I will be honest, i didn’t like the Fasolasuchus, it combines with the Scorched earth map and it can be a great method for taming golems, but i really liked the giant moa just it being a recently extinct creature and resisting to sandstorms was just enough motives to vote on him, but it lost to the fasolasuchus, if you voted to the fasolasuchus i understand why and this is not a hate post so i am going to talk about it good and bad points. The fasolasuchus design isn’t my favorite, but that not the author’s fault because i think it is a little darker in the dossier i prefer the original design, the taming method is a bit strange it remembers me a bull fight for some reason but is very original, and finally the abilities, the Fasolasuchus abilities make it seem like a sand shark, and that’s ossom and i also liked it beign an easier form to tame golems it’s cool. Final note: i give the Fasolasuchus a 7. I will talk about the ragnarok winner later.

TL;DR - Gobiraptor Minutus is a small theropod that attaches to Corrupted creatures in the Wasteland to feed off their Element. Kill the creature it's on and feed it Element to tame it. Keep it fed or it will enter an enraged "Hangry" mode. Naturally sniffs out explorer notes and scares off small creatures like pegos/microraptor. With interchangeable craftable TEK modules, it can use HLN-A's scan ability and stun TEK creatures and equipment for a short time. A rare costume can be obtained from Corrupted Alphas that allows you to 3-D print skins. Dossier: Wild: Gobiraptor Minutus is a big deal for such a little guy. It can be found in the wastelands around the Sanctuary City - well, actually found on the Corrupted creatures in the Wasteland! Gobiraptor has found a unique way of processing the Element that usually corrupts creatures and as such it latches onto larger infected creatures and feeds off them! Taming: Taming one of these little ones is a unique challenge; the first step is to remove them from the creature they're attached to by killing the creature without hurting the gobiraptor. They can latch onto something as small as Triceratops or something as dangerous as a Gigantosaurus! And the task of removal is difficult in itself: attempting to kill the creature with a tame is too imprecise, so you'll have to do it manually. In addition, if the gobiraptor takes damage at any point it will scurry off or - worse - die! The best trick we've found is to use a precise weapon like a sniper or bow to kill the Corrupted Creature. Once it's off you can feed it some form of Element, until it's tamed. Be careful though! If it finds another Corrupted Creature to latch onto you'll have to start all over! Domesticated: Aside from being adorable, these guys have a variety of uses for just about any type of Survivor! Santiago even made some cute little helmets for them! My personal favorite is what he calls the Data Scanner: helpful for looking at a creature's information. Santiago likes the Pulse Extender better - apparently it amplifies the natural bio-electricity of the little guy to temporarily fry nearby TEK - useful against those defense units. Even without the addons, Gobiraptor is quite useful. He can sniff out nearby data points, frighten away pesky creatures like pegomastax and microraptor. Finally, Gobiraptor also has the ability to temporarily power nearby electronics - like a short term, portable, bio-battery! As an addendum, Kaz was able to find a 3-D printer in the stomach of one of the larger carnivores. If you attach it to Gobiraptor, the Element it passively eats will charge the printer and you can print some unique costumes. Seeing Kaz walking around with bunny ears on his head is worth all the trouble I've been through. Make sure to feed your little guy. If he gets too hungry, he'll get hangry and start attacking you and your tames. -* So the idea with this creature was originally a bot, but I wasn't sure if that was allowed so I picked a cute dinosaur to adapt the idea to. Extinction has long been missing a shoulder pet, and I was wondering what would be the most useful creature for a survivor who has already beaten the ARKs and is now facing down the Titans. Gobiraptor perches on the medium to large size Corrupted creatures in the Wasteland. Before you can even begin the taming you have to find one you want to tame, then kill whatever it's attached to - it could be as mundane as a Trike or as terrifying as a Giga! And you can't use creatures - it will instantly kill the Gobiraptor. Additionally, weapons like shotguns or TEK rifles can hurt the Gobiraptor which will cause it to flee and despawn. So you need to kill the creature with a precision weapon. Once the creature is dead, Gobiraptor