I tamed several Gigantoraptor babies and I put them to cryopods. After releasing 1) there is no Impriting bar in baby's inventory. 2) It shows only message Gigantoraptor wants care from me (Graviphoton) without any specific demand and E is not available. 3) Imprint item in circle menu is red. 4) Baby status sign above G. is red and blinking. When I allow cuddle for anyone I see demands I can care it shows percentage after doing the right thing but imprinting bar is still missing in inventory and after maturing there is no rider bonus. Like I am not the right player to raise it. I tried also SetImprintedPlayer command which enables text Raised by info in inventory but without enabling anyone can cuddle I still can't imprint it. And for adult Gigantoraptor I do not obtain riders bonus (Imprint Affinity). I saw in Syntac video he had no such problem. P.S. For hatched Argentavis or claimed Pachy's wild baby it works like usual.

I currently play on two different computers, desktop at home and laptop when I travel. My notes are not transferred between them when I swap from one to the other. Is anyone else having this issue? My cloud files are up to date and I haven't tried actually moving save files between them yet, I am not even sure which ones I would have to move if this were the issue.

1. The NEW AI Pathfinding is terrible the creatures can't follow in a straight line even when there are no obstacles in their way. 2. Boss fights the rexes refuse to stay focus on the Boss. Fighting the Broodmother and the rexes will ignore the brood to fight the small spiders. Even with whistle target the rexes seem to ignore their commands to focus on random little spiders. The AI is 10x worse than ASE I don't know why it is so bad. The AI needs serious fixing or revert to ASE atleast the boss creature did what they are told. These 2 things is a pain, this could be he difference between having a successful boss run or losing all your creatures and items because they AI is now CLUELESS. Needs serious work and retuning to get the creatures up to speed. They weren't perfect in ASE but I can't remember them being this BAD. Not even close!

so iv been constant crashing on my really good desktop pc since ASA launch, iv crash 428 times according to logs, i crash when starting the game, loading into servers with no mods/with mods, official/un-official servers, just being in very very small to no base to medium size base just walking around. iv tried changing all graphics settings high, medium and low, disable HLOD, off DLSS, off Nvidia reflex low latency, disable menu transitions, and turning off all video settings on asa and tried resolution 3840x2160, 2560x1440 and 1920x1080. iv updated windows to latest version, gpu drivers on latest update. iv tried cpu limit the game through task manager, with and with out battle, also maxing frame rate to 30 and 60 and tried full screen and windowed full screen. -also tried unistall and reinstall didnt fix, uninstall and manually deleting all files that are ark survival ascended hasnt worked. and my mid range laptop has no issue with this game at all, never crash or anything with the same settings as above. any help is very apricated thank you good desktop pc -i9 - 13900k 13th gen -RTX 4090 asus rog strix oc -64GB ram -game running on SSD my laptop -i7 - 11800H 11th gen -RTX 3070 -32GB ram -game running on SSD -resolution 1920x1080 and there has been times on the desktop i wouldn't crash for about 2-5 hrs and then as soon as i have a crash or i leave server and re-join ill start crashing constant as joining server (loading screen) or starting the game up i would crash

I think I speak for a lot of us by saying "DILO wc". I know cheating will always be an issue in online games especially those that are on pc, but come on you've had more than ample time to work out how to add an anti-cheat onto your win10 version of the game. False promises were made here on the pretext that a better anti-cheat system will arrive wit the launch of ASA but the fact cheat client were able to push out hacks day 2 of steam release and day 1 win10/xbox release is appalling. At least with steam battle-eye does something but the fact is the cheat devs on win10 only had a port over there already made hacks onto a new game is ridiculous, its lazy and sloppy to think that the problem plaguing ASE official wouldn't follow into ASA. Its sad to see how much the devs truly care for the pvp community there game has gathered, and its a shame to see it die so fast as well.

Hi all, I just bought ARK SA on Xbox, and I cannot play with my friend on Steam. Was I misinformed that this was supposed to be available at this point? We cannot find each other's servers listed in the non-dedicated servers list. I would also like to note that I am unable to join any of the official servers listed. It says connection timed out. Is it ever going to be possible to play on a private world with a non-dedicated server between Steam and Xbox?

In community crunch Studio Wildcard said want to synchronize the rates by mid-December. So I assume they will respect the date for server transfers... And about the boost to recover the time lost, I hope they will do it in the right way. XBOX have 18 days delay from Steam so should get 2x for 18 days. PS5, for example if get the launch on 26th November (with 30 days delay from Steam) should get 3x for 15 days to recover the 30 days lost. In this way we all be at the same level, and ready for server transfer in mid-December.

