  1. Xenosmilus – Devourer of TEK Xeno „Strange“ Smilus „Smile“ "You really don't want that cat up your Tek pants and Tek housing when it's hangry." Edit: Please read the description and don't judge creatures by design and fancy art/weapons or massive size alone. The developers take both things into consideration and I would very much appreciate your time as well. 💙 If the dangerloaf gets into the top 10 until the 7th of September I'll try to gather some time to draw an additional artwork for it that shows the design better until the voting ends so we can unfold its full potential! ^^ Initially, I brewed the design together for the sake of living out ideas/desires I collected throughout my whole 1000+ hour experience in ARK and to add features to the game that I think would be quite essential and fun as a mechanic without copy-pasting too many creature features that already exist in the game, or go "too abstract" on the concept. I was really short on time when creating and posting this thanks to multiple stressful life events - but I really appreciate those who like the idea regardless. Give the kitty a chance. I know you want a kitty. I know you want a really fierce kitty. And I know you want to pet it. >:) Foreword There’s always been this one unique creature I was missing in the game that isn’t extremely slow but super useful, massive in size, too powerful (be it small or large), or too basic which is capable of farming element/Tek-related resources very efficiently and being an overall fun-to-have tame and battlemount. On top of that, the wasteland of Extinction (and potentially deserts of other maps) generally feel pretty devoid of true -generally unnoticable- dangers, as well as dangers for Tek structures and armor. Today I am happily presenting you my idea – the Xenosmilus. This creature will not be re-submitted to other map votes as its abilities and appearance only fit on Extinction. Species info Xenosmilus hodsonae is a saber-toothed feline from the Lower Pleistocene of North America. Fossils of this genus, which reached about the size of a modern-day lion, are more than one million years old. So far only two partial skeletons have been found in Florida. For ARK the size has been scaled-up by a minimum. Species: Xenosmilus Time: Calabrian of the Pleistocene Groups: Felidae Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Territorial, reactive Body build: Agile, semi-tank About (Wild) This creature roams in small groups (1 male and 3-4 females) and occasionally hunts small to mid-sized creatures for a quick snack. Groups of these large cats can be found resting on the ground when there is no imminent danger, but be careful – they can sense anything nearby and are usually quick to attack. The Xenosmilus is highly territorial and will definitely not shun away from attacking anything equal in size on sight, even as lone wanderers, taking the danger of Extinction‘s wasteland to a whole new level. Corrupted creatures do not attack this animal, as it doesn’t emit natural heat signatures and smells due to elemental corruption covering a large portion of its body, and it is said that it is able to „hide“ its rider atop of its own back by emitting elemental smoke from strange openings on the sides of its neck which allows humans to roam among most creatures unnoticed so long as the smoke cloud persists and the cat is ridden. It is important to note that this creature developed a liking for element/element dust much like some others did. It is said that the Xenosmilus enjoys the taste of element a lot, able to swallow/store element dust in its glowing throat sack and making this resource an important asset for its capabilities. Some say that this cat uses Element to reinforce and repair its own skeletal structures when it has been hurt. Appearance This creature is 60% organic and 40% corrupted, including a corruption replaced digestive tract, reinforced fangs and long, prehensile feelers behind its ears. Different to the mindless corrupted creatures roaming the wasteland, the Xenosmilus is fully self-aware of its actions unless enraged (more to that under „Abilities“). These cats generally appear in light colors matching the darker regions of their body, reflecting the extremely hot sunrays from its back in even the hottest regions – and a belly that is engulfed in corrupted tendrils preventing its skin and paws from burning on the hot sandy ground. The fangs are the most recognizable feature. Males have longer fangs than females and a noticeable mane covering their necks. When enraged, their eyes, fangs as well as throats and fur-spots glow blue. Abilities/Utilities The perfect wasteland/desert runner (utility) The Xenosmilus’ strong legs and great maneuverability make it to (possibly) one