  1. It is not surprising that a lot of players don't have much time to play on PVP, these players often get raided and forced to start from the ground up, resulting in them leaving the game. I would like to propose a solution wich will not only solve this problem, but it also may cause a large migration of PVE players onto the PVP servers, improving the overall experience on both, PVE and PVP servers (Less and More players per server respectively). The solution I propose is this: To make a "special inventory" mechanic (Quantities may vary, but for me this would work): 0-5000 slots per character, up to 5000 slots per tribe, this can be either: 1 Player with 5000 slots 2 Players with 2500 slots each 5 Players with 1000 slots each 10 players with 500 slots each 50 players with 100 slots each 100 players with 50 slots each The owner of the tribe should be able to see what other members have on their "special inventory" and adjust the amount of slots for each member (never surpassing the 5000 tribe limit or leaving unused slots) this feature will make mega tribes unable to raid any small tribe, and prevent solo players and small tribes from losing anything of value For this to work, all tribes must be recognized in all servers (Once you join a tribe, even if you move to another server you are still part of that tribe). ------------------ This "special inventory" should have a 24 hour refresh delay ONLY after leaving a tribe (So no one on a big tribe can leave while being raided and make a new tribe to get 1000 slots) It also should be: - Unable to be raided - Easily accessible (no obelisks, terminals or transmitters) preferably accesible from our own inventory - Expiration time free (so you can leave your stuff there for months if necessary) - A place where time stops (No cryopods discharging or fertilized eggs spoiling) - IP and Hardware ID based (so no one can exploit it with multiple characters or accounts) ---------------- Hopefully this can be implemented on ARK Ascended, that would be the icing of the cake. The Tarbosaurus strangely resembles a trex has nothing in common with it, The Tarbosaurus is a super predator who lives in hostile and very dangerous areas with a desire to confront other super predators, so the giganotosaur or carcharodontosaurus because the predator hates any type of carnivores to the point that the male kills each other, the females are the same as the males except that the Tarbosaurus does not attack the opposite The Tarbosaurus has 2 abilities the first he is next to or sees other predators he receives a light resistance booster called combat armor, the second ability and when the Tarbosaurus sees or remains next to the predators a damage booster activates and the more it takes damage or the more the huge damage received its damage booster increases as the carcharodontosaurus but you must pay attention to increase damage activates and increases if it takes damage only from other predators The Tarbosaurus waits more than voted

  4. We need a setting that can be enable for passive creatures to be aggressive and carnivores to be EXTRA aggressive to add more survival to the game. Imagine on the beach everything in aggro range will attack you this would add to the survival. We also need the ability to boost WILD creatures Damage without affecting tame creatures stats when tamed. Also the game can use a HORDE MODE survival mode something like 7 Days To Die. We can set the timer to determine when the wave begins. Sort of like Extinction OSD Drops or Element vein waves but instead the WILD creatures comes to destroy your home-base. You have to fortify and be prepared to defend your base from Alphas including Alpha rexes alpha raptors alpha carnos gigas rexes theris challys and other regular creatures. The max tier in this mode is STONE sort of like primitive+. This means your base can be destroyed during a horde attack. Waves can be 3 days 5 days 7 days or 10 days, we can customize the waves and settings to our liking. This would make PVE essentially PVP but with AI's which would add tremendously value to the game. I can see ALOT of players choosing to play Horde Mode over other modes, especially someone who enjoys PVE and PVP but don't have time to play PVP or don't like the RISK that comes with PVP. In conclusion you would spend your week building fortifying and breeding super dinos to help defend your base during Horde Waves which would be set to 7 Days on official servers and custom on dedicated servers. I think a mode like this would inject NEW life into ark. This mode would be crowded so players who have less time to play and compete in the default pvp mode can get their fix in the Horde mode. I would love to see a Mode like this get added to the playlist. ASA needs NEW modes give players more things to do. PVE gets pretty boring once you are established, adding a horde mode would keep you on more engaged 7 days a week. You would get to enjoy the same PVE experience except every 7 days you have to defend yourself from the WILD. Also add a setting to determine how long before the waves end. Basic information Hummanguera is a flying creature similar in appearance to Pteranodon and Tropeognathus, but slightly smaller. Appearance is equated to the Snow Owl, Velonosaurus and Managarmr with their dark 'cyber' limbs. It is a non-aggressive creature until the player attacks it. If the player does start attacking, Hummanguera will start spitting oil in response. Getting oil on the player will add a debuff of immobility and will not allow movement for a couple of seconds, if the player is next to other hostile dinos, then he will not be able to fight back. Hummanguera lives in and around the Desert Dome. To fly this dino you need a level 50 survivor. For taming, you will need to have some sulfur and oil with you, and wait for the Hummanguera to fly up to you. After it lands, throw a bola at it and knock it out. PVE use As mentioned above Hummanguer is a good way to collect oil. It collects oil with its lingering tongue in a similar way as hummingbirds collect the nectar of flowers. Also, this dyno can carry a lot of weight, but this only applies to some resources (oil, gems, obsidian). Flight speed is average, but can dive and increase it. Also, Hummanguera can be used as a storage that gives out the right amount at the request. It is a live-like locator that highlights resources in a small radius while on the ground and in a large radius while in the air. PVP use Humanguera can be used in combat, with enough oil it can spit it at other survivors, which the rider can then set on fire with flaming arrows. It is advisable to engage in battle with tribemates for better efficiency. Has an advantage over Phoenixes, Fire Wyverns and Survivors with flamethrowers. Vulnerability is the small size that exposes the rider to danger.  Temperament: Aggressive Wild: Megistotherium is a group Mammal (and similar to a Dinopithecus group they have babys in their groups). 
