The Giant Ant, Resource collecting, killing machine
DirtEater47 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
There are 3 kinds of ants: •Queens •Males •Workers Description They work kinda the same as the giant bees, around scorched earth there will be ant hills, which if you go near you will be attacked by worker ants, if you make it to the anthill and destroy it then the queen will come out and try and run away from you, but if you have bug repellent they will wander around liek your not there, every nest a 4/5 chance to either have a queen and workers or a male and no workers, you can take the ants using berries, crops, meat, rotten meat, honey, and there favorite kibble(in that order with berries bring the worst and kibble being the best) Domesticated After they are domesticated they don’t really do anything until they get a saddle, after you get a saddle, you can either have them rideable or have them have a nest on there back, if you chose to have them rideable then they work basically the same as a flying scorpion, but if they have the nest on them, then you are able to breed them with a male to get workers(max of 20 per queen) after that you, they slowly make wet frass(which can be used in place of cementing paste and organic polymer),are able to control the workers to collect resources like wood and berries for you, the queen also has a Tek saddle(killing any level of the manticore) which works the same, but it can shoot laser when rideable, and the workers can now collect advanced resources like stone and metal for you. Rideable controls: Right click: Bite, just a basic bite dealing a little bit of damage and not taking much energy Left click: Stinger strike, attacks with the stinger dealing more damage, and giving poison but takes up more energy Jump button: Fly, uses the same flight as controls as the argy and pteradon (The ones shown below are only the queens, I might add the males and the workers later, also the dossier sometimes doesn’t show so if it doesn’t just let me know)- 1 reply

Once tamed, one can recieve all the Chitin needed. Its a smaller, and more versatile version of the Megatherium, being able to be taken down into caves easier than the formerly said mammal. It lived during the Late Cretaceous epoch, and was similar to the more popular Mononykus, with one claw, and termite eating tendancies. It isn’t ridable, and has low health, but deal decent damage with a stab attack with its claw. It also preforms a jump/pounce attack, but it doesn’t do as much damage. It has major weight reduction to natural rescources, even clay! It can harvest clay from any small rock it comes across. And has a low chance to grind down rocks into sparkpowder upon destroying them. In the wild they are in packs of 7-8 individuals, seeking out Titanomyrma, Meganeura, and other Insects and Arthropods to snack on. They are generally neutral, but if you’re riding an Insect/Arthropod, they will attack. They spawn throughout the entire map, however are not extraordinarily common and only a few pack clusters be found throughout the map. In order to tame them you need to find the alpha of the pack and passive tame it by using chitin, keratin, or clay (along with kibble). After taming the alpha its likely that the rest of the pack will bow down to you more easily, requiring less materials than the alpha. You don’t NEED to tame the alpha first, its just easier that way, as if you want to get all the chitin you want, you need multiple, as they have low health. They are much more relible than Megatherium, as they can carry more chitin, collect more chitin and can be carried by an Argentavis. The stated packs that they spawn in also provide a pack bonus, upping their resistance and damage output. In raids they can be quite the fiesty little guys, a large pack being able to take on a tank creature with ease. Their claws can penetrate through armored animals like Stegosaurus and Carbonemys. They also reduce saddle armor affectiveness by 25%, so putting a pack alongside an Amargasaurus can be quite devastating. In real life: Shuvuuia (pronounced shoo-voo-ee-ah) lived in Mongolia in the Late Cretaceous, hunted termites, and was prey for medium sized carnivores. Their name literally means “bird” with their species name, deserti, meaning “desert,” so, their full name means “desert bird,” hence why I’ve thought it fitting. I would submit a dossier, but sadly I don’t have time, so I would be thankful if a community member could make one! Note: this is going to be slightly bigger than the real life verson. Species name would be Shuvuuia maximus.

