Instead of having the one dragon boss, there will be multiple, rare tameable dragons, along with the dragon king as the boss, the tameable ones will be able to be fitted with either a regular saddle, or a Tek one, the Tek saddle will have a turret on each side, and the space to walk around a bit inside, being completely protected.
  2. 🐾Banner by Raeph Clark, colored by LitteSpicyOreos and PaulStewart (WORK IN PROGRESS)🐾 🐾Dossier written by Raeph Clark; sketched and inked by LittleSpicy Oreos and Paul Stewart🐾 Common Name: Giant Cheetah Species: Acinonyx pardinensis Time: Early Pleistocene Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Evasive and Opportunistic Wild Acinonyx pardinensis is the epitome of the need for speed. They can turn on a dime thanks to their cleat-like feet, evading any obstacles that lie in their path. They will ambush and chase their prey until they catch up and trip them, stunning them until they go for the kill. Despite being the speed demon that it is, the Acinonyx isn’t the best fighter. In fact, they would rather abandon their meal than have to face any other predator that comes to claim it. But in their wake, they’ll leave a blinding trail of dust that will ensure a clean getaway. Domesticated Acinonyx are quite difficult to tame due to their wariness of predators. Not only that, but their incredible stamina also prevents tranquilizers from slowing them down. However, I have seen other Survivors lay carcasses of creatures out in the open, and if no other predators are around, they’ll come out for a bite. These wonderful cats make for great travel companions. Though not one for confrontation, the Acinonyx has developed a “cat sense” that allows it to evade attacks with ease, if timed right. And with the confidence of their rider, they can even immobilize creatures much larger than themselves by running around them with tethers that wrap around the legs, causing the creatures to trip and fall. I’ve also noticed other Tribes pair their Acinonyx with Dire Wolves. I’ve never seen a cat more comfortable with a canine before, but it seems like the Dire Wolves benefit from the relationship with a boost to their speed. 🐾Art by LittleSpicyOreos and PaulStewart; second image inked by kaiarra and LittleSpicyOreos🐾 Details PVE The fastest land creature on the ARK, even faster than Gallimimus! Can make 90-degree turns without slowing down. Has high stats in Stamina, Speed and very high Torpidity, and average stats in Weight, Melee Damage and Health Can perform a “speed burst” at the cost of using up extra Stamina Has a “cat sense”, allowing it to dodge close-quarters attacks when zooming past; though it must be timed right. Alternatively, you can be immune to stun attacks by creatures such as Microraptors, Purlovia, Baryonyx, etc! Has a tripping mechanic that can immobilize small creatures or Survivors like a bola; shown in the form of a swiping motion similar to the Griffin; can be used while running without slowing down (has a cooldown) Just like the Equus, Survivors can craft a Tether in the Giant Cheetah’s inventory (with the saddle) and run around targets much larger than itself and tie their legs up, immobilizing them for a short period of time. The larger the creature, the more laps you’ll have to run (similar to Pokémon Ranger). Watch out walkers! Can use its momentum and evasive maneuvers to slam into larger targets, reducing their speed significantly (great for catching up to and slowing down wild creatures that are close to being knocked out!) (also has a cooldown) Wild and tamed individuals can immobilize your mount if it is below a certain drag weight, but you won’t be dismounted; wild Giant Cheetahs will flee if down to half health or if larger predators come in the vicinity. Alternative: Wild and tamed can immobilize and knock you off your mount Riding a Giant Cheetah can allow Survivors to lock on to targets as they are running so they don’t miss when shooting with a Crossbow or Longneck Rifle. Will leave a dust cloud in its wake to deter aggressors, leaving them blinded and slowed for a few seconds. Eat my dust! Pairing with Dire Wolves allows them to have a Pack bonus that boosts their Melee, and the Dire Wolves will have a boost to their Speed! Will have an extra imprint bonus if raised with Dire Wolf pups. Saddle has the option to equip webbed mitts that allow traversal across water for a few seconds! Giant Cheetah are resistant to Microraptor knock-offs, so they can swat them away! Can SNUGGLE! 🐾Giant Cheetah Color Region Concept by kaiarra; Color Regions Animation by LittleSpicyOreos🐾 PVP Great for scouting ahead or even catching up to scouts and immobilizing them Can immobilize threats for a short period during raids (see the Tether mechanic in PVE) Can place down explosives like C4 while running (with saddle equipped)! Can pick up dropped bags or items while running for quick “dash and grabs” Can evade attacks when timed right (has a cooldown for balancing) Can boost Direwolf speed if in proximity with their partners! 🐾Art by kaiarra🐾 Taming Remove all threats in the area (mainly aggressive or carnivorous creatures) Kill a creature and drag it out in the open and lie in wait (Ghillie armor works best!) The Giant Cheetah will come out and feed on the carcass, similar to a Fjordhawk. The more bites the more progress it makes! Will flee if another predator approaches. Saddle Can be unlocked at Lvl 60! Can craft a Tether that can immobilize much larger targets by wrapping the tether around them! Can allow dropped bags to be grabbed while on the run! Can drop explosives like Grenades or C4 on the go! Jars of Pitch included! Can harness different powders for different effects! Torch required! Element Dust to charge up dust clouds with an EMP, shorting out electronics! Sparkpowder to set of Flares to disrupt targeting systems of auto turrets and RPGs! Gunpowder to set of explosives! 🐾Saddle Concept by PaulStewart and LittleSpicyOreos🐾 TEK Saddle Grants Giant Cheetah increased Speed and more Stamina! Can create after-images of itself to confuse opponents (like Double Team in Pokémon!) Dust clouds made will include an EMP burst that can mess with electronics and TEK gear and can cause damage! Can strafe and evade in any direction, similar to how Tapejara move! Can traverse across water with ease (Similar to how Rhyniognatha and Bloodstalkers wade!) Can have a speed burst just like the TEK Leggings allow, breaking through rocks and trees with ease! Can slow the Cheetah’s descent while falling, reducing fall damage significantly! 🐾TEK Saddle Concepts by LittleSpicyOreos, kaiarra, PaulStewart🐾 Being the fastest land mammal in modern day, I think the Giant Cheetah would be a prime choice for any biomes with flat terrain and wide-open spaces. Plus, I think we need more cats in ARK, right? Though the Giant Cheetah was slower than modern cheetahs due to their proportional size, we can still imagine this wonderful creature as the fastest thing in the land. The Giant Cheetah can be used for scouting as well as being a fast and annoying distraction in PVP. Like cheetahs today, they could make a 90-degree turn to catch prey off guard and trip them so they can go in for the kill. I also had the fun idea that Survivors can leave behind a grenade, C4 or something (if timed right) once they hit that 90-degree turn. This may have a cooldown after turning several times. The Giant Cheetah could alternatively leave a dust cloud that can blind and slow enemies for a quick getaway. And with a saddle equipped, you can use different powders for different effects! Element Dust to charge the dust cloud with an EMP to short-circuit electronics! Sparkpowder will set off flares and disrupt targeting systems of auto turrets and RPGs! And Gunpowder can be ignited with a Torch to set of explosions! 