fridge. It's very small for a sauropod with decent health, but not on the level of Bronto, so it has a small damage reduction also. It has a neck swing and a tail attack, but they deal relatively low damage and the animal doesn't use these attacks in the wild. Wild carnivores simply do not aggro to Saltasaurus even when attacked, but will either ignore it or retreat if attacked by Saltasaurus. If Saltasaurus is attacked by a carnivore, that carnivore will get a "dehydrated" debuff where it cannot regen stamina temporarily making it dangerous for a carnivore to continue attacking and gaining torpor when out of stamina. Vice-versa, upon being attacked (By an enemy, cannot be activated by your own tribe. Wild herbivores could be utilized to activate this effect) Saltasaurus has a buff applied to it where it acts as a living smelling salt and instantly wakes up any allied creatures near it that have gone to sleep thanks to torpor. Of course all of this is subject to change, the developers can put their own spin on the salt theme I would just be happy to have this guy in game.

Deinocheirus "Terrible Claw" aka the Scorched Earth God
Sasquatch69 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Update: I have recently learned that the person behind the Ark Additions mod is close to finishing a Deinocheirus for his mod and it will be releasing soon, for his benefit dont upvote. I guess us console players gotta wait until august then Description and Abilities: In my opinion ark deserves a more powerful multi purpose creature, so let me introduce the Deinocheirus. The grand idea for Deinocheirus is more of a mid to late game tame for scorched earth that could be a beneficial due to the maps harsh climate and hostile creatures. This creature's most crucial feature will be its thick fur/feathering, which will provide the rider with an insulation buff as well as providing a natural damage resistance to the creature (nothing to broken probably 20-25%) but will provide heavy resistance towards wyvern breath attacks. If it come into contact with water it will produce a hydration buff that greatly reduces the need to drink. Another feature would be 3 separate attacks that provide 3 different purposes: 1. Bite: a pretty standard attack that can harvest berries/fibre from bushes, thatch from trees and hide from bodies. 2. Claw swipe: a more brutal attack that can cause bleed (even to bosses) as well as having wood and meat harvesting capabilities. 3. Body slam: An extremely powerful attack with a cool down that Involves a jump and a wwe style move that deals massive damage, stun, aswell as dismounting. Its two final abilities will be a weight reduction for harvested items and the longer it runs the more speed it picks up. For the size I believe being slightly bigger than the Allosaurus should be a fair bet. Behaviour and Taming: The behaviour for a wild Deinocheirus should be similar to that of the dire bear, passive for a few moments than extremely aggressive with the intention of killing. The Taming for this creature should be passive and requires a certain animation to interact. The general idea is it will wonder for a while and proceed to sit it will open its mouth and start panting, once this happens you walk up to it and feed it water to hydrate it, the colder the water the greater the effectiveness. Location: The location of this creature will be around or near the green obelisk since its a nice beautiful area, with the added bonus of an alpha variant that spawns out in the dunes of the desert. With that all said and done, Good luck to all the creature submissions.- 12 replies

WILD The Albertosaurus can often be found surrounded by a pack of troodons these two have a symbiotic relationship with the Albertosaurus fighting off larger predators and the troodons defending the Albert while it sleeps at night. ABILITIES The Albertosaurus can compress and expand its spinal chord ranging from the size of a bary to the size of an allo in its small form the Albertosaurus can jump long distances sprint at high speeds and has a stealth that reduces the aggro of other dinos and gives a small damage reduction, however this form has rather lackluster weight and health with only average melee. In its large form the Albertosaurus has a bleed effect on its attacks as well as a stomp attack that will slow down nearby creatures once this form will also have a super attack similar to a shadowmane. This form lacks stamina and speed but has great melee and health as well as an average weight. TAMING To tame the Albertosaurus you have to sneak up on it while it is sleeping killing the entire troodon pack then you access the Albert's inventory placing an artifact inside upon doing this the Albertosaurus will go into a rage changing into its large form then chasing the survivor then to finish the taming the survivor has to drop hunter trophies as the Albertosaurus gives chase then the Albertosaurus is yours.