will be a little lost and just stand there, confused for a few seconds. This is the perfect time to run in and feed it some Element! At first it'll just take dust, then shards, then whole Element, repeating the cycle until tamed - similar to Astrodelphis. After eating it will curl up and take a nap. When it wakes up you can feed it again! Be careful though, feeding Gobiraptor Element will trigger an effect similar to basilos and attract nearby Corrupted creatures - and if one large enough gets close, Gobiraptor will latch on and you'll have to start all over. I thought this would be a tough and unique taming method while not being as infuriating as amargasaurus. It gives the Wasteland some life and a bit of challenge to the corrupted creatures. Alone, Gobiraptor will scare off the more pesky creatures of the ARKs like pegos, microraptor, etc. similar to a Sinomacrops. Additionally it can sniff out explorer notes like a direwolf - something I really wish a shoulder pet could do. There are two TEK helmets you can craft and equip on it: The DATA Sensor and the Pulse Extender. The DATA Sensor gives you HLN-A's scanning ability while the Pulse Extender allows the Gobiraptor to temporarily stun TEK equipment/creatures. It has a limited range and short effect - but enough to give you a head start getting away or turn an ambush into a fair fight. The PAC Attachment (Purify Absorb Convert) goes in the costume slot. Overtime as Gobiraptor consumes Element it will build charge which it will store in the PAC. You can use this charge as a form of currency to 3-D print skins! As a bonus I'd love an exclusive skin set to Gobiraptor - maybe a Corrupted TEK skin set. While the other two modules can be crafted, the PAC can only be found as a rare drop from Corrupted Alphas. It will be broken when you find it and you'll have to repair it. The battery part I'm iffy on, but to round it out I included it. Basically Gobiraptor can be placed down and set into battery mode. It will consume more Element (Like Daeodon) and power structures in a small range. Finally, Gobiraptor's allegiance is only bought with Element, fail to feed it and it will quickly turn on you and your tames. While it is in "Hangry Mode" it will attack tames and you, and also damage any TEK related items or structures in an attempt to feed. You can try to pacify it with Element but good luck - it's fast moving and deadly when enraged - you'll probably end up having to kill it. Stethacanthuses! The sonar and night vision deep water shark!
Tippitys posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Introducing the Stethacanthuses! A prehistoric Devonian era shark that feasts on small fish and other underwater creatures down at the very depths of the ocean. With neutral temperament and carnivorous diet, this interesting shark is perfect for searching through caves or even the depths of the ocean where it comes from. The Stethacanthuses will have a unique saddle that allows the dinosaur to provide night vision to the rider which will enhance vision underwater, making the depths of the ocean far less terrifying. The Stethacanthuses will also have a built in sonar provided by its uniquely shaped dorsal fin, this will help detect underwater creatures and threats to ensure you can defend yourself. The Stethacanthuses is perfect for both sides of the ARK, the PvP and PvE with it providing a useful night vision effect for deepwater diving which can assist in finding valuable resources or bases/other players. The sonar also being incredibly useful for both PvE and PvP because of the fact it can assist in raiding or be stationed near a group of tames or an ocean base to ensure that no wild dinos or tamed dinos can get close to attack. In the wild, Stethacanthuses will not attack humans unless provoked, when provoked, Stethacanthuses will go into a fit of rage using their sharp teeth and fins to attack the aggressor dealing bleed damage and a crushing 2% total health instantly lost with the new "Crushed" effect which (as previously stated) causes any HUMAN to lose 2% of their maximum health in one bite. This effect can be activated every 5 seconds. Once domesticated, the Stethacanthuses will be a viable asset to any aquatic squadron, it will also be a valuable chitin farming creature with its 50% less carry weight and 70% increased gathering efficiency on chitin. Domesticated Stethacanthuses will be an invaluable tool for all cave exploration and deep sea diving with the night vision saddle and sonar detection provided by the anvil shaped dorsal fin. Notes: - Stethacanthuses introduces a new, unique underwater tame for The Center that is unlike any other -Sonar helps to locate potential threats and shut down ambushes (much like the parasaur but in water) -night vision prevents the need of gamma adjusting while switching between underwater and on land -chitin farming underwater becomes even easier -"Crushed" effect helps eliminate human threats faster than ever -adds the first new Devonian era creature since Aberration I hope you all consider my creature for the vote, I would love to see this Devonian era shark make its way into the game with some futuristic upgrades. Vote for the Stethacanthuses now! -
