Altough i see that this could lead to some performance issues it would be nice to be able to install some more mods since im running out of Mod storage space by playing on one Modded Server, so basicly i wont be able to play on a second server with different mods because i simply can't install them It would be nice to at least have an Option to install more mods, probably behind a warning that it could cause performance issues when enabeling it

Hey. So I an not sure if it's a game bug, or a server bug, but I have been looking for solutions. I am playing ASA on Xbox on the unofficial Crossplay server. The server uses some mods. Mostly cosmetic. While most people playing on PCs have no problem, the Xbox users can't place structures from Dwarven builders mod and from Dino +. I can craft the structures, and as I am placing them down - the just go back into my Inventory First I thought that it might be some mod collision causing it on Xbox. But then I replicated the same thing on Single player, and I can place everything. What could be the cause of this? Could it be some API problems? Some server issues? Or just Ark being Ark?

We have a computer we run a private ASA server off of using CMD. We run a few other mods (crafting potion, pelayoris cryopod, tg stacking mod 10000/90, death inventory keeper, super spyglass/binoculars, utilities plus) We ran turkey trials with no issue. Tried to switch over to winter wonderland and none of the content seems to ve activated. No colors, no special creatures, no folders for holiday crafting. We did a dino wipe. When it was still an issue, we took the holiday mod off. Update, server restart. Shut down, add holiday mod again. Restart, new dino wipe. Same issue. Ideas?

Studio Wild Card, I know for a fact I am not the only one annoyed by this. Clicking a mod from the mods list in the game, only to be greeted with "This mod is for the community/cluster". Can you please ban the use and or mods for "X Community Mod" - This is a mod for use with <Insert Name of Community> These mods overpopulate the "Mods" section of ASA. There are hundreds of these mods that add very little or "Adds a watermark to viewport". These type of mods are easily 40% of ALL mods available and its annoying to sometimes have multiple pages before you can get to the next 'Real' mod. To me, this is nothing more than a slimy way for people to advertise their servers. A better solution is, for these mod creators is to give them their own specific category that is hidden on the mods list and only downloaded if a user logs into their server (as all mods are when a server has them). This way they will not clutter up the entire mods section for people who just want to see mods, REAL MODS. Make it so they have their very own category where they can sit and if they must be listed, have them by default hidden via a check box in the mods list. That way if people actually WANT to see these mods they can and those who don't (which is likely a lot of us) don't have to see them. Thus they don't clutter up the mods section and we can look at actual real mods that do things. And if these people do not post their "X Community" mods in the community section (And NOT be able to add the mods to other categories if in the "community mods" section) and they can stay there and not (again) clutter up the entire mods section. Its simple: 1. Make a "Community Mods" section 2. If a mod is in the "Community Mods" section it CANNOT have any other tags or be added to any other category. 3. Any Mod that does not follow the above gets removed. 4. Any Mod that IS a community Mod and is NOT placed in the community section is moved there and or removed completely. 5. If the same server has repeat violations, that user is then banned from "posting mods" I know I will likely get hate for this ask, I am prepared for that and do not care. The "<insert name> Community Mod" IMHO is just a really slimy way to advertise servers. Sincerely, an ARK player since 2016 on PC/PS/XBox with more than 12000 hrs played across all platforms.

As a server owner, I'm in the awkward position of trying to include XBox players to our servers for the first time. It's proving to be exceedingly difficult as there is no list or database of which mods are available for console users, and if I activate XBox on my PC server, any non-compatible mods are automatically deleted. This could cause MASSIVE loss of all sorts of resources and tames for players. Can we PLEASE get a list somewhere (or a search parameter in Curse Forge) for XBOX mods?

[ASA] Disable DLC dinos / creatures transfers between maps ?

Hi, I would suggest disabling dino / creature transfers from DLC maps to non-DLC maps and in between them. Reason for suggestion is to make maps unique in fightining style, immersion and make game less "newest map = new meta" The Island is balanced around dinos found on that map, so allowing transfers of wyverns, manas, mewings map seems so small to travel from one side to another. Abberation was so unique cause map is no flyer relient, and imagine adding flyers there map would lost its meaning, immersion and unbalanced. Lack of content or QoL that new dinos offer could be replaced with another existing dinos on another maps, like Procoptodon can have Meawing abilitys ect or dino that already serve no bigger purpose then being unit for meat runs. -
Can someone plz help me. Iv been banned on the ark offical discord like almost a year ago. All I did was tell a joke that a mod I guess found unfunny and without a warning I was banned even though I apologized if I offended anyone after the fact. Iv tried submitting a ban appeal once or twice within the last year or so to no avail. If anyone has any other suggestions on how to get unbanned plz let me know. A very sory ark player Mr.Rogers

Does anyone knows how to save mod settings when playing Ascended on modded single player? Whenever I start or load a saved game, Ark rewrites the gameusersettings.ini and game.ini files so any settings that you change that are not included on the game menus and mod settings are erased or reverted to defaults. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

Hi, So ive been playing ark for a while now. This exact same problem happened to me ones before on my modded singleplayer playtrough of scorched earth but I dont remember how I fixed it. This time i have the same problem but on my modded playtrough of ragnarok, also singleplayer. Mid playtrough, for no apparent reason, just when I was about to start one of my daily ark gaming sessions the game just crashed while loading the map. This usually takes about 25 mind because of the amount of mods I use and the crash happened on the end of the loading process, when it was loading 'Ragnarok_proxy'. Ive tried everthing I could find online. Ive read numurous forums and posts about the same/similar problem but nothing helped. Ive tried several verifying checks, ive tried to role back my saves (the dated ones in my game folder), ive tried to adjust the steam ping rate or something (even tough its a singleplayer world), ive tried to mess with different launch options, ive tried to mess with the mod orders, ive tried to load it without any mods and that worked but all my modded structures and dinos were obviously gone, ive updated all my drivers with easy drivers and updated my graphics card drivers, ive updated and checked windows, ive tried less mods and without the sketchy ones, ive lowered my graphics, ive deleted all my installed DLC maps, my laptop isnt overheating and isnt overclocked, ive loaded all the mods on another map wich worked fine, there are probably other tiny things ive tried but i cant remember everthing. the last thing i tried was a complete and clean reinstall (yes, i first deleted the whole 'ARK' folder before the reinstall). All this to no avail. After 3 full days spent trying to fix this problem my ragnarok save wich I so darely want to save still crashes every single time at 'Ragnarok_proxy'. I am no IT expert so all this is everything i see that could be done to fix the problem so i scream for help from yall Ark nerds XD (its a joke). I hope yall can help me fix this. Some of these may be able to use from mods, but most should be in the base game anyway. 1. Add the prim+assets (items, engrams) to the new game. You already have the code, just dust it off and upgrade it. 2. Refresh all the dinos. (Why can't a parasaur jump?) 3. Wagons. Give us a 2 wheel cart that can be pulled by 1 creature (raptor, pachy, or larger, up to maybe shadowmane size) and a 4 wheel wagon pulled by 1 large, or 2 smaller. Weight limits could be 2000 for the 2 wheel and 4000 for the 4 wheel, with the dino limit being based off drag weight (5× carty weight). 4. Cross breeds. Make variant versions of dinos breedable with each other. At the very least, combine any version when it comes to pack and mate boosting. 5. More breedable creatures, and better control of breeding. (Why did we get snail breeding and not Griffins?) Please keep this thread going, and add your own ideas. If we are getting a replacement ARK, make it better, not just new.
