My idea is this Oryctodromeus. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oryctodromeus I have a vision, of this burrowing creature that has a few nifty abilities. Rideable but fairly moderate speed. Does not have a lot of combat power, but makes up for it in utility. Lower spectrum of health. When riding the creature can do small jumps roughly the speed and height of the Equus. Its left click allows normal attack, and gathers thatch, fiber, berries, chitin meat and hide. Rightclick he struts his neck up towards the sky and does two singing barks, for a pack call, this calls any other tamed dino to his side. Pressing C, the Oryctodromeus will regurgitate if he has the right amount of resources in his inventory aka. 200 spoiled meat, 100 chitin/keratin, 500 fiber, and 200 thatch, and it will create an oozing smelly pile of bio matter. After a 3 minute cooldown, this pile will be harvestable for organic polymer, and gives half the organic polymer of a rotten dino in the swamps. The drawback to this mechanic, is that any insect in the vincinity will be drawn to the smell, and flock towards the pile.. Pulminoscorpius, Arthropluera, Meganaura, Titanomyrma, Mantis, Araneo, Dungbeetle etc. Double tapping C, if the following items are in the Oryctodromeus inventory it will start making a burrow... 2000 thatch and 500 fiber the Oryctodromeus will do a small animation similar to that of a dog, preparing to curl up into his/her basket walking in a circle, and will tilt its head down towards the ground, leaning forward, and start kicking dirt into a smoke cloud... as the smokecloud dissipates a small little "giant beaver dam" (the big type of beaver dam, which you can walk into) looking hut will appear, which can be "mounted" like a dino by pressing the action button E. Upon pressing E the player disappears inside the burrow, and is inside it as a makeshift shelter. It allows the room for 2 players, and gives sheltered bonus, with 300 hypothermal insulation, and 200 hyperthermal insulation, and the "house" effect. Whilst players are inside the burrow they are completely invisible to the surrounding dinosaurs as if they are not present at all. the burrow cannot be demolished, but attacked for regaining a portion of the resources, but the burrow will ultimately time out after 30 minutes, and disappear if uninhabited. To prevent people from misusing this mechanic to block other people in PVE, ANY player can attack the burrow, friend or foe, in both PVE and PVP. the burrow has 5 static inventory slots, and can hold only items that fits into these 5 slots, such as 5 stacks, or 5 none stackable items.. If an egg is placed in the burrow, the decay timer on the egg is doubled. Holding the actionbutton E on the burrow, allows an option like the Maewing to pickup babies, which stowes the babies inside the burrow. However It doesn't offer any other benefit, except hiding the babies. To tame the creature, you must tranquilize other dino's next to it, and put organic polymer inside their inventory.
