    Reaper buff

    As I know this has been talked about already, there needs to be a reaper buff to tamed ones. For them having one of the most tedious processes of obtaining one, they really are terrible. They are almost worthless and unusable on Aberration which is where they were meant for, too weak with a pet on. I've been waiting for Ark to bring a dino in the game to counter the Giga that has worn the crown for strongest/best dino but they instead keep bringing in more creatures weaker and useless. The Reaper would have been a golden opportunity to finally match the giga considering the reaper impregnating process, it being the "apex predator" along with obviously it's awesome looks.

    Rex means KING!

    I think the Rex has lost its edge over the Spino, making the Spino the significantly better mount after the TLC 2 pack. Since the Rex probably actively hunted other dinos while the Spino focused more on fish with the occasional small dino, I think the Rex needs to be fixed. My suggestions for what the Rex could benefit from are as follows; >Pack Bonus Why? Because recent discoveries have led scientists to believe T. Rex was actually possibly as intelligent as CHIMPANZEES and hunted in packs of 3-4. Doesn't need to be a huge boost, just something that would level the playing field between a Rex and a Spino by increasing attack and defense. >Switching the roar to tertiary attack and providing a secondary attack. Why? Mainly to make it more interesting as a mount. My suggestion would be some sort of tackle, where the Rex would sprint at a target dino and ram into them dealing melee and stamina damage. If the dino was under a certain size (if no pack bonus I would like Spinos to be included in this catagory) to be bowled over, which the Rex would then plant a foot on and pin to the ground for a certain amount of time, allowing the Rex to get free damage (Similar to the Raptor's pounce attack). I'd recommend this attack use a lot of stamina to discourage player from spamming this attack in PVP situations. That's just my opinion. Ever since TLC 2, the Spino is capable of outdoing the Rex in damage, speed, and versatility as a mount. I've been a fan of T. Rex since childhood, but as things stand right now, I would choose a Spino as a mount over the Rex every day of the week.
  3. on singleplayer (Not tested on online) a full yuty buff stops ignore group whistle from working and they start reacting to whistles really bad for bases with turret mode agressive dinos like rock eles
  4. Holy smokes the new water and bipedal buff actually makes the Spino a damage dealing monster, perhaps they may even be viable against bosses now. I'm a little disapointed that they didn't get an HP buff, but the bipedal attack seems to be much faster now so they are going to make great glass cannons.
  5. Should Drakes do the same damage as Wyverns with their bite? My Drake Exodus has fifteen percent more melee damage percentage than my wyvern but does around one hundred fifty less damage. Does anyone find that a little unfair, seeing as how Drakes need their Tek saddle to have a projectile and can't fly? Or is it balanced because they have a saddle and can go invisible?

    Spino Buff [Hydration]

    With the new buff to the spino, whenever it touches water, it would be neat if it got that same buff whenever it was out in the rain.

    marriage Marriage on Ark buff

    How about a marriage buff for players . It seems animals give buffs but what about marriage buffs so that way there is more interaction with other players so in order to get a type of buff you have to be in company of your spouse or just married to get a reward
  8. So with the new Dino TLC, phase 1. Did they suddenly remove the changes to the argentavis in the last minut? I was really looking forward to using the Argentavis with the new features. Reduced weight, smithy saddle etc. So I guess it's coming with the next phase (2) ? - Also a side question; didn't they say that the kibble rework would drop at the same time as the Dino TLC ?
  9. Ello guys i'm lokidoki. I've played ark for about two years now and i love this game. I love dinos xD. I'm making this suggestion thread for the Reaper on abberation. I feel the reaper is vastly weaker than other alpha dinos like spinos and megalos. Theyre Dmg growth and lack of saddles and mate boost just makes them so sub par compared to those dinos on the map turning them into hollow vanity tame. I know that you guys didnt wan't release a "new giga" like before but I feel the reaper should have better DMG and the same damage reduction or higher if there are no mate boosted mechanics added. An alternative you could add to the reaper is give it a 100 dmg base and give it a static 70% dmg reduction with no light along with a buff that doesn't allow nameless to spawn around. Making it truly feel like you've tamed a "Alpha" predator. The second suggestion is allowing reapers to climb walls like drakes. Wild reapers and queens are able to dig in the ground, why can't tamed ones just "dig their claws" on the walls and climb like that? This would give the reaper much better mobility but still weaker than rock drakes in the mobility side of the spectrum and play off the "xenomorph" concept that they're based off from.

