  1. (living turret tower) Introducing Dreadnoughtus, the Terrestrial Battleship! Tags: sauropod, apex, herbivore, siege, artillery, late game, customizable saddle, maintenance, TEK disabler, OSDs, titan fights Art by RiskyBiscuits Commissioned by Tweee (thanks again!) (BACK FROM RAGNAROK NOW WITH CUSTOM ARTWORK AND UPDATED ABILITIES!) DISCLAIMER: PLEASE read through the entire submission before voting for this creature, since there may be mechanics and features you might miss if you vote on design alone. I also encourage you to do this for every other submission you see as well, so you can make a truly educated vote for what you would actually like to see in the game. If you have any feedback or ideas, leave a comment and I will address it (a Q&A is at the bottom of the post). @dynastyofdragons, @riskybiscuits0485, @sp_ce, @tweee, @grymmlee Common Name: Dreadnoughtus Species: Dreadnoughtus maximus Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Territorial Wild: “Dreadnoughtus maximus is the undisputed emperor of the wasteland, towering over everything except for the very titans themselves. While they pay no mind to those beneath them, they are incredibly hostile towards other large creatures, including other Dreadnoughtus. The adrenaline coursing through their veins in the presence of a potential threat increases their physical strength and pain resistance to an astonishing degree. To handle creatures with ties to element, it has developed the ability to absorb the kinetic energy of their attacks and convert it into an elemental pulse that weakens corruption and even disables TEK for a period of time.” Domesticated: “When they aren’t harassing other creatures, Dreadnoughtus engage in a series of daily rituals, the order of which depends on the individual. If a survivor manages to assist them with even the most minute of tasks, they may gain their trust. A Dreadnoughtus is an utter war beast when tamed. It can be fitted with a special saddle, allowing for the attachment of up to five heavy artillery weapons, along with a harpoon located on the chest designed to pierce into and reel in opponents. The dinosaur itself can be a living weapon, regurgitating acid-covered cannonballs stored in its stomach at high velocity. However, I have a word of caution for any who plan on taming one of these giants. If their needs are neglected by their masters, they will eventually throw a cataclysmic temper tantrum.” Dreadnoughtus was downsized from its original proposed size because I feel the Titanosaur should still be the largest dinosaur in the game off of its name alone, and that I (and many others) think it looks better. Art by @NeonLaboratory, Comissioned by @AgentSparkle, Feat. Captain Hannah (@hannahhvtuber) Tamed: Actions: Primary Attack (, , ): Looking Straight, Left, or Right: A long and wide neck sweep that deals high damage and high knockback to creatures in front of it. Looking Down: A fast stomp attack that deals high damage but has little knockback. Looking Up: A fast upward neck sweep that deals little damage but knocks aerial targets far. Looking Behind: A long and wide tail swipe that deals high damage and high knockback to creatures behind it. Secondary Attack (, , ): Cannonballs and Food is used as ammo for this attack. The Dreadnoughtus vomits out one of the cannonballs in its stomach, with the ball drenched in stomach acid. The more the attack is charged, the faster the shot is fired and the more damage is dealt. This shot has the properties of a normal cannonball with an added acid effect akin to the Reaper’s Acidic Blood! status effect. Roar (C, , ): A bellowing roar that causes the Dreadnoughtus’ neck spines to glow. When taking damage, you build a meter. After the roar animation plays, the sauropod will release an AOE EMP in the area in front of it, dealing damage, weakening Corrupted creatures, and disabling TEK for a duration, all of which are scaled by the amount of damage received. For those concerned about the TEK disable, imagine a disable of 5 seconds tops. The roar goes on cooldown for 120 seconds. However, the roar is strictly cosmetic if not having taken any damage at all. Tertiary Attack (Space, , ): The front of the Dreadnoughtus’ saddle has a harpoon that fires out of the chest area. It pierces into creatures of all sizes for massive damage, and holding this attack will pull them towards the Dreadnoughtus. The size and weight of the creature determines the pull speed, and the creature must escape by continuously attacking. Sleeping Animation: Like a Shadowmane or Megalosaurus, the Dreadnoughtus has a sleeping animation that can be toggled when off of its back. Passive Abilities: Giantslayer: Dreadnoughtus gain a damage and defense buff in the presence of the following creatures: Astrocetus, Brontosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, Diplodocus, Giganotosaurus, Gigantoraptor, Paraceratherium, Quetzal, Reaper (King and Queen), Rex, Rock Golem, Spino, Titanosaur, Magmasaur, Megachelon, Wyvern (all types) All Bosses (only Titans matter except for maybe SOTF since you can’t take them into arenas) ARK Additions: Acrocanthosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Deinosuchus, Deinotherium Gathering: Berries and fiber are gathered fairly decently. Wood and minerals are what it is more proficient at, however. What makes it all worth it is their incredibly high weight stat, even compared to similar sized creatures. It would be the best option in the game if it weren’t for its massive size preventing it from entering many areas. Marine Traversal: Dreadnoughtus can turn into a literal dreadnaught. It swims better than most creatures of its size, with many of its attacks and weapons intact. Like an Andrewsarchus, it can also sink and walk along the seafloor. A decently high oxygen stat allows them to sit below water for a long period of time. Heavy Artillery Saddle: The saddle of a Dreadnoughtus is unique due to its sheer customizability. There are a total of 5 equipment slots in the saddle. Turrets, ballistas, or cannons can be equipped. Cannons and ballistas are controlled manually, while turrets require gasoline in the dinosaur’s inventory to help fuel the saddle’s personal generator. 