Rhinorex Gatherus is one of the weirdest animals I have seen on Scorched Earth, besides all of the deathworms, wyverns, and living rocks . . . but that is not the point, Rhinorex has been seen by multiple different survivors with the Rhinorex possessing different skills such as a more axed shaped tail for cutting wood easier, larger claws for gathering thatch, a club / pickaxe tail for gathering tougher materials, and a sharper beak for shredding fiber off of plants. Rhinorexes are also surprisingly very playful with survivors, running up to them when they spot them and may even trade resources with them that they have gathered.

 

Domesticated

Rhinorex, when domesticated are very docile and will make other animals around it feel more comfortable. Rhinorex are very useful for gathering, being able to gather almost anny material very quickly and very well . . . if you get the right variant that is. Rhinorex can gather specific materials very well as long as if it is the specific type to gather those resources so for example a sharp beaked Rhinorex would be very useful gathering fiber, but thatch would be gathered not very well and if it bit into wood, it would hurt the Rhinorex's beak.

 

Taming:

Rhinorexes are very picky when it comes to taming them, they require very specific things in order to be befriended. Once given this item they will follow you around curiously and will occasionally want to be played with which requires the survivor to chase them until they can either tag them or the Rhinorex gets bored. Soon if all the steps followedthe Rhinorex will want to stay with the survivor and will be tamed.
Taming Foods / Resources: Cactus, Wood, Fiber, Thatch, Stone, Flint, Metal, Wyvern Milk, Trophys Drops, etc.

 

Abilities:

Bite: A small damageing bite that can gather berries.

Hoof Kick: A front kick that can stun small animals for a short period of time.

Back Kick: A back kick that can stun larger animals for a short period. Stuns smaller animals for a longer period of time.

Passive Comfort Ability: A small boost in stamina, weight, slower food and water drain, oxygen, and crafting skill that boosts all animals and survivors near it.

 

Spin Attack (Requires Axe / Club tail): A quick tail attack which with the axe tail can cause bleed and with the club tail causes bone break.

Clawed: Boosts Hoof Kick damage as well as adding bleeding with the removal of stunning creatures.

Fanged: Boosts Bite Damage while adding a small amount of bleed.

 

Axe Tail: Can gather materials such as wood, fungal wood, cactus, etc.

Club Tail: Can gather materials such as stone, flintmetal, gems, etc.

Clawed: Can gather materials such as , hide, blood, bile, toxin, salt, sand, etc.

Fanged: Can gather materials such as fiber, charcoal, silk, wool, chitin keratin, etc.
