The Dinoponera Matriavastus, The All-terrain Forklift Ant!
Dynomyster posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Disclaimer: I am no artist so visual representation won't be super great, but hopefully my written descriptions will suffice! Also The species might not fit the time period qualifications for submission, but it does not need to be this ant species specifically. But in my head since this is extinction I figured the element corruption grew an ant on earth to a massive size, if that is not acceptable then just imagine it is a cousin species of the titanomyrma that underwent the same corruption process! Specific species isn't super important to me, I just think a ride-able ant in ark would be dope! Wild Spawn The Dinoponera Matriavastus is a creature you will never find on it's own. Because of this, they benefit from a pack bonus that gives a substantial damage reduction buff. When killed the Dinoponera drops a large amount of chitin and a small amount of meat. The Dinoponera workers spawn in the vicinity of a nest, which looks like a man sized anthill sticking out of the ground. Inside the nest is the Dinoponera queen, who will occasionally leave the nest to wander before returning into the tunnels. The Dinoponera is not aggressive to humans unless they get close to the nest and the queen. They share the same temperament to wild creatures except small creatures like dodos, lystros, etc, and they will consume corpses. Because the Dinoponera reproduces asexually, the species only contains females and all of the workers will be an identical level to their queen, so if you see mis-matched levels of workers it means another nest is nearby. The nest will act as a structure and is destroyable, when destroyed it forces the queen out and aggros her and all of the workers. Once the nest is destroyed all Dinoponera will stop spawning in the area and any existing Dinoponera will slowly despawn when out of render, so you can clear nests in the hopes of finding a higher level nest nearby in the future. Taming You first have to reach the nest without being detected by the workers. The queen can be coaxed out of the nest by dropping honey just outside of the nest, or you can wait for her to naturally emerge. Once the queen is out of the nest you must feed her bug repellent without drawing aggression. This will cause her to lose health quickly until she dies. Killing the queen this way will not aggro the workers. Once the queen is dead, access her inventory and remove her pheromone. Then apply the pheromone to yourself. If you currently are affected by bug repellent yourself, you must wait for the effects to wear off. Be careful of how long you wait, as the pheromone will spoil within a few minutes outside of her inventory. When you are affected by the pheromone, if you are attacked by any creature, nearby workers will come to your aid. This could help save your life, or get the workers killed by accident, so watch your surroundings. Once covered in the pheromone, approach a worker and it will give you a request for some kind of resource. It could be a basic material or a basic food, ie wood, stone, berries, raw meat, etc... Put this item in your last inventory slot and give it to the worker. The more of that item you have in a stack, the more tame progress will be made. So giving it a full stack of 100 wood will give it more tame progress than giving it a stack of 5. Continue filling the requests of the worker until the tame is complete and you have a Dinoponera! You can technically tame as many Dinoponera as there are in the area, but because you only have 30 minutes of pheromone you have to manage your time properly. Once the pheromone wears off, any wild Dinoponera in the area will instantly aggro on you. Breeding Unfortunately since you cannot tame the queen they would not breedable. But I have been debating whether or not they should be. Maybe a decent idea would be the ability to feed a worker certain items and it will transform into a queen, giving you the ability to have one that lays eggs. Possibly feeding a worker 1-5 queen pheromones will turn it into a queen? I'm still split on this part simply because I love breeding and getting mutations. Saddle Upon reaching level 35 you unlock the Dinoponera saddle, which is crafted in the smithy and costs: metal, hide, fiber, and chitin/keratin. This saddle would provide the usual 25 armor and visually would have slight armor plating and saddlebags all over it. It's saddle acts as a crafter, but not a smithy or mortar+pestle. This saddle is able to craft unlocked primitive engrams that would normally need to be crafted in your inventory. So primitive structures, certain saddles, and much more could be crafted on the move without the need for a blueprint. Utility Weight Reduction Once tamed, it is an exceptional beast of burden, capable of reducing the carry weight of wood, thatch, fiber, hide by -40% while reducing the carry weight of stone, metal, flint, obsidian, crystal by -35%! On top of that it reduces the carry weight of all structures by -50%! This makes it extremely useful when moving large quantities of supplies or setting up/moving to a new base location. It can gather wood, thatch, meat, hide, berries, and fiber, albeit at a relatively inefficient rate. Not the best for gathering, but will do in a pinch. Traversal & Mandibles It is able to climb walls and uneven terrain fairly quickly. Pressing the crouch key while riding a Dinoponera allows you to use it's