2 siege weapons on the neck, 2 on the shoulders, and 1 on the rump. Located on the chest is the previously mentioned drill-spear harpoon that resembles Monster Hunter’s Dragonator that is used directly by the driver. All riders are vulnerable except for the driver, protected in a car-like section of the saddle. Saddle References: ⚠ Maintenance ⚠: Dreadnoughtus are high maintenance creatures as mentioned earlier. This means providing constant care and attending to the dinosaur’s needs. If left ignored, the sauropod’s health will deteriorate, and its Health & Stamina Regeneration Rates will be reduced. Dreadnoughtus will actively rampage and destroy your base if it is neglected long enough. While it can be kept in a cryopod, its rage will increase the longer it remains in the cryopod. Sending it out won’t immediately trigger the rampage, but the next instance of ignoring its needs will do the trick. This is also only active when the tribe is online, so you don’t have to worry about waking up at 4:00 in the morning to take care of it. It is not meant to be an absolute drag on ARK players' lives and turning them into no-lifers, so imagine attending to its needs every couple of hours. It is not constant nor designed to be as punishing as a lot of players may think. Utility & Scenarios: PvE: Dreadnoughtus are specialized Titan killers through and through. Their fantastic stats in combination with their abilities and tools makes them great for Extinction’s boss fights, especially if an army of them are bred in the same manner Gigas typically are. They reduce the challenge of higher level OSDs and Element Vein runs, since their Giantslayer buff activates in the presence of Corrupted versions of particular creatures. On top of that, their EMP roar weakens Corrupted creatures, allowing for even more ease of completion. These sauropods may also find niches as actual sea-faring dreadnoughts or as gatherers of rare minerals, though that isn’t necessarily their primary purpose. Managing a Dreadnoughtus’ health is key for hostile confrontations, or you might find yourself on the other end of that neck. PvP: Now this is what Dreadnoughtus are designed to do. They find themselves at the top of the meta-game’s food chain, alongside the Giga and Carcha. Stats, abilities, and tools once again are incredibly useful in battles. Having survivors man multiple siege weapons mounted on the saddles turns the Dreadnoughtus into an almost unstoppable and completely destructive force. With enough turrets, ammo, and fuel, it may even become a mobile turret tower that guns things down before they even approach it. It’s terrifying in tandem with their ability to disable TEK. Their size is just about as big of a strength as it is a weakness, since it is a large target and has a hard time fighting in more claustrophobic spaces. Wild: The Dreadnoughtus is a rare spawn in the Wasteland, appearing in virtually any open space large enough for its sheer mass. Creatures the size of or larger than a Rex will attract its attention and it will aggro onto said creatures. They generally pay no mind to survivors and their tames unless they surpass the size threshold. Taming Process: The Dreadnoughtus is a massive animal that is incredibly high maintenance. They each have unique daily routines survivors can learn and adapt to accordingly. Helping a Dreadnoughtus go about their activities will develop trust and friendship between the survivors and the dinosaur. These activities include: Feeding: Feed the Dreadnoughtus vegetables or kibble. Toss a cannonball on the ground as a lure, getting the dinosaur to lower its head thinking it's a gastrolith. Then, you can feed it directly at its head. Playing: Help the Dreadnoughtus kill other dinosaurs and break structures in its territory until it is satisfied. Bathing: Clean the Dreadnoughtus of filth and parasites by using soap on its body. Sleeping: Protect the Dreadnoughtus as hordes of wild dinosaurs attempt to attack it. Enough damage from wild creatures will force the Dreadnoughtus to wake up and reduce taming effectiveness. Dreadnoughtus activities and needs rotate occasionally similar to a Moschops’ diet. Keep helping the dinosaur out until it completely trusts you. Conclusion: I personally think this concept for Dreadnoughtus would work well in the game, as a massive siege weapon that can tear through just about anything in its path. It would be one of the most powerful creatures a tribe could have except for the Titanosaur and Titans themselves, tying with the Giga and Carcha in strength. With the idea I have in mind, it would also be one of the more immersive creatures with a few of its mechanics. On Extinction specifically, the idea of a giant mobile creature with a Mad Max-style saddle fits well with the post-apocalyptic landscape. Overall, it is a fairly unique and absurd concept I’d love to see enter the game and act as the final send off to the unique and absurd original storyline of ARK. Have fun, survivors! ADDRESSING COMMENTS & CONCERNS: Q: Isn’t this just a glorified Titanosaur TLC? A: Some people have stated that Dreadnoughtus is a Titanosaur TLC, which I can see. It’s designed more to be its own creature, focusing on being a ranged attacker with its long neck and artillery, as opposed to the more brutish nature of the Titanosaur and Ark Addition’s Brachiosaurus. Titanosaurs also don’t spawn on Extinction, so Dreadnoughtus taking its place here doesn’t actively conflict with it the same way Carchar conflicts with the Giga. Q: Is it breedable? A: I think whether it's breedable or not is really up to Wildcard. Personally, I would say YES to it being breedable, but it being a pain to raise. Giganotosaurus maturation time from Baby to Adult is 10 days on official settings, so expect about 20 days up to a Month with a Dreadnoughtus on Official Settings. Might seem like a long time, but this is a Titanosaur-level creature, so gotta keep it balanced. Q: Don’t we already have enough sauropods? A: I agree the roster of sauropods is large, nearing theropod level. However, the majority of them are in an unusable state and are in dire need of a TLC. Q: This is just another “OP APEX GIGA KILLER!!!”, right? A: No, or not really. Dreadnoughtus is more designed to tackle the OSDs, Element Veins, and Titan boss fights on Extinction than to be a direct counter to Gigas and Carchars. That being said, the buff against creatures larger than a Rex does provide a unique advantage over the kings of PvP. In terms of its strength, the maintenance mechanic is built in as a drawback to prevent people using this creature so willy nilly. Q: Is the saddle the gimmick? A: I’ve heard people have concerns over when the gimmick of a particular submission is tied more to the saddle than the creature itself. The reason why the saddle plays a huge role in this Dreadnoughtus concept is to play on its name with “dreadnaught”, a type of battleship. With that in mind, why not make the saddle akin to a big gun ship? Isn’t that badass?! I also felt with a more “Mad Max” aesthetic, the saddle would fit just nicely onto Extinction, which itself is a wasteland. Q: What about PVE? A: I will not lie, Dreadnoughtus is a PvP focused tame. However, these same traits carry over to Extinction’s OSDs, Element Veins, and Titans like stated earlier. On top of that, it can be quite a good gatherer with its rate of collection and high weight stat. Q: Is it a temporary or permanent tame? A: Unlike the Titanosaur, Dreadnoughtus is not a temporary tame. Once you've tamed it, you'll keep it forever. HOWEVER, you have to keep track of its needs and desires through the Maintenance mechanic, meaning you'll need to feed it, bathe it, or let it sleep some. If you don't do what it asks of you, than it will go on a rampage and destroy everything in sight. It's a permanent tame with a huge drawback that balances out it's impressive strength.