In the ragnarok vote my vote went to the miracynonix but i didn’t got mad about the gigantoraptor winning,it was presented in the previous vote but i thought it didn’t matched the map, but ragnarok is ok for the gigantoraptor, i mean a map like the isle or lost island would be better for a dino of that kind in my opinion. But let’s analyse it, The design, the design is just wonderfull in the dossier the creator even showed the cockatoo that inspired it’s design, and cockatoos are simply wonderfull animals i would had prefered a light colored cockatoo for the design but the more darker cockatoo is still wonderfull, the taming method is also amazing is original simple to understand and you can get access to the babies naturaly, the abiliaties are ok if your creature has the size of a rex is already preety good. Final note: i give to the Gigantoraptor a 9. I will talk about the aberration vote winner later.

You might know that recently we had some ark creature votes, each one has a creature that is going to a specific map in Ark survival ascended, recently we had the ark aberration vote so i wanted to discuss the vote winners. The the island vote winner was the Rhyniognatha a big and powerfull arthropod, at first i didn’t liked it but when it’s design in the game was revealed i liked it, so it’s design is ok but what about the taming method and abilities, i think the taming method is ok, not the same as the majority of the creatures but is a bit complex killing one and then going to find another one and then use the pheromone but ok, the abilities of the Rhyniognatha are ossom, it flies it shoots it swims and it has the size of a rex, this is simply wonderfull. Final note: i give the Rhyniognatha a 8.5 I will talk about the other vote winners later

Introduction: ARK: Survival Evolved is a popular open-world survival game that allows players to explore a vast prehistoric landscape filled with a variety of fascinating creatures. The game offers players an immersive experience, presenting them with the opportunity to interact with and tame a diverse range of animals. However, one notable absence from the current roster of creatures is the Sheepshead fish. In this essay, we will discuss why the Sheepshead fish deserves a place in ARK: Survival Evolved and how its inclusion would enhance the game's overall experience. Ecological Diversity: ARK: Survival Evolved prides itself on showcasing a rich ecosystem that mirrors the prehistoric world. Introducing the Sheepshead fish to the game would contribute to this goal by increasing the diversity of marine life. The Sheepshead fish, also known as Archosargus probatocephalus, is a saltwater species found along the coastlines of North America. Its unique appearance and distinct behavior would provide players with a fresh and engaging underwater experience. Realism and Educational Value: Adding the Sheepshead fish to ARK: Survival Evolved aligns with the game's commitment to realism. The inclusion of this species would help educate players about the marine life that existed during prehistoric times. By accurately modeling its appearance, behavior, and habitat, players would have the opportunity to learn more about this fascinating creature. This educational aspect adds depth to the game and can spark curiosity and interest in real-world biology and paleontology. Gameplay Mechanics: The Sheepshead fish possesses several attributes that would make it an interesting addition to the gameplay mechanics of ARK: Survival Evolved. For instance: 3.1. Unique Feeding Mechanism: The Sheepshead fish is known for its distinctive set of teeth, which resemble human molars. These teeth are specifically adapted to crush and grind shellfish, crustaceans, and other hard-bodied prey. Implementing this feeding behavior could introduce a new mechanic to the game, where players would need to find and consume shellfish in order to satisfy the dietary needs of tamed Sheepshead fish. 3.2. Underwater Interaction: ARK: Survival Evolved already offers a diverse range of aquatic creatures, and the Sheepshead fish would further enhance the underwater gameplay. Players could swim alongside these fish, feed them, and even