mandibles to pick up certain things. It is capable of picking up and carrying storage boxes, similar to how the rhynio can carry structures. But the Dinoponera can only carry small storage boxes, large storage boxes, and vaults (vaults will act as a drag that I will talk about shortly). It's mandibles are also able to pick up and carry creatures. Anything with a drag weight of 100 or below can be picked up and carried. Not only that, but creatures that fit the weight can also be picked up and carried if they are dead or unconscious! The Dinoponera is also capable of dragging creatures with a drag weight of 101-300! The drag is quite different from the carry. With dragging, the Dinoponera can move heavier objects, but because of the weight, must focus all of it's strength moving it. Therefore when dragging heavier creatures and metal vaults, the Dinoponera can only walk backwards. But have no fear! The Dinoponera is capable of climbing up surfaces backwards, so you can still drag that unconscious Ankylo up a cliff! This can be quite useful to move knocked out creatures to a safer area for taming. It also has use as the ability can drag corpses, making you able to bring a corpse to a tame with better gathering efficiency or even transporting bodies to assist in Carchar taming! Although you would still need to drag the body closer to the Carchar yourself, the Dinoponera can move the corpse quickly from a further distance. Dinoponera Nectar Lastly, when 1 honey and 20 berries are placed into the inventory of a Dinoponera, it will convert the honey into a sweet and nutritious nectar that will provide +40 food as well as a 15% bonus to movement speed, stamina, and stamina regeneration for 15 minutes! The Dinoponera love this nectar and it can be fed to them as well, doubling the effectiveness of the nectar but for only half the time. -
Introducing Pristinailurus, The Giant Red Panda Tank!
MaidenMonarch posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Intro- Hello everyone! This is Pristinailurus Bristoli, a large carnivorous ancestor of the modern-day red panda. The real-world Pristinailurus was much larger than the red panda but was thought to have a weaker bite. I gave the Pristinailurus details close to the Gacha, because I envision it living within the Sunken Forest and experiencing whatever similar evolution that the Gacha underwent. The main use this creature would have is to be a turret/bullet soaker, and an overall menace of a tank all the while protecting the rider! Dossier Text Wild- Pristinailurus Bristoli, more commonly known as the Ailurus, is usually a docile and calm creature when left unprovoked, although Ailurus is a carnivore and will hunt smaller, less aggressive prey. (Humans aren't on the menu this time!) The Ailurus seems to have rocky "scales" covering their bodies as evolutionary defense mechanisms to protect against predators that get a little too confident in Ailurus's calm nature, or smaller prey that fights back. As far as resilient creatures go, you can't get more resilient than the Ailurus! Domesticated- Although this creature might not have the strongest bite, a tamed Ailurus in an invaluable tank to any tribe wishing for a reliable source of protection. Their damage-reducing rock armor will protect creature and rider alike by heavily reducing damage from projectiles and preventing dinos like Dimorphodon or Purlovia from singling out the rider! Attacking creatures soon realize they have taken on a harder target than initially thought, as the protective rock scales knock back creatures who try to take a bite, leaving them with rock "splinters" that increase damage dealt to them. The Ailurus is also proficient at climbing up cliffs and trees, and can sniff out uncommon resources like sap, fungal wood, and various mushrooms that wouldn't normally be found in trees or bushes! Ability Breakdown- -Reduced damaged from projectiles and heavy protection from bullets. -Prevents dismounting or rider-targeting from dinos like Microraptor, Dimorphodon, etc. -Knocks back creatures that attack. -Leaves Rock Splinters on attacking dinos, debuffing them by increasing damage dealt to them. -Can climb cliffs and trees (much like the real-world red panda). -Can gather sap, fungal wood, and various mushrooms from bushes that wouldn't normally produce them. Thank you all for reading and I hope you like my creature idea! Please consider voting for it!- 1 reply

DOSSIER - Name: Stomatosuchus Inermis Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Piscivore Temperament: Semi-Aggressive WILD Stomatosuchus can be found in the Mushroom Forest, River Valley, The Fallen Nexus & Crystalline Swamps in Aberration. Its diet consists mostly of fish however it may prey on smaller dinos if necessary. Despite its large size, it's still frequently preyed on by larger crocodilians and some large theropods. If provoked, the stomatosuchus will attack the survivor, possibly trying to swallow it whole. TAMING To tame a Stomatosuchus, the survivor must passively feed it dead fish, similar to an otter. The survivor must wait for it to go to land and fall asleep, which is when the survivor must feed it. Fish with larger sizes will boost the taming effectiveness and speed up the taming process. DOMESTICATED Stomatosuchus doesn't need a saddle to ride on, however it does contain natural armour similar to a shadowmane. This creature is also very fast in water, almost being as fast as a Sarcosuchus. The Stomatosuchus possesses a powerful Giga-Bite