So back in July there were a number of upcoming changes that folks had been waiting on that really would improve the feel of the game. Things like fixing dinos getting stuck on trees, adding basic pathing and other AI to dinos, fixing engram layout so it wasn't such a cluster@#$*() finding things, fixing the documentation for the devkit since it was out of date, getting better about announcing and hitting patch targets.
I will point out that was all in July of last year, 14 months ago, I left in November and recently came back to see what had been fixed, sadly the answer is 'not a lot' but hey there are prehistoric kangaroos so there's that.
Then you promptly borked up the one half way decent semi-official mod that tried to fix balance issues by making it an official TC (looking at you prim+), apparently promptly abandoned it and released this new paid for expansion. I suspect these mysterious creatures will also get stuck on trees (or cactuses or something), include horribly sorted engrams and some absolutely required devkit change required to support the expansion that for some inexplicable reason is tied to the base game and will be delayed for a month (see Survival of the Fittest release) thus borking many modded game servers.
So congrats on the expansion, it's a lot of work and you probably deserve a back pat but it sure would have been nice to fix some of the 16 month old bugs first.
