I have a basic Island server and Scorched Earth running in docker containers. Image provided by ich777. No mods no custom configurations, just default config along with my set ports, names, cluster ID, and passwords. Both servers come up and I can see and connect to them directly. When I log in to the island on a brand new survivor. Level 1, no items. Completely new and run over to an obelisk, I can see my other scorched server is available and I choose to transfer to it. After about 30 seconds or so, I am sent back to the menu screen and given a "Host Timeout" error. I then try to directly connect to scorched and now that server is timing out when I try to connect when it allowed me to connect just fine before I attempted the transfer. Bummer. However, I can restart the scorched container, and when I directly connect to it again, it works and I can see my transferred survivor. Pull him in, spawn, and take off for the closet obelisk to try going back to the Island server. Same exact experience. Host times out, cannot connect directly, restart container, and I can connect and spawn in my transferred survivor. I'm not sure what's causing this, but it's consistent. **Relative specs:** This is a dedicated server running my docker containers. I am NOT using Windows and not playing and hosting from the same machine. AMD Ryzen 7 1800X 64GB DDR4 3200 Game files and such are on an Intel 1TB NVMe Connecting from "Join Ark" in game. I've tried manually doing it from Steam > View > Game Servers, but that has it's own issue. Something about "Cannot query game parameters" or something. (not important at the moment) Confirmed that even though I'm connecting from in game, it's smart enough to use my local IP, so it's not some weird thing where it's routing out to the internet and back in.

Server crashes since update this morning
Vaeroth posted a topic in Xbox Dedicated Server Discussions
Ran the update that released this morning and ever since, my server has crashed every couple hours. I have not added any other mods to my server made any changes to the settings or anything for the last 2 days. Yesterday it was running just fine but then after this update, crashes a bunch. I can upload my most recent crash report but I don't know which file I would need to upload here for someone to tell me what is going on. -
Hi guys, we have been running a server on our windows root since noon yesterday. Everything was running fine until I wanted to insert the saves from the old server. Console opens, server loads and then the console closes. We deleted the solution saves and everything set to 0, everything works again. Now 8 hours later and with 70 active players and over 300 player saves we had to restart the server because of a hacker. When restarting, the same problem as at server start. It does not load your own save files. Save files deleted? everything works. Now we have inserted all the save files one by one and found that the player saves and world saves work and the server starts. As soon as we insert the tribe saves the server does not start and the console closes by itself. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? We're getting this error: Fatal error! Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x0000000d0000000e CL: 449352 0x00007ff79b1f35de ArkAscendedServer.exe!FWeakObjectPtr::operator=() [E:\ASAContinuous\Engine\Source\Runtime\CoreUObject\Private\UObject\WeakObjectPtr.cpp:30]message 5.numbers message 5.txt

I am simply curious because of the vague nature of the official difficulty values for bosses in ARK. Since I can't find a definitive answer, I am hoping someone can now share some insight. 1. Is it true that Singleplayer settings checkbox + 5x difficulty override do not affect the bosses in any way (it affects tamed dino stats/xp/breeding only)? 2. Is it true that there is no difference between official & unofficial (& PC dedicated) boss stat multipliers (so using Singleplayer settings checkbox on dedicated server with 5x difficulty override is the same as official for boss stat values)? 3. Is there a difference between official and singleplayer/non-dedicated bosses? I have seen invisibleqc's boss stat data figures mined from the game code: But still Ark players have anecdotal posts saying both yes & no for example: particularly intriguing is this reddit post which has extensive testing and found no difference in singleplayer/dedi: but also the last comment in this discussion with PFM saying he found no difference: This reddit post (although it may be wrong because they don't acknowledge the hard-coded resistance & damage multipliers given by invisibleqc) is curious as well because the patch notes are not clear and I wonder what the true interpretation of the following patch notes is when they write "multiplayer" (do these patch notes nerf SP then nerf dedi/official to match it?): Version: v254.3 Released - January 31, 2017 Singleplayer/non-dedicated bosses are reduced in damage and effective-HP by 67% Version: v261.0 Released - 7 July, 2017 Rebalanced all boss HP and damage to scale from 1x (Gamma) to 3x (Alpha) in singleplayer. This does not include The Center double boss arena, which has 35% less HP and damage than it's individual Island counterparts. Version: v264.2 Released - July 29, 2017 Fixed boss scaling for multiplayer sessions (approximately 67% easier) 4. If the difference is real, is Freespirit correct in applying his calculations to Singleplayer to match the official difficulty? Thanks for reading and I hope to get to the bottom of this once and for all.
