introducing Deinochirus custos, the apex omnivore duck! (Not actual dossier just for reference) Wild: Deinochirus custos will usually be prowling the wasteland, desert dome and sunken forest, You will also find them fishing at water areas and competing with spinos for territory. Always on the look out for a corrupted creature as they will stop at nothing to end is. This is because they both hate corrupted creatures and love eating the nodules. Deinocheirus seem to be addicted to it. They have the ability to corrupt their own claws, sharpening and lengthening them. Taming: To tame these magnificent beasts u must first feed one a corrupted heart which will corrupt their claws and you must help them kill corrupted creatures. If the Deinocheirus take too much damage they will lose taming effectiveness, after they will grow tired and fall asleep 💤. You now must protect it from on coming hordes of corrupted creatures until it wakes up. This will always tame first try regardless of lvl BUT the higher the level the more creatures it must kill more creatures and it will sleep for longer ⏱. Tamed: Once tamed Deinocheirus is a force to be reckoned with, as this creature is giant, but more on that later. Deinocheirus has two different saddles. Saddle number one is just a regular saddle but helps with carrying stuff with a 20% weight reduction to corrupted nodules, metal, hide and element dust. The second saddle is a large platform saddle perfect for build large seige bases or for nomadic journies as this creature has immense stamina and power capable of over powering gigas and their corrupted counterparts. The Deinocheirus saddle is unlocked at level 70 and the platform saddle is unlocked at level 85. They are also great for boss battles and is arguably better than gigas for titan battles due it’s abilities. abilities: corruption killer; 3x damage and 2x resistance to corrupted creatures titan toppler; 4x damage to titans,3x resistance due to thick fur and adaption to corruption corruption frenzy; after eating a corrupted heart or 20 corrupted nodules it’s claws will corrupt and sharpen and double in length as it fur thickens dealing triple damage and 2x resistance to all damage, stacks with other abilities Hydration buff; when in water gains a hydration air conditioner; provides perfect temperature anywhere while riding for all passengers tek dismantler; 2x damage and 1.5x resistance to all tek creatures and 6x resource gathering to corrupted nodules metal, element and everything harvested from tek creatures attacks: left click, r2 bite basic bite; nothing special right click, L2 claw swipe; this attack deals bleed just like a giga and will also deal bleed when tamed when in corrupted frenzy hold to do it continuously x attack r3 wing flap +stomp; the Deinocheirus flaps it’s wings wildly while stomping the ground with it’s powerful feet dealing huge knock back and damage, this is it’s most powerful attack C attack L1 R1 same time; the Deinocheirus performs a nasty uppercut dealing immense damage and knocking the enemy sky high size; the Deinocheirus are truly giants being the length and size of brontosaurus and halfway up it’s neck extra: can do a custom chicken dance emote I hope you consider my Deinocheirus creature when voting!

Dracorex Ingens: Within the untamed landscapes of the Earth, the Dracorex stands as a formidable testament to nature's artistry in creation. Its presence is a harbinger of primal force, a creature whose very demeanor exudes an aura of unwavering aggression. One cannot help but be captivated by the eerie magnificence of this horned enforcer. Taming the Dracorex is a feat demanding both daring and cunning. To claim dominion over this fierce beast, one must undertake the audacious endeavor of stealing its precious egg, nurturing it to hatch, and then nurturing the newborn with the corrupted nodules that epitomize the Ark's enigmatic essence. Once tamed, the Dracorex reveals its true prowess, each ability echoing its wild nature. Its resplendent head adorned with formidable horns serves as more than mere ornamentation - it becomes a weapon of unyielding force. The Dracorex is capable of unleashing headbutts upon its adversaries, the very touch of its horns leaving a lingering mark that inflicts relentless bleeding. The ingenious adaptation of retractable spikes endows the creature with remarkable versatility, allowing it to switch between modes - one to induce bleeding, the other for torpidity, much like the versatile plates of a Stegosaurus. Yet, there is more to the Dracorex than brute force alone. Its battle-hardened hide insulates those in its vicinity, providing refuge from the elements akin to the mighty Dire Bear. In a display of primal might, it charges forth like a raging tempest, sending adversaries skyward, much like the legendary bull of old. The Dracorex's connection with the corrupted realm is undeniable. The very essence of corruption seems to amplify its power. Feeding the beast a few corrupted nodules awakens its bloodlust, causing its prowess to surge beyond measure, mirroring the transformative effects observed in the Ferox. This phenomenon, though uncanny, serves as a testament to the Ark's arcane underpinnings. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- General overview: This dinosaur can be tamed by stealing an egg from one of its nests, much like wyverns, then feeding it corrupted nodules. It is an extremely aggressive creature that will stop for nothing to chase its enemy. It has a horned head that houses retractable spikes which can cause bleed and torpor. In addition, when a survivor feeds the Draco enough corrupted nodules, it goes in a frenzy, with a +50% boost to all of its stats. Its scales provide insulation to survivors around it. Physical description: The Draco is between the size of a Carno and an Allo. It also has a spined ridge on its back and spikes close to its thighs, and more on its neck. It has two big horns that point forwards, like a bull. The Dracorex also has some of the corrupted purple veins, but it doesn't follow the hive mind. Abilities detailed descriptions: Bloodlust mode: When the Draco eats a corrupted module, it gets absolutely ferocious, having a +50% boost to all of its stats. Insulation boost: The Dracorex’s fur allows a survivor to cuddle close to him and warm up in cold areas. Headbutt: Switch between torpor and bleed mode. The bleed inflicts damage on the creature, while the other mode deals torpor to creatures. Corrupted conquest: The Draco deals extra damage to corrupted creatures. Hello everyone, in this forum I'm submitting a creature in a tier that hasn't won from any of the other recent creature submissions, Introducing the Tupuxuara, The aerial weapon of extinction,and The Corruption adapter. OVERVIEW Tupuxuara is a large genus of crested and toothless pterodactyl that lives in the early Cretaceous around 125 - 112 million years ago on what we now know as the Romualdo Formation of the Santana Group, Brazil. In the desolate plains of the map filled with corruption, Tupuxuara seems to be the only one who has adapted to the side effects thus becoming "immune" from corruption to their mind, They can be found anywhere but the shivering snow biome, they're seen to be a neutral creature however quickly turning aggressive at the smell of corrupted parts, because of its adaptation against the corruption, it isn't uncommon to see it destroying every corrupted creatures it saw and maybe other creatures along the way even if they can't take that much of a beating themselves, unlike other pterosaur in here, it has a habit of picking people up that provoked them to the sky and dropping them in high altitude to kill them, luckily just a punch can stop it from holding you up and cause it to drop you earlier,both the female and male Tupuxuara can be differentiate from a mile away, Females tend to have a larger and have a more numb crest while the males has a smaller and more sharper crest with more added color than that of the females. ABILITIES The Adapter: killing corrupted creatures allows it to be more adapted to the corruption more for a period of time, Killing more corrupted creatures allows it to gain more adaptation and thus making it stronger against corrupted creatures/corrupted areas, however if the it's adaptation is too much it can enter to its Fury of Corruption state (will be explained what it is in Taming process ), Unable to increase the adaptation if The Corruption Defuser is activated. The Corruption Defuser: their adaption to the corruption causes it to developing an ability where it could emit waves from it's large crest that can't be felt or hear but it does have an effect to nearby corrupted creatures making them in a seemingly exhausted state being slower, weaker, and "calmer" but also weaken corrupted parts to take more damage , however this adaptation only can be done specifically by the Females and the Males unfortunately doesn't have this adaptation. Streamlined:In exchange over the Corruption Defuser, males have a lot more movement freedom than the females able to move diagonally in place,backwards and turning 360° degrees in one spot, Their most added ability from this it's when it performed a streamlined ability, this ability allows it to basically glide in the air stopping stamina use while still able to fly in the air, it can't get any air however in this state and will slowly fall down if it doesn't perform any manouver or returning back to it's flying stage. SADDLE ABILITIES Female saddle:The female saddle provide a bomb stash that resembles that of a bomber in the real world, The stash can hold bombs such as: Grenades Poison grenades Smoke grenades Sticky bombs Proximity mines Plant Species X Oil jar (Increase damage to burning creatures) Each ammo can be hold in a quantity of 30 Max. Male Saddle:The males saddle provides simple pistols in each wings but can be upgraded to fabricated pistols in the fabricator,The weapons can only be shot when the Streamlined ability is activated. Both female and male Tupuxuara can be put an attachment onto their crest known as "the detector",The attachment acts as a helmet for the Tupuxuara and can be used to collect