abilities: m1 bleed effect, m2 charged bite attack that builds more damage the longer it's held (with a pack of 4 max.) You gain 15% bonus damage reduction, speed, and attack boost. While holding shift, you can leap out of the water to gain a huge amount of distance. To be tamed, you would have to ride on its back for a certain amount of time. It'll eat out of your hot bar but will not gain taming effectiveness; it'll prevent it from eating you (they spawn in packs, so beware if you're solo). To breed, they'd act like your average dino on land; they just lay their eggs in the sand like modern-day sea turtles. That's all. Please vote for Dakosaurus if you find it cool for the center. ❤️😄

Irritator Aqualatrare! Wild A creature with a most fitting name, Irritator Aqualatrare is a medium sized carnivore. These voracious pack hunters hang out around other Spinosaurids. Upon discovering their prey, Irritator first bark at the target repeatedly. This insistent barking appears to both lower their prey's guard, and call other nearby spinosaurids to their aid. Irritator's aggression towards survivors appears to be quelled when survivors approach on or with their own spinosaurids. An intrepid survivor may even hunt with Irritator in order to gain its trust. Domesticated Irritator Aqualatrare has niche use as a mount, allowing their rider to safely move around other spinosaurids. It's smaller stature prevents it from being proficient at carrying weight or fighting alone. Where Irritator truly excels is in its unique ability to empower a tribes nearby spinosaurids as if they were part of the pack. Survivors can also use Irritator's bark to weaken their foes. Meet the Irrirtator A smaller carnivore, they are typically found roaming near rivers, swamps, anywhere baryonx and spinosaurus roam. Slower and weaker than raptors, their wild power comes from their ability to drop your defenses and call spinosaurids to their aid. The Bark Irritator packs begin combat by "barking" at their target from a medium distance, this process takes a few seconds but applies a defense debuff to the target. The power of the bark depends on how many irritator participate with a cap around ~3 irritators. The Pack Irritator's pack buff is quite minor, only providing a small attack & defense increase. Nearby allied baryonx and spinosaurus (Wild spinosaurids for wild irritator) are welcomed into an irritator pack, providing them with the same bonuses and an additional one. Spinosaurus and Baryonx gain a DOT bleed effect to barked targets while in an irritator pack- a devastating combo. The Mount Irritator is essentially a raptor that can swim as far as mounts go- albeit slower on land. It has a niche benefit of not drawing the aggro of any wild spinosaurids when ridden. This could allow you to slip by large threats without needing to fight. If riding the alpha of the pack, you can initiate the "barking" by right clicking while looking at a valid target. The Taming Irritator are naturally aggressive towards players, however, if a player is near or riding a spinosaurid themself the irritator is neutral. While they are neutral you are able to assist their hunting in order to gain their trust. Killing creatures they "bark" at will progress taming. This includes while they bark, allowing you a few seconds to kill the target before the Irritator even get close to it. Hopefully making for a fun taming process!

