  1. Looking to join a tribe that has is active. I play on a PlayStation and I have a little over 400 hours on Ascended and a little over 400 hours on Evolved. I have only started playing this about a month ago but have been doing expensive research to play catch up to others in the game. Looking to farm, build, mine, and other tasks that will allow for the progression of the Tribe. Any information pertaining to joining will be much appreciated.
  2. Minotaurasaurus, the wasteland juggernaut-tank! (I don't have anything to draw my art online :P) (above): Male Minotaurasaurus (below): Female Minotauruasaurus Basic Info: Common Name: Minotaurasaurus / Minotaur Species name: Minotaurasaurus dimachaerus Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Territorial / Aggressive towards tek Dossier: Wild: Living in the harsh and unforgiving climate that is now Earth, this ankylosaurid species has adapted to withstand all sorts of torment that gets thrown at it. In addition to sporting more heavy-plated armor than seen on any dinosaur, The minotaur here has undergone high levels of sexual dimorphism. The male “bulls” are seen to have larger horns on top of their heads and sport large hammer-like clubs, perfect for crushing their opponents. The females, although less aggressive, will fend for themselves if needed with their razor-sharp plates that run down the majority of their tails. Domesticated: When tamed, players will find that both genders of the minotaur have their own separate yet valuable utilities. The males are very efficient at gathering finer resources, such as element dust from veins and spark powder from rock, due to their powerful swings. The females are instead better at harvesting the more delicate resources that can be collected from corpses and are, as a result, one of the best creatures for harvesting corrupted nodules. Additionally, due to the minotaurs’ aggressive nature, they turn out to be quite effective in combat and may prove to be valuable assets in PVP situations and boss fights alike. (above): online art and reference for the minotaurasaurus I found online. Behavior: The Minotaur is not aggressive unless something/someone gets too close to it. Additionally, the minotaur will become aggressive if it senses tek/corrupted creatures nearby., which involves extinction-exclusive creatures such as managarmrs, snow owls, etc. the minotaur will immediately become aggressive towards enemy players/creatures that have tek equipped. Utility: Left click: tail swing standard tail swing like that of the ankylo. Can harvest berries Gender-specific resource gain as well males: spark powder, flint, element dust, etc Females: raw meat, raw prime meat, raw mutton, organic polymer, and corrupted nodules Right click: Heavy swing Minotaur takes a step forward and swings its tail as hard as it can, delivering a heavy blow with its club in front of it. Cooldown between uses (~10s) Destroys and harvests resources with slightly higher yield Damages structures (up to metal when tamed) Male debuff - Fracture (Creatures hit by the male minotaur’s heavy swing are knocked down for a few seconds and afterward lose the capability of sprinting and flying for a period of time. Cooldown to debuff applied) Female debuff - deep wound (creature affected loses some health and stamina to bleed over a period of time. Cooldown to debuff applied) 😄 tail slam slams down its tail onto the ground behind itself, having a reasonably large AOE, and affects the area below itself in case any pesky creatures/players try to hide underneath it. Space: Hunker down The minotaur lays/crouches down, protecting its underbelly and taking reduced damage (will be applied to already existing resistances), as well as being immune to knockback. Minotaur cannot attack in this position, but it permits the usage of weaponry/ tek saddle usage. Extra attack - Bellow: Ridden minotaurs will roar in a bovine-like fashion. This is purely cosmetic. Taming: Utilizing the minotaur’s hatred towards corrupted creatures, survivors can befriend one while battling the hordes of creatures from element veins. After gaining its trust by feeding it a certain amount of food/kibble, you will be able to ride the minotaur wild and without a saddle for a set amount of time, where you will then take it with you and complete an element vein with it. The minotaur will be okay if you use other creatures to fight alongside it and will not take damage from allied tames. You will not lose taming effectiveness as long as it does not receive too much damage (below 30% hp), which can be solved by feeding it veggie cakes or healing with the snow owl whenever needed. The minotaur will also receive a healing buff after every wave is complete. The minotaur will always tame after the end of a vein, but its tame efficiency depends on the health of the element vein. For a lv.150 minotaur on 1x: 10k = 33% tame effectiveness 25k = 66% tame effectiveness 50k = 100% tame effectiveness Harvesting: Males tend to be quite aggressive regarding their swing, often trying to pulverize whatever is in front of them. Because of this, valuable ores that the rider may wish to acquire will be left in an unusable state. However, the pulverized rock obtained can be used instead to produce gunpowder. The male can also harvest high yields of element dust from veins, making it helpful in gathering dust for off-server transfer. Gathers: Flint Sparkpowder Element dust Berries Females having axe-like clubs are not able to destroy rocks as efficiently. Instead, Females’ tails are more adept at cutting into flesh, making them excellent for harvesting more deluxe meats from corpses and the corrupted flesh that resides within infected creatures of the wastelands. Gathers: Hide Raw Meat Raw Prime Meat Raw Mutton Organic Polymer Corrupted Nodules Berries Note: both genders can still “harvest” the resources that the other can attack, but this will result in minimal/no yield (except for Berries) Strengths/weaknesses: Strengths: Increased damage dealt to tek/corrupted creatures (2-3x damage) Decreased damage taken from tek/corrupted creatures (0.5-0.33x damage) Reduced damage taken from firearms/projectiles on armoured body parts (0.5x damage). This buff includes turrets. Reduced damage taken from firearms/projectiles to the tail club and head (0.25x damage) Yutyrannus cannot fear it. Weakness: Increased damage is taken from Velonosaurs (1.5x damage) Increased damage is taken from Managarmrs (1.5x damage) Underbelly and lower back legs have no damage mitigation (regular damage taken) Minotaur is not very fast. The minotaur may be unable to defend itself from flying creatures efficiently, but this may be avoided depending on how its AOE looks. Roles: Gunpowder production: Male minotaur's high flint and spark powder yield makes producing large amounts of gunpowder very convenient. Element dust farmer: Males can get the nearly total value of an element vein’s worth in dust, making it worth having one not to lose the ⅕ return value from city terminals, not to mention their high weight reduction on element dust, making carrying high quantities of dust a breeze. High-quality meat harvester: Females with their sharper tails can collect much higher amounts of prime meat from corpses, making it helpful in taming and producing specific recipes. OSD/Vein Defender: With their buffs against corrupted creatures, the minotaur would be an excellent candidate for defending OSDs and element veins from the hordes of corrupted creatures. Boss fighter: with its high health and damage, the minotaur may prove helpful when wanting to fight the bosses of the other arks (keep in mind that its special abilities would most likely not be applied to bosses) Equipment: Minotaurasaurus saddle: a standard saddle like that of any creature. The player would be seated on the ridge of the minotaur’s back. Minotaurasaurus tek artillery saddle: Resembling an in-real-life tank cannon, this is a saddle that sports a long-range tek cannon that does heavy damage but has a relatively large blind spot around the minotaur. Minotaur needs to be in its hunker-down stance to use this saddle. Weight reduction: Element dust: 80% Flint: 50% Sparkpowder: 50% Organic polymer: 50% Corrupted Nodules: 50% Passives: Tek rival: When tek/corrupted creatures are nearby the minotaur, it gains a buff similar to the trike’s rivalry buff. This would give it the rivalry buff applied against tek/corrupted creatures. . Full body rotation: The minotaur can turn around 360 degrees without walking, making it far easier to maneuver than other creatures. Design: The Minotaur is only known by its bony skull, so some creative liberty has been taken to make it better fit Ark. The in-game minotaur is larger than its real-world counterpart and slightly larger than an in-game Stego. It has plate-like osteoderms covering most of its back and flat plates/spikes along the sides of its belly. Sexual dimorphism is displayed mainly through the tail and horns of the minotaur, where males have a large hammer-like club at the end of their tails and more prominent horns on their heads. Females instead have more sharp plates running down their tails, and their tails are slightly longer and covered in blades like that of the stegouros. (above: reference for the female Minotaur’s tail) Here are some reasons why I think you should vote for this creature, in no particular order: Ark has only one ankylosaurid, and with magmasaurs&striders now in the game, it has made them mostly obsolete past early game. The Minotaur, while being a larger and stronger ankylosaurid, does not overshadow the anky’s metal-gathering abilities. It gives the game a new mid-large-sized herbivore capable of taking on a broad niche of uses in the game. It is not “the giga” of herbivores. It is not supposed to be overly strong or large, and I am not following the “insert name” Giga of the “insert niche here” format that has been posted countless times. I think it's fitting to have a literal tank as the creature of choice for taking on the many dangers of extinction. If any of this interests you, please read the extra information below and vote if you like it! Some of it is just ideas/concepts, so take everything with a grain of salt and add suggestions below where you see fit. NOTE: everything I have written is just ideas to get this creature to fit nicely into this map and ARK. If you feel something needs to be fixed, is too overpowered, or needs to stand out more, please feel free to voice your opinion. I would like to make this submission appealing to all players, but at the end of the day, it is up to Wildcard to implement the features of this creature.