that may be charged up while holding down it's primary attack. Stomatosuchus also has the ability to swallow smaller creatures and even survivors. Stomatosuchus is especially effective at helping the survivor obtain fish baskets. Fish will passively swim up to the Stomatosuchus where the survivor can easily trap them. Once tamed, the fish can then be stored in the Stomatosuchuses throat pouch and released when in another body of water. SADDLE Stomatosuchus doesn't need a saddle to ride on but if you wanna fight against any high level Creatures or Bosses then you must have to unlock it's unique Armoured Saddle at level 85 and this saddle is equipped with Two Automatic Turrets, Need Advanced Rifle Bullets and Gasoline to use the Turrets. Equipped with the Armoured Saddle on Stomatosuchus, then it is also 100% immune to weather effects. Finally, While you riding Stomatosuchus into the underwater, then you don't need scuba tank or else because Stomatosuchus will give you 100% oxygen into the underwater without sacrificing of its health or anything. And Stomatosuchus is 100% immune to Electricity & Aberration Gas radiation because of it's own Armour without saddle. Stomatosuchus can produce Gas balls inside its throat pouch.

solar panel The Great mighty Stegouros
PrettyBroom7921 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Like its close relative the ankylosaurus stegourus is a great armoured dinosaur however its very aggressive and will try to fight almost anything. Stegourus tail is no joke it can cut any tree making it a great wood collector and fighter if its tail ever hits a dinosaur they will bleed out uncontrollably and if you think a large dino would easily tack it out well you’ll be sorely wrong if it ever hits the creatures leg the large creature will become crippled making it impossible to escape. Stegourus name means roofed tail and its tail is like a solar panel charging with the suns heat and when fully charged it will never run out of stamina, will become faster, and will do 3x damage however this doesn’t work during night. In order to tame stegourus you must wait till night for the dinosaur to fall asleep then you must feed the creature by hand but this is easier said than done because stegourus loves to move in its sleep and if you accidentally touched it, it will wake up and fight you. you will need to wait for the next night to start again as it won’t fall asleep again. it will also wake up if a threat is near. -

Species: Saltasaurus macronarius Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Docile... Too Docile Wild The Saltasaurus can be identified from most other sauropods by their unusual dermal protrusions on the back of the animal. Upon closer inspection, these protrusions appear to be made out of a similar substance to preserving salt. These animals have no quarrels with wild predators as they don't have reason to eat a living salt rock, especially in a desert where keeping hydrated is so difficult. However, what is difficult for most is easy for Saltasaurus and the animal has adapted the environment's salt into armor instead of allowing it to dehydrate the animal. That being said, without natural predators they have no reason to expect attack and do not really know how to defend themselves well. Domesticated Saltasaurs absolutely love salt licks, so it is unsurprising to learn that salt is their preferred food choice in taming. Upon being tamed the Saltasaurus is typically used as food storage by human tribes which are first developing and can even rival the refrigerator in terms of keeping consumables from spoiling so quick. They also act as a decent "safe mount" to explore the wastelands without worry of being attacked by predators. Even in tribe-mounted attacks Saltasaurus can come in handy. If it were to be attacked by an enemy tribe's carnivore, they would suffer the effects of dehydration. Another usual use for Saltasaurus discovered by a tribe of scientists is that the armor can be used as a sort of smelling salt when broken. Go figure. Description Saltasaurus appears like the image given below with the armor being made of salt, the mouth being more of a beak, and the neck having a more upward tilt to it (no base-game sauropods have that posture, so I figured why not). Of course as the title states the preservation in its inventory would work to preserve food, essentially just short of the preservation time of a fridge. It's very small for a sauropod with decent health, but not on the level of Bronto, so it has a small damage reduction also. It has a neck swing and a tail attack, but they deal relatively low damage and the animal doesn't use these attacks in the wild. Wild carnivores simply do not aggro to Saltasaurus even when attacked, but will either ignore it or retreat if attacked by Saltasaurus. If Saltasaurus is attacked by a carnivore, that carnivore will get a "dehydrated" debuff where it cannot regen stamina temporarily making it dangerous for a carnivore to continue attacking and gaining torpor when out of stamina. Vice-versa, upon being attacked (By an enemy, cannot be activated by your own tribe. Wild herbivores could be utilized to activate this effect) Saltasaurus has a buff applied to it where it acts as a living smelling salt and instantly wakes up any allied creatures near it that have gone to sleep thanks to torpor. Of course all of this is subject to change, the developers can put their own spin on the salt theme I would just be happy to have this guy in game.