ride them, opening up new possibilities for exploration and transportation in the game's vast oceanic environments. Aesthetics and Customization: The Sheepshead fish possesses a unique appearance that would add visual appeal and aesthetic variety to the game. Its silver-gray body, prominent black stripes, and distinct facial features would make it a visually stunning addition to the existing roster of creatures. Additionally, the game could incorporate a range of color variations, allowing players to customize their tamed Sheepshead fish to suit their preferences. Cultural Significance: The Sheepshead fish holds cultural significance in various coastal communities. It is a popular game fish sought after by anglers, and its inclusion in ARK: Survival Evolved would resonate with players who have a personal connection to this species. Such cultural representation can foster a sense of inclusivity and appeal to a wider audience. Conclusion: The addition of the Sheepshead fish to ARK: Survival Evolved would enhance the game's ecological diversity, provide educational value, introduce new gameplay mechanics, and offer aesthetic customization options. Furthermore, it would contribute to the game's commitment to realism and align with its goal of recreating a prehistoric world filled with diverse and fascinating creatures. By acknowledging the importance of the Sheepshead fish and including it in the game, ARK: Survival Evolved would create a more immersive and engaging experience for players worldwide.

creature vote Cambroraster the fish: creature submission :)
cambrian posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
name cambroraster falcatus time period cambrian temperament neutral diet omnivore abilities none I feel like there are too many animals with gimmicks so I figure we should just add one for ambience. The cambroraster will swim around and is a source of chitin and fish meat but is otherwise useless. This creature should be added because I think it would really stand out from the competition and it is a good looking animal that is not well known and I think ARK: Survival Evolved should really focus on educating the public about prehistoric life as the gamers of today are the scientists of tomorrow. Thank you for reading my submission and I hope you have a good day-

Volgadraco was a genus of Azhdarchid Pterosaur from late cretaceous Russia. It was a close relative to the already implemented Quetzalcoatolus. Despite Volgadraco being smaller than Quetzalcoatolus, it is actually taller than a Quetz. Here's a dossier I drew and compiled. BEHAVIOUR AND ECOLOGY: Volgadraco fly long distances in search of watering holes and small creatures to eat. Volgadraco can use its massive beak to pick up and carry small dinosaurs and players. Volgadraco can drink directly from water veins and lakes, similar to the Cryolophosaurus from Ark Additions, and once they consume water they will convert it into oil, which can be used identically to normal oil. Alternatively, the oil it extracts can be shot as a projectile from its mouth, the expelled oil will not only slow down its victims, but it will also be highly flammable, and can be ignited with a flaming arrow. weapons can be shot off the back of the mount because of this. The creatures saddle has 2 oil tanks on the sides of it, used for extra oil storage. The oil it produces CAN spoil, similar to Basilosaurus oil, however when it is kept within the saddle it spoils at a much slower rate. TAMING METHOD: the Volgadraco is a passive tame, similar to the Desmondus. keep oil in your inventory and let it grab you in its beak, it will then drink the oil off of your character and begin taming. The amount of oil required depends on your servers rates. The real life version of Volgadraco TLDR - Can drill for oil in water veins and lakes - Can spit out flammable oil puddles - Can slow down enemies with its oil spit, covering them in a flammable black tar - Can pick up small creatures and players

So basically as the title says, we should be having a TLC dino vote instead of a new creature vote, we have so many dinos as it is, that are just horrible to look at, and offer nothing new to the game. Look at your Bronto, your Queztal, your megaleceros, they look terrible, and are really pathetic to use. What happened to our TLC updates we were getting. With this I propose we make ark creatures great again. We should do a vote for a creature to get a tlc update and what kind of attributes it gets and how it might change visually. This would breath new life into those old creatures instead of everyone just going out and taming the new stuff, we could update the old stuff so that its as good as the new stuff.