Megisthotheriums are Aggressive and have an interesting behavior. They hide Stuff wich they hunted. In their hidden stuff are consumables like egg variants and meat variants, 20% Flak Bps chance, saddle Bps (including raw mutton meat and a new bone item wich you get from their hidden stuff) to be found if you find their hidden stuff.The hidden stuff will look like a hidden Purlovia if hidden under a surface.The higher the level of a Megistotherium is the better stuff you get. The hidden stuff will disappear in the wild like a loot drop after some time.
Taming: Like a Carcharodontosaurus you need to give him a corpse or more to ride it. Then the taming will be like a Equus. Unlike a equus you must feed it meat.
Tamed: If you managed to tame a Megistotherium it will be a strong mammal to ride and to hunt creatures. It will be good for raising Babys, to travel and hiding stuff wich does not disappear when the Megistotherium is tamed(unlike a wild Megistotherium). Spawns: the Megistotherium spawns at the ice biome and the desert biome. Abilities: -the Megistotherium is immune to bleeding Damage -the Megistotherium is a stego and paracer, Titans killer he deals more damage on tanky dinos -if the Megistotherium hit a creature with the bone crusher effect the creature can’t heal when the bone crusher effect is gone (carcharodontosaurus or daeodon or other Dino’s can’t heal) -has a roar which heals your creatures for 20 seconds. a roar for every 3 minutes to have a cooldown
 -can jump like a Shadowmane -has a group buff
 (increases more speed and damage) -Players get cold resistance -Can hide stuff -has a saddle and a Tek saddle (the tek saddle can track wild Dinos and his own hidden stuff -Has bone crusher effect
 -it’s bigger than an shadowmane -fast (like a shadowmane) With the bone crusher effect a process occurs that can go up to 100%. It depends on how strong the prey is but when Megistotherium bites the prey then the bone crusher effect increases a little if it’s a strong prey or a lot if it’s a rather weaker prey. If the bone crusher effect is at 50% then the prey will be slowed to 35%. If the bone crusher effect is at 100% then the prey will be stopped and the prey cant attack for 8 Seconds. -The bone item 
the bone item you get from the hidden stuff of a wild Megistotherium is good when it comes to raising babys if you give this bone to a baby creature, it will get a buff. This buff will make the baby grow 20% faster, make the baby starve less and will give the baby 15% more imprint if imprinted. Another way to get the bone item is by building the bone with 5 raw prime meats in Megistotheriums inventory when Megistotherium has it’s saddle on(similar to the equus where you can build lassos with the equus having the saddle on). Since the bone is valuable it takes 1 min minutes to build this item, if you put the bone on a carnivore in its inventory and eat, it takes 30% less damage from other creatures, your carnivore deals 30% more damage to creatures for 5 minutes. PvE: This creature is a great creature to use for traveling and hunting. It’s also good for raising babys. 
PvP: This creature is good for Hiding some Stuff and defending bases.