Sivatherium - Ark's New Strongman Herbivore
ZazaGaming posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
I'm not good at creating dossier text but maybe people, if interested, could run with this and add to it. Size: Slightly larger and more muscular than Paracer. In real life they would have been smaller but a giga in this game is way larger than a Rex so, I think we can stretch it a bit. Plus, I think it would be nice to have a larger mammal. Look: Like a giraffe, wildebeest, and moose combined. Horns maybe larger than normally would have been (again to look cool). Also think some sexual dimorphism - females will smaller horns. Fun attribute: Gallops instead of plods. Picks up momentum like rhino and bear. Once it hits full gallop uninterrupted (some visual cue for this) it can lower its head and become a battering ram that can destroy up to at least wood structures. Ram Saddle: A normal saddle for those that just want a fun giant steed for running around. Has huge spikes on the head. Wearing allows for the battering ram attack to damage stone. Cart Saddle: A unique still of platform saddle. Instead of being on the back it would be a cart. Wheels with a platform on top. People could make fun "traveling salesman" saddles. Doesn't have to have a huge limit. Something between the Quetzal and the Paracer maybe. I think this could fill a fun area that the Paracer and mammoth try to be but really can't quite fill. -
Rutiodon was a massive 20-foot ( 6 meters ) crocodilian creature who lurked in swamps the swamps of the Jurassic period waiting for his prey underwater. The way it killed its prey was by waiting for a dinosaur to drink in the lake/swamp and then ambush the prey with an incredibly powerful bite that would instantly kill many of the creatures it would attack, if the attack was not able to kill the victim it would drag it into the water drowning it, and then eat it. Even tho its attacking method doesn't seem very effective against most creatures at that time, this attacking method would have taken down small creatures like desmatosuchus to big creatures like plateosaurus proving this method to be very effective. Now I want to talk about how this creature would be presented in the game. GENERAL: Instead of being 20 feet ( 6 meters ) long, it would be 26 feet ( 8 meters ) long. It appears only in swamp areas. It will hide underwater most of the time only surfacing every 5-10 mins for 30 sec. If a player or a creature ( tamed or non-tamed) is in a 65 feet radius ( 20 meters ) it will get ready to attack by opening its mouth a bit releasing some bubbles so the player can see the Rutiodon. The Rutiodon will be camouflaged in the water while it is hidden making the only way to see it being the bubbles it releases and when it comes up for air. If the creature it attacks is an ovis or smaller it insta kills the creature ( this works when tamed ). If the creature it attacks is between a moschops and a therozino it will have the ability to drag it to the water while dealing a small bleed ( this also works when tamed ). The only way to break free from the drag ability is to spam space until you are released ( breaking free from the drag also stuns the Rutiodon for 10 secs. It has similar attack damage as the rex but a bit higher, almost as much health as a paraceratherium, it has terrible speed on land but on the water, it is the fastest dino in the game. Appears in Fjodur, Ragnarok, The Isle, The Center, Valguero, Lost Lsland, Genesis Part 1, Aberration, Crystal Isles. It is a bit rare to find. TAMING: For the taming process, it is similar to a troodon's taming process, you lead a small tamed creature ( Ovis to compy ) to the Rutiodon and let it bite it making it an instant kill increasing the taming process by 15% if the level is 1-50, 10% if it is level 51-120, 5% if it is level 121-150 ( or above if your playing with higher levels than normal). If the feeding process is interrupted either by another player that's not in the tribe feeding the same Rrutiodon or the Rutiodon gets attacked the taming process will be cut in half every time one of these events happens. The intervals of feeding will vary between 5-10 mins each independent of the level. TAMED ABILITIES, FUNCTIONS, AND INFO: The materials needed for the saddle would be cementing paste, hide, metal, and chitin. This dino is meant to be a late game. While you're mounted on the Rutiodon you have the ability to