  2. Hello hello, thank you for checking out my submission! Given the results of the previous few votes, myself and a few others have decided to submit pterosaurs for this vote. The last pterosaur we got was the Sinomacrops, but it wasnt exactly rideable, sooo ZCI5250 presents: Darwinopterus acuticornus: the Corruption's Chaotic Vessel! ^ Darwinopterus main feature ^ A Darwinopterus defending its perch from another ^average day in the wastelands (go vote for katanaa's hatzeg!) ^ art by Drawolfknight!! Go check out their thylacosmilus sub as well Dossier: *dossier flashes between corrupted and uncorrupted ver (Read caption below) Size comparison: To quickly address the concerns of Darwin being way too big, my concept has the darwinopterus around the same size as a pteranodon, albeit slightly longer. This size was also chosen as it was the bare minimum for a player to not look silly riding on the back of it. With that out of the way, enjoy the rest of the sub!! Main gimmicks: Corruption, affliction and addiction: Darwinopterus's main ability is corrupting its own crest to use as a weapon. Basically, I meant for it to have adapted to be immune to corruption in its whole body except for its crest. Darwinopterus hunts corrupted creatures instinctually to eat their flesh and corrupt itself. In a sense, it's kinda "addicted" to corruption. On maps outside of extinction or where players dont have access to corrupted nodules, they can also feed their Darwinopterus element shards as a substitute for the nodules Darwinopterus will take a varying amount of corrupted nodules OR element shards to get to max corruption based on its addiction level. Think Ferox, but with an additional bar for corruption level. Darwinopterus has 5 different visual and mechanical stages of corruption, and it gains 3 base damage to its attacks per stage. A Darwinopterus switches its moves as long as it has any corruption at all. When a Darwinopterus attacks something with its corrupted crest, it has a chance to inflict a 15 second "Element infection" debuff that makes the target more vulnerable to dmg from all element-related sources, including corrupted creatures. Stats, finisher and crest conditions: When uncorrupted, Darwinopterus is about as strong as a pteranodon with slightly more HP and attack. The corruption is where the Darwinopterus's true potential lies though. When corrupted, Darwinopterus slashes at things with its crest instead of biting. It also does slightly more damage when gliding, kinda like a griffin. After using up all of its corruption, if the Darwinopterus is not constantly fed corrupted nodules, its crest will break, and it wont be able to corrupt itself for about 10 seconds while it “recovers”. When a creature is below 10% of their max HP, the Darwinopterus can do a finishing move on them which is activated by gliding and colliding with the creature. This will cause the Darwinopterus to phase through the creature, as it has "sliced it clean in half", and kill it instantly. This move, however, does not work on bosses. The Darwinopterus also has a separate finishing move that hits up to 5 times and has an extremely high dmg output, but breaks the crest completely Usage and applications outside of Extinction: Darwinopterus would be a good supporting and attacking creature, especially in the wastelands of Extinction given the plentiful corruption. It would have excellent synergy with meks and enforcers, both the astrocetus and astrodelphis, and anything else that attacks with element. Darwinopterus would be especially useful in the King Titan bossfight, as inflicting the titan with elemental infection allows the mega mek to deal additional damage to it. Outside of Extinction, Darwinopterus would also be a good late game tame, as tribes with sufficient element shards can use their Darwinopterus to their full potentials. Darwinopterus would also be good for PvP scenarios, as it can be used to fly by soakers and inflict them with element infection, so they can be killed more easily. Its finisher can also be used to kill tames that are super low on HP in one shot before the opposing tribe can cryo them or heal them up to above 10% Base Stats: HP: 250 Stamina: 200 Oxygen: 150 Food: 1200 Weight: 150 Torpor: 150 Moveset: (quick note: Darwinopterus CAN in fact fly, it is listed under spacebar with takeoff/landing. There seems to be people who may have missed this, so i felt the need to point it out) Uncorrupted: - Primary attack (,,) : Bite, base 20 dmg - Secondary attack (,,) : Mouth grab, base 1 dmg - C//(Landed only): Wing flap, does knockback, base 5 dmg - Spacebar// : Take off/Land - Can glide Corrupted (Moveset switches upon corruption, easiest indicator is the patterns turning purple): - Primary attack (,,) : Crest slash, base 25 dmg, gains damage per corruption stage for up to 40 dmg when fully corrupted. (Uses 1% of corruption per hit) - Secondary attack (,,) : Mouth grab, base 1 dmg - C//: Finisher slash, base 40 dmg, hits up to 5 times depending on corruption level and fully shatters crest. Last hit does base 50 dmg. (Uses up all corruption) (very anime lol) - Spacebar// : Take off/Land - Can glide, gliding into a creature with less than 10% of its max HP will do a finishing move that instakills it (100% corruption required to perform manouvre, uses 25% corruption) Taming: Taming a wild Darwinopterus consists of two stages: Feeding and riding. Stage 1: Feeding Since wild Darwinopterus only hunt corrupted creatures. survivors can walk right up to them safely. You will have to passively feed a Darwinopterus corrupted nodules and watch for five visual stages of its crest to signify full corruption. The Darwinopterus will screech and flutter its wings, and the patterns on its back will turn purple and pulsate violently for a while to signify that it is fully corrupted. crest corruption in action: Stage 2: Riding Stage 2 begins when the Darwinopterus plays its full corruption animation. At this point, you will have to quickly get on the back of the Darwinopterus, and guide it to kill corrupted creatures. The corruption on its crest will get chipped off with every attack just like when tamed, and when the crest is fully broken, the Darwinopterus will land and buck you off. At this point, you have to go back to stage 1. Repeat until tamed. How to fail: - attacking the Darwinopterus in any way when uncorrupted will cause it to see you as a threat and attack - getting the Darwinopterus to below 25% HP in stage 2 will cause it to buck you off and flee. 3. (Art by Dilong, colorized by RiskyBiscuits) Collab art by the Darwinopterus creator, Zci5250! (If you haven't yet, go check out Darwinopterus!) (These sketches were made by Dekaexis!) ================================= (Everyone aforementioned made the art in this dossier, written by me, composed by Sp_ace) Common Name: Hatzegopteryx Species: Hatzegopteryx kukulkan Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Highly aggressive Wild: “Seeing a creature not fully corrupted in the wastelands is extraordinarily rare, if not thought impossible, until today that is, Hatzegopteryx Kukulkan is a savage monster of the skies, as of writing this I’m observing it tearing into the element vein towers that scatter the wastes! Additionally it’s defending itself from any corrupted creatures with dangerously quick efficiency, be it slugging them on the ground with its heavy fists or shredding them apart with its massive maw. While it's not the greatest at flying, it sure isn’t the best to combat in the sky, as it seemingly has a tactic to effectively grapple a creature out of the skies and slam it into the earth!” Domesticated: “Despite its sheer ferocity, there does seem to be evidence that it can be domesticated, Hatzegopteryx seems to enjoy the thrill of battle, even from a young age, so any good adversary that can gain its respect may let it domesticate it. Though, you’d have to be utterly insane to even attempt that! All things considered however, a domesticated Hatzegopteryx would in theory be excellent for taking on hordes of corrupteds and gathering their nodules, additionally it would be great for harvesting the rich amount of element those