of the best options in crossing long distances such as deserts, wastelands, grasslands and even mountains. On Extinction it is primarily found in wastelands, some of them however have been found roaming in the sunken forest. Its smaller size also allows you to traverse certain caves on top of its fuzzy back, but not all. Element smoke (utility) Glands on each side of its neck can emit a strange smoke that is expelled when element dust is consumed from the creature’s inventory. It makes the rider practically invisible, but some creatures with sensitive noses or heat-signature reading abilities might be able to smell humans regardless of the smoke. Consuming element dust (from inventory - utility) When it consumes element dust (aka. element dust present in its inventory), its exposed throat sack starts glowing blue. The throat sack stores element dust (in theory) and the feline will heal faster. A useful grinder and element eater (utility/ability) With its massive, almost saw-blade-like fangs, the Xenosmilus is able to grind down element and element shards into element dust (much like the Parasaur is able to turn berries into seeds on click) it makes a crunch-crunch sound when you initiate the crunch. (approx. 1 Element per sec.) The grinding can be stopped by simply removing Element from its inventory or riding it. On top of that, its fangs allow this cat to collect element dust very efficiently from lamp posts, tek corpses, and element nodes. Tek-creature/mecha detection (ability) The large antennae extending from its ear regions provide this creature with a beneficial tek-creature and mechanical creature detection ability, capable of sensing electromagnetic interferences mechas emit in the air. This however has to be initiated with a button, and a „feeler twiddling“ animation will play before signs of nearby Tek creatures appear. (If there are no Tek creatures in range, no signs will show up.) With the sensory extensions all over its body, the cat can easily make out any approaching prey and predator by feeling vibration in the air and in the ground. Only loud and vibration-rich noise may shun the creature away, such as the scream of a Yuty, as this overloads its own senses. Controlled speed boost (ability buff) When element dust is consumed over time, the creature becomes exponentially faster but more difficult to maneuver as the turning radius increases. This boost is indicated with a bar at the bottom of the screen and lasts as long as element dust is in its inventory, and will stop after a 10 second timer once it is no longer exposed to this resource. This also means that killing a Tek creature will give it the option of a speed boost over time. I would think the element dust is consumed rather rapidly when holding down „shift“, depending on how much it moves around and how often the player decides to initiate the boost with „shift“. It gains the same speed boost around element nodes on Extinction without the need of element dust consumption, making it a fun ride for the defense missions in particular. When stopping to run but the boost still persists, the creature will re-gain its initial speed almost immediately as long as the speed boost bar is charged. Element dust consumption will decrease as soon as the bar is fully charged and the creature enters the enraged stadium. Weight reduction (utility) Element, element dust, element shards and element ore are greatly weight reduced when in the cat‘s inventory. Courage (buff) As a pack of three to four in the wild or tamed, the Xenosmilus male gains a pack leader buff (swirly flames around its back), and the pack (wild) begins to dare attacking larger creatures than their own as each of them gain more resistance against bite-attacks (wild and tamed). The group leader can give the pack a buff called „courage“, but this buff only lasts as long as the other pack members remain close by, and as long as the cat is not enraged. The same applies to tamed ones. Your tamed group of any size only needs one leader so the others gain the courage buff. If there are more males in your tamed group, the male with the highest level will become the pack’s alpha. Bleed (inflicted debuff) The fangs are a dangerous weapon and can cause a strong bleeding debuff upon impact when right clicking, slowing down survivors and small to mid-sized creatures. (Even when mounted.) This does not reduce health faster; it merely exists to immobilize others. Element rage (reactive ability) Element rage is initiated when the creature has been exposed to element dust for some time (when the boost bar reached its maximum). You can see the enraged mood the more body regions start glowing or as a warning symbol on your screen when riding it in addition to the bar. The rage