toggle camouflage ( key: c ) only in the water with the Rutiodon, only being able to be detected paras ( key: control ). If you hold right click you will charge a massive bite that deals a lot of damage and insta kills ovis or smaller. If you hold left click on a targeted creature ( from a mosschop to a therozino in hight scale ) you can drag it with you ( the player stays mounted ) where ever you want ( preferably to a large water mass so the creature doesn't escape ), or you can also grip on to a big creature like allosaurus and above, the grip ability is similar to the drag but instead of dragging a dino you grip to it like a deinonychus, but the bleed is 3 times smaller than the dragging bleed. When mounted you can toggle ( key: z )an x-ray ability that lets you see any dino or player on a 165 feet radius ( 50 meters ) Saddle level: 88 If you guys have any suggestions to make this creature even better plz tell me so we can make this creature even better so the community can enjoy this creature. Man's best friend. The Amphicyon is a canid from Early Miocene period. Standing 6ft high and weighing 400 pounds, this isn't a dog to mess with. Although they are passive creatures, you don't want to anger them. This well, muscled beast has incredibly strong legs. Which can stun and knockout players in one swipe. With a powerful neck and sharper teeth than a wolf, this tame can harvest more meat than any other creature! Please upvote. We need dogs 🐕

Utahraptor - Apex Raptor Calls To Arms
BloodOfADraco posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
While we have many different raptors such as our iconic “raptor” and deinonychus. We don’t really have what is a larger apex raptor on the size capacity of our apex carnivores such as the Allosaurus, Rexes and Spino. While it would still be the smallest of the Apex dinosaur category. I still believe it will be a fun addition to add to our list of main boss dinosaurs. Common Name: Utahraptor Species: (Utahraptor Ostrommaysi) Time: Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Basic description: The Utahraptor (utahraptor ostrommaysi) was one of the largest Dromaeosaurids that lived in North America during the Early Cretaceous period ranging around 16-23ft (4.8-7 metres). Utahraptor Dossier: Wild: When I thought outrunning and surviving attacks of raptors was hard enough… it wasn’t long til I stumbled into something far larger… deadlier… and just as smart. A pack of utahraptors is a challenge in itself. Further study shows how fascinating and how intimidating such creatures are both in broad daylight and nighttime. They often roam in packs of 3-4. Capable of tackling prey 3-4 times their size with confidence and finesse. With their calls echoing through the air, they are capable to holding their own with the apex carnivores in the region. The more they are challenged the harder they are to take down. Making them either a very deadly threat or a capable ally. Taming: Utahraptors being highly intelligent they have also a very interesting method of taming. To gain a Utahraptor’s trust you need to provide it with food in the form of corpses (like the Carcha or Fjordhawk). This can be done with a pack of Utahs or a single individual. For a pack, the alpha Utah will sniff with a curious bark and eye you and the body that you are dragging. (Same if it’s only one). The alpha will eat the body and gain trust depending on the type of dino it’s been given. Larger animals give more trust. Once the trust is full, the Utahs form an alliance hunt. If the alpha approves the rest obey. As you will be given the opportunity to go on a pack hunt for a certain time limit allowing you to tame the alpha Utah. Over this course you are to lead a certain amount of creatures to the utahraptors in which they will kill. However, you are not allowed to have any other tames next to the Utahs. Any apex animal (rex, giga, Spino) will startle and break the trust. Any lower tier dinosaur will be deemed potential prey and be attacked (lower tier carnivores like Carnos, herbivores). Being one of the pack you must be able to provide the group meals yourself. This will mean you will often have to run on foot and lure prey to the Utahs. Putting trust in them is the same as them putting trust in you. After the alpha Utah is tamed. Should there be more pack members, the next in command will allow you time to do the same method and continues. (Initial tamed