  1. WILD Protostega is one of the most interesting and mysterious animals of hostile Aberration. These turtles inhabit the entire water area of the Bio-Luminescent Chamber, spending most of their day hunting cnidarias. They will not attack the survivors unless they themselves are not touched. The speed of the protostega is quite high in the water but very slow on land, so the fight with it is not difficult. Hunting for protostega is necessary only for the extraction of a unique resource - a shell fragment, and so this turtle does not represent any nutritional value THE METHOD OF TAMING Prostostegs have poor eyesight and in the wild they mostly rely on light coming from the creatures themselves or the environment. That's why, survivor, you need to prepare the setting for a candlelit dinner. Be sure not to forget to cook a Blue Kambucha - the only treat for this turtle, which consists of Biotoxin, Rare Flowers, Aquatic and Ascerbic Mushrooms (made in Cooking Pot). Despite the fact that this drink is toxic to survivors and causes an effect comparable to the spores of poisonous flowers - protostegs love it and willingly take it directly from their hands DOMESTICATED These turtles have a pretty decent supply of health, which gives them an advantage during combat. Protostegs are also a real danger for alien karkinos, get it for yourself and you will get a supply of Organic Polymer for life. And if your dinosaurs are tired of fighting and they need recharging, then protostega can be an excellent replacement for daeodon - the main thing is not to forget to make enough Blue Kambucha. BREEDING Breeding these turtles is not easy. Since these are residents of one of the most inaccessible regions, they mate only at low temperatures around -30 °. Then the procedure is standard - you just need to hatch an egg and monitor the fulfillment of their desires
  2. SCRAT BUT IN ARK Ark has many creatures, including the mammoth, the saber-tooth tiger, the giant ground sloth, and even ice age baby(if you make you character creation correctly). So I thought to myself( which I sometimes think to myself) ,"What about scrat? Why is Scrat not in ark and all the other characters from ice age are?," So that gave me an idea! There is a creature vote coming for abb so why not make this creature perfect for this map. After hard(sort of) work, I INTRODOSE(idk how to spell) CRONOPIO!!! ANYWAY HERES THE DOSSIER DESCRIPTION WILD The Cronopio is a very unique creature. It's stealthy and nocturnal making it a very skilled hunter. Cronopio can become almost invisible besides a slight outline that is hard to spot before its to late. The Cronopio can jump from tree to tree. It can also climb up cliffs, trees, mushrooms, walls and even large creatures(pacers). Cronopio has a venomous bite that can knock out even the largest of creatures. This squirrel stalks its prey and watches in the shadows until the perfect moment. Dentiacutus has two different variants one having a bushy tail and other flat. Domesticated To tame the Cronopio you need to lure wild creatures into its territory. The Cronopio will realize your helping it and become tamed (this is way harder than it sounds). Once tamed Dentiacutus is a great travel, stealth, and pvp mount. It can be commanded to become invisible(sort of) and it can also be told to stalk specific prey to track down and kill. Cronopio can also hold structures such as walls, roofs and even vaults down on enemies(this is very different from the rhino). THE SADDLE!!!!! Text: "Two seater saddle and rocket launcher attachment" "Extra Padding on the side for bullet proof protection" I wanted to saddle to be something cool and unique so I did what any normal person would do and add a rocket launcher attachment, I think its cool thou. Anyway I thought of this saddle having like a riot themed saddle and good for snipers. PVP AND STEATH MODE Cronopio is a very useful pvp mount. The ability to climb walls at high speeds makes an easy access to an enemies base. You can also pick up body bags within the fangs of Cronopio, so if you died it's an easy recovery. The Saber-tooth squirrel has a unique ability to become invisible. Stealth mode lasts for one minute and has a cool down for five minutes. You can shorten the cool down by two seconds(seems like not a lot but if you being sniped then its very useful) if you have a pack of two Cronopios. If there is another added to the pack of two the cool down gets doubled. So if you have four Cronopios in a pack it gives eight seconds off the cool down. Stealth mode also gives you increased speed and jump hight.
