  1. This creature has adapted to its surroundings perfectly, it has a natural camouflage so it is unseen by most other sea creatures, except for Tuso and Anglerfish, which can spot it swimming through the depths. It has an almost symbiotic relationship with the Anglerfish, meaning Anglerfish are partially aggressive to the Coralotel as it's after the Anglerfish's Angler Gel, which is a sort of catnip to the creature. On it's back lay a few rows of bright sea coral which help the Coralotel blend it even better to it's surroundings. Also along it's back are brightly coloured stripes which light up when fed Angler Gel. This puts it in glow mode, increasing it's HP, attack and stamina temporarily. When glow mode is activated, all creatures can see the (AXO) Coralotel. The gills of the (AXO) Coralotel produce oxygen so when saddled, act as a oxygen tank. To tame this creature, it needs to be lead far into land, as oxygen reaises it's torpor. Once knocked out it's fed Biotoxin as its kibble. The (AXO) Coralotel can be bred but cannot mature in captivity so stay small .however its young act as a shoulder pet whose special ability is to produce oxygen for it's wearer. The young can glow when feed Angler Gel which can be used as a light. Axolotls are known as the amphibian that never grows up Axolotls are friendly faced salamanders that stay in their 'tadpole' form forever
  2. 🦁Feral Sovereign: Presenting the Panthera Spelaea🦁 ⛰️The Panthera Spelaea is an extinct species of carnivorous mammal belonging to the family Felidae, which lived in what is now Spain and the British Isles in the west up to Alaska⛰️ 🙀."Witness the Feral Sovereign, the Panthera Spelaea. With its Roar of Dominion, it commands the battlefield, weakening foes' resolve. The Bite of Energy Drain saps their vitality, a true conqueror's strike. As the Cave Shadow, it prowls the depths with unmatched prowess. Clad in its Guardian Pelt, it defies the elements, a protector in every sense. A true Hunter of Horizons, its vision spans day and night, tracking all with precision. Bow before the Feral Sovereign, the embodiment of primal supremacy."🙀 👉READ THIS BEFORE YOU START👈 It gives us a lot to present this project in which we have been working to try to give the best proposal. First of all, I would like to clarify that the reason why we chose a big cat is because we see that Ark only exists today, the saber-toothed cat, the Shadowmane is a fictional animal, and the Thylacoleo is a marsupial, so we treat to obtain the best attributes of the Panthera Spelaea to have a strong suggestion and a chance to expand the niche it would work in. Being more a type of predator that can attack its prey in a fast and forceful way, rather than opting for a long and repetitive fight in the aspect that it is not a battle for "mashing the buttons" 👀Size👀 respecting the large size it had in ancient times, we take into account that Panthera Spelaea is larger than a thylacoleo but smaller than a shadowmane, being a midpoint 💥Wild💥 Panthera Spelaea is a ferocious animal found in the northern part of the icy mountains, being more specific in the rocky areas where their dens are located where they rest. For the most part, being in herds made up of females and males, due to their thick fur, they are able to withstand the low temperatures that few are willing to endure. It is possible to see that the temperament of the Panthera Spelaea changes depending on the gender it has, with the females being the most aggressive, hunting small creatures in groups and the males having a temperamental attitude, being close to their den tending the young of the herd. During the night is when the Panthera Spelaea becomes more dangerous since in this case the whole herd together with the alpha male hunting large prey due to the leadership of the Alpha which seems to make the females more lethal than during the day. 💥Domesticated💥 The survivors of the ark have realized that it is impossible to subdue an adult Panthera Spelaea and teach it commands, it simply ignores anyone other than its alpha male and when the alpha is captured they go into a state of crisis and disperse. separating the herd and killing their young by starvation. Seeing that the only viable way to try to have this mount is to wait until nightfall so that the herd leaves its lair and thus can take its young. Panthera Spelaea young, due to their young age, it is easier to teach them correct training until they reach adulthood, resulting in a powerful, strong, agile and fast hunting animal that by itself shines a lot but when in a pack it becomes becomes one of the deadliest animals in these lands. 💪SKILLS💪 1. Mighty Roar: 🙀it is a powerful roar that allows him to remove the states in which he can be found by his enemies (poison, bleed, stun, etc). This ability must be used carefully as it takes a long time to activate again.🙀 2. Overpowering Bite: 🏃‍♂️Due to its powerful fangs, every time the Panthera Spelaea charges its bite and bites an animal or a person, the victim will suffer a drain that will cause them to lose energy.🏃‍♂️ 3. Cave Predator: ⛰️The Panthera spelaca has developed exceptional agility and strength in confined spaces, such as the caves on the map. She can move easily and quickly in tight terrain, making her a formidable threat in those environments.⛰️ ⛰️In addition, his visual acuity allows him to track prey and enemies in environments underground, following clues and tracks to locate their prey with ease.⛰️ 4.Lethal Dart: 💥The Panthera spelaea attacks with a fast and precise movement, dealing lethal damage. Activates tactical retreat which makes you 20% faster to escape before enemies can counterattack, leaving only a fleeting flash💥 💥if faced with a large animal, Panthera Spelaea will be able to jump and cling to its body causing this powerful bite💥 5.Nocturnal Guardian Fur: 🥶 Its fur is thick and with color variations. Making it harder to spot at night, while providing warmth for your rider and nearby companions..🥶 6.A good companion: 🦴 Keep your Panthera happy with food and petting, and it will purr, giving you and nearby animals a small experience buff.🦴 🦴It would work almost the same as that of the lystrosaurus🦴. 7.Improved vision: 👀Its excellent vision allows it to easily identify other predators compared to the human eye, during the day being able to detect carnivorous animals and improving its vision considerably during the night detecting both carnivores and herbivores, having a very broad perception of the animals around it.👀 Taming 🐈‍⬛To have a Panthera at your disposal without being attacked you have to look for a herd made up of males and females: the male specimens will be closer to the cubs taking care of them and having a temperamental attitude while the females will be around them being aggressive. You must be skillful enough to capture one of the cubs from the pack in your arms and escape from the parents as quickly as possible before they realize your presence, if they do so the cub may get scared and lose taming efficiency once in your hands raise it and bond by teaching it to hunt, keeping it clean, healthy and well fed, keep a close eye on them, they are known for short attention spans and arrogance..🐈‍⬛ 👉Basic statistics👈 Health: 850 Stamina: 450 Oxygen: 250 Food: 1750 Weight: 500 Melee damage: 100% Movement speed: 100% Torpor: 850 👾First mammal with Tek Mount👾 🤖Considering that this big cat is a killing machine, we suppose that after ascension you will be able to equip it with a tek mount capable of projecting a holographic shield to protect its front part. Adding also a pair of thrusters that allow him to make his jumps wider and maintain his top speed for much longer.🤖 Agradecimientos a AngelGamez,Neto,Boryini y Cetcat por ayudarme con las imagenes 😃 (En breve actualizaremos las imagenes, las de ahora de momento son bocetos todavia)
  3. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- INTRODUCING----ANOMALOCARIS Anomalocaris are native to the waters of The Center, and can be found amongst shallow areas, as they are constantly on the prowl for trilobites. These 'odd shrimp' are semi-aggressive but inquisitive , as they often swim up to survivors out of curiosity. -------------------------------------------- LVL 1 STATS: HEALTH:300 STAMINA:250 WEIGHT:200 DAMAGE:25 TORPOR:575 -------------------------------------- -Anomalocaris also serve as an aquatic healer! When fed silica pearls they can heal themselves, but when fed black pearls, can also heal nearby allies similar to the land dwelling Daeodon. -Anomalocaris can also manuever in any direction similar to the Tapejara. -To tame, simply swim up and feed black pearls aka a passive tame. ---------------------------------------------- ARK NEEDS MORE SEA LIFE!!! dossier by: santaclaus470
  4. Common Name: Hatzegopteryx Species: Hatzegopteryx Thambema Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperment: Skittish WILD These Wild Hatzegopterx latch themselves onto the floating islands of The Center using their sharp claws to pierce even the toughest rocks. Survivors have said upon approaching it in the wild it lets out a loud disorienting screech and flees leaving survivors dazed. DOMESTICATED Finding these large Pterosaurs is challenging, but keep your eyes peeled when traveling the floating islands of The Center, as the Hatze have a brightly coloured mantle making them stand out in the shadows. Hold on tight! As taming this giant of the sky requires you to Grapple to its back all while force feeding the Hatze its prefered feed. Once tamed the Hatze makes a great all round flying mount for aerial combat using its huge claws to latch onto the largest of dinosaurs, leaving them bleeding. The Hatze can carry smaller dinos in its giant beak while carrying larger dinos in its claws, its size can be decieving being one of the fastest birds in its class, being able to dive at great hights due to its large wing span. The Hatzegopteryx has multiple saddles including a Mounted turret saddle which was mastered by survivors who dedicated their studies to this great flyer. Hatzegopteryx inhabites The Center and is the apex predator of the sky, tackling larger prey in flocks and using its loud screech to deter others.