  3. Estemmeno is back! And this time ready for Extinction! If you were around (probably not...) during the Center vote, you may have seen our take on Estemmenosuchus, my favourite synapsid, so we're bringing him back and this time themed to be 100% fit for survival in the corrupted world of Extinction! Now onto the Dossier Common name: Estemmeno Species name: Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris Time: Mid Permian Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild I am entirely convinced that Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris has no fears, they will fight anything that imposes a threat against them to the very end. I can't stress enough just how dangerous an encounter with Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris is, they aren't like any other Estemmenosuchus specimen, they are far different, they're aggressive, strictly carnivorous, and lay eggs, almost as if most of their genetics have been modified heavily. Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris is an remarkably terrifying predator and even the corrupted creatures fear going near to it's presence, which I partly understand, I don't know how to describe it but Estemmenosuchus seems to hurt corrupted creatures by far more than it can to regular creatures, maybe it is their seemingly natural taste for the corrupted nodules that can at times be found, I've seen survivors guiding the corrupted towards Estemmenosuchus and just see as they begin to swarm the corrupted slowly, did I mention they hunt in packs? Domesticated I don't know of anyone who has been brave enough (and/or dumb enough) to try and attempt taming an Estemmenosuchus Ultimadentaris specimen, in fact, I don't think anyone has tamed one as of yet, however, I know of many survivors who show an interest in taming Estemmenosuchus, which checks out, their amazing hunting capabilities as well as their increased speed when under pressure can make a formidable tame, especially against the twisted results of what Element has done to other creatures. Perhaps a way to tame them is by aiding them in a fight that they almost die to, slowly earning their trust, narcotics definetly seem to not work, and hand-feeding them would be feeding them your hand, I also highly doubt they'll let you 10 feet near their young or eggs, but then again, this continues to be nothing other than a theory. And that was the dossier! Of course, we had to change it for it to stand out more, now onto the abilities of an Estemmenosuchus and why you should tame it - Increased Damage to all corrupted creatures; This means that if you're ever in some trouble with creatures that are even slightly corrupted, Estemmenosuchus will deal increased damage and will take less damage against Corrupted creatures, this also includes to creatures like Velanosaurus and Managarmr. - Pack mindset; As stated earlier, Estemmenosuchus spawns and will be in packs, these packs can be of 6-8 members, you will likely see the leader far away from the pack, just remember, if you see an Estemmenosuchus, their buddies are around too, you're always being watched. - Taming method; Trust gain, instead of stealing their eggs, killing their pack, knocking out, or passive taming, you'll have to lower Estemmenosuchus' health, and afterwards guide it towards a Corrupted Creature, to help Estemmenosuchus killing them, afterwards a trust meter will begin to go up, after the first creature killed, Estemmenosuchus will not chase you, after the second creature killed, Estemmenosuchus will follow you slowly, after the third creature killed, Estemmenosuchus will follow you completely, after the fourth creature killed, you may ride Estemmenosuchus for additional protection, finally, the fifth creature marks the completion of the trust meter, and Estemmenosuchus will be yours, note that this excludes the "pseudo-corrupted creatures" like managarmr, velanosaurus, gasbags, gachas, etc. - Crazed Ego; if Estemmenosuchus begins getting damaged a lot by a corrupted creature, it's ego will be hurt, and it will become enraged and it's attacks would work similarly to the Tek Claws from Gen 1, it will slowly begin dealing more and more damage to the creature, this buff will apply to the pack as well. The Pros of tamed Estemmenosuchus - Corrupted and Boss Killing; Due to the buff that Estemmenosuchus recieves against Corrupted Creatures, it would be quite optimal to use these boys to go on runs for Corrupted Nodules, killing Titans with additional backup, and even Orbital Supply Drops, just be sure to have them well-leveled, otherwise it won't end up as good. - Psuedo-Tank; Estemmenosuchus will be beefy and will hit like a truck, it may tank a lot of hits and considering the Crazed Ego buff ontop of the Pack Buff, it makes it a very good tame for people who want to go out on crazy runs, or want to absolutely demolish a Titan with these dudes. - Kind of Trusty Companion; No matter the circumstance, be it torpor, be it low health, Estemmenosuchus will fight for you to defend you if you're dying, no matter what, it is willing to give it's life for yours, and it will ensure to do it if it has to. - No fears; it takes multiple roars from Yutyrannus to scare Estemmenosuchus away. - Versatility; Estemmenosuchus is incredibly versatile, wanna run through the wastelands? This guy will cross you through without hesitation, Wanna go to the Desert Dome? He's got you covered too, he'll keep you alive and will beat anything that DARES attack you, wanna go to the Snow Dome? He's got you covered, ain't NO managarmr attacking you, ain't NO yuty scaring bro, wanna go to the Crater Forest and build a base? You and your Estemmenosuchus will build a little house together. - EXTREMELY useful in PVE/PVP; Estemmenosuchus is WORTH taming by all means, it's combined abilities make it an extremely worth-it tame to obtain, it'd deal a lot of damage to creatures which are used a lot which could possibly be a game changer whilst in combat. The Cons of tamed Estemmenosuchus - Fatso; If you overwork your Estemmenosuchus by not properly feeding it, or making it overuse it's stamina, it will knock you off and just sit there until you properly feed it or it's stamina regenerates, note this doesn't apply if the survivor is about to die. - Tedious taming; Taming Estemmenosuchus will be EXTREMELY grinded, they can only spawn on selective zones of the wasteland and rarely, obviously not rarer than like, idk, a Corrupted max level Giga, but definetly rarely, it will be a very RNG-Based taming and spawn, as well as a max level Estemmenosuchus isn't always guaranteed - Reduced utility outside of extinction; Estemmenosuchus sounds OP in paper, but in a map outside of extinction it is practically just another high-damage dealing carnivore, this doesn't mean they'd be weak, quite the contrary actually, but Estemmenosuchus excells in Extinction and other maps that include corrupted creatures or the after-mentioned "pseudo-corrupted" creatures - Taming rates don't affect procedure; No matter your taming rates, be it times 100 taming speed it will ALWAYS take 5 victorious battles against corrupted creatures. - Overall PVE/Solo/Small Tribe challenge; Since taming Estemmenosuchus would be such a tedious and long process, a big tribe would be prefferable to find the corrupted dinos and keeping Estemmenosuchus