🐾Art by kaiarra🐾 As mentioned before, the Giant Cheetah will be built for speed, not power. You could chip away at enemies with the bomb run or quick swipes, but it would be preferred that you keep your kitty as alive as possible. Like the Equus, it can make a rope-like Tether that you can hook onto larger creatures and wrap around their legs as you run in laps around them and they will eventually become immobilized, creating a perfect opportunity to tranquilize a fleeing creature or topple a towering opponent. And the larger the creature, the more laps you’ll have to make around the creature. Watch out AT-ATs! And what’s more is that it can have a “cat sense” that’ll allow it to evade enemy attacks with ease (this may have a cooldown as well). And this cat sense also grants the passive ability to be immune to stun attacks from Microraptor, Purlovia, and other stunning creatures on land! And with the regular saddle, you could also pick up items as you pass over them if you enable it for easy grabbing, especially if you’ve died recently and are in dangerous territory and you need to grab your dropped gear as quickly as possible. The Giant Cheetah would be a passive tame. First you should clear the area of any threats, aggressive predators or herbivores, and then kill a creature and drag it out in the open. The bigger the better. Then throw on some Ghillie armor (and maybe Bug Repellant?) and just lie in wait until it comes closer and feasts. The more bites it can take the better. Repeat the process until you've tamed your own Giant Cheetah! 🐾Art by kaiarra🐾 And with it tamed a tamed Acinonyx could receive a pack bonus from nearby Dire Wolves, or better yet, have an imprinted bond with an individual Dire Wolf so it’ll have increased stats with them, making it crucial to breed the best Dire Wolf possible to pair with a recently tamed or bred Giant Cheetah. Just have a Dire Wolf in proximity with the Giant Cheetah and it’ll give the option to pair, or once one is born, it’ll pair with the closest Dire Wolf. And because the Giant Cheetah is faster and may go further than the wolves, its bond range will be larger than other pack bonuses, making it ideal for PVP situations. A tamed Giant Cheetah could also be a great taming mount, having the ability to trip wild or domesticated creatures as if it were a bola. And they can swat away Microraptors passively so you can avoid those pesty knock-offs! And for endgame, a TEK saddle could be given to it that’ll not only make it go faster but give it the capability to strafe and evade with ease in every direction, even make afterimages of itself to confuse enemies. And you can slow your descent when falling to reduce fall damage significantly and can even run and walk across water and speed burst through rocks and trees like TEK leggings! The Giant Cheetah would be found in open areas where there is plenty of room to run around, like the savanna or open plains. They'll go after any creatures that won't fight back, or at least won't hurt it as much. If it takes enough damage, it'll flee. As for design, let’s give it the "King Cheetah" look, a color variant of modern cheetah that features recessive melanistic genes! Also, the cubs look incredibly cute! They chirp like birds and are little balls of fluff! And better yet, adults and babies have the option to snuggle up to you! 🐾"Extinction" Variants by LittleSpicyOreos, PaulStewart🐾 If anyone has any other thoughts, feel free to comment below! 3. (Edit) I wanted to thank everyone for the support that they've shown for my submission idea for Extinction. It was an absolute joy to see how many people ended up liking the idea, more then I thought would! I wish the best to our top 10 contestants, you all have put such amazing work into your submissions! Even if there's only one winner, seeing the creativity of the community is always a blast! Introduction Greetings Survivors! I wanted to explain my process for this submission. I chose the Vulpes Quizhudingu due to Vulpes’ Genus adaptability. I think it's a suitable creature that could possibly find a home in every biome allowing it to be an accessible early/mid-game tame. In essence, it would bring something new to the entire map instead of being constricted to a singular spot. In this design, I wanted to express “sci-fi”. In a similar way to the Gasbag & Snow Owl. It is meant to feel familiar to an earth fox but the Corruption/Obelisk made its evolution alien to our concept of it. Extinction’s Element corrupted its form, mangling it into something more biomechanical. Thus, it possesses unnatural abilities. I drew inspiration from kitsune folklore (tails) to add that fantasy element most extinction creatures have. (Extinct: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vulpes_qiuzhudingi ) Wild In a similar way to the Bubo Chinookus (Snow Owl), the Obelisk seems to have influenced the Vulpes Quizhudingi's evolution and survival. It appears to be an unnatural convergent evolution of the Vulpes genus. It can adapt to any temperature making it the sole creature on the ark that can be found in every biome but the wastelands. While it is a solitary creature by nature, it can be found with a bonded mate and pups. From my time in the field, the Vulpes seem to be a brilliant and inquisitive creature. I have seen them get into an array of amusing situations with Dodos. They don’t seem to hold any initial hostility toward survivors. If threatened, the Vulpes discharges a potent harmful gas from the gland ring around its neck. If the threat doesn’t succumb to the topor, it will relentlessly lash out its tails to knock back and cripple the enemy with the sharpened ray needle tips. Domesticated The Vulpes Qiuzhudingi is a versatile mount. It doesn’t require a saddle to ride and it seems to be able to regulate the survivor’s body temperature in extreme weather. As a land mammal, it can travel at a decent pace for an extended period. Its ability to climb and leap allows it to be an explorer's best friend. While the Vulpes Qiuzhudingi possesses an amount of bulk, it is far more suited for combat support and utility. I have seen survivors coordinate a pack of Vulpes to disrupt enemy formations with noxious gases. Dedicated survivors have managed to make a tek saddle that allows the Vulpes more maneuverability and the ability to drop an array of bombs as it runs around the battlefield. Creature Overview: The Vulpes Quizhudingi is a versatile support/travel mount. While it may be extremely weak in melee damage (10 base damage at lv 1, slow growth), it will make up for it in decent health, good stamina and great speed. Due to its narco berry and stim berry diet, it can be immune to narcotic topor. Finally, It can harvest Narco/Stim Berries, Acerbic/Auric Mushrooms and Meat Coloration (For Breeders) Due to the Vulpes inhabiting multiple biomes, an individual will have a fur pattern that reflects it. Its corrupted coloured veins can potentially be any colour on the spectrum giving a creature more individuality (even if it isn’t reflective of the biome). I’d suggest the corruption can glow in the dark, giving the Vulpes a unique night-time appearance. (Any can interbreed and pass off their colours to their offspring) Snow Biome would reflect the Artic Fox (Quizhudingi descendant) Desert would reflect the Fennec Fox Sanctuary would reflect the Red Fox Sunken Forest would reflect Bat Fox/Silver Fox Examples: More Exotic Corruption Colors: Potential Offensive Abilities: Noxious Gas: The Vulpus “Noxious Gas” is discharged around it. It will remain in place for 5 seconds creating an area of effect. Any non-allied creature trapped within will be slowed and be inflicted with one of the following: Tranquillizer Gas: At the cost of 50 Narcoberries or Acerbic Mushrooms, every enemy creature and survivor without a gas mask will gain a significant amount of torpor. Hallucinogenic Gas: At the cost of 50 Stimberries or Auric Mushrooms, every enemy creature that **isn’t** ridden by the survivor will be stunned for the duration. Any creature ridden by a survivor and any survivors without a gas mask will have their stamina drained by 5%. Aromatic Gas (Optional): At the cost of 30 Giant Bee Honey, every allied creature that can provide a buff such as the Yuty, and healing such as Daedon will have their effects boosted for the duration. The Vulpes “Noxious Gas” is determined by the 1st usable item. For example, if 50 Narcoberries follow 50 Stimberries it will unleash the Tranquilizer Gas. 49 Narcoberries followed by 50 Stimberries will unleash the Hallucinogenic Gas due to not meeting the Tranq Gas requirement. Weakness: To prevent spam, the Vulpes ‘Noxious Gas’ can be activated in 4-second intervals. If a creature exits the gas, the debuffs end. Inspiration: https://allthingsfoxes.com/do-foxes-smell/ Tail Sweep & Tail Tip: Like the “Reaper King”, the Vulpes tail sweeps a complete 360 around itself, knocking back enemies. Furthermore, the corrupted needles at the tip of its tails can be aimed and fired to inflict 3 seconds of bleed. Its long-ranged attack speed can be compared to the Reaper King’s needle attack. Predatory Pounce: A reflection of the Vulpes’ hunting style, it functions identically to a raptor pin. It can hold on and bite down on a creature