agalacticunicorn Posted September 2, 2019 Share Posted September 2, 2019 Unable to join non-dedicated server My husband, brotherinlaw and myself all live in the same house and one of the few games we enjoy playing together is Ark. We have been able to play before, with mods, all on the same network (my download speed is 154 mbps, download is 12 mbps). Today I tried hosting a session to try out a new mod and my husband could not connect to it. He kept getting a join failed connection timeout. I had not changed anything other than adding mods. We got frustrated after he was not able to access the session when I could so I exited out and he started hosting. I have not been able to access his session but my brotherinlaw can. They have been playing for hours while I have been trying to get into the server, researching fixes, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, verifying files, unsubscribing and deleting mods, making sure all my drivers are up to date. I am seriously at my wits end and very frustrated with the whole situation. Please let me know if anyone has any solutions to this problem.