Cryolophosaurus - The frozen terror
GatorGamer869 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Greetings fellow survivors. Today, I will disclose the details of a new carnivore: The Cryolophosaurus, a large carnivore who hunts in groups and has been known as the scourge of the snow. This creature would have a roar similar to that of a Yutys, however this roar only affects other Cryo's nearby, along with its high intelligence, this hunter can be devastating for many foes. Who knows, maybe even a Giga would think twice before facing this beast. Name: Cryolophosaurus Ellioti Time Period: Early Jurassic Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Size: Between Allo and Rex Wild: These creatures tend to dwell in the snow and surrounding cold areas. When you come upon one of these creatures in the wild, it will most likely be in a pack of 2 or 3, with one being the packs alpha, and the others its minions to a sort. When engaged in combat, the alpha will stand back whilst the others charge in for the attack, leaving the alpha to sit back and buff roar. You do not want to let this happen for too long, otherwise they will become too powerful and wipe the floor with you, your best bet is to either target the pack alpha which will attack if engaged with, or kill the minions fast enough before they can be buffed. When killed, the alpha will drop 2-4 Cryo Crest fragments, which are used to help tame this beast. Taming: To tame this beast, you must first kill enough of them to get 10 crest fragments to help craft a Dino Crest Hat, which you must equip to certain tames to help increase their roar strength. This can only be effectively used on a rex, yuty, spino or something else of the size. Once equipped, you then have to find a group of Cryo's and use your dinos roar in front of the alpha Cryo's minions, which will cause them to run away scared (Note: If you use a giga or carcha, all the Cryos will run away scared), allowing you to deal with them later. Once they are gone, you then have to fight the lone alpha Cryo down to 10% health, of which you must then roar at it and it will bow to you and realize you are stronger than it and from then it will become passive to you and your dino, allowing you to passively feed it until tamed. Tamed: Once you claim this beast, it would be beneficial to get 1 or 2 others for a pack bonus (Max pack size is 3). Now, not much can stand in your way, as the pack bonus on top the buff roar will make these dinos unstoppable. They prefer to be in colder areas, gaining increased movement speed and health regen. Many of this dinos attack are also ice/cold based. They would also be able to enter boss arenas. Saddle would provide rider with insulation against cold. Attacks: Bite: Medium damage Charged Bite: High damage but must be charged for a few seconds, inflicts frostbite depuff, causing speed decrease slow health drain Stomp: Medium damage with high knockback Buff Roar: A roar that only affects other Cryo's, increasing damage output and health regen Freezing Roar: An extremely loud roar that causes the surrounding air to become extremely cold, freezing some dinos in their tracks and stopping all forms of health regen for about 30s I feel that this dino would fit the Center well and do it some justice.- 2 replies

We have only one type of shark that being the meg what about the saw shark this prehistoric saw shark comes to 12 feet in length it could be used as a harvester of organic polymer and angler gel it could also be used as a grinder while in packs these sharks can do enough damage to tear apart Tusos and Mosas and will actively hunt jelly fish. you would have to fish it up from the ocean with angler gel once at the surface you would have to feed it organic polymer while having a bug repellent on.

Common name: Eocarcharia Species name: Eocarcharia dinops Time: Early Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild: It's unknown if Eocarcharia hunted alone or in packs. Judging by its size (6-8m length) and fact that he is a Carcharodontosauridae there is a possbility they hunted in packs. Similar to Allosauruses, the Eocarcharias could wander in group of 3 members hunting small sauropods and hadrosaurs. Eocarcharias' fossils were found on Sahara, so they'd live on deserted areas of the map(s). Their bites would apply bleeding to their preys. Encyclopedia says Sarcosuchus might have been his potential enemy, so that could hint something? Bonus damage against crocodiles or something lol (no) Taming: Honestly, I am not sure. Most of lately added creatures have their own unique taming method. Maybe let's stay with knocking them out? Especially if they hunted in packs. Cannot think of something better at the moment uhh unless riding on them like on Equus (good luck) Domesticated: I swear I am trying to figure something out so it does not look like smaller Allosaurus copy...... Let's try to make them more mobile and fierce I wanna make them pack hunters as well but with small buffs so they are actually useful haha Abilities (While standing): LMB - Bite. RMB - Mega-Bite: The longer you hold button the more damage it does/the longer bleeding