Gigantophis: The Adapted Constrictor Returns to Earth
LadyMiko posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Contents~ Artwork and General Vibes Dossier Taming Abilities Gigantophis returns from the Scorched Earth vote as an element corrupted variant, taking some suggestions from the previous version to adapt and improve this serpent. So what is Gigantophis? Gigantophis was a sea snake, known for being the most popular of this odd type of serpent. However, having adapted from the Earth’s dried up oceans, this version of the animal, much like the scorched, takes inspiration from constrictor snakes but unlike the rattlesnakes and boas of the scorched variant, this takes inspiration from the semi aquatic anaconda aswell as proper sea snakes. Dossier: It's amazing how a creature like Gigantophis otiosum could survive in the dry and desolate climate, but this giant snake somehow found a way. Gigantophis can be found lazing around in sulfur fields, where they wait for dim-witted prey to come wandering into their distendable jaws. When aggravated, Gigantophis will inflate their bodies, causing the large scales on their backs to stand as an early warning sign. Should this be ignored, however, a Gigantophis will lunge at the aggressor and wrap itself around them. You wouldn't want to be crushed by a snake longer than a bloody Rex, so I'd suggest staying clear of these beasts as much as you can I have an idea on how to tame these things, but it will take guts to pull off: Basically, I'm thinking a survivor could sacrifice a creature filled with food items to the Gigantophis, and gain its trust by proxy. I am fairly certain this will work, though the rational being in me is unwilling to try it out. Besides, close shaves with basilisks have made me deathly afraid of snakes! Abilities: Left Click- A basic bite attack, inflicting Gigantophis’s bleed if repeated bites are landed Right click- Gigantophis wraps around a target and begins to choke them to death and drain their oxygen Space- The beast coils up with head raised and its wide mouth open, when released gigantophis launches forward to a targeted location to swallow smaller creatures and damage larger ones Ctrl- The snake lies down on the ground and opens its gaping maw, beginning to vacuum up anything smaller than it into its mouth C- After eating enough, gigantophis will regurgitate burning bile in front of it to melt targets Gluttonous- After eating a certain amount of fertilized eggs, Gigantophis becomes engorged and can now constrict faster- 38 replies

The Chimera Crab: Your New Bubbly Friend
PepeJoseArgento posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
The ancestor of all crustaceans... From an era filled with great Predators... A swift hunter, with great vision and powerful pincers... Who blows bubbles... That's your new friend! 🦀🌟Chimera Crab🌟🦀 Hello to all the Survivors!!!👋 It is a pleasure to be able to present a creature for the Ark votes, you don't know what excites me, I wanted to participate for a long time and the opportunity finally came, the Chimera Crab is a fascinating being that in my opinion fits very well in The Center, especially in the ocean and its domes. I would love to see this eccentric little crab help the survivors of the Ark, if you would also like to see him I would be super grateful for his vote for the Chimera Crab.😁 (Sorry if you didn't understand something, my English is very bad). The Chimera Crab is a small crab whose scientific name is Callichimaera Perplexa, which means "unnervingly beautiful chimera", as this is perhaps the oldest and strangest crustacean compared to its congeners. This little one had specialized hind legs to swim with agility, giant eyes for a crab and for the size of its body it had strong claws to hold on and not let go, something very different from other crabs that are slow, with small eyes, that roam the world. bottom of the sea. Callichimaera Perplexa swam through the Cretaceous seas in what is now Colombia and the US . This little guy is, if you will, the ''platypus'' of the crab world, 📖Basic information Callichimaera Perplexa is a small crustacean that has become your best ally in The Center. This crab is a shouldered creature that will help you both in the water and on land, helping you with weight, defense and fantastic abilities with its bubbles. 🌏Habitat Callichimaera Perplexa usually swims in shallow seas or near domes. Although at sunset they enjoy walking along the beaches in search of food or a partner. 🦀Behavior The Chimera Crab behaves calmly, in the water it usually swims agilely without being disturbed, although it tends to be curious. If it takes damage, it will start attacking with its pincers, if its ph will be halved, it will release its toxins and run away. On land, when it takes damage, it releases its toxin and flees into the ocean. 