Suggestion

Megapaloelodus is an extinct genus of birds distantly related to flamingos. It belongs to the same family as the closely related genus Palaelodus, but was more specialized. Megapaloelodus represents a specialization of the lifestyle of Palaelodus, which apparently was more like a wading duck in behavior – long-legged but still able to swim with ease, possibly even diving a lot – than a modern flamingo. Megapaloelodus, on the other hand, seems to have been evolved into a true wading bird, convergent with the true flamingos.

In-game, it is a friendly creature with a design that resembles a giant flamingo, mostly brightly colored.
These flamingos live in groups of about five around the water, and when attacked by other creatures, they all fly into the sky at once to escape.
However, if certain conditions are met, they will spread their wings and act intimidating to warn them, and if they ignore the warning, they will attack all at once.
The condition is to get close to their nest.
At that nest, they are always waiting to warm their eggs, just like real flamingos. warn you.
However, if you ignore the warning and approach the nest, Megapaloelodus will attack all at once to protect the nest.
It is usually timid enough to run away, but it may attack if it is to protect the nest.

Taming method
You may think that there are eggs in the nest, but the probability of producing fertilized eggs is extremely low, and 80% of them are infertile, so finding fertilized eggs will be difficult.
If you get a fertilized egg, you can hatch it and raise it, but the problem is that the food is "Megapaloelodus milk" that is dropped from Megapaloelodus with a low probability, and you can only feed it.
Therefore, you will need to defeat many Megapaloelodus to obtain it.
But there is another way of taming, and it is very peaceful.
That is, by approaching the individual you want to tame with Ghillie equipment and handing over Chitin, you can play a dance game with the player wearing Ghillie equipment.
In addition, Megapaloelodus will not accept any equipment other than Ghillie equipment, so Ghillie equipment is required when taming.
And dancing games require a well-timed "left click" to center the bar in the same way as hacking taming in Tek Stryder.
If successful, the Taming Gauge fills up, but unlike the Tek Stryder, it dances without rest.
A time is set for this dance, and after that time, the bar will reappear, and just like before, press "Left Click" at the right time to move the bar to the center and raise the tamage gauge.
However, if you fail, you will have to stop dancing and start all over again.
And once it's up to 75%, you can mount it like an Equus, auto-pop, and start flying in the air.
From there, press and hold either the left or right key on the screen in the same way as Andrewsarchus, and the taming gauge will rise, and when it reaches 100%, the taming is complete.
This will automatically fly in the sky just by pressing the key. You'll have to redo it, so just be careful.
After taming
It can be ridden without a saddle and can glide.
Touching water tends to increase movement speed.
They can spread their wings to intimidate, which is effective against medium-sized creatures such as Raptors and Sabertooths.
Equipping a saddle, however, can be fun.
It's like a "flying gatling", this Megapaloelodus has a small Gatling cannon mounted on its head that can be used by having an assault rifle in the Megapaloelodus inventory.
However, the saddle itself has a durability value, and when it runs out, it can no longer be used.
Also, Megapaloelodus can stand and wait like a real flamingo, so you can use Gatling in that state.
However, there is actually a TEK saddle that allows you to shoot light bullets while flying like a jet.
Moreover, if you enter the water while gliding, you can swim like a submarine.
Without gliding, you can ride it like a TEK Hoversail if you stick it in the water.
However, this assumes you have a TEK saddle.
