  1. Dear survivors! Don't you want to ride a pterosaur that is good at fighting and can collect trees, and can further strengthen pterosaurs? I thought this Caiajara was attractive and suggested it! It seems that Caiuajara lived in Brazil in the late Cretaceous period. If you land on the world of ARK, I want it to be this big compared to Survivor. wild Caiuajara lives mainly in the sanctuary, but sometimes it can be seen in other areas. They are ferocious in the wild and actively attack medium and small creatures. However, large creatures will not be attacked by themselves. However, if they are attacked by their opponents, they will fight back regardless of their size. Taming Caiuajara can be tamed in a special way. First of all, please prepare one of Pteranodon, Tapejara, or Tropeognathus. It can't be more than one. When you get on the prepared creature and get close to them, they will temporarily increase the movement speed of the creature. In this state, the chase in the air begins. At this time, if you are attacked more than 10 times, you will have to start over from the beginning. If they are being chased for a while without being attacked too much, they will temporarily follow the creature after admitting their speed. At this time, if you are enjoying air travel together for a while without sprinting, the gauge will progress and finally the tame will be completed. After taming Caiuajara can ride by attaching a saddle. Of course, it is also possible to fly freely in the air. Left click : Bite Their attack power and attack speed are almost the same as Raptor. Right Click : Crest Axe Shake down the Crest vigorously, cut the opponent and attack. This attack is more powerful than Bite, and the attack speed is slow. In addition, this attack can make the opponent bleed lightly. It is also possible to collect wood, and you can get a lot of Hide. C key:Grab it It can only be used when they are flying. The range they can grasp is the same as Argentavis. passive ability First of all, they can reduce the weight of wood and Hides to a quarter. In addition, it is possible to greatly increase the attack power, attack speed, movement speed, and defense power of the pterosaurs around them, and their natural resilience is also increased. This effect can be received by Caiuajara itself, but it will not be superimposed. lastly If you think this creature is attractive, please vote! Also, if you have any questions, please leave a comment! From here on, it's an explanation for Japanese people.

  3. THE BIG DOG IS BACK Name - Amphicyon Monsthorax Period - Miocene Diet - Carnivore Temperament - Aggressive DOSSIER - WILD Found within the highest mountains and coldeat caverns of the ARK, Amphicyon Monsthorax is a colossal canine, a mix of Dire Bear and Dire Wolf with qualities both combining and separating itself from its close cousins. Its limbs are incredibly strong and thick, able to leap incredible distances and pin down its prey, only to rip them apart with its powerful jaws, having a particularly gruesome habit of coating its face with blood. This, subsequently sends it into an aggressive frenzy and scaring away anything smaller than it that would seek a fight. It's incapable of climbing due to its shortened claws, but it displays impressive ability in scaling walls with jumps, though young Amphicyon or unskilled riders may quickly find themselves scrambling for leverage if they move sloppily on steep mountain faces or walls. DOMESTICATED Taming Amphicyon is no small task. Their thick, shaggy fur makes tranquilizers pretty much unusable, but their aggression is far too high for a passive tame, especially in their Bloodlusted state. That is, unless the Amphicyon is hungry. Much like the ancient canines of our time, you must gain a starving Amphicyon's trust with feeding it meat, and ideally, said meat will be drugged to knock it unconscious, for a safe taming experience. When tamed, they make for a nigh unparalleled travel mount, capable of scaling any mountain with their powerful jumps. Their pelt simultaneously provides insulation from the harsh cold of the mountains, and is able to naturally protect it from projectiles, though explosives and fire are able to bypass this protection. Their thick forelimbs also allow them to pin down any unsuspecting prey, be it man or beast, before then being subject to being ripped apart by the Amphicyon or even shot at from a skilled rider, allowing them to become even more fierce for whatever battle comes next. MECHANICS - Standing at a size rivaling the Andrewsarchus, the Amphicyon is a colossal relative of the Direwolf, aptly nicknamed Bear-Wolf for its massive stature and thick claws and arms. They're found in the absolute coldest norths of The Center, in the Tundra, mountains and Edge of the World