Crocodylus Imperator (Saltwater Apex)

Shinohebi

Suggestion

Giant Saltwater Crocodile thought of to give people a reason to explore and brave the dangers of the oceans on maps where there may be less reasons. I imagine somewhere between Sarcosuchus and Kaprosuchus in stance (Less like a dog, but not quite lying flat) with more well developed front and back limbs than a traditional Croc. I envision the size to compete with Mosasaurus. This is not exclusively accurate to Prehistoric Crocs, being much larger and having added functionality, but I really do think that more reasons to explore Ark's oceans would be a welcome addition.

Croc is based on The largest species of Crocodile to exist (Sarcosuchus Imperator) And the common genus for the Saltwater Crocs (Crocodylus porosus)

Left click (basic attack) will cause the Croc to swipe with its front forelimbs, however holding the button down will charge a poweful bite. Releasing left click after 20% charge will cause the Croc to clamp down, either causing a massive shockwave and bleeding, or allowing the Croc to grapple a target, thrashing it to inflict heavy damage.

Right click will be a charged slide on ground (Similar to a Maewing's slide animation) or a burst of forward momentum in water.

C key will be a tail spin, stunning large ocean predators like Mosa and Tuso, but just inflicting damage to smaller ocean creatures. It can use this to escape a Tuso's grapple.

Eggs of Croc will be used like Gacha crystals, after it lays one, collect it and consume to grant a random selection of rare deep sea materials (Organic Polymer, Angler Gel, Black Pearls etc) Warning will still display on fertilised eggs. Must be hatched in water.

Baby Crocs will 'pew' when distressed (The noise Baby Crocs make in real life that sounds like a space gun) Which will cause nearby Crocs you have tamed to automatically attack the source of the Baby's distress, regardless of it's set Behaviour.

It can be found both in deep and shallow water but only spawns far away from land and can aggro you at any depth.

Taming method would either be a deep ocean Egg tame or a standard knockout tame.
