  1. Marine iguana rider 1.jfifMarine Iguana would be an excellent option with a water buff excellent oxygen and swimming and is also good on land would be passive and tameable passively with Azulberries or add a new plant seaweed
  2. This creature would be an aggressive bipedal carnivore, capable of high speeds and good stealth, some abilities would include invisibility, a sniffing ability, and tree climbing. Taming would be a difficult feat due to having to find it and not get killed, this creature would be a little smaller than the allosaurus in size, but stronger bite and better stealth, making it a viable apex predator. Log Entry (Wild) I found this creature while I was wandering through the redwoods, the Chilantaisaurus, it seemed rather curious as it attempted to sneak up on me, it had small penetrating spikes from its spine and claws that seemed like they could rip metal with ease, I didn't wait to find out what would happen next. Log Entry (Tamed) After taming this creature, I found it much easier to travel as it can fit through small gaps, climb, and travel quickly, along with the speed of travel, I found it easier to find prey as it has a seemingly strong sense of smell. Saddle The saddle would require the following materials, 250 hide, 20 metal, 300 fiber, and 50 Chilantaisaurus scales (Gathered by finding scales one has shed, tamed or wild.) This saddle would hold two people, but a special armor made from the scales of this creature is required to go invisible along with your mount. Added crafting recipes Along with the armor previously mentioned, you can use 10 scales to modify a forcefield so it cloaks your base as well, and the armor does work without the tame, but only temporarily. (Special armor, dyeable)

    Dragons

    Instead of having the one dragon boss, there will be multiple, rare tameable dragons, along with the dragon king as the boss, the tameable ones will be able to be fitted with either a regular saddle, or a Tek one, the Tek saddle will have a turret on each side, and the space to walk around a bit inside, being completely protected.
  4. Create your own corrupted zombies! Abilities: First ability: Corruption Blast! The Manipulator opens its wings and directs a concentrated blast of Corrupted spores at its opponents. This is a long range attack that will cause enemies to suffer the longer they are exposed to the spores. The damage will stack over time the longer a creature is exposed, which will last until the 20-second mark, where the damage will reach its maximum! Second ability: Plague of the scourge Manipulators can release a toxic sludge made of Corruption from its spiracles. When this sludge comes into contact with an enemy they will become sick and start taking damage. The ailment will spread to others and will begin to mutate the longer it's active, causing the symptoms to get worse over time! Third ability: Tarsal claw The Manipulator can climb up almost any surface with its powerful tarsal claws, allowing them to cling to walls or ceilings! Fourth ability: Reanimator Manipulators can use this ability on both smaller and larger creatures! By placing a Corrupted Node into any creature’s inventory, including Survivors, the node will then sprout tendrils and reanimate the body to do their bidding! However, reanimated creatures cannot be healed due to their zombified status, so use it wisely! Passive ability: Symbiosis The aggro-radius of Corrupted creatures is drastically reduced when riding this creature, which is handy when scouting the Wastelands and the Forbidden Zone! Wild behavior: Manipulators can often be found in the Forbidden Zone of Extinction, or in rare occasions out in the Wasteland spreading its specialized strain of corrupted spores. Manipulators are naturally scavengers but they will not hesitate to hunt down Survivors and other creatures. A Manipulator’s main objective in life is to gain more territory than the others of its kind. When two males come into contact, they will compete over territory and ram into each other using the horns on their pronotums as a show of dominance. Taming: One can acquire a Pronotum by either picking up one from a previous fight between two male Manipulators, or you kill a male to harvest the drop. This can then be used to tame a Manipulator by tossing it to the ground like Honey and it will taunt the Manipulator to fight, to which you will have to bring out your own concussive mount, whether that be a Pachy, Equus or Therizinosaur. You will then battle the Manipulator until it passes out, and then you’ll be able to feed it whatever food it prefers. And there you have it, your very own Manipulator! Tamed: The zombie fungus in the Manipulator can produce corrupted spores that can infect other creatures and Survivors, much like Mega-Rabies but deadlier. With a flap of its wings it can release these spores at opponents to deal damage over time. The damage increases significantly more if the Manipulator previously launched a sludge bomb of spores at their target, and will cause an infection that can be deadly if not treated with the newly acquirable Greater Antidote! The Manipulator can climb any surface with ease, whether vertically or upside down. And more impressively it can avoid detection from Corrupted creatures around it, as long as it’s not directly next to them. But its main ability is the power to “reanimate” the nearly dead using the zombie-ant fungus to control them remotely. The Manipulator must first attach a Corrupted Node directly to a target below 10% health using the fungus sludge as a glue and then release its spores to activate the fungus. This in turn will cause tendrils to sprout out of the body and control the creature or Survivor, to which the one riding the Manipulator can whistle commands as if they are their own tames. The zombies will only last for a short while before dying, so use this ability wisely. Additional information: Manipulators can only hold up to five corrupted nodes at a time. Male Manipulators have horns while the females do not. Manipulator is inspired by multiple creatures including the Madagascar hissing cockroach, Giant cave cockroach, Halloween hissing cockroach, and Tarantula hawk.   5. Chunkingosaurus was a small stegosaurid originating in China. In game chunkingosaurus will be found in the forests on extinction attacking those who get to close to it with its powerful tail. Whatever gets close to it will feel the might of chunkingosaurus dealing massive amounts of damage, chunkingosaurus will have higher attack than kentrosaurus but lower health than it, it is rideable, its saddle unlocks at level 42, it has 2 attacks, its first is a bite, and its second is a tail whip that deals massive damage, while the bite is weaker. In order to tame it, it is a passive tame, who eats either rare mushroom, rare flower or azulberry. You approach, crouching slowly to its face than you feed it , if not, the chunkingosaurus will agro on you, once tamed its can gather berries, wood and thatch. When low health in battle chunkingosaurus will start to spin at high velocity running away and dealing 12 times the damage, after getting a kill the chunkingosaurus will dance. Once tamed chunkingosaurus will eat any kind of berry. He also has a high weight capacity. Chunkingosaurus will get a 800 second attack boost after killing a therapod. Also the saddle can also carry water. After you kill a chunkingosaurus you will get keratin, chintin, raw meat, and raw prime meat. Chunkingosaurus also has a ability called drought protection which allows chunkingosaurus to go without food or water for longer times. I hope you like the idea of chunkingosaurus, I picked this creature because the game has a lack of stegosaurids.