Utahs will not break the trust of other wild Utahs of the pack until they are podded or within a certain range away from the rest). Domesticated: Utahraptors are diverse and being intelligent. They will provide both utility and power to your arsenal. They have two different stances. “Assault Mode” and “Tactical Mode” (Can be swapped like how the Desmodus can turn on and off heat vision) Passive: “Apex Adrenaline” when faced against apex predators or animals much larger than itself. Utahraptors gain a slight personal movement speed boost and receives less damage. This includes when fighting against bosses. Assault mode: This stance makes the Utah a deadly weapon focussed on attack. It has its initial bite, primary attack. It’s secondary is a jump back kick which also sends it backwards slightly. This ability causes a “Dazed” debuff and causes the target to be slowed. It’s third skill is a call which doesn’t affect many creatures except for those categorised under medium tier dinosaurs like Carnos, Trikes, etc. This causes “Intimidation” which reduces the target’s melee by a certain percentage. Tactical Mode: The stance causes Utahraptor to use more supportive and strategic. Similar to how it has the initial bite. This bite will be significantly weaker. Except this one now has “Weakening” the bites cause the dino to lose stamina and while this debuff is active, the target has less stamina recovery out of battle and also when exhausted it will also prevent the target from using attacks. (E.g if a giga person was to spam the bite over and over. This debuff prevents them from being able to do so should they run out of stamina.) A balance for pvp. It’s secondary is now a grab. This ability allows the raptor to pick up smaller target in its mouth. While in the Utah’s mouth, players can either bite to hurt the target in their jaws or press the secondary skill again to throw them a certain distance. The third skill which was the call now changes to a “Call to Arms” any tame within the roar radius now gains a new buff. This skill now gives allies reduced stamina consumption and increased health regeneration. (This won’t heal like the owl or daedon, more increases their natural healing). Anything classified within the dromaesaurid family such as raptors, deinonychus will also gain the Utah’s passive. Wild raptors and deinonychus hearing this call will become your allies temporarily like how yuty can ally Carnos. Utahraptor also has the ability to jump significantly high. Capable of reaching the height of a giga’s head or slightly higher. Strategy: For PVE, the Utahraptor is a late-game dinosaur tame that boosts both power to the tribe’s arsenal and tactical ability. Utahs are made to fight dinosaurs significantly more challenging. Meaning a beneficial tame to use against bosses and a tame able to hold their own decently against the apex carnivores which can ruin a person’s day. Utahraptors rank potentially at the lowest or mid among the apex carnivores. Being slightly smaller than an allosaurus when it comes to size, but it would be faster than all of them. Having the speed slightly faster than a yutyrannus, and against bosses and other larger carnivores this speed increases. However, their utilities rank them among Rexes, Spinos and Yutys being the second apex carnivore to hunt intentionally in a pack. Pvp: Utahraptors are specialised for being teamwork assets. Having an assault mode to slow enemies. Used for both offense and defence. While the tactical ability allows people who can time their skill right, to potentially grab or ambush people off their dino saddles. Kidnapping and making a quick getaway, or positioning them a more favourable way in a battle. Such debuffs like “Weakening” also keeps players in mind to play carefully. Since it reduces stamina and prevents the target to become so exhausted they are unable to move. This can balance ways where many people often take advantage of the exhaustion trade off to torpor like giga bites. Making people think twice before taking on a Utahraptor. (Personal note: While I do know this isn’t a dinosaur that is “Unique” in terms of concept. I think that there isn’t really a dromaesaurid that has an aura like our other carnivores. While Deinonychus has proven its worth among boss fights. It lacks the size to display an absolute presence on the battlefield. Let me know what you think)- 1 reply

Erketu Ellisoni - The Walking Lighthouse!