  3. Another idea from my 11 yr old son. Erythrosuchus was the largest predator of its time, and was around 4.75–5 m (15.6–16.4 ft) long. It walked on all fours and had limbs positioned semivertically under its body, unlike the more sprawling gait of most earlier reptiles. Its head was large and theropod-like, reaching a length of 1 m (3.3 ft), and had sharp, conical teeth. was the largest erythrosuchid, but apart from its size, was largely similar in appearance to other related genera. It had a large head and comparatively short neck. One of the few distinguishing features of Erythrosuchus other than its size is the smoothness of the margin of the squamosal, a bone at the rear of the skull. In other erythrosuchids, the margin of this bone projects backward from the skull, giving it a hook-like appearance. In Erythrosuchus, the margin is convex and lacks a hook. Chomp and grab ability bleed out ability Rampage Mode Vicious Headbutt High Damage and Weight Good Battle Mount Harvest Bonus Organic Polymer Slow in water
  4. Again posting on behalf of my 11 yr old son Palaeobatrachus Palaeobatrachus (meaning "ancient frog" in Greek) is an extinct genus of frogs from Europe that existed from the middle Eocene to the middle Pleistocene (Ionian Stage) (621-568,000 years ago), spanning almost 50 million years. They were obligately aquatic, and would have not spent much time on dry land.[1] They are one of two genera and by far the largest genus in the family Palaeobatrachidae, which are considered to be members of Pipimorpha, related to the South American-African family Pipidae, which includes the African clawed frog and Surinam toad.[2] · Slap and claw ability · Orange, green, yellow variants · Jumps really high · Tongue has resin ability · Can Camouflage · Can swallow anything raptor size or smaller · Can crawl on walls · Fast water maneuverability This Abberant frog is a site to behold. With the ability to outmaneuver just about any water tame its perfect for getting out of those sticky situations. This frog has great defense ability in spitting resin from its mouth as well being able to camouflage with its environment. This tame is well aware of its surroundings and wont be an easy feat to tame the slightest attempt will cause this guy to flee. Grab your ghillie because your going to need to to stay out of this tames line of site.
  5. Luminaris is an creature that thrives in the otherworldly environment of the ARK Aberration map [Blue Zone]. It possesses a mesmerizing, bioluminescent glow that emanates from its sleek, aquatic / lizard body. Movement: Luminaris can crawl up and down like a megaliana and jump / glide like maewing gracefully through the subterranean caverns, its elegant tail leaving trails of shimmering light in its wake is also usefull for swimming make it pretty versitile. credits to Val for helping =} Main Skills: Attack 1: Bite R2 Attack 2: Tail whip or Tail spin. can be used underwater and stuns like a bary. L2 aura Infusion R3 button Luminaris possesses a unique resource gathering buff called Aura Infusion. By utilizing its connection to the bioluminescent energy found abundantly in the Aberration map, Luminaris can increase the gathering of resources. When activated, Luminaris channels its aura into nearby recource nodes like metal nodes / crystal nodes / gem nodes enhancing their quality making them take longer to break and increasing the amount u farm. Bioluminescent Aura [passive] Light Source: Luminaris provides a radiation-neutralizing light, illuminating dark areas, making it easier for survivors to navigate the treacherous underground terrain. Aura Shield Luminaris creates a radiant field of energy around itself as a shield once below 20% health, the shield will detonate making enamies in the surrounding area temp blind and stunned for 10 seconds. Pack bonus: If Luminaris is companied by another of its species, it gains a small health regen buff. Basic statistics Health: 650 Stamina: 500 Oxygen: 750 Food: 1000 Weight: 600 Melee damage: 100% Movement speed: 100% Torpor: 850 Taming method: Bioluminescent Bonding Introduction: To tame this fascinating creature, a unique taming method called "Bioluminescent Bonding" has been discovered. This method requires patience, stealth, and a deep understanding of this creature. Requirements: To embark on this taming journey, you'll need the following: Ghillie Suit: This specialized suit helps you blend in with the surroundings and reduces the chance of alerting Luminaris to your presence, once spooked it will attack. Charge Lantern: This lantern emits a soft, calming light that will attract Luminaris and create a bond between you and the creature. When the bond is complete u will be able to start passive taming using a diffrent variety of edibles. [the better the charge lantern the faster the bonding goes / higher taming efficiency] Taming Pen: Construct a small, enclosed area using either metal or tek to protect from the wild dangers.