Obrigado🇧🇷❤❤
  6. Hello! First of all, I am a Japan person. I think it's very difficult to read, but I would be very happy if you could read it to the end. The new creature of The center that I propose is "loong", which is an oriental dragon that of course does not exist. However, I learned the rule that only real creatures should be proposed, after thinking about the ecology of this creature, and I really want someone to see it, so I post it.I know I can't win this election, but the developers and everyone are thinking, "If it's such an interesting creature, maybe we can implement it!" It is such a wonderful creature that you can think of, so please read it to the end. And I would be happy if you could vote in a hurry. ecology SIZE:Thinner than a wyvern, but longer (you can usually curl up like a snake and wait) WILD:It lives on The Center's Skull Island (Onigashima) and flies in the sky. At night, it rarely comes down to the ground. Neutral and does not attack from him. Rare Spawn ABILITY:From four legs generate a small but powerful tornado, on which it flies through the sky. The speed is about the same as a wyvern. He has natural armor because the wind constantly comes from all over his body. Your defense increases every time you level up after joining a team. CRAFT:After he joins, he can make various types of sake from his inventory by wearing his own barrel equipment. Each of them has its own effect action MAIN ATTACK:The main attack of the left click is a bite and an attack power about the size of a Tyrannosaurus SUB-ATTACK:Right-click sub-attacks can breathe wind breath, constantly showering enemies with slash-like whirlwinds. SPECIAL ATTACK:It spins its body like a tornado towards the ground like a Griffin's glide from above, releasing a large amount of wind when it lands, causing a huge explosion. underwater It has no oxygen value and can be active even in water. MAIN ATTACK:bite similar to that on the ground, SUB-ATTACK:It is a Bariox-like spin attack that spawns swirl and damage like the Genesis that sucks in enemies. SPECIAL ATTACK:The wind from the four legs used to fly is used underwater like a jet of Managarum, and it swims at a tremendous speed. taming STEP1:If a survivor drinks beer at night and hands Loong a beer or a drink made with Narcoberry and Stimbury, Loong will carry it to a field like a boss fight. STEP2:When you reach the field, you will be robbed of items other than armor and beer, and you will be given a Japan sword. If you can use them to reduce Loong's health to 10%, you will return to where you were and the sleeping Loong will become your friend. TIPS1:When transported to the field, the better the quality of the items taken Japan the higher the quality of the sword. TIPS2:During battle, frequently hand over alcohol to Loong to increase the tame bonus. alcohol 龍樽(Dragon Barrel):It is equipment that loong can wear. If you wear it, you will be able to make sake and store water in it. In order to make sake, it is necessary to store a certain amount of water. In appearance, equip the body with 6 barrels 龍酒(ryuzake):This liquor can be made with a certain amount of water and 300 different varieties of berries of all kinds. Organisms that hand over this have a 30% increase in coma value. 紅酒(benizake):Made with water and 200 tintoberries, this liquor increases the attack power of the creature you drink by 1.25% for 2 minutes. 金酒(konzake):Made with water and 200 Amalberries, this liquor increases the defenses of the creature it drinks by 1.25% for 2 minutes. 碧酒(hekizake):Made with water and 200 Azure berries, this liquor increases the movement speed of the creature by 1.25% for 2 minutes. 藤酒(hujizake):Made with water and 200 mejoberries, this liquor is Loong's baby food. 白黒酒(hakkokuzake):Made with water, 200 narco berries and stimberries, this liquor is Loong's favorite liquor. Perfect for loong taming and as a regular food. Thank you for reading to the end!!!
  7. Palaeophis Colossaeus - Constricting Sea-Snake and Torpedo Terror Hey guys, thanks for clicking on this submission. I hope you like what you see. First off, a quick introduction to explain what inspired this idea. I love the sea, and i've lived beside it for most of my life here in the UK. Once as a kid I was bitten on the lip by a family friend's pet snake when they showed it to me while we visited them in their home (I was fine, just stung a bit), ever since then i've had a slight fear and huge respect for snakes. When the Tropeognathus released, it became my favourite dino, and I really love the weaponised, non-TEK saddle that it has. I've combined all of these elements and created the following: I introduce to you - The Constricting Sea-Snake, the Torpedo Terror, Palaeophis Colossaeus. (See Pictures and Diagrams Below) Palaeophis Colossaeus existed 50 millions years ago in an ocean that today has become the deserts of Nigeria, Mali and Algeria - The Trans-Saharan Seaway. It's fossil was discovered in 1999. It is unknown whether it envenomated it's prey or constricted them, as scientists never found the fossilised remains of skull bones. Due to it's size, it would have eaten large sharks, fish, crocodiles, turtles, and, it is rumoured to have even eaten whales. It's size, paired with it's carnivorous diet would have made them an apex predator in the waters of the Trans-Saharan Seaway. Palaeophis means "Ancient Snake". https://blog.padi.com/sea-snake-facts/ https://a-z-animals.com/blog/meet-the-massive-sea-snake-that-feasted-on-whales-seriously/ https://a-z-animals.com/blog/the-largest-sea-snake-ever-discover-an-ancient-40-foot-long-giant/ ---DOSSIER--- - COMMON NAME: Palaeophis - SPECIES: Palaeophis Colossaeus - TIME: Eocene Epoch (I think i've got that right, apologies if not) - DIET: Carnivore - TEMPERAMENT: Aggressive ---WILD--- If you thought that the ocean was already terrifying enough, then you haven't seen anything yet. Palaeophis are slightly smaller than Basilisks, measuring at 40ft in length. They prefer to hunt in the shallow waters of the ocean and it is common to see them there, but they do also hunt at greater depths in search of prey too. They use their vertically flat tail to propel them through the water with ease, but due to the shape of this appendage, it does mean they move slightly clumsier on land. They grasp smaller prey using their sharp fangs and strong jaw and swallow them whole. Palaeophis hunts larger prey by lunging at them and coiling themselves around them until they are completely immobilised, and then it begins constricting them. Despite being a sea snake, they cannot stay underwater indefinitely and must eventually return to the surface to breathe, however, they can hold their breath for an incredibly long time, and this is because they they can absorb 33% of they oxygen they need through their skin, and get rid of 90% of their carbon dioxide in the same manner. Remarkable, don't you think? You wouldn't want to encounter one of them alone let me tell you. ---DOMESTICATED--- Believe it or not, but I once met a fellow survivor who had somehow managed to tame a Palaeophis and use it to chase after some pesky raiders who had stolen supplies from his camp and tried to escape on a motorboat. At first I thought he was going to swim after them, but then he mounted a Palaeophis that was equipped with a saddle that could fire torpedos and began his pursuit. Needless to say, they made short work of the raiders. When he returned, I asked how he made the saddle and he showed me the blueprints for it, along with the blueprints for the torpedos too. The saddle he designed fires highly explosive torpedos that use propulsion to travel at great speeds underwater and explode on impact, they travel so fast infact that enemy defence systems struggle to shoot them in time and they are still hit by the blast radius and are damaged in the process. Needless to say, these torpedos are likely to inflict heavy damage on creatures if they are hit directly. It does take a few seconds to reload the torpedos though. The Fin Stabilisers on the saddle help with hydrodynamics. Oh, and did I mention that the torpedos could be fired on land too? They don't have nearly as much range as they do underwater and they sort of just launch across the air. Think of the possibilities. He told me that Palaeophis are formidable in the water and most marine life will steer clear of them. In one on one situations, in water or on land, if they manage to coil themselves around their prey and begin constricting, it is game over for the prey, and if by chance they are unsuccessful the first time, they can resort to their powerful jaw and sharp fangs which also packs a punch. Their natural bony plates also mitigate damage they receive in combat, which makes them perfect in combat situations. It turns out he also coated the Palaeophis' fangs with Bio Toxin to help it when hunting and when in combat situations, he preferred to apply it to it on dry land though. ---TAMING--- (I thought of numerous ways that the Palaeophis could be tamed. I liked all my ideas, but I could only pick one in the end. After narrowing the list down, I decided it'd be best to stick to it's nature and create a taming method that revolves around that. I hope you like it.) The Palaeophis is a passive tame. To tame it, you must allow it to constrict you whilst you ride a marine tame underwater. Once it constricts you, you cannot dismount your tame. Upon reducing the constricted tame's HP to zero, the Palaeophis will automatically consume it, increasing the taming bar percentage. It will then swim to the surface for air before it returns to hunt you, then, you must repeat the process until taming is complete. It'd be wise to have more tames ready, and to bring a scuba set at the very least. You don't need to worry about other nearby marine life aggroing onto you whilst be constricted (apart from Cnidaria, Mosasaurs and Tusoteuthis), but you will have to worry about all marine life during periods when you are not being constricted. It's preferred taming food in order from LEAST EFFECTIVE to MOST EFFECTIVE is: Carbonemys, Sarco, Dunkleosteus, Megalodon, Basilosaurus. ---BREEDING--- A unique method for a reptile in Ark. The Palaeophis is ovoviviparous, meaning females give live birth from eggs stored in the snake's body. To breed Palaeophis, they must both be present in shallow waters. Upon giving birth, players simply swim up to babies and claim them. Palaeophis will have a gestation timer. They must give birth in the water. ---ABILITIES--- - PASSIVE: --- BONY PLATES: It's natural armour reduces melee and ballistic damage received. TEK weapons are unaffected by this. --- TONGUE FLICK: When enemy players and player-owned creatures are nearby (includes buried and stealthed), the Palaeophis will flick it's tongue to alert the player. The closer they are, the more frequent the tongue will flick. Keep an eye out! --- SEA NOODLE: Due to it's speed and agility, it cannot be netted or grappled while it is underwater and cannot be grabbed at all by a Tusoteuthis. The Palaeophis can be netted and grappled on land. - BITE: Can be used on land and in water. Attack by pressing RT. Using it's sharp teeth and strong jaw it bites it's target. Bites can drain the target's stamina and increase the target's torpor if you coat it's fangs with Bio Toxin. By placing Bio Toxin in the Palaeophis' inventory and consuming it, you provide it with a buff. The duration of this buff can be increased by consuming more Bio Toxin, much like how consuming Aquatic Mushrooms provides you with longer protection the more you eat. - LUNGING GRASP: Can be used on land and in water. Lunge forward and grab smaller prey in it's jaw by pressing LT. Bite down on the grasped target with RT. Pressing and holding LT enables you to lunge forward and coil around larger targets and immobilise them. From here you can use the Constrict ability. You can let go by releasing LT. (Additional Notes for Lunging Grasp Ability) - The Palaeophis is the only creature in Ark that can bypass the passive ability of the Basilosaurus that protects it from being grappled. - This ability can be used against a Quetzal, even if it has been picked and the Quetzal is flying. - CONSTRICT: Begin