If you guessed the carnufex carolinensis then you would be right. Land or water there is no escaping. They are truly a force to be reckoned with due to their versatility. With teeth that are sharper than a serrated blade and claw like nails any creature would surely feel it strike. They usually hunt at night mainly in packs due to their poor defense skills. But don't be fooled with just one of them being able to stir up chaos; one doesn't need to imagine what a full pack can do. Then due to their hunting habits of ambuhing in the dead of night, they have developed fangs and claws that can weaken and even slow the target of their cruelty and keep them from fleeing. All in hope of lowering the time in between their next meal. domesticated If by luck you domesticate the crazed overly aggressive carnufex then get ready for the ride of your life. The carnufex is an amphibian and wont need air underwater. They are some of the fastest creatures, be it land or water. They make little sound for their weight, almost none at all. After some testing we have found domesticated carnufex are better in packs and not just do to their sheer number. The strongest female can roar and cause the others to move more savagely than normal. It’s like the boost raptors get but for agility then combat. If that's not enough to make you shake in fear then it will be very concerning to know that they are even stronger after getting wet making it a good idea to try and build your camp near some kind of water im sure even a well will work. They will recover from damage faster and their bite will sink deeper. The carnufex is one dino your enemies don't want to be on the receiving end of. Taming If you wish to own one of the terrors you will find it not as easy as you may think. There is only one known way to tame the carnufex. on a moonless night you can find one of these monster lurking in what ever water they can find in the sandy deserts they live in. When they find a suitable target will roar calling all near by packmates to begin charging at you. during this time you can feed the pack leader. It will stop moving to eat so use this time to escape to safety or kill some of the weaker packmates but be warned the carnufex will not roar if alone making this beast very hard to tame. also be warned if the carnufex isn't hungry and won't stop when presented with food. So keep this in mine if you wish to survive an encounter. stand like this but are as big as a bary they are like the desert version of them

Barbaridactylus, terror in the night sky!
Dinodude530 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Barbaridactylus is a new creature that I propose for the game. The Barbaridactylus is the the terror in the Ark's night sky, gaining power from the moonlight using it's massive crest, it becomes stronger and faster, but when it becomes day it goes back to being it's normal self. Around the same size as a Pteranodon, this pterosaur is the first creature in the game with sexual dimorphism. This pterosaur is naturally passive but when an intruder is spotted near it's nest, they become VERY aggressive, and attack until the intruder is a safe distance from the eggs. It is possible to tame them, but only in the day time, because when the skys grow dark, the Barbaridactylus becomes aggressive and unable to tame, or you could attempt to steal an egg, however if you are spotted you will be met with several dive attacks from several Barbaridactylus. The easy route is to tame a wild one,but it won't be easy, because much like defending their eggs, they attack in numbers. You can find Barbaridactylus and their nests on cliffsides and plateaus, in the desert, the highlands, beaches, etc. as long as there's a high place to keep their eggs safe, you can find them there. (Side note for the devs, you can do whatever with how to tame them). -
The Nephiles - A swarm of element eaters. Idea: Diversify the gameplay of caves, add tools for pvp, and also create an unusual multi-level taming mechanic. And also to diversify PvE content by using the Nephiles poison for various purposes. For example, in a cocoon-shaped queen's inventory, it would make sense to create elemental dust from an element. In general, it becomes like a kind of Araneo rework, but you must admit that it is not fully implemented). Suggest your ideas in the comments. Let's make our game more scary and exciting 😈 https://ru.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mongolarachne_jurassica View: Spider-like creatures small in size for humans. At first, like the nameless, no one on the Ark took these creatures seriously. They were doomed to lead a miserable existence in the depths of the caves. Until at one point, their endless and incredibly fast evolution gave them a poison capable of effectively digesting the Element rich in local ore into useful nutrient substances. Rapidly evolving and conquering more and more cave spaces, this makes them one of the most terrible disasters of the ark. At the moment, we know about the whole hierarchy in this form. The Nephilth population is divided into 3 groups: Youngers, Elders and Queen. Young Nephiles. ////////////////// Wild: not particularly surprising with their size. They are found in large numbers in elemental caves, as well as at night not far from them. They are terrified of the light, which acts like a tranquilizer on them, slowing down their life processes and allowing them to fall into a kind of hibernation. They are hostile, when attacking the victim they shoot with a cobweb clot, in action we descend with a bollas. Nephil's bite isn't known for high damage, but it does inflict an astonishing amount of sleep. Taming: There are few daredevils across the island who dare this feat. For successful taming, it is necessary to take Nephil away from the nest at night, simultaneously dodging his "projectiles" and throws with raised paws. With the first rays of the sun, Nephil will panic trying to return to the nest. If you manage to delay it long enough, it will fall exhausted, allowing itself to feed on elemental dust. The tamed Junior Nephil is incredibly good as a shoulder animal. With the right settings, your new friend will be able to immobilize the webs of small creatures and other survivors with his projectiles in some range. And after your death, it will carefully sew a sleeping place and hide in a cocoon, without attracting the attention of wild creatures. Elder Nephiles. /////////////// They live in the depths of caves. Unlike their younger brothers, they are much larger than them and are not afraid of the light, but take more damage under it. They move well along the walls, attacking from an ambush with a throw, ways to temporarily pin them to the ground and immobilize medium creatures. Like younger brothers, they are able to shoot webs that can immobilize already larger creatures. Tamed: Unable to tame the wild. However, it is known that if you feed the Young Nephil with fragments of the element for a long time, you can achieve its evolution from a cocoon into an older brother. It is possible to saddle an adult Elder Nephil, gaining access to his capabilities. 1) Jerk - a kind of jump, charging which, thanks to powerful limbs, you can overcome truly huge distances. When hit with such a "jerk" on the victim, you knock him down and press him to you. It is not uncommon for Nephila to attack flying creatures. 2) Web shot is now able to immobilize larger creatures. 3) Creation of original "Threads" - natural zip lines. Stretching such "bridges" over the gorges you speed up your movement. 4) It has a cocoon mode (like a basilisk), in which it does not allow food to spoil inside itself. Queen of the Nephiles. /////////////// The main boss of all caves. It is very difficult to get rid of it without the corresponding "light" in the soul. Mostly rarely seen, preferring to spend time in the nest surrounded by his servants. If you dare disturb her nest, prepare for disaster. Taming: ???. It is not known for certain whether it is possible to tame her in the wild. Perhaps there is some way to evolutionarily get it from the elder by feeding the element. However, there are legends about the few tribes that did this, rightly calling themselves the lords of the caves. In the tamed state, the queen is not afraid of the light, but still takes increased damage under it. Her web glands are not as well developed as those of her younger brothers, so instead of shooting web shots, she prefers Poison Bolts, which completely destroy the armor and saddles of creatures and even Tek structures when hit. Truly elegant, the queen's bite can put even the largest creatures to sleep with amazing speed. Its characteristic feature is to weave cobwebs up to three at the same time. If you designate a plane with the help of two zipline threads, its smaller brothers will weave a cobweb that is resistant to destruction with amazing speed. Once in such a trap, do not even try to get out of it, a strong layer of a cobweb cocoon will digest you and any creature of medium and large sizes in the near future. An amazing feature of the home queen is that on such webs she, with your permission, is able to establish her nest. By installing such a nest on the ceiling in your shelter, you will receive a universal killing machine capable of firing cobweb, poisonous projectiles, as well as attracting victims to itself, dooming them to a slow death in a cocoon. However, the owners of such a baby need to look both ways. There are cases when, due to hunger, the queen rebels against her masters, turning your entire shelter into new ruins.