waves of elements from an orbital drop to determine every blueprints that are inside the orbital drop,while putting the attachment to female Tupuxuara can detect every single blueprints in an orbital drop, the males can only detect 75% of the blueprints because of their crest size, when putting the attachment to a Female Tupuxuara it will be unable to use the Corruption Defuser ability until the attachment is worn off. TAMING PROCESS Taming the flying aerial weapon for the map is similar to that of gambling for lottery tickets, First is to get close with one while having a corrupted heart in your inventory allowing it to smell and detect the danger of it, second step is to allow it to pick you up and once you're in the air, feed it the corrupted heart which overload it's mind and cause it to drop you, now this is where it gets the "gambling" part, when it drops you 3 things can happened to it. The first is where the corruption from the heart overloaded it's mind to an extent where it knocked the Tupuxuara out to be tamed the normal way, This is likely happening to weaker Tupuxuara however stronger ones makes this the most unlikely to happen. The second and most likely to happen is the brain of the Tupuxuara is just knocked sideways in which where it would act like your typical Tapejara,A passive creature that runs in sight of a player/danger,in this state you will need to sneak it up and feed it meat such as mutton,prime meat, etc in order to tame it. The third and last one is where the Tupuxuara goes in a state usually called as "The Fury of Corruption", This state goes around for 30 seconds where the Tupuxuara become an insanely aggressive creature, attacking everything from foes to allies having a massive damage increase and an especially Massive damage increase to corrupted creatures, It's Resistance is also increased aswell as its speed, aggro radius, and The chances it picking you up, and when it does pick you up,The only way to escape is by killing the Tupuxuara but good luck doing that before it kills you first. USEFULNESS Let's say you were able to tame a Tupuxuara,what is it's uses, well for starter it's a flier of course meaning you can traverse the map way easier and faster than land creatures, it's streamline ability allows it to stay in the air for a long period of time save from the monsters in the ground,They can be an excellent creature to use for drop pods and element veins mission as they deal increased damage to corrupted creatures while also being an agile creature, they can also be a great creature to use for taming the lesser Titans as their ability can weaken the corrupted nodes and made it at least faster for you to tame the titan,and the detector attachment can let you to know if a orbital drop have a blueprint you want without doing every single orbital drop to try and get it,and their respective saddle can be both fun to play with and possibly useful in some fights you'll do in PvP WEAKNESSES •Fabricated sniper The fabricated snipers can deal tons of damage to the Tupuxuara while still keeping it's distance, considering the health pool of the Tupuxuara will be around the same of that of the Tapejara,it might not take long for a fabricated snipers to kill a Tupuxuara in it's self. •Fire arrows When the Tupuxuara's highly adapted to the corruption it can also develop it's weakness and that is fire, Fire deals more damage to the Tupuxuara the higher it's adapted to the corruption •Saddle Both the basic Saddle have a weakness that can be exploited, for the female saddle, when it opens the bomb stash it's possible to shoot it and cause whatever it's supposed to drop exploded on the Tupuxuara itself,The effects to the Tupuxuara depends on the ammo that was supposed to be dropped. Grenades,sticky bombs, and proximity mine:Explode on site damaging both the Tupuxuara and rider. Poison Grenades:Deals torpor to the rider. Plant species X:Blinds the rider and unable to use any attack methods and abilities. Oil jar:Slows the Tupuxuara down while being covered in oil, able to be ignited with enough firepower such as bullets from guns or fire arrows for more fire damage. While the male saddle is more harder to exploit, you can shoot it's gun in it's wings if you're precise enough and cause it to be detached from the saddle causing the Tupuxuara to lose one of its weapon, you can also pick it up if you want to. The detector attachment can be shot off aswell. WHY DID I CHOOSE THIS CREATURE: One of the reasons of why I Choose the Tupuxuara specifically is because no fliers have won the creature vote for ASA/Ark Survival Ascended,the closest we got for a fliers that wins is the Yi Ling for abberation and the only true fliers that has ever come close to winning is the hatzegopterus for the center, Considering extinction is a huge map and the low abundance of fliers,well fliers that existed in the real word on the map at least,I think a flier should fit for the map perfectly with many spots to explore with it that otherwise can't with land creatures, and it really wouldn't hurt for another flier that can pick you up, Right?.

