The Titanoboa is an extinct snake of the boida family that inhabited South America 60 to 58 million years ago, during the Paleocene1234. It is the largest known snake in history, with a body that reached up to 15 meters in length and 1.2 tons in weight35. The Titanoboa cerrejonensis, as it is scientifically known, lived in lakes and behaved like an anaconda, moving easily both in the flow of rivers and in swamps3. He ate everything, including crocodiles and anacondas2. Titanoboa fossils were first discovered in the coal mines of La Guajira, Colombia, in 2009.

Smok - Was a type of large predatory archosaur living in the late Triassic in modern Europe. Its fossils come from sediments in the brickyard in Lisowice near Lubliniec, dated to the turn of the Norian and Rhaetian (205-200 million years). Measuring 5-6 m in length, of which nearly 50-60 cm was the skull, it was one of the largest Triassic archosaurs. "Smok" shows some features in theropods, rauisuchians and more primitive archosaurs. Omnivore Wild Smok will spawn near rivers and more infected aberration biome, where he will hide between rocks or in water .Using his glowing scales he will be able to charm other animals or players to come to his location slowly. You can escape the charm of smok by Eating an Aquatic Mushroom or Auric Mushroom depending if it would be found as Water type or Abberated Type. Taming To Tame This Gentleman You have to bring creatures to him, he will then devour them. The Bigger the animal or the bigger the level of the animal the more percentege in taming it will have. You also have to bring diffrent kinds of mushrooms because Smok will charm you too if you are not carefull with him, also between animals Smok might consider wanting a random type of mushroom because he is a picky eater. Tamed Water Type - He Gets Unlimited Oxygen underwater plus gets Boost to Damage and Speed near Water . His attacks also Give Bleed effect just like Allo.(More like an Archosaur) Abbilitys: His First abbility: Jaw Breaker- His Jaws Open Wide and Do A LOT OF DAMAGE and does bonus damage to all structures and animals underwater. Second Abbility: Super Tail- His Tail Starts To vibrate which cause All Nearby Agressive Creatures to Turn peacefull for 15 Sec. The Cool down for abbility is 30sec. Third Abbility -Roar! Abberated Type- With Being On Radiation comes Props of course . This type of Smok Is Getting Buffed on Radiated Biome and Surface in Strength and Protecion But Also Gets and Abbility to Climb Walls and Diffrent Surfaces with extreme speed. His Bite unlike His Water Brothers is Poisonous which helps with stronger creature cause it avoid any type of armor For Example Reapers.(As a More Theropod Like Dino) Abbilitys: His First abbility: Jaw Breaker- His Jaws Open Wide and Do A LOT OF DAMAGE and does bonus damage to all animals with More Strength . Second Abbility: Wall Run- His Claws Starts To stick to all surfaces which help him get around "Abberation". Third Abbility -Roar! Because The Debate About it Being more Like Archosaur or Theropod one type should be more theropod and the other one more like Archosaur. For The Sadlle i Thought Maybe Like a Green House With But With Metal as Like a Magmasaur or Andrewsarchus but smaller.