lasts. Applies bleeding. C - Roar: Would buff Damage of all Eocarcharias in pack. (Self included) (To do big damage) Abilities (While running): RMB - Lunge. Would perform a dash towards target enemy and apply the Mega-Bite. Maybe additionally slowing the target? I chose Lunge because they COULD NOT jump. C - Roar: Would buff Speed of all Eocarcharias in pack. (Self included) (To chase down the enemy) Eocarcharia could also increase it's running speed overtime and drift like Andrewsarchus. Army of Eocarcharias racing for kills! Additionally reduced weight for meat and hide (so they can hunt and hunt) (It's really hard to create a new mechanic for me because it's either already used or too complicated to program smh) It's one of my favorite less known dinosaurs. I'd love to see it getting some love from people. We do not have too much information on this dinosaur, but I managed to find something on various wikis. Also the name sounds cool B) I had fun making this one - my first submission! Enjoy ^^

Bahariasaurus This North African beast that once lived alongside with the famous Spinosaurus gets much less attention than its spine-neighbor, despite the fact that it is a truly magnificent animal. With its slander body shape, it can run at a very fast speed carrying its massive body that weight over 4 tons! Although not as impressive as the 10 tons giant-Tyrannosaurus, Bahariasaurus is still easily longer, taller and faster than the heavy T.rex. Just a bigger Galli? Of course not! despite looking like a Galli, Bahariasaurus belongs to the "Abelisauroidae" which also include famous dinosaurs like Carnotaurus (Carno) This make Bahariasaurus an omnivore, that is able to harvest corpse and consume meat to regenerate health, And DO NOT LET ITS SLANDER BODY SHAPE FOOL YOU! The devastating kick this massive "Chicken" is able to produce is enough to make it the most feared Chicken in the history. One kick from a cassowary (80 KG) = 💀 One kick from a Bahariasaurus (4800 KG) = 💀x 60 Speed The longer legs might make it seems like it can easily outrun a Galli, but the large body weight is a disadvantage when it comes to measuring speed. Bahariasaurus is not able to out speed the Galli in a race on a flat surface, but the bahariasaurus's jumping ability makes it up, its powerful legs are able to produce enough force to lift the heavy creature into the sky for a short period of time like most smaller creature, but Bahariasaurus take this ability to a whole new level, by jumping onto a vertical surface like the red wood tree or a small cliff, Bahariasaurus is able to quickly jump again to propel themselves at different directions like a ninja while maintaining momentum to eventually build up speed like a budget bloodstalker. Combat As mentioned before, the most powerful weapon of bahariasaurus is its kicks, but I never explain how it perform its deadly kicks, so here it is. The flexible and proportionally light body allows bahariasaurus to kick out in all kinds of directions, for example, here is some ideas with balances stats that fit this creature well in the game. 1. LMB (Step forward stomping enemy) DMG:30 2. LMB (Looking backwards will allow bahariasaurus to do a back kick) DMG:30 1. RMB (Jump up vertically to perform a full-power kick forward) DMG:90 2. RMB (Only used while in the air already, kick forward with all its weight) DMG: longer in air, higher the damage, capped when reach 200% additional damage. (Base 100) Space bar (jump, able to attack with RMB while midair) 1. Holding space bar (Jump vertically) 2. Holding space bar while moving (Make a charged jump) C (Peck to gathers bushes, trees and corpse) DMG:12 X (pack roar only usable in pack) Duration:40 seconds/cool down:60 seconds. Taming The speed and agility of the bahariasaurus make even the most experienced hunter struggle while trying to tame. If the traditional knock out method is used, the taming effectiveness will start at 50%. The real way to tame a bahariasaurus is to declare a 1v1 with them in front of the wild pack of bahariasaurus. In order to use this method of taming, you will need to have a wooden club, a shield and a "Taunt" emotes, once you use the taunt emotes in front of any member of the wild pack of bahariasaurus (Neutral in wild BTW) the highest level bahariasaurus is going to charge at you and pin you down on the ground with its huge feet. Once that is done, the bahariasaurus will start pecking you to death at LEFT, RIGHT and in the MIDDLE, you will have to roll to left or right using the "A" and "D" key to avoid being peck to death, and while you are in the middle, you will have to use the shield to protect yourself, if the bahariasaurus peck your shield while you are in the middle, you can smack its head with the wooden club, and quickly feed it biotoxin or Narcotic, and repeat until its knocked out. They prefer the same taming food as therizinosaurus. Bonus An icon will appear at the side of the screen if a spino, or a carcharadontosaurus is nearby because that is what they live alongside with IRL) They have a drag weight of 500. They will be the first and only Noasauridae to be in the game if they get added into the game.