Estemmeno is back! And this time ready for Extinction! If you were around (probably not...) during the Center vote, you may have seen our take on Estemmenosuchus, my favourite synapsid, so we're bringing him back and this time themed to be 100% fit for survival in the corrupted world of Extinction! Now onto the Dossier Common name: Estemmeno Species name: Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris Time: Mid Permian Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild I am entirely convinced that Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris has no fears, they will fight anything that imposes a threat against them to the very end. I can't stress enough just how dangerous an encounter with Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris is, they aren't like any other Estemmenosuchus specimen, they are far different, they're aggressive, strictly carnivorous, and lay eggs, almost as if most of their genetics have been modified heavily. Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris is an remarkably terrifying predator and even the corrupted creatures fear going near to it's presence, which I partly understand, I don't know how to describe it but Estemmenosuchus seems to hurt corrupted creatures by far more than it can to regular creatures, maybe it is their seemingly natural taste for the corrupted nodules that can at times be found, I've seen survivors guiding the corrupted towards Estemmenosuchus and just see as they begin to swarm the corrupted slowly, did I mention they hunt in packs? Domesticated I don't know of anyone who has been brave enough (and/or dumb enough) to try and attempt taming an Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris specimen, in fact, I don't think anyone has tamed one as of yet, however, I know of many survivors who show an interest in taming Estemmenosuchus, which checks out, their amazing hunting capabilities as well as their increased speed when under pressure can make a formidable tame, especially against the twisted results of what Element has done to other creatures. Perhaps a way to tame them is by aiding them in a fight that they almost die to, slowly earning their trust, narcotics definetly seem to not work, and hand-feeding them would be feeding them your hand, I also highly doubt they'll let you 10 feet near their young or eggs, but then again, this continues to be nothing other than a theory. And that was the dossier! Of course, we had to change it for it to stand out more, now onto the abilities of an Estemmenosuchus and why you should tame it - Increased Damage to all corrupted creatures; This means that if you're ever in some trouble with creatures that are even slightly corrupted, Estemmenosuchus will deal increased damage and will take less damage against Corrupted creatures, this also includes to creatures like Velanosaurus and Managarmr. - Pack mindset; As stated earlier, Estemmenosuchus spawns and will be in packs, these packs can be of 6-8 members, you will likely see the leader far away from the pack, just remember, if you see an Estemmenosuchus, their buddies are around too, you're always being watched. - Taming method; Trust gain, instead of stealing their eggs, killing their pack, knocking out, or passive taming, you'll have to lower Estemmenosuchus' health, and afterwards guide it towards a Corrupted Creature, to help Estemmenosuchus killing them, afterwards a trust meter will begin to go up, after the first creature killed, Estemmenosuchus will not chase you, after the second creature killed, Estemmenosuchus will follow you slowly, after the third creature killed, Estemmenosuchus will follow you completely, after the fourth creature killed, you may ride Estemmenosuchus for additional protection, finally, the fifth creature marks the completion of the trust meter, and Estemmenosuchus will be yours, note that this excludes the "pseudo-corrupted creatures" like managarmr, velanosaurus, gasbags, gachas, etc. - Crazed Ego; if Estemmenosuchus begins getting damaged a lot by a corrupted creature, it's ego will be hurt, and it will become enraged and it's attacks would work similarly to the Tek Claws from Gen 1, it will slowly begin dealing more and more damage to the creature, this buff will apply to the pack as well. The Pros of tamed Estemmenosuchus - Corrupted and Boss Killing; Due to the buff that Estemmenosuchus recieves against Corrupted Creatures, it would be quite optimal to use these boys to go on runs for Corrupted Nodules, killing Titans with additional backup, and even Orbital Supply Drops, just be sure to have them well-leveled, otherwise it won't end up as good. - Psuedo-Tank; Estemmenosuchus will be beefy and will hit like a truck, it may tank a lot of hits and considering the Crazed Ego buff ontop of the Pack Buff, it makes it a very good tame for people who want to go out on crazy runs, or want to absolutely demolish a Titan with these dudes. - Kind of Trusty Companion; No matter the circumstance, be it torpor, be it low health, Estemmenosuchus will fight for you to defend you if you're dying, no matter what, it is willing to give it's life for yours, and it will ensure to do it if it has to. - No fears; it takes multiple roars from Yutyrannus to scare Estemmenosuchus away. - Versatility; Estemmenosuchus is incredibly versatile, wanna run through the wastelands? This guy will cross you through without hesitation, Wanna go to the Desert Dome? He's got you covered too, he'll keep you alive and will beat anything that DARES attack you, wanna go to the Snow Dome? He's got you covered, ain't NO managarmr attacking you, ain't NO yuty scaring bro, wanna go to the Crater Forest and build a base? You and your Estemmenosuchus will