constricting larger targets and deal increasingly heavy damage over time by pressing the Right Stick. The more stamina the Palaeophis has, the longer it can constrict. Gradually depletes stamina. Constricting a creature causes it's HP to deplete over time. The rate at which the HP depletes depends on the multiplier you get. Each time you constrict, you must wait for a cooldown timer to reach zero before you can constrict again. Constricting again increases the damage multiplier, thus increasing the damage over time. At the start, constricting deals x1 of the Palaeophis' melee damage over 10 seconds. You must wait 10 seconds before you can increase the damage multiplier. The damage multiplier increases by 1 to a maximum of 10. For example, a Palaeophis with 1,000% melee damage will deal 10,000 damage over 10 seconds at x10, and once at max, you can continuously deal the same damage provided you have enough stamina to sustain it. Take into consideration a creature's natural resistance and armour. It will take a total of 100 seconds to reach the maximum multiplier. This ability will also gradually deplete the oxygen meter for any creature that has one, and that can be subject to constriction. Once the constricted creature's oxygen is depleted, it starts taking the standard damage rate for having zero oxygen on top of constriction damage. While coiled around and constricting a larger creature owned by another player/tribe, friendly fire becomes enabled for the tribe who owns the constricted creature. This means that attacking a Palaeophis in an attempt to save your creature while it is being constricted by it will also damage your creature. This is where the Palaeophis' Passive Ability - Bony Plates really shines. If you are on the same side as the Palaeophis and attack the constricted creature, you will not deal friendly fire damage to it. Palaeophis cannot constrict eachother. (Additional Notes for the Constrict Ability) - Constricted creatures cannot move, attack or use any other abilities. - Riders of constricted creatures cannot dismount. - Dismounting your Palaephis while constriction is at any multiplier will not stop it's constriction, and it will continue to deal whatever damage over time at the current multiplier achieved until it's stamina runs out. - A constricted creature can be netted by any player, which causes constrction to end. The Palaeophis is unaffected by that net. - A constricted creature can't be picked or grabbed by another creature. - The largest creatures that can be constricted are Rexes, Paracers, Wyverns, Diplo, Quetzals and Mosas. Despite using the term "Larger Creatures" this also counts for any medium creatures big enough that they could realistically be constricted by the Palaeophis. - Creatures whose HP are reduced to zero by this ability are automatically consumed, along with their entire inventory. - TORPEDOS: Pressing RB activates Torpedo Firing Mode and brings up the crosshairs. Pressing RT fire the torpedos. (Additional Notes for Torpedo Ability) - The Torpedo Firing Mode is similar to that of the Rock Drake equipped with a TEK Saddle, where pressing RB enables the TEK guns, but prevents you from entering First Person. - Torpedos can be fired whilst the Palaeophis is on land, but they only launch through the air and fall to the ground. They are not propelled forward in a straight line like they are in the water. - Fire 2 Torpedos. Can only be reloaded after both Torpedos have been fired. It'd be best to stockpile ammo in the Palaeophis' inventory. - When entering Torpedo Firing Mode while in the water, the Palaeophis doesn't have a stance, and crosshairs appear. - When entering Torpedo Firing Mode while on land, the Palaeophis starts begins periscoping to give the Torpedos clearance from the ground. - Torpedos explode on impact. Or explode at the end of their travel distance. - When fired from land into water, Torpedos will travel across the surface of the water. See the diagram I made below which displays which ways Torpedos can and cannot be fired: - Green 'X' = Firing Position - Red Arrow Pointing at Red 'X' = Cannot be fired in that direction whilst in the current firing position. - Red Dash Line Arrow = Trajectory of Torpedo that can be fired in corresponding direction from current firing position. ---COMBAT--- The Palaeophis can fight on land, but it truly excels in the water. It's speed and agility in the water allows it to make quick turns and change it's direction fast. It can hold it's own in one on one combat. so long as you have the HP and Stamina to do so. The Constrict ability is it's primary method of attack and it is supposed to be scary, formidable and make players think twice before fighting against it. Victory is almost assured if you managed to lunge at your opponent and constrict them, unless your opponent brings friends, things might be a bit different then. Very useful in water-based combat. It's torpedos can make quick work of rafts and motorboats, and, they can be useful for raiding underwater bases. Torpedos move very fast underwater and auto and heavy turrets will struggle to shoot them in time and will take damage from the blast radius. Torpedos can also be devastating to enemy player's tames if they are subject to repeated fire. The Palaeophis is still a dangerous foe to fight on land, despite being slower. It can still lunge at you and attempt to constrict you. They must always be approached with extreme caution. ---PALAEOPHIS SADDLE--- The saddle is similar to the Tropeognathus Saddle, but more improved. The saddle has a damage % value that increases with blueprint rarity, and it also has an armour % value that increases with blueprint rarity. However, these blueprints are exceptionally rare and very hard to find. Upon equipping the saddle and accessing the Palaeophis' inventory you will be able to craft the Torpedo Ammo. This is similar to the catapult turret and crafting boulders. The player sits on the neck region of the Palaeophis, and on either side of the player are the torpedo launcher tubes that have stabiliser fins for added hydrodynamics. ---UTILITY--- - The Palaeophis is better than using a Mosasaur or Plesiosaur platform saddle with mounted turret placements because you can cryo it after using it without worrying about turret placement being demolished. This makes them ideal for underwater or water based raiding. - It's speed, agility on top of it's combat ability make it ideal for scouting and defending yourself if you run into trouble. - It's fangs when coated with Bio Toxin can be used to help with knocking out and taming creatures. - Can be used to immobilise creatures and aid with knocking out and taming creatures. - And potentially many more. Thankyou so much for taking the time to read this. Sorry it was an essay. I really hope you like what you see and the Palaeophis wins your hearts and your votes. Just want to give my friend Neesh a shoutout for drawing the Palaeophis and Saddle concept art for me using the instructions i provided. I really hope we see the Palaeophis enter the game! Only time will tell. (Edit: for some reason the Torpedo Firing Mode Diagram is too big to upload. I will try to fix this asap)
  8. Deincheirus is a dino with a very particular appearance that will roam the great lakes of the center. Deinocheirus is considered by the survivors to be contrary to the rex and spino, since unlike these two, it has neutral behavior and is even protective of herbivorous animals. Wild Although Deinocheirus is referred to as the opposite of the rex, ironically it becomes very aggressive if its personal space is invaded or if you attack one of the herbivores of its "herd" from a small dodo to an imposing bronto. Domesticated. Tamed deincheirus is a great battle mounr that can easily be placed between the rex and spinosaurus, with the difference that the latter prefers berries to te meat. Tamed Deinocheirus will assume the role of guardian of the herbivores of youe tribe. In addition to the fact that their droppings are a source of nutrients for vegetables, their favorite food Tame. Step 1: to tame deinocheirus you will need to get him away from his flock (you choose the way to get him away, but beware that if Deinocheirus gets tired of you, he will return to where his flock is, so its preferable to kills his entire flock to avoids problems). Step 2: After getting rid of his herd, Deinocheirus will go into rage and receive a 50% damage resistence buff. In those moments, you will have to lower his health to less than 70%. After that, Deincheirus will fall exhausted on the floor. Step 3: After Deinocheirus falls exhausted to the ground, you will mount and feed him to heal him and begin his true taming. Step 4: Deinocheirus should hunt an kill large carnovores such as; tyranosaurus, spinosaurus, allosaurus, yutyranus, mosasaur(not recommended). If you achieve the great feat of killing a giganotosaurus or a carcharadotosaurus, Deinocheirus will be instantly tamed. Skills. Cattle guar: If deincheirus is a accompanied by more than one herbivore, it will receive a 20% attack buff and companions a 50% damage reduction buff. Grab: Deinocheirus with key C can pick up small and medium animals. Sorry for the bad english is not my mother tongue.
  9. Protostega is a genuis off prehistoric sea turtles. Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protostega Name: Protostega: Group: Reptile Diet: Pesketariane: ( Cinidra Toxin, prme fishmeat) Temperament: Skittish. Dossier: Wild: Protostega is a quite large and extremly skittish but then again when your so far down the food chain I guess yor best chance is to flee not fight. Protostega spend most off there days feeding on cinidras and sea weed along the sea bed and they seem to only come on land during nesting season. it`s shell is pretty primitive and leathery and do not provide much protection but thats not that needed when you can outswim any predetor and when they first get hurt it seems like there diet off the cinida helps them quickly recover. Domesticated: As a domesticaded creature Protostega`s primary roles seem to be scouting and transporting good trhu the ocean and as a medic for other creatures. there high speed in water even when carring plenty of cargo makes them great for transporting goods over long distances quickly. And while it itself isn`t a fighter protostega helps out in battle bye emiting a chemical it produces to help it`s ally recover quickly. The chemicals protostega produces is has great properties that many tribes use in there cooking to give it a boost to there imunsystem and recovery. Abillites: 1 Bite: Left click preforms a simpel bite attack (not very strong) 2 Healing: Rightclick to preform a burst off healing ( hold down to increas range and power). When protostega kills cinadras it stores it`s toxin for later use. Using Protostega`s healing abillity uses up toxin, holding down right click gives better range and effect but consume more toxin. 3 Spin: Protostega spins around (vertical) and creates a shock wave that pushes enemies away while giving itself and it`s ally a speed boost. Saddle: The chemist`s saddle. Protostega`s saddle comes with a chemist bench and allows you to create the Proto-chemical, a chemical made from cinidra toxin that can be used in any dish to give it a healing boost. up to 3 survivers can ride on the saddle ( 1 driver +2 passengers) at the same time. the passengers can use tools/weapons while rideing. Taming: Wild Protostegas can`t be tamed. Along the beaces off the center you'll find varius mounds called protostega nests. Interacting with thees allowes you to start a minigame to grab yourself a turtle. A hatchling wil emerge from the sand and start slowly make it`s way to the ocean while wild iththyornis wild start gathering and swooping down trying to kill and eat the baby. to succseed the taming you need the fend off the birds until the hatcling reaches the ocean where it will rapidly mature and become tamed. the baby can be feed cinidra toxin to heal it but it won't get back the taming effectiveness. The further a mound is away from the ocean the higher level hatchling and longer it wil take for the hatcling to reach the ocean. Thank you for looking at my idea.
