WILD:
While most small creatures on the arks are cute and mostly harmless, this is not one of those. This honey badger, or more accurately Chamitataxus Aberitus, in the wild is highly aggressive at night due to its nocturnal nature and will often sleep mostly during the day. It has a high immunity to most potents because of its dense hide. It’s claws however are sharp enough to cause most creatures to bleed, and might be useful for clawing beehives! Though be very careful at night because from my encounter of these creatures they are highly territorial or just highly aggressive after eating honey or by simply being out at night with it.
DOMESTICATED:
Once you have managed to tame this creature you may as well know it’s unique features, such as its unique ability to call out to its owner to let you know when an earthquake is about to appear, It also can dig up gems during an earthquake like your own personal mini roll-rat, Due to their temperament they can scare most small creatures if they get too close, even up to a carnotaurus! These animals have also adapted the ability to change their color of bioluminescence depending on its mood, such as green for passive, yellow for neutral, red for aggressive. and cyan when it’s hungry. They I’ve also encountered this creature eating insects such as Arthropleuras and glow bugs so make sure yours is kept safe from them if tamed.
A list of ideas or things it could do to put it simply,
-It is a shoulder pet
-This creature can only be tamed at level 25
It can glow to weaken reapors and strengthens seekers similar to glow pets
-Has a high immunity to most if not all potents or venoms
-Gives a companion bonus to the direbear in terms of collecting more honey than normal.
-It loves eating insects and could possibly do bonus damage to them.
-It is able to alert or signal to it’s owner of the next upcoming earthquakes.
-It is highly aggressive at night and territorial during the day (similar to the troodon)
-This creature can as well bleed out its victims once it’s in its nocturnal state.
-It can let out a screech on your shoulder to scare creatures up to the size of a carnotaurus. (Similar to the sinomacrops)
-It can only be tamed at day while it is tired due to its nocturnal nature and can only be tamed by sneaking up to it and dropping honey and then backing off for a bit as it will get a sugar rush for about 30 seconds. It’s basically a combination of both the andrewsarchus and shadowmane taming methods)
-Has different glows depending on its mood like passive/green, neutral/yellow, aggressive/red and cyan which could be either by it being hungry or set in the passive flee mode