    pls buff poison wyvern

    the wyverns are a cool part of the game, they are the reward for overcoming a lot of challenges, and are very valuable in all servers, but after playing a lot with 3 of them (but the ice one) i noticed that one is nowhere near as powerful as the others (or at least so it feels) and it is the poison wyvern, as far as i know, the only difference between wyverns besides the looks is the secondary "breath attack" and of all the 3, the poison one falls behind by far, it shoots a projectile that flyes slowly towards its target, and that makes it very easy to dodge, wich also negates its long-range cappacity in most situations, its breath also cant be used in close range due to it beeing far more likely to kill you than your target, aiming with it is painfull (even in comparison to the other 2) and to top it all up it has the worse hit registration in the game, (even when it looks like you hit something directly, the target doesnt suffer damage from the blast nor the poison area), what would you guys do to buff this ugly duckling?
  11. i don't know what everyone else thinks, but i think lightning is far stronger in all cases than the fire or poison. the poison is the most difficult to use and the weakest damage, that makes no sense. For the poison i would suggest making the projectile MUCH larger and do more of a area damage around the projectile even in the air. so a near miss would still do some damage like a poison aura. Even if you could add a damage seep through walls with the gas, that would be an awesome feature to differ from the other two. The fire should be longer range and more of a wider range of damage area. i feel the damage is pretty good. the lightning is just really OP. Its the easiest to aim for accuracy and if u get a direct contact that thing is dead. i would just like to see the other two more on par with the lightning to make them a little more desirable from the lightning. id like to here any other thoughts on the subject. agree or disagree, other suggestions. leave your feedback.

    so i had this idea for a item that gave those trophy items you get off of alphas and some creatures (rex arms, agent talons ECT). its a war horn that uses the yuty lungs and whatever trophy you want to give a different effect! an example would be the titanaboa venom would give all tribe mates in the AOE torpor damage or a rex arm would give a damage boost the possibilitys are... limited to the amount of trophys in the game. for balance it is one-use only and has a 20 second crafting time regardless of crafting skill level so you wont be making these on the fly.
  13. It's base weight seems to be massively increased. On my test case firebird, while the health was increase by 50%, the weight of mine was downright tripled, going from 300ish to well over 900. KInda curious why this wasn't news instead of the measly health buff it got. Granted, I seriously invested in weight on mine to see if I could get it to 300, and it was a test case bird as I'm a server admin for an unofficial, but still, barely discussed.

  15. I noticed on the SP sliders there are options for Tamed Dino Stats Per Level. All but Health and Damage at 1.0, while Health is 0.2 and damage is at 0.17. Is this default or a new nerf setting? I don't remember ever changing them from 1.0 (which I believed WAS default?) but once the new patch came out and updated everything the options got reduced to that. Is this just an option for Single Player? Is this how much Official stats are scaled for Health/Damage? Same goes for Tamed Dinos Add Per Level, where Health and Damage is 0.14 instead of 1.0, and Tamed Dino Stats Affinity, with Health and Damage at 0.44.

    Giga rework?

    I think the giga is too OP, innacurate and way too large. Now, don't mistake me for a butthurt noob who got his shanty house eaten by the alpha with the super OP beasts; Actually I'd be one of the people doing the munching on said beasts. I know gigas, Ive raised quite a few and ridden them a lot and let me say this.. They are broken. I honestly believe they need a big change before game release and this is what I would suggsuggest: 1.Change the size please..yes smaller.. I know you dont want your OP monsters shrinking but hear me out...A giga was realistically almost the same size as a T rex, not 20 feet taller... Real gigas were slightly larger and similar in body mass to a rex (SLIGHTLY larger) if you ask me, adolescent giga size is where they should stop growing to be more accurate and fair. 2.NERF yes NERF the damage. The damage output is ridiculous especially when they're bread popping out at 325-345 base % melee... A real gigas bite force was around 10000lb and a rex was around 12000lb... So shouldn't the rex do more damage? Gigas had 10 inch razor sharp teeth for SHEARING meat off limbs.. The giga should retain its bleed damage after tame, but do less base damage, while the rex should be truly bone crushing. 3.Giga stamina is trash currently..10 steps and you're done.. This is insane considering gigas would track and chase prey for days at a time hunting with a pack and picking off the weakest in the heard first. Gigas would outrun a rex for sure and lt would also outdo a rex in stamina. Buff stamina please... 4. Gigas often were pack hunters, pack buff? In conclusion the Giga needs some pretty drastic changes but I honestly believe it would be for the best and be much more balanced. Make them slightly smaller, reduce base damage (and buff rexes), give them better stam and retain the bleed damage they have when they are wild. Basically they should legitimately be larger, deadlier allosaurs in a sense.