🐟Taming Callichimaera Perplexa has a passive taming, but with a trick, despite being crustaceans, they show some intelligence and curiosity, to activate their taming, you must entertain them. These cannot be tamed in water. You have to wait for them to reach the coast to start taming them. These Crabs are carnivorous and prefer fish meat, although their favorite food is black pearls. On the shore, when you see your target, you should approach and make a gesture to get their attention, clap, wave or dance, etc. If Callichimaera likes what it sees, it will blow bubbles, if not, it will spit out its toxins. Be careful and be patient, when it likes you, you can feed it! 🔰Skills 💪Weight reduction For his morphology and limbs, the weight in his inventory is reduced by 70%. 🛡️Damage reduction due to the composition of his exoskeleton, the damage taken is reduced by 45%. 🪂Parachute If Callichimaera has Organic Polymer in your inventory, when it falls or is thrown from a great height, it will create a bubble that looks like a parachute to you. 💨Oxygen Callichimaera can also generate bubbles in the water which provides us with oxygen, for a limited time. ☣️Toxic Defense While our little crab is on our shoulder, it will serve as a defense against enemy attacks, when Callichimaera takes damage it will expel a toxic shot that will stun enemies for a short period (3min). This ability will reactivate every 10 min. 🏊♀️Swim Fast Callichimaera will help us swim much faster in the water. Thank you for reading!!!💗🦀- 4 replies

Tiktaalik Ancient fish capable of teleporting in waterways
MIROKU posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Tiktaalik It is an extinct pawfinid that lived during the late Devonian period (about 375 million years ago). I entered because I felt the Tiktaalik was the missing link between fishes and tetrapods, and I felt it was necessary to bring this creature into the ARK because it is a symbol of the evolution of organisms that have evolved lungs and strong limbs. Tiktaalik in ARK Performance Absorbs the oxygen gauges of surrounding organisms and inflicts new damage caused by oxygen deprivation. By consuming all the absorbed oxygen, it can teleport through the waterway, a new building item that can be placed on the MAP, just like a TEK teleporter (with a limit of 2 pieces and a limit of times to a maximum of 2 locations) It is possible to give a status increase buff to surrounding Diplocaulu and share oxygen with them to enable breath attacks using reactive oxygen intermediate. Tiktaalik, like Diplocaulus, spawns in very small numbers in oasis and shallow water. It is larger in size than in the historical record and, like Basilosaurus, crawls around in shallow water and swamps with several Diplocaulus around it. When hostile, they use their evolved lungs and external gills, which are usually stowed away, to absorb the oxygen levels of surrounding organisms in an oxygen-robbing attack. Survivors and dinosaurs deprived of oxygen are extremely dangerous because of the damage caused by oxygen deprivation. However, dinosaurs without oxygen values and survivors equipped with oxygen cylinders are not damaged, so countermeasures can be taken. Diplocaulu in the vicinity of Tiktaalik should be noted as they have a significantly elevated stator. Tiktaalik taming We have multiple ideas on how to tame Tiktaalik, but if you have a better idea, please adopt that one. Plan A: Keep hitting the outer gills that appear periodically like titans with cannons or fire arrows to deplete their oxygen and put them in a coma. Proposal B: Tame by taming diplocaulus or by approaching them equipped with oxygen cylinders and subjecting them to oxygen-absorbing attacks. Tiktaalik's performance after taming Tiktaalik can be equipped with a platform saddle and can build bases comparable to those of Paracer. As a fish, Tiktaalik can also act in water, and although its oxygen level is not reduced, a new oxygen gauge is added. This new oxygen gauge is raised by using oxygen-absorbing attacks to rob the surrounding organisms of their oxygen levels, or by sharing it with fellow Diplocaulu in the surrounding area. When the gauge reaches its maximum, the user can choose to use it in one of two ways. By consuming the entire oxygen gauge, one can teleport through the "waterway," similar to the TEK teleporter. Waterways dry out and break down over time. A new building item, the "waterway," will be added. The "canal" can be created in Tiktaalik's inventory, but it requires a large amount of materials such as wood and cement. Waterways will collapse after multiple uses. The second use is to convert oxygen into reactive oxygen intermediate and exhale it forward as a breath.