Even if there's only one winner, seeing the creativity of the community is always a blast! Introduction Greetings Survivors! I wanted to explain my process for this submission. I chose the Vulpes Quizhudingu due to Vulpes’ Genus adaptability. I think it's a suitable creature that could possibly find a home in every biome allowing it to be an accessible early/mid-game tame. In essence, it would bring something new to the entire map instead of being constricted to a singular spot. In this design, I wanted to express “sci-fi”. In a similar way to the Gasbag & Snow Owl. It is meant to feel familiar to an earth fox but the Corruption/Obelisk made its evolution alien to our concept of it. Extinction’s Element corrupted its form, mangling it into something more biomechanical. Thus, it possesses unnatural abilities. I drew inspiration from kitsune folklore (tails) to add that fantasy element most extinction creatures have. (Extinct: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vulpes_qiuzhudingi ) Wild In a similar way to the Bubo Chinookus (Snow Owl), the Obelisk seems to have influenced the Vulpes Quizhudingi's evolution and survival. It appears to be an unnatural convergent evolution of the Vulpes genus. It can adapt to any temperature making it the sole creature on the ark that can be found in every biome but the wastelands. While it is a solitary creature by nature, it can be found with a bonded mate and pups. From my time in the field, the Vulpes seem to be a brilliant and inquisitive creature. I have seen them get into an array of amusing situations with Dodos. They don’t seem to hold any initial hostility toward survivors. If threatened, the Vulpes discharges a potent harmful gas from the gland ring around its neck. If the threat doesn’t succumb to the topor, it will relentlessly lash out its tails to knock back and cripple the enemy with the sharpened ray needle tips. Domesticated The Vulpes Qiuzhudingi is a versatile mount. It doesn’t require a saddle to ride and it seems to be able to regulate the survivor’s body temperature in extreme weather. As a land mammal, it can travel at a decent pace for an extended period. Its ability to climb and leap allows it to be an explorer's best friend. While the Vulpes Qiuzhudingi possesses an amount of bulk, it is far more suited for combat support and utility. I have seen survivors coordinate a pack of Vulpes to disrupt enemy formations with noxious gases. Dedicated survivors have managed to make a tek saddle that allows the Vulpes more maneuverability and the ability to drop an array of bombs as it runs around the battlefield. Creature Overview: The Vulpes Quizhudingi is a versatile support/travel mount. While it may be extremely weak in melee damage (10 base damage at lv 1, slow growth), it will make up for it in decent health, good stamina and great speed. Due to its narco berry and stim berry diet, it can be immune to narcotic topor. Finally, It can harvest Narco/Stim Berries, Acerbic/Auric Mushrooms and Meat Coloration (For Breeders) Due to the Vulpes inhabiting multiple biomes, an individual will have a fur pattern that reflects it. Its corrupted coloured veins can potentially be any colour on the spectrum giving a creature more individuality (even if it isn’t reflective of the biome). I’d suggest the corruption can glow in the dark, giving the Vulpes a unique night-time appearance. (Any can interbreed and pass off their colours to their offspring) Snow Biome would reflect the Artic Fox (Quizhudingi descendant) Desert would reflect the Fennec Fox Sanctuary would reflect the Red Fox Sunken Forest would reflect Bat Fox/Silver Fox Examples: More Exotic Corruption Colors: Potential Offensive Abilities: Noxious Gas: The Vulpus “Noxious Gas” is discharged around it. It will remain in place for 5 seconds creating an area of effect. Any non-allied creature trapped within will be slowed and be inflicted with one of the following: Tranquillizer Gas: At the cost of 50 Narcoberries or Acerbic Mushrooms, every enemy creature and survivor without a gas mask will gain a significant amount of torpor. Hallucinogenic Gas: At the cost of 50 Stimberries or Auric Mushrooms, every enemy creature that **isn’t** ridden by the survivor will be stunned for the duration. Any creature ridden by a survivor and any survivors without a gas mask will have their stamina drained by 5%. Aromatic Gas (Optional): At the cost of 30 Giant Bee Honey, every allied creature that can provide a buff such as the Yuty, and healing such as Daedon will have their effects boosted for the duration. The Vulpes “Noxious Gas” is determined by the 1st usable item. For example, if 50 Narcoberries follow 50 Stimberries it will unleash the Tranquilizer Gas. 49 Narcoberries followed by 50 Stimberries will unleash the Hallucinogenic Gas due to not meeting the Tranq Gas requirement. Weakness: To prevent spam, the Vulpes ‘Noxious Gas’ can be activated in 4-second intervals. If a creature exits the gas, the debuffs end. Furthermore, the corrupted needles at the tip of its tails can be aimed and fired to inflict 3 seconds of bleed. Its long-ranged attack speed can be compared to the Reaper King’s needle attack. Predatory Pounce: A reflection of the Vulpes’ hunting style, it functions identically to a raptor pin. It can hold on and bite down on a creature of its size and smaller. Potential Passive Abilities: Weather Immunity: When riding a Vulpes, the Survivor’s body temperature is stabilized. As a result, it will negate any debuffs from heat/cold. Slow Stamina Drain: The Vulpes is a versatile travel companion able to cross a variety of terrain. It can climb, leap and run without breaking a sweat. However, it doesn’t have fall damage immunity. Optional Idea, Survivor Detection: The Vulpes can detect survivors (alive and corpses) within a radius as long as an implant is in its inventory. Alternatively, it could track down allied tames that may have been lost. In both cases, it will signal by wiggling its ears and highlighting the survivor or tame. (Parasaur-like) Potential Tek Saddle Ability: Charged Jump: At the cost of element, the Vulpes can choose to charge its jump/leap, allowing it to knock back surrounding enemies for a clean getaway. Bombs Away!: The Vulpes’ Tek Saddle possesses a compartment that can store up to 8 ammunition. By pressing B, it will drop a bomb behind it in an attempt to shake off any pursuers. Once no shell remains, it must be manually reloaded. List of items: Grenades, Poison Grenades, Cluster Grenades, C4, Tek Grenades, Tek Gravity Grenades, Glow Sticks, Oil jars, Plant Species Z Fruits Resource Location: (Element Powered, Slow Drain) Accessed by choosing the search option in the radial menu. The Vulpes can use its enhanced biomechanical senses to locate nearby resources and elemental nodes. Once located, it will highlight the location. (Similar to the Parasaur detection radius, but it remains on until you run out of element or turn it off) Mortar Pestle: It can craft Narcotics, Stimulants, Bug Repellant, Lesser Antidotes, Propellant, Sparkpowder & Gunpowder. Taming Method IT IS A PASSIVE TAME. Once the Vulpes notices a survivor, the creature will take a few steps forward towards them. It will let out a curious vocalization. If a survivor chooses to run towards it, it will release a Tranq Gas and run away. If a survivor decides to take out a weapon or run at it with a weapon it will turn aggressive, defending itself. If a survivor walks away from it, it will lose interest