  1. Introducing Irritator, The Stealth Spinosaurid Common name: Irritator Species: Irritator Aquafluctus Time: Early Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore / Piscivore Temperament: Opportunist Dossier: Wild: " While walking along the beach I had a surprising sight, an Irritator resting close to the shore, this spinosaurid easily identifiable by its crest and streamlined body is a fast and agile predator, adept at stealthy ambushes and quick pursuits. More than an ambusher the Irritator is an opportunistic specialist in taking advantage of the environment around him, which makes him secure his place near the top of the terrestrial and aquatic food chain. " Domesticated: " Taming an Irritator is not easy, however the tribes that have managed to tame this spinosaurid say it is worth the risk, those who manage to tame this creature are rewarded with a very versatile loyal semi-aquatic companion. With proper training your Irritator can be ridden on battle or used to cross bodies of water quickly, and thanks to its innate agility and impressive capabilities grant its rider the advantage in underwater combat, making it an invaluable mount for both underwater exploration and combat. " Introduction: Hello survivors, all quiet? I hope so, I present The Stealth Spinosaurid, The Irritator. The Irritator is a spinosaurid similar to Baryonyx, it would be a medium spinosaurid being smaller than Spinosaurus but larger than Baryonyx, the main idea is to be a versatile semiaquatic mount playing the role of marine exploration mount in PvE and stealth combat mount or combat support in PvP. Wild: The Irritator is mostly found on beaches and rivers where it spends most of its time resting or hunting. Face to face with a player the Irritator will act peacefully, but it's better not to let your guard down when you're close to him because the Irritator can even be a predator, but above all he's an opportunist and will attack you when you least expect. Like other carnivores, when seriously injured, the Irritator will not hesitate to run away, but before running away, the Irritator will emit a high-pitched roar that will make all nearby creatures angry, making them attack you and will take this opportunity to escape into the water. Taming process: To tame this spinosaurid, you must complete 2 steps: The first step is to drag a fish close to him, as soon as he eats the fish you must be quick and mount him, soon after you mount him he will run towards the water where he will dive in order to drown him. and if that doesn't work he will try to knock you off him and when he tries to do that you must feed him fish meat. As soon as you feed him, the second stage will begin where after he is fed he will calm down allowing you to guide him and when he does that you must hunt fish with him until he is tame. Tamed: Once you've tamed him you don't need a saddle to ride him, however his saddle will be much more useful for those who want to explore the oceans as his saddle has a built in scuba. Once tamed, the Irritator makes the perfect sea exploration mount, being an incredibly fast swimmer and having the strength to take on any sea creature that opposes you and your Irritator, plus out of the water the Irritator can store water in its throat that you can use to attack other creatures or to refresh you and your creatures by granting the hydrated effect to yourself and your allies. Saddle: The Irritator's saddle is unlocked at level 55 with his saddle the Irritator gains a new passive skill "Aqueous Ambush", in addition, the Irritator's saddle has a built-in scuba Description: The Irritator saddle is equipped with an advanced stealth technology that allows the rider to initiate a swift and stealthy aquatic ambush. When activated, the Irritator submerges itself and its rider in water, becoming nearly invisible to enemies above the surface. While submerged, the Irritator's movement speed is significantly increased, and its attacks deal bonus damage upon resurfacing for a surprise strike. Aqueous Ambush: Activation Cost: Moderate amount of stamina Cooldown: 90 seconds Duration: 10 seconds (submerged) The "Aqueous Ambush" ability offers a tactical advantage for hit-and-run tactics and ambushes. Players can use this ability to quickly close the gap between their target while hidden underwater, deliver a powerful strike, and then disappear back below the surface. This ability is particularly useful for surprising enemies, escaping dangerous situations, or dealing a devastating blow in PVP engagements. Effects: - Upon activation, the Irritator and its rider dive underwater, becoming nearly invisible from the surface. - The Irritator will be slowed down while using this skill. - Attacks performed while resurfacing have a bonus damage and inflict a brief disorienting effect on the target. Actions: Left Click: Venomous Bite, Irritators possess a venomous bite that inflicts not only immediate damage but also lingers, dealing continuous harm over time. Furthermore, their bites weaken the stamina of targets, reducing