    New creatures

    New creatures Are the mods going to adding new creature to the island without having to do the dungeon? I absolutely HATE the dungeon but I’d like a chance at the new creatures too?? Honestly I think it unfair that they’re only adding new dinos to the dungeon not on the island itself.
  2. Dungeon Loot Suggestion Hello all, I have noticed that there seems to be widespread demand for DLCs on Mobile. Simultaneously, dungeon loot is so low quality that there isn't much point in going to any crates that give normal loot as opposed to premium items, TEK, keys or saddles. To decrease the number of essentially useless crates, I have an idea: DLC Crates. Rather than having to deal with issues regarding adding entire new maps to Mobile, DLC-exclusive items and/or their blueprints could instead be added to the current normal crate loot table or a new crate type(s). They could even be on a rotation, Mobile TEK style. Things like flamethrowers, chainsaws, cluster grenades, oil jars etc. (items) could have blueprint drops, while exclusive mined resources such as salt and sulfur or perhaps even crafted resources such as propellant can be given as straight-up items. Special ammunition could be given either way. Alternatively, items and special ammunition could both be in blueprint form and have their recipes altered to use base resources instead of DLC ones. This could also apply to DLCs other than Scorched Earth, e.g. glider suits, ziplines, gems etc. from Aberration. Which things are added and how quickly is up to WarDrum, so useless things like radiation suits can be left out. Note: please do not add climbing picks, they are useless on the Island and cause meshing issues on PC and Console which would likely carry over to Mobile if they were added. You may be wondering why I tagged wyverns and rock drakes. This is because the eggs for these creatures could also be added with a very low probability (as in Noctis-level low probability) to appear in DLC crates/modified standard crates. This would prevent those capable of running dungeons on PVP from gaining an army of wyverns or drakes in no time, but would still satisfy the player base demand for them. Since the low probability is a PVP/PVX/PVXC consideration, PVE or single player could have higher probabilities for wyvern/drake egg drops. To offset the low probabilities on PVP/PVX, the eggs on those modes could be set to drop only as certain level ranges to prevent frustration due to getting a super-low level after a lot of hard work. As I am aware that WarDrum is a relatively small studio and needs the income from ARK:Mobile, I even have an idea for how money can unobtrusively be earned from such an implementation. Amber-purchased items (name suggestion: Accelerators) can be added to the store which function similarly to pheromones, but for drop rate of items from different DLCs rather than mutations on different categories of creatures. For example, the more OP DLC items will of course have a lower drop rate, but this rate can be boosted in this way, which works for both the 'modified standard crate' and 'individual crate type for each DLC' variants of this concept: Scorched Earth Accelerator: Modified Standard Crate: higher rate of Scorched Earth drops SE-Specific Crate: higher rate of rarer Scorched Earth drops Aberration Accelerator: Modified Standard Crate: higher rate of Aberration drops AB-Specific Crate: higher rate of rarer Aberration drops Extinction Accelerator (maybe, Extinction might be a tad too OP) Modified Standard Crate: higher rate of Extinction drops EX-specific Crate: higher rate of rarer Extinction drops And that concludes my ideas for now. I'm kinda frustrated about that new weird labyrinth-maze-riddle thingie.... it doesn't follow any logic at all, it doesn't make sense, there is buttons far out of reach that activate a lift that went down into water. There is a weird maze that could be solved when trying hard enuff.. I don't really get this new dungeon thing, had to use cheats to "solve" it. Have no idea what kind of stuff the map maker took when "creating" this.. also not speaking about the visible dispatcher actor in that one room just right after the first bat trap. Guess I have to try harder next time, somehow ....