and resume its wild behaviour. If a survivor throws any food (a bonus with honey, narco/stim berries, mutton) it will run to eat it. Once fed, the Vulpes will maintain a distance from the survivor. When it vocalizes, feed it. When the taming effectiveness is at 20%, it will follow the survivor and start phase 2. (Phase 2) In intervals, it will bring a resource to you (90% random food items, 9% primitive items, 1% Dodo) and the survivor must take it and offer it food to boost affinity. (Phase 3) At 80% taming progress, a prompt will appear for the survivor to mount the Vulpes. Choosing to mount it will boost 80% to 90% of taming progress. In a similar way to the Equus, its ai will roam independently to the survivor (however, it will attempt to avoid hostiles when possible, choosing to run away). When its tails seem to wag, a prompt to pet it will appear (2% per). It is the shortest phase, due to the Vulpes excitability to have gained a trustworthy friend. Wild: Wandering the most climate extreme environments in this broke earth, Sinotyrannus Radium has been able to harvest electricity from the environment thanks to its element mutations and use it offensively This Sinotyrannus' crest is usually used as the main outlet of electricity in his body, its able to use its electricity to either shoot out a lightning bolt which crosses among multiple enemies or a flash of blinding light made to stun them Taming Method: You must wait till it shoots its flashbang or lightning bolt, and either deflect it with either a metal shield (flashbang) or with the riot shield (lighting bolt), then it will be stunned, then you may feed it to gain taming effectiveness Tamed: Tribes upon the wasteland have been able to tame these predators by using their own attacks against them, stunning them by reflecting their respective attack and feeding them afterwards Some of these Sinotyrannus are fitted with generator saddles and used as mobile electric sources which dont need gas, this generators are also able to overcharge the Sinotyrannus and make them specially fast and agile compared to most creatures Sinotyrannus; Abilities: Regular bite: Fast bite with decent damage, comparable to carno Lighting bolt: When you enter turret mode you can choose on of two modes, the first mode gives you a lighting bolt shot, which has goes through multiple enemies dealing damage to all of em, a hard hitting attack which takes a couple seconds to recharge, the crest will be a bright yellow when doing this Flashbang: The second mode inside of turret mode is the flashbang, this attack stuns creatures and blind for a few seconds, this attack has a big cooldown and is easy to predict due to its animation, this is to prevent getting stunned all the time, whenever this mode is active the crest will be a bright blue Stomp: A stomp attack which deals moderate damage but leaves an electric field on the ground, this electric field deactivates Meks and other robotic creatures, also it does a continuous stream of damage when inside Passive Abilities: Generator Saddle: Its saddle acts as a mobile generator, this generator doesnt need gas but has a much smaller range Overcharge: When it has a powered generator saddle it unlocks the overcharge meter, this can be filled by attacking and running, when this is activated he is able to do 180 spins on the spot, mega jumps which explode with electricity when it lands and faster movement speed

BEFORE YOU CONTINUE READING, THIS IS NOT A REAL CREATURE AND I AM AWARE THAT THIS MAY BE DISQUALIFIED DUE TO THAT. Abilities: This creature is unable to be corrupted and does extra damage to corrupted creatures. Appearance: Pretty much a larger T-Rex but it also has eyes that glow in the dark and it has long thin spikes on it's narrow back. Behavior: This creature is aggressive towards any corrupt creatures, but it won't attack anything else unless provoked, this would make for a good base protector. Taming Method: This creature is not tameable, but considering that it won't attack players, you are able to ride it, yet it will attack any corrupt creatures uncontrollably. Stats: It will have health in between a rex and a giga. High attack power, slightly stronger than a giga, but not a strong a a Carcha. High speed and weight. The Bahariasaurus would be about the size of a rex, slightly smaller with large spikes along its back, high health and slightly weaker than a rex in attack, taming method would be similar to a Carcha, but the Bahariasaurus would be less aggressive making it easier to tame, it's saddle will have a solid iron cage allowing the player to ride without worries of being sniped off their mounts back.

Elles posséderont comme des parents normaux les stats aléatoires de la mère ou du père cependant elle ne pourront pas se reproduire avec leur parent (logique c’est pas la même espèce) et agiront comme leur homologue naturel Méthode d’apprivoisements : Passive Pour commencer l’apprivoisement, je sais c’est contradictoire, mais vous devez tuer le Cryptogyps, vous devez alors vous assurer de l’enfermer dans un lieu sûr mais pas trop petit, sinon il refusera la prochaine étape, pour commencer vous devez faire un appât, pour ce faire vous devez poser une taxidermie avec un trophée correspondant équiper, plus il est gros (donc alpha et prédateur apex) mieux sera l’apprivoisement après le combat, vous pouvez mettre basilisk alpha, karkinos alpha, giga, etc, il sera attiré et vous pourrez l’enfermer pour le tuer, ensuite une fois son pouvoir trompe la mort active vous devez l’attraper, soit par une bolas en métal soit par un megalosaurus ( attention cela retire son immunité) une fois attraper vous devez attendre 2 minutes (le temps qu’il regen, ensuite vous pourrez le relâcher la attendez sans l’attaquer qu’il s’approche de vous et une fois assez prêt faite lui une caresse, ensuite selon la réaction de Cryptogyps vous devez réagir, si Cryptogyps vous attaque affaiblissez le pour montrer qui domine, si Cryptogyps se montre imposant et ouvre ses ailes donnez lui un œuf d’or d’hesperornis, ensuite refaite une caresse et rebelotte si il attaque attaquer, si il s’impose nourrissez le, attention il ne perdra pas d’efficacité si c’est vous qui l’attaquer par contre si c’est une autre créature (sauvage ou tamer) cela pourrait baiser son efficacité. Cryptogyps accepte aussi les champignons doré, œuf de basilisk, minerais d’élément et élément comme alternative si il n’y a pas d’œuf doré mais se sera moins efficace et donc plus de chance de devoir se battre. Contrairement à son homologue Torgos Arcam il est très grand, vraiment très grand, il fait aisément la taille d’un argentavis sur l’arche, au départ quand je l’ai croisée pour la première fois j’aurais cru en voir un, en somme Crypto à une allure qu’on pourrait confondre avec un aigle, disons que c’est surtout son long cou qui le trahit, d’ailleurs, je l’ai aperçu une fois l’un d’entre eux se faire prendre par un megalosaurus qu’il venait par mégarde de réveillé, et il s’est fait attraper, ce n’est pas une chose qu’on pourrait couramment voir sur d’autre spécimens de sa taille. Apprivoisé : Lorsque je vois certaines de ces capacités, y comprit celle sur l'élément, cela me fait horriblement peur, serait-il l’un des sbires de Rockwell ? Il est capable de corrompre l'élément à sa manière, donnant son pouvoir de résurrection aux créatures qui seraient en contact avec l’élément momifié. J’ai vu certain des meilleurs inventeurs de la Fédération et des URE construire une armure tek