removes the courage buff as the creature no longer cares about who is friend or fiend (except for its owner and tribe tames), making it attack everything within its own sight (basically set to „aggressive“ without the ability to remove said behavior), so make sure not to leave element dust in its inventory for too long when standing around bases or in the wild. To avoid random attacks, remove the element dust from the inventory and transfer it to your own or another tame. The resistance against bite attacks when no longer buffed vanishes, however – health regenerates even faster than normal when enraged, making killing a Xenosmilus to a difficult task if you don’t have a good tame or weapon with you. When exposed to nearby element nodes or having eaten a tek corpse, it has been observed that wild Xenos become extremely aggressive and territorial as element gives this feline a rush. This can become extremely dangerous and tedious if you run into a pack, so either pay attention to what you‘re walking into or try to disperse your tames and yourself farther away from the element node so the feline loses its rage buff, or wait out their rage from farther away. The speed and rage timer immediately runs out when the cat is no longer exposed to element dust in its inventory/near nodes. For balancing reasons, it might be better to not give this creature an additional damage buff when enraged, or exchange the damage buff with the fast regeneration one. (Open to suggestions.) On other maps that do not have element nodes, the Xenosmilus will only gain its rage buff when killing Tek creatures/collecting a bunch of element dust. This can be viewed as an unfortunate feature or as balancing since other (more „natural“) maps such as the Island, Ragnarock and partially Fjordur contain more down-to-earth creatures. Structure/armor damage When enraged, the Xenosmilus is capable of damaging Tek and Metal structures. Make sure to secure your housing properly. Metal and Tek armor also take at least 5x damage than normal when the cat is angry. Taming The Xenosmilus is a knock-out tame and must be fed pure element. The higher the level, the more element it consumes, making it to a mid to late game tame, especially because of its ravenous nature. However - taming one can be very rewarding, and the tame-game doesn’t simply stop there. Taming such a cat does not only consist of shooting it down, a wild Xeno must be lured to you (better yet into a cage/trap) before you can finally tame it. It can be lured in by crafting a specific bait consisting of mutton, crops, sap (…) and one Element. Without bait, you will not be able to tranquilize it. Once the cat consumed said bait, it will go into a mindless rage and will start attacking everything around it, even structures, so building a trap out of wood isn’t the best idea necessarily. Before the rage timer has run out, the cat must be fully tranquilized, so make sure to equip the best and fastest weapon you own. Once down, the kitty can be tamed. (Alternative taming method if the first one is too basic) Instead of taming an adult one, a wild cub has to be lured to you with element bait, then can be raised by you/a nanny dino. This is only possible if you remain undetected by their pack. Killing its parents will scare the baby off and it remains untamable. Other packs may adopt the cub and you can re-try your luck if it hasn’t been killed by wild creatures. Saddling The Xenosmilus will most likely not have a saddle due to the faster health regen when exposed to element/dust and even faster regeneration when enraged. Breeding/Raising Works like every other mammalian creature, but the feline should not be enraged, otherwise it will not do anything. Drops Hide, raw meat, (maybe a small amount of element dust) Other ideas I had but didn’t add: - The Xenosmilus has natural armor „thick skinned“, reason why it isn’t tamable until exposed to the bait ‚drug‘ which makes the cat vulnerable to torpor. - Cold/warm insulation when riding it due to its fur and cold skin - Courage roar, right claw smack - Instead of a bar that shows up, the Xeno has an additional „rage“ bar implemented into its system, like a second torpor bar. - Able to harvest black pearls ~Fin~ Since this is an early concept, I am more than open to suggestions regarding this creature. If something doesn’t float your boat, let me know and I will try to reply and add/change aspects of my writings. And of course, feel free to add your own ideas and pictures! Thank you kindly for checking out my post, and don’t feel afraid to vote if you would like to see this cat on Extinction in the upcoming ASA release (once the map is released). Have a good day! 2. Common Name: Thanos s. Species Name: Thanos simonattoi