What is one of the most important factors for an online game? The popularity! Nobody wants to play in an empty online game, right? Well, let's start by saying that even before ASCENDED was announced, EVOLVED was already dead. ARK is a game that has population loss as a natural consequence, because half of the players that lose everything don't want to start from zero or don't have chances because it's hwrd for a new tribe to compete with the old ones. Another reason that made the game dead was the ever-increasing opening of new types of servers like SmallTribes and many others, that divided the population, making the official servers more and more dead. The novelty of the ASA announcement that excited many was the possibility of playing in complete crossplay, because the servers would be SUPER populated. But now, for fear of unbalanced games and PC cheats, Wildcard wants to create servers only for consoles and this way will divide the console community into 4 parts! (also considering SmallTribes Fullycrossplay and SmallTribes console-only crossplay) Console tribes are now confused. They don't know where to go to play. Full crossplay more populated but perhaps unbalanced and with cheats or just console less populated but more "safer"? This split is the worst thing Wildcard could do. With new servers we have a great opportunity to populate the pvp community and we are wasting it. 🔸 MY ADVICE IS THIS: set the console-only servers as if they are like servers of new maps you opened on EVOLVED. That is, with partially limited transfers. - Can transfer characters from full crossplay to console crossplay; - Can transfer characters from console crossplay to full crossplay; - Can transfer items from console crossplay to full crossplay; - CAN'T transfer items from full crossplay to console crossplay. In this way, anyone that decides to build a base on consolle-only crossplay (because they are afraid of unbalanced play and PC cheats) will still be able to have bases on fully crossplay servers too and in the future will be able to transfer everything from the console-only crossplay. To do full crossplay if the cheats are indeed fixed. Console-only servers cannot be attacked by the PC but as also PC players will not be disadvantaged by this situation: why would console-only players attack PC servers if they can't bring back their loot and items? And, PC players would still have significantly better dinosaur stats than console-only players. 🔸 Another idea is to eliminate SmallTribes to encourage players to find/create large tribes in the official. Or connect also SmallTribes servers with official servers (removing the 3x and leaving only the tribe member limit). In this way, whoever attacks those servers will only be able to do so by creating tribes of 6 players. In short, it's important to build a HUGE PvP community.

We need a setting that can be enable for passive creatures to be aggressive and carnivores to be EXTRA aggressive to add more survival to the game. Imagine on the beach everything in aggro range will attack you this would add to the survival. We also need the ability to boost WILD creatures Damage without affecting tame creatures stats when tamed. Also the game can use a HORDE MODE survival mode something like 7 Days To Die. We can set the timer to determine when the wave begins. Sort of like Extinction OSD Drops or Element vein waves but instead the WILD creatures comes to destroy your home-base. You have to fortify and be prepared to defend your base from Alphas including Alpha rexes alpha raptors alpha carnos gigas rexes theris challys and other regular creatures. The max tier in this mode is STONE sort of like primitive+. This means your base can be destroyed during a horde attack. Waves can be 3 days 5 days 7 days or 10 days, we can customize the waves and settings to our liking. This would make PVE essentially PVP but with AI's which would add tremendously value to the game. I can see ALOT of players choosing to play Horde Mode over other modes, especially someone who enjoys PVE and PVP but don't have time to play PVP or don't like the RISK that comes with PVP. In conclusion you would spend your week building fortifying and breeding super dinos to help defend your base during Horde Waves which would be set to 7 Days on official servers and custom on dedicated servers. I think a mode like this would inject NEW life into ark. This mode would be crowded so players who have less time to play and compete in the default pvp mode can get their fix in the Horde mode. I would love to see a Mode like this get added to the playlist. ASA needs NEW modes give players more things to do. PVE gets pretty boring once you are established, adding a horde mode would keep you on more engaged 7 days a week. You would get to enjoy the same PVE experience except every 7 days you have to defend yourself from the WILD. Also add a setting to determine how long before the waves end. Maybe something like 15 mins 20 mins 25 mins 30 mins. After completing a Horde Wave you get rewarded with XP, resources and items to AID in the rebuilding process to prep for the next EVENT. No CRYOPODS in this mode. This will ensure players don't hide their creatures. 300 Max creature limit *Customizable On Dedicated Servers* Essentially Horde mode with certain items removed or balanced. Knowing you will have to survive every week will keep you playing and if you have been grinding for months you wouldn't risk your hard work by missing a week. To conclude you are essentially enjoying PVE with PVP aspects without real players. This is a mode I think would shake up the entire ark universe. I really hope we can get the word out so we can get something like this added to the playlist. I know we have survival of the fittest but that is not the same thing not even close. This is regular PVE with 7 Days To Die horde like aspects. One last thing we need a setting to increase or decrease the range of aggro for creatures for the default PVE gameplay. This would also add more survival to the game because dinos would be able to aggro from longer distance. Imagine being at base doing something and a theri swipes you out of no where. The PVE aspects needs more SURVIVAL added game becomes too easy and is not challenging once you are established. Also add a setting to determine how strong the creatures are in Horde Mode. Maybe a difficulty settings for dedicated servers. Like Normal Hard Insane. This would let the player-host choose how much challenge they would like during gameplay. On official have 2 sets of servers Normal and Hard, Insane difficulty is only for dedicated servers. This would give US the players the option to choose how to play especially players who are very experienced.