Introducing the Bourou, a giant snail of epic proportions (scientific name: Charonia tritonis) that will revolutionize the way you play Ark Survival Evolved. This colossal creature boasts an enormous shell that serves as both a mobile home and armored transport for players, offering unparalleled protection and mobility. Imagine having a nearly unstoppable fortress, with the ability to move around the map with ease! Once tamed, players can craft a mount that offers a trapdoor access into the shell, creating a fully enclosed and impenetrable armoured transport. The shell is made of a super-hardened material that is 10 times stronger than metal, making it an excellent defence against even the mightiest of Giga attacks. The large size of the Bourou also allows for players to craft a 4x4 foundation set inside, turning it into a veritable fortress. Imagine having a fully equipped base with crafting tables, storage chests, and even a bed for respawning, all inside the safety and comfort of the Bourou's shell (if game engine permits). Otherwise, its inventory system acts as a crafting platform and bed, allowing players to respawn back into it. It's the ultimate survival tool, with all the amenities of home at your fingertips. But the Bourou isn't just a "fortress on wheels", it's also a foraging powerhouse. It can forage berries and thatch efficiently, and over time its inventory also increases with polymer and random types of mushrooms. With the Bourou by your side, you'll never have to worry about running low on resources again. It's like having a portable loot room, and you'll be able to gather resources more efficiently greater safety than ever before. One of the Bourou's special traits is its ability to climb nearly any surface, including vertically scaling mountains or cliffs. Its large shell also allows it to trap lots of air, providing the player with a week-long duration of underwater seabed crawling, adding a new style of exploration for players. Imagine being able to explore the depths of the sea without the need for a diving suit, or traversing treacherous mountain ranges with ease. The Bourou opens up a whole new world of possibilities, and you'll be able to discover hidden locations and secrets that were previously unreachable for many players. For nomads, the Bourou serves as a mobile home, and for PVP, it offers a new attack style to infiltrate even the most defensive bases. However, only a single person can reside in it at a time. With the Bourou, you'll be able to outsmart and outmaneuver your enemies, and outlast them in the wild. The Bourou is the perfect companion for players looking to expand their exploration and combat capabilities in Ark Survival Evolved. With its unique features and capabilities, it adds an exciting new dimension to the game and will take your survival experience to the next level. Get ready to dominate the game with the Bourou by your side! Pros: Mobile home and armored transport: Tame the Bourou and craft a mount that offers a trapdoor access into the shell, creating a fully enclosed and durable armored transport. Super-hardened shell: The shell is made of a super-hardened material that is 10 times stronger than metal, making it an excellent defense against attacks. Multi-purpose interior: The large size of the Bourou allows for players to craft a 4x4 foundation set inside, where they can place crafting tables, storage chests, and even a bed for respawning. Its inventory system also acts as a crafting platform and bed. Foraging and inventory increase: The Bourou may not deal significant hit point damage, but it can forage berries and thatch efficiently, and over time its inventory also increases with polymer. Versatile movement: The Bourou can climb nearly any surface, including vertically scaling mountains or cliffs. Its large shell also allows it to trap lots of air for a week-long duration of underwater seabed crawling. Perfect for nomads and PVP: For nomads, the Bourou serves as a mobile home, and for PVP, it offers a new attack style to infiltrate even the most defensive bases. Cons: Limited capacity: Only a single person can reside in the Bourou at a time. Low damage output: The Bourou does little to no hit point damage. Large size: The Bourou is large and may be difficult to maneuver in tight spaces. Slow movement: The Bourou is a snail, so it moves slowly Underwater seabed crawling can be useful but also can be dangerous, players need to be prepared for deadly squid attacks which can pluck the player outside the shell. *** Updates *** Thanks to everyone, great suggestions from the community and comments from Loaded Crysis YouTube mini series submission review (channel link below). * Change foundations from 4x4 to 2x2. * Bourou being a snail suffers damage while traversing over desert biome. In winter it may benefit the player as having a level of insulation to protect from the cold. * Possible weapon weakness to avoid OP tanking. Thanks to everyone for the awesome support! Looking for a great Ark news source? Loaded Crysis YT channel offers regular videos covering all things Ark related. We've enjoyed it for years. https://www.youtube.com/@LoadedCrysis