in one place, not to mention guiding the preffered specimen away from the pack. - Pack requierments; Similarly to gachas, Estemmenosuchus will get sad if it doesn't have a pack. Saddle Estemmenosuchus' Saddle unlocks at Level 73, beggining with Late Game ARK; It will have the following requierments: 120 Metal Ingots/Scrapped Metal Ingots 180 Cementing paste 400 Hide 80 polymer/organic polymer/corrupted nodules 20 crystalized blue sap 15 crystalized red sap 60 sulfur The reasoning behind this is for Estemmenosuchus to be a tame that is worth it and at the same time not something you'll see everyone riding around with, making it expensive will make only the true survivors get the resources for this creatures saddle, the way the saddle works is that it'll give Estemmenosuchus a sort of helmet, which will exagerately extend protection from it's horns, therefore making it a sort of crest-like shield like that of Triceratops, the armor will also give the survivor protection from being flanked by enemy attackers, basically, it'd be worth it. Pack While Estemmenosuchus seems grindy, it is absolutely worth it to tame, and a pack of these? Is even MORE worth it. It is self explenatory, tame a pack of these, you get a buff, and if the leader of the pack roars, al the pack gets a buff. And that'd be IT (for now, at least) for ESTEMMENOSUCHUS! Art is coming VERY soon, so stay tuned, and as always ESTEMMENOFTW
  5. Neprodiregem is a crustation that resembles a lobster with giant fist like claws that work as a harvester under water that work extremely efficency even better then the anky it will move under water sort of like karkinos in the way that it cant swim and just walks instead it will have an ability where it can use its powerfull tail to swim only up to the surface in case your character needs air it will have really high base healthpool and base wieght the neprodiregem will have an ability to harvest silica pearls with to far smaller appendages under its body, neprodiregem will have 50% weight reduction on the following oil, metal, stone, obsidian and flint but only when underwater if you venture on to land with this guy he will recieve a debuff wich causes 20% reducaed walk speed and 20% less damage and on top of that it loses it wieght reducation but there is an upside if you give neprodiregem a water canteen the neprodiregem will gain all of its under water capabilitys for five minutes this can stack if given enough water, this giant lobster will also have two different saddles you will have the normal saddle with 25.0 armor and 20 wieght then you can have a muchmore expensive saddle wich will look something like metal around its fists and bodythis saddle will provide the rider and mount more armor and lots of damage but will reduce possible resouces from nodes. the neprodiregem will be a carnivore at the deepest parts of the ocean i have not chosen the taming style but i know it cant be tamed threw tanqs because its armor will not allow it. This Idea was made by a Friend of mine 👍
  6. Unlike its Ankylosaurus relative, this subspecies of the real Anodontosaurus is over 6.5 meters and reaches up to 9 meters, but this is a kind guy. Wild: You will find the Anodontosaurus usually grazing on large plains with its young, it is a gentle giant, but when attacking its young it will be a great opponent that can roll like a great steamroller crushing anyone in the way Method of taming: To have the anodontosaurus antliam as your partner, you will have to separate it from an adult as a puppy and feed it with vegetables or feed, since when it is small, it does not eat simple berries after great care, it will become fond of you and will be a new ally don't worry he will eat berries as an adult. Skills: Compression: This skill can only be used by equipping anodontosaur with a saddle where you roll out and your turn is more spaced but it is faster and tramples smaller creatures causing great damage. Tail Attack: An attack that farms rocks like the ankylosaur and does good damage. Bone break: when holding the tail attack a bar starts to charge and at 100% this attack deals 200% more damage and leaves the creature paralyzed. Bite: Fruit farming attack with little damage. Passive Skills: Thick Armor: This passive brings a 25% damage reduction from close range attacks and 50% damage reduction from explosions and ranged attacks. Grassland Giant: This buff happens when you walk your anodontosaurus in a grassland where it gains 15% more stamina which is its weak point. Dossier: I've seen many tribes looking for this giant of the grasslands for battles and resource farming since its bushy tail and skill combination is quite dangerous, but remember with great armor comes great nerds, this armored giant is commonly found in the beautiful landscapes of The center looking for roots to feed its young but when tamed and incredibly good for its tribe farming like ankylosaurus and defending with the strength of a rex
  7. There is already a post so check it here: Diprotodon was a genus of australian marsupials that went extinct around 46.000 years ago. They had a lifestyle like the actual wombats. In Ark, they have adapted to the wild and savage Aberration's conditions from the top (the surface) to the bottom (the deepest caves). They are a medium-late tame especially useful in every area, but they are sleepy too. DOSSIER WILD Diprotodon is a genus that contains 4 sub species that you can find on the fertile zone of Aberration's cave system. They look very peaceful and calm until you bother them while they take a nap. Diprotodon´s heavy weight helps them to carry up to two medium creatures such as ravagers, raptors... that can be released in the middle of a combat, or maintained on the saddle so they can use their abilities such as parasaur's roar. While they wander on the plains, they will randomly dig a small hole in the ground where you can find valuable items, with the help of an already tamed one, so it is a good idea to keep some wild specimens. DOMESTICATED To tame one of these gentle beasts you must play with them. They love to hide items underground and you will have to find them so your friendship will improve. Apparently, the Diprotodon sub-species only differ on their fur pattern, but they have plenty of different abilities. By now I have named them as: D.ven. they can unearth the hidden items underground and they can even track dinos or resources smelling their scent; D.gra. they have the ability to trample the ground breaking rocks, trees and bushes, and even stunning dinos; D.hyd. they can throw different items that are a good help for the combat, they have developed a fierce bite to face Aberration's biggest predators; and lastly, D.odo. (or also called as the hairy diprotodons), they have evolved their fur structure and now they can retain scents and other properties on their fur, with this skill they can survive on the wildest environments such as the burning surface, or even the radiated depths. Diprotodons spawn on the fertile green zone on small groups from 3 to 5 adult specimens and 1 or 2 babies, they wander and dig some holes on the ground hiding different objects like resources, weapons, tools... They like to sleep and are always calm, but if you approach too much while they are taking a nap or if you attack them, they will show their fierce side. It is a good