  18. What are you saying, Giga and Carcha are power? Not today! Wild: It's been a pretty quiet day, especially for this post of apopsis infested with a bunch of infected creatures. I watched the mammoths calmly pass and no one touches. But suddenly I felt that the earth was trembling. I thought it was because of the steps of the mammoths. But suddenly a huge dinosaur jumped out from behind the trees. I thought it was a Carcha because there were a lot of spikes. But then I realized... it's not a Carcha. The mammoths defended themselves, but this did not stop the giant. He let out such a loud roar. It was so loud and powerful that I almost went deaf, everything around me became blurry and I was rocking. But I still saw how the mammoths tucked their tail, how the giant grabbed his jaw of one of the mammoths by the neck and held it. One mammoth died, and the rest worked. After that, the giant began to eat the body of the defeated mammoth. I decided to approach the giant to study. He noticed me, but .... did not attack. He continues to just eat his own food. According to the proportions of the skull and body, I realized that this is a Tyrannotitan. When trying to get closer to him, he began to growl. He probably doesn't like certain foods. After I studied him and he finished his food, he left. Here's a quiet day for you... Tamed: I saw some tribes belong to the Tyrannotitans. They were the size of a gigantosaurus. They were used to defend or attack other tribes. Tyrannotitan is a very majestic and resilient dinosaur. With one paw, this predator shudders the earth. But the main weapon of this giant is its roar. It is so loud that enemy creatures are afraid of the greatness of this giant. Even Giga and Carja can doubt their own strength. Allies at the same time felt a certain confidence. Sometimes they could growl so that some creatures were simply blown away, and I'm not even exaggerating this. Hard titanium... Now let's make it easier... Appearance: Looks like a huge dinosaur, about the size of a Giga or even slightly larger than a Giga. There are mini rudiments of sexual dimorphism. To do this, you need to go through the Quick Time Event. If the opponent loses, he will be stuck for 5 seconds. To turn the neck, you will need to hire the mouse wheel in those moments when the enemy is weakened. This will be indicated on the edges of the screen by mini bloody footprints. He simply swallows small creatures or hits the ground (if he fails to swallow). Paw stomp: [X] Rear paw stomp - works like an Acrocanthosaurus attack from the ARK: Additions mod [Holding X] Empowered Paw Stomp - Makes 3 stomp with hind paws, when used, enemies will stagger vision. This can stun and knock down enemies in a small radius. Has cooldown... Strength and Resilience. [Q]Armored Shell: The Tyrannotitan can activate its armored shell, greatly increasing its defense and durability, making it nearly invulnerable to enemy attacks. Has cooldown... Counterattack: If an enemy attacks a Tyrannotitan while it is activating Carapace Spike, it will take damage from its front paws and spikes, making its attack less effective. If the charge fails, there will be a recharge! Little things: If you hit a Tyrannotitan in the back, it will hurt you. Females are softer in character than males... Taming: Taming Tyrannotitan = 7 circles of hell! First, you need to find traces of Tyrannotitan. They will lead you to his place of residence. Then the BOSS FIGHT will begin! 1 attack: he summons small carnivorous dinos. By type: raptors, carno, etc. Attack 2: Tyrannotitan runs ahead, knocking down everything in its path. Attack 3: The Tyrannotitan stomps with its back paw, you will need to jump to avoid the shockwave. Attack 4: The Tyrannotitan lets out its roar. You have 2 options in this case. 1 - you will shoot at him, knocking down the charge, 2 - hook the cat to the ground and hold on tight. All these attacks (except 1) will deplete the Tyrannotitan and sooner or later he will either run out of steam and lie down, or stumble and fall. This is where a new item comes into play: the Rope Launcher (like from Horizon Zero Dawn)! You will need to shoot the titan with this weapon and get him to give up and just bow his head to you. Next, you will need to cut the ropes and put a special feeder. Tyrannotitan will start eating from it and you will need to drive away small predators who want to eat meat. One shot is enough and they will run away. A couple of minutes and Tyrannotitan is at your disposal! Females have 2 ways to tame! 1 - The same bossfight, 2 - Let the male ride bareback to the female. It's already 50% to 50%. Collaboration with Yutyrannus: Tyrannotitan is not interested in creatures smaller than him, except that he perceives Mammoths or Tyrannosaurus as food. But there is one exception - Yutyrannus. These two are more likely to cooperate for the sake of profit in the wild. BUT! A tamed Yutyrannus can pair with a Tyrannotitan. With the joint work of these two - the roar of the Tyrannotitan becomes even more furious! Tyrannotitan can also team up with Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus. In such cases, all 4 become very strong! I'm waiting for your ideas!