This is my second creature submission, Regaliceratops. Regaliceratops is a creature near and dear to me because it was my first time visiting the Royal Tyrell Museum when I was still in school, just the thought of a Hellboy Trike smacking everything was really cool to me. A new powerful herbivore which potentially the coolest abilities! I hope you enjoy reading! Also checkout Dracovenator! An Artists Illustration Of Regaliceratops. What is Regaliceratops? Regaliceratops is a relative of Triceratops, it is believed to have lived in the late Cretaceous period, it is believed to have an estimated length of 5m and an estimated weight of 2 tonnes. The reason it is called Hellboy is due to where it was discovered and the stubby horns it has above it's eyes. Personally I would like to make Regaliceratops more larger to better suit its Hellboy nickname, let's say around the size of a Allo. Regaliceratops Dossier Wild: Regaliceratops better known as Hellboy is one of the Ark's most regal and territorial creature's, especially around their nest sites. The males boast larger horns than the females, and seek to fend of any large carnivores away from their nesting grounds. From what I've seen Regaliceratops is almost treated as royalty as smaller carnivores than it tend to avoid it. Tamed: The beauty of having a Regaliceratops is their friendliness towards your tamed large carnivores, it's almost like raising a dog not to get scared by other larger dogs. However when the time calls, Regaliceratops will put every ton of muscle to use, protecting you from even the likes of Giganotosaurus (that's if you can get away). Regaliceratops is also useful in other ways, due to its bulk it can carry a lot of resources like metal and black pearls. Behaviour Regaliceratops is a fairly passive herbivore unless there is a large carnivore nearby, the Alpha males will seek out the predator and put an end to it quickly. Appearance Regaliceratops displays convergent evolution, looking like a mix between Chasmosaurus and Triceratops. Obviously since this is Ark and we have a supersized Giga and Carchar, I would like to have the Regaliceratops around Allosaurus sized. The Herd All Regaliceratops spawn in a herd, there is one Alpha male among them which is an Alpha akin to Alpha Raptors/Carnos/Rex's, the Alpha Male only attacks large carnivores unless deliberately attacked by a survivor and its tames. Taming Regaliceratops has a special taming method where you have to gain the trust of the Alpha male by first throwing an apex drop from a rex, allosaurus or yuty (depending on the drop depends how much the Regaliceratops trusts you) then after that the Regaliceratops will nods its head in recognition of your strength, you must then throw wood and thatch to it, the male then proceeds to carry these items to the female, and once the nest has been completed, you will be rewarded an egg which would be based on the male and females levels. The levels of Regaliceratops go to 225. Combat It is advised not to use a large carnivore, as your damage will be reduced heavily. It is ideal to use Carno or smaller creatures as Regaliceratops ignores them until you attack. Any creatures which have a bleeding effect are also a good choice. Attacks Primary: Headbutt similar to Trike with knockback but dealing a bleed tick similar to Deinonychus. Secondary: Is a slam attack where it raises up on 2 legs and slams down with it's entire weight, this is an AOE attack which stuns survivors and small dinosaurs. Tertiary: Armour Buff Call, the description is in PvE abilities. Abilities - PvP Regaliceratops whilst being a herbivore is a very useful soaker taking a lot less damage on its head, this effects all turrets. Whilst riding Regaliceratops you are immune from being dismounted and immune from the effects of Plant X. Abilities - PvE Regaliceratops is a great boss fighter, dealing a bleed tick similar to that of the Deinonychus, but having better overall damage and a lot better health. However that's not where it ends, Regaliceratops has a special call which gives 50% incoming damage reduction to all creatures smaller than a Carnotaurus, this helps a lot of creatures which struggled to fight due to them either having low health or no armour, a few creatures in this size range will be excluded though. Frill Colour change mechanic, Regaliceratops is able to change its frill to 4 different colours, each providing a harvest bonus, red will represent red gem, blue for blue gems, green for green gems and purple for element. Passive Abilities Apex fighter, Regaliceratops is able to take decreased damage from large carnivores, the bigger the carnivore, the bigger the buff. Regaliceratops gains the apex buff where all carnivores smaller than it, will ignore you. Reduced weight for metal, black pearls, red gems, blue gems, green gems and element (shards and dust only). Saddle Regaliceratops has 2 saddles, a standard hide one and the flashy apex killer saddle. The Apex Killer saddle does not give anything extra, it only gives a cooler look, to acquire this saddle you need Rex arms, Giga hearts, Yuty lungs and Allosaurus brains. For Studio Wildcard looking at this, here's some more information on Regaliceratops: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regaliceratops
