BT broadband join glitch

I’m getting very annoyed since I bought the game in the first hour excited to play official pvp, however I weren’t able to play because I have BT in the uk, I don’t know why this stops me from playing but it’s unfair because I pay £37 (there was supposed to be a discount) to only be able to play the game by myself. If this issue cannot be fixed then I would like a refund because this is not fair whatsoever. Whenever I try to enter a server I’m left on a never ending “joining server (server name…)”