their ability to escape. Hold Right Click: Suction, Irritator uses its suction ability to store water in its throat and then spit it out at its enemies or its allies. (The more oxygen points it has the more water it can store) R: Sniper Mode (Similar to Velonasaur), in this mode the Left Click will now be a shot of a chargeable water projectile that deals damage if carried can cause stun and the Right Click becomes a water jet that deals damage to the player and the mount in addition to having a great knockback. X: Disorienting Screech, by emitting a piercing screech, Irritators can disorient and stun nearby enemies for a brief period, granting themselves and their allies a window of opportunity to strike. C : Tail Spin: The Irritator have a powerful tail spin attack that knocks back and deal damage enemies in a radius around it. This could be particularly effective for dealing with groups of smaller creatures. Ctrl: Fountain, Irritator will fire stored water upwards spraying water in a circular area granting the hydrate bonus to self and allies. (This ability grants the hydrated bonus even to creatures that don't normally have this effect, such as Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, and Tyranosaurus) Passive Skills: - Deals double damage against aquatic creatures such as mantas, plesiosaurus, dunkleosteus and megalodons. - Eating fish will give you increased health regeneration speed (Same as Argentavis buff when eating dead animals) - The more the Irritator runs the faster it will get (Same applies in water) - Has the hydrated effect (Same effect as Spino, Tropical Wyvern and Shadowmane) Increases damage, movement speed and health regeneration. - Irritator have a immunity to Cnidaria and Electrophorus stun. Utility & Scenarios: PvE: The Irritator in this scenario could play the role of a water mount, as it has a high speed of movement in the water and strength enough to face the dangers that the ocean has to offer, in addition its skills with water can help you on land thanks to its ability to hydrate itself with the water it stores in its throat. PvP: In this scenario the Irritator can play the role of Support for allied creatures since its ability to splash water in an area gives its allies the hydrated effect making them faster and cause more damage, besides that it can also serve as turret protecting your base with your water projectiles that can cause stun being excellent against flying creatures being able to knock them down making them subject to attacks on land.
  2. Species: Hippocampus Sarmaticus/Leviathan Time: Middle Miocene Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Here’s another attempt. I think The Center is a perfect map for this tame. The vast ocean, the underworld, all the air bubbles. I feel Ark's oceans need a bit of love. What better way than with a new mount. Seahorses are pretty cool looking as well as sea dragons, and who wouldn't want to ride around on one. A saddled mount of course They're like master ninjas, so this mount could have some sort of camo ability, maybe when they're within underwater vegetation. They could function similar to an underwater purlovia, and their first strike from being hidden could cause massive burst damage. Kinda like sneak damage. Because of this sneakyness, make all wild creatures non aggressive to it unless provoked. This includes the jellies. In fact, let's make this creature immune to jellies shock to have another mount to fight against them. Maybe even have cnidaria actively run away from them like the piranha does to the sarco. These could be the best biotoxin gatherers. (A sea slug pic, but the patterns and appendages look cool, and I invision this ark creature taking visual cues from it) Seahorses also are very tanky with their bone like ridges down their body. Instead of their body and tails being cylindrical, they're more square, thus able to take more damage and even be compressed and be able to bounce back unharmed. This means the ark creature could make for a very tanky mount with possibly even recoil damage. Add a good saddle for even more tanking. Seahorses also have great mobility, so it can control similar to an underwater Tapejara. This is a very interesting video below about Seahorses. Utility is a big thing the ocean needs too. With the males pouch, it could function as an underwater maewing, able to nurse or improve imprints. Maybe a player can use its pouch to be transported underwater and give oxygen. Again, immunity to jelly stings. They have these cool prehensile tails too. They can use this to latch onto different things underwater to stay put, and enter a sort of turret mode. We can use these prehensile tails to grab small to some medium sized creatures, which has a multitude of uses, but also make it able to pick players underwater from their mounts. To balance this, make it ridden only or something. These tails could have another purpose too. There aren't any underwater shoulder pets. Until they're grown, while they're still a baby/adolescent, they can