of its size and smaller. Potential Passive Abilities: Weather Immunity: When riding a Vulpes, the Survivor’s body temperature is stabilized. As a result, it will negate any debuffs from heat/cold. Slow Stamina Drain: The Vulpes is a versatile travel companion able to cross a variety of terrain. It can climb, leap and run without breaking a sweat. However, it doesn’t have fall damage immunity. Reference for the climbing: https://allsouthpestcontrol.com/can-foxes-climb-trees/#:~:text=Just%20like%20in%20the%20canine,and%20bark%20of%20a%20tree Chatty, aren’t you?: Interacting with the Vulpes (press C) while it is unmounted will allow it to vocalize to the survivor, displaying 1 of 3 playful animations. It is a necessity to fill the desperate need for adorable companionship. Optional Idea, Survivor Detection: The Vulpes can detect survivors (alive and corpses) within a radius as long as an implant is in its inventory. Alternatively, it could track down allied tames that may have been lost. In both cases, it will signal by wiggling its ears and highlighting the survivor or tame. (Parasaur-like) Potential Tek Saddle Ability: Charged Jump: At the cost of element, the Vulpes can choose to charge its jump/leap, allowing it to knock back surrounding enemies for a clean getaway. Bombs Away!: The Vulpes’ Tek Saddle possesses a compartment that can store up to 8 ammunition. By pressing B, it will drop a bomb behind it in an attempt to shake off any pursuers. Once no shell remains, it must be manually reloaded. List of items: Grenades, Poison Grenades, Cluster Grenades, C4, Tek Grenades, Tek Gravity Grenades, Glow Sticks, Oil jars, Plant Species Z Fruits Resource Location: (Element Powered, Slow Drain) Accessed by choosing the search option in the radial menu. The Vulpes can use its enhanced biomechanical senses to locate nearby resources and elemental nodes. Once located, it will highlight the location. (Similar to the Parasaur detection radius, but it remains on until you run out of element or turn it off) Mortar Pestle: It can craft Narcotics, Stimulants, Bug Repellant, Lesser Antidotes, Propellant, Sparkpowder & Gunpowder. Taming Method IT IS A PASSIVE TAME. Once the Vulpes notices a survivor, the creature will take a few steps forward towards them. It will let out a curious vocalization. If a survivor chooses to run towards it, it will release a Tranq Gas and run away. If a survivor decides to take out a weapon or run at it with a weapon it will turn aggressive, defending itself. If a survivor walks away from it, it will lose interest and resume its wild behaviour. If a survivor throws any food (a bonus with honey, narco/stim berries, mutton) it will run to eat it. Once fed, the Vulpes will maintain a distance from the survivor. When it vocalizes, feed it. When the taming effectiveness is at 20%, it will follow the survivor and start phase 2. (Phase 2) In intervals, it will bring a resource to you (90% random food items, 9% primitive items, 1% Dodo) and the survivor must take it and offer it food to boost affinity. (Phase 3) At 80% taming progress, a prompt will appear for the survivor to mount the Vulpes. Choosing to mount it will boost 80% to 90% of taming progress. In a similar way to the Equus, its ai will roam independently to the survivor (however, it will attempt to avoid hostiles when possible, choosing to run away). When its tails seem to wag, a prompt to pet it will appear (2% per). It is the shortest phase, due to the Vulpes excitability to have gained a trustworthy friend. Thank you for taking the time to read! I’m open to feedback, but, I want to try to keep a similar concept rolling! A special thank you to my friends, Astergoat and Other Community Members for reviewing/idea-storming on a few abilities! This will be its first and last appearance in the voting submissions.
  4. Latzelia Primordialis - The Living Artillery Cannon So we all know and love (hate) the acid spitting, armor destroying millipede Arthropleura, but now prepare for the new idea of a massive centipede, with the ability to lob exploding acid blobs of many varieties, the Latzelia Primordialis. So the basic idea for this creature submission would be a rather large, lets say around Basilisk sized centipede that resembles a house centipede, just way bigger. Now for the abilities i have thought for this creature: Torpor inducing bite ála Arthropleura Wall climbing, this creature would be the first platform saddled creature to be able to climb walls and ceilings. Though it would be rather slow climber all things considered and the platform isn´t too big. Skipping on water surfaces, similar to the Rhyniognatha or the Bloodstalker, only slower. Faster with the tek saddle equipped, could use the same jet boosts as with the hovering ability (read below). Spitting exploding acid globules, think Arthropleura but bigger in scale and with added AoE, they could use a variety of different ammunition. They also have a gas attack that has different properties depending on the ammunition used. They would have an eerie luminescent glow to their legs and abdomen, changing color based on what they are eating or using as ammunition. If you hade more than one type of ammunition in it´s inventory, you would be able to change them in a command wheel on the go. Oil - Black color: Spit explodes in to oil slicks and gas attack blinds and slows enemies. Low damage. Healing Brew - Red color: Spit explodes in to regenerating area that lingers for a moment, gas attack becomes a healing AoE similar to Daeodon. Deals no damage. Propellant - Orange color: Spit explodes in to sticky flames. Gas attack bursts out flaming gas around it self. Low initial damage, sets things ablaze. Narcotic - Green color: Spit explodes in to a tranquilizing AoE splash. Gas attack works a bit like the gas grenade but with larger AoE. Low damage. Stone - White color: Spits out a goop covered rock, deals concussive damage like a catapult. Can damage up to stone buildings. Medium damage and no gas attack. Ammonite bile - Lime color: Spits out ammonite bile in an explosive glob, blowing up and giving out the ammonite bile debuff in an AoE. Gas attack does the same thing but around the creature. No initial damage. Spoiled meat - Dark green color: Spits out an acidic glob that explodes, dealing high damage to armor durability like arthropleura spit except in AoE. Gas attack does the same thing but around the creature. Medium damage. Organic polymer - Cyan color: Spits out an acidic glob that explodes, dealing less damage to armor durability, but has highest damage of all the natural ammunition types. High damage. Gas attack does the same thing but around the creature, damaging everything around it. As for the stats i would say its on the tankier side, with a good amount of weight for carrying all the ammunition needed, not too fast though. There would be a small platform saddle and a tek saddle. The tek saddle bringing the living artillery to a whole new level with new ammunition types to use along with element and doubling the AoE of the gas attack. The tek saddle also enables small jets from the tips of the creatures armored legs, allowing it to hover down, slowing its fall from high places. This would come in handy when you have to reposition or escape in a pinch. When activating the tek cannon, the creature buries its tek enhanced legs in to the ground, essentially rooting it self in place, enabling the rider with a 360 degrees turning giant tek artillery cannon, similar to the M.S.C.M. for the Meks. Tek ammunition types: 10 x Metal ingots + 1 element: Orange energy color, the cannon shoots a massive slug of molten steel, dealing extremely high concussive damage and being able to damage up to Tek tier buildings. No gas attack. 10 x Propellant + 1 element: Red energy color, the cannon shoots a large fireball or slug that explodes in to a large area dealing medium damage and bursting everything around it in flames. Gas attack bursts flaming gas along with flamethrowers from the tek saddle around the creature, burning everything around it. 10 Crystal + 1 element: White energy color, the cannon shoots a railgun beam similar to the Tek Railgun, dealing higher damage than the Tek Railgun, being able to pierce walls. No gas attack. 