idea to keep a small group on a medium enclosure wandering so you get free items similar to Gacha, but it is not that simple, you will need help from already tamed diprotodons (I will that explain later). The taming process is a bit complex (at first time), but it is fun too. you will have to find a baby alone, if the adults near see you they will attack you so you may have to kill them or take away the baby which is simpler. The babies are very curious and will follow you if you have honey or rare flower on the last spot of the tool bar (like Ferox do with element). To start the tame, you must give them one of the two items, then you will have to give them special ones such as crops, gems, pearls, sap... If the item is common the tame will increase only a bit, but if it´s a rare one such as black pearls, the tame will advance faster. Once you give them the item, they will knock you they will start digging a random number of holes from 4-8 (only for the first time); then after you wake up you will have to find the item hidden on one of the holes, if you don't, they will hit you and the taming effectiveness will decrease, you only have two opportunities for item and 3 opportunities to fail in each tame. This process would be easier with the help of a sniffer diprotodon that is able to smell if there is an item in the hole. Once tamed, you will have to care for the babies and feed them until they grow. But fortunately, if you have a female Diprotodon tamed, you will have Diprotodon milk (generated only on the female's inventory but slow because it is a useful item) this item helps them grow faster but they gain a buff so you cannot feed them milk all the time, just after a period of some minutes. As the dossier says, there are four distinct species, each one with their own pattern. All of them have some abilities in common: -High health and oxygen (while being in the water the player doesn´t lose oxygen because their fur retains bubbles of air underwater, so it is helpful for harvesting underwater resources). -They are immune to earthquakes because of their heavy weight (this means that the screen won´t move while there is an earthquake). -They can be mounted with or without saddle. The saddle is unlocked at a medium level and has two baskets to carry two small or medium dinos (from Dodos to Parasaurs). With another key (a different "attack") the dinos of the baskets are released and they attack if they are neutral/aggressive. -The main attack is a hit with one of their front legs, that deals damage on area. -They have fatigue level too (that could be a new stat for them) if this stat runs out, they will start to sleep, no matter where they are. This stat decreases using their species unique abilities. The milk can be used to for increasing this stat, so they do not fall sleep. The 4 fur patterns are: plain (sniffer), spotted (tank), stripped (hairy) and dotted (attacker). Their hair glows in the dark of the bio-luminescent region (with cyan, lilac, violet and blue tones) and the molten region (with pink, purple and red tones). The four sub-species have different abilities and a higher stat compared to the other ones: D.venatodix-plain/sniffer: -Higher stat: speed. -Sniff (new attack): can be used to check if there is an item on a hole; or to track dinos (you must sniff the death body of that dino species) or resources (you have to sniff the resource thrown on the ground). Then some marks like Parasaur's enemies will show you where the nearest dinos or resources of that kind are. D.gravirrus-spotted/tank: -Higher stat: weight. -Stomp (new attack): to stun dinos, break bushes, trees or rocks with their back legs. -While wandering they can pick up items from the ground such as earthquakes' items. D.odoriferum-stripped/hairy: -Higher stat: stamina. -They can cover their fur with different objects this ability consumes one item of the inventory every certain short interval of time and to start this ability there is a small bar of items on the left of the screen similar to Mek's gasoline level for choosing the item): sap (surface's sun protector), gas ball (immunity to radiation), rare flowers (the Diprotodon is followed by other Diprotodons and herbivore dinos), gems (increase defense) or insect repellent. -They can cover their fur with the scent of an object (you have to make them consume the item and they gain a buff for some seconds/minutes): nameless venom (the Diprotodon is ignored by nameless), reaper pheromone (reaper queens follow the Diprotodon so they can be trapped) and angler gel (the Diprotodon glows like small shoulder dinos like Shinehorn). D.hydrimicus-dotted/attacker: -Higher stat: damage. -They have a throwing attack that leaves an area on the ground. They can throw honey (slow down), gas balls (increases torpor) or oil (to burn it). This Diprotodon can stay on turret mode such as Velonasaur and consumes items from its inventory (like the sniffer, it has a bar to select the projectile). -They have a bite attack too. A well-planned Diprotodon formation won´t stop you exploration around the Aberration’s caves and surface. For example, to dive in radiation zones, a hairy Diprotodon will give the nearest creatures immunity to radiation. If your plan is to steal some Rockdrake’s eggs, some attacker Diprotodons as companions will help you to get rid of the beasts. You could even count on a tank to receive all the damage and a sniffer to find the eggs more easily. And this is not considering the dinos carried by them on their saddle. As you can see, each species has its own range of abilities, but combined with a good strategy they can face all the aberrant dangers that await them in this savage world. They are incredibly strong and adapted to every environment, but they have a weakness (already explained before), their sleepiness, that could lead to a failed battle. They may fall sleep on half of a combat, and their fatigue level cannot be increased by level points, so you must be conscious about that. DISCLAIMERS -I am not a professional artist I have tried my best on the dossier and the artworks. I would appreciate any advice for the next drawings. -All the drawings are mine except the dossier icons and templates. -The species names are not real; these names have been created by me combining Latin words related to their own abilities. The original species is Diprotodon optatum. -I know these are too many abilities for one creature but I think the game needs a multitasking ground creature. Any of these abilities can be modified and I would appreciate every advice or idea for the concept. -English is not my first language so please if there are any mistakes let me know on the comments. I am sorry in advance for any mistakes. My objective is to add different and unknown creatures to the game so they can be seen by new people that may discover their amazing potential. Of course, the extinct Diprotodon did not have these abilities, but they were amazing as all the creatures of our planet. I think Ark needs to deepen about australian extinct fauna (and Cenozoic megafauna too), Diprotodon is the third marsupial on the game and a new way to appreciate Australia's unusual fauna. Thank you so much for your attention. Only your view and reading of my post is especially important to me and I appreciate it. I hope you like my Diprotodon concept!! Thanks again.