pour cette créature, lui permettant d’amplifier ses pouvoirs déjà présent ou de l’obligé à corrompre de l’élément, cette armure ne fait, je trouve qu’empirer la menace que crypto peut causer. Avoir un cryptogyps lacertosus apprivoisé peut cependant être utile pour voyager, ont peut monter sur son dos comme monture volante, mais on peut aussi voyager dans les grottes avec, si la pression de l’air d’une grotte empêche de voler, il peut s'agripper à votre échine, étant comme torgos arcam assez léger, et servir de planeur, il peut faire un vol stationnaire dans les airs, mais il peut aussi bouger et donc planer et faire trois bond dans les airs avant d’être obligé d'atterrir. Il ne vaut pas un draconis obscurum pour voyager mais il est plutôt utile pour ceux qui n’ont pas le bonheur d’avoir cette monture, de plus, peut être du fait qu’il connaît assez l’élément pour le corrompre, il n’est pas affecté par les radiations et l’eau d’élément, permettant ainsi aux survivants de voyager dans cette zone hostile bien accompagné ou d’aller dans des grottes des autres arches à la traque aux artéfacts. Creature suggestion: Linhenykus Common Name : Linhenykus Species : Linhenykus monodactylus (Alvarezsauridae) Time : Late Cretaceous Diet : Insectivore Temperament : Territorial Of the family group Alvarezsaurids a highly specialized form of theropod. They had long narrow heads with many small teeth, along with tiny but stout forelimbs, with compact, bird-like hands tipped with large heavy claws – most notable of these is the single clawed Linhenykus. Their skeletons suggest that they had massive breast and arm muscles, possibly adapted for digging or tearing into termite mounds, their ecological niches were similar to those of aardvarks, pangolins, and anteaters. Alvarezsaurids ranged from 50 centimetres (20 in) to 2 metres (6.6 ft) in length, although some possible members may have been larger, including the European Heptasteornis that may have reached 2.5 metres (8.2 ft) long. Fossils attributed to alvarezsaurids have also been found in North and South America and Asia, and range in age from about 86 to 66 million years ago. Size – The original size of the Linhenykus was so small it can fit in the palm of your hand, but ARK size can be more in line with the related Heptasteornis making it more Gallmimus sized so that it is rideable. The main feature of this dino is its single digit hand forming a single large almost jack-hammer like claw at the end of each arm. It was thought this was used to dig out termite mound and grubs. For a rideable ARK creature, this makes for an interesting weapon/gathering tool. Basically a robust jackhammer with attitude. Wild: – Similar to Iguanodon, these feathered bipedal dinos mosied around in singles or in pairs, stopping to peck at the ground occasionally and seeming to mind their own business. They look harmless, like a giant vegetarian compy or something Gallimimus related. That is until something else gets too close, then the big claws come out. Literally! With a fast side sweep and a double stabbing down motion -strike any predator is soon sorry to mess with this feisty dino. They are also not adverse in driving off any rivals in their perceived territory. Taming –Primary food is chitin same as the archaeopteryx making the traditional shooting with tranqs a little tricky but quite doable, then putting chitin in its inventory to eat. Alternatively the method could be centred around dropping its favourite food without making it agro and then either riding it bronco style and/or repeating the passive feeding. This way of course means if it agro’s for any reason it looses percentage making it a lot harder to tame. Domesticated: Once tamed a Linhenykus is quite rideableand proves to be a fast mount in keeping with a Gallimimus - but much more robust, and with those jack hammer claws it is more than capable of defending itself against most predators. While it is great as a long range scout with speed to boot, its fine bones means it cannot carry any great weights making not so useful for hauling gear. Those claws also make effective digging tools, making clearing land for farming or building a simple task of pointing it in the right direction and letting it hammer away. Abilities Attack - Single side sweep with one claw, plus a double claw stab in a downward motion (similar movement to the mantis attack) Harvest – Harvests chitin from all insect types extremely well. It will also harvest wood or stone while clearing these, but not as effectively as the Thorny or Doedi making chitin harvesting its main usage. It could also be used to dig up root vegetables such as rockarrots and savoroot. (whether from wild harvesting or only from gardens?? Would certainly obtain the seeds of these from bushes the same as a trike does.) Biome – Generally anywhere you find Gallimumus, mainly redwood, but also uncommon in forest area

For example, when you feed the Kosmoceratops paint it will a new ability to the dinosaur for a certain amount of time: 1: Red paint will boost your tamed creatures around you by 10% Lasts two minuets 2: Yellow paint will provide tamed creatures with a 20% defense against wild creatures Lasts two minuets 3: Blue paint will provide tamed creatures with a 25% gathering efficiency Lasts five minutes 4: Green paint will provide your Kosmoceratops with a poisonous bite which allows you to knock out wild creatures Lasts five minuets 5: Purple paint will provide your Kosmoceratops with a 10% crafting skill bonus to creatures and players around you. Lasts two minuets Taming To tame your very own Kosmoceratops you would have to make a certain amount of lazarus chowder depending on the level of the creature you find. 1. you would have to feed the creature 1 lazarus chowder for levels 1-20 2: you would have to feed the creature 5 lazarus chowder for levels 21-50 3: you would have to feed the creature 10 lazarus chowder for levels 51-100 4: you would have to feed the creature 15 lazarus chowder for levels 100 and up Once you have fed the creature the correct amount of lazarus chowder you will have to complete a minigame in order to fully tame it. To complete the minigame you have to collect from the correct bush that matches what the Kosmoceratops is craving. The way you know what bush to collect from, you will have to look above all the bushes in the area and the bush berries icon will show up. Special Abilities The Kosmoceratops can use its tail as cannon. Furthermore, if you put crystals in its inventory, you must press the attack button, trigger, etc. Moreover, it will shoot out a crystal cannon ball that can destroy structures up to the metal tier. Also, this attack can knock out karkinos and rock elementals (Each crystal cannon ball requires 100 crystals and 10 cementing paste to make). Also, the horns of a tamed Kosmoceratops can be used as a type of musical instrument which can be used to boost your herbivores defense and damage by 5%. However, if you use a wild Kosmoceratops horn, it will make the wild creatures around you become hostile towards you. INTRODUCTION Prehistoric canines have been a favorite topic of mine for years now, and I’ve always hoped for any of the different species to be added to ARK as a competitor against the direwolf. Their history is incredible and their different structures and anatomy are even more impressive; with the Xenocyon lycanoides having caught my eye the most as it looks like some sort of mix between a borophagus, a gray wolf, and an