corrupted spires contain.” Introduction: Hello Extinction survivors, I present Hatzegopteryx Kukulkan as my submission! This fierce pterosaur will show you efficiency on both land and sky combat, while also giving you an excellent counter to corrupted creatures (let's be honest, enforcers are bad) and even the titans! I hope you enjoy this submission, as it was a collaborative effort with Tweee. Now onto the summary! - Receives the “Titan slayer” buff when fighting against a titan, this buff gives it 30% damage reduction and a 15% damage boost, additionally it is unaffected by any of the special abilities the titans have, the forest titans uprooting for example. - Has a passive 10% damage boost and reduction against corrupted creatures. This counts for tumors as well. - Is the best at gathering element dust, element shards, element and corrupted nodules from element veins. - After defeating any of the titans, you are able to make a platform saddle for it, though “outpost” saddle is more fitting. This unique tek-platform-saddle comes equipped with a built-in TEK generator, though you need to supply the saddle with element to keep it running of course. When clinged to a surface, on ground or flight it will shift its position to conform with the Hatzegopteryx body. - This saddle also has a stationary mode for when you need creatures to come up onto the platform, this stationary mode will deploy a staircase. - If fed element, it can become its own TEK saddle (somewhat similar to how Ferox function with element feeding, needs to be fed a certain amount) with 1 unique ability: - The ability it can activate is “Element overflow” of which it is able to deal 10% more damage for 10% of its health taken away. Additionally, the attacks boosted by this cause mechanical creatures (Enforcers and what not) to malfunction and be stunned for a short while, though this has a grace period, This is essentially a trade-off type ability. - Can cling to surfaces similar to a Tapejara, but more like it brute forces itself onto the surface with its strength. - Has its own unique apex drop called “Hatzegopteryx jaw” this item is required in the taming of Hatzegopteryx! Size: 1.5-2x the size of a Quetzal (Sizing by VaporVenator) 1.5X 2.0X Suggested Base Stats: Health: 1450 Stamina: 700 Oxygen: 150 Food: 1200 Weight: 600 Melee Damage: Found in the “Actions Section” per each attack. Movement Speed: 100% (Not as fast as a wyvern, though it can sprint faster than a wyvern on the ground.) Torpidity: N/A Wild: Hatzegopteryx can be seen flying throughout the wastelands hunting corrupted creatures, though if you are spotted you will absolutely be targeted. It is most commonly found wherever an element vein may be. They may also be rarely found in the Sunken Forest. Wild Baby Behavior: Hatzegopteryx as babies in the wild share the same aggressiveness that adults do! However, they are a rare sight to see and have no use for Hatzegopteryx jaws (they do not drop them) and are unable to be tamed. (Art done by Sovi) Titan Clinging: Hatzegopteryx are able to cling onto Titans similar to how Deinonychus are able to latch onto creatures, the cling locations for the Titans are where the tumors on them are. Once a Hatzegopteryx is clung onto the corrupted tumor, it is able to shred at it with reduced damage to the Titan itself, though be wary as it is very stamina intensive. (Art done by Jade) Platform Saddle Shifting: The platform of Hatzegopteryx is different than that of Quetzal, since it is able to cling and has a different posture than Quetzal, its platform saddle is able to shift into different positions depending on if its airborne, grounded, latched onto a surface or diving! Art of it taking off and latched are displayed currently. (Art done by ZCI5250) Taming Process: To tame a Hatzegopteryx you must first challenge it to a fight with a “Hatzegopteryx jaw” in your inventory, it will sense this and then begin to fight you as it sees you as a worthy adversary. When it gets to a low enough health point it will become “tired out” you must then use this opportunity to mount it, after that it will take off into the air, you must try to not get knocked off by rapid button mashing! If you fail, you’ll have to fight it again. - When you start breeding Hatzegopteryx, be wary of the babies as they will attack you at random! Alternate Taming Process suggestion: (This is a complete alternative, I am not suggesting it as a dual taming method type creature. It would either be one or the other.) Alternatively the sunken forest would have an area where wild Hatzegopteryx live when away from the wastelands, in this area Hatzegotperyx eggs may be found, though not without venturing deep within the tight caverns that seldom creatures fit without the threat of Hatzegopteryx spotting you. – This is a complete alternative, mainly due to the fact that Extinction does not have a creature with an egg-steal method, while Scorched Earth, Aberration and Genesis 1 do. Tamed: Congratulations! You’ve successfully tamed a Hatzegopteryx! Actions: - LMB (Or its controller equivalent): Performs a bite attack while in the air but a hook/punch while on the ground, with a base of 75 damage. Additionally this gathers from element nodes/veins. - RMB (Or its controller equivalent): Locks onto a flier of large enough size (Argentavis and up) and then proceeds to grapple onto them, this will cause it to rapidly descend into the ground and slam the enemy, the base damage increases the higher you go, ranging from 70 at the lowest to 150 at the highest, however taking 5% of health. Both Hatzegopteryx and the enemy flier will be unable to fly for a short while as well. Though this attack can miss and will cost a chunk of stamina and may not be used immediately after, so it's recommended to only do it on near wyvern sized fliers, this counts for gliding Rock Drakes or jumping Managarmr as well. - This attack will also allow you to cling onto the tumors on titans and shred them, which costs heavy stamina to stay on however. - C (Or controller equivalent): Aesthetic roar. - X (Or controller equivalent): Activates “Element overflow” when fed with enough element. - Spacebar (Or controller equivalent): Flight - Shift (Or controller equivalent): Sprinting on both land and sky. - Looking downwards: Gliding similar to Desmodus. Though this functions as a divebomb as well, as if it hits the ground it will cause a knock-back to creatures within its radius, though it does not do much damage (Roughly 30 base damage that barely scales). Utility & Scenarios: PvE: While at first glance Hatzegopteryx may seem to lean far into a PvP niche, it does not, it is incredibly useful for its element vein gathering capabilities, moreover it is great for clearing out both sky and ground threats on OSD’s. Additionally, it is perfect to bring along for titan fights, especially against the desert titan. PvP: Hatzegopteryx has excellence in a PvP niche as well, being able to effectively tackle other apex fliers is handy, especially since it is able to close the range between it and a wyvern for example, moreover it is able to combat Managarmrs with its grapple attack. And with its “Element overflow” ability, it's able to combat Meks as well. Counter: Hatzegopteryx is worse at sky combat than ground combat, so you can effectively use a fast flier to dodge its grapple attack. After that, you may attack at it until it can perform another grapple, though it's still best to watch out for its attacks, as it still does a hefty amount of damage. It's best to combat a Hatzegopteryx on the ground with an equal ground mount, such as a Rex. Additionally, flying for Hatzegopteryx costs more stamina than any other flier, so tiring one out in sky combat is viable. Conclusion: To conclude this submission, I believe Hatzegopteryx has a good niche carved out for what Extinction offers in terms of gameplay, filling in an otherwise untouched niche. While yes enforcer “covers it already” enforcers are just bad and not suited for late game, and is the main reason for Hatzegopteryx’s niche. Additionally, I believe there is a good balance between its PvP and PvE prowess, though that's up to you of course! Besides all that, I hope you enjoyed reading through the submission and vote for it in the end! Other interpretations: RiskyBiscuits:
