Sharovipteryx Apatilos - The Illusion Master

Suggestion

Wild
I was extraordinarily lucky to see a Sharovipteryx in the wild. These strange, elusive critters have long, powerful legs that support a gliding surface, which they use exclusively to run from anything and everything that may pose a threat. Interestingly, the Sharovipteryx I observed seemed to bend the light around it, causing a blurring effect when pressed by predators, confusing the hungry carnivores. They can also put on one hell of a light show, causing would-be attackers to become temporarily dazed and disoriented as the Illusionist makes a hasty getaway. Tamed According to the owner of the only tamed Sharovipteryx I have seen, to befriend one requires patience. One must offer the Sharovipteryx some sort of gift, most often reflective material. Once one gains its trust, they may feed it whatever food they have on hand, although Sharovipteryx does prefer Element. When a Shaorvipteryx is befriended, you may find that it is an incredibly versatile travel mount, capable of ricocheting off of solid surfaces to gain speed alongside being quite light-footed. Thanks to this speed and light-manipulating abilities, Sharovipteryx can dodge almost any incoming attack at sufficient speeds, allowing it and its rider to avoid any and all harm. Although, it seems like Sharovipteryxs' mastery of Illusion does not help it against enemies that can see past its conventional vision-based defences. Creatures such as Snow Owls and Enforcers alongside Tek helmets can see through its disguise, allowing them or their user to hit Sharovipteryx directly.

Taming The player must offer gifts to their desired Sharovipteryx in the form of reflective material like Oil, Obsidian, Crystal and Metal. Once Sharovipteryx trusts the player enough, it becomes a regular passive tame. Sharovipteryx will eat anything but prefers kibble or Element (dust, shards and pure).