  10. COMMON NAME: BEIPIAOSAURUS SPECIES: BEIPIAOSAURUS INEXPECTUS TIME: LOWER CRETACEOUS DIET: HERBIVOROUS TEMPERAMENT: NEUTRAL WILD Generally Can be found in lakes or in the rivers of the center, the Beipiaosaurus at first glance may seem like an agressive and dangerous creature, but it will not attack you if you do not deal damage to it, it seems that some of the creatures in the ark like the Beipiaosaurus have adapted their size for better survival, making it a challenge for carnivorous dinosaurs to hunt it down, sometimes you can find the Beipiaosaurus diving the depths of the sea of The Center. This creature loves to gather piles of fish for sport, and it likes to take the sun after a large bath session, if you see it you can steal it, but if you do the Beipiaosaurus will atack you to protect its pile, in the piles you can find raw fish meat or prime fish meat, pearls and sometimes megalodon fangs. This creature can be found in groups of 3. TAMED The tamed Beipiaosaurus is a great creature with a kit of abilities that includes, the power of dive generating a layer of bubbles with its plumage allowing it and it’s rider to breathe under water. The second ability is a tail slam that does area damage, if the creature is close to it, it will do more damage, but if it is far away it will do less damage. The third ability is a typical bite that deals damage to any creature that is in front of it. The fourth and last ability is a spin that cuando underwater like the Pteranodon. SPECIAL ABILITY The Beipiaosaurus have a very special ability during electric storms, it has a 10% bonus in all its abilities, and it also goes faster through the water, and a very nice detail, it’s eyes can bright in the darkness. TAME METHOD Tame a Beipiaosaurus is not an easy task, for tame your own Beipiaosaurus you will need to slowly get closer to it, onse you have the Beipiaosaurus in front of you, you will need to caress it, he will immediately put passive, then you have to go killing fish, megalodon and piranhas to tame it, if the Beipiaosaurus gets attacked, the effectiveness will descend in a 1 percent, once you have killed all the Beipiaosaurus wants you can ride it for 5 minutes, in this five minutes you will need to take care of him, you can feed it, caress it, go walk with it, etc, but if you don’t the tame will lose a 10 percent of effectivity. THANK YOU FOR READING AND I HOPE YOU VOTE THIS CREATURE HAVE A NICE DAY!
  11. While Ceratosaurus has been added to Ark Additions, rather than suggesting a concept on Ceratosaurus for its inclusion in Ark Survival Ascended on the Center map, my team and I have suggested the inclusion of a different yet once considered “controversial” species of Ceratosaurid from Argentina, known as Genyodectes. Common Name: Genyodectes Species: Genyodectes anoteros Time: Early Cretaceous Period Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Opportunistic Tameable: Yes Rideable: Yes Breedable: Yes Torpidity Immune: No Taming Method: Passive & Knockout Preferred Kibble: Superior Preferred Food: Raw Mutton Equipment: “Genyodectes Saddle” (Level 54- Crafted at either a Smithy or on an Argentavis saddle) Rider Weaponry: Yes Humans Can Carry: No Genyodectes artistic depiction designed by Deviantart user kingrexy at https://www.deviantart.com/kingrexy/art/Genyodectes-815452228 Wild "Across the plains, marshes, estuaries and transition zones of open woodlands throughout the Center, these habitats are the ideal hunting grounds for Genyodectes anoteros. This solitary hunter of small to medium-sized prey, this Ceratosaurid theropod is an adaptable ecological specialist, able to alter its diet depending on environmental conditions and thrive in semi-aquatic habitats”. "With its niche radiation across the Center, it is no wonder that its endurance and brute force are unmatched. Being able to stalk prey in the shadows without making a sound, combined with its agile nature, a robust skull design that is enforced by specialised jaw muscles and serrated teeth. Any prey that tries to escape from its grasp will experience a terrible fate, teeth designed to dig deeper into the flesh with every struggle. Causing mass haemorrhaging, and acting like a natural bear trap”. Domesticated "A sight to behold with its quick, keen and adept capabilities, in order to catch one or probably sneak up on the ambush expert are difficulties that most survivors consider not worth the challenge. However, rather than depending on a social hierarchy, nocturnal behaviour or sheer force, this flexible, smart, semi-aquatic and opportunistic predator appears more than just a perceived savage forager. Rather, a widespread top-predator at the top of its domain”. - Helena Walker Anatomy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genyodectes#/media/File:Genyodectes_saurus_jaws.jpg Discovered in 1901 by English Palaeontologist Sir Arthur Smith Woodward from the Cerro Barcino Formation also known as the Gorro Frigio Formation in the Chubut Province of Argentina. The holotype uncovered that belonged to Genyodectes consisted of an incomplete snout with the premaxilla, contents from both maxillas of the skull, the right and left dentary or the lower jawbone, numerous long, curved teeth, a fragment of the left splenial and bones above the dentary (the supradentaries). These were the only skeletal pieces known of this organism which was the second non-avian dinosaur excavated from South America. https://www.deviantart.com/jorobania/art/Genyodectes-skull-reconstruction-934358036 Genyodectes was not originally designated as a Ceratosaurus and rather as a nomen dubium or an “unknown application” of theropod, which over a span of a hundred years of argumentation over fragmented evidence. Genyodectes would be designated its own genus containing one type species known as Genyodectes serus. Genyodectes (which originates from the words "jaw" and "bite" in Greek) became a major significant specimen of dinosauria uncovered from South America, being the most complete known South American theropod species until the 1970s. However, from 2000 to 2010, Genyodectes would be argued towards its ecological placement in the taxonomic order, with some arguing it was a megalosaurid, a tyrannosaurid, a “incertae sedis” and an abelisaurid (a senior synonym of Abelisaurus). In 2004, Oliver W. M. Rauhut concluded its taxonomic placement, primarily with reevaluation of the specimen. Genyodectes serus lacked important abelisaurid and tyrannosaurid synapomorphies that were shared by two or more taxa, primarily those with neoceratosaurian traits. This implied that Genyodectes was closer to and possibly descended from theropods related to the Late Jurassic Ceratosaurus than other derived abelisaurids. Rauhut specified “that the premaxillary teeth are arranged in an overlapping en echelon pattern with the longest maxillary teeth crowns no longer apicobasally than the minimal dorsoventral depth of the mandible. Differing from Ceratosaurus in the presence of four, as opposed to three, premaxillary teeth”, according to https://www.researchgate.net/publication/235907356_Provenance_and_anatomy_of_Genyodectes_serus_a_large-toothed_Ceratosaur_Dinosauria_Theropoda_from_Patagonia. https://ars.els-cdn.com/content/image/1-s2.0-S0895981116301341-gr1.jpg and https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0895981116301341 The paleoenvironment of Genyodectes from the Early to Late Cretaceous Cerro Barcino Formation within the Cerro Castaño stratigraphic member unit (the member is 113 to 100.5 million years old- Genyodectes is estimated to have existed from 112 million years ago) that contains evidence of humid flood-plain like conditions. This environment allowed for a wide array of fauna to thrive, including the Peirosaurid Barcinosuchus gradilis, the Gigantosaurin Carcharodontosaurid known as Tyrannotitan chubutensis, titanosaurids such as the lognkosaur Patagotitan mayorum (which existed 101.62 million years ago), Chubutisaurus insignis, abelisaurus remains, Lepidosaur reptiles like Kaikaifilusaurus minimus, and Testudinata turtles such as Chubutemys copelloi and Prochelidella cerrobarcinae. Design, Behaviour and AI The first way to make Genyodectes a unique dinosaur when compared to in-game and current therapods would be in both its wild and domesticated behaviour. This would make first encounters with Genyodectes unique and possibly memorable. The below concept art was created by myself (MonstersHunters) as a basic sketch on the suggested behaviours. A Genyodectes outmanoeuvring a Parasaurolophus - Illustrated by MonstersHunters The movement of Genyodectes should be different from other predators currently in Ark. Built for flat habitats such as estuaries, flood-meadows and marshes, a Genyodectes will lock onto prey and begin chasing it. However, it will bend and turn (serpentine) in a random ordeal to outmanoeuvre and confuse its prey, allowing it to ensnare or outpace its prey target given the environment (the Center has a large amount of cliffs, waterfalls and hillsides, which can be used as either ideal or avoidable recommendations for hunting depending on the individual Genyodectes). This behaviour I believe would work better than continuing with the simple biting and mauling its prey in a simple hitbox locked-on fashion like a majority of the creatures currently in Ark, while also making Genyodectes unique from other theropods in a single process. A Genyodectes grabbing and crushing a Pachycephalosaurus - Illustrated by MonstersHunters Similar to Kaprosuchus and Sarcosuchus, when Genyodectes grabs a prey item (ranging from a Compsognathus to a Human in size), both its teeth and specialised jaw muscles snap shut and lock the prey item in place. Immediately causing haemorrhaging and internal bleeding. Genyodectes would have fed on small ornithischians, mammals, possibly fish and fast-moving prey sources in its Early Cretaceous environment in the floodplains of South America. Using its robust head and jaw anatomy designed and specialised for biting and stopping prey in their tracks. The proximity based recognition of a Wild Genyodectes - Illustrated by MonstersHunters When wild Genyodectes are hunting or are preparing to ambush a target, its AI will lock onto the smallest, weakest or slowest target in a given range. To be realistic to an extent, Genyodectes like most therapods would probably take advantage of specific (slower, smaller, weaker or injured) prey sources (being opportunistic). In the above image, rather than targeting or locking onto an Iguanodon or a Gallimimus, a smaller prey item that can’t fight back or run away such as a Pegomastax would be a desired prey item. A Genyodectes scaring a pair of Utahraptors off a Stegosaurid Carcass - Illustrated by MonstersHunters The next key behavioural factor present in both wild and domesticated Genyodectes, would be its ability to kick smaller therapods off of caracesses and carrion. Applying to all non-avian theropods in nature, Ceratosaurus and Genyodectes were not full-time scavengers like vultures. Though In a majority of recent pop culture and TV-show depictions of this theropod family, Ceratosaurus itself is portrayed as either a weaker and more “useless” theropod in its paleoenvironment or as scavenger (in reality, pterosaurs would have most likely have filled scavenger-related roles) of the carcasses from larger theropods such as Saurophaganax, Torvosaurus, Lourinhanosaurus or Allosaurus (or Tyrannotitan and abelisaurids in the case of Genyodectes). When given the opportunity, Genyodectes will threaten and force smaller scavengers ranging from compys to ravagers off of non-harvested caresses or injured prey items (applying a temporary debuff somewhat similar to the Yutyrannus Terror/Fear ability). A Genyodectes fishing for a Coelacanth - Illustrated by MonstersHunters The final key behavioural factor is a behavioural ability, applied to Ceratosaurids in general. Proposals in 2004 by Robert Baker and Gary Bir, and challenged in 2019 by Chan-gyn Yun, the body of Ceratosaurus was long, flexible and low to the ground, coupled with tall vertical neural spines and deep chevron bones on the underside of its tail. Ceratosaurus would have had a crocodile-like tail that convergently would have been used towards swimming in times of ecological changes. When desired prey sources such as sauropods or stegosaurids were no longer abundant/absent in a surrounding habitat, Ceratosaurus could switch its niche or diet plan towards hunting aquatic prey items like lungfish (Ceratosaurus teeth are abundant in excavation points where prehistoric lungfish specimens have been recovered in the Morrison Formation) depending on the surrounding changes in available prey sources, or the environment the Ceratosaurus adapted to. While this is present in Ceratosaurus, Genyodectes has been uncovered from the Cerro Barcino Formation in the Chubut Province of Argentina. This formation contains member layers from different geographical positions that provide time estimates from the Early Cretaceous, specifically in this case, the Cerro Castaño that contains evidence of humid flood-plain like conditions that could have seen Genyodectes perform niche partitioning by having a wide-ecological collection of prey items. This means that Genyodectes could have possibly been semi-aquatic. Also in the scenario that future evidence proves these theories wrong, it is a unique speculative concept that could be incorporated into a fictional species of Genyodectes for Ark. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For the design, Genyodectes should have the above behavioural traits adapted into its final design, but should also appear slightly larger in size (about 2 to 3 feet taller), mainly due its niche diversity in the Center ecosystem that resulted in a larger size, as well as having to compete with other fictional species of predators: https://everythingdinosaurs.weebly.com/genyodectes.html Genyodectes could also features present in other Ceratosaurids like the Italian ceratosaurid Saltriovenator and Ceratosaurus in its design: A Great Artistic Recreation of Saltriovenator by Brennan Stokkermans at https://brennanstokkermans.artstation.com/projects/w82zxL. and A detailed 3d sculpt model of Ceratosaurus by 3D Artist Jonathan Harris at https://www.artstation.com/artwork/nQDPB4 Note that one key detail present in both illustrations or depictions of Ceratosaurid theropods is the inclusion of a layer of skin that covered the teeth, essentially a false “lip”. Another way to distinguish Genyodectes anoteros is through these small details. A large majority of Ark Survival Evolved’s current theropod dinosaurs either lack reptilian-like “lips” (not true lips like those in mammals) such as the Rex, Spinosaurus, Utahraptor, Giganotosaurus and Allosaurus, or are semi-lipped like the Megalosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus and Carnotaurus. To oversimplify, skin coverings would have been present on most theropods, birds (skin coverings are present in some birds like eagles, emus, rheas, secretary birds, crested caracara and puffins which do lack teeth, but have these forms of extra oral tissue) and reptiles (such as monitor lizards, tuatara, agamids, geckos and iguanas - excluding crocodilians) to protect the outer enamel and parts of the tooth from outside elements that could cause wear and tear or destroy the tooth. To constantly replace damaged teeth would be taxing on these dinosaurs, so after much debate in the paleontological community, skin coverings over the teeth have been speculated and specified to have existed in theropods ranging from Spinosaurids to Dromaeosaurids and Abelisaurids (including Ceratosaurids). Genyodectes anoteros males should have a unique or vibrant crest display as a form of sexual display. The tails in both males and females should also be muscular and large in relation to their adaptive radiation from a terrestrial to semi-aquatic swift/agility based lifestyle. Its legs and body plan should be designed or intended towards outrunning or outmanoeuvring prey, similar to its behavioural factors. This means a lower to the ground body posture with a long and flexible torso region coupled with proportionally yet muscular sized legs to carry its estimated 905 kilograms (1995.18 pounds) in weight (in 2016, Genyodectes serus was estimated to be 6.25 metres in length and 790 kilograms (1741.65 pounds/lb) in weight. Ceratosaurus’s weight was calculated at 980 kgs or 2160.53 lbs in maximum weight. The fictional species should be somewhere in between both estimates). A final detail would be that Genyodectes should have a randomly scattered osteoderm covered skin pattern/texture, similar to Abelisaurids like Carnotaurus. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Abilities and Advantages - Genyodectes anoteros is designed and built for agility and brute force. Unlike other theropods, Genyodectes has a 50% stamina reduction characteristic. - When running and sprinting, Genyodectes receives an ability known as “Serration”. When in combat with larger opponents, the amount of energy built up as momentum collides with the target and can deal an increased percentage of damage depending on the amount of time sprinting or the amount of energy behind the attack (such as running downhill - ranging on a scale from 5 to 10 times more damage output). This ability still applies in shallow, knee-deep water for the Genyo, but can be disabled if in a lake or deeper water body. - With enough energy and correct timing, both tamed and wild Genyodectes anoteros can apply an attack known as “Dissection” when confronting smaller targets. Ranging from a compsognathus or noglin in size to a human, this ability is an alternative to Serration. The Genyo can grip a target based on its jaw and skeletal adaptations that are intended towards snapping its jaws shut and tearing away flesh. This means that the longer a small prey item is held in its jaws, the teeth dig deeper into the muscle tissue and cause a bleeding debuff similar to the “gnashed” condition. This will continue until either enough damage is applied on the Genyo, a torpor effect is applied or the prey item dies. - With its behaviours, wild Genyodectes movements are based on calculating or measuring the movement of its prey target, which allows it to quickly out-manoeuvre its prey. When riding a tamed Genyodectes, twisting and turning allows it to maintain a majority of its momentum and can allow it to maintain its stamina in a controlled fashion. If you run into a tree, rock or charge your target by applying "Serration” on a larger target, its momentum will be slowed or be stopped completely. - The Genyodectes has the ability to dismount players off of tames, including Phiomias, Parasaurolophus, Iguanodons, Equus, Dire Wolves, Terror Birds, Megaloceros, Kaprosuchus, Sabertooth, Mantas, Pteranodon, Pelagornis, Gallimimus and Pachycephalosaurus (Lymantria, Ravagers, Thorny Dragons, Mantis, Andrewsarchus, Shadowmanes and Velonasaurus for creatures outside of the Center Map). - The Genyo can switch its attacks from mauling and biting a target to clawing or slashing instead, both applying different melee-based damage amounts. Biting deals more damage to a single target, while slashing can deal around the same total approximation of damage, instead distributed in total (adding up to said total) across multiple targets in a swing cycle. - The Genyo has a weight/carrying reduction of 25% towards specific harvested items such as hide, keratin, fur, oil and chitin. - The Genyodectes prefers to hunt solitary and can receive a negative debuff when hunting alongside other pack members that are male or are outside of its specific mate (mateboosted) and/or its offspring. Ceratosaurids are speculated to have hunted less in packs, but rather in family units between mates and sub-adult offspring. This means that offspring can receive a boost in imprinting with hunting experience alongside their parents and a survivor. - Tamed and raised Genyodectes can be imprinted and taught to ambush targets if outside of a flat or plateau-based area, being able to walk in a crawl-like fashion that can be altered or is accessible via the behaviour panel. This gives off limited sound cues when hunting, primarily for enemy players. - The Genyo can escape net projectiles from a harpoon launcher and will after an encounter, a wild Genyodectes anoteros will try to outmanoeuvre a net. Weaknesses - The most major weakness to Genyodectes is long-ranged weaponry, primarily chain bolas and catapult turrets. While the net gun’s net can be torn apart by the Genyodectes, chain bolas can easily ensnare and stop a Genyodectes in its tracks, if a player recognises the direction it's running in. Another alternative is a chalicotherium, which can easily obstruct and kill a weak Genyo if it is not in flat terrain. - The Genyo can not dismount players off of tames including Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Argentavis, Procoptodon, Thylacoleo, large theropods taller than an Allosaurus and certain Aquatic mounts including Ichthyosaurus, megalodon, Basilosaurus, and Sarcosuchus (creatures on other maps include Griffins, Magmasaurus, Bloodstalkers and Astrocetus). - The last debuff to the Genyo is that at night when in combat with a Megalosaurus, the Genyo receives a 15% health regeneration debuff and a 10% movement speed decrease when in combat with both domesticated/tamed and wild Megalosaurus (making it a perfect counter in certain scenarios). - While the Genyo can swim and has a tail designed towards agility both on land and in the water, the Genyo can drown (has an oxygen metre) after an extended period of time. Taming Method: While a Genyo can be tamed with narcotics, kibble and raw mutton, the easiest method is to use a passive tame. Using Ghillie armour, a player can instead cooperate with a Genyodectes in a handful to a series of ambushes of a selected prey target. After participating in an ambush, a player can feed the Genyodectes its preferred food item (mutton or superior kibble which reduces the number of ambushes that have to be performed). Passive grants higher taming progression when compared to knockout taming. One key detail with Wid Genyodectes that can be critical in the taming process, comes down to trapping the animal. In open environments such as floodplains and the undergrowths of marshland, Genyodectes can easily out manoeuvre and overrun prey sources, though if someone was to trap it with a large bear trap or in a foundation-based cage with gates. The Genyo will have nowhere to run. A player can also use an Equus’s kicks to apply an increased amount of torpor on a Genyo. Spawning Locations: https://ark.wiki.gg/wiki/Resource_Map/The_Center With Genyodectes being specialised for various environments on the Center map. Genyodectes anoteros spawns in both the temperate regions in the Snowy Grasslands (Uncommon) and the Western Cliffs (Rare) on the Western Landmass of the Center, as well as the open woodlands and estuaries of the Southern Jungle (Rare), the Southern Tropical Island (Common), the Northern Tropical Island (Common), and the flat regions of the Bridge (Very Rare) Any suggestions and comments please reply below. These are my team's suggestions, so all credit and reference goes to them for the idea (s). Thanks. - MonstersHunters For those interested in Genyodectes outside of this suggestion, I would recommend checking out the Prehistoric Beasts mod for Ark on the Steam Workshop at https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2003934830 created by mod authour Crysta. 12. Hi Wildcard, as you all know the creature submission for 'The Center' is now live but since it's a long forgotten outdated map along with the dozens of unique creature submissions you can see that the community has levelled up the quality of creatures, and I think this addition of '3' new creatures can definitely revitalize this map once again. I'm suggesting that instead of '1' creature submission for The Center maybe we could get at least '3'. The way people are submitting their concepts seems like they were waiting and preparing for it, you can truly see the passion this community has for the game and for the map. That's why I'm proposing that instead of just 1 creature submission maybe we can get at least '3' specifically just for 'The Center'. I was there when Mr. Frank was creating The Center map Redwood biome, The Cave behind the Waterfall, The Deep Sea Area and the Land Bridge with the Icy part beneath, the Bear Dens and the Underground Expansion on twitch. We love this map and we hope to see more TLC for The Center. Thanks WildCard and Best Regards also to Mr. Frank.
