(living turret tower) Introducing Dreadnoughtus, the Terrestrial Battleship! Tags: sauropod, apex, herbivore, siege, artillery, late game, customizable saddle, maintenance, TEK disabler, OSDs, titan fights Art by RiskyBiscuits Commissioned by Tweee (thanks again!) (BACK FROM RAGNAROK NOW WITH CUSTOM ARTWORK AND UPDATED ABILITIES!) DISCLAIMER: PLEASE read through the entire submission before voting for this creature, since there may be mechanics and features you might miss if you vote on design alone. I also encourage you to do this for every other submission you see as well, so you can make a truly educated vote for what you would actually like to see in the game. If you have any feedback or ideas, leave a comment and I will address it (a Q&A is at the bottom of the post). @dynastyofdragons, @riskybiscuits0485, @sp_ce, @tweee, @grymmlee Common Name: Dreadnoughtus Species: Dreadnoughtus maximus Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Territorial Wild: “Dreadnoughtus maximus is the undisputed emperor of the wasteland, towering over everything except for the very titans themselves. While they pay no mind to those beneath them, they are incredibly hostile towards other large creatures, including other Dreadnoughtus. The adrenaline coursing through their veins in the presence of a potential threat increases their physical strength and pain resistance to an astonishing degree. To handle creatures with ties to element, it has developed the ability to absorb the kinetic energy of their attacks and convert it into an elemental pulse that weakens corruption and even disables TEK for a period of time.” Domesticated: “When they aren’t harassing other creatures, Dreadnoughtus engage in a series of daily rituals, the order of which depends on the individual. If a survivor manages to assist them with even the most minute of tasks, they may gain their trust. A Dreadnoughtus is an utter war beast when tamed. It can be fitted with a special saddle, allowing for the attachment of up to five heavy artillery weapons, along with a harpoon located on the chest designed to pierce into and reel in opponents. The dinosaur itself can be a living weapon, regurgitating acid-covered cannonballs stored in its stomach at high velocity. However, I have a word of caution for any who plan on taming one of these giants. If their needs are neglected by their masters, they will eventually throw a cataclysmic temper tantrum.” Dreadnoughtus was downsized from its original proposed size because I feel the Titanosaur should still be the largest dinosaur in the game off of its name alone, and that I (and many others) think it looks better. Art by @NeonLaboratory, Comissioned by @AgentSparkle, Feat. Captain Hannah (@hannahhvtuber) Tamed: Actions: Primary Attack (, , ): Looking Straight, Left, or Right: A long and wide neck sweep that deals high damage and high knockback to creatures in front of it. Looking Down: A fast stomp attack that deals high damage but has little knockback. Looking Up: A fast upward neck sweep that deals little damage but knocks aerial targets far. Looking Behind: A long and wide tail swipe that deals high damage and high knockback to creatures behind it. Secondary Attack (, , ): Cannonballs and Food is used as ammo for this attack. The Dreadnoughtus vomits out one of the cannonballs in its stomach, with the ball drenched in stomach acid. The more the attack is charged, the faster the shot is fired and the more damage is dealt. This shot has the properties of a normal cannonball with an added acid effect akin to the Reaper’s Acidic Blood! status effect. Roar (C, , ): A bellowing roar that causes the Dreadnoughtus’ neck spines to glow. When taking damage, you build a meter. After the roar animation plays, the sauropod will release an AOE EMP in the area in front of it, dealing damage, weakening Corrupted creatures, and disabling TEK for a duration, all of which are scaled by the amount of damage received. For those concerned about the TEK disable, imagine a disable of 5 seconds tops. The roar goes on cooldown for 120 seconds. However, the roar is strictly cosmetic if not having taken any damage at all. Tertiary Attack (Space, , ): The front of the Dreadnoughtus’ saddle has a harpoon that fires out of the chest area. It pierces into creatures of all sizes for massive damage, and holding this attack will pull them towards the Dreadnoughtus. The size and weight of the creature determines the pull speed, and the creature must escape by continuously attacking. Sleeping Animation: Like a Shadowmane or Megalosaurus, the Dreadnoughtus has a sleeping animation that can be toggled when off of its back. Passive Abilities: Giantslayer: Dreadnoughtus gain a damage and defense buff in the presence of the following creatures: Astrocetus, Brontosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, Diplodocus, Giganotosaurus, Gigantoraptor, Paraceratherium, Quetzal, Reaper (King and Queen), Rex, Rock Golem, Spino, Titanosaur, Magmasaur, Megachelon, Wyvern (all types) All Bosses (only Titans matter except for maybe SOTF since you can’t take them into arenas) ARK Additions: Acrocanthosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Deinosuchus, Deinotherium Gathering: Berries and fiber are gathered fairly decently. Wood and minerals are what it is more proficient at, however. What makes it all worth it is their incredibly high weight stat, even compared to similar sized creatures. It would be the best option in the game if it weren’t for its massive size preventing it from entering many areas. Marine Traversal: Dreadnoughtus can turn into a literal dreadnaught. It swims better than most creatures of its size, with many of its attacks and weapons intact. Like an Andrewsarchus, it can also sink and walk along the seafloor. A decently high oxygen stat allows them to sit below water for a long period of time. Heavy Artillery Saddle: The saddle of a Dreadnoughtus is unique due to its sheer customizability. There are a total of 5 equipment slots in the saddle. Turrets, ballistas, or cannons can be equipped. Cannons and ballistas are controlled manually, while turrets require gasoline in the dinosaur’s inventory to help fuel the saddle’s personal generator. 2 siege weapons on the neck, 2 on the shoulders, and 1 on the rump. Located on the chest is the previously mentioned drill-spear harpoon that resembles Monster Hunter’s Dragonator that is used directly by the driver. All riders are vulnerable except for the driver, protected in a car-like section of the saddle. Saddle References: ⚠ Maintenance ⚠: Dreadnoughtus are high maintenance creatures as mentioned earlier. This means providing constant care and attending to the dinosaur’s needs. If left ignored, the sauropod’s health will deteriorate, and its Health & Stamina Regeneration Rates will be reduced. Dreadnoughtus will actively rampage and destroy your base if it is neglected long enough. While it can be kept in a cryopod, its rage will increase the longer it remains in the cryopod. Sending it out won’t immediately trigger the rampage, but the next instance of ignoring its needs will do the trick. This is also only active when the tribe is online, so you don’t have to worry about waking up at 4:00 in the morning to take care of it. It is not meant to be an absolute drag on ARK players' lives and turning them into no-lifers, so imagine attending to its needs every couple of hours. It is not constant nor designed to be as punishing as a lot of players may think. Utility & Scenarios: PvE: Dreadnoughtus are specialized Titan killers through and through. Their fantastic stats in combination with their abilities and tools makes them great for Extinction’s boss fights, especially if an army of them are bred in the same manner Gigas typically are. They reduce the challenge of higher level OSDs and Element Vein runs, since their Giantslayer buff activates in the presence of Corrupted versions of particular creatures. On top of that, their EMP roar weakens Corrupted creatures, allowing for even more ease of completion. These sauropods may also find niches as actual sea-faring dreadnoughts or as gatherers of rare minerals, though that isn’t necessarily their primary purpose. Managing a Dreadnoughtus’ health is key for hostile confrontations, or you might find yourself on the other end of that neck. PvP: Now this is what Dreadnoughtus are designed to do. They find themselves at the top of the meta-game’s food chain, alongside the Giga and Carcha. Stats, abilities, and tools once again are incredibly useful in battles. Having survivors man multiple siege weapons mounted on the saddles turns the Dreadnoughtus into an almost unstoppable and completely destructive force. With enough turrets, ammo, and fuel, it may even become a mobile turret tower that guns things down before they even approach it. It’s terrifying in tandem with their ability to disable TEK. Their size is just about as big of a strength as it is a weakness, since it is a large target and has a hard time fighting in more claustrophobic spaces. Wild: The Dreadnoughtus is a rare spawn in the Wasteland, appearing in virtually any open space large enough for its sheer mass. Creatures the size of or larger than a Rex will attract its attention and it will aggro onto said creatures. They generally pay no mind to survivors and their tames unless they surpass the size threshold. Taming Process: The Dreadnoughtus is a massive animal that is incredibly high maintenance. They each have unique daily routines survivors can learn and adapt to accordingly. Helping a Dreadnoughtus go about their activities will develop trust and friendship between the survivors and the dinosaur. These activities include: Feeding: Feed the Dreadnoughtus vegetables or kibble. Toss a cannonball on the ground as a lure, getting the dinosaur to lower its head thinking it's a gastrolith. Then, you can feed it directly at its head. Playing: Help the Dreadnoughtus kill other dinosaurs and break structures in its territory until it is satisfied. Bathing: Clean the Dreadnoughtus of filth and parasites by using soap on its body. Sleeping: Protect the Dreadnoughtus as hordes of wild dinosaurs attempt to attack it. Enough damage from wild creatures will force the Dreadnoughtus to wake up and reduce taming effectiveness. Dreadnoughtus activities and needs rotate occasionally similar to a Moschops’ diet. Keep helping the dinosaur out until it completely trusts you. Conclusion: I personally think this concept for Dreadnoughtus would work well in the game, as a massive siege weapon that can tear through just about anything in its path. It would be one of the most powerful creatures a tribe could have except for the Titanosaur and Titans themselves, tying with the Giga and Carcha in strength. With the idea I have in mind, it would also be one of the more immersive creatures with a few of its mechanics. On Extinction specifically, the idea of a giant mobile creature with a Mad Max-style saddle fits well with the post-apocalyptic landscape. Overall, it is a fairly unique and absurd concept I’d love to see enter the game and act as the final send off to the unique and absurd original storyline of ARK. Have fun, survivors! ADDRESSING COMMENTS & CONCERNS: Q: Isn’t this just a glorified Titanosaur TLC? A: Some people have stated that Dreadnoughtus is a Titanosaur TLC, which I can see. It’s designed more to be its own creature, focusing on being a ranged attacker with its long neck and artillery, as opposed to the more brutish nature of the Titanosaur and Ark Addition’s Brachiosaurus. Titanosaurs also don’t spawn on Extinction, so Dreadnoughtus taking its place here doesn’t actively conflict with it the same way Carchar conflicts with the Giga. Q: Is it breedable? A: I think whether it's breedable or not is really up to Wildcard. Personally, I would say YES to it being breedable, but it being a pain to raise. Giganotosaurus maturation time from Baby to Adult is 10 days on official settings, so expect about 20 days up to a Month with a Dreadnoughtus on Official Settings. Might seem like a long time, but this is a Titanosaur-level creature, so gotta keep it balanced. Q: Don’t we already have enough sauropods? A: I agree the roster of sauropods is large, nearing theropod level. However, the majority of them are in an unusable state and are in dire need of a TLC. Q: This is just another “OP APEX GIGA KILLER!!!”, right? A: No, or not really. Dreadnoughtus is more designed to tackle the OSDs, Element Veins, and Titan boss fights on Extinction than to be a direct counter to Gigas and Carchars. That being said, the buff against creatures larger than a Rex does provide a unique advantage over the kings of PvP. In terms of its strength, the maintenance mechanic is built in as a drawback to prevent people using this creature so willy nilly. Q: Is the saddle the gimmick? A: I’ve heard people have concerns over when the gimmick of a particular submission is tied more to the saddle than the creature itself. The reason why the saddle plays a huge role in this Dreadnoughtus concept is to play on its name with “dreadnaught”, a type of battleship. With that in mind, why not make the saddle akin to a big gun ship? Isn’t that badass?! I also felt with a more “Mad Max” aesthetic, the saddle would fit just nicely onto Extinction, which itself is a wasteland. Q: What about PVE? A: I will not lie, Dreadnoughtus is a PvP focused tame. However, these same traits carry over to Extinction’s OSDs, Element Veins, and Titans like stated earlier. On top of that, it can be quite a good gatherer with its rate of collection and high weight stat. Q: Is it a temporary or permanent tame? A: Unlike the Titanosaur, Dreadnoughtus is not a temporary tame. Once you've tamed it, you'll keep it forever. HOWEVER, you have to keep track of its needs and desires through the Maintenance mechanic, meaning you'll need to feed it, bathe it, or let it sleep some. If you don't do what it asks of you, than it will go on a rampage and destroy everything in sight. It's a permanent tame with a huge drawback that balances out it's impressive strength.