African wild dog. There are loads of opportunities with this creature, and I hope to explore all of them in-depth in this creature submission. NATURAL HISTORY Xenocyon lycanoides was a hypercarnivore that lived in Africa and Eurasia throughout the late Pliocene and early Pleistocene. It’s the ancestor of the modern dhole and the African wild dog, though Xenocyon itself was much larger than its descendants. It was once even a competitor against the direwolf, with larger size, bulkier strength, and being even more hypercarnivorous— though its small numbers couldn’t win over Pleistocene North America, and the North American population dwindled and eventually died out. DOSSIER WILD “A dangerous pack hunter, Xenocyon lycanoides is known to use its sharp teeth to inflict intense bleeding in its prey. With high stamina and long legs, this canine can run and run for miles. Its howl alone is enough to terrify smaller critters, and their packs have incredible familial loyalty.” DOMESTICATED ”The adults are far too aggressive to tame, so in order to get your own Xenocyon, you must passively care for the pups. However, once tamed and raised to adulthood, your canine companion will assist you in caves, hunting, and even taming other creatures with its unique abilities.” UTILITY The Xenocyon is an efficient and incredibly useful utility mount through and through. Its abilities consist of: - BONE-BREAKER: Right-click attack causes a bleed/bone breaking effect, which slows down the opponent and causes them to lose health over time. This effect stacks. - PACK BONUS: In groups of 3 or more, the Xenocyon gains a damage and defense buff. It is also able to locate other tamed Xenocyon in its pack by pressing X and highlighting their outlines with a resounding cackle. - FEAR HOWL: By pressing C, the Xenocyon can let loose an intimidating howl that scares away most smaller creatures, such as raptors, pegomastax, icthyornis, and even humans. - “SADDLEBAG”: Though it can be ridden, the Xenocyon does not have a saddle; instead, it has a “saddlebag,” a pack that acts similarly to a preserving bin while reducing resource weight and still providing armor. - INSULATION: The Xenocyon provides a small insulation buff to protect its rider against the elements. This works particularly well in heat, while not particularly functioning as well in colder environments. - SNEAK: “Sneak mode” can be toggled by pressing R, allowing both the Xenocyon and its rider to gain increased stealth. The stealth equivalent is of ghillie, and can prove to be useful for taming skittish creatures or skirting around dangerous animals without risk of being noticed. - LAY DOWN: Tamed Xenocyon can be toggled to lay down, which allows their health gain to be slightly boosted. However, while laying down, it cannot be toggled to attack and is vulnerable to getting killed by aggressive creatures and players with no means to defend itself. - STAMINA: Long legs and an affinity for long-winded hunts gives this creature immense stamina, allowing it to pursue prey for miles. - TRACKER: With left control, the Xenocyon can sniff and lead you in the direction of whatever animal you’re searching for. However, this ability can be risky to use, as the Xenocyon will get excited and run towards the smell whether it has a rider or not, although it stops outside the selected creature’s aggro range. Using this with the Sneak ability provides an excellent method for finding and taming creatures. - RIVALRY: When around direwolves, the Xenocyon gains the rivalry buff, granting it extra damage and defense. SPAWN LOCATIONS AND TAMING The Xenocyon is known to spawn in warmer, more open climates, such as vast plains, deserts, and oases. They spawn in packs of 3 - 5, with pups tagging along with them. In order to tame a Xenocyon, you must imprint on one of the pups, but be warned: adult Xenocyon are very protective of their young and won’t hesitate to eliminate any other threats. EXTRA NOTES - Its eyes glow similarly to a Troodon in the dark, as they’re highly reflective. - It has three idle animations: a basic one where it stands and breathes like any other creature, a slightly more complex one that consists of it pawing at its face, and one that can only be toggled by being near other tamed Xenocyon. This animation is where the tamed Xenocyon checks up on its packmembers, sniffing them to ensure that they’re okay. - It growls when around a direwolf (whether tamed or wild), and will only stop when away from the wolf. Dossier Info: Common Name: Siats Species Name: Siats Meekerorum Time Period: Late Cretaceous Temperament: Aggressive Wild The Siats Meekerorum is one of the most unique creatures within the ARKs. Due to its uniquely shaped teeth and glands within its maw it is able to store various chemicals within it’s mouth that it harvests from various creatures blood, these chemicals could be used to make various concoctions. The Siats is also quite large being only slightly smaller than that of the Tyrannosaurs. The Siats spends most of its day hunting and spending the nights sleeping. Domesticated Once a Siats has been domesticated it is one of most useful and unique companions. They are strong enough to hold their own against some of the other larger predators and are naturally intimidating to smaller pests. Not to mention being able to put their stored chemicals to use. Taming Process: The Siats is tamed by using a new item called Bug Brew (Bug Brew is crafted using: Chitin, Death Worm Horns, Oil, Organic Polymer, Rhyniognatha Pheremone, Silk, and Water). Next, you must wait for the Siats to fall asleep ans sneak up to it and feed it Bug Brew to begin the taming process. Once the Siats wakes up a spot on its body will be marked you must then hit the spot with a harpoon until it roars in pain, once it roars you must feed it biotoxin until its torpor reaches full and it is knocked out, you must then feed it taming food (Meat or Extraordinary Kibble). Abilities: Actions - Primary Attack - A slow low damage basic bite Charged Bite - A attack that can be charged and held doing more damage than the Primary Attack but is much slower *If performed while held by a Rhyniognatha it will cause it to drop the Siats Stomp - The Siats stomps its foot causing nearby creatures to be knocked back Chemically Infused Roar - The Siats roars and gives off spit particles the creature hit will be affected by the concoction selected (Shown in the bottom left similar to Deinopithicus) Roar - A roar for cosmetic and roleplay purposes Passive Abilities - Pest Intimidation - Small aggressive creatures naturally avoid Siats Pest Control - Siats takes reduced damage from all agressive small creatuers Exterminator - Siats is immune to the Rhyniognatha’s englued effect Chemical Extraction - Certain creatures and breakables will give chemicals when harvested by Siats Saddle Ability - Within the Siats’s saddle you can craft various concoctions using various chemicals harvested by Siats. Here are some examples: Speed Concoction - Grants the Siats much faster movement speed for a short duration at the cost of temporarily reduced health, crsfted using water and Gali Chemicals Defence Concoction - Makes the Siats take reduced damage for a short duration at the temporary cost of significant movement speed Rage Concoction - Temporarily increase the Siats’s attack speed at the cost of defence *These are just examples they could be changed and more could be added. *Will make dossier if people are intrested enough.