  8. Hi, i am the mole king. But I'm not here to talk about myself. Aberration is my favorite map, and as my favorite map, I'm delighted to contribute a new creature to it. Without further ado, I present to you: Necrolestes Patagonensis. Dossier: Common name: Necrolestes (Big mole) Species: Necrolestes Patagonensis Time: Early Miocene Diet: Insectivorous Temperament: Territorial Domesticated: Taming these creatures, it's not an easy job, their size and temperament don't help. But once get this solved, they become a fundamental part o transport and defense. Survivors use them as a safe method o fast transportation, safely gathering resources. I have also been able to see howw a large group of survivors use them to catch other creatures, without risking much and finish them off in a short time. Wild: Being a very territorial species, I had the fortune or missfortune to see these beings in the distance. And they are not at all like the little moles, i was used to se or their cousin the naked mole rat. I saw how a group attacked, a Karkinos who mistakenly stepped on their burrow, immediately catching him and attacking, from various directions so quickly taht it's scary. Without a doubt, the necorlestes are very aggressive species. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Aberration is a map that we consider to have undergone an accident, and certain creatures have changed drastically due to the liquid element and radiation. This is also the case with this animal. When this happened, they had to dig deeper to avoid powerful predators such as Karkinos, among others. And unknowingly, several of them came into contact with the element, fighting among themselves, leaving only the largest ones. One of the females underwent a more drastic mutation, and the species adopted a eusocial system ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eusociality which is actually a real behavior that naked mole rats have https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naked_mole-rat ) Creating huge burrows that function around the female (or queen). Problems they solve: Aberration is already a complex map, especially at the beginning before obtaining a Rock Drake. The Necrolestes is a solution to escape, travel, or attack depending on the situation. · Crossing the rivers of Aberration is very dangerous, but what if you could simply pass underneath your enemies quickly without being detected? · What can I do if I accidentally wake up a Basilisk and I don't have anything powerful to defend myself with? What if I could dig faster? · The naked mole rat is often hard to see because of its appearance. · The Basilisk's digging ability could be improved. · The concept of a eusocial system of mammals would be an interesting mechanic that adds more gameplay to the game https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necrolestes Utility: The male Necrolestes can dig just like the Basilisk, however, it's faster (not very fast on the surface) and cannot carry as much weight. When underground, it's undetectable by other dinos unless they are very close (it generates particles of dirt). The appearance of the saddle is not just a decoration, as being underground provides the survivor with oxygen. The Necrolestes drains its stamina and oxygen while moving underground (oxygen drains slowly). If it gets tired or runs out of oxygen, it will automatically surface. They can follow while is underground, when you whistle for them to follow you. You can also disable this, by clicking the menu to turn it on or off. (As they are a little slower on the surface, it is recommended that they move by digging) Whistling to attack a target, they will chase it from the underground and charge to the surface when close to attack it. (if their enemy is faster they will try to catch it using their ability to soften the ground to stun them) While underground, it's immune to shots, hits, and being grabbed by other creatures. It's not immune to explosions and cannot pass under structures (it's not immune to anything on the surface). It cannot attack while underground. While underground, it has the ability to soften the ground (it can pounce on a dino underground and make the ground beneath it collapse, stunning it for 5 seconds. This ability has a cooldown of 20 seconds). Another ability it has while underground is to burst out of the ground suddenly, dealing damage and pushing creatures away. (this drains a lot of stamina) On the surface, it has a claw attack (which deals damage) and can farm Stone and metal (it has reduced metal farming). It also has a biting attack (which deals damage) and can farm fiber and a few berries. (it isn’t the best farming this) The female gives a pack buff effect when surrounded by several male Necrolestes, giving them more damage and greater resistance. (this effect decreases as more females Necrolestes are nearby) An ability that could be cool for the game but very broken and horrible to code is (is discarded): the undergroud movement but from vertical and horizontal surface this means that they could “climb but from inside the ground” (this would drain a lot of stamina as a consequence, but realistically it would bug the game a lot). Taming: Necrolestes can be found in Mega Burrows and Big Burrows, which can only be broken like stones. They can also be immediately removed from the burrow with poison gas bombs. (destroying it in the process) · Big Burrows: There is only one lonely mega mole. Which will come out once the burrow receive damage. · Mega burrows: It will work as a wave system, the more damage you do, the more will come out to defend it (the wave system is similar to that of giant bees, but with a limited group of low level Necrolestes). Eventually, the female (or the queen) Necrolestes will come out with a group of males stronger than the first waves. Some Necrolestes can be also found walking near the mega burrows To tame them, once they are outside, they must be put to sleep without a burrow nearby. Drops: Mega Mole: · · · Big Burrow: -Stone (60%) -Metal (15%) -Green Gems (15%) -Blue Gems (10%) Mega Burrow: -Stone (50%) -Metal (15%) -Green Gems (15%) -Blue Gems (10%) -Red Gems (5%) -Random blueprint of any quality
  9. Introducing the Caldwellia philyrina, a giant snail of epic proportions that will revolutionize the way you play Ark Survival Evolved. This colossal creature boasts an enormous shell that serves as both a mobile home and armored transport for players, offering unparalleled protection and mobility. Imagine having a nearly unstoppable fortress, with the ability to move around the map with ease! Once tamed, players can craft a mount that offers a trapdoor access into the shell, creating a fully enclosed and impenetrable armoured transport. The shell is made of a super-hardened material that is 10 times stronger than metal, making it an excellent defence against even the mightiest of Giga attacks and bleeding damage. But outside of the shell she is very vulnerable, so she can cover inside the shell. Sche is very heavy and this does not cause recoil. The large size of the Caldwellia philyrina also allows for players to craft a 2x2 foundation set inside, turning it into a veritable fortress. Imagine having a fully equipped base with crafting tables, storage chests, and even a bed for respawning, all inside the safety and comfort of the Bourou's shell (if game engine permits). Otherwise, its inventory system acts as a crafting platform and bed, allowing players to respawn back into it. It's the ultimate survival tool, with all the amenities of home at your fingertips. But the Caldwellia philyrina isn't just a "fortress on wheels", it's also a foraging powerhouse. It can forage berries ,hatch, fiber, wood, seeds, black and white perls efficiently, and over time its inventory also increases with polymer, fertelizer, cement and random types of mushrooms. With the Helix Pomatia by your side, you'll never have to worry about running low on resources again. It's like having a portable loot room, and you'll be able to gather resources more efficiently greater safety than ever before. One of the Caldwellia philyrina special traits is its ability to climb nearly any surface, including vertically scaling mountains or cliffs. Its large shell also allows it to trap lots of air, providing the player with a week-long duration of underwater seabed crawling, adding a new style of exploration for players. Imagine being able to explore the depths of the sea without the need for a diving suit, or traversing treacherous mountain ranges with ease. The Helix Pomatia opens up a whole new world of possibilities, and you'll be able to discover hidden locations and secrets that were previously unreachable for many players. But she is very slow!!!! However, her attacks are very weak, so she is not a fighting creature in that sens. But she has a big cannon on her saddle, that's her main weapon for the damage deal. However, they need ammunation that they have to carry with them. The slime she drags behinde her slows down every enemies and after a long time where they walk on there they become stuck. But the most important thing about Aberrations is of course the glow, her feelerscan glow in different beautyfull colors. This makes it perfect to tame a Reaper, as it emits light throgh the feelers and with the cannon on the shell, it does enough damage on the Reaper. You tame them by feeding them mushroom soup!