  4. Harpagornis Moorei! The Titan-Tackling Terror of the Skies! The Eagle permanently resides in the highest parts of the Ark’s airspace, far beyond sight of those on the ground. Wild Eagles hover about the Ark as if it has unlimited stamina, and is obviously an aggressive creature. Similar to the Mosasaur underwater, the Eagle is the most fearsome creature up high, yet it prefers not to fly too close to the ground. If an unwitting flier approaches too close, all it needs to do to escape is head down! If not, the Roc swoops in on giant wings, and those talons can cause some significant bleeding! As you know, bleeding fliers are practically useless, so you’ll really want to dodge that attack! To tame an Eagle, tribes will need to employ their best flying creatures and load up on ammunition, as the Harpagornis will need knocking out whilst it flies, similar to a Quetz. If it wakes on the ground, it will immediately fly upward until it reaches the safety of the sky. Clever survivors will build traps to prevent the Eagle from escaping! Tamed birds are fearsome battle mounts, as nothing rivals them in the air. They can even prey on the largest land mounts such as Giganotosaurus or Titanosaur by slashing with their talons and waiting above for their poor prey to bleed out. Tamed Eagles will, of course, land on the ground when commanded, and they can create their own nest which serves as a natural egg incubator for other eggs; this will be a temporary structure which can be damaged, so be careful where you place it. The nest will have 3 spaces for eggs, and will keep them perfectly incubated unless the nest is destroyed. Tamed Eagles can create two nests, and when roosting at one, they can be told to fly to the other nest without a rider, allowing them to transport items, dinosaurs, and even people with no rider! This is designed to be a higher-end alternative to teleportation without using tek, as I know ASA will be able to implement the tracking required. The Eagle would fly directly up to a set height, fly across, then descend straight down. Be careful using this feature on PVP! As discussed, they’ll have a normal attack and a special talon attack similar to an Allo chomp which inflicts a chunky bleed effect. Eagles will be able to pick up creatures up to Rex size (no bigger!) and can attack whilst holding a creature. Their speed would likely be around Quetz flight speed or up to Giga run speed at full sprint, as a super-strong, super-fast bird is likely to be hell unless you have turrets galore. This will be the ultimate king of the sky, a true terror of the clouds. But we're not done yet! The Eagle has adapted to Extinction like a fish to water, and they now come equipped with a titan-damaging attack which does 130% more damage to normal Titans, and a whopping 150% more damage to the King Titan! If you're able to tame a flock of these behemoths, they'll be a great asset in the boss fights! Whilst them to attack and watch them swoop in to inflict some major bleed damage on the Titans! Scared of traversing the wastelands without a Tek Skiff? Worry no more, as even those pesky Corrupted Gigas cant touch you whilst you soar above the ravaged Earth! Better yet, feed the Haast Eagle enough corrupted material, and it enters a new damage mode with a new ability: Corrupted Bleed! This does bonus damage against corrupted creatures, allowing the Haast Eagle to go toe-to-toe against waves of the suckers in the defence modes! Please consider voting for my big birdy boi! Any comments or upvotes are SERIOUSLY appeciated!!
  5. READ THIS TEXT BEFORE YOU JUDGE MY IDEA I'm currently learning English so if you find any type of grammatical error please let me know. Also, I did my best to draw the concept art, but still, in my opinion, it is very bad. But, you can't judge any type of submission by design, but with their mechanics and Gimmicks (at least in my opinion). Of course it helps to give the viewer a picture of the creature itself so it is very important piece of the submission, that's why I did that "master piece". ------------------------‐---‐-------------- Hi! This is my first time submiting a creature concept, so I hope that you like it! ------------------------‐---‐-------------- Dossier Information Commun name: Edmontosaurus Species: Edmontosaurus incuruptus Time: Late Cretacic Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Aggresive Wild "I covered a very good chunk of the Wastelands, but I didn't see one single time that this massive creatures weren't alongside some type of corrupted creature, and sometimes, various types of them. They weren't attacking or intimidating each other. I think that they have a symbiotic relationship, like Carnotaurus and Yutyranus have." "Even though it is obviously a herbivore, doe to its herbivore like atonomy, I didn't saw a single speciemen feeding of berries or plants or even drinking water. This obviously happens because of the lack of food and water that the Wastelands have to offer." Domesticated "When domesticated, this creatures have two main uses: battling basicly any type of living being and gathering and storing important corrupted resources, and it does those things fantastically. If any survivor as at least one of them, they are prepared to face of basicly every single threat that they come up with, specially Element involved threats, like corrupted animals, doe to its roar that somehow only intimidates the heartless creatures." ------------------------‐---‐-------------- How do they communicate with the Corrupted Creatures? In the first few days of their life as an adult, they don't know how to make any type of contact with the brainless creatures, some weak and/or curious Edmontosaurus even dye trying, but the most patient ones listen to their calls and cries of the corrupted animal, and then they mysteriously associatte their noises to cries and roars to what they mean. When they learned how to communicate, the Edmontosaurus slowly approuch the corrupted creatures's packs. While doing so, they start to move their nostrils, to emit copies of noises of the bloodthirsty monsters. The creatures quickly realise that they want to be part of the group, and normaly they let them enter. How do the Edmontosaurus react with Element? Their skin absorbs Element when this substance touches it, so Tek weaponry doesn't affect this creature at all. When absorbed, it is stored in its sail. When their sail Element reservoir space is almost depleting, the Edmontosaurus start to freneticly rub its sail. While doing that, the Element starts to liquidate. After that, it regurgitates it. This Element like substance can be used as a normal Element. The regurgitation process isn't dangerous because of its special enzyme that it produces alongside of its saliva that makes the Edmontosaurus insides invulnerable to the Element effects. How do the Edmontosaurus find food and water in the Wasteland Zone? They don't. When Edmontosaurus are born, the yolk of their egg is so big, that it has nutrients for mouths before it straves to death. This creature doesn't need to live long though, since the most important actions that they need to do in its life is to grow to adulthood and then breed. But when domesticated, this cycle breaks, doe to having acess to food. ------------------------‐---‐-------------- In- Game Overall Description Size (largest specimen) Height: 3 metres or 9 ft Length: 15 metres/49 ft Weigth: 4 metric tons/4.4 short tons Taming Method: Knock-Out Torpor Drop Rate: Average Most of the creatures defend themselfs from the corrupted creatures, and some sucumb from the Element itself, while Edmontosaurus takes advantage of this alien plague. The heartless, bloodthirsty and territorial nature of this creature makes it one of the brutest creature in the Wasteland Zone, feared from almost every animal that steps on its territory. They are so aggressive that they don't even tolerate other Edmontosaurus, but, surprisingly, it helps corrupted creatures when they are hunting and in exchange they will give it protection, even though that it is more than capable of defending themselfs. When a Edmontosaurus is tamed, it stops being friendly to the corrupted creatures, and vice-versa, but still, it can communicate with them. The survivor can use that in its favour. Intimidating the corrupted bodies for a few seconds and then encourage its own creatures to deal with the mighty infected souls. And even out of the corrupted battleground, it's a force to be wrecken with. ------------------------‐---‐-------------- Abilities and Saddle Headbutt- Headbuts the foes that are in its front. Doesn't have any secondary effect. Barely affects its stamina. 