The Colossus Penguin - Palaeeudyptes klekowskii Timeline: Eocene Era The Colossus Penguin was on average over 2.1 Meters tall and weighed over 140kg. A penguin bigger than most full grown men, resilient in the coldest weather, able to dive deep into the sea, incredibly fast in water, slides in land, helps raise young dinos, durable, and insulates. Facts: A flightless bird that is fast and agile both on land and in the water. Their wings are anatomically the same as flighted birds only shorter and stouter making them stronger for use as fins. Penguins can swim at an estimated speed of 36km and dive to depths of over 550 meters with ease. When cresting they can burst out of the water at the same speed, launching themselves up onto land, ice, even ships, far out of the reach of predators. On land they utilize their aerodynamic fusiform shape to hurl themselves and slide on their bellies at speeds that can surpass even their underwater rates. It's diet mainly consists of seafood (krill squid and fish). Even when gaining extra weight for incubating their eggs, they hardly eat more than normal. They have a bowel movement on average every 20 minutes. Their feathers are tight and layered with four types of feather that make for thick insulating plumage protecting them from the elements as well as most environmental hazards. Generally penguins are peaceful, though known to be feisty, especially when watching over their young. If a mother penguin loses an egg or a chick, it often seeks to try and steal another to raise as it's own. Loving affectionate creatures that form strong bonds with their young. They develop sounds that only they and their young recognize. In-game: As a mount- Single person mount, can ride as it slides and glides across land. Extremely fast water mount that can descend and ascend quicker than any other water mount, burning stamina ascending will launch out of the water, takes no fall damage, can take a lot of damage, eats at a very slow rate. As a nanny- Imprints dinos within range with a squawk and nuzzle animation. As an incubator- Can incubate 1 egg underneath it 10x faster than normal incubation. Storage- Works like a refrigerator. Combat- Fast mount, durable. Kibble- Drops eggs that can be used for Extraordinary Kibble Fertilizer- Drops large feces often.

As the name already says, it would be a giant flea that you could tame and ride, (close to a Phiomia size). It would be a great mount and extremely fast in jumping locomotion (fleas can jump 200x their size), as you can imagine, it would suck the blood of creatures and also produce a kind of poisonous saliva. (it will be useful later on in the topic <3) Domestication: Passively, using blood bags, the flea would behave aggressively, therefore it would be necessary to use repellent, to ride it would not be mandatory to use a saddle. Speaking of the saddle, our dear flea would have a differentiated saddle that would release a new item that would use its saliva (produced in its inventory), to make "sticky bombs with poison", would give torpor and residual damage, with its saddle it would be possible to throw these "bombs" Spawn Location: Caverns. Some skills: - Normal attack, with its front claws. (Collect blood packs with each attack) - Attack that would give a push and have a short cooldown to be used again. - Just like Deinonychus , it would be able to stick to medium to large creatures, only differently, the stamina would not drop as fast and it would heal. - Giant jump and rechargeable, would not take fall damage (Ark's biggest jump). - Could stick to surfaces, not climb, just cling, Tapejara style. - When not tamed, it would transmit some kind of disease to the player. Final remarks: A meaningless idea I had lol. Any errors in the sentences, sorry. (I'm Brazilian and I'm not fluent in English). Thanks to everyone who read this crazy idea