Good Think of a dino that would look good in extinction and that would match the corrupt dinos the drops and the way of playing on the map and I think you might end up liking how it turned out I hope it gets chosen at least among the top 10 finalists and I did Patagotitan more for the theme that I think it would be cool for him to receive the power of the titans, which he will help to face and take the titan's soul. Elena: When I saw the Patagotitano for the first time, I was scared by its size, I confused it with the titanosaurus, but looking closer, I realized that it was peaceful, I was interested in this species, I had never seen it before, I went to observe its way of life , he was a vegetarian he ate plants and fruits they lived peacefully and to my surprise they lived in pairs, due to their size I thought they were solitary, but there was something that bothered me about that animal and that even captivated me, one day when I was looking at him hiding I felt a presence behind me I turned around and there was a gigacorrupto who noticed me far away from me desperate without thinking straight I ran towards Patagotitano at that moment he surprised me he didn't run to run away, he stood still towards the gigacorrupto to face him and I watched the fight thinking that the Patagotitano wouldn't have a chance against an animal as powerful as the gigacorrupto, and the fight lasted, it took a long time to finish but I couldn't take my eyes off or blink I was so impressed, and soon his partner appeared to help him in the fight, and after a long time they ended up winning, I was enchanted with this creature and the days spent observing their behavior, they are calm with all other animals even with carnivores not even the fearless rex has the courage to face him lo and behold , but when he sees a corrupt animal he has no mercy and goes up to eliminate his corruption and kill a creature, and I thought why the Patagotitan is so furious with corruption and I found many paintings on the walls very old drawings on the stones, which portrayed a bunch of patagotitans who were being consumed by corruption and those who could not resist became Patagotitancorruptos and those who managed to survive and resist corruption had a change they were born with anger at the element and corruption and went to face their peers who were no longer them and with such a struggle great that there was the same species of those who managed to resist and overcome the corruption of the element gained new power to face the corruption and see the survivors who end up overcoming the corruption as allies and are not aggressive towards them. How to tame: Take a ration, it can be of any quality and he will see you and he will not attack you and when you give him the ration he will be able to put it in the basic saddle without the platform one and when you get it in the saddle you will have to get out of the saddle saddle and go up to his head to pet him and let him sniff you to recognize the survivor and when you're done he'll be tamed. Tamed: He can have pups with a small interval to have pups and the pups will grow faster than the giga pups, despite the size the pups grow fast, and there is a duel if one of your Patagotitans has a titan soul and you want to trade if your cub was born better than the father and you want to change it you will have to sacrifice it to give power to the cub but the cub has to be an adult to accept the soul of the titan of the ice or the forest or the desert Abilities: It will stand on two legs and hit the ground very hard with its weight and it will deal a lot of damage and the area it hits will gain speed. There will be the titan's rage, he will fall to the ground and scream and all allies around him will gain a buff against corrupt dinosaurs, they will deal 50% more damage and take 50% less damage. He usually swipes with his paw to deal good damage. Passive: He takes 50% less damage from giga and carcha and the 3 titans and deals 50% more damage to corrupt titans and dinosaurs. If they are close to the drops they receive 50% less damage and have a 50% chance to drop more items, but this does not increase the rarity. (Saddles here where he will shine) Saddle him in total will have 5 different saddles, 1 without platform, 2 with platform, now of the 3 saddles he can only defeat the titans and he will win the soul of the titans with the forest titan he gains the power of the forest, titan of ice, he gains ice power, and desert titan, he gains lightning power, he can only have 1 titan power, you can have multiple patagotitan, but when you get 1 titan power, you will not be able to switch. Basic saddles: There will be 2 basic saddles, the normal one and the platform one, but on the platform the survivor will be able to build as many structures as he wants, and there will be a distance limit, for example, make several straight lines to enter the enemy base with c4, he will not you will be able to go further, but within the area you can build on the platform there may be structures to make a mobile base without any problems. Forest titan's saddle: He gains the forest titan's power the saddle turns into vines and tree veins disappearing any metal that is on the platform and gains the forest's power which he can build some titanic structures more powerful than metal and you create spikes bigger than normal make a dome with an entrance that fits him and the survivor and you can cover this dome with spikes to protect from corrupt dinosaurs and enemy dinosaurs and you can build this dome in various shapes like a normal dome and a square dome, which will need wood in the building inventory. Passive: inside the dome if the patagotitan is close to the dome heals any dinosaur that enters it and takes 50% less damage. Ice titan's saddle: He will gain the power of the ice titan, his platform saddle will break, there will be no metal left, and it will transform into the true ice saddle of the platform, and gain the true power of the ice blizzard, around him there will be an aura which will spin the blizzard, dealing damage to enemies and slowing down and not causing damage to allies, being able to release the titan's ice ball that will be almost the same size as the titan, freezing enemies for a while. Passive Ice Titan: Any temperature around you is freezing. and takes 50% less cold damage.] Desert titan saddle: He will gain the power of the desert titan the lord of lightning, his saddle will turn into the titan stone and gain the power of lightning will be able to aim at a location and release a ray from the sky and the place where you The obtained beam will be electrified for 10s and you can use it every 30s. Passive: 50% less electrical damage he takes.

