Pycnonemosaurus - the mighty dragon
ILikeReptiles posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Hi dear survivors I would like to introduce pychnonemosaurus nevesi to you.Pycnonemosaurus is a genus of carnivorous theropod dinosaur that belonged to the family Abelisauridae. It was found in the Upper Cretaceous red conglomerate sandstones of the "Cabembe Unit", Mato Grosso, Brazil, and it lived about 70 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous. Wikipedia link - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pycnonemosaurus Wild Pychnonemasaurus is the most colorful specie on extinction. They look very similar to Carno but slightly bigger. It's believed that they live everywhere from the hot desert, to the cold polar desert, even in wasteland. The most interesting specie lives in the wasteland, it changed a lot element changed it.Pychno is probably one of the best hunters on extinction. Domesticated Tamed pychnos are probably the best companions. All depends on the place pychno is from, for example if pychno was found in the desert it has a lot of heavy armor plates and desert colors, if pychno was found in the forest it has bright colors and a lot of spikes on its body, if pychno was found in the polar desert it has blue-white colors and finally if it was found in the wasteland it has purple colors ABILITIES: Wasteland pychno: 1.Increased damage to corrupted.Wasteland pychnos deal more damage to corrupted creatures than regular dinos. 2.Elemental discharge.Wasteland pychno can throw a massive discharge that will disable tek equipment(any) and deal decent amount of damage. 1lvl - 80 This ability works only if it's charged to charge the ability you need to feed your pychno with corrupted hearts. 3.Fast speed. This specie is faster than desert and ice but slower than forest. Desert pychno: 1.Heavy armor plates. This specie has really strong armo.It gets like 40% less dmg than other creatures. 2.Grabbing.Like megalo this specie can grab riders off their tames and deal damage. 3.Speed.The slowest pychno Ice Pychno 1.Cold breath.Like managarmr this specie is able to freeze creature for a short time. 2.Slowing.After being hit by this specie you are being slowed for a short time. 3.Speed.Slower than forest and wasteland but faster than desert. Forest pychno 1.Tracking.It's able to track all creatures nearby and see lvls. 2. Sharp teeth. This specie has very sharp teeth that can cause bleeding(-5%hp) 3.Speed.The fastest pychno specie. ART WORK(the art work was done by me solo and everything was done by me too) -
This idea is an attempt of a non-sauropod herbivore capable of facing large carnivores, together with an original idea that unites the concept of nature to a creature. And what better animal than a deer, since throughout history the deer has been an animal with which forests were commonly represented. I hope you like both the design and the new skills. The Eucladocero is an extinct animal similar to the megalocero, however this idea is a mixture of the Eucladoceros with a concept of a mythological spirit guardian of the forests, in such a way that it would be two or three times larger than the known megalocero. * By antlers the megalocero of ark is more similar to a moose while the Eucladocerous would be more like a deer. Being a mix between these three images: Size comparison: (similar to a rex) Skills: 1- The main ability of this creature is to randomly create all kinds of natural resources in a certain area that will take 10 minutes to disappear, this ability will spend all its energy at once, and the more energy it has, the greater the area where it will create various resources to farm, except for resources of animal origin, In this way we could obtain resources that do not appear on the map in which we play. These are the resources that you can farm: (With higher level greater rarity of resources) 2- The vegetation that surrounds his body provides accelerated healing when damaged, as well as invulnerability to bleeding and a small resistance to physical blows and weapons. 3- Being hit causes reverse damage to its opponent due to its antlers and pointed plants of its body, the more damage they do the more damage the attacker will receive, just like the kentrosaurus. 