  16. This is Leaellynasaura, the Center’s new all-terrain support Dino with applications for both PvP and PvE purposes. The medium-sized Ornithischian gets a size boost to be completely rideable, and hails from Prehistoric Australia. The Leaellynasaura is designed as an excellent forward scout and army-support, as well as an all-terrain alternative for Flyers. Let’s get into her abilities, shall we? Design Leaellynasaura are originally small, bipedal ornithischian Dinosaurs from Early Cretaceous Australia and Antarctica. Theorized to be covered in feathers of some kind to aid in temperature regulation. ARKs Leaellynasaura is similar. A naturally albino creature with light blue hues, the feather covered Leaellynasaura is hard to spot amongst the icy places it calls home. Unlike its real world counterpart, the ARK Leaellynasaura is larger, just under the size of a Utahraptor, and has significantly larger front limbs, boasting gripping claws. Dossier “Common Name: Leaelly Species: Leaellynasaura Aquambulatio Time: Early Cretaceous Diet: Herbivorous Temperament: Passive” Wild ”Leaellynasaura Aquambulatio are unique little fellas, found in arctic regions. Since they’re lower on the food chain, they can oftentimes be seen by the coasts, where they are the safest. Their fluffy coats offer them protection from the cold, and keeps them relatively dry from chilly waters. They keep to the shores due to the unique method they use to escape predators: walking on Water! Much like Basilisk lizards, they can run on the waves, though unlike them, Leaellynasaura can move at several speeds and even drift! They can even clamber up sheer cliffs if need be. They can often be seen near to the Mammoth herds that wander the Tundra, as they often defend the smaller critters from the ravenous Direwolves and Yutyrannus.” Donesticated “Leaellynasaura Aquambulatio offer unique attributes few tribes out here can master. Particularly, their impressive mobility on both land and water allow their riders to move at significant speed across most terrains, acting as top-of-the-line forward scouts and exploratory mounts. Interestingly, some tribes have been able to coax out a frosty armor from the air trapped within the fuzzy friends feathers, coating their Allies in a frozen armor of some kind, greatly increasing their defenses. If one can master a Leaellynasaura, they can potentially master the entire region.” Ecology Leaellynasaura are found in the north and south arctic regions, particularly around the coast. They are (mostly) herbivores, meaning they are oftentimes on the run from stronger predators such as the Yuty or Direwolves. They have developed a unique taste for Organic Polymer however, and will prey on Kairuku is pressured. They have a unique relation with the Mammoths of the region, oftentimes using their unique abilities to boost up the mammals in defense of their territory. Taming Leaellynasaura are tamed passively, through gaining their trust. Survivors must keep hostile creatures (including tamed ones) away from the Dino long enough for it to develop into a calmed state. Once it is in this state, it must be fed berries, crops, Veggie Cakes, or their favorite, Organic Polymer. If a hostile creature enters a certain radius, Taming Effectiveness and Taming level itself will begin to decrease, and any nearby Mammoths will become hostile. Abilities Leaellynasaura have a wide range of abilities designed to aid survivors in both PvP and PvE environments. Firstly, they are adept at travel, being faster than most other species, similar to the Galimimus. Due to its claws, it also has notable climbing capabilities, identical to those of the Deinonychus. The signature ability of the Leaellynasaura however is it’s ability to run on water, much like the real life basilisk lizard, yet with fewer limitations. Leaellynasaura can move at either speedy or more controllable speeds, allowing it to effectively evade predators or forage for food. While they can’t properly stop on the water, they can quickly drift to get into a new direction. Their traveling capabilities are only supported by their fur insulating riders from both heat and cold. What’s more, is they can provide an icy armor to Allies, increasing defense significantly. This does not heal like that of a Snow Owl, but the Leaellynasaura remains mobile and can reapply the effect when out of harm’s way. Uses ~All-terrain Exploration Mount The Leaellynasaura is a must-have for traveling The Center on foot, and potentially even for caving. Its unique set of skills allow it to be an amazing land mount, where Survivors can quickly escape a bad situation and keep moving to find their next target, and due to its thermal regulation, survivors can worry less about the environments they chose to explore. ~Forward Scout Due to its small stature, natural camouflage, unique skills and impressive speed, Leaellynasaura works amazingly as a forward scout prior to a raid. Few creatures can keep up with it, and it’s capabilities allow its rider to get a complete view of the enemy prior to any assault. ~Bossing/Defense Support With its Icy armor buff applied, Leaellynasaura easily pairs well with Yutyrannus or Mammoth buffs for both Boss fights and Raid defense. It excels especially due to its mobility allowing it to dodge and weave through attacks, making up for it’s relatively small health pool. ~Caving Dino while not as physically powerful as contenders such as the Baryonyx or Thyla, Leaellynasaura makes up for it with its impressive mobility, only matched by Deinonychus and Megalania within most Artifact caves. Notes -I submitted the Leaellynasaura due to the lack of variety in most community votes. While many different species (some good, some bad) have made it into the top ten, the winners are mostly the large carnivores (Charchar, Fasolasuchus, Gigantoraptor) or flyers (Desmodus, Sinomacrops, Rhiniognatha) and I wanted to introduce something new. Specifically a herbivore, as the last herbivore to be introduced was the Amargasaurus on Lost Island (unless the Andrewsarchus eats berries but I don’t recall it doing so). -the Leaellynasaura was designed as both a PvP and a PvE tame to appeal to both crowds. while I’d generally expect more PvE use based on its abilities, It can almost certainly contend among other PvP support Dinos. -I specifically submitted it to The Center due to the map’s wide variety of environments and conditions and the lack of a proper all-terrain creature on the map (that isn’t a flyer). -While it is inferior in several ways to other creatures (Bloodstalkers, Deinonychus) I believe the Leaellynasaura is an excellent mix of several unique abilities that fits into a unique niche on its introduced map.