Era: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivorous Temperament: Collector Tameable: Yes Rideable: Yes Breedable: Yes Wild: Thanos simonattoi is yet another case of the Ark’s environments changing the behaviors of its occupants. This typically unremarkable example of a non-apex carnivore, standing not much taller than a Carnotaurus, has become something more formidable due to the radiation here. Not only is it seemingly immune to the radiation, but the animal seems almost empowered by it. Another bizarre trait about Thanos s. is its affinity towards rocks. It will secrete a sweat-like substance that doubles as a strong adhesive and roll around on the ground, covering it in rocks to create a sort of armor. I’ve noticed this rocky covering makes the animal harder to hit, unless broken by numerous hits to it or one powerful explosion of some sort. However, there is only one thing Thanos s. Loves more than rocks. Gems. There have been numerous cases in which I’ve stumbled upon a horde of gems, only to find that once I pick one up, I’m being chased by the most rage-filled beast on all of Ark. Not even a Giga has seemed this angry by anything. There have been times where I have watched a Thanos s. take on creatures three or four times its size over the glowing stones and win. I’ve also seen Thanos s. roll around in gems, adhering them to their bodies to ensure nobody tries to their hand at snatching one of their precious stones. I do admit, it gives them a nice glowing pattern to their bodies that is unlike a lot of the creatures I’ve seen. Domesticated: I’d assume someone who has the guts to attempt taming this creature would find it a pretty remarkable ally and powerful war mount. Finding a way to get through its armor, knocking it out, and giving it some gems would likely be the best method of taming it, however I’ve never attempted such a dangerous endeavor. The tamer would find that Thanos s. has a remarkable sort of “6th sense” in finding gems. This is likely a side-effect of the radiation from the red gems. Perhaps something interesting happens once Thanos s. has one of every kind of gem. I haven’t really stuck around to find out. Abilities: Ability 1: Bite Ability 2: Sense Gems. Locates the nearest gem for the player and creates a beacon that the player can only see while mounted on the creature. Ability 3: Rage mode. Only with a saddle equipped. Players can activate a sort of “carrot on a stick” function with the saddle, but instead of a carrot, a gem is placed on the stick. The gem being just out of reach at all times will make Thanos s. go into rage mode, increasing its speed and attack power as long as the gem is in front of it. Ability 4: Rock armor. Thanos s. will roll on the ground, covering itself in a rocky armor. The creature will gain a second health bar for the armor. This takes reduced damage from wooden tools and arrows, as well as most dinosaur attacks. Passive 1: Gem hoarding mode. Players can set a return point for Thanos s. and he begins to hunt for gems. It will pick up any loose gems it finds and place it in the return point. Passive 2: Radiation Immune Passive 3: Gem rage. If a non-ally creature or player takes a gem within a radius of Thanos s, this will active its gem rage. Thanos s. Will gain the effects of rage mode and will follow the gem-nabber a further distance than most dinosaurs will follow any aggressor in-game. Attaching gems: Players can attach gems to Thanos s. which will empower the animal further. Green gems: Increased speed Blue gems: Increased radius of gem sense Red gems: Increased damage Players can attach up to 5 of each gem onto the creature, stacking the effects up to 5 times.
  3. Scutosaurus, the Mineral Master Species: Scutosaurus Talosus Time: Late Permian Diet: Mineralivore\Herbivore Temperament: Territorial Any art or dossiers are welcomed. WILD I have never seen the animal equivalent of those rock elementals back in scorched. These trike sized parareptiles are ruff skinned and sturdy but almost as fast as a morellatops. I initially thought they were herbivorous, but after seeing them eat stone after stone, metal nodes, and crystal deposits, it’s safe to say they’re not just vegetarian. They eat so much of the stuff that they grow rock and gem manes. They can be found in every part of Aberration but they’re a bit on the rarer side of every zone. Living in the more shaded locations, foraging in herds of 3 to 4. They’re heavily built with large upper bodies, similar looking to the Moschops, but more elongated coming in colorations of dark bluish greens and grays. The main feature of the Scutosaurus Talosus is its mineral armor that it gets from its diet allowing it to take on giants like Spinosaurus and Karkinos. (Art by Mark Witton) TAMING