  10. Rãculionix or baurubatrachus-giant Catfish frog The Rãculionix would be an incredible addition to Aberration. If we consider a more logical approach, amphibians would have greater success in this map. The Rãculionix is the perfect example, being a giant amphibian adapted to leaping and surviving in this radioactive environment. It would be amazing for survivors, especially if this creature excels in farming, mobility, and combat. Could it potentially rival the Rock Drake? I'm not very good at drawing, but I found this design and wanted to use it as inspiration to create the abilities of the Rãculionix. I would like WD to make some changes to the design to make it more faithful to the Aberration map and the radioactive environment, but I must say that this design is amazing! Dossiês: Species: raculionix anura Time: Cretaceous Diet: carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild: In the wild, the Rãculionix is never alone, always found in lakes or rivers with multiple individuals. When prey or a player approaches, their group communication activates, similar to the howls of wolves. Their grunts attract more members of the species, and they leap towards the prey, causing immense and corrosive damage. Additionally, the Rãculionix has a tail that emits an unbearable and hallucinogenic odor for other creatures, driving them away, much like the roar of the Yutiranus. Players are also not exempt from the effects of the Rãculionix's tail, and I have heard reports of tribes using the tail's effect to tame aggressive creatures, due to its ability to easily repel and immobilize them. But even in its wild form, I have witnessed the Rãculionix hunting large animals. Its bite is devastating, with its acidic, pink tongue corroding the prey's flesh, resembling a radiation whip. Its bite causes bleeding and deep radiation damage to the prey, making it a formidable hunter in the Aberration. Domestication: To tame the Rãculionix is a challenging task. Firstly, you must obtain fish gel from anglerfish and acquire a vial of the Rãculionix's tail scent. Mix them together at a chemistry bench to create a gel that tricks the Rãculionix into believing you are of the same species. Once you have prepared the gel, you need to locate a Rãculionix. Only the males can be tamed, as the females are much smaller and cannot be domesticated in this manner. Therefore, you must eliminate all the females before attempting a stealthy approach towards the male. After eliminating the females, approach the male Rãculionix while wearing camouflaged clothing. Then, apply the gel to your gloves and armor, ensuring that the gel's effect lasts for a certain amount of time. During this time, you will be able to mount the Rãculionix. By applying the gel and grasping onto the Rãculionix's antennae, it will feel a connection to you. From there, you must tame the creature by completing small missions that appear on the screen, such as performing a certain number of jumps, killing specific creatures in the area, or even swimming in the radioactive waters of the Aberration. However, a single application of the gel will not be enough, similar to the Carcharodontosaurus. The Rãculionix will attempt to dismount you as it can only be ridden with the gel's effect. Therefore, you must be prepared to run as it will try to kill you. Once it has calmed down, you must repeat the same process until the taming is complete. Domesticated: When tamed, the Rãculionix has numerous utilities, ranging from locomotion to resource gathering. In terms of resource gathering, it is a simple and highly efficient task for the Rãculionix, making it an excellent resource farmer in the game. The Rãculionix possesses a radioactive tongue with highly caustic chemical properties, perfect for cutting and breaking rocks in Aberration. With this ability, the Rãculionix can easily break down metals and gather resources, while also benefiting from a weight reduction, making it ideal for farming metal, stone, and thatch. Additionally, it has a similar function to the Magmasaur's ability to melt metal with its tongue. In terms of locomotion, it is quite evident that the Rãculionix excels in this aspect. With its large and muscular legs, it is perfectly suited for performing immense leaps in Aberration, as well as being able to swim in the radioactive waters of the map. Yes, players could also swim in these waters, as the Rãculionix absorbs the radiation from the water, protecting the player. Furthermore, it is immune to fall damage and can carry substantial amounts of resources. In terms of combat, the Rãculionix possesses impressive abilities. Its tail emits a noxious odor that repels creatures, making it perfect for taming and venturing safely. It also has a tail attack that delivers a radioactive shock to its target. While the Rãculionix's bite may not be exceptionally powerful, it is still helpful, causing bleeding and a radiation effect on the target, even affecting aberrant creatures. Its tongue attack inflicts electric, hot, and corrosive damage, making it perfect for breaking structures and gathering resources, as mentioned earlier. Additionally, the Rãculionix has sensory antennae that grant the player a motion-detection vision, allowing them to detect all creatures in the vicinity and emit a signal when encountering a maximum-level creature, similar to the Bulldog. These are some ideas, and if anyone has more ideas for abilities, please share them below. Procreation: To breed and obtain a Ranculionix egg, you must first find a wild female. After that, you need to have gas balls in the inventory of the male, which serve as food during mating. Then, you must trap the female and position the male next to her, activating the mating process. During mating, the male will consume the gas ball, staying nourished while both Ranculionix remain "attached" for about 30 minutes. During this period, the Ranculionix is vulnerable, so it's important to be vigilant of other creatures nearby. The female Ranculionix must not take damage and should stay close to water. After mating concludes, she will lay the egg in the nearest water source, and you must collect it and incubate it in any water. It's worth noting that the heat generated by the Diplocaulus is necessary to incubate the Ranculionix egg, as technology is not capable of performing this task for such a radioactive animal. As the offspring grows, it will no longer require the gel on the gloves, as it will be trained with its natural scent. However, the wild father still requires the use of gel to be ridden. Repellent: In addition to the mentioned abilities of the Rãculionix, as mentioned, it produces a toxin in its tail that repels creatures in the vicinity. To obtain it, you can either kill Rãculionix to acquire it or collect it in a vial using a male Rãculionix. This toxin can be used to spray on creatures or apply to yourself, serving as a quick repellent to scare away small and medium-sized creatures, making it perfect for venturing in Aberration. It also serves in PvP as a means to intimidate enemy creatures when thrown on the ground. End The Rãculionix could be associated with the Baurubatrachus, creating a more authentic and realistic version of an evolved frog from Aberration. The Baurubatrachus underwent transformations that made it convergent with electric fish and current catfish. I hope this creature is chosen for the game, as it would bring a unique and exciting addition to the world of Ark: Survival Evolved.
  11. Introducing the Helix Pomatia, a giant snail of epic proportions that will revolutionize the way you play Ark Survival Evolved. The large size of the Helix Pomatia also allows for players to craft a 2x2 foundation set inside, turning it into a veritable fortress. But the Helix Pomatia isn't just a "fortress on wheels", it's also a foraging powerhouse. One of the Helix Pomatia special traits is its ability to climb nearly any surface, including vertically scaling mountains or cliffs.
  12. Metalurax-aberrant salamander The Metalurax would be an incredible addition to the Aberration map, a new and unique amphibian for this amazing setting. Amphibians are scarce in the Ark game, so it would be a perfect addition to this category. With its unique and magnificent characteristics, the Metalurax can be both a shoulder pet and a formidable carnivore, depending on your choice. A creature with such design in the Ark Ascended game would be incredible. Just imagine the level of radioactive glow and the radiant details that this creature would have in Engine 5, it would be truly magnificent. So, that's my cue, and now let's dive into the world of the Metalurax. The Metalurax is a magnificent amphibian that emits an intense glow. It possesses incredibly strong claws, allowing it to climb reasonably well, thanks to its slimy and adhesive substance, rivaling the impressive Rock Drake. The Metalurax has antennas similar to those of the Axolotl, capable of detecting movements, much like the Snow Owl does with its heat vision. Its jaw, during the metamorphosis phase, is incredibly powerful and can also release a radioactive substance, similar to how the Dilophosaur releases its slime. The membranes around the Metalurax's body provide it with highly effective swimming abilities. Although it cannot fly or plant, its climbing ability combined with its ability to cushion falls can be used for locomotion. Dossier: Common Name: Metalurax Species: Ambystoma aberrans Time: unknown Diet: carnivore Temperament: agressive Wild: in the wild, the Metalurax can also pose a significant challenge. Its agility in the water is impressive, allowing it to move with dexterity and speed through the radioactive waters. Now, imagine such a fast creature combined with its radioactive bite ability. It would be a true terror for survivors venturing into the radioactive areas. Killing this wild animal for meat is not a good option, as its body is highly radioactive. Domestication: The process of domesticating the Metalurax in its larval form involves the use of toxins, such as those from Titanoboa or Nameless. However, for a more effective and expedient domestication, it is recommended to create a toxin at the chemistry bench using specific ingredients, including the venom of Nameless and Titanoboa, hallucinogenic mushrooms, a significant amount of narcotics, and a new substance acquired from the Alpha Basilisk—its venom, which can be obtained by killing it. Once you have obtained this substance or the venoms from Titanoboa or Nameless, you must venture into the hostile and radioactive areas where the Metalurax is found. These creatures are rare, usually spawning only one or two at a time. When you encounter them, you must use Reaper pheromones to scare them, as they will attack you relentlessly if you don't. Having used the pheromones, you must chase after them since they will attempt to flee. The most effective way to stop them is by using bolas. After successfully immobilizing the Metalurax, it is crucial to stay close to it to familiarize it with your scent and allow you to approach. At this point, you can feed it the prepared toxins. Once the Metalurax consumes the toxins, the domestication process is complete, and you will have a strong and loyal creature by your side. Domesticated: Once domesticated, you will have an incredible creature. In its larval form, its abilities include: -It can be carried on your back, absorbing and converting the radiation in its surroundings into an intense light that scares nearby animals.