⭐Austroposeidon elementar⭐, ❗Extinction's variable giant❗
cart400 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
General description(Common form): The Austroposeidon elementar is one of the most extraordinary creatures that inhabit the Extinction map in the world of ARK: Survival Ascended. This gigantic herbivorous creature belongs to the Lithostrotia clade and is a unique variant of the sauropodomorph Austroposeidon, influenced by mutations caused by the mysterious compound Element. Common Physical Characteristics: The Austroposeidon elementar is an impressive sight, standing out for its monumentality and distinctive physical characteristics: Imposing Height: This creature reaches astonishing heights, could be bigger than giganotosaurus and much smaller than the titanosaur , making it a true wonder of nature. Glowing Crystals: Your iridescent skin has a grayish tinge and displays glowing patterns that seem to pulsate with energy. The crystals on its back act as conduits for the Element, emitting an ethereal luminosity. Long Neck and Tail: Austroposeidon elementar has an extraordinarily long neck, which allows it to reach food from high up, and a muscular tail that it can use for powerful attacks. Short hind legs and long front legs: Austroposeidon hind legs can be short but support its skyward neck as in the bipedal instance and the strong and long front legs serve for its earthquake Environment Based Variants: Austroposeidon elementar variants are influenced by the different environments of the Extinction map, featuring distinct adaptations: Frost Austroposeidon (Ice Dome): Passive Skill - Glacial Resistance: Adaptation to the extreme cold of the Ice Dome and the ability to temporarily freeze enemies with its close-range attacks. Unique Attack - Snowstorm: Creates a snowstorm that decreases visibility and deals damage over time. Desert Austroposeidon (Desert Dome): Passive Skill - Heat Tolerance: Resistance to extreme heat and the ability to release a wave of heat. Unique Attack - Heatwave: Damages nearby enemies and reduces their speed. Tech Austroposeidon (Sanctuary): Passive Skill - Tech Interaction: Ability to interact with ancient technologies and restore durability to tech items. Unique Attack - Energy Pulse: Fires a devastating energy pulse that damages enemies and disables technological devices. Knockout Method for Taming - Hind Paw Attack: Description: The Austroposeidon is an imposing creature, and its colossal size makes taming a challenge. To knock it out and start the taming process, players must aim for the creature's short hind legs. These paws are a vulnerable spot, where a series of accurate shots can weaken the creature and make it fall. -
Alamosaurus/ The earth shattering titan Temperament: Neutral Diet: Herbivores Size: 40 meters in height (20 walls) Wild: you will often see Alamosaurus roaming around forest with heavy foliage and big sources of water, but they arent just calm titans if attacked they can flatten even the biggest foes like the giganotosaurus. Taming: to tame the Alamosaurus you will have to wait for it stretch its neck down to feed kibble the alamosaurus but truly skilled survivors have been known to climb up the neck to feed it or get a better view of the surrounding area. Ability: the Alamosaurus have a ability to stand on its hind legs and slam their front legs into the ground but you can increase the damage the more percent of its weight is filled the more damage its attacks would do, for every filled 1% weight it gets 1% more damage (capping at 100%) so you can sacrifice speed for damage output. The omega beam is a concentrated beam that only can be activated if titans are nearby and it forms a united beam from all 4 tek turret that shreds anything it hits dealing massive damage to corrupted dinos or titans but it has a crazy cooldown so it isnt spamable You can also equip your Alamosaurus with a tek turret saddle that includes 4 tek turrets (learned when any titan has been defeated) that also works as a tek forcefield(but with increased element consumption) The special thing with the Alamosaurus turrets is that they have the ability to move on tracks along the body of the sauropod allowing you to get a better view of the surrounding area or to get a better shot on enemy. Left click: Stomp Right click: tail swipe C : mega stomp X : Omega Beam Left control: activate forcefield (only if tek saddle is equipped) If you have any suggestions leave them below

If you want to use this submission in a video please contact me before making the video I did not have time for the Dossier so it’s going to be scrappy and unfinished but I do have a full list of abilities that Atlasaurus has. Atlasaurus is a large powerful macronarian sauropod known for it’s long powerful legs and shorter neck, it’s essentially Brachiosaurus that didn’t skip leg day. In extinction it functions as a combat utility mount good for clearing hordes of enemies and dragging tames out of danger, that along with a multi use saddle with extra seats and a turret make it excellent for tactical engagements. I wanted something that is good for Supply Drops and hordes of smaller enemies, it’s also good for boss fights as it will do increased damage to larger creatures. Abilities -a multidirectional stomp attack similar to Amargasaurus -a charge that activates as it runs that will knock back enemies and send them flying out of the way, a good crowd control utility for hordes of corrupted creatures -an immunity to bear traps and explosives detonated near the feet -armored legs that resist damage from ankle biters -high stamina and speed allowing it to traverse large distances quickly -an immunity to the predator damage buff -a higher damage to creatures of a higher drag weight -double damage towards corrupted/Rockwell creatures One potential idea I had was a debuff roar where the Atlasaurus’s neck would balloon out similar to a cobra which would lower the damage resistance of all enemy creatures around it, further allowing it to help with crowd control. Saddle The saddle is modular and can have different attachments depending on the situation, these include things like a built in fabricator, a heavily armored saddle with passenger seating, and a harpoon turret with multiple modes. The harpoon turret has 3 main modes, Rapid fire which shoots out a volley of fast flying harpoons which are good for hitting aerial targets, an explosive tipped harpoon which does high AOE damage, and a latching harpoon which can allow you to drag tames and large creatures away from combat. In the Wild and Taming In the wild Atlasaurus is found in the wasteland, traveling in pairs or groups of three they’re passive but will attack if attacked themselves. Atlasaurus outclasses most creatures other than Gigas and Carchars and will most often win fights against wild dinos and corrupted creatures, they’re around Diplo sized but much taller similar in height to a Bronto but with more health. Taming requires you to trip the animal as it’s charging via a cannonball, aim for the legs and it will knock the animal over where it will collapse unconscious where you can feed it extraordinary kibble. Multiple shots may be needed to trip the animal but thankfully cannonballs will do little damage due to it’s extremely high resistance to explosive damage around it’s legs, it’s easier than taking down a Karkinos or Rock Golem since it doesn’t require the most accurate shot. Shoot and hit any of the legs until the tripping animation occurs. The concept art for it is unfinished and I have no dossier so I do apologize but I will finish it in the coming days, I was not ready for the vote so in a panic I threw what I had into here in the hopes it was enough for the time being.

janenschia would be a large sauropod spawning in the island. they would come in dark greens to browns. its covered in small armor plats like the titanosaur. however it comes in at a smaller size. they would have large health amounts but moved very slowly. for saddle they would have basic saddle and a saddle that was a very small build area and the saddle comes with turrets that get placed on the side of the Janenschia.

Meet the shunosaurus! A mid-sized sauropod with a club like appendage in its tail! My idea for the shunosaurus is that its tail club is so dense that it surpasses the ankylosaurus in terms of element harvesting. It would also have a tek saddle that functions like a tek forcefield! WILD: Shunosaurus Scutomtonantis is a mid-sized sauropod that wanders in small herds around the sunken forest to the northwest of the city ruins. These animals spend most of their time foraging for any edible plant life they can find. Their relatively small stature makes them seem like an easy target, however most attackers would quickloy realize just 3what they have angered. The herd mentality of Shunosaurus means that any members of said herd who get attacked will immediately be bolstered by the rest of the herd in an effort to ward off the aggressor. Not to mention the dense club at the tips of their tails! It's like someone shrunk a bronto and glued an ankylo's tail to it! This species' tail club is much denser and stronger than regular shunoaurus specimens I have heard of. They even have shattered the fancy glowy TEK of the future on more than one occasion! One odd behavior I have noticed among Shunosaurus is that they seemingly...I can't believe I'm writing this...recreationally ingest the rare hallucinogenic mushrooms found throughout the forest. Some even seemingly "socialize" with the tips of their tails thinking it's the head of another animal! DOMESTICATED: The dense club-like tails of Shunosaurus make for excellent harvesting tools. Since their tails are so dense and have so much musculature behind them. While not the greatest for stones and metals, they are excellent for shattering the derelict structures found throughout the ruins. We've even managed to teach some of them to harvest element nodes, giving a much higher yield than even the mighty Ankylosaurus! As mentioned before, the Shunosaurus's tail is so powerful that TEK structures can be heavily damaged by it. All of the ruined old structures crumble to pieces when this mighty tail swings into them! Though, since we personally use them for harvesting element to fuel our base, I have heard of integrating TEK into their saddles despite their affinity for damaging it. Something about a "mini tek shield generator"? I don't know. We have bigger things to focus on. So there you have it! My proposition for the Shunosaurus! Here is a rundown of all the abilities: Element harvester The Shunosaurus's tail club would be the best thing in the game for harvesting the element nodes found on extinction. Better than the Ankylosaurs, but unable to harvest stone, flint, metal, obsidian, and crystal to keep tha ankylosaurus relevant Siege animal The shunosaurus would have a TEK saddle with a built in shield generator that would be perfect for laying sieges to other bases by protecting your own party. The shield will function exactly like the MEK or shield generator strucutre. Drop and element node defender Because of the shield generator built into the saddle, the Shunosaurus will be perfect for defending OSDs and element nodes while you and your tribe kill the corrupted hordes coming for you! Resource harvester While unable to harvest mineral resources like stone and metal, the shuno can still harvest the tek ruins on the map yielding large qunatities of scrap metal, crystals, electronics, and element dust from the ruins! TEK shredder The shunosaurus's tail club would already make for a heavy hitter, especaiily towards TEK. This would further be amplified by the TEK saddle worn by the shuno, as it would add armor to the tail club, further reinforcing it! ADDITIONAL NOTES: - Shunosaurus would have a regular saddle that can be used to ride it. The TEK saddle will deal additional damage to TEK tier structures and armor as well as have a built in shield generator. - TEK shield will be smaller than the one from the MEK. Can only be used when stationary. The shuno will be unable to move or attack while the shield is active. - TEK saddle will be unlocked by killing the forest titan. - Shunosaurus WILL NOT be able to harvest rock-based resource nodes, but will be great for tek ruins or element nodes. - Taming will be passive with rare mushrooms - Yes that is a Dinosaur Revolution reference. So anyways, That is my creature! Here are some images to give you an idea of what it looks like! Saddle sketch by me, lineart sketches done by the talented user Danger Floof (@floof_art on discord)