QuesoTheCheese posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Dossier Common Name : Erketu Species : Erketu Ellisoni Time : Late Cretaceous Diet : Herbivore Temperament : Territorial - Neutral Wild You see yourself walking through the dark forests of The Island, in hand, a primitive spear and wearing nothing but your underwear as you explore these strange lands. As you make it deeper into the vegetation you feel the ground shake behind you, you fear the worst and turn around slowly, gripping your wooden weapon so hard blisters form, drops of sweat flow through your forehead and your knees shake preparing for a fierce battle… but.. it isn’t a carnivore, instead one huge leg. What you’ve just encountered is none other than.. the Erketu, The Walking Lighthouse! Standing slightly larger than a Bronto but with a neck so oddly long that puts the Titanosaur to shame the Erketu is able to scan the canopy easily to eat the perfect branch of leaves, while keeping track of the nearby carnivores and other similar threats. You might be able to see it has some natural fluorescence especially in its head and neck and it appears to be bright, so bright you could see it hundreds of miles away. This natural glow is this critter’s main defense and attack ability, from being able to temporarily blind and cause fear to those unfortunate souls all the way to calling specific species in a extended radius around itself the Erketu has it all! Domesticated Assuming you have survived the taming processes in one or two pieces (I’m bluffing) you will see a variety of abilities at your disposal, though that’s for later, for now let’s dive into the creature itself. You will need a rather heavy and expensive saddle. In the normal saddle you will be able to hop in up to six of your mates and in the platform saddle… as many as you want.. if you have enough chairs for them of course. If you are the leader you might see one singular seating space at the head of this massive beast, and if you’re not you will be able to sit on top of the creature’s neck comfortably. While riding your new lighthouse pet you will notice when it is hungry and when it’s not as the natural bioluminescence in the Erketu’s head and neck losing its glow the hungrier it is, and when it is attacked and none of it’s active abilities are activated their glow will flicker just as an electrical light would. Additionally keeping track of the Erketu’s glow is an easy way of knowing the torpor, the health and the effects it is undergoing in the midst of battle so you don’t need to constantly open up its inventory. Potential Base Stats Base Stats: Health: 3,250 Stamina: 350 Oxygen: 150 Food: 12,000 Weight: 1,100 Melee Damage: 100% Speed: 100% Torpidity: 3000 Taming The Erketu taming process is rather torturous, slow and expensive, but it’s all for a very useful reward. It consists of three phases where you must take control and overpower this massive beast, each phase has different requirements and very much like a baby it will ask for either a specific amount of a berry or vegetable or even eggs of other creatures, they specifically prefer those fertilized eggs to make things harder. Phase 1 Starting off slow you approach your desired Erketu cautiously crouching behind it like a Shadowmane (don’t worry though you won’t need a camouflage suit in this case), taking advantage of the Erketu visibility focused on anything but the ground you will begin to passive tame it like with a Mesopithecus, however the Erketu won’t be satisfied with one insignificant berry and you’ll need larger amounts to make an impact, that is, if it asks for berries in case it asks for eggs (which can be anything relatively small, think Carno and smaller) you’ll need 2 - 5 fertilized eggs regardless of level, infertile eggs work as well but the taming effectiveness will drop. The process will take a while but once it hits a certain taming percentage or so the next phase will begin, you can also see the glow in the Erketu’s neck become brighter and brighter as each phase is completed. Phase 2 Now the Erketu knows about your presence, and let’s say even if you’ve fed it, it won’t be so happy to see you around. It will enter a hostile phase where it’s glowing parts will begin to flicker and after a few seconds a large light blast will cover your screen blinding you like a flashbang and giving any creature around the fear effect, you can escape this by getting outside of the affected radius (a somewhat large green circle will appear around the Erketu) or by throwing smoke grenades near your player otherwise the effect will last for 40 seconds with a 35 second cooldown and you might take some short bleeding damage simulating your eye veins being affected by the unholy amounts of light. Additionally it will begin attacking via its basic swiping/stomping attacks. Now your task is to shoot at its glowing spots along its head and neck that will get in the way of its flashbang attacks until none of the glowing spots glow anymore, then phase 3 will start. Phase 3 Agitated by being damaged the injured Erketu will begin escaping, however due to being naturally clumsy due to the disproportionate neck it has keeping track of it will be rather easy, you might be able to see a larger green circle around the Erketu has appeared, in this phase the Erketu’s glowing spots flicker slowly as any species inside the radius will come to its aid regardless of diet or temperament (anything larger than a Rex will not come though), flyers included. During this phase you must use smoke grenades to “blind” the Erketu