Scutosaurus taming is difficult, it’s too territorial to be passive tamed and to resistant to narcotic effects as it eats many Ascerbic mushrooms. The only way to tame it is to blow up its armor and feed it minerals. Basically, Scutosaursus’ armor is not ingrained into it, meaning that you’re able to chip it off. Guns and dinos won’t work well though, you’ll only remove a small bit of its armor. Explosives are recommended or anything with high AOE damage. Once all armor is removed, the Scutosaurus will panic, eating any rock or metal node in sight to replenish its armor. This IS YOUR CHANCE TO FEED IT, repeat this process until it’s tamed. FOOD REQUIREMENTS Flint (bad) Stone (ok) Crystal (good) Metal (great) Element (best, but it will take a little damage. It won’t ruin its taming effectiveness) SCUTOSAURUS’ ABILITIES MINERAL ARMOR UPGRADE STATION Starting with mineral armor, the scutosaurus eats many minerals. As a result, the body will spit out the waste on the scutosaurus’ back, causing there to be mineable gems sprouting out its back; creating a small bit of light as Scutosaurus don’t provide their own bioluminescence. All you need is a pickaxe to mine the gems off its back and depending on the region, you may find that your scutosaurus it will have different gem types: green gems, blue gems, and red gems. Scutosaurus can be found where these gems are found. There can be up to 4 nodes of gems on its back. Same goes for tamed ones, just feed them the gems you want produced. 1 gem = 1 node (you must wait one hour for all gem nodes to fill up.) Their mineral diet also dictates their type of armor. Each armor gives Scutosaurus different effects. FLINT ARMOR: Not too different from the scutosaurus’ natural armor but it catches fire way easier, even sparks from guns can ignite it. Melee attacking it with human or dino while on fire will set the attacker on fire. STONE ARMOR: The most basic, you gain more armor, and you gain the ability to launch boulders at foes. Not doing as much damage as a Chalicotherium, but it is faster. CRYSTAL ARMOR: It doesn’t give any actual armoring but comes with other effects. You get 10% speed, and 50% resistance to debuff effects like fire, freeze, torpor, stuns etc. METAL ARMOR: You get much more armor and cannot be picked up nor knocked back, but you’re 10% slower and you can’t swim. You can only walk at the bottom of the water. ELEMENT ARMOR: The strongest but also most dangerous. Feeding it to your Scutosaurus will cause it to take 20% damage. You will enter corrupted rage mode for 5 minutes with a 3-hour in-game cool down. The scutosaurus’ eyes turn a purplish pink, and you get 90% resistance, 10% speed, 30% damage buff, and if bitten, reflect a small amount of damage back. After 5 minutes, the scutosaurus will take 50% of its health in damage and enter sluggish mode. It will move slower, regen slower, and can only walk. The 3-hour cooldown will come into effect, and you must wait for it to wear off. UPGRADE STATION The scutosaurus can eat and spit out items to upgrade gear, such as saddles and weapons. Just put the item in its inventory with the required resources. This will be slightly more expensive than the item’s original cost but upgrading mastercraft items to ascendant will be 2x more expensive. The build quality and success rate will be dictated by the scutosaurus’ crafting skill. However, it doesn’t matter how high the scutosaurus’ crafting skill is, the cap is always lower than blueprints. Upgrading items with the scutosaurus is a quick way of upgrading equipment but in the long run, finding Blueprints holds a better result. ATTACKS · Basic attack is a single foot stomp, good damage and hits decently fast. Holding the button will do a duo foot stomp, great damage with a slight cool down. It also uproots buried creatures. · The second attack is a bite that collects good crystal, flint, and gems, and does extra damage to Flack and Tek armor. · The third “attack” is a stomp roar. Just for effect. · Jump button is a belly slam that shatters your current armor so you can replace it with a new one. This does the most knock back and damage. · Press the two attack buttons in Stone Armor to throw boulders. WEAKNESSES While Scutosaurus might be a good sprinter, it has bad agility. Its turning circle also isn’t the greatest, it’s better equipped to fight larger creatures and its armor can be chipped fairly easy if your opponent has a plan. (model in WWB) Basically, I wanted a creature that takes the aspects of the gems and rocks of Aberration, and it’s always good to have strong herbivores on the roster. This also doesn’t replace the Doedicurus or Ankylosaurus in particular. VOTE FOR THE SCUTO And please tell me more ideas to make this guy even better.