  13. Rodhocetus Kasrani Rodhocetus is a genius off early whales Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rodhocetus Name: Rodhocetus kasrani Group Mammal Time: Eocene Diet: Piscivore Temperament: Territorial/docile Rodhocteus is a amphibious whale who would be a fearsome foe on both land and sea. I feel ark`s oceans need a new BIG creature but actualy beeing abel to leave the ocean and stil be decent is preferd so I think this could be a fun creature to fit that role. It has alot off health and great damage, it`s quite fast and mobile in water but become more sluggish (while stil decent speed) while on land. Size will be simular to the astrocetus but maby a bit bigger. I feel the ocean in ark need a new BIG creature and I think it would be fun to have something that also can go on land and be decent. Dropp: Hide, meat, blubber (can be turned into oil in or used in cooking or consumed to stay warm/ regain stammina or heal carnivores), smal chance for silika pearls, black pearls and blueprint. Dossier: Rodhocteus is a name that strike fear into the heart of any seafaring surviver. This leviathan is feard and worshiped bye many often tried to catch and tamed buy multiple tribes but few even survive to tell the tail. It is a creature off duality not just because of it`s amphibious nature. I keep hearing tails off this blod thirsty monster that destroyes everything in it`s path, a creature abel to stop a ranging giga, but a few also describe it as a gentel giant who`s main food is simple fish. Even when I myself stod face to face with one it seemed more intrested in basking in the sun nothing like the stories I have heard so many told off it. And while few have succeeded a few have managed to get thees Behemoths on there side. Rodhocteus is a wounderfull sea mount as few creature dare to face it and it`s thick hide seem to protect it from the poision form the cnidaria. It has a remarkable abillity to fillter out the non edible part off it`s pray allowing it to farm large amount of chitin, hide, cementingpaste and silica and black pearls. Wild. Rodhocteus is mostly found in the centers`s oceans but can also be found basking on it`s beaches. It is mostly docile only attacking if provoked but it will turn aggresive against any raft or sea platform. It don`t agro on much else than coelacanth, megladons and leedsichthys and occasionally the nearby crustaceans. Domesticated: For those who can domesticate a rodhocetus these giants becomes wounderfull travel mounts for those who seek to explore the depths off the ocean, while as a mammal they do need oxygen rodhecetus can hold it`s breath for hours and seem to fear non off the other inhabitants off the deep. They can also serve as Cargo haulers even carring larger items and even herds of smaller creatures within it`s mouth. Rodhocetus seem to have adopted to store whater within it`s nasal cavity that it can eject at will. Some uses this ability to irrigate there crops, stop fire, relieve wounds and some just use it to cool down on a warm day. Take this with it`s majestic but intimidating bellow that seem to even intimidate the gigantosaurus rodhocetus can be great for defending and supporting your tribe and your homes. Abillities: 1 Left click Bite: A slow but powerful bite attack. 1.5 Mouth full: Hold down left click to swoop open rodhocetus`s mouth to pick up and store things in it`s mouth. It can pick up small herds off smaler creatures like wolfs. It can also scoop up parts off your base to relocate it, 2-4 foundations depending how much is on the foundations. Pressing left click again alows you to spit out creatures and survivors while holding let place down items and base parts. 2 Right click: leviathan`s Bellow Land: Rodhocetus emit a deep and powerfull bellow that disrupts all passive abillities and effects like: Ally: stops ally creatures from fear, bleeding and debuffs. Enemy: Stops passive boosts like dadedon healing, water buffs and giga and charcar rage. Water: While in water it works like ecolocation and finds wild and enemy creatures, explorer notes and reasurces like oil nodes. 3 Splash/body slam: While close to the water surface press space to luach yourself upp and slam down. this dismount enemy survivors and deals great damage to rafts and seaplatforms. the more momentum you have the greater the power. Passive: Thick blubber: Imune against torpor and cnidaria toxin. Bonus abillity: It stores water that it can blow out thru it`s blowhole to stop fire and give temporary healt regen to ally. While at the water surface blast out water thru it`s blowhole and make a rainbow like the basilosaur. Taming: To tame on for yourself you need to use rafts to wear it down. Rodhocetus will attack the raft (need multiple rafts for higher level, metal is more effective than wooden rafts) it will calm down allowing you to passive feed it. Saddle: I think a platform saddle could work well but I also se it just having a normal saddle. thank you for cheaking out my subbision hope you have a nice day.
  15. The ancestor of all crustaceans... From an era filled with great Predators... A swift hunter, with great vision and powerful pincers... Who blows bubbles... That's your new friend! 🦀🌟Chimera Crab🌟🦀 Hello to all the Survivors!!!👋 It is a pleasure to be able to present a creature for the Ark votes, you don't know what excites me, I wanted to participate for a long time and the opportunity finally came, the Chimera Crab is a fascinating being that in my opinion fits very well in The Center, especially in the ocean and its domes. I would love to see this eccentric little crab help the survivors of the Ark, if you would also like to see him I would be super grateful for his vote for the Chimera Crab.😁 (Sorry if you didn't understand something, my English is very bad). The Chimera Crab is a small crab whose scientific name is Callichimaera Perplexa, which means "unnervingly beautiful chimera", as this is perhaps the oldest and strangest crustacean compared to its congeners. This little one had specialized hind legs to swim with agility, giant eyes for a crab and for the size of its body it had strong claws to hold on and not let go, something very different from other crabs that are slow, with small eyes, that roam the world. bottom of the sea. Callichimaera Perplexa swam through the Cretaceous seas in what is now Colombia and the US . This little guy is, if you will, the ''platypus'' of the crab world, 📖Basic information Callichimaera Perplexa is a small crustacean that has become your best ally in The Center. This crab is a shouldered creature that will help you both in the water and on land, helping you with weight, defense and fantastic abilities with its bubbles. 🌏Habitat Callichimaera Perplexa usually swims in shallow seas or near domes. Although at sunset they enjoy walking along the beaches in search of food or a partner. 🦀Behavior The Chimera Crab behaves calmly, in the water it usually swims agilely without being disturbed, although it tends to be curious. If it takes damage, it will start attacking with its pincers, if its ph will be halved, it will release its toxins and run away. On land, when it takes damage, it releases its toxin and flees into the ocean. 🐟Taming Callichimaera Perplexa has a passive taming, but with a trick, despite being crustaceans, they show some intelligence and curiosity, to activate their taming, you must entertain them. These cannot be tamed in water. You have to wait for them to reach the coast to start taming them. These Crabs are carnivorous and prefer fish meat, although their favorite food is black pearls. On the shore, when you see your target, you should approach and make a gesture to get their attention, clap, wave or dance, etc. If Callichimaera likes what it sees, it will blow bubbles, if not, it will spit out its toxins. Be careful and be patient, when it likes you, you can feed it! 🔰Skills 💪Weight reduction For his morphology and limbs, the weight in his inventory is reduced by 70%. 🛡️Damage reduction due to the composition of his exoskeleton, the damage taken is reduced by 45%. 🪂Parachute If Callichimaera has Organic Polymer in your inventory, when it falls or is thrown from a great height, it will create a bubble that looks like a parachute to you. 💨Oxygen Callichimaera can also generate bubbles in the water which provides us with oxygen, for a limited time. ☣️Toxic Defense While our little crab is on our shoulder, it will serve as a defense against enemy attacks, when Callichimaera takes damage it will expel a toxic shot that will stun enemies for a short period (3min). This ability will reactivate every 10 min. 🏊‍♀️Swim Fast Callichimaera will help us swim much faster in the water. Thank you for reading!!!💗🦀
  16. Wild Styxosaurus can be found across the oceans of The Center, typically near shallow waters. It usually hunts fish yet may prey on smaller animals that wander too close to the water. Taming In order to tame the styxosaurus, the survivor must mount the styxo like an equus. The survivor must then feed it biotoxin to put it into a narcoleptic state until it's unconscious. Then the player will have to feed it fish meat in order for it to tame. Domesticated Once tamed, the styxo will be one of the fastest underwater creatures in the game, being able to travel very long distances thanks to its vast amount of stamina. The styxo's primary attack is a simple bite. The styxo's secondary attack is a grab, which is able to pick up smaller prey such as fish, cnidaria, electrophorus and ichthys. It is even able to grab players, including off dinos and rafts. If the styxo gets close to shore, it's able to use this attack to grab players off beaches. The styxo's third attack is a dash that will increase the styxo's speed and allow it to latch onto larger creatures and perform one of two abilities. The first one is a bleed, which makes it especially useful at taking down alphas. The second ability is a narcotic inducing poison that rapidly decreases a creature's torpor. Each will last for 30 seconds. The styxo's final ability is being able to passively heal allied creatures, both marine and land. In addition, the styxo is immune to cnidaria and eel attacks and performs a hooting noise when danger is present. Feel free to leave any other suggestions in the replies.