This is Mamenchisaurus, Extinction’s last bastion against the corruption. This powerful creature is one of the strongest tames known, rivaling even the Giga and Charchar in terms of use. Let’s get into her, shall we? Design In real life, the Mamenchisaurus was a large sauropod found in Jurassic China. They had few predators due to their size, and had one of the longest necks known among dinosaurs. On Extinction, they boast a coat of protofeathers on their backs and tails, as well as the element-infused underside shared by Velonasaurs and Managarmr. When empowered by eating a corrupted heart, the spines along its back will glow blue, much like the “good” element color on its and most Extinction creature’s underbellies. Dossier “Common Name: Mamenchi Species: Mamenchisaurus Interfectorem Corruptionis Time: Late Jurassic Diet: Herbivorous Temperament: Defensive” Wild ”The wild and unnatural wastes of Earth are oftentimes too much for any creature, much less any herbivores. and yet? the righteous and gigantic Mamenchisaurus stands tall against the waves of opposition. These huge sauropods use their weight and mighty tails to combat the hordes of corrupted creatures in the wastes, sometimes even fighting Titans and winning! They make a unique use of corrupted nodes and hearts they pick up, turning the former into a tame-enhancing applicant, and the latter into sheer elemental power, the beast being near unstoppable when under its effects.” Domesticated “While not exactly easy to tame, Mamenchisaurus offer immense utility to anyone who can wield its power. It’s among the only creatures I’ve seen fight those Titans and hold its own, meaning that, next to the MEKs, they’re arguably the best creature for taking on those abominations. Earning one’s trust, on the other hand, is a whole ‘nother beast entirely.” Ecology Mamenchisaurus are massive herbivores found wandering the Wastelands of Extinction. Despite being herbivores, they will relentlessly attack and kill hordes of Corrupted Creatures, leaving most other species alone. Due to their immense size, they are rarely, if ever, attacked by predators such as Rexes or Spinos. Taming Mamenchisaurus are tamed strangely. A Wild Juvenile must be found and interacted with to begin the process, as it will follow you after being interacted with. While it is following you, you must kill Corrupted Creatures (Or Titans if it is more convenient for larger tribes) and ensure the Juvenile’s health never drops below 50%. If it does, the Juvenile will become aggressive to you. After enough creatures are slain, the Juvenile will warm up to you and sit down, allowing it to be fed a single Corrupted Heart to tame. The larger the creature slain, the more the taming bar goes up. Abilities Mamenchisaurus offer a wide range of abilities meant to fight off the rampant corruption. For starters, the species passively deals 2x more damage to Corrupted Creatures and Titans, are near impossible to knock back from Titan attacks, and can rotate in place. Their main attack is a directional foot stomp, allowing them to hit all directions around them. Their secondary attack is a neck sweep, giving them far more range than their primary attack. Their third and strongest attack is a charged and targeted tail whip, so precise as to accurately impact corrupted points on Wild Titans and dismount riders. Lastly, Mamenchisaurus can convert Corrupted Nodules into a paste that empowers tames against corrupted creatures, and can consume Corrupted hearts to gain an even further damage boost, enough to also damage metal structures. The main drawbacks of such power is the beast’s terrible speed, high demands for food, lacking attack power against non-corrupted creatures, as well as the substantial cooldowns/recoil that all of its abilities have. Uses ~Mass Gatherer Though not its intended purpose, Mamenchisaurus’s Neck sweep can harvest trees and bushes, gathering immense amounts of wood, thatch, fiber and berries. ~Wave Defender Due to its buffs against corrupted creatures, Mamenchisaurus is a must-have for OSDs or Element Veins. The one catch is due to its large AoEs and damage, the Mamenchisaurus must be placed away from the defended position to avoid it breaking the target itself. ~Raiding/Raid Defense Due to its large health pool and size, Mamenchisaurus can somewhat effectively drain turrets of their ammo, and breaks down defenses due to being able to break Metal structures in its empowered state. On the flip side, Mamenchisaurus can effectively counter raiders using Titans due to its powerful anti-corruption abilities. ~Titan Hunting/Taming Due to its power against Titans and Corrupted Creatures, Mamenchisaurus is best used to fight these gargantuan threats. It can even be used for taming the behemoths due to its targeted tail whip attack. It can easily compete with Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus against any of the Titans, including the King Titan. The one caveat is the creature’s inability to properly attack the Desert Titan when wild, due to the Titan’s tendency to fly high out of reach of most creatures (this can be circumvented by building a large enough platform on a Quetz Platform saddle, much like how one flies a Giga up to the Titan). Notes -I submitted the Mamenchisaurus due to the lack of variety in most community votes. While many different species (some good, some bad) have made it into the top ten, the winners are mostly the large carnivores (Charchar, Fasolasuchus, Gigantoraptor) or flyers (Desmodus, Sinomacrops, Rhyniognatha) and I wanted to introduce something new. Specifically a herbivore, as the last herbivore to be introduced was the Amargasaurus on Lost Island (unless the Andrewsarchus eats berries but I don’t recall it doing so). -The Mamenchisaurus was designed as both a PvP and a PvE tame to appeal to both crowds. While it doesn’t have distinct utilities angled toward either party like the Laeallyenasaura (My last submission), it’s unique abilities make it an valuable tame for late-game Extinction, for both PvE and PvP tribes. -Mamenchisaurus was partially designed to shake up the meta, given its anti-titan abilities and its precise and powerful tail whip. -While titan-opposing dinosaurs have been proposed before, I made mine a sauropod to differentiate itself. -The Mamenchisaurus’s taming method, particularly the feeding of a Corrupted Heart, was meant to dissuade the taming of early-game. -Mamenchisaurus’s main counter would be speedy player-controlled flyers or gliders, which can easily get hits in without being struck themselves. -If targeted right, the Mamenchisaurus’s tail whip can very easily put Managarmrs or Rock Drakes out of commission, swiftly killing the beast or its rider with its immense power.

Ampelosaurus- The Spiky Material Gathering Sauropod
JonathanTuno9 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Ampelosaurus Intro The Ampelosaurus would be a new aggressive sauropod found in extinction that would hopefully make material gathering more interesting. This creature would be a faster alternative to current material gatherers and be more well versed. This creature would also be able to be used as a tame that can actually fight somewhat so it has some extra utility. This creature would also have different functionality’s for different genders. Wild In the wild this creature would be neutral and only attacks if provoked. This creature would look slightly different as a male and female. The male form would have a more spiky back side and be primarily cold colors in contrast to the smoother back of the female and warmer colors. These creature would be found in groups of 3-5 and be about the size of the Amargasaurus. The females when provoked would be faster although do less damage in contrast to the males slower but stronger attacks. These would spawn almost anywhere. Tamed The Male and female differences would be in there usefulness particularly what they gather. For example the female. This would be faster but have less health and damage so it’s less battle ready than the slower but stronger male counterpart. The male would also be better at grabbing ores and stones being great at gathering stone, metal, crystal and obsidian and be alright at gathering fiber. All these items besides for fiber would have a 50% weight reduction. The female would be better at harvesting wood thatch and berries. This version would have a 75% weight reduction on all of those. The saddle would unlock at level 50 and be have a built in forge that would be in between a industrial forge and refining forge. It would also have a smithy for male Ampelosaurus and a mortar and pestle for females. Taming Method This taming method would be hopefully not too annoying but pretty fun. In order to gain the trust of the Ampelosaurus you would have to give it trophies. This would give some extra use to trophies besides for boss fights. The females would like easier trophies like sarco skins and sauropod vertebrae while the males would want T. rex arms and allo brains. This would not make them a pushover to tame but not too easy where it dominates early game.-