build a little house together. - EXTREMELY useful in PVE/PVP; Estemmenosuchus is WORTH taming by all means, it's combined abilities make it an extremely worth-it tame to obtain, it'd deal a lot of damage to creatures which are used a lot which could possibly be a game changer whilst in combat. The Cons of tamed Estemmenosuchus - Fatso; If you overwork your Estemmenosuchus by not properly feeding it, or making it overuse it's stamina, it will knock you off and just sit there until you properly feed it or it's stamina regenerates, note this doesn't apply if the survivor is about to die. - Tedious taming; Taming Estemmenosuchus will be EXTREMELY grinded, they can only spawn on selective zones of the wasteland and rarely, obviously not rarer than like, idk, a Corrupted max level Giga, but definetly rarely, it will be a very RNG-Based taming and spawn, as well as a max level Estemmenosuchus isn't always guaranteed - Reduced utility outside of extinction; Estemmenosuchus sounds OP in paper, but in a map outside of extinction it is practically just another high-damage dealing carnivore, this doesn't mean they'd be weak, quite the contrary actually, but Estemmenosuchus excells in Extinction and other maps that include corrupted creatures or the after-mentioned "pseudo-corrupted" creatures - Taming rates don't affect procedure; No matter your taming rates, be it times 100 taming speed it will ALWAYS take 5 victorious battles against corrupted creatures. - Overall PVE/Solo/Small Tribe challenge; Since taming Estemmenosuchus would be such a tedious and long process, a big tribe would be prefferable to find the corrupted dinos and keeping Estemmenosuchus in one place, not to mention guiding the preffered specimen away from the pack. - Pack requierments; Similarly to gachas, Estemmenosuchus will get sad if it doesn't have a pack. Saddle Estemmenosuchus' Saddle unlocks at Level 73, beggining with Late Game ARK; It will have the following requierments: 120 Metal Ingots/Scrapped Metal Ingots 180 Cementing paste 400 Hide 80 polymer/organic polymer/corrupted nodules 20 crystalized blue sap 15 crystalized red sap 60 sulfur The reasoning behind this is for Estemmenosuchus to be a tame that is worth it and at the same time not something you'll see everyone riding around with, making it expensive will make only the true survivors get the resources for this creatures saddle, the way the saddle works is that it'll give Estemmenosuchus a sort of helmet, which will exagerately extend protection from it's horns, therefore making it a sort of crest-like shield like that of Triceratops, the armor will also give the survivor protection from being flanked by enemy attackers, basically, it'd be worth it. Pack While Estemmenosuchus seems grindy, it is absolutely worth it to tame, and a pack of these? Is even MORE worth it. It is self explenatory, tame a pack of these, you get a buff, and if the leader of the pack roars, al the pack gets a buff. And that'd be IT (for now, at least) for ESTEMMENOSUCHUS! Name: Majungasaurus crenatissimus Time: Late cretaceous Diet: Carnivorous Temperament: Unpredictable Description: Majungasaurus crenatissimus is a formidable creature to come across, despite it being just smaller than an allo, but don't let its size fool you. The majungasaurus hangs around in the deadlands areas between bio-domes, and if that wasn't weird enough, it's favourite prey is the corrupted dinos that inhabit the area, tending to feed on corrupted carno's and stego's the most. When you come across this creature however, you best prey that there aren't any corrupted dinos in the area, as after consuming enough corrupted flesh, it goes into a frenzy, and don't think that because you're not corrupted it won't go after you, just because you're not its favourite, doesn't mean it won't eat you. Your best saving grace once it enters this frenzy is to either kill it or wait until it ends. Once its frenzy is over, it will become tired and start to move very slowly making it vulnerable to predators and maybe even taming? Taming method: If you yourself want to tame this beast you must use the knowledge you have of other taming methods on this beast, mainly that of the Carcha and Amarg, requiring you to first drag the bodies of dead corrupted dinos up to it in order to fill its frenzy meter, once in this state, you must lead it to corrupted dinos to kill in order to raise taming effectiveness, you do this by waving a corrupted torch, made with a torch and 5 corrupted nodules. once it exits this frenzied state, it will become tired and weakened, allowing you to passively feed it corrupted nodules, preferring them over even the best of kibbles, but be alert, as other dinos may use this time to try and take it out. (Note: if the Majunga is hit whilst in its frenzy it will not lose taming effectiveness) Once tamed, you have a formidable friend to help you conquer the corrupted land between you and the biodomes, possessing abilities including: Bite: Medium damage Charged bite: High damage and bleed (10s cooldown) Headbutt: Medium damage, high knockback Cosmetic roar: A cool roar Corrupted healing: Increased healing after eating corrupted flesh Frenzy: Eating corrupted dinos will charge a frenzy meter. Once filled, the Majunga will have a minor damage increase overall and do triple damage to any corrupted dino, however once frenzy mode has ended, it will be around a minute before it can get into another frenzy After taming, it will also gather corrupted nodules better than other dinos and increase their spoil timer to. Overall, with the Majungasaurus roaming between the biodomes, expect to see less corrupted dinos than normal, and if you own one, get ready to dominate the deadlands.