4- It stuns in area the dinosaurs and people with the spores of its body, giving it the advantage of escaping or more easily finishing with any prey of any size that is, this will last about 10 seconds and its respective cooldown. Attacks: - Basic attack: Strike with powerful horns. - Stomping: By giving a strong stomp it causes 13% more damage than the horn and also by shaking abruptly its body releases spores in area that stune the rival. - Generator: this does not inflict damage, but it does generate resources randomly in a certain area according to its energy. The Eucladocer would have the following characteristics: - Habitat: Jungles or redwood forests (Limited Spawn, similar to Quetzal, Giganotosaurus...) - Behavior: Neutral (It will attack you when being hit or when collecting or damaging any resource from non-animal origin around it, since it is the protector of forests) - Food: Herbivorous - Mount: No platform. (Since it is a naturalistic concept) Tameo: Passive For the sieve of the Eucladocero the use of re-fertilizer is required, this should be used next to it and will give the Eucladocero an aura that will indicate that it can be fed by the types of berries or vegetables that it demands, this process must be repeated as many times as necessary each time the aura is removed. Description: The Eucladocerus is a solitary animal without natural enemies, this has a large size, health and its resistant and large antlers that together with its aforementioned skills makes it one of the only herbivores capable of facing large carnivores such as the rex, giganotosaurs or carcharodontosaurs and emerge victorious. When you finish with the Eucladoceros the vegetation around it will change for 5 minutes to a desert biome with a sandy soil with rocks and burned trees, representing the death of a part of the forest. The Eucladocero will contain in its inventory a seed that can be obtained after sleeping or finishing with it, this is the "Sanatio Seed" or "S seed", unlike the rest of seeds this rots over time, but if it is planted in time in an orchard we can farm flowers such as those of its back, the "Sanatio Flower" or "S Flower", This will instantly cure 25% of the health of whoever eats it, both character and any of your dinosaurs. The seed is unique, so each Eucladoceros will only give 1 and when planted in a garden will not give any more seeds. * Sanatio = healing in Latin

tick Eophrynus, the shoulder mounted bug repellent.
duncanosthesecond posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
The Eophrynus prestvicii is a predatory early arachnid that was similar to a tick or a spider. it lived in carboniferous Europe. It was around 2.5 centimeters but my interpretation of the animal for ark would be around the size of a jerboa. In the ark world it would spawn in all the forested areas except for the Redwood, Where it will crawl on the ground among the bushes. It is a passive tame. It is tamed with a new item. The jar of ants. The jar of ants can be obtained by crafting a water jar. If the water jar is empty, it can be used on a Titanomyrma (drone or soldier) as long as its under 20 percent of its health. This will result in the Titanomyrma dissapearing and the empty jar turning into a jar of ants. With every jar of ants fed, the taming bar ofcourse goes up, until it is tamed. (When feeding a jar of ants, the jar will also disappear along with the ant. This is ofcourse not realistic but it makes the taming a little bit harder by not being able to reuse the jar and needing to craft multiple.) It is not aggressive and will run away when it notices a player. However it will attack Titanomyrma and meganeura by jumping and latching onto them and draining health. Once tamed, it can feed on spoiled meat or chitin. It can sit on the shoulder of the player. The Eophrynus can be set on a latching mode. If this mode is on (wich can be done in the settings) once it is removed from the shoulder it will be thrown by the player and any enemy player or wild/enemy tame that it hits it will latch onto. This will result in a bleeding effect that also deals torpor damage. It will un attach and return to the shoulder of its Master if it goes below half health. If it is thrown on a player it will attach to the players face. this impairs the players vision. But it can be removed similar to a leech. There is also a patrolling mode. If this is on it will wonder around and attack only wild bug animals. Since it does increased damage on bugs. Including but not limited to: the arthropleura, pulminoscorpius and araneo. This is very useful as it will keep annoying bugs away from the desired area. In this mode it can also follow and attack any nearby bugs. Now onto its main ability. In the settings there are four modes. One is the normal mode, where it will just sit on the shoulder. Two is the previously described latching and patrolling mode. The third one is the caving mode. (Not necessarily caving but it would be very useful in caves.) Once this mode is on it will act normally, until it is fed a jar of ants. After that the Eophrynus will inflict the bug reppellent effect on the player on wich it is mounted. There is a stat that can be leveled. The higher this stat is the longer the bug reppellent effect will last. this would make it very useful for caving. However there is a long cooldown for this ability that i will let the ark devs decide the length of, as i do not know what the optimal cooldown time would be. but it can also just be set on follow and aggressive, since it ofcourse does increased damage on bug creatures.