0.5 second cooldown. Tail Slam- Slams it's tail in the foes that are in its back. Stuns the foe for 0.5 seconds. Drains some of its stamina. 1.5 second cooldown. Stomp- Stomps its foes with their higth limbs, dealing great damage and decreasing the attacked creature's movement speed significantly. It can also inflict little damage to Metal Structures. Drains a significant amount of stamina. 2 second cooldown. Roar- This roar not only makes the surrounding corrupted creatures attack and speed decreased, but it also gives their companions and itself a damage and speed buff while attacking a corrupted creature. The roar's effects lasts for 10 seconds. Drains a significant amount of stamina. 1 second cooldown. The roar effects can't be stacked. Double Element Jet (Saddle Exclusive)- If attacked by a Tek/Element 10 times or after giving it 5 Element to feed, it will be able to activate a Double Element Jet, that can be activated whenever the player pleases, but if used, it needs to do be attacked or feed again. 15 seconds cooldown. Harvests Corrupted Nodule, Corrupt Heart, Element, Element Dust, Element Ore, Element Shard, Fungal Wood, Wood Thatch and Fiber pretty well Corrupted Nodule, Corrupt Heart, Element, Element Dust, Element Ore, Element Shard and Fungal Wood suffer a 50% weigth reduction when they are in its inventory. Corrupt Nodule spoils 2x times slower than being in another creature's inventory. When it's corpse is harvested, it gives Meat, Prime Meat, Hide and when killed it drops an exclusive item, Edmontosaurus Crest. If this item is in the players last slot, wild Edmontosaurus agro range is decreased drasticly. Immune to any Tek/Element related damage If attacked by a Tek/Element 10 times or after giving it 5 Element in theire inventory, it starts to rub its sail in the ground, making it vulnerable to attacks, being impossible to mount and attack. After that, it runs another animation of it regurgitating a Element like substance that can be colected, working as a normal Element. If it has a saddle equiped , it doesn't rub itself in the ground. ------------------------‐---‐-------------- Stats Health- Slightly bigger than the T.Rex's Stamina- A half bigger than the T.Rex's Oxygen- Similar to the Rex's Food- Similar to Rex's Weight- Similar to the Paracetherium's Melee Damage- Slightly smaller than the T.Rex's Movement Speed- Slightly smaller than the Hydration boosted Spinosaur ------------------------‐---‐-------------- Thank you for reading my concept. If you have any idea to make this concept better please let me know. ------------------------‐---‐------------- ------------------------------------------ If you want to know more about the fantastic extinct animal that I inspired for the creature that I created ( I just changed its cientific name and added some interesting characteristics), I have a link for a Wikipedia site rigth here: https://pt.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edmontosaurus ------------------------‐---‐----------‐---
  6. Maip was a large carnivorous theropod, belonging to the Maastrichtian Cretaceous, and for now the largest known megaraptorid -art and description for gaborex Dossier description Wild -Temperament:cautious -Diet:carnivore -Time:cretaceous -Species:maip dynastes -Spawn: the wastland This place does not seem like a viable area for life, but somehow, organisms always find a way to move on, and maip is the perfect definition of this, this creature has shown incredible strength, and above all, intelligence even Most impressive, despite its size, it is incredibly agile and fast, thanks to this, it has achieved success comparable to or greater than most creatures I've ever met! Tamed Taming one of these is probably the hardest task I've ever come across, even harder than dealing with managarms, they are very smart and don't get fooled by any trick, but luckily, the result is worth it. I have noticed that its huge claws have a complex system of vessels and muscles that it can use as if it were a spur, releasing toxins or electricity in a controlled manner, as well as contracting its hands to maim its prey. Introduction Maip is created as a creature focused primarily for combat, both pvp and pve, armed with a skill kit made primarily for combat against groups of enemies, having a great ability to retain and damage multiple targets in a lethal way, as well as can easily withstand and recover from various types of damage without much trouble. Domestication To tame maip, we will have to challenge him to play his own game, to start it you will only have to approach and accept it it will consist of damaging wild creatures for 3 minutes in a game of three rounds, if you manage to win, you will be able to go to the next phase, if You don't succeed, Maip will become aggressive. after winning the 3 rounds, Maip will challenge you to a fight, in which you will have to damage him below 10% of his maximum life, when you achieve this, Maip will fall exhausted and will scream to attract to creatures which will go directly to attack maip, when asleep, maip will quickly lose torpor, so you will have to give him narcotics constantly. to tame it, you will have to feed it meat or kibble extraordinary. (saddle design) Food preference Abilities - Attacks -Basic attack: A quick and deadly claws -right click:a lethal stabbing This attack reduces the mobility of the target, causing a brief bleed, added to this, by dealing damage with attacks and abilities, you can charge your claw to use one of its modes. to change mode you have to hold ctrl + and to use hold ctrl + for special claws 1-Lethal contraction:This mode greatly increases backstab damage and grants 100% armor penetration, completely ignoring the target's defenses, as well as applying 15% bleed, greatly reducing the target's speed and preventing raise the gun flying or using movement moves, as with the other modes, when using this mode you will get a buff for 15 seconds that will increase your life steal by 10% and grant you the ability to inflict bleeding 2-Poison spur:This claw allows you to unleash a powerful toxin on your enemy as well as release a cloud of poison around you, this poison ignores armor and causes stamina loss and increased torpor, the buff allows you to inflict the toxin with your basic attacks and grants you immunity to poisons or bleeds 3-electrosock:By using this claw you will create a huge electrical discharge that will strongly paralyze the target on which you used it, if there are enemies nearby the shock effect will spread between them, the effect will stun them, causing the targets hit to miss attacks and have reduced damage , the stun effect will last 6 seconds on the main target and 1.5 on the targets hit, the buff of this claw will increase your speed and allow you to inflict small electric shocks on your enemies which will slow them down and reduce their damage. -C:jump of faith:you jump in a guided manner towards your enemy, damaging the rider and the mount, stunning them both. -X:razing rampage: a quick movement towards the direction you are facing, you have two modes, bleeding: when you move you cut, which inflicts bleeding on the targets hit and heals you. -X+ctrl:His other mode, instead of rending, you hit your enemy hard, which stun and slows them down, as well as weakens their armor. -z:reaping:The map slices into a cone-shaped area to everything in front, this inflicts blindness, reducing the target's mobility and armor, healing you in the process. -R:devastating blow:Maip spins around like a reaper, stunning all enemies