10 Biotoxin + 1 element: Blue energy color, the cannon shoots a rather large blue shocking tranquilizer bullet, dealing high torpor damage, some health damage and dealing the Cnidaria shocking debuff. Gas attack deals medium torpor damage and shocks nearby enemies. Taming would require you to feed both the male and female with the food corresponding to the color of their abdomen and legs. The required food is the same as the colors as the ammunition they use. After the initial feeding the creature will hold still for a moment, sort of "chewing" on whatever you fed it, enabling the harvesting of materials from their behinds. They are neutral untill you gather the materials from the rear, turning agressive and using their corresponding gas attack immediately upon gathering. You need to get Latzelia pheromones from the males, and Latzelia eggs from the females. Combining both with a simple rifle bullet in the chemistry bench and use the ammunition to shoot one of your own tames, starting the gestation process. After the gestation is done, the baby creature bursts out similarly to Rhyniognatha. After obtaining both tamed male and female, you´ll be able to gather the pheromones and eggs easier from your own creatures without the fear of being attacked, though with a cooldown between gathering. Dossier: Species: Latzelia Primordialis Time: Diet: Omnivore Temperament: Neutral Wild Latzelia Primordialis only confirms my suspicions about genetic modification done to enhance the creatures of the Arks. These hulking behemoths of a house centipede gone wrong are quite a spectacle to behold. They spend their days searching for food in the wastelands. Being rather omnivorous when it comes to food, they end up ingesting a lot of different materials. The materials they cannot digest are used in self defence however. If provoked they will spit out whatever indegistible garbage that ended up inside them, soaked in centipede digestive juices, enhancing the effectiveness of the projectile. And if that wasn´t enough they can emit a foul gas around them from their bodies that will turn even the hungriest predator around. Domesticated Many tribes want to get their hands on even one of these beasts for obvious reasons. They are adept climbers and can be used as beasts of burden, but the real power resides in their ability to chuck big globs of acid far away, preferrably at an opposing tribe, enhanced by whatever they have in their stomachs. I have even heard of some more technologically advanced tribes mounting giant cannons on the backs of these creatures. To get one of these insects to bend to your will is no easy task though. Requiring you to, for a lack of a better word, "gather" certain ingredients, mainly the pheromones of a male Latzelia Primordialis and an egg from a female. Some tribes have learned that by feeding them different materials would wake up their breeding behaviors, making it possible to grab the aforementioned materials from the behinds of these bugs. Just be carefull as they don´t exactly take kindly to anyone poking around their rears. Once acquired, one would need to inject the egg and pheromones to another living creature to activate the incubation of the egg. Once incubated the newborn larvae will burst out of the poor being, usually killing it in the process. Lastly i would like to say that i am by no means an artist and i am not asking anyone, but if you feel like it, feel free to post a prototype dossier here, along with any suggestions of your own. 5. Shantungosaurus: Are you tired of slow walking sauropods like the titanosaur or bronto holding your mobile base? Do you want to plough through vegetation like nothing, waddle through water with your base, all while also decimating threats? Look no further than the shantungosaurus! This magnificent beast is of the hadrosaur family and comes from the late cretaceous and grew to a stunning height of 6 meters and reached lengths of 16.6 meters weighing 16 tonnes, that’s the weight of 21 cows! They were also THE largest non-sauropod land creature to ever exist. Their size helped them ward off even the largest threats as near nothing matched its immense size and weight. When provoked they stood on their hind legs and ran surprisingly fast for their body structure. In the wild: In tall forest and jungles, the shantungosaurus can be seen grazing in small herds along with their young, chowing down on berries. The shant takes great care in their young protecting them at all costs. When it sees a carnivore around which could endanger its children, the Shant receives a rivalry buff similar to the trike and goes from passive to territorial, attacking carnivores if they get too close. When attacking they stand on their hind legs delivering decimating stomps and tail swipes using their tail, throwing them back only to charge at them dealing more damage. Taming: When taming its general idea to separate the target tame from the herd or massacre the rest leaving the target alone. The shant itself has thick skin making it hard for most projectiles to pierce dealing massively reduced damage, with one exception, the Ballista turret! Once the bolt is coated with narcotics, the tranq bolt becomes the perfect shant tamer. To most other dinos it will deal a lot more damage than torpor but due to the shants thick skin it deals less damage and so more torpor. However, the shant will only gain torpor when shot in the stomach or underside which is easier to shoot while it is on its hind legs, about to attack leaving only a small window to shoot. The shant will continue attacking both the player and the ballista until it reaches a high enough torpor at which it will run, in situations like this, traps or barriers are very helpful. Once knocked out you will not need you to feed it, simply equip a saddle and there you have your shant. Domesticated: The Shant is an enormous beast rivalling the size of even the giga! With its immense size it harbors a great amount of health and weight also having a 15% overall damage reduction and 40% against projectiles. Its massive muscular tail is used to throw enemies, how far they are thrown is dependent on their drag weight where the less drag weight they have the further they are thrown. The Shant has 2 modes or stances, with different attack sets, Quadruped stance, and Biped stance. The quadruped stance is its default stance withal 4 legs on the ground. The Biped stance increases speed, damage output and attack efficiency i.e., tail swipe throws further, at the cost of higher stamina use. As the shant takes damage and its health drops it damage increases proportionally maxing out at 20% health gaining 2x damage. The shant, having massive muscular legs can carry a enormous amount of weight, giving you the option to equip a platform saddle (190 structure limit, also disables bipedal stance), all while being able to travel at half decent speeds. if you don’t want to sacrifice the bipedal stance and turn the shant into an absolute war beast, you can opt for the tek saddle variant which has multiple turrets and slightly reduces stamina use when attacking and traveling. If there is ever any trees or vegetation in the way, simply sprint into them to send them falling. Abilities summary (tamed): · Immense health plus damage reduction · Extra projectile damage reduction · Throwing tail swipe (based on drag weight) · Quadrupedal / Bipedal stance (no platform saddle) · Extra damage the lower the health · Large platform saddle · War tek saddle · Water wading/travel Attacks: Change stance : left ctrl Quadrupedal Stance: 1) Left click = Headbutt: a standard attack that does decent damage and slight knockback. Collects thatch and berries. 2) Right click = Tail swipe: a powerful attack that knocks its opponents far (based on drag weight) 3) Hold Right click = Charge: a short burst of speed that would charge toward a target stunning the target on impact, (with delay to separate tail swipe and charge) 4) C = roar: a loud bellowing call, purely aesthetic 5) X = stomp: a slightly heavier hitting attack that has no knockback. Collects wood and berries in a radius around the dino. Bipedal Stance: 1) Left click = Claw swipe: a standard attack that does good damage with no knockback. Collects thatch and berries. 2) Right click = Tail swipe: a powerful attack that knocks its opponents far (based on drag weight) 3) Hold Right click = Charge: a short burst of speed that would charge toward a target stunning the target on impact, (with delay to separate tail swipe and charge) 4) C = roar: a loud bellowing, purely aesthetic 5) X = Tail Slam: an extremely powerful attack that breaks opponents’ bones and stuns for a short period of time, it sets the dino back to quadruped stance and has a large cooldown, Sorry for no artwork, but here are some images of the shant itself!