- The Metalurax only produces a radioactive sticky substance that can be extracted in its larval form. During the metamorphosis phase, it will not produce a sufficient amount of this substance. Metamorphosis: To undergo metamorphosis, the Metalurax requires the creation of another substance in the chemical bench, using honey, mushrooms, toxins, pheromones from both female and male Metalurax, as well as an element, either in powder or fragment form. Giant Salamander Stage: After injecting the substance into the Metalurax, its transformation process will begin, and it will enter a cocoon stage, evolving into the salamander phase, similar to the growth of a hatchling. Once this transformation is complete, you will have a powerful creature by your side, a true large carnivore, if we can call it that. The abilities of the Metalurax in its adult phase are: With its strong claws and sticky slime, it can climb walls and cushion falls, emerging unscathed from its explorations. Another ability of the Metalurax is the conversion of a small amount of radiation around it into a radioactive slime, similar to the Dilophosaur. When it shoots this slime, it blinds all enemies and inflicts corrosive damage that destroys armor and irradiates its targets. Furthermore, thanks to its radiation absorption, the Metalurax has the ability to camouflage itself, like the Rock Drake and the Shadowmane. However, this ability consumes a lot of energy and is rarely used in combat. The Metalurax's bite is also corrosive, capable of breaking metal structures and causing significant damage to creatures due to the injected radiation. The Metalurax also has antennas that detect movements of nearby creatures. Additionally, the Metalurax can be used for gathering activities as its corrosive slime can break down all metals and rocks in the game. Although the Metalurax in its metamorphosis stage does not emit a light that scares animals around it, its antennas produce a blue light that helps the player see in dark nights in the Aberration. A tail strike can also be added, a powerful move where its radioactive membranes carry a radioactive energy that paralyzes the target, similar to cnidarians. Some additional ideas for the Metalurax: Perhaps a Tek saddle that allows the animal to perform high jumps or glide like the Rock Drake, or that allows it to remain in camouflage for longer periods. Additionally, this saddle could provide a protective shield for the animal. Also, it would be possible to have a wrist-mounted weapon that can be equipped by humans, a weapon capable of releasing the slime produced by the Metalurax in its larval phase. This weapon would shoot slime projectiles forward, corroding everything in the area it hits, making it perfect for targeting animals and corroding them from the inside, easily killing them. The radiation emitted by this slime can also aid in creature taming, as small doses before taming can reduce hunger. However, as useful as it may be, the weapon has its limitations. Due to its high radioactivity, it corrodes the entire weapon and breaks the device. There would be a limit of 10 slime shots per weapon before the weapon is completely corroded and the device breaks. Procreation: For breeding Metalurax, you must have a couple in the metamorphosis phase and take them to the radioactive lake to initiate mating. The female will lay the egg in the water, and you must collect it and take it to a chemical workstation. Adding an element to the egg will ensure that the animal is born in the metamorphosis phase, as without it, the newborn animal will always remain in the larval phase. To hatch the Metalurax egg, you must once again take it to the radioactive water and use some Diplocaulus to incubate it, as air conditioners and incubators seem to malfunction or have no effect on this creature. Size: --------------------------- Credits to Gisselda santos I hope that Wildcard adds this creature or creates one similar to it, that would be incredible. Who wouldn't want a beautiful and cute shining Axolotl in their base? Especially if it's useful? Everyone! So, vote for this creature for the next Ark Ascended creature. If anyone has ideas, I will definitely check them out and add them.
  13. Dossier: Gigantoscorpio Willsi Time: Visean age of the Carboniferous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild "Gigantoscorpio Willsi is a very intelligent and patient hunter. It buries itself under the surface sticking its tail above lying in wait for an unfortunate victim large enough to sense. That unfortunate soul will be pierced by its tail and injected with a very deadly venom that causes complete paralysis, even the biggest and meanest hunters succumb to the toxin." Domesticated "Taming Gigantoscorpio Willsi is a very delicate and careful process, I mentioned previously that it lies in wait for something large enough to sense. I myself have stood above this beast and it didn't attack. Seen as how large they are, they must take a large amount of food to stay sustained. I managed to lure a Diplodocus over to it and before I could get out of the way it attacked, nearly hitting me! Not long after, the Diplodocus collapsed, but Gigantoscorpio Willsi didn't reveal itself straight away. I noticed its head pop up briefly, it must have been looking for predators. It later dug itself out and began feasting upon the paralyzed Diplodocus. I've only seen a handful of these domesticated but from what I've heard, their toxin can be extracted and synthesized into a more potent narcotic that can be used to make darts, some tribes have even gone so far as to use the creature to tranquilize others. Asides from its powerful sedative, its just as stealthy when domesticated as it is wild being able to bury its rider with it. Its outer shell seems to cause it to have a resistance to gunfire and has even been known to defend its rider with its large pincers. Being so large, its tail has alot of range and can be used to pluck gliders out of the sky!" Gameplay: Wild Gigantoscorpio Willsi is a large creature (around the size of a Diplo/Rex) but is extremely shy, it will not come out of its buried form unless there is a paralyzed creature nearby. Before it emerges, it will check to see if any predators or humans are nearby (players can wear Ghillie). Whilst in its buried form, it has its tail revealed in a mound so you can see it slightly. Gigantoscorpio Willsi will only ever attack creatures larger than an Allosaurus like this. Taming Taming Gigantoscorpio Willsi is complicated, players must first lure it out by getting a creature paralyzed in the area either by wild or tamed creatures. Anything smaller than an Allosaurus wont suffice, including babies. Once it has paralyzed something and shows its head, there must be no carnivorous or humans (not wearing ghillie) in the area, otherwise it won't emerge to feed. The creature that has been paralyzed must have bio toxin on it, this causes Gigantoscorpio Willsi to begin losing torpidity. Depending on the level/taming multiplier, it may require more than one creature with bio toxin. After it has passed out from the bio toxin, players can feed it any form of meat. It particularly likes spoiled meat, Kibble is also extremely good! Domesticated After it has finally been tamed, a saddle can be equipped and it can be ridden! The saddle has the player situated on its head, Gigantoscorpio Willsi has some very interesting uses: It has passive resistance to gunfire, including turrets. Holding C/RAS can protect its rider by blocking line of sight from the front with its massive pincers. Left Click/RT is its basic attack, Left click/RT can be held up for a charge attack that causes both broken bones and bleed! Right Click/LT is its tails attack, this can be used to great lengths with knocking other creatures out (increasing melee damage also increases the torpidity damage). Holding Right Click/LT allows it to thrust its tail in the sky piercing flyers/gliders and dragging them down. Pressing CTRL/RB will cause it to bury allowing you to still use its tail. Pressing C/RAS whilst buried will pop its head up. Holding C/RAS cannot protect the rider. Weapons can be equipped while ridden. It is immune to the Paralysis Toxin it produces. Breeding Breeding Gigantoscorpio Willsi is also tricky and delicate, both the male and female must be buried to begin mating. When the egg is laid, it is stuck where the female was until it hatches. Stats Gigantoscorpio Willsi is slow when it comes to movement but is quick with its attacks, it deals significant damage with its left click attack but deals piercing (goes through armor) damage with its tail, albeit weaker than the left click. It is somewhat tanky and can be used as a turret sponge because of the resistance to gunfire.
