With powerful jumps into the air, being able to climb seemingly any surface with their claws and superior ambush capabilities this bug would make a great addition to any survivors arsenal. Taming: To tame this bug one must prove themselves to be the better hunter. This display of dominance will gain this creature's servitude. Abilities: Climbing: This creature has 2 sets of arms, the front are equipped with a longer claw used to stab into surfaces in order to climb quickly up surfaces. The back arms are smaller and cannot be normally seen from the front but these allow it to hold itself in place to get into a ready position to do any Ambush/Grapple attack. Ambush: It has chromatophores that allow it to change the color and texture of its skin allowing it to find a high up tree, mountain, Cliff, or even Caverns, to sit in wait for prey to come into range. It can also use its hook-like feet to latch onto a ceiling and lay in wait there. Grapple: Has the ability to grab and bite into smaller creatures. Aerial Grapple: The Vicalocust can launch itself onto a small/Medium flyer pulling it to the ground and pinning it. Or pulling a survivor off a large flyer. Lure/Mimic: Has the ability to mimic the calls of other creatures allowing it to cause them to walk into its ambush range. Wild Never have I seen a creature as good at moving around obstacles as the Nothosaurus. This creature seems to work exceptionally well underwater. It seems little fish flee from it, as though they don’t want to be gobbled up. Domesticated After asking around, I have found that almost no tribe on this ark is without a Nothosaurus. They seem to swim exceptionally well, as well as provide an easy method of moving around this ark. Hello everyone and welcome to my post, please enjoy and keep in mind these abilities are not confirmed if it wins. Primary attack: a bite Secondary attack: swap between climbing and not climbing, like rock drake 3rd move: a decorative roar Passive abilities: Climbing like a Megalania, a water buff like the Spino, and a new aquatic dive. more depth: Basically I do not want this creature to be overpowered, so I gave it primarily traversal skills, as well as weak stats comparable to a Kaprosuchus and a Megalania. Like the Megalania I want to give it the ability to climb over obstacles and up cliffs and overhangs. I also wanted to emphasize the water aspect so I gave it a water buff. Now for the new move: an underwater dive. I decided that if griffons and snow owl can do an air dive, why isn’t there a water version of that? This is essentially a griffon dive underwater. Sorry about no artwork.
The arbanitis is a giant trapdoor spider Local to the desert area, such as scorched earth, this giant spider lives in small burrows that survivors try to take over to build small bases to hide from the weather. They posses a stunning bite which they use most by striking from under ground after burrying themselves. They also posses the ability to jump large distances and have limited glide ability and take no fall damage. They can also climb on walls and ceilings. When tamed these spiders make an excellent travel companion with there ability to glide and make taming easier with there torpor inducing bite. You would find these buried in the sand in small pocket burrows that your p/c could build a small shelter out of the weather in.