Gigantoscorpio Willsi - The Adventurers Worst Nightmare
ViviDxOne posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Dossier: Gigantoscorpio Willsi Time: Visean age of the Carboniferous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild "Gigantoscorpio Willsi is a very intelligent and patient hunter. It buries itself under the surface sticking its tail above lying in wait for an unfortunate victim large enough to sense. That unfortunate soul will be pierced by its tail and injected with a very deadly venom that causes complete paralysis, even the biggest and meanest hunters succumb to the toxin." Domesticated "Taming Gigantoscorpio Willsi is a very delicate and careful process, I mentioned previously that it lies in wait for something large enough to sense. I myself have stood above this beast and it didn't attack. Seen as how large they are, they must take a large amount of food to stay sustained. I managed to lure a Diplodocus over to it and before I could get out of the way it attacked, nearly hitting me! Not long after, the Diplodocus collapsed, but Gigantoscorpio Willsi didn't reveal itself straight away. I noticed its head pop up briefly, it must have been looking for predators. It later dug itself out and began feasting upon the paralyzed Diplodocus. I've only seen a handful of these domesticated but from what I've heard, their toxin can be extracted and synthesized into a more potent narcotic that can be used to make darts, some tribes have even gone so far as to use the creature to tranquilize others. Asides from its powerful sedative, its just as stealthy when domesticated as it is wild being able to bury its rider with it. Its outer shell seems to cause it to have a resistance to gunfire and has even been known to defend its rider with its large pincers. Being so large, its tail has alot of range and can be used to pluck gliders out of the sky!" Gameplay: Wild Gigantoscorpio Willsi is a large creature (around the size of a Diplo/Rex) but is extremely shy, it will not come out of its buried form unless there is a paralyzed creature nearby. Before it emerges, it will check to see if any predators or humans are nearby (players can wear Ghillie). Whilst in its buried form, it has its tail revealed in a mound so you can see it slightly. Gigantoscorpio Willsi will only ever attack creatures larger than an Allosaurus like this. Taming Taming Gigantoscorpio Willsi is complicated, players must first lure it out by getting a creature paralyzed in the area either by wild or tamed creatures. Anything smaller than an Allosaurus wont suffice, including babies. Once it has paralyzed something and shows its head, there must be no carnivorous or humans (not wearing ghillie) in the area, otherwise it won't emerge to feed. The creature that has been paralyzed must have bio toxin on it, this causes Gigantoscorpio Willsi to begin losing torpidity. Depending on the level/taming multiplier, it may require more than one creature with bio toxin. After it has passed out from the bio toxin, players can feed it any form of meat. It particularly likes spoiled meat, Kibble is also extremely good! Domesticated After it has finally been tamed, a saddle can be equipped and it can be ridden! The saddle has the player situated on its head, Gigantoscorpio Willsi has some very interesting uses: It has passive resistance to gunfire, including turrets. Holding C/RAS can protect its rider by blocking line of sight from the front with its massive pincers. Left Click/RT is its basic attack, Left click/RT can be held up for a charge attack that causes both broken bones and bleed! Right Click/LT is its tails attack, this can be used to great lengths with knocking other creatures out (increasing melee damage also increases the torpidity damage). Holding Right Click/LT allows it to thrust its tail in the sky piercing flyers/gliders and dragging them down. Pressing CTRL/RB will cause it to bury allowing you to still use its tail. Pressing C/RAS whilst buried will pop its head up. Holding C/RAS cannot protect the rider. Weapons can be equipped while ridden. It is immune to the Paralysis Toxin it produces. Breeding Breeding Gigantoscorpio Willsi is also tricky and delicate, both the male and female must be buried to begin mating. When the egg is laid, it is stuck where the female was until it hatches. Stats Gigantoscorpio Willsi is slow when it comes to movement but is quick with its attacks, it deals significant damage with its left click attack but deals piercing (goes through armor) damage with its tail, albeit weaker than the left click. It is somewhat tanky and can be used as a turret sponge because of the resistance to gunfire. -
Zanabazar: The Trapper and Defender Companion