around her and dismounting their riders. Jump:a big jump which can cover a long distance in a short time, this can be a simple and short jump by pressing space or it can be a charged jump similar to that of shadowmene, which can be maneuvered Buffs and passives -Q:hunting hour:maip roars which provides him with a series of benefits and weakens his enemies buffs:maip gains 35% resistance to all types of negative effects such as fire, bleeding and poisons, resistance that also applies to stuns, this improvement grants 20% damage and reduction of damage received during the 60 seconds of effect. This roar marks all nearby creatures, this causes the marked creatures to take 15% more damage and be more susceptible to the yutyrannus scream. When killing a marked creature, depending on its size, you will get a longer effect time which is cumulative By killing marked creatures you will get a hunting improvement, which will increase your life regeneration, life steal and damage, the increase in these statistics will depend on the size of the killed creatures, similar to the blood rage of the carcha, having a buildup maximum of 10 series, each series allows you to kill 10 creatures, by completing each series you will get a small bonus related to these 3 statistics -Passives pseudotek shield: maip can use the corrupted nodules to generate a barrier, which blocks stuns and damage, but when hit by a stun like shadowmane's it is automatically destroyed, to create it is enough to have corrupted nodules in maip's inventory and at doing damage with it will generate a barrier which, when active, prevents any creature from peaking you or maip(the barrier blocks any kind of bleeding) Beneficial Bleeding: When attacking a target under any bleed effect, you will be healed, this healing increases according to the amount and type of bleeds that affect the target you are attacking, likewise, when you are under any healing effect such as lethal contraction , this healing is increased by 18% trophies:maip can use parts of his prey as improvements to himself, thanks to this, depending on the part and type of creature from which the part was extracted, maip can obtain certain benefits, such as extra resistances, damage improvements and increases to his mobility These trophies are spent when receiving damage, as if they were pieces of armor, but they can be reinforced, as well as we can obtain better quality trophies by killing creatures of high levels or statistics. Breeding:maip has a different imprinting process than most creatures, its growth and spawning intervals are slow, but the important thing is in the hatchlings and their training, to gain the trust of their hatchlings, you will have to offer them domesticated creatures as a sacrifice , after that, they will be yours, but to be able to imprint them, you will have to take them to hunt wild creatures, depending on the size, level and danger that your wild rivals suppose, the hatchlings will receive a certain amount of imprint Conclucion:Thank you all very much for visiting my proposal and good luck to all those who participate in these votes!!!
  7. Common Name: Gojirasaurus Species Name: Gojirasaurus Dominious Time: Late Triassic Diet: Carnivore Temperment: Extremely Aggressive Wild: Surprisingly larger in comparison to how large the fossilized skeletons I had seen were, Gojirasaurus Dominious is larger than Allosaurus but slightly smaller than the Rex. Despite that size factor, Gojirasaurus Dominious had managed to become one of the apex predators of the wasteland for a few good reasons. Though it maybe true that they are known to go after various different creatures. But their overall hatred is directed towards the corrupted creatures, as well as some of the stray robotic units that stray too far from the sanctuary. Gojirasaurus Dominious seems to have utilized both it's jaws, and strong powerful tail in terms of the brawling category. While it also possesses dorsal spines that it must've developed as a unique adaptation which allow it to not only absorb the energy of the element they tend to consume, but to also unleash it as either a powerful elemental breath of blue fire, or when it is completely surrounded, releases a pulse of energy to knock most surrounding foes back which allow for an easy escape for it. And to top it all off, it's just as fast as Allosaurus, though it's slower than Carnotaurus in comparison. Domesticated: At first it wasn't known if it even is possible to tame a Gojirasaurus Dominious as it is immune to various tranquilizing substances, that was until I saw a few clever survivors manage to tame it by just dropping some element around it as an offering to it. As soon at it's tamed it, it had proven to be quite a very vital creature. I'd imagine that it would make dealing with hordes of corrupted creatures a bit easier due to it's formidable combat prowess. I fell like they would at least keep a stash of element on the creature at all times if they want it to be able to use it's remarkable abilities in combat as well. And who knows, maybe a few tamed Gojirasaurus Dominious could possibly stand a chance against the some of the Titans themselves.
  8. Image at the bottom! Dang Forums making it hard to see... Dossier: “It always surprises me when I find extinct animals on the Ark that are so much larger than they should be! Such is the case with the Harpagornis Moorei, now a winged omen of death! Almost permanently flying as high as the Ark reaches, it never descends below a certain altitude and hunts anything that flies up to meet it. Get too close and the Haast Eagle, as it’s informally known, shreds its prey with those enormous talons! Anything unlucky enough to be caught will quickly bleed out, and trying to outfly that winged terror when slowed is a recipe for a grisly end. Taming the Haast Eagle takes aerial supremacy for any tribe; it must be knocked out high in the air, and a keen-eyed Survivor can look out for their nests atop mountains to signify an Eagle is high above! Tamed Harpagornis are incredible battle-mounts, capable of lifting creatures bigger than itself and tearing them apart. I’ve seen a tamed Eagle build two nests across the Ark, flying between them by command without a rider! These could be useful for long-distance transport, and their nests are so cosy that they act as a primitive incubator for eggs!” Art by the brilliant @timinybillybob - look him up on the webz! Description: So, you’re off flying round the Ark. It’s a lovely sunny day, you’re high above those Gigas, and the shield dome shimmers above. But wait, what’s that ahead? You’ve flown too high, flown too close. The Haast Eagle has spotted you, and you’re going to have to get out of there! Alright, so look, I know the Latin name was changed, but Harpagornis just sounds better. I love flying round on Ark, as it’s easily the easiest way of getting around. Aberration even blocks fliers to make it harder. But still, jump on a Pteranodon, a Quetz, fly up and the only threat is running out of stamina. Maybe a Wyvern or Argy if you nip to the loo and forget to land somewhere safe, but still, the airspace of the Ark is too comfortable. No longer! The Harpagornis was the largest recorded Eagle of all time, and was a fearsome hunter capable of taking down Giant Moa, performing strong attacks to knock its prey down. They were also similar to vultures, slurping out insides from corpses they would find. “But it sounds like an Argy!” I hear you say. Yep, it’s a big bird boi! The Harpagornis will be, literally, the sky-Giga. The deep ocean has Mosa and Squid which won’t follow you upwards, the ground has Gigas and Carchas which won’t follow you toooo far, and the sky will have the Haast Eagle, which won’t follow you down. There would only be one or two spawning at a time, similar to a Giga, due to their incredible health, damage potential, and stamina. Please consider voting for my big birdy boi! I’d love to hear any feedback as, together, we can all get the Haast Eagle into Ark! If you have any ability ideas, feel free to post and fingers crossed Wildcard can choose the best of all of our ideas! Hey look, you made it to the end! You’re a good egg.