  19. Hello! Extinction was the first map I ever played on when I first bought ARK in 2018 and it's been one of my favourites since! BUT, there is something that I had recently noticed about it and that was the fact it didn't have its own shoulder pet like the other story maps do! INTROUDCING THE STINKBOMB! The Stinkbomb can be found all over the wasteland, where it blends in with the other Corrupted Creatures of the map. Because of this, large Corrupted Creatures, like the Rex and Giga, barely notice it! Non Corrupted and Smaller Corrupted Creatures, like the Raptor and Dilo, do notice it and will try and kill them! Once the Stinkbomb gets below 50% of its health it will play dead and release a gas, with a effect similar to Chalicotherium's poops, which will drive away whatever is attacking it! The Stinkbomb will be "Playing Possum" for 30 seconds, which will give the player an opportunity to sneak over to it and tame it! They have a taming method similar to the Astrodelphis in Genesis: Part 2, where you have to feed them Kibble (Their favorite!) to tame them. Depending on the level, they will want certain tiers of Kibble. Once they wake up, they will run away, but curiously follow you from a distance for a certain amount of time. If they see you walking up to them, they will pass out again (Watch out! They will still release the gas!) and you then have a opportunity to feed them more Kibble! Repeat this process until you tame your new friend! What does your new little friend do? The Stinkbomb helps you tame creatures faster! I love taming creatures in ARK, but the food drain on a lot of them is painfully slow. The Stinkbomb will release a gas from it that will slowly decrease the hunger on any creature you are trying to tame! The stats for the Stinkbomb work the same as a light pet from Aberration! With Stamina being how long the smells will be released, Oxygen being how fast it will regenerate said lost smells and Melee being the range at which the appetizer effect will effect its surroundings! You can also craft a "Appetizer Grenade" in its inventory that will effect players, tamed and wild creatures! Recipe: 20x Narcoberries, 15x Stimberries, 5x Spoiled Meat, 1x Smoke Grenade. Dossier (Please note: I'm not good at English, so apologies if there are any mistakes!) "I never thought I would see Trichosurus Vulpecula ever again when I left Oz, but here they are surviving rather well. These little guys have managed to blend in with the corrupted creatures of the wasteland, rather that be their decaying color scheme or the element within them to trick the corrupted creatures isn't certain. Wild: Like their western relative, when they are a target to predators they will, depending on the creature, either outrun them or "Play Possum" and ammit a foul smell that will chase away whatever is trying to eat them. Once they are in the clear they will jump back up and continue scavenging around for anything they can find to eat. Tamed: Other then their foul smelling magic trick, these guys have the ability to also give off a smell that makes creatures loose their appetite quicker then normal. This makes taming creatures a lot quicker. This ability can also be used to make what I like to call “Appetizer Grenades”, these can be crafted in the possums inventory which it can then be throw to creatures (or people) that are to far away to reach. This makes these guys the real Stinkbomb."
  20. Jeholopterus - Corruption vampire Extinction is map that is largely defined by it's corruption. Through out the wasteland are hundreds of corrupted creatures that are highly aggressive, that players must face in nearly every circumstance. There are many creatures that are great against corrupted creatures like the enforcer, but there isn't creature that specialises fighting against this corruption. Introducing - Jeholopterus, the dracula for the corrupted. Species: Jeholopterus ninchengensis Time: Middle-Late Jurassic Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild: For once, I can say I'm lucky when it comes to coming across deadly animals across this wastelands. Jeholopterus is a small predator that only preys on element infested beast and has no interest on hariming non corrupted animals. They can be found all around the wasteland preying on unsuspecting infected organism. Alone these small aggressive flyers tend to hunt smaller corrupted animals like raptors, in a similar way to desmodus draculae. The creaute crapples down on smaller corrupted creatures and sucks out the element from them, killing the victim. Due to it's small size an unattended Jeholopterus is too weak to face off larger predaotrs, however I've heard from other survivors of large Jeholopterus packs hunting down corrupted dinosaurs like a rex. According to them, they saw the entire pack of these element suckers fly on to the tyrannosaurs back and begin to suck it's life out. To make things worse for anyone corrupted, I've learned that the more Jeholopterus feeds on element, the more viscious and routhless they become. They become faster, stronger and even a small pack of 3 is enough to kill the strongest corrupted animal and that only leaves them more hungry for element. Abilities and features: A shoulder pet for your dinos: Jeholopterus is a bit too large for it to be your average shoulder pet (about the same size as a seeker from aberration.) To carry them around, they will latch on to your tames and depending the size of your tame, you can carry multiple of them. Latch ability: Similar to the deinonychus, these small vampires will latch onto their prey and eat them alive. Combined this with the dino carrying mechanic, you can command an army of flying jehos on a large mount. Tek and corruption mode: Because the jeholopterus is all about eating element, it has two modes for