Search and Rescue- when equipped with a saddle adds a sled behind Canis Lupus Domesticus and can be given the dermis's your tames. When set to "Search and Rescue" Canis Lupus Domesticus will search for that tame that the dermis belongs to. Canis Lupus Domesticus will return with the tame in tow. Search and Retrieve- When set to "Search and Retrieve" Canis Lupus Domesticus will collect near by items, drops, and bags, Spawning - Canis Lupus Domesticus generally spawn in location where Ovis are found. May even be found protecting the Ovis from natural predators. Pack bonus- Canis Lupus Domesticus recieve a pack bonus when they are with other Canis Lupus Domesticus and dire wolves Taming -Passive Tame- crouch or maybe sit emote near the Canis Lupus Domesticus. Canis Lupus Domesticus will become interested in the survivor. Initially circling the survivor, eventually coming up to you. Give it kibble or pet it depending on what it wants. It will back away and circle again. This repeats until tamed when tamed it will sit down in front of you. Taming one and it will be a Survivors Best Friend
  18. Wild "If you are ever swimming through the vast oceans, you'll want to keep an eye out for Tethysaurus. These galvanised proto-mosasaurs have electric capabilities similar to Electrophorus, being capable of shocking prey to corral them, almost like a sheepdog nipping at the heels of the flock. However, a singular Tethysaurus can only corral small fish. It is when they group together that they become a real threat. I once saw a pod of 20 or so Tethys manage to corral a Leedsichthys away from their breeding grounds! other survivors have also claimed that Tethys are capable of speeding just above the water's surface, but I myself am unsure if they speak the truth." Tamed "Adult Tethysaurus are nigh impossible to domesticate, with many who have attempted it having met a shocking end. The only survivors I have met who had tamed Tethys had made a daring journey to the bottom of the sea to steal Tethy eggs from their two breeding grounds; located within strange air pockets that shouldn't exist. However, those that succeded gained a powerful ally, with tamed Tethys being able to scare off even the most dangerous oceanic predators with their electricity. Some tribes even use them when raiding others, for despite their slow land speed they can emit a constant electric field to jam electronic devices." Taming To tame a Tethysaurus, you must steal an egg from one of the underwater domes deep in the oceans of The Center. Once you have done this, you must hatch said egg and raise the baby to adulthood, and voila, your own Tethysaurus. Abilities Left click: Bite (Low damage, quick, applies a very weak bleed) Right click: Electric burst (Can be used even when being stunned by electrophorus & jellies, deals moderate damage and pushes enemies back) G: Ability Wheel (Choose which abilities are assigned to C & X) Ability Wheel: 1: Directional Shock (Causes target to move in the opposite direction to the one you shocked them from for 3-6s) 2: Electric Field (Disrupts electronics within a certain radius which only the rider can see.   19. Hello all! This is only my 2nd attempt to come up with a creature for this so take it easy on me I hope you enjoy! This is the Vulpikala, and was heavily inspired by the Vulpes Qiuzhudingi, which is an extinct Arctic Fox believed to be the ancestor of todays modern fox breeds. Of course my creation is not an arctic fox but after generations in the toxic areas of Aberration, It has adapted some extremely unique abilities and traits in order to survive and thrive. NOTE: This is a Hybrid shoulder pet and mountable tame! How? Well Continue and you will see Vulpes qiuzhudingi Paleozoic Period Omnivore Curious / Defensive WILD The Vulpikara spent a great deal of their existance in blistering cold conditions, but upon traveling to this toxic zone, their everyday lifestyles have changed. They spend most of their days as a cute and innocent "fennic" like creature, and love to sit in trees where they playfully observe others. They have been known to "fetch" goodies for those they admire and in some cases become attached to them. They are mainly herbivores eating the fruits of the trees, but when provoked will not pass up a kill. When the Vulpikala feels the need to protect itself, it draws forth the radiation it has stored in its body to undergo a massive transformation, Going from cute and cuddly to LARGE and Formidable! If you are among those that have provoked this creatures transformation, be ready for a true test of speed and power. The true rival of the Vulpikala has always been known to be the Rock Drake. When it senses one of these creatures nearby, it starts to release a trailing glow as it moves signifying that the Vulpikala is warning its master and preparing for battle. Little is known as to why they dislike the Drakes so much, but it is believed this is due to their young being hunted and slaughtered by the drakes for many years. The size of the Vulpikala in full form dominates that of the Thylacoleo. DOMESTICATED Those who have become imprinted on by a Vulpikara have told tales of both true companionship and mystical experiences. The Vulpikara have been changed by the radiation of this abberant zone in a way like no other creature. When they or their partner are in danger, they waste little time leaping into battle from their shoulder and transforming into their full size in a flash that leaves those that see it in awe. This transformation startles all attackers as if they have been paralyzed for a brief time, allowing the Vulpikala and rider enough time to escape or fight. The Vulpikala can be ridden in this stage without a saddle, and is said to have the speed of a lightning bolt when it leaps out of danger, bouncing between cliffs and trees. If the Vulpikala finds itself in a battle it cannot win, it lets out a screech that disorients its opponent, and it releases all of its radiation to the surrounding area causing the Vulpikala to revert to its original form, but giving its master the time to escape as the cloud slows all creatures briefly, and pacifies smaller creatures. Vulpikala have been known to be an explorers best companion in the deepest zones of Aberration. Not only does it give you a get out of jail free tactic when it leaps into battle to save its master, but its ability to leap from cliff to cliff in a flash scaling even the most vertical of cliffs makes it a must have to escape any situation in the deepest depths. It is also an Ideal companion for stealing dino eggs from nests in the blink of an eye. The Vulpikala may transform to protect its master without being told to do so, but it is also known that some masters have forced this transformation at their will using a gas like substance only found in this area. TAMING In order to make one of these adorable creatures your companion, one must first create a bond with the Vulpikala. Once you locate one, approach it with ease as you do not want to both provoke it or scare it away. The Vulpikala will then decide if you are interesting enough to approach as they are extremely curious but prideful creatures. If it approaches you without incident, you then give it a "Toxic Substance" to empower the Vulpikala, then you have started the "Battle Bond" taming method. Once transformed the creature will protect you at all costs but its transformation has 2 side effects. First off it will cause all visible creatures to go into a frenzy, making them attack you without reason. Second, the Vulpikala also starts to build a frenzy meter as you battle along side it. With every kill the Vulpikala gets closer and closer to bonding with you fully but it also gains frenzy. Once frenzied its eyes glow red and it lets out a screech like no other that stuns all creatures around including yourself and attacks without mercy. If you are not lucky enough to get away in time, you may be its next victim. After the frenzy it reverts back to its cute former self and the process continues. Once tamed, the Vulpikala's "Battle Bond" with you is much like an imprint from baby to parent, but forged by the battle itself. The quality of this buff is determined by your skill as a tamer. NOTE: You cannot approach a wild Vulpikala with a tamed creature to start the taming process, and you cannot use a tamed creature to help you battle bond to it. The Vulpikala, as stated previously, is a prideful creature and will only bond with those fearless enough to fight at its side as one. SHOULDER FORM ABILITIES When on the ground, you can whistle the