zones, feasting on Mammoths, Rhinos, and even other wolves. Living in such intense cold has allowed their fur to grow incredibly thick, stopping any tranquilizer from penetrating their flesh and reducing incoming damage from bullets, though explosives like rockets and grenades, as well as flamethrowers, flame arrows, and oil jars, are still able to cause significant damage. They're naturally aggressive, attacking pretty much anything in their area and boasting the ability to pin down creatures smaller than them, including Raptors, Carnos, and even small fliers like Pteranodon and Tapejara. This also allows them to dismount riders. When pinned, the Amphicyon will bite down on its prey, causing significant damage. Players are able to escape by attacking it with a firearm or net launcher, but any other melee attacks will do very little thanks to its thick fur. Creatures are unable to escape from a pin, however the pin will end after around 30 seconds, allowing the creature to escape so long as it has sufficient health. In the wild, Amphicyon have a natural hunger meter that is refilled by eating corpses. When an Amphicyon hasn't eaten in some time, it will enter a starving state, indicated by slobber coming from its mouth and a significant debuff to its speed. When starving, the Amphicyon is significantly more aggressive to mid-sized animals, but less aggressive to players and smaller creatures. In order to tame a wild Amphicyon, you have to insert a Narotic into a wild corpse, drugging the meat, before then dragging the corpse towards Amphicyon. It will slowly approach and eventually eat the corpse, and when consumed, it will then start to follow you. You then have to either kill a new creature and repeat the process, or feed it the next corpse you have. Eventually, the drugs will kick in and the Amphichyon will be knocked unconscious, allowing for the usual ko-and-feed tame. When tamed, the Amphicyon is a jack of all trades for solo players and nomadic tribes. Boasting impressive attack, a natural resistance to most incoming damage, and incredible mobility, it'll be a premier travel mount for the most dangerous areas in Ragnarok. It boasts natural insulation from cold, though not from heat, and a somewhat impressive weight stat for carrying items across long distances. Like its cousin, the Dire Bear, it has the ability to pick up speed over the course of a sprint, though it suffers the same drawback of being unable to retain said speed when turning. This is, however, made up for in its incredible jumping ability, able to scale impressive heights in one leap, or jumping from wall to wall to effortlessly scale even the tallest mountains. However, when jumping from wall to wall, you must be quick and keep your momentum, otherwise the Amphicyon will begin to rapidly descend due to its small claws' lack of grip. Thankfully, its habit of high jumps gives it significantly reduced fall damage even from particularly steep heights. It's a poor swimmer due to its weight, and should ideally never be put anywhere near water. While lacking in the Dire Wolf's ability to hunt in packs and gain buffs from its packmates, it instead is able to let out a confidence-boosting howl to increase the defense of its teammates, allowing it to also act as a durable support mount in large-scale battles. Lastly, the Amphicyon is able to use its massive forelimbs to pin down smaller animals. When it attacks a pinned creature, it will become coated in blood, and gain the Bloodlust effect. Bloodlust, similar to the Carcharodontosaurus's Bloodrage, is a buff that gives the Bear-Wolf increased damage, but the blood also causes nearby smaller creatures to be intimidated, reducing their damage, and ensuring that trying to outmaneuver or flank an Amphicyon may end poorly for the recipient. It can be refilled by pinning down and attacking another creature, and will gain extra time if eating a corpse. CONTROLS - Left Click/Primary Attack - A traditional bite attack. When standing still, this attack is quicker, able to string together powerful knockback-inducing paw slaps with bites. When running, it can only bite, but it gains the ability to lunge in the opposite direction similar to the Sarco if the player is facing the opposite direction, handy for gaining the upper hand on more mobile opponents or escaping a fight it may not be to win. Right Click/Secondary Attack - A large paw slam, which pins down any small creature in front of it. Creatures its size or larger will instead be knocked back, though creatures above a certain size threshold are instead immune to the knockback effects. When held down, it becomes a straightforward lunge, pinning down anything caught in its way. This will then allow the Amphicyon to bite down and gain the Bloodlust effect. C/Tertiary Attack - The