taking out element invested foes. The first is corrupted, this is all for taking out corrupted creatures and best suited for orbital supply drops and elemental veins. When this mode is active, every corrupted creature in the area will be highlighted in a purple outline, making them visible through to the terrain, making it impossible for them to hide from you. Besides that, this mode also gives them a massive buff against corrupted dinos. When a jeho latches onto a corrupted dino, the prey will get a massive speed debuff, damage degrees and will take more damage from other attacks (this ability will stack depending how many jehos are latched onto one creature). In this mode, jeho will be able to detect any orbital supply drop or elemental vein on the map. And for a visual effect, the creature will have a purple tint. The second is tek mode Tek mode is perfect for PvP. This mode will outline anything tek related near them (Survivors wearing tek, tek structures, meks, tek creatures etc). The atennas on their head will have a tiny EMP ability that will disable tek turrets near them. They also do increased damage to anything tek and when latched onto a tek creature or mek, will significantly slow the victim down and drain them of their element, leaving them vulnerable to anything around them. For visual effect, the jeho will have a blue tint. other notes: •When hunting corrupted creatures, the Jeholopterus might have a chance to harvest unstable element. •they will glow any dark places around them with their atennas.   21. Wild- In all my years I never expected to find a eusocial pterosaur, let alone one with such a... unique method of defense. Sordes cornucrepitus are related to the more common dimorphodon, yet unlike their cousins they are extremely aggressive in the wild, resting in their towering wasteland hive structures where their king and queen sit safely at the central chamber. Whenever prey or predators venture too close to the hive a specialized caste of drone are released from the hive in droves whose only purpose is to dive bomb the enemy and through a process of muscular constriction rupture their own bodies, explode on impact dealing grievous damage to their target. The process in which the creatures self detonate is fascinating, possessing several specialized organs full of volatile chemicals surrounded by constricting muscular structures, at a whim the creature can constrict these structures, building enough pressure that the creatures body cavity ruptures, exposing the chemical contents to the air and causing a violent explosion full of bone shrapnel. The self destructive drones hatch ready to fly within moments and ready to give their lives in defense of their hive. Taming- Taming your own hive of sordes is a daunting task, one must approach and rile the hive, surviving the swarming onslaught of exploding drones, if one can exhaust the hives supply of drones then the king will emerge and attack the survivor, being the largest and most dangerous member of the hive this will in itself be a dangerous task, the king is a swift flier armed with sharp teeth and vitality surprising for such a small creature. When the king sordes falls in combat only the queen will remain, plump, helpless and unable to fly away she will attempt to flee the hive and crawl away to safety, it is at this time a survivor can attempt to win her trust through hand feeding of their favorite food, mutton, after this process is complete you can bring your new friend home to have her build a new hive tower. Domesticated- A domesticated sordes hive has a surprising number of uses, the structure itself being roughly as durable as stone structures built by survivors and can be commanded to hunt and gather meat from passing wild animals, this meat stored in large chambers within the hive where its spoilage will be drastically slowed. The base defense possibilities of the hive can also not be understated as few creatures can withstand the onslaught of the hives drone attacks. One can also take a queen and have her form a small "hive backpack" which cant house as many drones but can still make a potent defensive option while exploring the wastelands. A tamed hive can also have the chemical composition of its explosive drones influenced to achieve different explosive effects, incendiary, poisonous and flashbang drones have all been documented and who knows what other clever chemical compositions can be achieved. Breeding of sordes in captivity can technically be achieved, a "Founder" egg can occasionally be found in a destroyed hive the wild, this actually being a pair of two fused eggs that can only be incubated within a tamed hive, upon hatching this will produce a new king and queen that can produce an entire new hive upon maturity.

Common name: Anteosaurus Species: Anteosaurus Magnitoxis Time period: Permian Temperament: Aggressive Diet: Carnivore DOSSIER HERE: Couldn't get the file small enough while still legible, sorry! Wild Already the largest predators of the Permian period, these massive synapsids appear to have further grown to match the mighty Tyrannosaurus in size. Anteosaurus at first seemed uniquely immune to the corrupting influence of Element, and they indiscriminately go after both normal and corrupted prey. Upon further observation, though, I have found that they have developed a unique albeit disgusting way of avoiding the worst of the corruption: they regurgitate the nastiest parts of their meals as a form of both defense and offense. The ejected viscera emits a (thankfully odorless) purple mist that weakens most creatures caught in it. Inversely the Anteosaurus themselves become invigorated when in contact with the clouds of gas. Domesticated Figuring out how to tame these beasts has proven to be quite a challenge. I would wager that the