Vulpikala to attack any creature of its size. It has even been know to leap into the air and pull Icthyornis and Dimorphodon strait out of the sky. It has also been known that if it is wandering around on its own it can dig up and find valuable resources for its master. When shouldered, the Vulpikala soothes the master's mind allowing for any buffs applied to itself and allied mounts to last longer. Also reduces stamina consumption. FULL FORM ATTACKS Left Click - Bite attack that hits twice. Once for the initial bite, and once for ripping away flesh. Right click - A claw based slashing attack that damages and bleeds everything in a cone in front of you. C - Used to consume any "Toxic Substance" it is holding and let out a screech that buffs its speed and stamina regen for itself and all allies in the area. (While under these affects, the Vulpikala emits a light in the area due to the radiation consumed. Works like a glow pet.) CTRL - Cosmetic Howl CONCLUSION In my opinion the Vulpikala would be a perfect addition to Aberration as they are swift, can scale cliffs and dangerous areas with ease but in a unique way, and can protect their master with their many defensive traits and offensive traits. Plus the ability to steal the eggs of its only rival is pretty cool in itself I would love to hear your opinions below that could help me shape this creature even more!   20. name: ampelo Species: ampelosaurus rex time: Late cretaceous temperament: neutral Wild Ampelosaurus once mistaken for a diplodocus are large and semi armored herbivore that wonder around in the green zone but some have been spotted in the blue zone. this herbivore is mostly left alone by herbivores and carnivores alike even when unconscious or weakened. its large size can case roll rats to come out of their burrows and small amounts of objects to come out of the ground domesticated- ampelosaurus can slice open any adversaries you face with its enlarged osteoderms and does extra damage to large animals like reapers, drakes ,spinos, etc. Its spiked armor can cause damage to animals that attack it similar to the kentrosaurus but it also takes reduced damage like the stegosaurus. the animal is rideable and can carry up to 6 people at once. taming- to tame this titan you need to one first and get a ampelosaurus spike and mix it with 5 polymer in a chemistry bench. after mixing the 2 objects to will get 1 organic cure and you will need to eat this mixture and you will not die from eating organic polymer for 400 seconds. after eating this mixture you will have to eat 1 organic polymer and will let off a rare flower like that will make ALL ampelosaurus close by angry and attack. during this state you can not knock the out and tame it with barries or kibble. utility LMB: a tail attack that can cause the gnashed ability and (at base level/level 1) does 56 damage. RMB: a stomp that can harvest almost every type of resource and (at base level/level 1) does 96 damage. LCTRL: A roar that can stun all small and medium small dinos (like a mix of the baryonyx tail attack and yuty roar). V: Amit a light pet like glow that for 250 seconds makes all dinos and playesr near by immune to radiation and nameless.
  21. Cave Lion. Also known as the Eurasian cave Lion, it is an extinct Panthera species. It likely evolved in Europe after the third Cromerian interracial stage, which was less than 600,000 years ago. It became extinct about 13,000 years ago. I ran out of time so I didn't get the dossier finished or what the female Lion, or tek saddle would look like but here is what I have for my suggestion. Dossier info: The cyan like stripes are meant to be like the aberrant glow that's seen on the Aberration creatures. Taming; This creature can only be tamed by stealing the baby away from its parents. Either by killing or luring the parents away will make the baby tameable. The baby cave Lion will run from you at first meaning you will need to sneak up on it to feed it, once taming is half way you will gain its trust and it will no longer run away from you. While taming the baby’s maturation will be in stasis until it is tamed, its preferred food is cooked mutton, or extraordinary kibble. The baby cave lion's level will be based off of the parents. Breeding; The cave Lion can be bred like any normal mammal creature, giving a live birth. Rideable; While this creature is rideable it will require a saddle. This creature comes with two options for a saddle. The first saddle is a simple primitive like saddle, the second saddle once unlocked is a Tek saddle needing element shards to shoot from either mini gun that positioned on either side of its shoulders. Abilities This creature has a bleed ability. Male cave lions have the ability to roar which can cause a player to be dismounted as though the creature that was being ridden had bucked the player off out of fear. Players have a chance of being stunned, this ability has a cool down. This ability will not work on large creatures. Female cave lions can pounce, and pinned down their prey similar to a thylacoleo except they don’t need to hide in the trees. Photos from the web.

Well, I know that "big" theropods that deal high damage are generic, but in the case of Aberration vannila, one thing that is missing is options for strong creatures to face the Boss, we have only 4 options: Spinosaurus, Megalosaurus, Reaper and Rock Drakes , not to mention that this is the only map we don't have any damage buffer like Yutyrannus or health regeneration like Daeodon, so a relatively strong buffer to use on the Boss would be something useful.   24. Iani Smithi. It's an iguanadontian, but being known for having teeth rather than a bill and a strong jaw I thought it could be a cool pack-type dino. Since Carnivores have been so popular and people want more herbivores this could be a good in between. Like they get a buff of bleed and the broken bone thing when either in a pack or given a certain food(rare flower/mushroom or beer). They would be more the size of raptors than the size of the normal iguanodon. This would also mean being less bulky and more offensive stat wise. The inspiration for it being an aggresive dino is it's name being inspired by Janus, the two-faced roman god. And it's name also relates to change, this being the map where Rockwell went through his big change I thought this would be a fitting addition. Since it would be for ab, it could keep the iguanodon skill of not using stam, while also being able to climb on vines/ropes like ravagers. Also being in ab it could take advantage of the glow effect. It would have patches of skin that could be very vibrant and it's special ability would be to glow very brightly for a short amount of time confusing big predators and scaring off small ones. This would give it time to escape because it isn't built for fighting larger dinos(if they wanted to make it stronger they could make it able to jump on large dinos like deinonychus or even climb walls 😂). It's passive skills would be the unlimited stam buff and a weight reduction on crystal, gems, and gas. One suggestion I've seen is to make it immune to stuns so that it could counter shadowmanes. They have a glow affect like glow pets/bugs. They are attracted to light so you could use lamps or flares to lead them where you want. To tame them you will need to beat them to low health. once they are low health they will glow brightly and run to the nearest source of light (lamp, flare, glowbug, glow pet, aberrant dino, fire) as a source of comfort and lay down. Once they lay down you can passive tame them. This would take the form of taking care of them by feeding them or petting them till tamed. As offense based herbivores they would be territorial like a Therizino or chalico. They would aggro to anything that gets too close. When they get low on health they would use their flashbang ability to escape danger. Iani smithi
  25. In real life Aethiocarenus is from an extinct order of instects. and it had glands in its neck that were likely used to disperse chemicals to protect itself. In ark it will be a bit bigger than a sabertooth and rideable. Abilities Gas & smoke aetiocarenus can create large gas and smoke clouds the gas clouds do damage but will stay lower to the ground. it and its rider can see inside the clouds. climbing it can climb on any surface. Narcotic production when it uses its toxins sometimes some will remain that you can use as narcotics Taming its a simple knock out tame except for the fact that it only takes torpor in its clouds meaning you will have to shoot it in very reduced visibility