  6. Greetings everyone! Just wanted to give a shoutout to all the amazing people for your love and support for this creature! I know many have suggested the Giant Cheetah would be better off on another map other than the Center, and Team Cheetah definitely agrees! That's why we will definitely return for the following maps: EXTINCTION CRYSTAL ISLES VALGUERO GENESIS: PART 2 and maybe FJORDUR if they do one? The reasoning? More wide-open spaces for everyone to run around on! And while this vote carries forward, Team Cheetah is constantly updating and refining our beautiful speedster with the people's suggestions to heart so that it's not just our Giant Cheetah, it's EVERYONE'S Giant Cheetah! Though we may not win this vote, we still have the future to look forward to! And definitely check out everyone else's creatures that they submitted! Seriously! The creators need all the love and support they can get! Not a single person is a village, so let's all make it together to the finish line! Love, the fastest coalition on the planet, -TEAM CHEETAH (PS- FUN FACT! A group of Cheetah's are known as a coalition!) Common Name: Giant Cheetah Species: Acinonyx pardinensis Time: Early Pleistocene Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Evasive and Opportunistic Wild Acinonyx pardinensis is the epitome of the need for speed. There’s also a Tribe that has attached special webbed “mitts” to their Acinonyx that allows them to dash across water, for a brief period. I’ve also noticed other Tribes pair their Acinonyx with Dire Wolves. I’ve never seen a cat more comfortable with a canine before, but it seems like the Dire Wolves benefit from the relationship with a boost to their speed. Details PVE The fastest land creature on the ARK, even faster than Gallimimus! Can make 90-degree turns without slowing down. Has high stats in Stamina, Speed and very high Torpidity, and average stats in Weight, Melee Damage and Health Can perform a “speed burst” at the cost of using up extra Stamina. Has a “cat sense”, allowing it to dodge close-quarters attacks when zooming past; though it must be timed right Has a tripping mechanic that can immobilize small creatures or Survivors like a bola; shown in the form of a swiping motion similar to the Griffin; can be used while running without slowing down (has a cooldown) Just like the Equus, Survivors can craft a Tether in the Giant Cheetah’s inventory and run around targets much larger than itself and tie their legs up, immobilizing them for a short period of time. Will leave a dust cloud in its wake to deter aggressors. Eat my dust! Pairing with Dire Wolves allows them to have a Pack bonus that boosts their Melee, and the Dire Wolves will have a boost to their Speed! Will have an extra imprint bonus if raised with Dire Wolf pups. Saddle has option to equip webbed mitts that allow traversal across water for a few seconds Can SNUGGLE! PVP Great for scouting ahead or even catching up to scouts and immobilizing them Can immobilize threats for a short period during raids (see the Tether mechanic in PVE) Can place down explosives like C4 while running Can pick up dropped bags or items while running for quick “dash and grabs” Can evade attacks when timed right (has a cooldown for balancing) Taming Remove all threats in the area (mainly aggressive or carnivorous creatures) Kill a creature and drag it out in the open and lie in wait (Ghillie armor works best!) The Giant Cheetah will come out and feed on the carcass, similar to a Fjordhawk. The more bites the more progress it makes! Will flee if another predator approaches. TEK Saddle Grants Giant Cheetah increased Speed and more Stamina. Can create after-images of itself to confuse opponents (like Double Team in Pokémon!) Dust clouds made will include an EMP burst that can mess with electronics and TEK gear. Can strafe and evade in any direction, similar to how Tapejara move. Can traverse across water with ease (based on the Jesus-Christ Lizard!) Can have a speed burst just like the TEK Leggings allow, breaking through rocks and trees with ease! Being the fastest land mammal in modern day, I think the Giant Cheetah would be a prime choice for any biomes with flat terrain and wide-open spaces. The Giant Cheetah could alternatively leave a dust cloud that can blind enemies for a quick getaway. As mentioned before, the Giant Cheetah will be built for speed, not power. You could chip away at enemies with the bomb run or quick swipes, but it would be preferred that you keep your kitty as alive as possible. Like the Equus, it can make a rope-like “Tether” that you can hook onto larger creatures and wrap around their legs as you run in laps around them and they will eventually become immobilized, creating a perfect opportunity to tranquilize a fleeing creature or topple a towering opponent. And the larger the creature, the more laps you’ll have to make around the creature. Watch out AT-ATs! And what’s more is that it can have a “cat sense” that’ll allow it to evade enemy attacks with ease (this may have a cooldown as well). You could also pick up items as you pass over them if you enable it for easy grabbing, especially if you’ve died recently and are in dangerous territory and you need to grab your dropped gear as quickly as possible. And with it tamed a tamed Acinonyx could receive a pack bonus from nearby Dire Wolves, or better yet, have an imprinted bond with an individual Dire Wolf so it’ll have increased stats with them, making it crucial to breed the best Dire Wolf possible to pair with a recently tamed or bred Giant Cheetah. (The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden is famous for it's cheetah conservation program and newborn cheetahs are usually paired with a domesticated puppy to help show them the ropes and be a service dog since cheetahs have somewhat similar behaviors to canines! Just like Kris (right) and Remus (left) here!) A tamed Giant Cheetah could also be a great taming mount, giving its rider a lock-on mechanic for easy aiming as well as the ability to trip wild or domesticated creatures as if it were a bola. The saddle also has the option to equip webbed mitts that allow the Giant Cheetah to traverse across water for a few seconds! And for endgame, a Tek saddle could be given to it that’ll not only make it go faster, but give it the capability to strafe and evade with ease in every direction, even make afterimages of itself to confuse enemies. You can even run and walk across water and speed burst through rocks and trees like the TEK leggings! And to top things off, here's a demonstration from the world's fastest cheetah, Sarah, from the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden! If anyone has any other thoughts, feel free to comment below! Also, should we name the Giant Cheetah Acinonyx celeritadaemon (“speed demon” in Latin)? I’ll let you all decide! 