Sauroposeidon Omniscience, the Radar that sees All
DoctorHoatzin posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Towering above the forest, looming over the Arks and high above your head stands Sauroposeidon Omniscience! Often found in small groups of two or three, Sauroposeidon spends its time living in marshy areas with plenty of plants for it to eat. They like to spend their time around trees and water, so swampy areas or other wet places like beaches and lakes are where they will most often be found. Touted as one of the tallest sauropods ever discovered, Sauroposeidon lives up to its name by being a massive animal that makes the largest predators look like compsognathus skittering around below it. Its intimidating stature means that anything in its way is likely to make room, for fear of being crushed in its wake. While not the heaviest of the Arks' titanosaurs, it makes up for its "lighter" status by being much more vigilant to approaching threats. With its towering height, Sauroposeidon is able to see farther than any other land-dwelling creature, which gives it plenty of advantage when it comes to watching out for predators - or survivors. In groups, their ability to see any approaching threat is extended, increasing the radius that they can detect danger. When a Sauroposeidon spots a threat, it bellows out to inform any other nearby creatures to flee (or fight, if they would be neutral to the threat). Considering Sauroposeidon is not the fastest animal, the advantage of knowing exactly where its natural threats are is essential to its survival. While Sauroposeidon can see more than any creature on an Ark, it doesn't exactly see better than anything. Plants and grasses tend to blend together, so Sauroposeidon will see anything that looks like a bush as a bush (ghillie!). If Sauroposeidon has trouble scanning its surrounding with its long neck, it has another tactic for finding any threats. Using a "seismic sonar", Sauroposeidon can use its weight to stomp the ground it stands on, sending out shockwaves that can detect any living thing around it that is moving around on the ground. Sauroposeidon will know exactly what is around it, and exactly where it is at the time the shockwave reached it, as long as it is moving. Anything that is not moving is much harder for the sauropod to notice, and it assumes stationary objects to be rocks or other natural formations. Any creature close to Sauroposeidon when it brings its foot down will be sent flying away a short distance, making it a useful technique not just for surveillance, but also for defense. Any tribe would love to have a Sauroposeidon to keep an eye out for enemies or predators. Taming a Sauroposeidon is a tricky task, as they are constantly on high alert. If a survivor manage to approach one without startling it, they will have to earn its trust by bonding with the giant. Waves of predators (increasing in quantity/difficulty depending on level) will spawn trying to attack Sauroposeidon, and it's up to the survivor(s) to defend the animal. Taming effectiveness is determined by how quickly waves are cleared and how many threats manage to reach the Sauroposeidon. Anything that gets close may be stomped on by the towering titan, so survivors would be wise to clear out any predators quickly, and to steer clear of those tree trunks for legs! Once all the waves are cleared, the taming process is complete. When tamed, Sauroposeidon acts like a sentry array, constantly watching for danger. Survivors will have the option to scan for other creatures, hostile creatures, other survivors, or anything that moves. The benefit of Sauroposeidon's height is that it can track larger, closer creatures most precisely, constantly revealing their position to its tribe (think Tek helmet visor), but anything beyond a certain point will just be marked (Parasaur alarm). Having multiple Sauroposeidon will increase the radius that creatures can be detected, and also slightly improves accuracy. When equipped with a saddle, a small camera will be placed in the muzzle on its head, allowing for a connection to a Tek Surveillance console. This will allow survivors to accurately track anything the Sauroposeidon can see. If equipped with a Tek saddle, Sauroposeidon's threat-detecting abilities are greatly enhanced, allowing it to track all creatures on the Ark (like S+ Transmitter). The Tek saddle has a built-in surveillance console that functions the same as the regular saddle. Sauroposeidon will still have the ability to slam its foot into the ground to send out a seismic wave and detect threats for its allies. The radius of the stomp can be increased by leveling up Sauroposeidon's weight stat. Once a threat has been detected, the tribe can decide through Sauroposeidon's radial menu how they want the situation handled: flee, fight or wait. Sauroposeidon will let out a bellow to whistle groups of the tribe's creatures to take out the threat, run from it, or stand and be ready to fight. While not exactly built for combat, Sauroposeidon is still an enormous animal that can do a lot of damage if it throws its weight around. It's height makes it difficult to do anything with its neck, but its tail can still be swung around to do damage. On top of that, it can use its weight for more than just scanning the ground: one heavy step can do a lot of damage to anything caught underneath of a Sauroposeidon. Anything that survives the crushing force of its foot will be knocked away. (I am not the best artist) -
sauropod ampelosaurus- The under ground tank (UTILLITYS)

name: ampelo Species: ampelosaurus rex time: Late cretaceous temperament: neutral Wild Ampelosaurus once mistaken for a diplodocus are large and semi armored herbivore that wonder around in the green zone but some have been spotted in the blue zone. this herbivore is mostly left alone by herbivores and carnivores alike even when unconscious or weakened. its large size can case roll rats to come out of their burrows and small amounts of objects to come out of the ground domesticated- ampelosaurus can slice open any adversaries you face with its enlarged osteoderms and does extra damage to large animals like reapers, drakes ,spinos, etc. Its spiked armor can cause damage to animals that attack it similar to the kentrosaurus but it also takes reduced damage like the stegosaurus. the animal is rideable and can carry up to 6 people at once. taming- to tame this titan you need to one first and get a ampelosaurus spike and mix it with 5 polymer in a chemistry bench. after mixing the 2 objects to will get 1 organic cure and you will need to eat this mixture and you will not die from eating organic polymer for 400 seconds. after eating this mixture you will have to eat 1 organic polymer and will let off a rare flower like that will make ALL ampelosaurus close by angry and attack. during this state you can not knock the out and tame it with barries or kibble. utility LMB: a tail attack that can cause the gnashed ability and (at base level/level 1) does 56 damage. RMB: a stomp that can harvest almost every type of resource and (at base level/level 1) does 96 damage. LCTRL: A roar that can stun all small and medium small dinos (like a mix of the baryonyx tail attack and yuty roar). V: Amit a light pet like glow that for 250 seconds makes all dinos and playesr near by immune to radiation and nameless. -

Alamosaurus A sauropod in a cave? Why not! My vision for Alamosaurus is an immense apex tame of the caves of Aberration, a mobile sentry/sniping tower, a charge battery charger, and Reaper-slayer. If interested, keep reading! BASIC INFO Full Name: Alamosaurus illumimensi Group: Sauropod Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Docile Equipment: Alamosaurus saddle, Alamosaurus platform saddle DOSSIER Wild: Alamosaurus illumimensi is an impressive, if odd member of the caves of this Ark. Before exploring the deeper chambers, we believed Diplodocus to be the largest herbivore left in these caves. Imagine our surprise as we began our exploration of the blue zone, only to be nearly trampled under what we thought was a tree! They stand slightly higher than their cousins Brontosaurus, holding their head high above the glowing plants in this area of the cave. The easiest way to distinguish them, however, are the visible air sacs that, when inflated, give off the same glow as the Bulbdog and Glowtail. I suspect this is thanks to a reaction from the mushroom spores and their unique biology, but I can't be sure. Like most herbivores on these Arks, Alamosaurus is very docile. I have only seen it engage in combat twice. Once, when a few of us attempted to tame one by knocking it out, and once when we saw a Reaper make it's way up from the radioactive zone. Alamosaurus were quick to intercept it, going after it with such aggression that I quickly understood why Reapers seemed to stick to the very bottom parts of this Ark. an example of air sacs at various stages of inflation Domesticated: Tribemates have found many different uses for these animals. I know of two survivors that managed to gain its trust by feeding it plant species Z seeds, and then helping it kill the Nameless that would start to come after it once their charge light ran out. Once they gained it's trust, they managed to construct a saddle that harnessed their charge light to recharge worn-out charge batteries, at the cost of keeping the animal well-fed. They also decided to make use of the tall ridge formed from the tall neck vertebrae just behind the animal's head, situating two seats on either side of the ridge. They claimed it was so they could keep a good lookout, but I saw one of them carting up a heavy sniper rifle one day, likely for some target practice. While Alamosaurus can also support a decent-sized platform on its back, most tribes seem to use it more as a combat mount, feeding it Mushroom Brew and taking it into the radiation zone to hunt Reapers. Some have even brought in high leveled ones to help against Reaper Queens, as the charge saddle keeps them high enough to avoid accidental grabbing, and the Alamosaurus's torpor immunity, high health, good damage, and knockback resistance allow it to hard tank anything a Reaper Queen can throw at them. BEHAVIOR Alamosaurus, like most herbivores, is docile unless attacked. The exception is when a Reaper enters it's aggro range. This will cause it to bee-line for the Reaper and attack it until one of them dies. Drops: Raw Meat Hide Raw Prime Meat TAMING Taming Alamosaurus is very similar to taming Amargasaurus. Start taming by feeding a wild Alamosaurus plant species Z seed. This will disable the Alamosaurus' ability to generate charge light until it is tamed or killed. Turn off any other sources of charge light, and wait for Nameless to begin attacking. The Nameless will ignore the Alamosaurus, going only for survivors. Kill Nameless until the Alamosaurus askes to be fed again. Feed it and repeat. In the event that a Reaper spawns, the Alamosaurus will attempt to kill it. Damage dealt by the Reaper won't count against taming effectiveness, but it is still recommended to help kill the Reaper in case the Alamosaurus isn't strong enough to kill the Reaper on it's own. Killing a Reaper will give substantial taming progress. UTILITY Abilities: Stomp: [LMB], [RT] – Stomps with either the left or right foot, determined by what direction you're looking. Deals bonus damage against ReapersGathers Fungal Wood and Thatch from trees. Kick: [RMB], [LT] – Kicks with the back foot, determined again by the direction you're looking. Deals bonus damage against Reapers. Gathers Berries and Mushrooms. Charge Light Cycle: [C], [R3] – Cycles between three charge light modes. Off: Does not produce charge light in the area. Disables recharging batteries in the saddle. Indicated by air sacs not inflating or glowing. Normal: Produces charge light to protect a small area, and enables battery charging at a slow rate. Costs a noticeable amount of food per second on top of normal drain. Indicated by air sacs inflating and glowing in-sequence from its head to its tail. Overdrive: Produces charge light to protect a large area, and enables rapid battery charging. Costs a large amount of food drain per second. Indicated by all air sacs inflating at once, and glowing brighter than in normal mode. Note: battery charging is only available with the normal saddle, not the platform saddle. Roles: Mobile Base: Like any animal with a platform saddle, Alamosaurus makes a great mobile base. It's ability to produce charge light in varying ranges elevates it above other platform animals on Aberration. Charge Station: The normal saddle allows you to charge batteries anywhere at the cost of additional food consumption. Reaper Combat/Taming: With it's knockback resistance, charge light abilities, torpor immunity, and bonus damage against Reapers, Alamosaurus is an excellent support mount for taming or killing Reapers. Mobile Sentry: Due to it's unique saddle and how high Alamosaurus keeps its head, they can be used as sentry towers or sniper towers, with the driver acting as a spotter and the passenger acting as a sniper. Harvesting: Wood, Fungal Wood, Thatch (Stomp) Berries, Mushrooms (Kick)