Amphicyon howls, increasing its allies' vigor and boosting their defense for a set amount of time, which can be reset with each howl. While not as strong of a buff as a Yutyrannus, Shadowmane, or Carcharodontosaurus, it is able to move while howling, allowing for the howl to be provided to allies further away. Space/Jump - Like the Karkinos, Procoptodon, and Shadowmane, the Amphicyon is capable of long-distance jumps by holding down the jump button, and boasts the unique capabiltiy of wall-jumping, chaining jumps from one wall to another, allowing for scaling of particularly large and complex bases, or the large mountains it calls home. As well, when mid-air, it can also decide to divebomb onto a creature beneath it, allowing it to lead straight into a pin on smaller creatures, or doing impressive damage on creatures its size or larger. UTILITY - PvE - Amphicyon, while not as agile as something like a Dire Wolf or Raptor, is nevertheless an incredibly valuable travel mount. Between their power, speed, jump heights,, impressive weight stat, and ability to support teammates, it works as an invaluable member of any caravan or slow traveling party, so long as you keep them away from the water. PvP - It works equally as well as a proper war mount. While lacking a pack mechanic, they work excellently in picking off smaller and more agile mounts thanks to their Bloodlust mechanic, pin and overall bulk, as well as their ability to turn on the spot and jump out of any conflict that becomes too dangerous. As well, their supporting howl can be used in large armies in conjuction with a Yutyrannus to further boost a tribe's war mounts and boss fighters. WEAKNESSES - The main turn-off for most when taming an Amphicyon is simply its habitat. It lives in intense, harsh climates rife with predators, so you have to be truly dedicated and sure that you want it before making the trek, though particularly capable players are likely able to lure it into more temperate climates safely. As a tame, Amphicyon is a jack of all trades, but a master of none. It lacks the speed of a Dire Bear or Andrewsarchus due to its increased bulk, but also lacks both of their impressive weight-carrying abilities. It can't reach the same heights as a Procoptodon, and it isn't as capable of climbing sheer cliffs as a Thylacoleo or Megalania, but it nevertheless utilizes each of their abilities in its own unique way. It has many tools to punish greedy mobile mounts, but it struggles with quick turns and running from fights, meaning it's best to avoid contact with larger creatures like Rexes or Rhynios.
  4. This creature, the Cretoprocirrus, is my suggestion for Aberration. Me and a friend have been working on this concept, and we hope that it does well in the voting. Cretoprocirrus is an extinct rove beetle that evolved during the late cretaceous and was in existence for millions of years during and after that time. Modern day Rove Beetles are able to expel a harmful gas at any possible predators or prey, and it is assumed that the Cretoprocirrus could do the same. Also, scientific studies have shown that the mandibles of some of these prehistoric beetles were lined with zinc and other metals. In Ark, the mutation from the element would have taken these abilities to the extreme. Our concept is that this insect could be used for traversing aberration, stealing rock drake eggs more easily, and possibly even having a support role when fighting bosses. Also, while almost all biomes on Aberration have certain species native to them, the only thing unique to the surface is a few variants of reapers. The Cretoprocirrus would spawn almost exclusively on the surface, making it one of the first creatures to do so. The traits and appearance of this beetle will make it a good fit for Ark Aberration. This Species would move slightly faster then a player, be slightly larger then a Carno(around 12 meters or 40 feet). The glowing blood and gas that it has inside of it would make its veins glow with a bright color (Red, Blue, Green, or Purple) Other then this, this creature would be mostly black with a shiny shell and little color variation between color regions, although it would still have some. It would also have a very small turning radius. Dossier- Species: Cretoprocirrus Venenemfumi Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivorous Temperament: Opportunistic Wild Once dotting the swamps on the surface of Aberration, the Cretoprocirrus Veneneumfumi has since retreated to the smaller caves on the surface after this Ark's collapse. What was once already a human-sized beetle has grown far larger then it should have been capable of, and it has become an elusive but deadly predator on the desolate surface. While it hides out of sight all day because of the scorching heat and