Wild: Although the Pliosaurus is humongous, it likes to dwell in shallower water compared to other monsters of the sea. It seems they do this because of the lack of competition and the abundance of food. Beach dwellers aren't safe either as they will sometimes pop out the water to snag a quick meal.
Taming: Pliosaurus has an iron gut similarly to Earth tiger sharks. To domesticate one of these beast, you will need feed it a variety of items such as meats, organic polymer, hide and angler gel. (Note: All of this may be replaced with kibble). Lastly, you'll need clean its teeth after you fed it, but don't stay too close or you'll be its next meal.
Domesticated: With a Pliosaurus by your side, you can do a variety of things.
First, With their massive maws, they can grab and immobilize underwater creatures for a some time.
Small Wild Creature: Infinitely
Small Enemy Creature: 15 min
Medium Wild Creature: 8 min
Medium Enemy Creature: 5 min
Large Wild Creature: 5 min
Large Enemy Creature: 1.5 min
(Note: Creatures with platform saddles and Alphas can't be grabbed)
Even though they have a one seater saddle, Pliosaurus can still grab two ally players.
Second, The Pliosaurus can drag unconscious creatures around.
Third, They can beach for short time to drag unsuspecting players and dinos into the water.
Lastly, After force feeding a Plio there is 50% chance to generate spoiled meat in its teeth.