utility Behemoth Cave Sauropod - Diamantinasaurus
JackDB123 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Diamantinasaurus The Behemoth Cave Sauropod Art by Brian Engh from dontmesswithdinosaurs.com Dossier- Name: Diamantinasaurus Time: Late Cretaceous🕰️ Diet: Herbivore🌱 Temperament: Neutral😐 Wild The Diamantinasaurus is a colossal herbivorous sauropod from Australia commonly found in both the green and blue zones. Large plates that adorn the Diamantinasaurus' back serve as protection against predators and the radiation within the Ark. Unlike most herbivores, the Diamantinasaurus possesses a highly developed sense of aggression when threatened, enabling it to fiercely defend itself by utilizing its immense size and powerful tail to fend off potential predators. In the wild, the Diamantinasaurus employs its large front limbs to pound the ground, similar to the roll rat, in order to unearth gems. Taming When taming the Diamantinasaurus, its back plates will glow in either green, blue, or red, corresponding to the three gems found in each zone. These colours will alternate during the taming process. The survivor will then need to drop the gem that matches the colour of the plates. However, once the Diamantinasaurus consumes a gem, it becomes aggressive, and any attempt to ride a mount will result in the Diamantinasaurus knocking the rider off. The taming time will depend on the level of the Diamantinasaurus and the difficulty of obtaining the required gems, so survivors must come prepared. Domesticated Once domesticated, the Diamantinasaurus can be utilized to significantly enhance the efficiency of harvesting various gem nodes scattered across the diverse zones of Ark Aberration. In addition to this valuable capability, the Diamantinasaurus possesses other abilities and utilities that make it a versatile asset in this challenging environment. Primitive dual catapult saddle: the catapults mounted on the Diamantinasaurus are reminiscent of the trolls' catapults from Lord of the Rings. Positioned on either side of the Diamantinasaurus, they accommodate two individuals, much like the seating arrangement on an Amargasaurus saddle. This setup serves as both a PvP strategy and an alternative to taming the Karkinos, albeit with the inherent risk of the Karkinos still having the capability to snatch the two individuals operating the catapults. It is worth noting that the saddle itself can sustain damage through extensive use, but higher tiers of saddles may possess greater durability. Radiation protection saddle: despite its higher cost compared to the primitive alternative, boasts infinite durability without the inclusion of the two catapults. It provides the rider and two others with protection from the radiation in the red zone, as well as from the effects of the spores found in both the green and blue zones. Attacks Ground pound: will dismount players from dinos and will harvest more gems from nodes Reduced weight from gems Tail swipe: pushes back dinos and harvests berries and thatch Charge: breaks through wood and thatch however has a large cooldown Passive abilities Dorsal plates will glow with corresponding buff in each zone green, blue and red- Green higher speed Blue quicker cooldown and larger AOE of ground pound Red Higher defense/attack and the dorsal plates will grow thicker and sharper Passively produces light in all zones -
Magyarosaurus ~Gentle Little Giant~ (マジャーロサウルス〜優しき小さな巨人〜)
negi posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Dear survivors! Wouldn't you like to have a little giant that is radiation-proof, water-resistant, and has a tiny house on its back? So I propose a small sauropod "Majarosaurus"! The dinosaur lived on an island in Romania during the late Cretaceous period, but it appears to have shrunk due to being trapped on the island. The actual total length is said to be about 6m, but I would like it to be larger if I were to add it to ARK. (現実での全長は約6mだとされていますが、ARKに追加されるならば、私はもっと大きな方が良いと思っています。) wild (野生) Magyarosaurus lives mainly in the middle layers. To fend off Nameless attacks, they emit a dull glow from their armor. This light is weaker than other light source creatures and is not available to survivors. However, by resonating with the surrounding allies, the light will become stronger and survivors will be able to utilize it. Larger than Triceratops but smaller than Paraceratherium. And faster than Carnotaurus. usually spends its days leisurely in a herd, but will fight back when attacked by ferocious creatures. All you need is a sweet vegetable cake and patience. First, place a veggie cake that's sweet enough to be unnoticed, like a non-violent tame. Then it sniffs out the scent and comes closer. This saddle is a lot of work to build, but it also works as a little house. The house size has 4 foundations and 16 walls. Just like Andrewsarchus, this house is filled with air inside, so it doesn't suffocate. It also protects against radiation and harmful spores. Creatures below Utahraptor will not be able to move for a while due to vibration. (点灯と消灯を切り替えることができます。1体だけでも自分の周りのネームレスを撃退することはできますが、同種の仲間が近くにいると、それぞれの効果範囲が拡大します。) passive ability (パッシブ能力) Magyarosaurus can be halved with armor just like the wild. It is also resistant to radioactivity and harmful spores, allowing exploration of the lower layers. Also, by creating a flock, the ability will increase. The maximum number of groups is 4. In addition, it can run underwater like Andrewsarchus. lastly (最後に) If you think this creature is attractive, please vote for it! herbivore Argentinosaurus Huiculensis - THE APEX CARNIVORE COUNTER
SNA posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Name: Argentinosaurus Huiculensis Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Territorial Dossier: Argentinosaurus is a tyrannosaurid sauropod accustomed to life among members of its own species, which means that it is more than prepared to face packs or groups of creatures that seek to disturb the peace of the enormous sauropod. Don't get to close if you don't want one of his legs on you. The Argentinosaurus Huiculensis specimen found on the ARK is slightly larger than usual, being the herbivore equivalent of the two largest predators on the ARK. Argentinosaurus has the ability to disarm coordinated attacks by dealing a strong whiplash with its tail to the enemy creature, causing enormous confusion and making it impossible to distinguish between a friendly creature and an enemy creature. Tameable: yes Rideable: yes Breedable: yes (same time as a Quetzal or Yuty) Abilities: -Primary attack: Just hit with one of his front legs (the leg who moves depends if the objective are at right or left) -Secundary Attack : Argentinosaurus will put in his back legs and charge a devastating hit with his front legs (while the creature is in his back legs he could move his body in 360° like the Spino) -"Pack predator counter" or special Attack : When two or more Argentinosaurus are in a same group the higher lever will be able to make a whip tail attack (like a pack leader buff) this will turn in a "rage effect" the first enemy predator that he hits for 10s, similar as the Giga Rage (this effect will make the Dino turn back and attack any thing in his visual camp, including ally creatures and riders, this ability was a cooldown of 80s). This "confusion" or "rage" effect can be activated on any carnivore creature. Armor: When Argentinosaurus gets a hit will auto activate his armor, this armor are the equivalent of a metal wall (hp10k). This very strong armor protect the Argentinosaurus from bleeding attacks and reduce the received damage in 20% (except proyectiles, explosives, turrets). This armor is an adaptation for his wild life style it means that his armor are not prepared for modern weapons. This armor can be destroyed/disabled with explosives and tek munition (turrets, tek rifles, tek grenades, etc). And only can be regenerated after 10min with no damage revived, if Argentinosaurus gets hit his armor regeration will stop. This armor could be represented as a blue light that covers the Argentinosaurus body with some shards of armor to complement the "illusion*of an armor Domesticated: To tame the Argentinosaurus fist we have to show our dominance. First we have to broke his armor, then reduce his health to 50% or less and then fire him with tranq darts until he gets unconscious, will need a great amount of it so prepare yourself. It is important to know that this creature needs to stay close to other Argentinosaurus for at least 1 hour every 48 hours, if these requirements are not met, the probability that the Argentinosaurus will not pay attention to your commands will increase. (commands such as attack, mate or follow) If this point is reached, it is enough to bring the Argentinosaurus closer to another member of its same species, after which a 2-hour countdown will appear, if the Argentinosaurus remains accompanied during this time it will once again be obedient to your orders. Saddle: (CONCEPT IN THE COMMENTS) Argentinosaurus platform saddle will count hit a protected "cabin" for the rider and a turret in the middle for the saddle that can be used by another survivor, this "cabin" protects the rider from being dismounted (as the Andrewsarchus). Can be learned at level 95 and will have a cap armor in 75 Wild lvl 1 and lvl 150 stats: HP: 5500 - 15000 aprox Stamina: 300 - 1200 aprox Oxigen: 400- 800 aprox Food: 6670 - 15700 aprox Weight: 800 - 2300 aprox Melee: 100 - 270 aprox Speed movement: 100 - 100- 2 replies