Brief Gameplay Description: The Zana is a dino that can help you tame other dinos. It looks similar to a Deinonychus but isn't rideable. It can be utilized as a combat and taming companion to: Pin small and medium dinos, including low to the ground flyers with the Zanas impressive jump, similar to a bolo or bear trap, or, with a pack of Zanas, to even Pin large dinos: Retrieve small dinos and place them where you want them or kill them while the Zana holds them, which is perfect for snatching the Pegomastax that just robbed you: Distract dinos by drawing their aggro. With a large damage mitigation while using this ability, the Zana can draw the attention of larger dinos so you can knock them out or keep them away from things you want to keep safe. There is a pack bonus for this ability that even further decreases damage taken while Distracting. and Care for current unconscious dinos that you're trying to tame by defending them or drawing the attention of predators: The Zana can be equipped with a small Utility Pouch that can hold food to feed unconscious dinos at certain intervals or narcoberries to keep them unconscious. Equipping narcoberries also makes the Zana's claw attacks deal torpor damage. You tame it by getting one's attention and trapping other dinos. As it watches you, it learns and will attempt to trap dinos on its own and you give it treats throughout the process. Once it has learned how to trap, it is your companion. Brief Real Life Description: Zanabazar (scientifically named "Zanabazar Jr."), or as I'll be referring to it from this point forward, Zana, is thought to be a derived member of the troodontid family from the Late Cretaceous of Mongolia, roaming the Gobi Desert along with the likes of the Velociraptor, Ankylosaurus, and Oviraptor. Zana, like many other troodontids had a large brain for its size in comparison to other dinos, and with it being the 2nd largest of the troodontid family, it may have been one of the smartest of them all! It stood about 4 feet (1.2 meters) at the shoulder and was about 7 feet (2.1 meters) long from head to tail. Not much else is known about Zana though, as few fossils have been found. To read about it, here is the Wikipedia entry for the Zana. This contains just about all of the information that other websites do, so I feel that one article is probably enough. Wikipedia: Zanabazar_junior If you'd like to read about Zana in more detail, I've expanded on the gameplay mechanics below. Showcase Abilities: Zana's abilities would be able to employ and show off the new pathfinding capabilities of the creatures of Ark in the new update, both in its tamed form, such as Retrieving and Distracting targets, as well as the new, unique taming method! Special Abilities: As the title might suggest, Zana would be a useful companion for training. Similar to how some herding dogs are now, such as the notoriously intelligent border collie, Zana would aid its master in the taming process by trapping potential prey. Zana can be sent to Pin a dino that is small or medium. This will immobilize the target dino similar to how a bola or bear trap would. Low flying birds may even be options as Zana has quite the jump! Potential dinos Zana could Pin may include, Parasaur, Raptor, Triceratops, Direbear, Pteranodon, and perhaps even Thylacoleo. Zana could also be able to pin players that are on foot or even knock them off of a land dino! Zana can also be sent to Retrieve. This may include only small dinos such as Otters, Jerboa, Pegomastax, and even low-flying Ichthyornis! When set to do so, Zana will chase after the targeted dino, and pick it up to be returned to the player. Zana will hold the dino for its master until told to Release it. This would allow players to collect stolen items from a Pegomastax or just aid in moving smaller dinos into a taming pen. Another ability Zana might have is the ability to Care for other dinos. When given the proper food, Zana can be sent to deliver that food to unconscious creatures and even Protect them from potential threats by killing, Pinning, or Distracting potential threats. Lastly, Zana can be sent to Distract certain dinos. This can be done to larger dinos that a player would like to target for tranquilization. Zana will draw the aggression of the target and use evasive maneuvers to avoid attack while keeping the dino in the same place and not attacking its master. One potential idea is that putting Narcoberries in the Zana's inventory will cause its attacks to deal very minor torpor damage. This might be negligible to larger dinos but could be mildly useful on smaller prey. The real point of this ability is not necessarily to be a torpor dealing machine, but rather serve as a kind of "trap" for the target dino. It could also be effective if you want aggressive dinos to be deterred from attacking other tames you are working on in the area. Interestingly, having multiple Zanas could maybe increase its potential for certain abilities. Though, one Zana certainly couldn't Pin a Carnotaurus, maybe 2 or 3 Zanas could. And maybe 5 or 6 of them could Pin a Rex! Don't worry if you don't quite have enough Zanas to take on a certain dino though, as working as a group can increase their effectiveness at avoiding damage while Distracting. Unfortunately, I'm not sure they're quite coordinated enough to team-lift big dinos, so the Retrieve ability is probably not affected by pack numbers haha! Taming: Zana has a unique taming method that mimics the art of training. As a highly intelligent creature, Zana enjoys to learn. So to tame one, place raw prime meat or kibble in your last quick slot. This will