Intro Greeting and salutations, fellow Survivors! I have an absolutely amazing concept for you all; one that will leave you trembling in your boots... literally! A powerful beast capable of gathering stone, tanking damage, busting down doors, and more, this is a powerful door-smasher that will take Scorched Earth by storm! Without further ado, I present... Autremus, The Titanic Bighorn Wild Wild Autremus typically spawn in small herds, between 4 to 6 members in size. They are usually rather calm, but when attacked they become highly aggressive, with a large aggro radius. They are also rather fast, outrunning most survivors, and they can break through boulders, trees, and some structures in their way when they charge, making it difficult to evade them. They can be bola-ed, but once free they will move twice as fast for a five second period. They are also highly territorial in the presence of their natural enemies, meaning Dire Wolves, Saberteeth, Daeodon, and Thylacoleo, so be careful when traveling upon the backs of any of these tames, as Autremus deals an additional 10% damage to these creatures.. Autremus will also flee from Wyverns of any kind (including Voidwyrms and Rock Drakes), as the breath weapons of Wyverns, Crystal Wyverns, and Voidwyrms do 25% increased damage to Autremus. Autremus' fear of Wyverns overrides their hatred of their natural enemies, so use this fear to your advantage when fleeing or fighting Autremus. Taming Taming the Autremus is rather straightforward, simply increase its torpor, then feed it it's favorite food. Pretty simple, right? Yeah, its simple. But not easy, thats for sure. Autremus has torpor similar to an Allosaurus, but its 15% damage reduction combined with its slow torpor gain makes it take even longer to knockout, and once it is knocked out, its torpor drains faster than most other creatures. Its preferred taming foods are also rather difficult. It only consumes Superior Kibble, Cactus Broth, Cactus Sap, Savoroot, or Rockarrot, although the two former will provide a much faster tame than the other three. Domesticated Autremus are useful for collecting stone and sand in greater quantities. They gain 2x stone per hit and 1.5x times sand per hit, and they reduce the weight of both by 75%. They can also gather Metal, Sulfur, and Obsidian at 1.25x per hit, and reduce the weight of them by 50%. Combine this with their high-weight capacity (comparable to an Argentavis) and large, slow-draining stamina pool, they are extremely useful for gather stone resources. Autremus is also sandstorm-immune, and provides high heat insulation to its rider (and minor protection for allied survivors nearby)! Keep in mind that their food drains slightly faster though, so make sure their inventory is properly stocked with Cactus Sap, Savoroot, and Rockarrot! Their saddle can also be used to craft any type of ammunition or explosive crafted within the Smithy or Fabricator. Autremus are also useful for raiding, as they take 25% less damage from turrets and 15% less damage from all other sources (excluding wyvern breath attacks). While a saddle is not needed to ride them, their saddle allows them to take 35% less damage from explosions, although it does not affect their other damage reductions. They can also bust through Thatch and Wood structures in one hit, Stone in three hits, Adobe in five, Metal in seven, and Tek in nine. Keep in mind that Autremus becomes stunned for a gradually increasing amount of time based on the structure they hit, with the exception of Thatch and Wood. Bashing into Stone stuns them for six seconds, Adobe for ten seconds, Metal for fourteen, and Tek for eighteen, so it is advisable to bring extra Autremus in a raid. Autremus also create small dust clouds when three or more of them ram into another tame or player within 2 seconds of each other. These dust clouds function as a mini-sandstorm, slowing down the target for 10 seconds and swiftly draining their stamina. This ability has a 15-second cool down.

Species: Hippopotamus Gorgops Time: Late Pliocene Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Highly Aggressive Wild Hippopotamus gorgops much like it's modern day relative spends most of it's days wallowing in the oasis's of the desert and gorging itself on the local plantlife however also like the modern hippo it's one of the most dangerous and fearsome creatures for a survivor to go up against. Hippopotamus gorgops has one of the deadliest bites I have ever seen even putting creatures like the T-rex to shame as i've seen it split smaller creatures in 2 with a single bite and have even seen it crush boulders and even metal veins in it's jaws. The beast is also incredibly fast much like the dire bear it is able to slowly pick up speed as it runs going from a slow trot to an incredibly fast gallop. Domesticated it is near impossible to knock out a Hippopotamus gorgops using the standard Tranq method due to their incredibly thick hide and is also far too aggressive to simply passive tame the only method to tame the creature is to steal a baby Hippopotamus gorgops from it's mother and imprint on it the Hippo will then see you as it's parent and follow you to the ends of the earth. Once tamed Hippopotamus gorgops makes for one hell of a powerful mount with it's powerful jaws survivors can kill most creatures in a single bite or even cripple larger creatures it's bite can even be used to harvest Metal and stone with it's jaws able to break metal veins and boulders with ease. the creature is also a remarkable swimmer able to rival other amphibious mounts like the Spinosaurus in terms of power. The hippo also like it's modern relative produces sweat that protects them from Sunburn and prevents infections however to a much higher degree it actually causes Hippopotamus gorgops to heal rapidly while it is in extremely hot weather making it all the more deadly when faced during these extreme temperatures. the saddle designed for the creature also makes it a force to be reckoned with as it adds a cannon for a second rider to use making this beast essentially an amphibious tank. Abilities Powerful Bite This attack can be charged up by holding the left mouse increasing the damage the longer it's held Can harvest metal, Oil veins and stone by biting them has weight reduction for metal and stone similar to an argie During Hotter temperatures it gains a rapid healing buff this also causes it's skin to turn bright pink Healing Buff extends to the rider as well builds up movement speed over time similar to the dire bear Can Stealth pounce on smaller creatures from the water pulling them under using it's jaws Can grab smaller creatures in it's mouth chomping on them Saddle has a Tank like cannon on it allowing a second person to hop on and fire similar to the Tropeognathus Can harvest Meat, Hide, Keratin, Chitin and berries Can damage stone structures with it's charged up bite can Roar with C Does not lose oxygen underwater Weaknesses Has to build up speed over time so can struggle to get away from a tough fight at first Has a pretty poor turning radius Large Target so can be very easy to hit cannot fire the Tank cannon underwater takes extra damage from Turrets so cannot be used for turret soaking Weak to headshot damage Cannot be picked up by a Quetzel due to the creatures immense weight other misc stuff Can only be tamed by imprinting on a young Hippo similar to the real life Jessica the Hippo however the mother hippo and all nearby hippo will become highly aggressive if you so much as get near the baby hippo and will pursue you to the ends of the earth to get their child back Will be around the size of a Woolly Rhino Will only be found in the different Oasis areas in scorched earth near the obelisks Will be able to be used for either metal and stone farming or straight up combat depending on what the survivor wants similar to wyverns being used for either weight or combat

Common Name: Doedicurus Species: Doedicurus custosaxum Time: Plestiocene – Holocene Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Docile Wild: Doedicurus custosaxum is one of the island’s non-aggressive herbivores, generally found on mountains and grasslands. Large and well-armored, it has a supply of fat under its plates to keep it warm and fed in the cold. Doedicurus has adapted well to the dangers of the island, perhaps even better than the Ankylosaurus. Doedicurus has two very different reactions to predators. Against smaller foes, it generally uses its spiked tail to inflict as much damage as possible. Against larger predators, however, it pulls its tail underneath itself to form a solid armored ball that is nearly impossible for creatures to pierce. Domesticated: Doedicurus is a highly prized work animal on the island. Its spiked Tail is ideal for quickly shattering the large rocks, so Doedicurus is a very efficient quarry worker. And in case their quarry gets raided, Doedicurus-Riders have a very difficult-to-kill mount!-