  4. Name: Argentinosaurus Huiculensis Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Territorial Dossier: Argentinosaurus is a tyrannosaurid sauropod accustomed to life among members of its own species, which means that it is more than prepared to face packs or groups of creatures that seek to disturb the peace of the enormous sauropod. Don't get to close if you don't want one of his legs on you. The Argentinosaurus Huiculensis specimen found on the ARK is slightly larger than usual, being the herbivore equivalent of the two largest predators on the ARK. Argentinosaurus has the ability to disarm coordinated attacks by dealing a strong whiplash with its tail to the enemy creature, causing enormous confusion and making it impossible to distinguish between a friendly creature and an enemy creature. Tameable: yes Rideable: yes Breedable: yes (same time as a Quetzal or Yuty) Abilities: -Primary attack: Just hit with one of his front legs (the leg who moves depends if the objective are at right or left) -Secundary Attack : Argentinosaurus will put in his back legs and charge a devastating hit with his front legs (while the creature is in his back legs he could move his body in 360° like the Spino) -"Pack predator counter" or special Attack : When two or more Argentinosaurus are in a same group the higher lever will be able to make a whip tail attack (like a pack leader buff) this will turn in a "rage effect" the first enemy predator that he hits for 10s, similar as the Giga Rage (this effect will make the Dino turn back and attack any thing in his visual camp, including ally creatures and riders, this ability was a cooldown of 80s). This "confusion" or "rage" effect can be activated on any carnivore creature. Armor: When Argentinosaurus gets a hit will auto activate his armor, this armor are the equivalent of a metal wall (hp10k). This very strong armor protect the Argentinosaurus from bleeding attacks and reduce the received damage in 20% (except proyectiles, explosives, turrets). This armor is an adaptation for his wild life style it means that his armor are not prepared for modern weapons. This armor can be destroyed/disabled with explosives and tek munition (turrets, tek rifles, tek grenades, etc). And only can be regenerated after 10min with no damage revived, if Argentinosaurus gets hit his armor regeration will stop. This armor could be represented as a blue light that covers the Argentinosaurus body with some shards of armor to complement the "illusion*of an armor Domesticated: To tame the Argentinosaurus fist we have to show our dominance. First we have to broke his armor, then reduce his health to 50% or less and then fire him with tranq darts until he gets unconscious, will need a great amount of it so prepare yourself. It is important to know that this creature needs to stay close to other Argentinosaurus for at least 1 hour every 48 hours, if these requirements are not met, the probability that the Argentinosaurus will not pay attention to your commands will increase. (commands such as attack, mate or follow) If this point is reached, it is enough to bring the Argentinosaurus closer to another member of its same species, after which a 2-hour countdown will appear, if the Argentinosaurus remains accompanied during this time it will once again be obedient to your orders. Saddle: (CONCEPT IN THE COMMENTS) Argentinosaurus platform saddle will count hit a protected "cabin" for the rider and a turret in the middle for the saddle that can be used by another survivor, this "cabin" protects the rider from being dismounted (as the Andrewsarchus). Can be learned at level 95 and will have a cap armor in 75 Wild lvl 1 and lvl 150 stats: HP: 5500 - 15000 aprox Stamina: 300 - 1200 aprox Oxigen: 400- 800 aprox Food: 6670 - 15700 aprox Weight: 800 - 2300 aprox Melee: 100 - 270 aprox Speed movement: 100 - 100