  6. Smok - Was a type of large predatory archosaur living in the late Triassic in modern Europe. Its fossils come from sediments in the brickyard in Lisowice near Lubliniec, dated to the turn of the Norian and Rhaetian (205-200 million years). Measuring 5-6 m in length, of which nearly 50-60 cm was the skull, it was one of the largest Triassic archosaurs. "Smok" shows some features in theropods, rauisuchians and more primitive archosaurs. Omnivore Wild Smok will spawn near rivers and more infected aberration biome, where he will hide between rocks or in water .Using his glowing scales he will be able to charm other animals or players to come to his location slowly. You can escape the charm of smok by Eating an Aquatic Mushroom or Auric Mushroom depending if it would be found as Water type or Abberated Type. Taming To Tame This Gentleman You have to bring creatures to him, he will then devour them. The Bigger the animal or the bigger the level of the animal the more percentege in taming it will have. You also have to bring diffrent kinds of mushrooms because Smok will charm you too if you are not carefull with him, also between animals Smok might consider wanting a random type of mushroom because he is a picky eater. Tamed Water Type - He Gets Unlimited Oxygen underwater plus gets Boost to Damage and Speed near Water . His attacks also Give Bleed effect just like Allo.(More like an Archosaur) Abbilitys: His First abbility: Jaw Breaker- His Jaws Open Wide and Do A LOT OF DAMAGE and does bonus damage to all structures and animals underwater. Second Abbility: Super Tail- His Tail Starts To vibrate which cause All Nearby Agressive Creatures to Turn peacefull for 15 Sec. The Cool down for abbility is 30sec. Third Abbility -Roar! Abberated Type- With Being On Radiation comes Props of course . This type of Smok Is Getting Buffed on Radiated Biome and Surface in Strength and Protecion But Also Gets and Abbility to Climb Walls and Diffrent Surfaces with extreme speed. His Bite unlike His Water Brothers is Poisonous which helps with stronger creature cause it avoid any type of armor For Example Reapers.(As a More Theropod Like Dino) Abbilitys: His First abbility: Jaw Breaker- His Jaws Open Wide and Do A LOT OF DAMAGE and does bonus damage to all animals with More Strength . Second Abbility: Wall Run- His Claws Starts To stick to all surfaces which help him get around "Abberation". Third Abbility -Roar! Because The Debate About it Being more Like Archosaur or Theropod one type should be more theropod and the other one more like Archosaur. For The Sadlle i Thought Maybe Like a Green House With But With Metal as Like a Magmasaur or Andrewsarchus but smaller.