    Ark Mobile Hey my name is HbRacimo1234,and I play ark mobile I just had a request if u could add The Daedon to the next dungeoun. I was sadly not able to get on so I was just wondering if you could. Also maybe if you could add more Dino’s to dungeoun like remove the pte and maybe add a rainbow argy. But I am just asking if u can add daedons to the next Ark mobile dungeoun. Please, and Thank you Sincerely, HbRacimo1234
  6. God Console in Dungeons and Caves Ok so something that has Really been bothering me is the fact that I can’t use god consoles during pursuits, Caves, and Dungeons. People pay $15 so they can have full freedom over the island to do whatever they want and they aren’t aloud to use it in caves, pursuits, and dungeons, I’m really looking at the dungeons because in the 2.0 update, where TEK was added, I’m just going to assume that everyone, literally everyone is going to want TEK Stuff which is gonna make some of them wanna buy god console since the dungeons are difficult but surprise surprise, you can’t use god console to get TEK, so you try to use god console in the dungeons and again, surprise, you can’t use your god console inside of the dungeons and same applies for caves, you want to get artifacts and blueprints, denied, you want rewards from the pursuits, denied, like come on guys, it’s literally in the name, God Console, if your a god you have unlimited power over what you can do but you are restricted to caves pursuits and dungeons? No, bad idea, when I bought god console I was disappointed from the fact that I couldn’t use god console in caves and pursuits, even more so when I wasted a free entry thinking I could use it in a dungeon. I was massacred by juggernauts iguanodons and Baryonyx. I re-entered with riot gear and everything and same fate, massacred. Like come on I’m paying $15 for a God Console with Restrictions, as well as everyone else. I just really think God Console shouldn’t have any Restrictions on Caves, Pursuits, and Dungeons, it really annoying to have something that is supposed to make single player a sandbox and not be able to use it to get those really special items like TEK and Ascendent Items.
  7. Dungeon week 3: The Marshy Hollows feedback Jul2-Jul8 This week’s dungeon has some notability right off the bat. Reminder my feedback is from a brutal server. Challenge room creatures have doubled in level this week in most rooms from 450 to 900. There is now a huge issue on bringing eerie creatures back to revive. Server max level limits are 600. These challenge room creatures are all over level 600. This is now excluding content from us. EDIT2: They revive at level 1. It isn’t a total exclusion, but it does seem a bit unfair for people who aren’t admins/SPs with god console. It also eliminates stat variety in taming them. This dungeon is about 3-4 times more difficult than last week’s dungeon. I have no problem with increased difficulty... EXCEPT that rewards do not reflect this change. Still only 10 element for soloing a brutal dungeon. Still only apprentice blueprints 5-10 times weaker than the equipment I need to beat the dungeon. I am glad to get higher than primitive quality saddles of those not typically rewarded from caves or free gifts (e.g. kapro, platforms, procoptodon). Hell, I prefer to only have saddle bps (or new potions) over the other useless apprentice equipment that can’t compare to cave rewards. I get a cutlass from a chest... I’m using an ascendant sword with 671 damage, what’s the point of that cutlass now? The juggernaut iguanadon room has a fall through the map bug. This is completely unfair still. We need a mechanic to fix this so free entries and amber entries aren’t going to waste. Maybe a teleport back to the starting room of the dungeon? I’m not even going to risk trying the lava room because the timing is still off, and I hate falling through the map 90% of the times I try. Any issues/bugs/improvements I missed please post so we can help get the game where it needs to be for everyone. No whining/begging. More to come as I explore further. EDIT: The differently sized creatures have issues meshing into and onto us to where half of our attacks do not hit them because we are inside their hit boxes. There are already issues with guns hitting the targets properly but this also affects melee weapons and this meshing may be what’s pushing us through the floor of the dungeon. Dungeon creatures need to follow the same attack distance as surface ones, but if you increase their size then you need to increase this distance proportionally to avoid this issue. EDIT3: 20+ runs and no journeyman chestpiece yet.