Species: Hadrokirus Hydrostus Time: Late Miocene Diet: Carnivore/Piscivore Temperament: Relaxed/Predatory Any art or dossiers are welcomed. Hadrokirus should be a mid to late game tame. I think I’d be cool for it to spawn in a variety of locations. The Center is a watery map that has a lot of beach and artic places, feels like it just fits a seal. WILD Hearing barking or bellowing out on the glaciers or beaches of The Center is not uncommon, you’re around a pod of Hadrokirus. These giant seals rule the beaches and the coasts of the arctic. They can be seen in pods of 1 male and 4 females with babies scattered about. They are lumbering, a sight to behold with the males being the largest of the pod. They spend their time on land lounging, sleeping, and playing, even picking the player up before dropping them. But Hadrokirus must eat a lot to sustain their body fat. So, when entering the water, Hadrokirus becomes a super predator, attacking and eating anything within there, including humans. When encountering a pod of hunting Hadrokirus, one will go to the surface and let out a bellow that can be heard for miles, aggroing all Hadrokirus in the pod. They’ll rip you apart and pick you up (not playfully) and drown you. If the prey puts up more of a fight, the Hadrokirus will use its STEAM BREATH that melts flesh and boils whatever it’s attacking. TAMING Hadrokirus are docile on land but aggressive in water. One might think to feed it on land, but Hadrokirus isn’t hungry when on land and way too aggressive to hand feed in water. Tranqs don’t work as its blubber is too tough, however, you can use its playful and predatory behavior against it. Putting tamed Kairuku on passive flee will excite Hadrokirus as they love the chase and taste of Kairuku. Chasing, attacking and eating the Kairuku will slowly fill its taming, so you’ll need a lot of penguins. The longer the Kairuku lasts, the more taming you’ll get, so high heath Kairuku are essential. THE STEAM MACHINE Hadrokirus utilizes steam in its hunting and intimidation. Once tamed, the STEAM BREATH is a devastating weapon while also offering utility. Steam uses water, Hadrokirus must drink water to fill its bar, or you can manually give it water through water skins, jars, and canteens. The steam does a lot of damage, burning everything in front of it, and the steam can even damage the rider (if the saddle protects the player like the Andrewsarchus or Magmasaur, you’ll be fine). The steam will linger for 8 seconds and will do even more damage underwater, this takes a lot of water and stamina. STEAM ENGINE SADDLE Hadrokirus has a special saddle that acts as a fabricator but is much more expensive. Those willing to spend will be granted with a fully working steam engine that can convert water into power. Having the Hadrokirus saddle on and near electronics will power them like a generator. The water drains much slower than a generator and has much greater range. It even protects the player from the cold but not the heat. CORPSE DEBUFF When a Hadrokirus dies its body take days to weeks to decompose, and far away carnivores will sense it and make their way towards it. This might make a Hadrokirus corpse look like a hazard, but when a carnivore feeds, due to the fat, blubber, and nutrient rich meat, the carnivore will become full and turn neutral. This is Hadrokirus’ satisfaction debuff. To Rex, to Spino, to Allo, to Raptor, almost every wild carnivore will become neutral and not attack you (you can use this to trap\tame carnivores easier). If a human consumes the meat, they will gain increased health regen, weight, and fortitude. UTILITY AND COMBAT Hadrokirus are experts in digesting fish and Kairuku. Able to consume meat, bones, and skin while deposing of unwanted waste, like black pearls and blueprints. Kairuku = a small amount of black pearls. Fish = a chance of getting blueprints. Hadrokirus have decent carry weight and water speed, but horrible land speed. They are tough with thick blubber to resist bullets and bites, immune to any ice attack, and cannot be frozen. Their blubber gives insulation to everything in the area. Hadrokirus gain an excitement buff from killing penguins. The buff increases its organic polymer penguin harvesting, land speed, damage, and stamina by 30% while increasing the STEAM BREATH damage by 10%. Buff lasts for 2 minutes. ABILITIES · First button’s a basic bite that does good damage and does great damage to Kairuku. Holding the button down will pick up the target with a drag weight of 125 and lower (the titans have weirdly low drag weights so just ignore stuff like that). · Second button’s STEAM BREATH with high damage that hits through mounts and lingers, dealing more damage underwater. Any creature that takes no or reduced damage from fire takes no damage from this. · Third button’s a loud bellow that stuns small creatures and humans for 5 seconds. Larger creatures get their attack speed cut in half. It’s even louder and travels farther in the water. It’s on a 5-minute cool down but in between, Hadrokirus does an emote seal clap, *arf arf’s* and all. · Jump button’s a belly flop, dealing huge damage and knock back. VOTE FOR THE MEGA SEAL The sight of a pod of giant seals swimming across your starter base would be amazing, especially with the baby seals around. Here are some extra ideas I had but I’m unsure about and please give suggestions. · Being around the STEAM saddle will boost the speed of mechanical saddle users like Magmasaur, Andrewsarchus, Roll rat, and maybe Tek saddles. · The saddle can STEAM and boil food like an industrial cooker. -

I don't know if this post is in the right place, but here's the situation.. I bought a server through shockbyte. The server shows on there to be up and running, but when I go to Ark it isn't there. So I then found out I could download firezilla and use that, but that's not working either. I do not use Ark on Steam, I only use it on windows via gamepass. Can anyone help me with this? Am I going to be forced to buy Ark on Steam?
