In real life Acheroraptor is a smaller dromaeosaurid that was thought to have hunted small mammals reptiles and other dinosaurs, but also believed to have scavenged kills of apex predators in the area. A possibility of it in ark could be it spawning in around large carnivores and to tame them you’d need to throw down meat or other foods to lure them away. A possible purpose for taming them could be them being able as a little shoulder alarm. Due to hanging around large carnivores they got used to knowing when said carnivores saw them as a snack, meaning they could alert you when something agros to you.