radiation, this insect emerges at night to scavenge and hunt injured prey. Like modern day Rove Beetles, the Cretoprocirrus is able to expel a dangerous gas from its abdomen to aid in combat. There are multiple effects of this gas, all depending on the type of creature that the beetle has eaten beforehand. Perhaps even more dangerous than this is that its element-infused mandibles are able destroy all but the strongest of structures and can cause bleeding and diseases. However, the thing I find most interesting about this bug is its lifecycle. While being an extremely rare sight, some survivors have reported seeing adult Cretoprocirrus raid Rock Drake nests and carry their young to the eggs, which the larva will then burrow into and feed on the nutrients inside. Unfortunate people have tried to hatch these eggs and find a smaller version of this sinister threat inside. Once escaping the egg, the beetle then moves to the surface where it begins the rest of it's life. Domesticated While it could be tamed, domesticating a Cretoprocirrus is a dangerous and possibly lethal challenge. The first part of this task is to make it to the surface and a Cretoprocirrus, which is a difficult thing to do on its own. Next, this beast must be forced to panic before it attacks you. As this beetle is terrified of the light due to it living on the surface, seeds from a rare plant that emit light work very effectively. Once weakened, the insect must be fought. They must be damaged to a very specific level of health, so the attempts at using extremely powerful creatures will almost always end in the Cretoprocirrus being to critically injured or dead. Due to this, it is recommended, although dangerous, to fight it on foot. Be careful not to let it attack you because it could cause major damage, as well as helping it regain health faster. Once tamed, this amazing bug is capable of impressive feats. First of all, it's able to use different types of gas that is converted from the type of blood of the creatures it eats. For example, creatures with normal blood help the Cretoprocirrus shoot clouds of healing gas that regenerate wounds on both other creatures and itself. Species with highly acidic blood, like insects, reapers, and other animals, will allow it to expel an acidic spray that can do a lot of damage, to both creatures and structures. There are many abilities the beetle can gain, and that combined with the fact that it can store all gas types at once makes the possibilities endless! In addition to its gas, the Cretoprocirrus can bite through nearly any building, and it can cut through any material with decent efficiency thanks to its Element-infused jaws. Finally, due to maturing inside of a Rock Drake egg, this bug is even able to see through camouflage. These traits make the risk of venturing to tame a Cretoprocirrus well worth the reward. So overall, this beetle would have several unique abilities. Its Bite can harvest all materials with an efficiency about twice as good as a pick, hatchet, or sickle. It can see through camouflaged creatures, making stealing rock drake eggs much easier. It also has multiple gas abilities based on the blood of the creatures it eats, as shown below. Red/Normal-Healing clouds shot from the beetle's mouth that heal all allied tames and players in the cloud by 1% of max health per second. The cloud lasts for 1 minute and has a 2 minute cooldown. The cloud has a large radius and Costs 20% Blood. Green/Acidic-Acidic spray shot from its abdomen that does damage to creatures and buildings that scales with melee damage. Lasts for 15 seconds and has a thirty second cooldown. It also slows creatures down to about half their speed. Costs 10% Blood. Blue-this type of blood activates the gas sprayers in the legs of the beetle, allowing it to rocket into the air and glide down slightly faster then a parachute by using its wings. This creature cannot fly, as to fit with the theme of the map, so my explanation for this is that its body is too heavy for its wings to carry due to element mutation. Has a thirty second cooldown. Costs 12.5% blood. Element-Infused-This type of blood only comes from creatures, or the boss itself in the Rockwell arena during the boss fight, but if the Cretoprocirrus gets a few hits in, it can become twice as power(multiplies all stats by 2) as long as it has some of this blood in it. This constantly drains, but damaging or killing more creature in the arena replenishes it. Costs .5% blood per second. These four abilities can all be stored in the creature at once, and can all be used by switching to them in a new icon on the HUD. This icon will show the percentage of blood storage the beetle has full. Creatures damaged will increase the respective blood types by about .2%-1% per hit depending on size, and creatures