most successful way for a tribe to earn one’s trust would be to exploit their ravenous nature by purposefully feeding it their own healthy creatures after they have been exposed to the Anteosaurus’ corrupting clouds. I imagine that in this case, the bigger, the better. A tamed Anteosaurus is a slow but powerful beast of war, designed to stack the deck in their own favor as much as possible. Opposition designed to siege and outlast may find themselves on the back foot once weakened by toxic fumes and facing a massive predator that is itself built to win drawn-out brawls. Already naturally bulky, Anteosaurus can momentarily brace themselves to survive almost any single hit, though repeated blows will break through their defenses and cause them to take more damage than normal. One interesting property of Anteosaurus’ unique diet is that, rarely, they can generate a unique substance I’ll term “Anteogris”. This resource can be used to, for a lack of a better term, “mutate” poor quality tools into higher grade items, though even the most skilled of smiths frequently fail to do so successfully. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wild Behaviour and Taming: Wild Wild Anteosaurus are found all across the Wasteland, though never in large numbers. As apex predators they attack almost everything they come across, with a preference for large and corrupted creatures. They’ll make short work of the latter, as both wild and tamed Anteosaurus hit the corrupted twice as hard. Normally, they will have an extra low aggro rage in regards to unmounted survivors as they prefer more filling meals. Wild Anteosaurus will only make use of the short ranged spit attack, and will not refill the resultant meat piles. They will activate their brace ability, but only below 50% health and after taking a significant amount of damage in a single hit. Taming Taming an Anteosaurus requires sacrificing tames to it, similar to the Troodon (though this time linked to something far better able to kill its “kibble”). In order for a tame to be counted towards taming progress, it must be badly poisoned from exposure to the toxic fumes emanating from Anteosaurus spit piles. Tames with high drag weights give more taming progress, following a similar formula as Rhyniognatha stat inheritance. Abilities: Spit and its effects Anteosaurus can spit two different types of projectile, depending on whether right click is tapped or held: The first, activated by tapping right click, is a long ranged spit that travels far and deteriorates quickly once it has landed. The meatpile generated is counted as a Thatch structure, and has 3,600 health. This pile degrades at a rate of 120 health per second (30 seconds total), and can not be refilled in any way. The poison mist cloud generated by this spit covers a maximum area roughly equivalent to 2x2 foundations. The second, activated by holding right click, is a short ranged spray that generates a much larger and sturdier pile of corrupted meat. This pile is considered a Wooden structure with 10,000 health, draining at 55 health per second (just over 3 minutes from 100% to destruction). This pile can be regenerated by re-holding right click when in the general vicinity of the pile. The cloud generated is much larger, covering a circular ground area with a diameter in excess of a Giga’s length. Each spit costs a certain value of food to use, the short ranged version being significantly more “expensive”. A tame with 50 wild points into food may only be able to use the short ranged spit twice before starting to starve with a third. These mist clouds have several deleterious effects on any non-Anteosaurus that enters it. At first, stamina usage is doubled, and additionally health is slowly drained from anything too short to stand above the cloud (Carnos are tall enough for long range, a Rex for short range). Once allowed to build for several seconds, the toxin worsens. Once this happens, even animals tall enough to escape the clouds start to lose health and are now considered “corrupted”. The “Corruption” from being badly poisoned lasts for 3 minutes, has several effects, and persists regardless of whether or not the inflicted are within a cloud. Badly poisoned foes will go through their stamina twice as quickly, and will take double damage from any Anteosaurus they come across (as well as aggroing wild specimens). On top of this, they will take a DoT effect of 15 damage per second. One potentially beneficial effect, though, is that true Corrupted creatures will have a much harder time detecting and aggroing on a badly-poisoned tame. The Anteosaurus itself is immune to the toxins, as are survivors equipped with gas masks, scuba, hazard, tek gear, or protected by sealed saddles such as the Anteosaurus’ own. When standing inside its own poison clouds, an Anteosaurus is invigorated and constantly regenerates its stamina. It also gains life steal, further enabling it to outlast and outfight anything else caught in a cloud. These effects will persist for a few seconds once it is nor longer in contact with the toxic mists, though only for a fraction of the time the similar Hydrated buff lasts for creatures like Spinos and Shadowmanes. Brace Hitting R toggles your Anteosaurus into a Bracing stance. Once toggled, an Anteosaurus will crouch down and become unable to sprint, but gains a massive defensive perk: for any given second, the Anteosaurus can not take any more than 10% of its maximum health in damage from an outside source. This ability is very useful for tanking massive amounts of damage from any single hit, such as a blow from a Titan or a fully mutated Giga. Likewise, when braced an Anteosaurus is immune to all forms of damage over time. While very powerful, this ability does have a downside…. While bracing is active, the Anteosaurus’ health will constantly drain at a base of 1%of its maximum health per second, the drain stopping once the Anteosaurus has reached 100 health. If the Anteosaurus heals back above 100 health, the drain will continue until it is back to that threshold. What is most important, however, are these next two points: This health drain completely ignores the brace stance’s 10% max damage system (this is not an outside source, after all) The percent of health drained per second increases with every hit the Anteosaurus takes, increasing by 2% with each extra hit, capped at a worrying rate of 25% per second after being hit 12 separate times. Good against a single target certainly, but terrible against swarms or when shot at by a gun with a high rate of fire. This ability can be toggled off after a short 5 second cooldown, and can be activated/deactivated remotely for any nearby, unmounted allied Anteosaurus by using the default “Wave” emote. Anteogris Anteogris is a rare substance that Anteosaurus generate slowly in small quantities over time, similar to a snail’s low cementing paste yield. More useful than the snail, however, are the special properties of Anteogris. When combined with raw materials and various qualities of element, Anteogris can be used to upgrade any full durability tool/weapon/saddle to the next tier of quality. In terms of cost, Primitive and Ramshackle-tier items require half of their base crafting materials and element dust to upgrade. Apprentice and Journeyman items need element shards and 75% of the item’s cost. For Mastercraft, a complete piece of element is required instead of shards. Ascendant and Tek-tier items can not be upgraded at all. The upgrade process is also likely to fail, only succeeding a third of the time at base; otherwise, it has a 50/50 chance of either doing nothing at all or significantly damaging the item in question. The chance of success increases by 1% with each level in the crafting skill, requiring 66 levels minimum to guarantee a successful upgrade. The exact quality of the new item is also determined by the crafting skill. With no investment, any upgrade is nearly guaranteed to have the lowest possible stats for an item of its tier. As you level crafting, the relative quality of the new tool becomes higher and higher. Condensed stats and misc Essentially a land Plesio hampered by only slightly better than Giga stamina when outside a meat cloud. Nurgle boy. Size: About equivalent to the rex, squatter but overall longer Health: 2200 with decent gain per level Speed: Normal walk is around rex speed, sprint is faster than a rex but…. Stamina: God awful outside a cloud, nearly Giga-esque. Inside a cloud, it constantly regenerates with no delay after a stamina-consuming action. Primary, LMB attack: Medium attack speed, 75 base damage. 2x damage against corrupted, 2x against badly poisoned foes. That means 4x against badly poisoned corrupted creatures Secondary, RMB attack: Spit, tap for long range hold for short range. Consumes a non-insignificant % of food per spit. Short range piles have large cloud sizes and deteriorate slowly over time. They are considered wooden structures, and can be “repaired” by holding RMB when inside the cloud for a cost in food. Long range piles deteriorate quickly, have smaller cloud size, and are considered thatch structures. Can’t be “repaired”. Tertiary, R key: Toggles brace Extras: Anteosaurus’s saddle acts as a gas mask, shielding its rider from airborne toxins Uniquely gains food by attacking anything, as well as harvesting corpses. This is the third time we have posted Gorgonops, as it is designed for a desert map (Scorched Earth, Ragnarok, Extinction). Prior to this, other Gorgonops designs have also been posted, which may add to your frustration. We have taken as many suggestions and opinions into account as possible, but will permanently retire this concept after the Extinction vote. I ask of you, survivors, to please give Gorgonops your honest ranking and not rank it according to your frustration, if it does make it to the second round. I shall introduce to you all the stalker of scent; the Gorgonops! Gorgonops is one of the few creatures cut from ARK that many people knew (thanks to series such as Walking with Monsters and Primeval) and always wished to get since the first days of the game. Even WC planned to bring it into the game, before discharging it. For such a reason the Extinction DLC, the conclusion of the original storyline of ARK, is the perfect occasion for getting this fearsome synapsid finally into the game. Not only that, but the unique design and abilities proposed here surely make the creature blend into the Wasteland Earth environment and set it apart from anything else the game currently has. I kindly invite you all to read carefully through the whole submission before deciding whether to upvote it or not. You’re going to like it!! Latest Updates: [Under Dossier] - New Lore Section - [Under Utilities & Scenarios] - Why Gorgonops is your best asset on the Extinction map - Lore: The pressure from the Extinction wasteland, pushed the Element exposure on Gorgonopses to manifest itself on the creatures' snout. The olfactory organ as well as the deadly fangs got mutated by the Element, granting them unique properties. Gorgonops can now smell and detect the Corruption Nodes, the main sources of the Fallen Earth's greatest menace. But it can also get stimulated by a strange reaction with Element-containing dusts, leading the creature to a drugged-like status of deadly ferocity. Meanwhile the fangs now seem to secrete a strange molecule capable of annihilating the Corruption, like if the Element was trying to heal from its own disease. However, adaptation occurs on both sides as, indeed, the hive mind of the Corruption learned to avoid