  7. Name: Laelaps Species: Dryptosaurus Chrysaetos Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Highly Agressive Wild Dryptosaurus Chrysaetos is one of most unique predator I ever seen. Like its name, it uses huge claws on their feet rather then biting. Once it sees its prey, it jumps toward prey, restraint it with its claw, and bite it until death. Also, dryptosaurus is much more agressive than the other predators, which makes it attack everything, including its own kind Domesticated For hunting, transporting, mining, and exploring, dryptosaurus becomes the most valuable choice for tribe. They even said that it has a unique pheromone on its feather, which makes it immunite from radioactive. But to tame it, it requires special part of organism for satisfaction, such as brain, heart, claws, teeth, and so on. Stats Health: 950 Stamina: 1000 Oxygen: 140 Food: 3000 Weight: 450 Melee Damage: 54 Movement speed: 100% Torpor: 1200 Behavior Laelaps spawns in mostly red zone, and extremly rarely at blue zone of Abberation. Simmular to karprosuchus, raptor, and thylacoleo, when laelaps detect survivors (or any other creatures), it will jump to ward to survivor, restaint it with its claws on its feet. When you gets restaint by laelaps, you will get Gashed effect. Also, they gets 1.2 damage compensation when its wild, just like wyverns. Laelaps is much more agressive than other predators, since they attack Almost every single creatures on ark, including its own kind. The only creatures that dosen't attacked by wild laelaps is Giganotosaurus, Charcharodontosaurus, Titanosaurus, Quetzal, Wyvern, Rock elemental, and Karkinos. If you kill wild laelaps, it will drop tribute called 'Dryptosaurus claw'. Taming laelaps can be tamed by special kind of Knock-out taming. First, you need to make laelaps unconcious. if you knock out laelaps, it will read as 'Laelaps is not satisfied to eat'. to satisfy laelaps, you must feed your tributes. Here is list of tributes, and number of them needed to satisfy laelaps. Reaper Pheromone - 1 needed Giganotosaurus heart - 1 needed Titanoboa venom - 2 needed Tusoteuthis tenticle - 3 needed Whyvern claws - 6 needed Deathworm horn - 8 needed Basilosaurus blabber - 10 needed Spinosaurus sail - 15 needed Rockdrake feather - 16 needed Basilisk scale - 16 needed Gasbag bladder - 16 needed Thylacoleo hook-claw - 18 needed Crystal claw - 20 needed Sauropod vertibrate - 24 needed Yutyrannus lung - 30 needed Megalania venom - 35 needed Tyrannosaurus arm - 37 needed Alpha tributes - 40 needed Allosaurus brain - 42 needed Dryptosaurus claw - 42 needed Sarcosuchus skin - 45 needed Megalodon teeth - 85 needed Once it eats certain amount of tributes, it will read 'Satisfied' and will starts eating what's on its inventory. Abilities Bite (Left click): gives 54 damage Jump attack (Right click): gives 10 damage. Aim point will appear first. Click again to jump on target. Only restaintalbe if target's base weight is under 500. Ground shake (C gives): 20 damage. Laelaps will jump high and crash to the ground, stunning small creatures nearby. Mine (Left click, only with mining helmet): gives 60 damage. Can collect stones, flints, metal, crystal, gems, etc from rock. pheromone production: Like Basilosaurus, laelaps will produce consumable called 'Laelaps pheromone'. If you consume this, you will be immunite from radioactive from 2 minutes. Also, laelaps it self is also immunite from radioactive. Saddles Normal saddle: unlocked in level 57 Mining helmet: unlocked in level 57; equiping this to laelaps enable it to harvest rocks and crystals, just like Ankylosaurus. Also gives additional melee damage (54 increases to 60). Bariations Laelaps has Abberant version of it. TMI https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dryptosaurus Dryptosaurus was closely related to Tyrannosaurus The species name of laelaps, Chrysaetos, was came from golden eagle. Hope you guys like this idea 🦖 🦖
  8. The Borealopelta is a heavily armored herbivore that can take a lot of damage from predators. It has a unique ability to camouflage itself, making it difficult for predators to spot. It's also a slow mover, so it's best to keep it in a protected area. Since the Borealopelta is a heavily armored herbivore, it would likely be able to withstand many of the dangers of the Aberration environment, such as radiation and hazardous terrain. However, it may struggle with the lack of vegetation in some areas, so it would need to be placed in an area where it can easily access food. Additionally, the Borealopelta's ability to camouflage itself could be especially useful in Aberration, as it would allow it to blend in with its surroundings