use the tail to become a shoulder mount. Adding stun immunity or reduction, or adding armor and recoil damage to the player while assisting in battle with their attack/breath. The balance to this would be that it's temporary, until the baby reaches a certain size, then it auto dismounts. Killing cnidaria could make it grow faster, or feeding it biotoxin. It would speed up raising. You could ignore this mechanic to keep it smaller for longer to keep the shoulder benefits, because it's raise time could be long without using it. With all these positives, maybe give the creature lower stamina, or make it opposite of the bear. Super fast burst speed that eventually slows down. Same with dps. Stupid high burst speed dps, that slows a lot over time. The way I imagine it looking is some kind of Seahorse/Seadragon hybrid with some draconian features. This is ark afterall, and some dinos aren't 100% real world accurate, so we can spice this up a bit. https://www.google.com/search?q=sea+dragon&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwj_ttH9nMj8AhWTFmIAHQ8kBcAQ2-cCegQIABAC&oq=sea+dragon&gs_lcp=ChJtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1pbWcQAzIECCMQJzIKCAAQgAQQsQMQDTIECAAQQzIECAAQQzIECAAQQzoFCAAQgAQ6BAgAEAM6CAgAEIAEELEDOgsIABCABBCxAxCDAToHCAAQsQMQQ1CBCFjmJGC-KWgAcAB4AIABe4gBgAuSAQM2LjiYAQCgAQHAAQE&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-img&ei=WzzDY7-dA5OtiLMPj8iUgAw&bih=647&biw=412&client=ms-android-americamovil-us-revc#imgrc=t00DU5k3vLyQlM&imgdii=w_wkJPB5AToXmM Another cool option would be some kind of underwater breath attack. Bubbles that stun or slow so they can assassinate prey, or superheated water jet, but I'd like for them to have some sort of poison breath. It would go with the assassin theme. This poison would accumulate in its inventory similar to acatina, maybe increasing production for a time with cnidaria kills stacking. We could coat our weapons or even dino claws with the poison to give special debuffs and inreased damage per hit for a time. This would benefit high attack speed dinos a lot like the raptor, giving more use for its faster attack buff from its alpha call. I hope you all like and upvote.
  3. (This is basically a reuploading of my original idea from the Rag vote for the Phorusrhacidae family member, Titanis. I was originally going to leave Titanis dead in the water after the last vote but i decided to try again especially considering that Aberration is a much better map for it, especially with some of the abilities i had in mind.) Anybody remember Terror Birds? Kinda? All right so i think the Phorusrhacidae family needs a bit more love in ark and i think Aberration is the perfect map for it. Titanis might not be the most well known of the family but it was the largest estimated at 2.5 meters tall and being the first and so far only (according to not too extensive research) member of its family in north america. Being found in the area around Florida and Texas gave me the idea to make it like a giant heron instead of just being a bigger terror bird straight up. Wild: In game i would say they would stand about carno high maybe just a bit taller just because of their longer necks. They would be found mostly around the swamps, and rivers of Aberration motionless watching for fish and small water critters to scoop up and eat. Because of the nature of Aberration they've developed longer feathers with glowing bits to attract fish to them. (Think like a feathery glowtail tail, but coming off of there wings and dipping into the water or maybe off the back of its head. Visual only) Their long powerful legs would give them the ability to wade through all but the deepest of inland waters and said legs can deliver powerful kicks as well if approached in a predatory way. They would most likely ignore humans unless they got to close (im thinking around 3-4 foundations away) and would proceed to attempt to scare you off before wasting the energy to hunt you down. They are extremely fast when angered and only those with high enough stamina would be able to escape as the lose interest in larger targets fairly fast as they would rather not lose their territory to other Titanis. A cool Qol thing they would do in the wild would be squaring off to other Titanis of the same gender if they got to close with the lower leveled of the two running away to find new territory and the winner doing a victory which would give it an overconfidence buff which would make them easier to approach. They also appear to be Radiation immune as they've been spotted attempting to find prey in the element pools down below with no luck so far. Taming: I didnt want something to overly complicated for a taming method so why not something easy. Why not pull up a chair and go fishing with Titanis. When you set up a chair next to a Titanis near water they become very curious and approach you much like a sinoma does when you have chitin. After that just proceed with some good ole fishing and let your fellow angler keep the best of this bits. You keep the loot and they