Species : Nasutoceratops tauricórniscurrus Time : Late Cretaceous Temperament : battleaxe Wild Nasutoceratops tauricórniscurrus is big size herviore which can stand against same size carnivore like rex, found in wide plain and redwood forest. This dinosaur have interesting a couple of horn and thick skin. These stigma make they can fight ark's many carnivores and extreme enviroment. Nasutoceratops makes pack and follow their alpha which is very experienced in pack, fight or defence against their enemy under alpha's order but that means they are scattered when alpha is neutralized. If you want to tame, don't miss that chance. Domesticated If you taming enough Nasutoceratops, they'll make pack and you can get your own army. Your strongest entity will be choosen alpha in their pack, it means under alpha, pack's members more strong and hard. When Nasutoceratops is stimulated, using deadly big horn to enchase enemys body that makes cant move and bleeding and holding out enemy's attack. Also they are good land transport, their strong muscles make possible to carry a lot of load. Taming Taming Nasutoceratops is similar Dinopithecus, except a few case Nasutoceratops always make pack. That means their experienced entity always have alpha buff and also pack buff these buffs makes alpha isnt fainted. If you want to tame you have to show their pack you are stronger than their alpha, if you decrease alpha's HP under 50%, pack's member will run away from alpha that means you can stun alpha and pack's member. Ability Left click : pierce horns to enemy Charge left click : pierce horns deeply to enemy's body, this attack make bleeding(like stego) and cant move. Right click : Nasutoceratops change stance and stand firm, in this stance Nasutoceratops not knock back and stuned, decrease damage 70%. Also Nasutoceratops charge gauge from enemy's attack, when gauge full charged, Nasutoceratops can launch very strong attack. C button : Alpha Nasutoceratops can howl, this howl make pack's members HP regenerative power increase and turning, moving speed. (normal Nasutoceratops can howl but cant give buff) Alpha buff : Increase melee 20%, decrease damage 40% Pack buff : Increase melee 15%, decrease damage 25% Basic ability : Decrease damage from Nasutoceratops head(same trike and pachy), decrease weight almost natural resource and structure. Teratornis: Aerial Pack Predator & Temp. Counter!
Kaimen posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Wild: Teratornis are carnivorous avians from the Pliocene. They are similar in size to the Ark’s argentavis, making them suitable to be ridden by survivors, if they’re up to the challenge. Teratornis travel in small, aggressive flocks, as they are predators that tend to overwhelm their prey in numbers rather than attack with brute strength. Their flocking behavior is similar to that of the deinonychus; their serrated, hooked beaks inflicting heavy, stacking bleed damage. However, without their flock bonus, a single teratornis is easy game for larger predators. They are able to outrun their close relative, the argentavis, but survivors have had luck escaping them on the back of pteranodons. Domesticated: Once a survivor has acquired a flock of teratornis to aid them, they are useful battle mounts in numbers; perfect for swarming larger predators, such as the rex and allosaurus. Additionally, when in flocks, teratornis are able to protect their riders from being dismounted by other creatures (stuns and, with a cooldown, picking) and even man-made traps. Flocks are even immune to the fear-inducing roar of the yutyrannus! Flocks of teratornis are good mounts to have around in the blazing heat of the Ark’s deserts, as their feathers are designed to keep them cool, and by extension, their riders, too! Taming: The Teratornis is a flock creature, and they are not easily separated from each other. Survivors will find that selecting a single one in a flock to tame is a pain, however some have found a way to win over the stubborn feathered beast. Survivors must approach the flock until they become aggressive, and lead them to a prey item killed by the survivor. As they will take most opportunities to prey on larger creatures, the carcass will distract the flock, giving the survivor time to sneak up on the Teratornis they wish to tame. They must feed it its desired food item, and grab onto its legs. The Terratornis will become startled, wildly flying about and attempting to shake the survivor off. They must manage to stay seated until a persistence bar fills, after which the survivor will be able to hoist themself up onto the Teratornis's back. The flock will quickly turn aggressive towards the survivor and their mounted Teratornis, and the pair must fight back, killing the rest of the flock to fill its taming bar. -
