Wild:
These creatures, about the size of raptors. are usually seen leaping from tree to tree. They eat insects like Meganeura and titanomyrma by waiting in treetops and then ambushing them. They live solitary lives with little to no social interaction between the species. As it is an insectivore, it generally acts docile towards survivors and other smaller dinosaurs. If provoked, they will attack back with a vicious maw and a huge tail whip. They are usually found in dense forests with many trees they can climb and glide.
Domesticated:
To tame these creatures, one must first give it some chitin to eat. After, lure in bugs and help the Hypuronector kill them. When fully domesticated, they can glide between trees and climb up them. In addition, they also have two special poisons that they can switch between. The first poison slowly drains the health of the creature they bite. The more bugs they eat, the deadlier the poison becomes. The second type of poison is made automatically, and can be used as narcotic. Their tails can be used for steering when gliding and to push other dinosaurs away. Its saddle can hold up to two survivors, and a lot of chitin. The saddle can also be a base for a shield of chitin surrounding the Hypuronector. If the Hypuronector is in an area with a lot of green, they can camouflage and turn invisible.
Attacks/Abilities:
Tail whip: The Hypuronector uses its tail to hit a creature, dealing some damage and knockback.
Poison bite: When the Hypuronector bites a creature, a poison is brought along with it, and it slowly drains the health of the creature for a while. The damage of the poison increases the more bugs he eats.
Narcotic poison: A poison that spawns in its inventory. It can be used as a narcotic to make anything normal narcotic makes, such as tranq arrows and tranq darts.
Saddle shield: The saddle is surrounded by chitin. This lowers damage and prevents status conditions like bleeding and poison from affecting the Hypuronector.
Glide: The Hypuronector can glide, similar to a Maewing, except slower.
Climb: The Hypuronector can climb up vertical surfaces that have to be very flat, like trees or walls.
Chitin reduction: Chitin weight gets reduced by 75%
Camouflage: The Hypuronector can turn invisible with areas with a lot of green, like dense forests.