a wyverns nightmare Isisaurus - The Volcanic Titan
ARKATRON556 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Ragnaroks volcano area is dying for something to freshen it up: Ragnaroks volcanos are boring and uninteresting, with the only reason to go even near the area is because of the wyvern trench. Ragnaroks volcano area is famous for its looks and its once in a blue moon erupting volcano, but there isn't anything besides looks and a few valuable resources that draws players into that area. it barely has any interesting creatures there, with there being only insects and golums, but what if we they changed that? What if ARK introduced a creature that could change how we view Ragnaroks volcano forever... Introducing the Isisaurus! Abilities: Wyverns ultimate nightmare: Because the Isisaurus lives near wyverns, one of ARK's most formidable predators, it should be equipped to deal with them. While a massive herbivore thats stuck on the ground, Isisaurus has grown around its envoirement and can handle whatever the volcanic death zone can throw at it. Fire, poisonous air, and electricity are barely enough to give the titan a scratch. If a wyvern or any other flying predator dares to get close to it, the sauropod has dozens of large spikes on its neck, back, and tail that can land a heavy blow to the winged giant, causing bleed and grounding it, leaving it open for the Isisaurus to get more up close and personal.Intense body heat: With the animals adaptation to intensely heated areas, the Isisaurus has evolved to have incredible body heat, which allows it to live in volcanic conditions. But thats not the only thing strong body heat brings to the Isisaurus! The creature's internal fire is so powerful that smaller nearby predators and insects (carnos, raptors, and mantis spiders) are put off by it and choose to flee the area, which can significantly help tribes with a small base. The sauropod's heat also helps survivors who live in colder environments. Players who choose to have an isisaurus in their freezing base will be awarded with large surrounding warmth for their entire base, which removes the fear of hypotherima while also insulating eggs that need warmth to hatch! Powerful stomp and dust cloud: With Isisaurus massive size, it has the ability to hind up its legs and deliver a powerful stomp that inflicts heavy damage to anyone close enough to it. Not only that, because of the strong stomp, a large cloud of dust is created as a result, which blinds and suffocates any creature that's overshadowed by it. Can walk on lava: The Isisaurus has morphed into the perfect organism that can survive any volcanic environment; thus, it has no fear of lava! While prolonged exposure to it will do drastic damage to the creature, the isisaurus can handle the scorching flames of lava for long periods of time with no real concern, allowing it to move around in areas that no other creature could with its size. Health and speed boost when around an erupting volcano: Even for an animal like Isisaurus, it is weary of the dangers of an erupting volcano. The animal is so weary of them that, when one arrives, it hardens its skin for any incoming flying debris and also moves faster to get away from any threat caused by the volcano. This biological mechanism brings a lot of opportunities for players, its hardened skin makes it tougher to kill, and its faster speed makes it easier to cover large distances with such a large specimen Ultimate charchole gatherer: Ragnarok's volcanic area has a lot of charred-up trees. If a survivor is in need of charchole for gunpowder, then they can use the isisaurus to gather an absurd amount of charchole in the surrounding area. Tailwhip bleed attack: Since the isisaurus has a extremely spikey tail, any foolish creature to attack it from behind will recieve a tailwhip that causes immense bleed. In the wild and taming method: In the wild, isisaurus tend to be very close to one another, to keep each other company. This also means that they have their young very close to them and are extremely aggressive to any animal that gets even slightly close to their offspring. Because the animal is so powerful and difficult to take down.. the only way to tame it, is to steal its babies and raise them yourself. This creates an interesting new way to tame an animal. You can't just steal their eggs, you have to steal their young, and that creates a host of new challenges, like the fact you can't pick up the animal with the flyer or the fact it's a large baby that's slow and difficult to bring back to base. I hope you all find this entry interesting and if anyone has any more ideas for this creature, please let me know and I'll add them to the post! -
warning a lot of text atacamatitan chilensis ("chilean atacama titan") is the only know species of the extinct genus atacamatitan of titanosaurid sauropod dinosaur that lived in the late cretaceous period, approximately 70 million years ago during the maastrichtian, in present-day south america. it is know from the holotype, SGO-PV-961 which incluides two dorsal vertebrae, caudal vertebrae, ribs, a possible sternum, part of a humerus, the right femur, and incomplete unidentified bones. this specimen was found in the tolar formation. the place of discovery is near the city of conchi viejo, in the antofagasta region. it was named for Alexander W.A Kellner, david rubilar-rogers, Aleaxander and mario Suárez in 2011 and the type species id atacamatitan chilensis. the specific epithet chilensis refers to Chile. it was found in what is now the atacama desert in northern Chile and was a medium-sized species for a sauropod. measuring approximately eight to ten meters long, five meters tall and weighing about four tons. this was the atacamatitan chilensis, a new species of chilean dinosaurs with a long neck tail, which inhabited northern chile about 70 million years ago. this cientific finding - published in the maganize of the brazilian academy of sciences. was the result of a long investigantion, focused on two expeditions carried between 2000 and 2001, where they managed to rescue the pieces of the specimen, which altough it is not complete, does allow an image of what this animal was in like life. what use could atacamatitan inside ark? 1 a large resource farm (stone, wood, sand, berries, fiber, silk and cactus sap) 2 a footfall that deals double its base damage 3 a tail flick from left to right that drives away the dinos that are attacking you 4 a kick with one of the hind legs to get rid of tell us that you have behind you 5 armour destruction a stomp with both front legs that with a time of 30 seconds breaks de armor of dinos like (golem, trike, stego and carbonemys) and destroy manufactured armor faster its mount would be unlocked from level 57, it a can be manufacture in a smithy whit the materials of wood, stone, fiber, leather and metal. it has a platform mount a level 65 that brings cannon with it dossier attempt

sauropod Seismosaurus: The Wandering Earthshaking Titan/Bronto Foil
Vampiress posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Seismosaurus Common Name: Seismo Species name: Seismosaurus peregrinans or (Diplodocus peregrinans) Time: Jurrassic Temperament: Defensive Seismosaurus while being an Invalid genus in our time having been lumped into Diplodocus as its larger cousin suits this creature perfectly as it appears to shake the very earth it wanders over unusually adapted Hostile Environments unsuitable for other large Sauropods. Seismo can eat just about any plant matter even Thatch or Cactus if it comes to it, this versatility allows it to exist in the most hostile of environments. Unlike its counterpart Brontosaurus, Seismosaurus is much more adept at combat using its thick muscular neck, weight and whip tail to deal large amounts of damage very quickly its also a lot faster Albeit at the cost of the sheer Defensive bulk of Brontosaurus. Domesticated: Once domesticated Seismosaurus is a perfectly capital war mount, usually fitted with heavy armour as its unable to carry a platform, this extra mobility and padded armour allow it to function as a battering ram turning even the sturdiest of gates to splinters eventually. Seismo also has none militant uses, its strong mouth and Hardy teeth allow it to literally rip rocks from the ground nearly intact this grab can also be used to get Seismosaurus to lift smaller creatures up to higher platforms such as Clifftops and Cliff platforms for those who may be afraid of flight or in areas where flight may be difficult or even Impossible. Health: 1300 Stamina:260 Oxygen: 150 Food: 8000 Weight: 1000 Melee Damage: Tail slap- 70 (1.5x damage to Carni's) 105 Neck slam- 70-105 Bite- 24 - 36 Stomp (10-second cooldown) 110 - 155 Movement Speed: 100% Torpidity: 7000 Utility saddle: 72 (gives 0 armour) Warsaddle: 86 (normal saddle works like Trike has base armour of 20) Why Seismo?: Arks Diplo is tragic and deserves better but that being said Seismo is not Diplo its a sister species and grows far larger and longer than its smaller cousin which is why I had the idea to make it a strong and aggressively Orientated counterpart to the tankier and defensively orientated Bronto swapping the utility of a platform saddle for extra damage and a smidge of its smaller cousins mobility this being said i didn't want to make a pure PvP creature and wanted to give Seismo a couple of unique uses in PvE play as well mostly serving as a way to move dinos and people to where you want them or an extremely efficient but slow and costly gatherer of minerals -

