Have they made ANY hints at new creature submissions for any maps? It's been ages and I have one at the ready when they come.

I will be honest, i didn’t like the Fasolasuchus, it combines with the Scorched earth map and it can be a great method for taming golems, but i really liked the giant moa just it being a recently extinct creature and resisting to sandstorms was just enough motives to vote on him, but it lost to the fasolasuchus, if you voted to the fasolasuchus i understand why and this is not a hate post so i am going to talk about it good and bad points. The fasolasuchus design isn’t my favorite, but that not the author’s fault because i think it is a little darker in the dossier i prefer the original design, the taming method is a bit strange it remembers me a bull fight for some reason but is very original, and finally the abilities, the Fasolasuchus abilities make it seem like a sand shark, and that’s ossom and i also liked it beign an easier form to tame golems it’s cool. Final note: i give the Fasolasuchus a 7. I will talk about the ragnarok winner later.

TL;DR - Gobiraptor Minutus is a small theropod that attaches to Corrupted creatures in the Wasteland to feed off their Element. Kill the creature it's on and feed it Element to tame it. Keep it fed or it will enter an enraged "Hangry" mode. Naturally sniffs out explorer notes and scares off small creatures like pegos/microraptor. With interchangeable craftable TEK modules, it can use HLN-A's scan ability and stun TEK creatures and equipment for a short time. A rare costume can be obtained from Corrupted Alphas that allows you to 3-D print skins. Dossier: Wild: Gobiraptor Minutus is a big deal for such a little guy. It can be found in the wastelands around the Sanctuary City - well, actually found on the Corrupted creatures in the Wasteland! Gobiraptor has found a unique way of processing the Element that usually corrupts creatures and as such it latches onto larger infected creatures and feeds off them! Taming: Taming one of these little ones is a unique challenge; the first step is to remove them from the creature they're attached to by killing the creature without hurting the gobiraptor. They can latch onto something as small as Triceratops or something as dangerous as a Gigantosaurus! And the task of removal is difficult in itself: attempting to kill the creature with a tame is too imprecise, so you'll have to do it manually. In addition, if the gobiraptor takes damage at any point it will scurry off or - worse - die! The best trick we've found is to use a precise weapon like a sniper or bow to kill the Corrupted Creature. Once it's off you can feed it some form of Element, until it's tamed. Be careful though! If it finds another Corrupted Creature to latch onto you'll have to start all over! Domesticated: Aside from being adorable, these guys have a variety of uses for just about any type of Survivor! Santiago even made some cute little helmets for them! My personal favorite is what he calls the Data Scanner: helpful for looking at a creature's information. Santiago likes the Pulse Extender better - apparently it amplifies the natural bio-electricity of the little guy to temporarily fry nearby TEK - useful against those defense units. Even without the addons, Gobiraptor is quite useful. He can sniff out nearby data points, frighten away pesky creatures like pegomastax and microraptor. Finally, Gobiraptor also has the ability to temporarily power nearby electronics - like a short term, portable, bio-battery! As an addendum, Kaz was able to find a 3-D printer in the stomach of one of the larger carnivores. If you attach it to Gobiraptor, the Element it passively eats will charge the printer and you can print some unique costumes. Seeing Kaz walking around with bunny ears on his head is worth all the trouble I've been through. Make sure to feed your little guy. If he gets too hungry, he'll get hangry and start attacking you and your tames. -* So the idea with this creature was originally a bot, but I wasn't sure if that was allowed so I picked a cute dinosaur to adapt the idea to. Extinction has long been missing a shoulder pet, and I was wondering what would be the most useful creature for a survivor who has already beaten the ARKs and is now facing down the Titans. Gobiraptor perches on the medium to large size Corrupted creatures in the Wasteland. Before you can even begin the taming you have to find one you want to tame, then kill whatever it's attached to - it could be as mundane as a Trike or as terrifying as a Giga! And you can't use creatures - it will instantly kill the Gobiraptor. Additionally, weapons like shotguns or TEK rifles can hurt the Gobiraptor which will cause it to flee and despawn. So you need to kill the creature with a precision weapon. Once the creature is dead, Gobiraptor will be a little lost and just stand there, confused for a few seconds. This is the perfect time to run in and feed it some Element! At first it'll just take dust, then shards, then whole Element, repeating the cycle until tamed - similar to Astrodelphis. After eating it will curl up and take a nap. When it wakes up you can feed it again! Be careful though, feeding Gobiraptor Element will trigger an effect similar to basilos and attract nearby Corrupted creatures - and if one large enough gets close, Gobiraptor will latch on and you'll have to start all over. I thought this would be a tough and unique taming method while not being as infuriating