🌳BLAKYPITHECUS - The Almost Gentle Warrior⚔️
Ermerus posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
INTRODUCTION The initial idea was to propose a creature that came closer to the real real giantopithecus more than it was now, because let's be honest, it is too much of a bigfoot and in reality it is more like an orangutan killing tigers with the slaps and then, why refuse the opportunity to have the complete collection of monkeys on Ark... Now I believe that the Ark player needs a creature that can help him in defense and attack, who can use his strength to defend us during our epic explorations and, why not, help us in boss fights. Meet the Blakypithecus, the king of insensitive nature!!! Species: Gigantopithecus Blaky Time: Pleistocene Diet: Onmnivorous Temperament: Neutral-Aggressive Rarity: similar to Ovis but more common WILD Larger, more resilient and stronger than its cousins, the Blakypithekus has over time become the undisputed king of the jungles. Although he is famous for his laziness, he is not a creature to be underestimated, in fact their presence on a battlefield could change their fate in a few minutes, so much so that even the T-rex fear their wrath. They are solitary creatures competitive with those who dare to challenge them, but despite their fame as great warriors, they prefer to eat and rest under the canopy of trees, aware that their well-deserved fame will defend them from any threat. Their powerful arms allow them to unleash attacks that can both repel or severely damage the opponent as well as defend against attacks. His roars manage to scare smaller creatures, such as raptors, carno and dilo, aware of the opponent's physical superiority. Place of residence: dense forests of various kinds and mountains (in that case they will have a white color, as some yeti hunters assumed) Trivia: The megapithecus boss is only able to spawn Blakypithecus in Alfa mode, one for each time he summons monkeys. (size of best is the wall) ADDOMESTICATED Its taming varies according to the sex of the creature, if it is female it will be passive and you will have to give it what it asks for such as berries, mutton, rotten meat, etc. The problem comes with the MALES, because they will have a particular taming similar to amargasaurus and Charca, you will have to make them kill THE PREDATORS REQUESTED BY HIM!!! (Given the difficulty of doing this, you recommend taming them first and releasing them when they are sacrificed). The T-REXes will give more tamings if she asks for them. Once tamed you will find yourself a very efficient bodyguard. It can be ridden bareback or, with its saddle armor, it will not only have greater resistance due to the removable armor shield, but also have a second saddle on the creature's right shoulder, to allow a sniper to lurk. Of course he won't be able to use the shield when he uses his SPECIAL SPECIALTY, which I'll show you now. The rideability of the creature is designed for all platforms, even for those who do not have online from the PS4, can always play with a friend and play the part of the SHOULDER, in every sense. ABILITY and MOVESET (PVP\PVE) Its peculiarity is that of BEING ABLE TO USE OBJECTS AS WEAPONS: (trunk, boulders, giant boulder, vine, logs, cannon, etc.) (!!!ATTENTION!!! The fact that he can use the objects from the ground does not mean that he can use them all at the same time, he will have to select on his personal menu the skill, or rather the weapon, and use that, AFTER TOT TIME you can change if it is too OP.) This special can be accessed through the creature menu, where you can decide which move to use specifically. The object it possesses also varies depending on where it is located, for example (Temple -> columns, large skeletons animals -> bones to throw ...). In addition to this, it has a normal defensive set such as: The males have a fearsome WAR ROAR which, in addition to being similar in affection to that of the dinopithecus and being very cool visually, is capable of unleashing all the allied creatures of the same GROUP into a charge. (He Can change the animation depending on the weapon he is using) He is generally able to use his Arm as a Ahield and, if he has the armor, he can use a shield that is unlocked with the movement of the arm, the damage inflicted by enemies greatly decreases but he will not be able to use weapons if parried. Parry, Normal Attack with slap or punch and Heavy Attack that varies depending on the object it possesses, for example with the trunk it can make a super jump and hit the enemy with a super crash. , like the ferox. It has a Turret Mode, which also varies by the object it owns. It can stand on two legs, but it will consume a little more stamina. THESE CHARACTERISTICS OF ITS MAKE IT INTERESTING AND USEFUL ALSO FOR Ark: The Survival Of The Fittest!!!!! -Females also do not have a dimorphism that distinguishes them from males, but not being able to use the ability to use objects at will, she is able to carry medium-sized creatures in her arms, even puppies. FISIC ASPECT Its appearance is very similar to that of normal Orangutans, the only difference being that their size and strength is far superior. They show facial dimorphism, the males have this huge collar, the females do not have it (in addition to this the females have the ability to grab small creatures and bring them to safety). The colors vary according to the sex and the place of origin, and are colors of the type: red, orange, dark red, black, dark green, gray, white and with black or white skin. Mutations provide it with colors such as yellow, purple, blue, and lime green. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS Combat and Utility: Although at first glance it is a very powerful creature, bordering on being OP, it is balanced in the fact that what it takes to tame it compensates for its power in attack and defense, but above all it is a creature that would be implemented , (if Vien Diesel will help us) at the end of the game. This is not a role to be taken lightly in my opinion, because it would mean that it must match the needs of a player who wants something MORE if that can be said. Raid: Having said that it is a creature perfectly adaptable to the needs of those who know how to use it, both in PVE (Boss, basic defense from hostile creatures, Small resources, Alpha etc.) but at the same time also for PVP (it is a perfect animal for raids because in addition to defending players, with or without shields, it is ideal for attacking, which you can customize as you wish and it can defend the bases even when you are OFFLINE with the DK-style turret modes etc.). Thanks for watching IN SUBSTANCE, THE CHOICE IS UP TO YOU GENTLEMEN, I RECOMMEND READ IT ALL BEFORE YOU GET TO YOUR HURRY CONCLUSION, FOR THE REST HAVE FUN WITH THIS EVENT.- 8 replies