Gorgonopses, to order its hordes of corrupted monsters to flee from these hounds instead of attacking them. For this reason, a pack of Gorgonopses big enough can scare away even the largest of the corrupted monsters (with exception of the Titans). Wild: Gorgonops specimens most often patrol the wasteland, keeping a nose out for potential prey. Their incredible sense of smell allows them to detect creatures in a wide range around them. Not being very fast, they tend to go after relatively slower prey, which includes survivors. They’re patient hunters, and will track down their targets until the opportunity for a kill presents itself. On rare occasions you may find Gorgonops specimens in safer zones such as the biodomes, sanctuary, and sunken forest, wandering near exclusively in mated pairs as they guard something really valuable. Parental Buff (Wild Only): In the presence of their own pups, wild Gorgonops receive a buff that increases damage output and damage resistance. Pups raised by survivors don’t develop this behavior. Congratulations! You got your Gorgonops! What can you do with it? NEW ABILITY: Hunter of Corrupted The fangs of a Gorgonops melt corruption and thus Gorgonops deals increased damage to all corrupted creatures, and passively deters corrupted creatures with its presence. Some very large corrupted creatures require multiple Gorgonops to be present for this to take effect. This means that you can use Gorgonops to guard your base against corrupted creatures, or use it to wander the wasteland without fighting. POSSIBLE ADDITION: Gorgonops Den Structure In Gorgonops inventory, survivors can also craft a den like those found in the wild. This structure can house anything up to the size of an adult Gorgonops. This den can be used to protect small creatures and babies, and they will grow at a slightly faster rate (Gigantoraptor should be able to nanny them in here too). The den also protects against extreme temperatures and effects while in the wasteland, desert, snowy tundras and other extreme environments, similar to a tent. Another addition COULD be short-range tunnels between different dens that have already been set up. These will function as primitive versions of a tek teleporter, however it should be noted that the range is quite short. Utilities & Scenarios: Why Gorgonops is your best asset on the Extinction map: Gorgonops’ tracking abilities will help you find high level creatures, which are extremely rare on Extinction. Most experienced players will know the struggle of trying to find a high level Giga on Extinction, and Gorgonops will lighten this often painful search. In addition, Gorgonops’ taming assistance tools will bring extra QOL to the taming process. But what really makes Extinction a unique challenge is the corruption-infested wasteland, and Gorgonops absolutely doesn't lack features to give you an edge in such an environment. First of all, its tracking abilities are very helpful in the wasteland, for it helps you track down Element Nodes, which hard to find and harvest before they despawn. As for corrupted beasts - the greatest danger out there - Gorgonops' features deal extra damage to them, melting through their sick flesh. This type of damage is so unique and dangerous that the Element's hive mind learnt to avoid it. As a result, corrupted beasts are scared of a Gorgonops' mere presence. With enough of these wasteland synapsid hounds escorting you, you’ll be able to scare away even corrupted Gigas. What’s more, the Element Frenzy Gorgonops may go into by fighting Element-based/corrupted creatures enhances its strength in battle. All these combat-focused assets make Gorgonops an excellent choice for attempting to defend Orbital Supply Drops. Gorgonops packs even have a chance to scare OSD assailants temporarily, giving the people attempting to defend them slightly more breathing room, as the creatures will come attack it at a slightly lowered pace. PvE: Gorgonops provide lots of use when it comes to taming creatures. Their scent being able to identify the levels and stats of creatures makes finding worthy tames far easier. Bringing unconscious creatures to safety as they tame is also incredibly helpful. If you need to return to a particular creature later since you don’t have the resources, you can leave the creature marked and come back once you’re ready. Digging up valuable treasure is certainly valuable in itself and tracking rare temporary resources such as Element Nodes will surely be appreciated. Gorgonops may see use in swamps and other areas with lots of venomous insects and beasts. They are also great at defending bases against corrupted, as they passively scare off corrupted, including the largest of corrupted, if the pack is large enough. PvP: Gorgonops make for great base defenders. Their autoalert defining specific species is paired well with Parasaurs who identify particular groups of enemies, now at an increased range. In the midst of a fight, their fangs come into good use when ignoring armor of all kinds, allowing them to deal high damage to beefy targets. If a target is sent on the run, the Gorgonops can pick up on their scent and hunt them down until they’re caught. Sniffing out traps can ease raiding by helping raid parties avoid disaster. Finally the Element Frenzy may be an interesting wildcard to play on the battlefield.
  24. Just as the title describes, us PC players that've been on Crossplay servers (NA PVE Gen2 Crossplay 1626 for example) How the heck do we save our snapshots? I havent found a thing thats helped me, it's insane how many people dont know about this yet, ARK should REALLY put an announcement tab on the main menu screen to warn people its all ending soon. So How does a Microsoft Install crossplayer on PC save these snap shots for single player?? ANYTHING HELPS!