7. Towering above the forest, looming over the Arks and high above your head stands Sauroposeidon Omniscience! Often found in small groups of two or three, Sauroposeidon spends its time living in marshy areas with plenty of plants for it to eat. They like to spend their time around trees and water, so swampy areas or other wet places like beaches and lakes are where they will most often be found. Touted as one of the tallest sauropods ever discovered, Sauroposeidon lives up to its name by being a massive animal that makes the largest predators look like compsognathus skittering around below it. Its intimidating stature means that anything in its way is likely to make room, for fear of being crushed in its wake. While not the heaviest of the Arks' titanosaurs, it makes up for its "lighter" status by being much more vigilant to approaching threats. With its towering height, Sauroposeidon is able to see farther than any other land-dwelling creature, which gives it plenty of advantage when it comes to watching out for predators - or survivors. In groups, their ability to see any approaching threat is extended, increasing the radius that they can detect danger. When a Sauroposeidon spots a threat, it bellows out to inform any other nearby creatures to flee (or fight, if they would be neutral to the threat). Considering Sauroposeidon is not the fastest animal, the advantage of knowing exactly where its natural threats are is essential to its survival. While Sauroposeidon can see more than any creature on an Ark, it doesn't exactly see better than anything. Plants and grasses tend to blend together, so Sauroposeidon will see anything that looks like a bush as a bush (ghillie!). If Sauroposeidon has trouble scanning its surrounding with its long neck, it has another tactic for finding any threats. Using a "seismic sonar", Sauroposeidon can use its weight to stomp the ground it stands on, sending out shockwaves that can detect any living thing around it that is moving around on the ground. Sauroposeidon will know exactly what is around it, and exactly where it is at the time the shockwave reached it, as long as it is moving. Anything that is not moving is much harder for the sauropod to notice, and it assumes stationary objects to be rocks or other natural formations. Any creature close to Sauroposeidon when it brings its foot down will be sent flying away a short distance, making it a useful technique not just for surveillance, but also for defense. Any tribe would love to have a Sauroposeidon to keep an eye out for enemies or predators. Taming a Sauroposeidon is a tricky task, as they are constantly on high alert. If a survivor manage to approach one without startling it, they will have to earn its trust by bonding with the giant. Waves of predators (increasing in quantity/difficulty depending on level) will spawn trying to attack Sauroposeidon, and it's up to the survivor(s) to defend the animal. Taming effectiveness is determined by how quickly waves are cleared and how many threats manage to reach the Sauroposeidon. Anything that gets close may be stomped on by the towering titan, so survivors would be wise to clear out any predators quickly, and to steer clear of those tree trunks for legs! Once all the waves are cleared, the taming process is complete. When tamed, Sauroposeidon acts like a sentry array, constantly watching for danger. Survivors will have the option to scan for other creatures, hostile creatures, other survivors, or anything that moves. The benefit of Sauroposeidon's height is that it can track larger, closer creatures most precisely, constantly revealing their position to its tribe (think Tek helmet visor), but anything beyond a certain point will just be marked (Parasaur alarm). Having multiple Sauroposeidon will increase the radius that creatures can be detected, and also slightly improves accuracy. When equipped with a saddle, a small camera will be placed in the muzzle on its head, allowing for a connection to a Tek Surveillance console. This will allow survivors to accurately track anything the Sauroposeidon can see. If equipped with a Tek saddle, Sauroposeidon's threat-detecting abilities are greatly enhanced, allowing it to track all creatures on the Ark (like S+ Transmitter). The Tek saddle has a built-in surveillance console that functions the same as the regular saddle. Sauroposeidon will still have the ability to slam its foot into the ground to send out a seismic wave and detect threats for its allies. The radius of the stomp can be increased by leveling up Sauroposeidon's weight stat. Once a threat has been detected, the tribe can decide through Sauroposeidon's radial menu how they want the situation handled: flee, fight or wait. Sauroposeidon will let out a bellow to whistle groups of the tribe's creatures to take out the threat, run from it, or stand and be ready to fight. While not exactly built for combat, Sauroposeidon is still an enormous animal that can do a lot of damage if it throws its weight around. It's height makes it difficult to do anything with its neck, but its tail can still be swung around to do damage. On top of that, it can use its weight for more than just scanning the ground: one heavy step can do a lot of damage to anything caught underneath of a Sauroposeidon. Anything that survives the crushing force of its foot will be knocked away. (I am not the best artist)
  8. Name: Megistotherium Diet: Carnivore Species: Osteothlastes Time: Early Miocene Temperament: Aggressive Wild: Megistotherium is a group Mammal (and similar to a Dinopithecus group they have babys in their groups).
Megisthotheriums are Aggressive and have an interesting behavior. They hide Stuff wich they hunted. In their hidden stuff are consumables like egg variants and meat variants, 20% Flak Bps chance, saddle Bps (including raw mutton meat and a new bone item wich you get from their hidden stuff) to be found if you find their hidden stuff. The hidden stuff will look like a hidden Purlovia if hidden under a surface. The higher the level of a Megistotherium is the better stuff you get. The hidden stuff will disappear in the wild like a loot drop after some time.
Taming: Like a Carcharodontosaurus you need to give him a corpse and pet him or more to ride it. Then the taming will be like a Equus. Unlike a equus you must feed it meat.
Tamed: If you managed to tame a Megistotherium it will be a strong mammal to ride and to hunt creatures. It will be good for raising Babys, to travel and hiding stuff wich does not disappear when the Megistotherium is tamed(unlike a wild Megistotherium). Abilities: -has a roar which heals your creatures for 20 seconds. a roar for every 5 minutes to have a cooldown
 -can jump like a Shadowmane
-has a group buff
 -Players get cold resistance
-Can hide stuff -he can deal more damage on a Tank creature with the bone crusher effect -rideable -breedable -two characters can ride in one Megistotherium -it have an normal saddle(Tek saddle) with the Tek saddle he can swim like a Megalodon -the Megistotherium is immune to bleeding damage -Has bone crusher effect
With the bone crusher effect a process occurs that can go up to 100%. It depends on how strong the prey is but when Megistotherium bites the prey then the bone crusher effect increases a little if it’s a strong prey or a lot if it’s a rather weaker prey. If the bone crusher effect is at 50% then the prey will be slowed to 35%. If the bone crusher effect is at 100% then the prey will be stopped and the prey cant attack for 10 Seconds.
 -The bone item
the bone item you get from the hidden stuff of a wild Megistotherium is good when it comes to raising babys if you give this bone to a baby creature, it will get a buff. This buff will make the baby grow 20% faster, make the baby starve less and will give the baby 15% more imprint if imprinted. Another way to get the bone item is by building the bone with 5 raw prime meats in Megistotheriums inventory when Megistotherium has it’s saddle on(similar to the equus where you can build lassos with the equus having the saddle on). Since the bone is valuable it takes 1 min minutes to build this item, if you put the bone on a carnivore in its inventory and eat, it takes 30% less damage from other creatures, your carnivore deals 30% more damage to creatures for 5 minutes.
