Technical help request - Using PS4 as a dedicated server Hello, So I’ve got 2 PS4’s, one original model PS4 and a PS4 Pro. I’m using the original as a dedicated server and the Pro as the client and everything has been working fine for a while. I’m going for full progression so I started on the Island map and have been playing that for a month or so. Recently I decided to move over into Scorched Earth so as a test I took my character, 1 single creature and some very basic gear to the obelisk and uploaded items/creature/character. I turned off the Pro (client) went to the original (server) and exited game. I went back into Host on the server, changed the map to SE unchecked all the boxes for no character/item/creature downloads allowed (those boxes were checked before when I was on the Island) and started the server on the SE map. When I fired up the Pro client system I connected to the server and tried the option to Download Survivor but the list was empty and the only option I had was to create new character. I switched the server back to Island and tried to connect and still couldn’t Download Survivor, I still only have the option to create new character. So is my character now lost to the ether? Both the client and server are online so they’re up to date and current so it shouldn’t be a outdated software issue. I don't want to continue running the system and get farther away from the point where I can retrieve my character if that’s even possible, so anyone have any ideas? If more info is needed I’ll get it ASAP. Thanks!
Still no response from support! So about a month ago or so I built a base on aberration to farm metal, overnight a tribe named NinetyNineProblems came in and pillard Me In (1 tribe member in particular) to where I couldn't build anything outwards and only had a 8x8 space to work with, when I asked the kid why he did it and if he would remove it he started to be a little prick and threatened that if I didn't remove my base he would destroy it and my other bases whenever I came online. Since aberration usually is very sparsely populated anyways my server rarely has more than three people on it at a time but this kid just has to have all of the land to himself. So I went and filed a support ticket to see if the game managers would do their jobs and remove his pillars so I can build and be able to actually play the game the way it's supposed to be (kids like this little prick should stick to their own private servers and leave the people who have RESPECT FOR OTHERS alone!) Anyways I filed that ticket a month ago and never received a response two weeks after the incident I filed another ticket still to no response so it's good to know that when little punks like that do crap like that there will being nothing done about it making this game just a bit more unfun then it already is it's getting to the point where I'll stop playing and won't bother buying any more DLCs. They can't make the game fair for everyone and they can't fix the simple bugs and glitches that we already have what's the point? To have everything we work for messed up by some little selfish Punk? ITS A PVE SERVER FOR CHRIST SAKE!
So I lost my character just over a week ago transferring servers (an intended and integral part of the game) yes I know I could of made several characters on different servers, I have reported the issue with not even so much as an automated response email, my character had all bosses except king Titan on alpha difficulty and my character was lvl 133 and I read that apparently wildcard can only restore to 105 and no further nor ascended status and therefore not unlocking all my tekgrams so my questions are why have I not heard anything at all from wildcard as I said not even an automated email thanking me for my submitted ticket and secondly why have I paid for a game that can not fully reimburse a character to the status it was before a deletion? Should I just demand my money back under trading standards regs and play on game pass