-Dossier Mamenchisaurus -Species: Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum -Time: Late Jurassic -Diet: Herbivore -Temperament: Passive... not quite -Wild: Mamenchisaurus is recognizable by its size almost as large as a brontosaurus and an elongated neck, it is passive as long as it is not provoked, although it has attacked survivor-domesticated dinosaurs, mostly large carnivores, which many survivors prefer to avoid. It is not as massive as the rarer to see Titanosaurs, and is a creature that has gained fame among various tribes. -Domesticated: Mamenchisaurus is a big beast that you can put a platform on and build whatever you want there, like brontosaurus or titanosaur, it can be a walking building, putting any structure on top of it, it can destroy even metal bases. -Abilities and attacks: Kick (Primary attack) Tail swipes (Secondary attack) Neck blow (Use time of 15 seconds, it doesn't deal as much damage, but it can knock back almost anything and can dismount you from flyers.) Stomp (Use time of 30 seconds, stronger against Giganotosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus and Titanosaur and can do a bit more damage to rock elementals.) "Primary attacks are closer in damage to brontos, and strong attacks are a bit more powerful than rex, but as I said before, it does more damage against gigas carchas and titanosaurs can break metal structures (No Tek to make it too OP)" -Taming: Basically is the "Titanosaur + Equus + Andrewsarchus taming method" It's taming method is by throwing cannonballs at it's head and putting a saddle on it (Like the Titanosaur), but after putting the saddle on it the Mamenchisaurus will wake up annoyed with you on top making sudden movements (That's where you have to press the right (A) or left ( D) like the Andrewsarchus) and you have to relax it with food (With a method similar to that of the Equus), every time we feed it it will calm down making less sudden movements, after a dangerous experience you will have a loyal giant by your side. -Taming Food: Extraordinary Kibble>Crops>Mejoberries>Amarberries Azulberries and Tintoberries. -You can put a platform saddle on it. Wild: Mamenchisaurus is a neutral creature like most herbivores, although it will be aggressive towards some of your tamed creatures (Allosaurus, Basilisk, Carcharodontosaurus, Crystal Wyvern, Dinopithecus, Giganotosaurus, Karkinos, Magmasaur, Megatherium, Reaper, Rex, Rock Drake, Rock Elemental, Shadowmane, Spino, Therizinosaur, Wyvern, Yutyrannus)

Discovery: A part of a lower femur was discovered in 2010 by a farm laborer, Aurelio Hernández, in the desert near La Flecha, Argentina, about 250 km (160 mi) west of Trelew. Size: Given the size of these bones, which surpass any of the previously known giant animals, the new dinosaur is the largest animal known that walked on Earth. It has an estimated length of 37 m (121 ft) and an estimated weight of 69 tonnes (76 short tons) but in 2014 news reports provided estimates of Patagotitan's size at 40 m (131 ft) long with a weight of 77 tonnes (85 short tons). The size is not exactly known. Note: The Patagotitan belongs to the Titanosaurs familie but in game it is not given wich titanosaur ark's titanosaur represents. due to the differences in looks between arks titanosaur and the given picture of the patagotitan you could guess that its not the same dinosaur. If so the patagotitan could be bigger than arks normal titanosaurs. Sources: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patagotitan https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Patagotitan_restoration_2019.jpg

TREAD AND STOMP YOUR FEET! AMPELOSAURUS IS HERE! THANKS! Thank you guys so much for the support in the last vote,I honestly didn't expect to get Arambourghinia so high on the vote. I believe we got around 13th place last time? And around 250+ votes! Unfortunately I couldn't do Arambourgiania this time around as it wouldn't fit with the general vibe of scorched but I've managed set my mind on a new creature this time, that being said enjoy the rest of the submission 😊 While you're Checking this check out some other lovely submissions!:Majungasaurus, Gigantoraptor Sidenotes: It's not by any standard any "rex" tier creature that would make the creature far too powerful than it needs to be I'm thinking more or so allo tier? It's whip function neither it's whistle are incredibly long range to the point creatures that aren't even aware of your presence will get targeted SUMMARY: (Read the full submission if you want a better grasp of what the capabilitys of this sauropod are i have more information about these traits further in the submission) Ampelosaurus is a french sauropod from the Late Cretaceous which is covered with thick osteoderms, my idea for this animal is to be a large soaker being able to do minor area control with it’s whip like tail, it has a fast easy to use whistle which can guide your tames in a decent enough amount of area. Additionally it has a unique split saddle is inspired by elephants and a blue/green color pattern giving it’s “jade” like appearance HISTORY:(will do in a sec) TRAITS/MAIN POINTS: Pack Boost: Ampelosaurus has a pack boost giving it an extra resistance in how much damage it can intake, all attacks applied to Ampelosaurus will be reduced by 20% giving it a tough resistance towards the harsh man made machines and fauna of the desert, this pack boost also comes with a slight speed boost making ampelosaurus be capable of escaping if things don’t go to plan Whistle: Being social creatures ampelosaurs can communicate with each other effectively, use it’s emote toggle wheel to act as a faster long range version of the group whistle/option wheel, whistling specific types of creatures to either evade, attack, stay on a specific target, or even notify other players when a certain animal is in the vicinity, it’s sort of different from RTS mode it’ll green mark tamed creatures in the direction your Ampeli is pointing towards and will allow you to access your tame’s option wheels. You can pretty much sit in your base on an ampelosaurus and do all the tasks you want to do with your animals without having to run around through each creatures menu. Lost a Cryopod? just use the amp to check all of your creature’s valuables. You can also transport tames around without having to load them manually on Amp’s plat saddle, the ampeli has a rest down option which levels it’s platform saddle towards the ground putting that in pair with it’s whistle you can quickly transport tames. All Aboard the Ampelosaurus!!! Combat/Defense: Ampelosaurus isn’t the average combat tame, we have many heavy dps critters I think a more large defensive area control style would work in the game fairly well STANCE: FENCE Ampelosaurus will lower it’s head towards the ground displaying it’s bright and flashy but tough osteoderms for taking in oncoming attacks, (primarily used for soaking) in this stance it has a back kick and whip attack which doesn't do an insane amount of damage but keeps enemies at bay, it’s main attack in this stance will be a shoulder check where it can puncture animals which happen to get within bounds, It can move diagonally, forwards and backwards in this position The osteoderms can wear and tear however so make sure to keep your Ampeli happy and healthy by keeping it with the rest of the herd and feeding it well occasionally Ampeli has a happiness meter as stat (Can’t be leveled) a normal just tamed ampelosaurus will have a happiness meter of 0 then will increase if treated right STANCE 2:WHIP: By using Ampeli’s whistle function you can also additionally toggle into a whip mode Ampeli will raise it’s head to the sky and move it’s tail in circular patterns, instead of selecting tamed creatures it’ll select opposing creature’s instead and due a long distance whip attack which does a thrashed effect on them knocking them back while also kicking up dust to make them move slower, It can only target one creature at a given time so use it wisely. CACTUS SAP: When consuming wyvern milk and cactus sap in high amounts Ampelosaurus will go into a crazed state it’s able to trample creature’s over, run faster and do faster more lethal attacks at the expense of it’s defensive capabilities, it’s whip turns into a stun/bleed and it’ll auto target critters rather than you having to manually select, After this state Ampeli will be heavily slow and frequently trip and stumble over itself until you rest it for a hefty amount of time TAMING METHOD: Similarly to my Arambourgiania submission Id like it to involve assisting the mother ampelosaurus in raising their young, You'll have to work with the rest of the herd feeding them, protecting them against predators and playing their various games this can include tag, tug the rope and eating contests, do these activities and you'll prove your worth as a guardian figure and be able to take care of said young SADDLE: They have two saddles one being a large more decorative platform saddle equipped with preserving bags, heavy heat resistance and weather resistance, visible cosmetic sorting bags that allow you to show what goodies you have on your ampeli, due to Amp's osteoderms its saddle is split into two platforms instead of one on the back, cold nights on an ampelosaurus will be extremely relaxing, with the new ASA cloth textures i’m sure it will look nothing but fantastic. It's 2nd Saddle is more PvP based it's the same as the first being a two sided platform but it's smaller and positioned towards the back of the animal, this saddle comes with a trusty metal box on each side with window openings for your shooting and a telescope (Here’s a quick and small section on the biology of Ampelosaurus and how it behaves in the wild) BEHAVIOR: Ampelosaurus are social creatures they live in herds and establish hierarchies usually including the dominant male and female, the younger males and females and their juveniles which are kept guarded in the middle of the herd. it is not unlikely to find an outcast male Ampelosaur, it happens often that the other male Ampelosaurs in a herd compete over dominance with the alpha male, an ampelosaur rut is a treat to see, their flashy blue and green bodies sprinkling under the desert dust they cloud up while bashing neck to neck. APPEARANCE: Ampelosaurus will stand as the third largest sauropod right under brontosaurus in size, it's similar to Agustinia in the structure of its osteoderms being splayed it diagonally at the sides of its body, Ampelosaurus usually have stretches of blue or green streaking across their bodies giving them their "Jade" like appearance