  5. Chilantaisaurus Chilantaisaurus was a large theropod, estimated as weighing between 2.5 metric tons (2.8 short tons)[2] and 4 metric tons (4.4 short tons). Tailwhip, it will use it's tail to hit creatures. 6. Healing, passive healing. Drops. 1. Keratin . 2. Raw meat . 3. Hide. 4. Chilantaisaurus claw's. Gathers. 1. Chitin. 2. Raw meat. 3. Raw prime meat. 4. Keratin. 5. pelt. Saddle. The saddle will be like a English horse riding saddle . TAMING. This creature will be a knockout tame, after it's unconscious it will be fed chitin to tame. This is a Wikipedia link this creature https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chilantaisaurus
  6. "Never before has a creature on the ark surprised me with their physical prowess as the Chindesaurus Tyrantrum, a native to the deserts of Scorched Earth. Larger than expected, but still slight of frame, my first time observing one of these beasts cross paths with a fire wyvern is something I'll never forget. The Island's dreaded giganotosaurus may become enraged, but the Chindesaurus is just downright bloodthirsty and angry in combat. Usually walking around with a sort of unusual calm, Chindesaurus doesn't seem like much at first, it even walks past small herbivores that usually fall prey to larger carnivores, but do not be deceived as that wyvern was... When threatened, the Chindesaurus releases hidden retractable spines along their backs, arms, head, and tail, and seem to launch into a frenzy as they take damage, their speed and adrenaline strength is truly something else. I suppose one could make an excellent travel mount, but seeing how they don't respond to attempts to passively feed them, nor do they seem phased by tranquilizers... Anyone planning on domesticating this creature had best be ready to face their adrenaline induced fury, I can only imagine the calm induced in them after a tough fight is the only time one could hope to build trust with this berserker." - Helena Walker Attacks Bite, harvests corpses and fiber, can damage wood Tail Whip, knocks back targets, can damage stone Talon Pounce, lowers the armor of the targets in the aoe by 30%, can damage wood Spike Armor, retracts or exposes the Chindesaurus's spikes, reducing incoming damage by 10% and causing a bleed debuff to attackers that lowers their attack power by 5%, stacking up to 10 times. (The longer it is attacked in melee, the less damage it takes from the opponent) Jump/climb, can jump very high for its size and instantly jet downwards with Talon Pounce, if jump is held it will grab onto surfaces and climb like a thyla, but able to leap up over ledges or sideways to navigate as long as it has stamina. Unique Ability, Adrenaline Rage After taking 1% max hp worth of damage, the Chindesaurus will gain a stack of adrenaline, capping out at 30%. Each stack will increase hp regen by 0.05% and damage dealt by 1.5%. When at full stacks, the Chindesaurus's spikes extend fully and it enters berserker mode for 60 seconds, regaining 25% health instantly, but losing hp regen. While in berserker mode, the Chindesaurus gains the following effects- - Kills extend the mode by 1 second - Speed increases by 25% and stamina regens at 1% per second, even while attacking or exhausted - Immune to fire status, net (spikes cut through nets), stuns, and protects the rider from dismounts. - Jumps higher and is immune to fall damage -Enhances skills, bite has higher attack speed, tail whip becomes a tail slam with higher damage and aoe, Talon Pounce inflicts a 50% armor cripple, spike armor toggle extends spikes to damage everything around it. - After berserker mode ends, gains a debuff that prevents berserker mode and spike armor for 15 seconds. Passively resists- Fall damage, radiation, retaliation damage (Kentro, arthro etc) Taming Method- Attack one until it enters berserker mode, and survive while preventing it from getting kills to make it enter the exhausted state, upon which it will lose aggro and sit down, during this time it can be fed in order, Exceptional Kibble, Wyvern Milk, Prime Meat, Cactus Sap, Raw Meat to be tamed. Effectiveness is based on current hp, if you let it regenerate to full health it will tame with 100% effectiveness. If you attack it while enraged, the hp will regenerate very slowly, causing a less effective tame. Be careful, they can climb very fast and jump after flyers when wild! Size- Slightly shorter than rex, but much slimmer.