and avoid detection by predators. To tame a Borealopelta in Ark Aberration, you would need to first knock it unconscious using a tranquilizer. Once it's unconscious, you can feed it its preferred food, which is Rockarrot. You'll need to continue feeding it Rockarrot until the taming bar is full. It's important to note that the Borealopelta has a very slow taming process, so be prepared to wait a while. Once it's tamed, you'll have a heavily armored herbivore that can take a lot of damage and has the unique ability to camouflage itself. In Ark Aberration, the Borealopelta is a passive creature, meaning that it won't attack unless provoked. However, if it is attacked, it will defend itself with its heavy armor and large size. It's important to note that the Borealopelta's slow movement speed can make it vulnerable to predators, so it's best to keep it in a protected area. Additionally, the Borealopelta's ability to camouflage itself can make it difficult to locate, so be sure to keep an eye on it if you're in an area with predators. A tamed Borealopelta in Ark Aberration would be useful for protection against predators, as its heavy armor and large size make it a formidable opponent. Additionally, the Borealopelta's ability to camouflage itself can make it difficult for predators to detect, making it a great defense against surprise attacks. Finally, the Borealopelta's slow movement speed can make it a good choice for base defense, as it can be placed in a strategic location to protect your base from enemy attacks. Saddle? Unfortunately, it's not possible to craft a saddle for the Borealopelta in Ark Aberration. While the Borealopelta can be tamed and ridden, it does not have a saddle that can be crafted. Instead, you'll need to use the Borealopelta's natural abilities to your advantage, such as its heavy armor and camouflage, to protect yourself and your base. In Ark Aberration, you can find Borealopelta in the Aberration Trench, which is located in the deepest part of the Aberration map. The Aberration Trench is a dangerous area filled with radiation, hazardous terrain, and dangerous creatures, so be sure to come prepared with plenty of supplies and a strong team of creatures to help you navigate the area safely. Additionally, the Borealopelta can sometimes be found wandering in other areas of the map, but it's most commonly found in the Aberration Trench.
  9. (Wildcard is censoring all mention of it’s name with sausage, keep in mind it’s real name is on the dossier, the L is to avoid censorship) When I was a young child, first getting into prehistory, I loved looking for the superlatives, the biggest dinosaur, the last mammoth, etc. But there was one that eluded me, the oldest. The dinosaurs lived a long time ago, yes, but reptiles are older, and fish older still. Eventually I was lead to the Cambrian and the explosion in life that many of our modern lifeforms can f trace there ansestors back to. But I still wanted older. Then I found it. A small group of organisms, called the Ediacaran biota, strange animals from many millions of years before the Cambrian. They were unusual, quilt-patterned animals that resemble ferns more than you or I, the tri-laterally symmetrical disks, and the largest of them all, the one-and-a-half metre Dlckinsonia. When I first read of these, little was know, were they even animals? Fungi? Some unknown experimentation of life? Nowerdays, they are nearly universally believed to be animals, but the much mystery remains. Many years later, I first booted up and played ark, I loved the game, and it would rapidly exceed all other of my games in playtime. I loved the game, as I adored prehistoric life. Only last year, I begun a playthrough on Aberration, while the last two votes ment less to me as I wasn’t on either Scorched Earth or Ragnarok during the vote. But because I was playing on Aberration, I have an idea of what creature I’d want on the map. Have you ever wanted to build a base where you shouldn’t? Perhaps near the fertile lake or in the more rural regions of the blue zone? Have you feared that nameless or reapers May spawn if your light pets ever run out of charge? Or been inconvinved by having to travel far to reach a charge node? Well I have a solution, the beast from long before all others aboard the ark, Dlckinosonia! Here’s a transcript of what was written on the soldier above: -Wild. I had long believed the trilobite was the oldest animal to be found, but while journeying beside through the lower parts of this broken ark, I found something much older. Dlckinsonia luxavora congregates around the bioluminescent -Domesictaed. I doubt Dlckinsonia has the brain power to be