get the meat! The taming effectivenes doesnt plummet when not using a fish of a good size like with shadowmanes but rather is based on what kind of fish you manage to catch. Sabers would be kibble and piranhas would be lower with coels being the mid ground. Don't worry about getting attacked by some one the nasties that tend to live in the water either. While you fishing up some dinner for Titanis it will become extremely defensive of you scary off any would be attackers with a intimidation display that might make a giga think before it eats. (Obviously it wouldn't really work on a giga or carcha but would probably work as a yuty fear for creatures up to its size and more like a stun of sorts for larger creatures up to rex\spino height before the Titanis would rush at them in a frenzy to defend you. Don't worry it getting into fights isnt going to ruin its tame of effectiveness just watch out for possible death.) Tamed: Congrats! You now have a new fishing friend and a very versatile travel mount. Obviously your new buddy has a increased fish harvest multiplier but it doesn't just eat fish meat so don't worry about that. A downside of your new friend though is he isn't as good at getting prime as others would be but rather specializes in quantity. This means that with smaller fish he will harvest much more than any other creature would've because he essentially just swallows the fish whole. Offensive wise the Titanis is very similar to Terror Birds. Quick strikes with their beaks with lower damage but much faster attack speed. Think like a woodpecker but much better at fighting aquatic targets than cutting through trees. The long legs are much better suited for outright combat than its beak however delivering powerful kicks and scratches that lack the same speed. But the way Titanis fights is much different compared to other creatures. While mounted your Titanis will always face whatever target you happen to be fighting. No getting stuck with a creature behind you biting at your tail feathers. Titanis will not enter this mode when engaged with multiple foes at once as it leaves it much more open for an attack. Another interesting ability of Titanis is how it moves about on land. Unlike its smaller Terror Bird cousin, they can't pull of a glide. It compensates for this by being a bit of a parkour master. By running up to obstacles and jumping at the right time your Titanis will grab the wall and push off essentially doing a double jump almost reaching procoptodon jump heights. Thankfully these same powerful legs also prevent too much fall damage on the off chance the jump on the other side doesn't go so well. Pvp players can potentially use this so scale base wall and get so some bases that might be a bit harder to approach on fliers, especially if a more stealthy approach is required. This leads into Titanis other ability. Being super sneaky. While riding your Titanis you can enter a crouch walk mode where TItanis will bring its neck back to cover you on its back, lower its self a bit on its legs and slowly (and i mean SLOWLY) walk forward. While in this stance Titanis has omnidirectional movement similar to the ark additions Deinotherium and its detection range becomes almost miniscule, preventing parasaur from alerting to their presence and even being able to get much closer to turrets before being spotted. The downside being that you are extremely vulnerable to player fire since your such a slow moving target. However this doesn't mean Titanis is completely screwed. It can enter a super speed ambush when sprinting out of this mode increasing movement speed by double for 10 secs and increasing attack speed by half for 5 secs, making for a quick getaway or finishing off a would be snitch. Back to the PvE side of things Titanis has a more unique interaction with water than most tames in ark. It doesn't like to go under the water as its not the most graceful of swimmers. So instead Titanis goes for the pelagornis route. When encountering water that they can no longer stand if your buddy will bring its legs up and swim on the top of the water. You can fish off its back and the range for a successful reel in is much farther since your new friend will grab the fish when it get close enough. Also due to its sneaky ambush nature and long legs, the Titanis takes very light steps meaning that even without charge or glow pets you have a very low chance of encountering nameless even in some of the more dangerous zones. This does also work against reapers however it just makes the aggro range much smaller. Titanis have a special saddle with what appears to be two empty spaces on each side. What could they be for? Well because the creature has no natural charge light survivors have decided to give it some of there's. That's right, Titanis saddles has slots for two, count em, TWO charge lanterns. Able to be activated remotely from atop the bird the basically act like headlights in front of the bird to help it in combat against nameless and to give it a better chance of surviving potential