  8. Dungeon chest box, tek bp correspond with number of people I'm curios, does dungeon chest box drops get better if there are more people participating at the same time? I usually solo the dungeon, but the highest armor quetzal platform saddle only get to about 50 armor, does it gets better if i gather around 10 people to enter the dungeon together? I play in easy difficulty server btw

  11. The main basis of this idea is an Ark with more verticality rather than horizontality if that's even a word... Current maps are expansive in all directions with biomes sorted neatly into puzzle pieces that form what we see as the world. For example the Island's Jungle or Aberration's Mushroom Forest. What I propose is to have each biome be a "floor" within the world, with the player needing to go to keep descending downwards. Aberration explored this idea lightly by separating the overworld from the underground whilst Extinction separated specific biomes to particular zones. The structure would resemble dungeons in which players explore floor after floor handling each of their specific challenges. Say one floor being submerged in water entirely except for floating bubbles whilst another would be a series of tunnels and caverns. As for the theme of this expansion the name says a lot: emphasis on plants & insects. Ranging from berries, vegetables and mushrooms as well as the addition of some fruits, additional food types with available effects and recipes are welcomed, but it is the next portion that particularly excites me. Natural vegetation obstacles. I'm talking about: Venus Flytraps camouflaged with the environment and suddenly biting towards passing creatures Creatures walking over leaves or vines only for them to break and fall inside a Pitcher Plant that traps it to consume them if they don't escape on time Mutated Lichen that continuously but slowly expands over structures if not taken out Creatures getting tangled in vines and/or roots from floating Cattails (underwater) slowing speed or even suffocating them. Naturally, having some of these accessible as seeds to plant would be amazing as well! As for insects, start by making the available ones breedable by crafting or finding places to place their brood. Then add others such as: Huge Rhyno beetles (which can walk or fly very slowly but can carry a lot, and can take a lot of damage and in the case of males dish it out as well) A larger variant of Meganeura which players can ride on. Silkworms that are carried for high insulation but also possess the once mentioned, but never implemented, perk of the moth to generate silk. The Ant Queen that was once teased, but never officially revealed can come into play in a very similar manner to the Queen Bee's summoning of bee warriors! The idea in a crutch is a layered underground world, possibly going down the roots of a large tree that functions as the starting point for the player. This map would serve as not only a survival challenge, but also speedrunning challenge, fun and varied stages of pvp or simply a wondrous experience as players find themselves seemingly shrunk to the size of ants! This idea is one I've imagined for some time which is why it's so expansive. Call it my dream DLC and if they so little as inspire One idea from the developers I'd be quite content. If not, just seeing new creatures come is always fun!
  12. My tribe has already begun preparing for the dungeons. I thought I would throw out there what we are doing and see if anyone had any other ideas. From what I understand, the dungeons will be very big and take a long time to complete. Bosses will be introduced and there will be rooms that lock behind you and only unlock once enemies are taken care of. Players only, no tames, and PvE rules. Players will also not be able to regenerate health automatically. The spoils include special Tek engrams, eerie creature implants, and a new creature to tame. We are on a PvX server, so we only have 6 tribe member slots available, so we may need to work with another tribe depending on how hard the dungeons are. Here is what we are doing and planning: 1. Get best flak armor blue prints from the small ice cave. So far we have 4 of the 5 pieces with over 1000 armor rating. 2. Get very good shotgun blue print. Have one with 476 damage and 4400 durability. I think I got it from the lava cave artifact tribute. 3. Get very good assault rifle blue print. Have one with 329 damage and 418 durability. I think I got it from the yeti cave artifact tribute. 4. Get plenty of riot shields from yeti cave. We already have a bunch. 5. Make a ton of shotgun shells and advanced rifle bullets. How many per player? 6. Make a ton of medical brews. How many per player? 7. Make some shadow steak saute. How many? 8. Possible narcotics and stimulants. 9. Extra set of light weight armor. Our plan is to have one of our players up front with a riot shield and sword acting as a tank. The rest mainly using shotguns, assault rifles, pistols, or longneck rifles. We have given thought to one of the players maxing out his weight stat and acting as a pack mule of sorts in order to carry a lot of healing supplies. We have 4 of our 6 tribe members that will be able to contribute in this endeavor, so more than likely we will try to enter cave and work with another tribe to complete. Possible strategies: Remove any arthropleuras first. They damage armor durability, so removing them before they wipe your armor is important. Divide and conquer? If dungeons are very big, will it be better to split up and search for boss transport first? Player roles? Will it benefit the team to have a "tank" or "pack mule"? Maping? How important will it be to keep a map. Maps change every week, and you can run once a day for free, so how valuable is keeping a map of the dungeon. Could you make amber for being a dungeon guide? Please give your 2 cents or more. Dungeons are only 2 months away.