  14. side note it does not have a photo think of a huge walrus and huge tusks Emmon’s walrus The sea Truck Species: ontocetus emmonsi Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive 50% hide weight reduction it has 5% damage reduction unless under 35% health it has 8% damage multiplier it is decently slower than a meg but has way more health and torpor it farms a lot more hide than a hatchet deep sea mount drops blubber and its tusks it has a charge attack in the water and a down headbutt can't get stunned or take damage from jellyfish on less under 35% health saddle gives a 10 second water buff can be ridden without saddle
  15. Description: Prestosuchus was a South American pseudosuchus that lived during the Triassic period. In the Ark he would be a large predator that could be found in the forests and in the Redwood Forest, his temperament would be territorial only attacked if you got too close, with other animals he would also only attack if they got too close or if they attacked him. In the dossier: Wild: Among the many predators I've seen in the forests of this island, Prestosuchus is the most unique, while many predators prefer to chase their prey Prestosuchus lures them closer using branches and stones while hiding in thickets, and when the prey approaches it It lashes out with its jaw in a crushing bite capable of penetrating even a Stegosaurus's armor. The few who face a Prestosuchus say that at first it seemed to ignore them, but when they got close enough it grabbed them in its jaw and soon began to devour them alive. Tamed: Taming a Prestosuchus is a task for few as dart and arrows don't seem to have any effect on this creature, to tame it and need to earn its respect in a melee fight, those who managed to tame a Prestosuchus are rewarded with a fierce and highly versatile predator . The few tribes that have a Prestosuchus say that they can be trained to collect specific resources from animals such as leather or better quality meat, the domesticated Prestosuchus, when very injured, have a state of fury that makes it incredibly faster and more resistant, making it a weapon devastating. No Dossier Artwork at the moment Taming: To tame a Prestosuchus you earn its respect by facing it in a melee fight (Probably the best would be to lock it in a place where no one will interfere and then face it). After receiving a certain amount of damage he will retreat with a blue aura indicating that at this point he will become passive and can be fed meat in the last slot until he is tamed. Utility: Once tamed it will need a saddle to ride it, the saddle would be unlocked at level 58, with the saddle made and you being able to ride Prestosuchus it will have the following skills: Standard Bite: no extra effect Crushing Bite: It would be a charged blow the more charged the more damage would be done and would cause bleeding Jaw grab: This skill would not cause damage it would be similar to Megalosaurus only it would not cause damage and could be used with small animals and players Rush: Just like Dire Bear and Woolly Rhino, the more he ran the faster he would be and if you press the left button during the run, Prestosuchus will throw himself forward in a powerful charge that can cause stun Jump: Just a standard jump with no effects Tail strike: The Prestosuchus will attack with its tail in the direction the driver is looking at it and if the strike button is pressed the Prestosuchus will spin around and deal area damage pushing the target away. Berserk Mode: As Prestosuchus takes damage, a rage bar will fill up and when full, Prestosuchus will roar and go into berserk mode getting faster and decreasing stamina consumption and decreasing damage received. Berserk Roar: If Prestosuchus is in berserk mode it will have a roar that intimidates other creatures except (Brontosaurus, Carcharo, Giga, Rex, Spino, Titanosaurus and Yutyrannus), creatures intimidated by the roar will deal less damage and take more damage. If you held the "E" without being mounted on the creature there would be a selection where you could increase the level of resource gathering (similar to moschops) depending on what you type of gathering you level up your prestosuchus will collect more leather, meat , organic polymer prime meat. Functions: Prestosuchus could be a transport creature with good weight and speed and decent stamina. Resource gathering animal such as meat, prime meat, leather, organic polymer. Combat animal thanks to its damage and high life along with its berserk mode that makes it faster and reduces stamina consumption and decreasing the damage received. For now those were my ideas, but if you have another idea of skill, taming, characteristic or even function feel free to comment I would love to see other ideas for this creature. Design Concept by Me and My Brother: Real Animal:
  16. Beishanlong was a relative of Deinocheirus from the Early Cretaceous of China. Now, what do Canadian geese have to do with this thing you wonder? Well, the idea for this critter is that it’s oddly extremely violent and can somehow scare away things much larger than it, like Yuty levels of fear. Now it doesn’t just cause fear and go on with its day, it is straight sadistic and will become stronger the more things it has caused fear, increasing its damage, attack speed and speed rates up to 50%. It hasn’t gained its reputation for nothing, it can combo its attacks in a chain format with kicks, claw swipes, tail whips and biting. With combos it can build up a combo bar which when it is full it will bring out a fury of attacks, matched with its fear abilities it certainly is no joke. Though combos are great to use, specifically its kicks are great, it can build up speed like a dire bear or rhino and launch a full force kick to a creature, causing insane knock-back and a “winded debuff” which heavily increases stamina drain and will automatically set the creatures stamina to 0. Though I also have ideas on how it can be good for PvE, it’s saddle has two baskets used for carrying water, this baskets can be used to irrigate crops far away from any water source, which can be refilled at a well or any source of water, including rain. It also has an additional basket for vegetables, berries, etc, it can be set onto an “auto-farm pick up” mode where it will pick up anything that’s grown in crop plots, and keeps them from spoiling for longer. Additionally if you want to keep pests away from your base, you can set up a perimeter around your base to mark its scent, this will keep away anything, but it will make enemy or wild Beishanlong’s angry, increasing their damage.
  17. Name:Polacanthus Time:Early Cretaceour Period Diet:Herbivore Temperament:Territorial Wild: The Polacanthus is a nodosauridae Herbivore that Adapt to live in the desert and he became a living tank full of spikes .he live in oasis in the dunes of scorched earth but you will find only 2 polacanthus per oasis because they are very territorial when they see another polacanthus. His temperament is Territorial because they do there nest in the oasis in the dunes looking for a rare mineral salt they will protect his territori with his life so if you see a polacanthus RUUUN Tamed: you can tame it but it wont be easy to tame it you will need to destroy the nest or separet it and shoot tran arrows to is back that is there is weak point and the only thing that he will eat to domesticat is salt. Ones tame you will have a good tank of medium size and for is mega natural armor return the damage that he recieve,a slash that produce bleeding ,Also the best farmer of all r the desert and more important a Loyalty friend that he will protect you for ever. INFORMATION some of the especial abilytis is that he protect you rom deshidratation like the Thorny Devil when he go into water the water condence in his skins and the survivor can drink from himalso of the polacanthus are that all the damage that he receives he return it.While his cousin the anky have a club in the tail the polacanthus have the tail sorrunded of spikes and he do a slash thta cause bleeding that to a good amount of damage .and in the farming he is the king he will farm SULFUR,SALT,CACTUS SAP,Sand, silk Stone and more If you have idea write it below.