reaper encounters. Keeping a charge pet on your shoulder is an okay way to keep the lights on but it would drain your pets light much faster than is viable. So instead it pulls charge directly from batteries in its inventory at a much slower rate than using a charge lantern in hand. You can also stop at charge stations for a quick recharge of the lanterns themselves or a plant species Z with much less charge being obtained. Quick summary: Basically Titanis would be a Mid-Late game mount equivalent to a Carno or Bary. A fast travel mount, decent battler, and great fishing companion. Its beak attacks deal low damage to most targets but increased damage to fish and creature smaller than Moschops. It would get an argy style heal from eating the bodies of small creatures and a doubled heal if it eats a fish corpse. Its kicks deal higher damage with the drawback of slower attack speed. A kick on smaller creatures while leave them with a trike charge like stun and on larger creatures a small bleed nothing compared to deinos or thylas. Moves about as fast as a gallimimus. Able to double jump off walls and other obstacles making it a perfect mount for exploring Aberrations smaller cliffs and the blue zone. Spots for charge lanterns on saddle that ct like headlights. Can be recharged fully from batteries in inventory or small amounts from charge stations, plant species Z, and light pets. Able to sneak around enemies and move in much closer before being spotted by creatures A.I. Also lowers aggro range of nameless to almost zero and reapers to half. Able to fish off of them with easier success rates. Better at getting larger amounts of fish meat rather than better cuts of fish. A rivalry buff with Titanis of the same gender and with barys. (Direct competition for fish meat) Immune to bary stun and cant get stunlocked by cnidaria but can still be stunned. (About 5 second timer in between to at least give you a chance to get away). Immune to Radiation. Also because i think almost all the creatures in ark should have a taunt/roar/sound they make, a ctrl roar akin to a shoebill clicking its beak or a loon type sound (like that supposed spino sound that's been making rounds on social media recently). And that's basically it. I welcome any ideas you all might have and any changes you think i should make. I doubt ill make it far in this vote but I've had this idea for a while and i figured i might as well get it out there. Attached image is kind of close to what i picture it looking like in game with more pronounced feathers around the head and "wings" and a bit more stork\heron type of beak but still looking like a Phorusrhacidae beak. Also ive attached an image of the kind of idea for the glow feathers it could have based off the tail feathers of the Elegant Coralbird from Monster Hunter World.
  4. ^All Art is done by Lapis Lazuli and Dossier is edited by Mihael Common Name :Majungasaurus Species : Majungasaurus absconditus Time : Late Cretaceous Diet : Carnivorous Temperament :Opportunistic WILD: Majungasaurus absconditus is quite the interesting theropod. While most of the creatures of the ark look different to their real life counterparts, majungasaurus seems to have evolved to fit into a new niche in the arks ecosystem. It seems to have adapted many traits from modern day chameleons including the ability to change their skin color to camouflage into their surroundings. Many survivors often talk about how they feel like there's something always watching them just from the treeline out of sight and from my studies I believe that majungasaurus may be the culprit. They seem to have a higher intelligence than most creatures on the ark and are very curious by nature. Domesticated: A tamed majungasaurus however is a scientist's best friend. These creatures can be used to sneak up on and study even the most dangerous of animals and can even help find certain desired traits in wild creatures. And for those who would rather venture out on their own, some survivors have figured out how to modify their armor with the shedded scales of majungasaurus to give them limited camouflage. Taming: To tame a majungasaurus you must gain its trust by crafting structures and other trinkets to appease its curiosity. The higher quality item the less taming effectiveness is lost. Taming 2: To tame a majungasaurus you must gain its trust by feeding into its cannibalistic tendencies. You must kill and bring other majungasaurus to the target majunga Stat Reading: While camouflaged on a majunga you are able to sneak up on unsuspecting creatures. If you're able to get close enough your majunga will be able to act like a primitive HLNA from the genesis maps and read out the base stats of said creature. Camouflage Armor: As the majunga sheds its skin, survivors will be able to gather leftover scales and apply it to their armor to gain the majungas ability to camouflage. However unlike majunga survivors will only be able to camouflage while standing completely still. Combat: The majunga isn't really much of a fighter so it only has a basic bite attack that does around the same damage as a carno. Size: The Majunga would be around the size of Megalosaurus ingame which would allow it to be a new caving creature since we haven't gotten anything capable of caving in a long time. Suggestions from Replies: Getting a buff when eating another Majunga Eat other tamed Majungas when it gets low on hunger Main Attack does bonus damage if used while invisible (brings majunga out of invisibility)