PvP: This creature is good for Hiding some Stuff and defending bases and a tank killer.
PvE: This creature is a great creature to use for traveling and hunting big creatures. It’s also good for raising babys.
  9. They are neutral until you gather the materials from the rear, turning aggressive and using their corresponding gas attack immediately upon gathering. Being rather omnivorous when it comes to food, they end up ingesting a lot of different materials. The materials they cannot digest are used in self defense however. If provoked they will spit out whatever indigestible garbage that ended up inside them, soaked in centipede digestive juices, enhancing the effectiveness of the projectile. And if that wasn´t enough they can emit a foul gas around them from their bodies that will turn even the hungriest predator around. Domesticated Many tribes want to get their hands on even one of these beasts for obvious reasons. They are adept climbers and can be used as beasts of burden, but the real power resides in their ability to chuck big globs of acid far away, preferably at an opposing tribe, enhanced by whatever they have in their stomachs. Just be careful as they don´t exactly take kindly to anyone poking around their rears. 10. IMPORTANT NOTE: I have removed the Miracinonyx from the Aberration creature votes. Why? Well, mainly because I am also the creator of the Ornimegalonyx (the Giant Flightless Owl). Both the owl and the cheetah were in top ten, and I couldn't help but to feel it was unfair that both my submissions were taking the top spots. This does not mean the cheetah is gone forever. It will return for The Center and Valguero votes. The Miracinonyx returns from the Ragnarok Creature Votes! This fast feline was originally created to traverse the varied terrain of Ragnarok's rugged landscape, but the cavernous depths of Aberration could also see fit for it. At a design standpoint, The Miracinonyx dares to be the fastest sprinter in the whole game - even surpassing the Managarmr. If you enjoy spawning creatures on singleplayer and maximizing their movement speed just for the fun of racing around, then the Miracinonyx is a mount that will capture every essence of that thrill and dial it up to an unimaginable velocity, all while retaining viability in PvP thanks to its potent area denial abilities. Autonomous obstacle-dodging and speedy climbing make it fit to thrive in Aberration's crowded caverns, while its ability to instantly deploy traps and hazards off its back make it a powerful threat in either a chase or a battle. Additionally, a few of its previous abilities have been reworked to be more in-line with Aberration. The Rock Drake may be Aberration's prime mount for airborne travel, but the Miracinonyx is sure to be the prime mount for grounded travel. New Artwork: Old Artworks: Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Rideable: Yes (saddle optional) What does it excel at? SPEED. Behold, the fastest creature the Ice Age has ever seen. The Miracinonyx is a lightly-built predator that can gather meat and hide in a pinch - but that's not its selling point. What makes this creature truly special is its fantastic stamina, impeccable turning radius, and PHENOMENAL agility. It can easily race amongst the fastest DLC creatures. But such speed comes with a concern: how can you even control where you are going without bumping into objects? When mounted, a toggleable mobility mode allows the Miracinonyx to autonomously swerve around obstacles, such as rocks, deep water, trees, and even other creatures! Think of it like a more complex version of the TEK Skiff's Autonomous Hover mode (yes, there are examples of simple smart pathing that already exist in the game - and ASA may improve it even further). This would allow survivors to move at ridiculous speeds through the densest forest floors without the inconvenience of getting snagged on a tree trunk or rock. The Miracinonyx will do the dodging for you, so your focus is free to do other things, like checking your GPS or map. It also has a pretty sizeable jump! However, for as long as the toggle is on, the Miracinonyx won't be able to climb. You'll need to toggle it off to do that. Climbing with the Miracinonyx isn't identical to the Rock Drake. In order for the Miracinonyx to climb upwards, it first needs to build up a good amount of acceleration. Back up a bit to prep some speed, then zoom forwards and rush up the cliff face before your lose your momentum to gravity! (Fun Fact: During the Ragnarok votes, this climbing ability was pretty much identical to that of the Rock Drake's. But since this is a map where the Rock Drake lives, I figured I needed to change it) You'll also be able to climb up and down vines/ziplines as an option. Undoubtedly, this is a mount designed for travel. But it also has a combative side (apart from its bites, that is). When equipped with a canister-loaded saddle, the Miracinonyx is capable of spewing a trail of irradiating gas wherever it runs, coating the battlefield into a noxious hazard. Deny swaths of area from your opponent! Congealed gas balls are used to fuel this gaseous trail. For a more solid approach at area denial, try the TEK Saddle, which will leave behind a trail of physical barriers as you run forwards, as well as allow the Miracinonyx to sprint across the surface of water! Additionally, any deployable traps or weapons that the survivor may have in their inventory can be thrown on the run, Mario Kart-style. Explosives such as grenades, plant species Z fruit, etc. can be tossed in front or behind you as you run, while traps such as bear traps, plant Y species, etc. are instantly ready the moment they hit the ground. Zip by your foes and toss a ̶b̶a̶n̶a̶n̶a̶ ̶p̶e̶e̶l̶ bear trap right under their feet! ... But if you're ever in the mood for a more direct approach of damage, there's nothing stopping you from using guns while mounted on the Miracinonyx! You've got to be one impressive sniper if you can pick off a target while moving at such high speed. And lastly - cuddle buffs! (This was a pretty humorous suggestion from the previous voting round that I just absolutely had to add in) Give some nice pats to your Miracinonyx and gain a temporary boost to insulation. What is it weak to?: - Turrets. Their lock-on accuracy will whittle down the Miracinonyx's frail health pool in a flash. Be careful around enemy bases with it. - Traps set by enemies. Despite being a trap setter itself, the Miracinonyx's smart pathing won't detect traps, so it might run directly into one. - Somewhat low weight. It's not terrible, but don't expect it to carry around your stacks of stone. - Inadequate bite damage. It is not designed for DPS. How do you tame it?: The Miracinonyx is not tamed by conventional methods. Baby Miracinonyx are often found hiding in bushes or tight corners in the wild, shy of everything that wanders by. Survivors must approach carefully, and repeatedly feed it meat to gain its trust. But beware, for if it were to be startled, its nearby parents will immediately attack anything responsible for startling it. If you do manage tame it, the baby will be imprinted to you, and must be raised from there on. But alas, even when in the safety of human care, the baby Miracinonyx remains an incredibly nervous creature. You won't be able to complete the imprinting process by yourself. In order to give your Miracinonyx the full enrichment it deserves, pair it with a "companion dog" (Like a Direwolf, Ravager, or other similarly-sized creature). Much like how real cheetahs are raised in captivity, this companion will help you get the full imprint potential out of your baby. Open to suggestions! Feel free to comment your own ideas. And of course, thank you for reading. I originally had no plans to resubmit the Miracinonyx past the Ragnarok votes, and instead began working on another creature in preparation for Aberration (the Ornimegalonyx). But after seeing the Miracinonyx arrive at 2nd place (just inching behind the Gigantoraptor) I decided to put effort into making new artwork for it. For those who had supported the Miracinonyx beforehand, thank you. Perhaps if it happened to reach 2nd place again, Wildcard may be grateful enough to add it in like they had done with the Carchadontosaurus' instance.