as amargasaurus. It gives the Wasteland some life and a bit of challenge to the corrupted creatures. Alone, Gobiraptor will scare off the more pesky creatures of the ARKs like pegos, microraptor, etc. similar to a Sinomacrops. Additionally it can sniff out explorer notes like a direwolf - something I really wish a shoulder pet could do. There are two TEK helmets you can craft and equip on it: The DATA Sensor and the Pulse Extender. The DATA Sensor gives you HLN-A's scanning ability while the Pulse Extender allows the Gobiraptor to temporarily stun TEK equipment/creatures. It has a limited range and short effect - but enough to give you a head start getting away or turn an ambush into a fair fight. The PAC Attachment (Purify Absorb Convert) goes in the costume slot. Overtime as Gobiraptor consumes Element it will build charge which it will store in the PAC. You can use this charge as a form of currency to 3-D print skins! As a bonus I'd love an exclusive skin set to Gobiraptor - maybe a Corrupted TEK skin set. While the other two modules can be crafted, the PAC can only be found as a rare drop from Corrupted Alphas. It will be broken when you find it and you'll have to repair it. The battery part I'm iffy on, but to round it out I included it. Basically Gobiraptor can be placed down and set into battery mode. It will consume more Element (Like Daeodon) and power structures in a small range. Finally, Gobiraptor's allegiance is only bought with Element, fail to feed it and it will quickly turn on you and your tames. While it is in "Hangry Mode" it will attack tames and you, and also damage any TEK related items or structures in an attempt to feed. You can try to pacify it with Element but good luck - it's fast moving and deadly when enraged - you'll probably end up having to kill it. Stethacanthuses! The sonar and night vision deep water shark!
Tippitys posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Introducing the Stethacanthuses! A prehistoric Devonian era shark that feasts on small fish and other underwater creatures down at the very depths of the ocean. With neutral temperament and carnivorous diet, this interesting shark is perfect for searching through caves or even the depths of the ocean where it comes from. The Stethacanthuses will have a unique saddle that allows the dinosaur to provide night vision to the rider which will enhance vision underwater, making the depths of the ocean far less terrifying. The Stethacanthuses will also have a built in sonar provided by its uniquely shaped dorsal fin, this will help detect underwater creatures and threats to ensure you can defend yourself. The Stethacanthuses is perfect for both sides of the ARK, the PvP and PvE with it providing a useful night vision effect for deepwater diving which can assist in finding valuable resources or bases/other players. The sonar also being incredibly useful for both PvE and PvP because of the fact it can assist in raiding or be stationed near a group of tames or an ocean base to ensure that no wild dinos or tamed dinos can get close to attack. In the wild, Stethacanthuses will not attack humans unless provoked, when provoked, Stethacanthuses will go into a fit of rage using their sharp teeth and fins to attack the aggressor dealing bleed damage and a crushing 2% total health instantly lost with the new "Crushed" effect which (as previously stated) causes any HUMAN to lose 2% of their maximum health in one bite. This effect can be activated every 5 seconds. Once domesticated, the Stethacanthuses will be a viable asset to any aquatic squadron, it will also be a valuable chitin farming creature with its 50% less carry weight and 70% increased gathering efficiency on chitin. Domesticated Stethacanthuses will be an invaluable tool for all cave exploration and deep sea diving with the night vision saddle and sonar detection provided by the anvil shaped dorsal fin. Notes: - Stethacanthuses introduces a new, unique underwater tame for The Center that is unlike any other -Sonar helps to locate potential threats and shut down ambushes (much like the parasaur but in water) -night vision prevents the need of gamma adjusting while switching between underwater and on land -chitin farming underwater becomes even easier -"Crushed" effect helps eliminate human threats faster than ever -adds the first new Devonian era creature since Aberration I hope you all consider my creature for the vote, I would love to see this Devonian era shark make its way into the game with some futuristic upgrades. Vote for the Stethacanthuses now! -
In the ragnarok vote my vote went to the miracynonix but i didn’t got mad about the gigantoraptor winning,it was presented in the previous vote but i thought it didn’t matched the map, but ragnarok is ok for the gigantoraptor, i mean a map like the isle or lost island would be better for a dino of that kind in my opinion. But let’s analyse it, The design, the design is just wonderfull in the dossier the creator even showed the cockatoo that inspired it’s design, and cockatoos are simply wonderfull animals i would had prefered a light colored cockatoo for the design but the more darker cockatoo is still wonderfull, the taming method is also amazing is original simple to understand and you can get access to the babies naturaly, the abiliaties are ok if your creature has the size of a rex is already preety good. Final note: i give to the Gigantoraptor a 9. I will talk about the aberration vote winner later.