Who is the Daspletosaurus? The Daspletosaurus torosus is a Dinosaur from the late cretaceous , its often confused with the famous Tyrannosaurus rex or the tarbosaurus , it lived in Laramidia. What is Laramidia? Laramidia was an island continent that existed during the Late Cretaceous period (99.6–66 Ma), when the Western Interior Seaway split the continent of North America in two. Source:Wiki Wild Daspleto Info Common name:Daspleto/Daspletosaurus Species:Daspletosaurus Torosus Time:Late Cretaceous Diet:Carnivore/Corpse eater Temperament:Passive if not provoked or having a corpse nearby Behavior Daspletosaurus is a dino who usually runs in a pack of 2-3 , it does not fear atacking a big dinosaur like a T-rex if its in a pack, but if the daspleto is alone it will prefer to not attack. The Daspleto is like the Meganeura its attracted by copses, but unlike the Meganeura if it sees a corpse it will run to it , grab it in its jaws and run away and only after running away it will eat the corpse. Domestication/Taming Saddle A saddle simillar to a equus saddle mixed with a rex saddle with the supply bags How to tame To tame a Daspleto you have to kill the 1 or 2 other Daspletos in the pack then, when the Daspleto you want to tame is agro'ed to you start damging it and when its at 50% health,it will enter in a "damaged" animation , start healing it by feeding him corpses or your other tames (if you feed him something like another daspleto it will reset the taming and the taming effectivness will go from 100% to 90%. Abilities Supply bags Once tamed, the Daspleto can be equipped with supply bags, they have a reduced weight for ammunition, food, and water , these bags can also carry food (note:if you put food in the bags and not the inventory the Daspleto wont eat it)and if you add sparkpowder the food will spoil for much longer, like in a preserving bin,the bags can also carry enough water for 4 canteens (that means its 600 water per bag and 1200 water in total),And finnaly the bags can carry ammunition with reduced weight. Healing ability If the Daspleto eats a corpse (other Daspleto corpse excluded) it will heal itself (like and argent) and nearby dinos if tamed . (Note:If Daspleto is wild it will heall other nearby Daspletos). Headbutt The Daspleto looks at the ground and starts running towards the target and headbutts it stunning and giving 100-1000 (depends on the distance from the target) torpor to the target (note:requiers many stam) Hold W+Shift+left mouse button to headbutt. Stomp The Daspleto smashes its leg on he ground and makes nearby dinos to fly off and get a de-buff wich makes them slower for 20 seconds (Drains half of the stam) Press C to Stomp. Corpse carrying The Daspleto can carry corpses in its jaw and two small corpses or one medium corpse if it has supply bags equiped (note:corpses wont spoil while the Daspleto is carrying them) Press X near a corpse to grab with jaw and dismount the daspleto to grab the corpse and attach it to the Daspleto's back. Weight reductions (I know i already mentioned them but its for those who doesnt want to search them) Food 20% (meat , veggies , kibble, rockwell recipes . . .) Water 35% (filled with canteens or when standing near water) Ammo 50% Drops Hide Meat Prime meat Pelt Buffs Mate boost(toggled by a different gender being nearby) Pack Leader/Member(Toggled when in a pack) Healing himself and nearby dinos(Toggled by eating a corpse) Controls Left Click - Bite C - Stomp X - Pick a corpse up hold W+shift+left click - headbutt And i think thats all ! Thank you for reading !