  5. i find a nice submission from the Fjördur vote from PuutyCuuty and will post it her again Species: Hippocampus Sarmaticus/Leviathan Time: Middle Miocene Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive I feel Ark's oceans need a bit of love. Another cool option would be some kind of underwater breath attack. 6. Note: This creature was previously listed under the name of its currently living relative draco volans, which is so much easier to say. But the rules state it has to be a real but extinct creature. So here you are. Coelurosauravus elivensis looks like a tiny winged glowtail, about 8" in size. It is a warming shield that makes you invisible to wild dinos. This little carnivore spawns where sulfur is found, and is passively tamed with cactus sap or (less effectively) sulfur or raw meat; similar to the way sinomacrops are tamed. Once tamed, pick up Coelurosauravus elivensis and it goes into your inventory shield slot (so you can also have a shoulder pet). Visually, it holds onto your shield arm, wrapping its little arms and legs around your arm and resting its head on the back of your hand. (It peeks at you when you raise your arm to look at your implant.) Primarily, this tiny wyvern acts like a full ghillie suit + cactus broth + bug repellent + invisibility ala rock drake, shadowmane, or pachyrhino. It makes you completely undetectable to all dinos, unless you touch or hit them. Pegos will ignore you; sea gulls can't see you anymore. Monkeys won't spook. Cave adventures are a walk in the park, as long as you watch your step! Secondly, if you put sulfur in the "elf dragon's" inventory, it will start to glow and be able to breathe fire. The glow provides a source of light similar to a light pet. The internal fire creates a passive source of warmth equal to a campfire. It can also defend you, burning any attackers who hit you. It is breedable, usually laying 2-4 eggs with one breeding. In summary, the Coelurosauravus elivensis is a Bob's best friend. It's a living torch/invisibility shield that uses the inventory shield slot (keeping the hand and shoulder free). Note: The real Coelurosauravus elivensis were only a few inches long and could only glide, rather than fly. pic from https://www.popsci.com/science/first-flying-reptiles-dragons/

  8. Vishnuictis Species: Vishnuictis gracilis Time: Pliocene - Pleistocene Diet: Carni/Omnivore Temperament: Territorial Wild: Commonly found on plains of Ragnarok, Vishnuictis is large carnivore/omnivore that is mainly nocturnal. Probably for the purpose of avoiding large theropods. Also lots of animals seem to be repelled by its strong scent. After all my observations, I think it is some kind of large civet. It's all fluffy and cute, but be alert - don't get too close, cause it tends to be aggressive towards survivors. I thought I could scare it with fire, similar to some other mammal predators, but it didn't seem bothered, more like it was interested in my torch. And even let me pet his back! Domesticated: Some northern Tribes of Ragnarok say that Vishnuictis was born for war. They use armored saddles to ride them into battles. Other survivors found its very good, keen smell useful when finding strong animals. I even drank a beverage from (and now don't be disgusted) the berries from its feces. It was not very tasty, but I felt filled with energy afterwards, like I could run for miles and not be tired. Maybe it has something to do with its good endurance on long distance travels, where it really shines, in my opinion. Abilities: Bite/Claw attack (L click/R click) Scent dispersion - Vishnuictis will start to leave a trail of scent behind him. The scent will hover there for some time and will repel wild or other tribes' creatures away from your location. (on C) Sniffing - Vishnuictis sniff the air, and mark high level creatures for you (on X) “Coffee brew” - If you feed Vishnuictis tintoberry, it will produce a unique kind of feces you can then use to craft a special brew (in a crock pot or cooker ) that will give you a small speed boost buff. Taming method: As the dossier description suggests, you need to approach Vishnuictis with a source of fire, during night. It would come closer to you and let you pet it. Then you can feed it specific items because it is a very picky eater (similar to Moschops). Treats suggestions: honey, beer, wyvern milk, citronal or veggie cake After that, you can equip it with an armored or light, more stealthy saddle. Armored saddle would give you and your Vishnuictis better protection, whereas the Light saddle would act like a ghillie.