killed will increase it by about 1%-5% depending on size. In Addition to these abilities, the normal bite attack costs a bleed that lasts for 5 seconds and drains 1% health per second. Does not work on alphas or bosses for balancing reasons. If used on players, it has a 25% chance of inflicting mega rabies. However, this creature is not breedable. The Cretoprocirrus can also climb walls, although not quickly and it comes at a cost of stamina. Plant Species Z fruit will cause wild Cretoprocirrus to panic and run away. Wild Cretoprocirrus usually spawn in by themselves, but can rarely spawn in groups of two or three on the surface. They drop raw meat, raw prime meat, hide, and a very large amount of chitin. One final ability this creature has is a 50% weight reduction on all meat types and hide. The saddle would be unlocked in the mid 60's to 70's levels and can hold one player. However, the player is able to use tools and weapons when on the saddle. The saddle would be metallic (not tek) and not hide like most saddles in the game. These insects cannot be carried and are only affected by chain bolas and large bear traps. Finally, instead of Rock Drakes, Wild young Cretoprocirrus can emerge instead when the eggs are hatched. They are extremly fast and aggressive, but only about as strong as a raptor. These are untamable, and their chances of hatching instead of a drake are only about 10%. Stats- Health-around 7000 at max level Stamina-Around 2000 at max level Oxygen-around 1000 at max level Food-around 10000 at max level Weight-Around 1200 at max level Melee damage at 100%=around 50 Overall, this creature is about as strong as a rex. Controls- Main attack-bite secondary attack-gas attack C or R3-Swith gas attack normal controls for all other movement and sprinting Well, that's it for the cretoprocirrus. A giant rove beetle fits the vibe of the map well, and I think that it would be a great addition to the game with its abilities, features, and environment. Hopefully this does well with voting and people like this suggestion. I'm not sure if it would be good for PVP or not, and I'm hoping that its balanced enough, but hopefully it can do its intended purposes well if it was added into the game. Any ideas, feedback, or constructive criticism is welcome. We'll see how Cretoprocirrus Venenumfumi does in the vote! 5. Common Name: Edmontosaurus Species: Edmontosaurus annectens Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Territorial Wild: "When I first saw this colossal herbivore, I thought it was a gentle animal. But that's not the case with Edmontosaurus. This creature usually goes in small herds of 4 individuals and at least one member of the group is a baby. For this reason, adults show extremely territorial behavior against any possible threat. Even if you are a newly arrived survivor! The Edmontosaurus on this ark have evolved by developing a complex bioluminescent system. When their body does not generate light, it means that they are calm while walking through the mushroom forests. But as soon as the light on their bodies turns red, it is a warning sign because they feel threatened and could soon respond aggressively." Domesticated: "Some survivors discovered that the Edmontosaurus's diet can affect its bioluminescence. By consuming any type of mushroom, it is capable of releasing certain spores around it and allowing the creature to use abilities that in the wild it would not be able to. Any ally within his radius will be under a healing or lighting effect, depending on what their tamer decides. Allied dinos recover their health faster and the nameless don't even dare to come to the surface with Edmontosaurus present! There is also a third ability that the creature can use once it consumes mushrooms. It consists of concentrating its spores and releasing them in a powerful shock wave that damages everything within the radius. This allows the Edmontosaurus to harvest any material around it and deal heavy damage to any enemies nearby. This set of skills makes the edmontosaurus a worthy rival to apex predators or even bosses and a great explorer of the radioactive zone Introduction: Greetings survivors! I present to you my humble idea of the Edmontosaurus, the massive herbivore of aberration The main functions of this dino consist of: Rol as a Support Instant healer Light creature Area damage Tank turrets Area Harvester Immunity to torpor, toxins and radiation Ability to find max-level creatures Taming helper Wild: Edmontosaurus usually roam the green zone of aberration, although they can rarely be seen in the blue zone. As they are the largest herbivore on this ark (rivaling in size with spinosaurus or even a reaper king), only a maximum of one herd can spawn (between 4 and 5 specimens, one of them being a baby). They are not fast, but they can be very insistent when they enter a territorial state. Taming Process: Since the adults are too dangerous, the only alternative is to tame the baby of the herd. The process is complex: being a bioluminescent creature, the survivor must attract the baby with a light creature. It should be approached little by little, with the light creature turned on and without attracting the attention of adults.