debuffer The Mini Bronto of the Desert: Massospondylus
TwizzlerOfWorlds posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Brontosaurus of the Desert I understand how many people are getting tired of dinosaur-based creatures; however, I would like to share my ideas on this creature and potentially change your mind on it. Massospondylus is an early Jurassic dinosaur belonging to the genus Sauropodomorph, a genus that is the ancestor of sauropods. This creature would add to the group of dangerous herbivores, something that ark is in need of. This creature would be a little larger than a megatherium, or if anything, a maximum of 13 feet tall. The image below is what I think this creature could be. As we can see, this creature has a similar proportion to that of a brontosaurus except for the arms. It would have excellent carry weight, control of temperature, and even possess some offensive skills. Before going any further, I would like to mention I am not good with digital art, and the image above is some of my own pencil drawings, so please excuse me for the quality. Stances Starting with the creature's stances, it will have 3. The first being its regular form, where it will walk on four legs for transport. Although it isn't as slow as a brontosaurus, it would be roughly the same speed as a Thyla, or even a bit slower. The second stance will be similar to the image above, where it will stand on two legs. In this stance, the Massospondylus will be able to do more damage, similar to the Spinosaurus and Iguanadon. Similar to them, this creature will move slowly in this stance. It will be in this stance that many of the creatures abilities will be available. Finally, as for the third stance, the creature will curl itself while standing. In this state, the dinosaur will be able to protect the rider and itself from all damage. However, there is a downside to taking this stance. The longer you are in this stance, the damage reduction will begin to diminish, followed by your stamina being used up. Additionally, the Massospondylus will move very slowly in this stance. Note that switching between stances will leave the dinosaur vulnerable. taking more damage in this short period of time. Abilities As for the abilities, this creature will have three special abilities, one of which is a passive ability. Sandstorm When in a group of at least two Massospondylus, it will be able to create a small sandstorm. This animal and its companions, will sweep their tails across the floor, causing dust to rise into the surrounding air. Enemies caught in this attack will experience blindness and take more damage depending on the amount of Massospondylus in the pack. Having 4 Massospondylus will max out this extra damage intake. The dust will eventually go away, and all the dinosaurs that were inside will have returned to normal. Tackle This creature will ram into its enemies, dragging their heads across the floor and throwing dust into the opposing creature's eyes. This ability is available when the Massospondylus is isolated or in groups. However, it will only render the creature blind and cause temporary damage reduction to the opposing creature, where it will do less damage. This will only last for a couple of seconds. Stronger in Numbers When in a group of three, many medium-sized dinosaurs or creatures will not attack you. When in a group of four, these dinosaurs will take reduced damage but no notable increase in damage from basic attacks. Other When riding the Massospondylus, gain protection from weather and hot temperatures. It will also be able to turn cactus sap into a substance than can be harvested in a jar. This substance will share the same properties as cactus broth. Saddle Like in the image above, this creature will possess a camel-like saddle; however, it will have another saddle that is a platform saddle. This saddle will be similar to that of the camel before, but it will instead be dragging along a "sand boat" that will allow the owner to build and place structures on. However, equipping this saddle will prohibit the creature from going into its defensive stance, as well as blocking it from using its abilities to tackle and sandstorm. Although in the image above I initially said it would be 13 feet, this creature will be smaller than a Diplodocus yet larger than a Velonasaur in order to have this ability. Taming In order to tame this beast, you must feed wild baby Massospondylus. Baby Massospondylus can be found in the wild within adult packs. Adult Massospondylus are generally aggressive in the presence of one of their children. Baby Massospondylus will run away at the scent of danger. For this reason, you must first gather some of the creatures poop to avoid scaring the baby. Putting the poop of this creature on babies may fool them, but it won't fool adults, as they will still attack on first sight. Attacking the adults with babies around will cause the baby to run away, regardless of whether you are covered in poop. Because of this, one must K.O. the baby Massospondylus from a distance. While it is sleeping, kill the surrounding adult Massospondylus and await the baby's awakening. At this point, you may approach the baby and feed it (passively) veggie cake, the only food that the babies will eat. You must take note that secreting yourself in Massospondylus poop will cause nearby creatures to attack, regardless of whether they are normally passive or not. Killing any creature nearby the baby will cause it to become scared and lose its taming. Habitat This creature can be found in nearby water sources, like small river flows. They typically don't stay near deep ponds. On occasion, they do wander into the dunes of a desert, but they cannot be found in packs out there. They can be found in groups of 5, with at least 1 baby in a group of 3. Resource Harvesting This creature can harvest wood, thatch, sand, berries, veggies, and, in some cases, meat, although it will not eat it. Lastly it will also be an excellent cactus harvester. Final Thoughts At the end of the day, I think that this creature will add to the diversity of Scorched Earth, like many other creatures that have been submitted here. But I have noticed a lack of love for dinosaurs like the sauropods. There isn't much of a large list of creatures that are both herbivores and generally aggressive. I hope that you can see this creature's utility on scorched earth. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and may the best creature win!!!! Feel free to post any recommendation or thoughts you have on my creature submission. Thank you again and remember to vote for me!!!- 1 reply