  10. introducing the ark most hated dinosaur's: raptors "Orkoraptor" Name: orkoraptor Species: megaraptoran theropod Time: Cretaceous Period Diet: carnivore Temper: aggressive *Shadow mode: Introduction: Let's take a look at the Orkoraptor the improved rex/ Yutyrannus Main idea and function of this new creature is to have a raptor that's relevant in the end game, ideas such as: - camouflage - a Shadow mode for a last resort - catch bite for different size of Dino's - a roar to remove all buffs from enemy and debuffs for allies. - bleed damage and torpor attacks - able to track down carnivores from a high distance and players from a medium distance in camouflage mode. -able to grab most flyers with his charged bite ... wild: Wild orkoraptor most of the times is hidden waiting for the opportunity to strike down his enemies, his ability to camouflage makes it near impossible to see, hear, or track down. Most of the time found roaming the volcanic area slaughtering mantis and fighting other rexes. Taming process: To tame this dangerous creature you'll need to have some preparation, a tamed Parasaur to detect the orkoraptor if needed because it will turn invisible the moment it spots you and stay like that until he lost interest in you.if you fully prepared then you'll need to force the creature into his shadow mode and surviving it without him losing aggression on you, and after shadow mode is done you'll need to feed it tames ,Parasaur being the best feed followed by his enemy the rexes. Feeding it will not fully heal it but it will heal overtime and you'll need to tame it before his health is maxed or you'll start losing taming effectiveness overtime. If not feed for a certain time it will turn wild again and start attacking you. *Outside of shadow mode: tamed: -complete camouflage until stamina is drained even if attacked or attacking. -the ability to pin down medium size Dino's such as a trike to the ground with the mouth while dealing bleed damage ( stacking bleed as long as the dino is pinned) -normal bite attacks stack until the meter is full to lunch a strong bite attack catching the enemy from different areas for 2 seconds depending of the size, making them unable to move for 5 seconds. Small Dino's from the back dealing very high damage. Medium size Dino's from the face dealing a toxic attack increasing torpor Big Dino's such as a T-Rex from the neck dealing bleed damage The charged bite against Some flyers will put them down to the ground with a stun effect. - after the orkoraptor gets to 5% health he enters a Shadow mode: gaining double attack speed, normal bites deal bleed damage and unable to receive damage for 15 second's, but unable to attack and receive double damage after shadow mode is finished unless it's healed up to 25% health - ability to roar outside of camouflage mode removing all buffs and debuffs from self and nearby tames. - in camouflage mode the creature is soundless to the enemy or wild Dino's. -the ability to track down other rivals such as rexes from a high distance making them able to plan an attack carefully and other players from a mediocre distance while in camouflage mode. utilities: - This creature is single handedly able to track down and make the life of other players a living hell, with his ability to camouflage and track down other players and their tames, exploring in pvp will never be the same. Will this force everyone to have a spare Parasaur while in the wilds? - his pen ability makes it very hard to deal with, you'll never know when you'll be pinned until you're in the ground. ( Jump scares?) Not suitable for the weak hearts. -even if you manage to beat it down to low health, you'll better have a tanky creature or his shadow mode will finish the job. Don't get close and shoot from afar , if you're able to see it . Conclusion: just a fun horror dealing raptor to change to mood of just bite bite bite and die normality of ark, could be very fun to try something new like this.