domesticated, but by taking advantage of it’s hunger, one can be lead to a more useful location. So, what use would this pose to you, as a survivor? Well I have two main ideas. First off, if you wanna make a base in the blue zone, you often need to fill it with glowtails and featherlights to prevent nameless from killing all your tames, I prepose Dlckinsonia would resolve this by acting as a standing charge source, giving off charge light permanently in a certain radius, with no need to recharge. Along with this, my concept includes the ability to function as a charge node, allowing you to fill up your batteries or craft element from your base. Finally, it would be able to accumulate oil in it’s inventory, helping ease the resource’ rarity on aberration, How would you tame such a beast? Well for this I prepose something similar to the beloved method of the troodon, you have to feed it your tames. But not just any tames, your light pets. This will cause it to rear up like shown on the dossier, giving it effectiveness when it kills them. Rinse and repete and you got yourself a anti-reaper carpet. As I know from the Dinopithecus wildcard loves to give creature submissions some usability for PvP, so I suggest possibly giving it bear trap/plant species R functionality, where a player walking near will be trapped and have to button mash to escape, giving the, use outside of aberration. To adresss some possible questions: Do you mean this to be an upgrade to/replace light pets? No, unlike lights pets, it is not pickupable by hand, and I intend it to be more of a base deafense/utility tame. Where would it spawn? I’m thinking it would spawn rarely around the blue lake, and more common around the crystalline lake deeper in the blue zone. Why should I pick this over the Reaper Emperor? It’s all up to, I am proposeing this to help take some of the lategame grind away from aberration, maybe not adding to much, but making it a more enjoyably experience.
  10. OVERVEIW The Zanabazar makes getting out of the Red-Zone so much simpler. It having so strong claws that they are able to use them as climbing picks and scale montains and cliffs, even in earthquakes! WILD (CARNIVORE, TERRITORIAL) It will be slow (both climbing and running) so it will mostly prey on smaller and slower creatures than itself (often Light-pets). It will be highly territorial but not aggressive. It will usually spawn alone in the border between the Green and Blue zone. DOMESTICATED TAMING: You will need to knock it out (The Standard Way) then it will want any of the light-pets dragged to its mouth and eaten, how many depends on the level. While doing these things you will need to manage the torpor drain of the creature (Which will be pretty high). When tamed and with a saddle it will be able to climb similar to the rock drake but much slower by walking up to a surface and pressing RIGHT CLICK (to mount the surface). It will still be slow but as strong as a carno. CONTROLS Movement: W, A, S, D Attack: LEFT CLICK Attach to surface: RIGHT CLICK Sprint: LEFT SHIFT THE PICTURE IS: N O T M I N E
  11. Original Species (Indosuchus Raptorius) not my drawing Dossier Species: Indosuchus Diablovenator Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive (especially to Nameless) Wild: I have noticed that much of the prehistoric wildlife in these caverns are pretty aberrant compared to the prehistoric wildlife I encountered on the island and desert with them most notably glowing in the dark but one dino stands out from the rest, Indosuchus Diablovenator, for one I did not encounter it on the previous space stations and secondly it seems more derived than the other prehistoric creatures with numerous adaptations for dwelling in these caverns. Firstly Indosuchus is capable of swimming on the surface of molten element allowing it to escape many dangerous situations as other creatures can't dwell in molten element without getting hurt, secondly, Indosuchus has a corrosive breath that burns the skin of anything that comes into contact with the breath. Most creatures run away from Indosuchus when they come face to face with its breath but Nameless aren't one of them, in order to deter them Indosuchus will go out of its way to consume charge light emitting creatures and certain bioluminescent plant seeds & fruits to turn its corrosive breath into a glowing corrosive breath capable of blinding adversaries who have the misfortune of being in its way. Domesticated: Indosuchus Diablovenator is an incredibly popular creature for survivors to tame due to its ability to traverse the deepest parts of the caverns and its anti-nameless breath. One should note that taming Indosuchus can prove to