  7. Species : Prolibytherium magnieri Time : Lower Miocene Diet : Nectarivore Temperament : Neutral (Male), Passive Run (Female) A Depiction of the Prolibytherium My idea to tame them, The mechanics would be similar to taming a dinopithecus, except its the inverse as you would need the in a group. As its said earlier on, those a nectarivore (In a desert I know, but hear me out.) so you would need to feed the rare-flowers, wich would be kinda dangerous sees in there ability afterward. so i would put that they prefer rare-flowers wich would still make them enter their beserk mode, but i would add another kind of flowers that would could be grown or found at the same place as rare-flowers. this flowers would be less efficient but would make the taming more safe for everyone, as i see drama already happening. THey would obviously eat it in passive. Early and end Game : so those creature would be easy to tame early games, but there beserk mode can definitively make them better mid-game dino. But i want them to be also sometime use end-game so i would make them able to harvest oils and sap incredebly goods, and they coulds also boots the production of a oils-Pump. And another abilty below could also be very useful when hunting deathworm. As said in the dossier they would have a size similar to the equus They could easily out run most creatures in the games, but they would slow down the more hurt they get to do more damage. Ability Primary Male : Male Primary attack could be use as a whip to move tamed dino around and pickup silk. Ability Deathworm detection : Those antilope could be able to detect deathworm even before they are here, so it would also work with golem, reaper and any other creature that can dig. THis would be in the form of weird wave that would come from the direction of the creatures those would be blue naturally, but if the creature is an alpha, those would become red. Wich could be very useful for alpha basilisk and deathworm later on. Ability Mega-Pack : Prolibytherium as a weird social life, wich could be used in game as they're could be an group alpha for a maximum of 10 Prolibytherium, but when multiple pack would be near one of the other the higher level male would become (alpha king). Wich like normal alpha statues, upgrade the defense stats of the creature. Except Alpha King Prolibytherium Are insanely stronger than the normal alpha prolibytherium. As this statues would give him 50% damage reduction, 15% more damage and 10% more movement speed. This statue would also affect every member of the super-Pack as they would benefit of a 15%-25% damage reduction. I think it would be very cool to have somekind of better way to see who is the alpha-king of the group, like an golden-redish texture on the horns. Ability SandDispersion : This ability would be very simple, as the concept of this is to project a tiny sandstorm in the direction you're facing this would of course have a coulddown and would be balanced to do almost nothing to bigger creature. this would also had a little bit of sand in the inventory of every enemy tames or players hitted by the attack. Ability Clay Production : Also a simple quality of life abilty, as prolibytherium would be capable of making the double of clay when crafted in it inventory, the craft would not be sped up or nothing, just 2x on the clay production that he would make automaticly in its inventory when the two material meets. Ability Flowers-Rage : This ability is way more complex than the 2 previous ability, as when a prolibytherium would have rare-Flowers in its inventory, if you pressed a key like C or ControlLeft. He would enter a mode called BeserkMode, This mode would change the texture of the horn and muscles, as yes hes muscle would become anormaly big, a bit like the ferox but less-Visible, because its still normal, this effect would greatly augment his damage, and speed. This Would also be even stronger if this ability is used on a Alpha-King Prolibytherium. This would have a duration of about 2 to 3 minute and would use quite alot of rare flowers, like 5 or 15 a shot and would have a couldown of 5 minutes, but would be abable to keep it in its form by feeding it more rare flowers. Keybinds attack : LeftClick : Normal attack (would inflict bleed if the creature is a female, and high knockback if its a male) RigthClick : The Sand Dispertion attack (Like the description earlier on) Key C : Would enter beserk mode using rare flowers. Key Controlleft : Cosmetic roar. Or more like a noise. Prolibytherium would finitively not be as strong as all the other dangerous creature in the games, but i would still love see to majestic but strange antilope run around the map of schorched earth, i think they could definitively add more to the atmosphere of this map. By the way thanks for reading this concept, see y'all laters. Uppvoted this creature and comment if you liked this concept. Thank You Y'all.

    Giganotosaurus

    From the album: Dossiers

Common Name: Giganotosaurus Species: Giganotosaurus Furiosa Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Angry Wild: Giganotosaurus Furiosa is an enormous predator, larger even than the Tyrannosaurus or Spinosaurus. While greater in size than those storied predators, it can be somewhat less dangerous when encountered in the wild, due to its sluggish speed. Even still, getting cornered or run down by a Giganotosaurus means certain death for nearly creature! Fighting a Giganotosaurus directly is never a good idea, as its rage rapidly grows with every hit it takes. With this rage, it builds increasing reserves of energy to use, making its iron jawed bites progressively more deadly and enhancing stamina. Add to this the fact that its huge body enables it to take a tremendous amount of punishment, and you have a creature that is generally better avoided or outsmarted than attacked head-on. Domesticated: Taming Giganotosaurus is a dangerous prospect. Its rage reaction even when tamed, can sometimes cause it to briefly turn of its own tribe. Indeed it may even throw off its rider is it has been angered! And yet, The sheer size and immense power that the Giganotosaurus possesses means that some factions endeavor to tame it as a fear-inducing "Captal" beast of war even at great risk!