(It is recommended to wear a camouflage suit. Only the baby will detect you if you have the light on) Once the baby becomes curious, it will slowly approach until it is within reach of the survivor. When the baby starts to wag its tail, turn off the light and wait for the edmontosaurus start a light sequence. Once finished, the baby will turns his head to the side and that means it is your turn to imitate the pattern. If you repeat the pattern correctly using your light creature, the baby will let itself be fed by you. But if you make a mistake, the baby will start crying and the adults will respond aggressively. As you tame the baby, the confidence of the adults will change depending on the taming bar. From 1% to 25% domestication, adult edmontosaurus will be territorial if they spot you. from 26 to 50% domestication, adults will only watch you in case they detect you. From 51 to 100% domestication, the adults will no longer be territorial, unless you make the baby cry. Once the little edmontosaurus has been domesticated, the wild adults will no longer behave territorially towards the survivor, unless a new baby appears in the herd. Tamed: Congratulations! You have tamed an Edmontosaurus. Like any baby, you will need to spend time and care with it until it becomes an adult and finally uses its abilities. Actions: Primary Attack: A basic bite attack. It doesn't deal much damage, but it does help you harvest berries, fiber, wood, and straw. Secondary Attack: Generates a radius that allows you to use any of the edmontosaurus' spore abilities (requires consuming 100 mushrooms of any type) Spores Abilities (Click C, , ): Allows the Edmontosaurus to activate any of its 3 spore abilities. (healing state, lighting state, shock wave) Bipedal posture (Press Control, , ): allows the dino to stop using its quadrupedal stance and move bipedally, making it faster when walking or running (spore abilities not available in this state) Spores Abilities: Each spore ability requires the edmontosaurus to consume a total of 100 mushrooms of any type. This will recharge a spore fuel that will appear next to the survivor's inventory (just like mek fuel). Depending on which skill you use, the edomontosaurus will consume a certain percentage of this fuel. Heal state: When it activates, it instantly heals allies for 25% of the Edmontosaurus's total health (the more health the dino has, the more it heals) Then, over a 5 min period, all allies within range will be healed for a 5% of Edmontosaurus's total health constantly. Once that period is over, the edmontosaurus will be able to use any of its spores ability again. (Using this skill will consume 25% of the spore fuel) Lighting state: When activated, it creates a lighting effect on all allies within its radius. Prevents the appearance of nameless and reaper kings. It also allows you to identify max level creatures nearby. This state of the Edmontosaurus combined with a good battle mount, will allow you to fight or tame Reapers. The lighting range will be affected by the amount of stamina on the dino (The more stamina it has, the larger the area affected by the light will be) The duration of this state is 10 minutes. Once finished, the dino will be able to use any of its spore abilities again. (Using this skill will consume 50% of the spore fuel) Shock Wave: When activated, it generates a powerful shockwave that destroys any harvestable material around it and the resources will be stored in the Edmontosaurus's inventory. Enemies that are affected by this ability will take triple the total damage of the dino (example: if the edmontosaurus has 200 damage, the shock wave will do 600 damage) In addition, enemies will be affected by a bleeding and a bones fracture that weaken them for a few seconds. The damage and shockwave effects are instant, but cooldown is 3 minutes to use any of his spore abilities. (using this skill will consume 100% of the spore fuel) Conclusion: Edmontosaurus is a mount with primarily support uses. However, the combination of those skills along with proper upbringing make him an indispensable dino. There are few healers available in the game and few herbivores capable of taking on dangerous predators like rexes, reapers, or even gigas. Edmontosaurus opens the door for a hervivorean (not counting titanosaurus) to be able to take on the ark's dangerous apex predators. Thanks you