  17. scientific name:Crimson kubanochoeres Personality: Female friendly, male territorial consciousness [Ability] "A special fragrance" kubanochoeres's body will release a special fragrance, which has a strong interfering odor that can cause the frontal buff on its hostile creatures to subside. "The counter attacker of predator " kubanochoeres has specific combat effects for Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus based on gender. Male kubanochoeres is immune to 80% of Giganotosaurus's damage and can deal triple damage to the opponent with each attack. Female kubanochoeres is immune to 80% damage from Carcharodontosaurus and can deal triple damage to the opponent with each attack. [Manner of Taming] In the wild, kubanochoeres will appear in small groups, with female kubanochoeres being relatively friendly to humans and not actively attacking, while male kubanochoeres will actively attack approaching humans. Among them, male kubanochoeres cannot be tamed, and only individuals carrying young in female kubanochoeres can be tamed peacefully. You need to find a sow in the wild that follows a group of piglets. Then feed it with any feed. The level of feed determines the taming effect. After successful domestication, you can obtain the sow you feed and all the piglets it carries. [Precautions 】 Although female kubanochoeres does not actively attack, these swarming animals often have males with strong territorial awareness around them. kubanochoeres has a strong desire to attack Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus, and both males and females will attack Giganotosaurus or Carcharodontosaurus with a greater range of hatred than humans. When this type of animal attacks in groups, it can be a headache for the dominant players riding Giganotosaurus or Carcharodontosaurus. kubanochoeres's saddle unlocks at level 35.
  18. Ledumahadi mafube: This amazing creature, mixing honey and its saliva, is able to clone an item and a drawing (tek items or any buildings are not allowed). This can be done every 3 days. After taming, they get different abilities and prey skills randomly (stone, metal, flint, wood, tree sap, honey, biotoxin, straw, meat, lamb, prime meat, organic polymer, rotten meat). With his powerful blow, he is able to stun medium-sized creatures and throw the rider off the saddle, this blow is also very it breaks structures well (damage to straw buildings is 10x, damage to wooden buildings is 7x, damage to stone buildings is 5x, damage to metal buildings is 4.5x, and damage to tek buildings is 4x). A powerful punch can be used every 60. This dino is also able to show how much ammo is in the nearest enemy turrets. Taming: You need to find a wild specimen and give it various items (stone, metal, wood, straw, honey, tree sap, meat, biotoxin, organic polymer, rotten meat, lamb, flint, prime meat). If you do not guess many times what he wants, he will accumulate scale of anger and he will start to run away for 2 minutes, after which it will be possible to continue taming.
  19. Species: Cameroceras Thalassapyro Time: Middle Ordivician Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild Many survivors including myself have noted the extreme depth of the ocean on this Ark, apparently the western side of the ocean has no end but I seriously doubt if this is true. Many prehistoric marine life dwell in the strange abyss but one of them is significantly more flashier (fishier?) than the others, Cameroceras Thalassapyro. In a lot of ways it is similar to Tusoteuthis Vampyrus in that they are both cephalopods capable of spraying ink but that's where the similarities end for me at least. For one Cameroceras is much smaller that Tusoteuthis (I'd posit around the size of a Dunkleosteus) and well it glows and not just that, it's ink glows. Cameroceras ink seems to have many different properties depending on which colour the Cameroceras decides to glow and it can fire the ink in multiple different ways, either in a single big cloud similar to Tusoteuthis or multiple small bursts it can fire from a distance. Domesticated A tamed Cameroceras can prove to be one of the most useful underwater creatures to have at your (tribe's) disposal. Its large cone-like shell can be used as a big spear to just simply skewer other creatures but that's rarely why survivors tame them. The main reason Cameroceras Thalassapyro is tamed is due to its glowing ink that changes its properties depending on its colour, from what I have seen there are three "modes" Cameroceras can go into "heal" (green), "damage" (red), and "freeze (or just stun)" (cyan). What the ink does in these modes is pretty self-explanatory but as stated before Cameroceras can fire the ink in multiple ways either in a single large cloud or multiple small bursts that can be fired from a distance but I should warn you, Cameroceras is not an infinite well of ink, if too much ink is expelled it will have no ink in its body and will have to speed up its metabolism to make more ink, in non-biologist words when Cameroceras runs out of ink it gets incredibly hungry so make sure you brought a lot of snacks during your dives with this thing. Mechanics Cameroceras is the multi-purpose aquatic creature capable of stunning, dealing damage, and even healing things and its all because of its fancy glowing ink! Cameroceras' basic attacks include a bite and weird cone slam, similar to the Woolly Rhino you can turn this cone slam into a powerful charge attack though not as powerful as the Wooly Rhino's charge attack. Cameroceras can expel ink the same way in all of its modes either in single devastating cloud like the Tusoteuthis or it can fire pellets of the ink from a distance similar to a tek saddle. The three modes are heal (green), damage (red), and freeze (or stun) (cyan). Heal mode heals things that come in contact with the ink, Damage mode, get this, damages things that come in contact with the ink crazy right?, and lastly freeze mode stuns things that come in contact with the ink. Stun mode in particular deserves a somewhat deeper look, the ink bullets don't immediately stun enemies but only after many, many shots. The Single Ink Cloud does instantly stun enemies however. Cameroceras has a unique ink stat, this stat determines how much ink it can expel, when theres no more ink Cameroceras gets a status effect that increases ink replenishing however also making it's hunger drain a bit more. Taming Oops I forgot to add how you tame this thing, uuhhh you let it eat some honey i guess.
  20. (description) Caroline conuropsis are birds of the same species, but with a problem in evolution due to a small setback they will split Caroline conuropsis will be different we can classify the 4 types of birds with the following symbols and they were inspired by the Carolina parakeet or (Conuropsis carolinensis) 1) the symbol containing the number 1 represents the tropical Caroline canuropsis this species can be found in the redwood 2) already naked symbol 2 we can find sand Caroline can be found on the beach or in places a little deserted 3) now naked symbol 3 the symbol represents the iceconuropsis this is a sentinel can be found in the coldest mountains 4) this is conuropsis Caroline maritime is a species that lives near ports and beach each number represents each, so remember 1) skill 1) canuropsis Tropical Caroline is a fast animal in the air her skill is very similar to that of the ptero in terms of movement she can spin a torpedo in the air 1) skill 2) if you have too many seeds in her stock she can recharge her stamina even if you have more attention because she has a diet that only eats mejoberry seed 1) skill 3) has her feathers of the color of Vegetation Squat will have a very similar appearance to a bush thus making a great camouflage 1) Skill 4) It will have a thunderous ability It will have a sonorous scream that will stun and leave your opponents with their ears blown and dying slowly without saying that if you attack the opponent again with the same attack you increase the damage of the scream and you will die faster 1) Meek: To tame it you will have to steal eggs you will have to be lucky because if you steal the egg the father and mother will have a breath maternity 2x more damage and life they will do everything to get your egg plus a way to get the eggs without the parents catching you they are very curious and playful birds if you throw an item on the ground they will pick it up and play with it, but remember that it has to be a very good item to last while they play there you will have to be careful and feed it with seed 1) saddle) your saddle is very good, but what is really good about it is the suit that serves to slide and camouflage in the air this suit comes with a whistle that when activated your tropical conoropsis Caroline came to you or sent there somewhere ( for example, steal wyven eggs then send her to go somewhere to put on the costume and disassemble, then she goes alone and still take the wyven without pleasing them to you 2 2) Skill 1) Sandy Caroline has the ability to make a sand tornado that will pull animals close either in the sky or on land or under the sand 2) skill 2) will have a stone or crystal or metal ability and throw it at an enemy similar to the golem skill, depending on which of the three options presented, each will have different damage 2) skill 3) vision and the sharpening suit, if you want to find more than one animal, just choose a denial of the creature and smell and the vision will be triggered for you to find the creature more be aware because it lasts only 1 minute 2) skill 4) she will have the ability to create small burrows under the sand that can be used for sleeping and as a camp plus has one, but if the sand Caroline leaves the burrow she will collapse and lose the items or structures she has placed inside 2) tame her) to steal the eggs from this tonimal you will need to find a burrow for him and I hope he has gone to get ornaments for the burrow because if not, he will bite you and kill you on the shelves, but if he does not have it there, take the egg as fast as he will be able to track his footprints (hint: Do not use land animals) 2) Saddle)Your saddle is also very good, but it has a suit that will give you great camouflage, in addition, you will have a shield that is not only good for protecting, but also for sliding over the sandhills 3 3 3) Habilidade 1)Iceconurops terá aability to freeze your victims until they die and if you cultivate these victims you will have polymer organic . 3) ability 2) this animal looks like a statue because it is almost not noticeable because it will protect its base very well because it can throw its frozen feathers that can freeze invading animals. [3) ability 3) it can create a kind of ice thorn serca that can create a protection around it the size of 4 meters long and 4 meters wide this serca lasts 30 seconds. 3) skill 4) tickles and freezes water and if you go to a warm place you can thaw the water and drink. 3) domestication: The first thing you should know is that their nests are very easy to find, but what is not easy is to know where the parents are. that's the problem the nest has too many Crystal, so it's going to be very hard to know what's real or not anymore, if you want you can grab the egg and run away (anyway). 3) saddle) your saddle will give you the ability to freeze food like a fridge and give you a suit to slide in the snow like a sled shoe it also has an axe can be thrown and it comes back and causes two times of damage and the better the saddle the better the damage of the axe's ability. 4) 1) it will have the ability to float in the water just like the pelagonis, but also swim in the water 4) ability 2)it will have the ability to hypnotize an animal or better, emit the same sound as the animal and it can order that animal to follow you or attack something elseFor him to attract this animal he needs to kill the animal of the same species that is of the opposite sex and you have 1 minute after the spell ends 4) skill 3) he can give a big beat with his wings making any creature be pushed this ability can not only be used on land but in water and air and this beat slows down the launched creatures 4) ability4) if you need to navigate by the seas or even flying over the seas at night, just activate the degree of light of the conuropsis Caroline nu maritime if her bioluminescence will shine her way through the sea and land and sky 4) ability 5) as a baby he is a great shoulder creature because he has theability to identify aggressive or passive animals being red to aggressive and green to passive 4) taming) unlike the mother of the ark this animal will not attack the players it will give a sonic scream that will force the surrounding creatures to attack the players, so run in a hurry and pick up your egg and do not look back 4) saddle) your saddle is fully ready for the water in addition to which it will also give you a suit this suit will give you more speed in the water that will give you a hook that can being thrown this hook can't just be for catch fish with possible attacks from a distance