be a bit difficult as it seems only Nameless venom will pacify them into being tamed. On its anti-nameless breath certain survivors have trained Indosuchus to fire its breath in multiple ways, the two most common ways are 1. A slow moving "breath ball" similar to how a Basilisk spits its venom and 2. A rapid-fire method where Indosuchus fires multiple diminutive but fast moving breath balls at targets, the fire-rate specifically is similar to the very advanced element rifles the group of survivors I'm with mainly use. Technical Stuff: Basic Rundown of what it can do/is. ⦁ A Medium Sized Theropod that's been upscaled a bit to the size of Ark's Baryonyx. ⦁ It is capable of swimming on the surface of molten element and is immune to radiation, emphasis on the surface of molten element. ⦁ It has a breath attack where it spews a corrosive gas like a flamethrower that deals damage and that's kind it. ⦁ If it kills a charge light-emitting creature or consumes a Plant Species Z seed or fruit it's breath attack gets the ability to blind enemies (similar to how Plant Z Fruit flashbang stuff) after a while of using the breath attack on them. However, after a few minutes or so the buff will go away. When buffed the breath attacks will do extra damage to Nameless and Reapers ⦁ Once tamed you can use the breath (buffed or not) in multiple different modes not just the flamethrower-like mode. ⦁ The first new firing mode similar to the Basilisk's spit in that it fires a ball of corrosive gas, it will instantly flashbang enemies if buffed however the ball is slow moving. ⦁ The Second Mode is similar in fire rate to a Tek Rifle, unlike the first mode if buffed the breath attacks will not instantly flashbang enemies instead you need to do several shots to the head of your enemies in order to blind them. ⦁ If you use too much of the charge breath will buffed you will get out of the buff early regardless of mode so don't just spam. ⦁ In order to tame it you must knock it unconscious the usual style then feed it Nameless Venom.
  12. Common name: Big Heads Species name: Formicium Acronum Time: Unknown Diet: Omnivorous Temperament: Aggressive Wild: The concept of Formicium Acronum is quite terrifying. It wields massive mandibles perfectly designed for shredding into unsuspecting prey. They’ve shown to have a special taste for the flesh of mammals, and with its climbing capabilities… You should be careful not to get too close. Tamed: Once tamed, Formicium Acronum proves to be an incredibly versatile mount. The Big Heads strength is unmatched. Although it may sound surprising, it's frequently used in farming! Its ability to pick up and move large dinosaurs makes it an invaluable herder. Although it is most commonly used in agriculture, do not mistake it for a coward. Its attacks are hasteful and relentless and when in a pack they quickly become overwhelming to even the strongest of beasts if not disposed of quickly, and their armor makes that all the more difficult. Taming: Taming a is quite freaky. The player must kill all but one of the giant ants in a pack and then passively feed the last remaining giant ant Rare Mushrooms. Once the ant is fully tamed it will have been fully taken over by the mushrooms and it will follow your commands. Behavior: In the wild, Formicium Acronum can be found in groups killing things in the Fertile region of the map. Attacks: The primary attack is a fast bite attack. Secondary attack is a “shred” attack. While holding the button which is assigned to the secondary attack the Big Heads movement speed is slowed and it deals a continuous flow of damage to those it makes contact with. This shred attack also deals an armor piercing effect where the more the target is hit by the shred attack the more the target's armor is neutralized (similar to amargasaurus’s armor piercing spike). The third attack is a grab. This grab can pick players off of mounts and pick up dinos up to the weight class of Direbears. The Big Head can damage the picked up creature using the primary or secondary attack mentioned above. The fourth attack would be a projectile attack. The ant shoots a blob of goo from its gaster (behind) which will act as a tracking beacon. Whatever the goo hits its exact coordinates will be shown on screen to the player for 5 minutes or until the player places a new tracking beacon, or the dino/survivor is uploaded/cryopodded. Abilities: Insects Vengeance: After successfully killing a mammal, including survivors, Big heads receive a melee damage increase for a period of time. Harvesting: Big heads would be very good at harvesting resources such as clay, sand, mushrooms and fungal wood. They also have a pack bonus.