  11. The reaper assassin is an elongated stalky reaper male, they are extremely skinny and are lighter than a reaper king. they have patrol zones in the red and blue zone. A scythe blade at the end of its tail and dagger like claws on its front arms, it is capable of climbing walls, and can go invisible. able to perform devestating stealth strikes dealing thousands of damage in a single blow if launched at a target while climbing and invisible, did i mention it can go invisible. A tek saddle giving it teleportation, a laser scythe that grows larger with each consecutive hit. It is capable of going on 2 legs to use its front claws, which apply acid burn to anything hit. However unlike other reapers, they only get a 25% damage reduction in the absence of charge light, they also require a saddle to ride. To obtain one you must kill a wild one and get their trophy item, their scythe blade. This can be combined with a pheromone gland in a chem bench to make a special item which i have not named that can be consumed when you have all 75 levels on a max level reaper king embryo. this will convert the embryo to an assassin, in which you will need to get every single level from level 1 to the max a reaper king can get for a successful birth. Their saddle is unlocked at level 100 and their tek saddle unlocked by defeating alpha rockwell. I have no plans of getting art sadly. In terms of stats they would have incredibly high base damage(under the right conditions highest dps of any dino), health comparable to a spino, speed of a rock drake. In the wild they are much stronger and have massive aggro but will never leave their patrol zones, they will not bother you if you are accompanied by a reaper of some sort. Charge makes them hit harder. Good luck.
  12. Cave Lion. Also known as the Eurasian cave Lion, it is an extinct Panthera species. It likely evolved in Europe after the third Cromerian interracial stage, which was less than 600,000 years ago. It became extinct about 13,000 years ago. I ran out of time so I didn't get the dossier finished or what the female Lion, or tek saddle would look like but here is what I have for my suggestion. Dossier info: The cyan like stripes are meant to be like the aberrant glow that's seen on the Aberration creatures. Taming; This creature can only be tamed by stealing the baby away from its parents. Either by killing or luring the parents away will make the baby tameable. The baby cave Lion will run from you at first meaning you will need to sneak up on it to feed it, once taming is half way you will gain its trust and it will no longer run away from you. While taming the baby’s maturation will be in stasis until it is tamed, its preferred food is cooked mutton, or extraordinary kibble. The baby cave lion's level will be based off of the parents. Breeding; The cave Lion can be bred like any normal mammal creature, giving a live birth. Rideable; While this creature is rideable it will require a saddle. This creature comes with two options for a saddle. The first saddle is a simple primitive like saddle, the second saddle once unlocked is a Tek saddle needing element shards to shoot from either mini gun that positioned on either side of its shoulders. Abilities This creature has a bleed ability. Male cave lions have the ability to roar which can cause a player to be dismounted as though the creature that was being ridden had bucked the player off out of fear. Players have a chance of being stunned, this ability has a cool down. This ability will not work on large creatures. Female cave lions can pounce, and pinned down their prey similar to a thylacoleo except they don’t need to hide in the trees. Photos from the web.
  13. Factual context My submission is the boverisuchus, which is a crocodile that was like 7 feet long or so. They stand out as having modified claws that resemble hooves. these hooves show it ran around on land wand was more of a dinosaur then a croc. capable of galloping around and some scientists believe it could walk on its hind legs. the wiki doesnt say anything about this but if u look almost anywhere else theres talk about debate on whether it was fully bipedal, more of a hadrosaur's bipedal/quadraped nature, or if it was just a quadroped. I first learned about this guy in a Trey the Explainer video on YT, and thats where alot of my knowledge on this guy comes from. search it up if you want, its like a 30 minute video. (for those that have no clue what im talking about: bipedal: walk on 2 limbs, quadroped: walk on 4 limbs). I personally think in the middle is where it should go, ill explain once i get to my actual submission. and one last thing is its believed to be very heavily armored but no osteoderms ( those bony nobs that modern crocs have on their backs). so just soe really think scales and hhide. disclaimer: we have no clue what wildcard are gonna make this thing do, this idea may or may not be what comes to the game. This disclaimer can apply to all submissions, so just because i put it here doesnt mean it only affects boverisuchus, but also everyother submission, just wanna put this out here. My idea: to start off heres my idea, boverisuchus isnt massive but still noticably larger than a kapro (maybe 1.5 - 2x, what ever the diffference is between a kentro and a stego is). boverisuchus is also noticably bulkier, butnot too ft like a trike is where it has significantly less movement speed, remember this thing could gallop. this and its tough hide make it able to tank hits for a while. I dont believe boverisuchus would be able to run around its day to day life as a bipedal beast. It would tip over, imagine walking around hunched over with your arms almost touching the groudn the whole day, not doable. boverisuchus is able to support its elf on its hind legs while running, doing its charge/ naruto run. when it runs into an enemy it can slash at the enemy with its teeth and hooves to tear the skin open and inflict a bleed. I also believe it should have an option to do a pounce once it gets to its enemy, doing a stun and i would like to see soem sort of animation sequence involving kockout animations. where it falls down and gets back up. now for the part wildcard might not keep, we ready? i think it should have a turret saddle. the turret would not be a set turret type. you could fit it with any firearm, or one of the actual turrets. im not gonna go into full technicality because i believe that would make it be even more likely it wont make the cut. but heres the basics: weapon damage is determined my the actual guns damage, doing the same it normally would. turrets damage would be defined by saddles damage multiplier. (a 25% normal saddle u crafted in the smithy or wherever would do 25% of the turrets normal damage, a 100% damage saddle would do normal base turret damage. alright technicality aside, now lets move onto the part i dont think will mkae it. TEK saddle, tek saddle comes auto equipted with a tek cannon, does a little mor edamage output tthan a tek rifle. this saddle cannot have its turret swapped, if u want to swap guns you need the normal saddle. these are like meks, the normal ones can have their mounted weapons interchanged, the mega mek cant. This creature was designed for extinction, and the OSDs but im giving it a shot on abb, maybe it can build up a fan base here like the carch did, well see. excited to see the communities reaction to this. the whole concept was designed for extinction but i think it could fit well with abberation. personally think the massive dung beatles that weve had in all the previous votes fit abb, but no one knows how this is gona turn out. i see this as contending with your rock drake as the creature you rockwell on. while I dont see the turret thing coming to the game, ive made almost all my ideas (not the turret thing) based on factual info on what this thing could probably do. realsiticly this isnt gonna be the 2.2-2.6 meters the wiki says it is. but I really think htis is a unique creature that we should atleast consider. now i need to save all of this and revise it for extinction. TLDR: bipedal boi, bout 1.75x bigger than a kapro, does bipedal naruto run chartge that either stuns enemy or bleeds it, hooves not claws, thick armor and health pool, turret saddle, turret cn be interchanged similar to a meks, can hold guns or actual turrets. tek saddle with a stronger version of the tek rifle. Think htats all lets see if i forgot anything or if someoen suggest somethign
