The giant horsefly is found in the jungles of the island. Upon seeing a survivor, they attack, and deal damage and drain stamina. They’re also very loud to provide an early warning. Additionally, they can target the survivor on top of a mount.
To stop them, you can make a blue hat with some sort of sticky substance on them, and they will get stuck to the hat when they attack, without actually striking.
Horse flies can create medical brews in their inventory, from the blood they ingest, and upon killing or feeding them, you can obtain these brews.
they are tamable, and upon domestication, they can be given blood packs to produce the aforementioned medical brews.