  21. Hallucigenia Sparsa: You can watch an in-depth video from me, covering this concept in greater detail here: (And yes, this is my Youtube Channel) Contents: 1: Real World Info 2: Dossier 3: Sexual Dimorphism 4: Abilities 5: Taming 6: Post Taming 7: Other Important Things Real World Info The Hallucigenia is an extinct creature that is very unique. Although it is hard to tell the closest relative of it is actually the Velvet Worm. (I won't include a picture incase of people who don’t like gross stuff, but I’d recommend to search it up as it is a very unique creature) It was originally believed to walk on the spikes on its back (first picture) but was later discovered that it actually walked on the things they thought were tentacles, legs now. (second picture) But I will be using both of these renditions for the full concept of my Hallucigenia. The difference between Female and Male Hallucigenia allow for both PvE Players as well as PvP players giving all sides of the game a new creature to use. This should hopefully help everyone get something they like. If there are any suggestions or question you have of my creature concept make sure to leave them down below, and I will try to add as many suggestions as I can to the concept. What Scientists originally thought the Hallucigenia looked like: What Scientists later discovered it actually looked like: Although the Hallucigenia Sparsa did only grow to about 1 inch long it would be much bigger for the sake of fitting into the fauna of the Arks. Females would be slightly larger than a Diplo, and Males would be slightly smaller than a Diplo. Dossier: I unfortunately do not have any Dossier Art or Art in General, but I do have a description of a potential Dossier (If anyone would like to make art showcasing this creature it would be awesome!): Common Name: Hallucigenia Species: Hallucigenia sparsa Time Period: Mid Cambrian Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Docile - Until Provoked Wild: The Hallucigenia sparsa, alongside another recently discovered specimen the Rhyniognatha, reassures my suspicion that the Ark’s have tampered with the genes of their habiting creatures, some more than others. It was incredibly small in reality, smaller than my thumb, but here it is a towering beast capable of handling even the toughest of marine life here. They adore deadly spikes layering across its back, proving to be useful for both display and defence. With some even evolving to walk using these spikes, it is fascinating the rate at which creatures on the Arks can evolve. Domesticated: Although tamed through a blood transfusion with a weak juvenile, once grown up there have been several sexual differences between males and females. The vibrant Males I’ve studied had solely walked with their spikes, but instead using their “legs” as a way to release spores that have harsh effects. While the Females have been quite the opposite, being dull in coloration, walking with their actual legs and using their spikes as defence. I’ve also witnessed the Females have a very abnormal weight tolerance, and is mainly used for transporting large hoards of items. These gentle giants, while not preferring combat, come equipped with a variety of tools. Males utilize their deadly spores and agility while Females can withstand a large amount of damage and use their piercing spikes in combat. With both offence and utility at its disposal, the Hallucigenia is definitely a creature worth having. Sexual Dimorphism: Males: Male Hallucigenia look very different from Females, being the older rendition of the creature. Males also come in a more vibrant colour than females as is mainly the case in the wild, as well as are smaller than Female Hallucigenia. Image of what it could look like: Females: Female Hallucigenia look much more like the modern rendition of the creature. Females are less vibrant in color than Males and are also a bit bigger than the Males as well. They are also much more tanky than Male Hallucigenia’s. Image of what it could look like: Abilities: For Both Genders: Lightweight - Both Male and Female Hallucigenia can press 2 keys to go up or down in the water. This allows for changeable water depth very quickly. This also allows them to be at any water depth in the Center’s ocean. Adaptability - Both Male and Female Hallucigenia have the ability to be on both land and water. For Males Only: Climbing - Male Hallucigenia have the ability to scale up walls and any other surface similar to a Megalania due to their sharp spikes moving them around. This would act just like Megalania but would also be able to move left and right as well. Spore Burst - Male Hallucigenia have the ability to spray a large cloud of all Hallucigenia Spore’s (Hallucigenia Spores disorient, suffocate, slow and tranquillize targets (similar to all the mushrooms on Ab) that affect anyone or creature that goes through it. This ability then goes on cooldown. Spore Beam - Male Hallucigenia have the ability to concentrate a beam of a selected spore type towards an enemy which will both deal the intended effect as well as some damage towards them as well. Spore Types: Tranquillize - Will increase the Torpor of the target rapidly. Damage - Will damage the target rapidly. Suffocation - Will decrease the Oxygen of the target rapidly. Slow - Will decrease the movement speed of the target rapidly. Disorientation - Will disorient the target rapidly. (similar to the death mushrooms on Ab) For Females Only: Carrier - Female Hallucigenia have the ability to carry a large amount of weight and even have a weight decrease for a majority of items. Making the Hallucigenia a great creature for storing and moving items. The Hallucigenia will also still be able to move when it is overburdened but instead can’t have anything else on it. Spiky Back - Whenever a Female Hallucigenia is attacked by another creature it will take a large portion of the damage it dealt back to it. This makes the Hallucigenia a good creature for defending bases. Nudge - Press C to slowly charge on the side you are facing. This will deal significant damage to a creature and give them the impaled status affect for a short duration. This is good for getting creatures off of you that are attacking you from the sides. This attack will also do a good amount of knockback. Last Escape - Hold down a button (X) for 4 seconds to initiate this ability. You will shake rapidly knocking all creatures near you back. The Hallucigenia will then launch all of its spikes out in every direction dealing large chunks of damage to any creature hit by it and gives any hit creature the impaled status affect. If underwater the Hallucigenia will float rapidly towards the surface. Once all this has been completed the Hallucigenia will lose 80% of its health and will gain a temporary speed boost to make a grand escape. It will take a long duration for the spikes to grow back and be used again in abilities that use it. I feel that this ability helps to get your creatures to escape instead of them dying. As I know many people would rather not use a creature for a bit and let them heal rather than losing them forever. Toggleable Ability: Lay Down - Hold for the Toggle Wheel and select Lay. The Female Hallucigenia will then lay down on the ground or on the bed of the sea and act basically as a primitive spiked wall but it is much bigger. This will also heal the creature much more quickly and regain a large amount of Stamina. Taming: In order to tame a Hallucigenia you must first find a wandering baby in the wild. You would then give it a certain amount of Bio-Toxin (20 per level, so if I was trying to tame a lvl 150 Hallucigenia I would have to give it 3000 Bio-Toxin). Once it has calmed down after you have given it the Bio-Toxin it will latch onto your back beginning to drain your health. In order for it to tame it will drain health (or if you have blood packs in your inventory, it will drain those instead) in order to be tamed. Throughout this process the baby Hallucigenia can go out of water, but if it takes any damage it will hop off and ruin the taming. After Taming: Once you have successfully tamed yourself a Juvenile Hallucigenia it is not over yet… Once they are tamed they still need to be nurtured and fed, so once tamed they will have to stay mounted to your back until they reach 25% growth. Once they reach 25% growth they will hop off your back and demand blood to eat, just like wyverns require meat and wyvern milk. (This stage of getting a Hallucigenia also applies when you have bred one, it must mount you and drain your blood until 25% growth) Other Important Things: Basic Hallucigenia saddle unlock at Lvl 72 (will be used for both Male and Female Hallucigenia). Platform Saddle (For Males Only) will unlock at Lvl 83. Baby Hallucigenia take a large portion of time to grow, (roughly the same amount of time to grow as a Rex) After mating Hallucigenia will lay eggs just like many other species in Ark. Hallucigenia must be underwater to begin Mating. And that it is for this concept! I hope you enjoyed and it would be much appreciated if you could upvote this creature as I feel it would make a great addition to Ark’s Oceans!
  22. My son really wanted to add to this so he asked to help him put this together Hatzegopteryx Species: Hatzegopteryx thambema Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Opportunistic · Makes enemies bleed out with it sharp teeth · Strong and as fast as a wyvern · Does fear ability like a yuti · You can put cannons on it like a Quetz · Beak that can pierce most animals · 60% weight reduction on resources · Flying smithy
  23. My son really wanted to submit this so ive helped him put it together Hoffman's Dragon shark aka Godzilla Shark Species: Dracopristis Hoffmanorum Time: Carboniferous Period Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive · 60% weight reduction pearls · Summons 2 megalodons for protection while being tamed · Faster and higher health but lower strength than a megalodon · Gives you temporary water breathing buff · Can stun enemies · Tuso’s do not attack · Doesn’t take damage from jellyfish but can be dismounted · Spikes are poisonous · Tail whip ability · Silica and black pearl farmer · Deep sea exploring mount · Has armor and high level torpor
  24. Unlike its Ankylosaurus relative, this subspecies of the real Anodontosaurus is over 6.5 meters and reaches up to 9 meters, but this is a kind guy. Wild: You will find the Anodontosaurus usually grazing on large plains with its young, it is a gentle giant, but when attacking its young it will be a great opponent that can roll like a great steamroller crushing anyone in the way Method of taming: To have the anodontosaurus antliam as your partner, you will have to separate it from an adult as a puppy and feed it with vegetables or feed, since when it is small, it does not eat simple berries after great care, it will become fond of you and will be a new ally don't worry he will eat berries as an adult. Skills: Compression: This skill can only be used by equipping anodontosaur with a saddle where you roll out and your turn is more spaced but it is faster and tramples smaller creatures causing great damage. Tail Attack: An attack that farms rocks like the ankylosaur and does good damage. Bone break: when holding the tail attack a bar starts to charge and at 100% this attack deals 200% more damage and leaves the creature paralyzed. Bite: Fruit farming attack with little damage. Passive Skills: Thick Armor: This passive brings a 25% damage reduction from close range attacks and 50% damage reduction from explosions and ranged attacks. Grassland Giant: This buff happens when you walk your anodontosaurus in a grassland where it gains 15% more stamina which is its weak point. Dossier: I've seen many tribes looking for this giant of the grasslands for battles and resource farming since its bushy tail and skill combination is quite dangerous, but remember with great armor comes great nerds, this armored giant is commonly found in the beautiful landscapes of The center looking for roots to feed its young but when tamed and incredibly good for its tribe farming like ankylosaurus and defending with the strength of a rex