and proceed to passively feed it anything it asks for, through this process you will see what the Erketu asks will change but it won’t be anything different from what it asked in phase 1. Once the taming bar reaches 100% congratulations! You have successfully tamed The Walking Lighthouse. Abilities and Controls The Erketu is could be used in both PvP and PvE environments; the main abilities can be nerfed/buffed or removed entirely at the developer’s want if needed. Passive Abilities - Glowing spots along its neck and head, can be colored or be simply white. - The glowing spots will dim when hungry and rapidly flicker when receiving damage, when healing they will turn green and under the courage effects of Yutyrannus will turn red. - The flashbang ability won’t give friend dinos the fear effect. - If possible, the whistling radius of the player is increased when mounted on the Erketu allowing for players to whistle tames at a longer distance than usual. Active Abilities - Flashbang ability. Upon activation a decently sized radius around the creature will light up covering anyone’s screen in pure white for 15 seconds or so and will need a 35 second cooldown afterwards, any dino that isn’t of the same tribe will be given the fear effect for 20 seconds at the same time. *Uses a lot of stamina. - Flare ability. When activated you will be able to shoot massive flares from the glowing spots on the Erketu neck, doesn’t have a time limit but will use stamina every time a flare is shot, 7 second cooldown between flares. Additionally if these flares impact a creature they will give as much torpor as a poison Wyvern breath. *Uses moderate amounts of stamina. - Lighthouse ability. The first main ability of the Erketu. When activated the Erketu crest will light up and a radar ability similar to that of a Tek helmet will appear, if you open up the actions wheel you will be able to see a category with the name ‘Search Light’, inside of this category different categories for specific diet creatures and their sizes. Once you set up the ability it will show the locations of the creatures with the specifications you chose inside the large radius around the Erketus similar to the Parasaur way of locating enemies. For example you clicked on the ‘diet: carnivore’ category and inside that the ‘size: medium’, then all medium-sized carnivores in the radius will show around. *Uses large amounts of stamina and increases small amounts of torpor. - Summoning Light ability. The second main ability of the Erketu. When activated the Erketu crest will light up and a radar ability similar to that of a Tek helmet will appear, now, instead of showing the locations of the creatures with the selected specifications it will make all creatures with those traits come running towards you. This ability can be used in a variety of ways and it is especially good for taming in case you are looking for rare creatures to tame. Does not work with flyers unfortunately. In terms of controls : - Left Click : A large stomp using its front legs like a Bronto would. Deals base melee damage. - Right Click : A heavier tail swipe like a Bronto would. Deals base melee damage and a little bonus plus knockback. Harvests wood, thatch, fiber and berries. - C : A powerful neck swipe. Deals less damage but gives the stun effect for 5 seconds to anything it hits. - Spacebar : Flashbang ability. - X : Flare ability. - Hold F : Lighthouse ability - Hold C : Summoning Light ability.-

Hanosaurus, The Mud King! Contact me on discord: _-Isopod-_ Art and character design is done by me. I Thought it would be cool to enter in a design! Tell me what you think of this idea and how it can be improved! For this creature I was thinking of having a few cool abilities. -Roll in mud to avoid the detection of enemies. -Can throw mud to stun enemies. -able to drown enemies by grabbing them and holding them underground -Mainly found in swamps and redwoods -Fast swimming speed -Can dig into the ground and move around, but as you stay in the ground your oxygen goes down, (like basilisk) -when underground the only thing that appears on the surface is a pile of mud -Rideable -Useful for artifact runs Diet: Piscivore How to tame: You must drag a fish up to it when it is burrowed and it should eat it. Temperament: Aggressive Sorry for this not being too detailed lol

Tingmiatornis A flyer not only able to land on water (like Pelargonis) but also to dive. It's middle size mid-game bird you can tame and ride (size similar to Argentavis). Not the fastest on air or in water and not very strong creature but very useful if you love both flying and diving. Maybe strong (HP) as Argentavis but little slower, with less weight and lower stamina. Giving less damage on land than in water (can kill small fish one hit but not the best to fight bigger sea creatures). When tamed not able to pick up small animals or players but can pick up small fish and still keep fish in its claws even if fish die on air. Eating fish meat and raw prime fish meat only. Taming normal way by knocking out and feeding fish meat, raw prime fish meat or kibble. Not agressive against players unless attacked. Fleeing if attacked by other creature on land, on air or in water. If attacked by player fighting back not by giving damage but grabbing the player in its claws. If on land Tingmiatornis will go up fast and try to drop a player from a great height. If close to deap water Tingmiatornis will go under water holding the player and try to drown him. Breathing air but able to stay under water for 2 minutes. Occurring near the sea.