You might know that recently we had some ark creature votes, each one has a creature that is going to a specific map in Ark survival ascended, recently we had the ark aberration vote so i wanted to discuss the vote winners. The the island vote winner was the Rhyniognatha a big and powerfull arthropod, at first i didn’t liked it but when it’s design in the game was revealed i liked it, so it’s design is ok but what about the taming method and abilities, i think the taming method is ok, not the same as the majority of the creatures but is a bit complex killing one and then going to find another one and then use the pheromone but ok, the abilities of the Rhyniognatha are ossom, it flies it shoots it swims and it has the size of a rex, this is simply wonderfull. Final note: i give the Rhyniognatha a 8.5 I will talk about the other vote winners later

Introduction: ARK: Survival Evolved is a popular open-world survival game that allows players to explore a vast prehistoric landscape filled with a variety of fascinating creatures. The game offers players an immersive experience, presenting them with the opportunity to interact with and tame a diverse range of animals. However, one notable absence from the current roster of creatures is the Sheepshead fish. In this essay, we will discuss why the Sheepshead fish deserves a place in ARK: Survival Evolved and how its inclusion would enhance the game's overall experience. Ecological Diversity: ARK: Survival Evolved prides itself on showcasing a rich ecosystem that mirrors the prehistoric world. Introducing the Sheepshead fish to the game would contribute to this goal by increasing the diversity of marine life. The Sheepshead fish, also known as Archosargus probatocephalus, is a saltwater species found along the coastlines of North America. Its unique appearance and distinct behavior would provide players with a fresh and engaging underwater experience. Realism and Educational Value: Adding the Sheepshead fish to ARK: Survival Evolved aligns with the game's commitment to realism. The inclusion of this species would help educate players about the marine life that existed during prehistoric times. By accurately modeling its appearance, behavior, and habitat, players would have the opportunity to learn more about this fascinating creature. This educational aspect adds depth to the game and can spark curiosity and interest in real-world biology and paleontology. Gameplay Mechanics: The Sheepshead fish possesses several attributes that would make it an interesting addition to the gameplay mechanics of ARK: Survival Evolved. For instance: 3.1. Unique Feeding Mechanism: The Sheepshead fish is known for its distinctive set of teeth, which resemble human molars. These teeth are specifically adapted to crush and grind shellfish, crustaceans, and other hard-bodied prey. Implementing this feeding behavior could introduce a new mechanic to the game, where players would need to find and consume shellfish in order to satisfy the dietary needs of tamed Sheepshead fish. 3.2. Underwater Interaction: ARK: Survival Evolved already offers a diverse range of aquatic creatures, and the Sheepshead fish would further enhance the underwater gameplay. Players could swim alongside these fish, feed them, and even ride them, opening up new possibilities for exploration and transportation in the game's vast oceanic environments. Aesthetics and Customization: The Sheepshead fish possesses a unique appearance that would add visual appeal and aesthetic variety to the game. Its silver-gray body, prominent black stripes, and distinct facial features would make it a visually stunning addition to the existing roster of creatures. Additionally, the game could incorporate a range of color variations, allowing players to customize their tamed Sheepshead fish to suit their preferences. Cultural Significance: The Sheepshead fish holds cultural significance in various coastal communities. It is a popular game fish sought after by anglers, and its inclusion in ARK: Survival Evolved would resonate with players who have a personal connection to this species. Such cultural representation can foster a sense of inclusivity and appeal to a wider audience. Conclusion: The addition of the Sheepshead fish to ARK: Survival Evolved would enhance the game's ecological diversity, provide educational value, introduce new gameplay mechanics, and offer aesthetic customization options. Furthermore, it would contribute to the game's commitment to realism and align with its goal of recreating a prehistoric world filled with diverse and fascinating creatures. By acknowledging the importance of the Sheepshead fish and including it in the game, ARK: Survival Evolved would create a more immersive and engaging experience for players worldwide.

creature vote Cambroraster the fish: creature submission :)
cambrian posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
name cambroraster falcatus time period cambrian temperament neutral diet omnivore abilities none I feel like there are too many animals with gimmicks so I figure we should just add one for ambience. The cambroraster will swim around and is a source of chitin and fish meat but is otherwise useless. This creature should be added because I think it would really stand out from the competition and it is a good looking animal that is not well known and I think ARK: Survival Evolved should really focus on educating the public about prehistoric life as the gamers of today are the scientists of tomorrow. Thank you for reading my submission and I hope you have a good day-