prevent Zana from Aggro-ing to you. Once you have the attention of a Zana, it will keep its distance but watch you. Now you must train it to trap dinos! Use bolos, bear traps, or other officially created trap items on other dinos. After a few examples, the Zana will approach you and you'll feed the Zana a piece of raw prime meat or kibble. After being fed it will run back and create distance again but continue watching you. Keep using traps until Zana approaches to be fed again. Repeat this process. Once taming is almost complete, the final time that Zana approaches you to be fed, it will eat and then run away (to the nearest Pin-able dino). Follow it and you'll find that it is trying to show you what it has learned. Watch Zana Pin another dino and feed it once more. This will complete the taming process! Appearance: The in game appearance of Zana would likely be similar in size and shape to Deinonychus. It would be a bit more slender and would have less pronounced feathering, though the colors could still be just as beautiful and vibrant as those of the Deinonychus. It would not have a saddle but it could have a small inventory pouch that can hold food or narcoberries for the aforementioned torpor attack. With it's small size, Zana may not be a rideable mount at all, but would be far more useful when used as a companion and teammate anyway. Conclusion: Adding a creature that can intelligently assist with the taming process could add a unique and interesting aspect to gameplay. From the unique taming method, that pays homage to the creatures high intellect, to the assistive abilities that showcase the improved gameplay mechanics and the Zana's troodontid lineage, I believe Zanabazar would be the perfect dino to add to the sands of Scorched Earth! -
The burrowing rattlesnake is one of the smaller snakes in the desert but don't let that fool you. It is to supposed to be an early game base protector that provides biotoxin. Species: Crotalus Sp. Time: Miocene Diet: carnivore Temperament: defencive Wild The burrowing rattlesnake is one smallest but deadliest predetors i have encountered on my journey through the desert. Although it prefers to eat smaller desert creatures it is not scared to go after humans if they ignore it's warnings. Just like all other rattlesnake species they have a rattle to scare of potential predators. Unlike other rattlesnake species, these snakes can burrow. They do this to ambush their prey and hide from desert storms, a very usefull technique in this harsh environment. Speaking of prey, they love to eat jerboa which they catch by pouncing at them from their burrow and quickly taking them down with their deadly venom. Taming Taming these snakes isnt easy. their abillity to borrow makes them hard to spot and their abillity to pounce at enemies makes it a dangerous job. Because of their venom this snakes are almost immune to any other venom or poison rendering most tranquillizers ineffective. Luckily for the tamers they are very weak to a good whack on the head making a boomerang or a club a usefull tool for taming. Domesticated Although not easy to get your hands on once tamed these snakes can be used in varius ways. Their abillity to borrow and pounce can be used to make traps around your base. their defencive temperament combined with their rattle allows them to be used as warning system against intruders. but all of these uses are nothing compared to their real strength, their venom. The venom has the same effects on larger creatures as biotoxin, a resource that i havent found elsewhere in the desert. Although the snakes dont seem to like it, they can be milked for their venom which can then be made into tranquillizers. stats and uses and other thing i wanted to say The burrowing rattlesnake is a small creature that can be tamed from the start of the game. Tamed snakes can be borrowed around your base and set to use different abillities. Their rattle can be used as a tripwire alarm or they can be used as traps where they jump at an enemy, biting them and potentially knocking them out. Yes, this is just a normal knockout tame as passive taming a early game creature like a snake doesnt feel right. Unlike most small early game creatures these snakes have a use lategame as they provide biotoxin, something that isnt available on scorched earth and that makes them usefull for high level players as shocking tranq darts are very usefull for endgame tames. The snakes are supposed to be fairly weak creatures with low health and low torpor so they can be killed quite easilly by throwing spears or shooting them with arrows. Because they are immune to tranq arrows and tranq darts their torpor cant be too high as clubs and boomerangs deal very low amounts of torpor damage. The idea with them is that their melee damage is very low but their torpor damage very high just like Eurypterid. Rattlesnakes are a creature that would fit very well in the scorched earth desert. Because all snakes in ark are very big it would be cool to have a small snake species in the game. I wasn't able to find the name of a extinct rattlesnake species and i am horrible at naming so the scientific name needs to be changed.