  9. INTRODUCING PREADATOR X :THE FEAR OF THE OCEAN Arks oceans are a very dangerous and scary place early on in Ark. but as you evolve, it becomes less and less daunting. The concept is here to change that. Pliosaurus or Preadator X is a creature that is to be feared. As soon as you enter water up to your waist, you better hope you forgot to put food away, because it’s minions commonly known as ENCHODUS will seek in on you about 3 at a time and drag you under to your doom. The living room that is… so that was a brief intro on my creature, but here is a more in depth analysis including a longer “story” I couldn’t fit in the dossier. ABILITYS (wild) Preadator X’s first and most notable ability is its minion ability. If you enter water deep enough to drink from, depending on the type, any food will give a smell that Enchodus can laser in on. They will then drag you down to the approaching Pliosaur and gnash you in process. The only way to escape is by killing all of them. If you fail to escape, they will bring you close to the Pliosaur and release you and leave. The Pliosaur will then try to suck you in using a powerful whirlpool like ability. In this state it becomes stationary and swimming out of the whirlpool (if you can) will secure your life. The second way is while the whirl pool is sucking you in, toss in a poison grenade to falter the Pliosaur and deal torpor. This is only way to apply torpor to tame this creature. However if you don’t manage to escape, the Pliosaurs mouth will snap shut, dealing massive damage, disabling tek, and applying bleed. If you are lucky to survive this, you will likely be too far down and drown or the Pliosaur will suck you in again. Preadator X concept ABILITYS (tamed) Once tamed, Preadator X has a very tanky saddle and many abilities. It’s first is the same as the wild ability to suck in nearby creatures with the effect as wild. It’s second ability is to summon enchodus that while are tamed by the survivor, but loyal only to the Pliosaur. They will flank the Pliosaur like a living force field that when the Pliosaur is attacked, the enchodus take the damage instead. They can also be commanded by the Pliosaur to attack a single target and if it goes below 15% health will be taken back to Pliosaur and the Pliosaur will heal some health when it eats that target. However Preadator X’s most powerful ability is after charging up energy by killing, it will gain the ability to control enemy and wild tames and they will knock off and damage the riders and swim towards the Pliosaur becoming passive. After being uncontrolled the Preadator Gains 25% of each creatures damage (the limit of controlled creatures is 8 )and it will take the damage for its own lasting 30 seconds but will take 50% more damage for this duration. Pliosaur can also go on land but it has a water stat that the higher it is the faster it will go on land and water. Being on land will lower it, wear-as being in water fills it. Enchodus concept HELENA NARRATION I have encountered many dangers in the oceans of many Arks but none surpass the threat and fear of Preadator X. It is feared by all due to its nature of ambushing with low chance of escape. I have however seen a tribe take one down, and an even more fearless tribe manage to actually tame one. I was very puzzled on how they managed to do it but after a lot of watching, and a lot of injuries I managed to knock one out and tame it. It is done by the little used Poison grenades thrown in the mouth when the opportunity presents itself. Once knocked out any kibble will do, but for some reason enchodus flesh works much better. A tamed Pliosaur is very useful in many situations but one I can remember is when I was corned by the shoreline by and enemy tribe and my tamed Preadator X leaped out of the water and kills the leader sending the rest fleeing in terror. -Helena Walker quick side note: my original plan for this creature was to have it on Val or lost island or fjordur, but this is mostly to. Raise impressions so don’t feel obligated to vote this time, save it you can for another map. Thank you reading - Baryonyx A239
  10. WIKI: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceafornotensis Common Name: Ballistic Beetle Species: Ceafornotensis archratiras Time: Mesozoic Diet: Omnivor Temperament: Territorial The Art thanks to DJayMasi, i invite you to take a look at his spectacular drawings at: https://www.deviantart.com/djaymasi Wild: "Luckily I didn't have the need to get too close to these huge beetles, they are highly territorial and took control of all the huge roots that extend completely into the Luminous Marshlands area within the bio-luminisence region of the Ark, there is always a couple protecting their larvae or some males wandering through the area. The diet of these adult creatures is omnivorous, but apparently the larvae, in addition to feeding on the rotten roots, need a good amount of nutrients that only the eggs of the Rock Drake can provide, Ceafornotensis have often been seen stealing eggs from the Nests in the depths of the Spine, in addition to being resistant to radiation, they are one of the few creatures that can fly freely in these dangerous caverns. The male has an enormous horn and is so powerful that I have seen them launch into the air some Rock Drakes that hungry seek luck with them, while the females seem to have an oily saliva in their jaws that can make their victims sleepy. “ Domesticated: Only some of the great advanced tribes of the ark that managed to breed their own Ceafornotensis realized its greatest characteristic; a special oil that they secrete from their bodies capable of improving the ammunition and firearms embedded in their mounts and named them Ballistic Beetles, they do not have as much mobility as their main enemy, the rock drake, but their ability to fly and cling to anything surface makes them a highly dangerous and very useful creature. Thanks to the special oil of the Ballistic Beetle, the ammunition fired from their saddles can be boosted, I have seen from huge Stunning Smoke Screens that help a lot when taming creatures in the ark to huge walls of fire that seem to never go out and Shots so powerful capable of damaging metal structures. INTRODUCTION Greetings survivors! I present to you the Ballistic Beatle (Ceafornotensis archratiras) a prehistoric beetle based on the Bastion Beetle. The main idea of this creature was to present it as a new Bastion Beetle proposal, but unfortunately I couldn't get in touch with the creator, so in order not to disrespect his idea, I decided to separate this creature from his, I give him credits since I'm taking the idea based on a combat beetle similar to yours with the female's cannon ability. What is the difference between the Bastion Beetle and the Ballistic Beetle? The idea with the Ballistic Beetle is to bring a new meta for ASA, many of us who were able to experience a real air battle against the Wyvern Crystal Queen within the Crystal Isles map, thanks to the Tropeognathus and its projectile launcher mount, can understand how fun and immersive what I want to present to you. The general idea is to implement the damage scaling of the Ballistic Beetle to attacks with ammunition, in ARK we already have several creatures with weapons embedded in their saddles, but none of them see their shooting damage benefit from the base damage of their respective creature. Therefore, this would be the first creature implemented in the game with this specialty. Taming Process: Ballistic Beetles cannot be tamed as adults, the only way to get hold of one of them is by stealing the larvae and feeding them until they turn into pupae. In the first place, reaching the larvae is not easy since it is always surrounded by 2 or more guardians, the recommended creature to defeat its guardians is the Rock Drake, due to the complex area where these beetles nest, the Rock Drake will not only deal a good amount of damage but will also protect you from falls caused by the males of the species. If you choose to use rifles or ranged weapons to defeat the guardians from afar, let me tell you that these creatures take 40% less damage with ballistic weapons, they can fly right at you and tear you to pieces. Once you manage to defeat the guardians, you can get the larva, but, at this stage, the larvae will only feed on rock drake eggs, the amount varies from 2 to 8 rock drake eggs depending on the level of the larva. Once transformed into a pupa, you can take them to your base and thus continue their development process, don't worry, the pupa can be picked up as if it were a structure and taken in your inventory to later place it in your base (I'm still not sure if The Cryopods will be implemented at this stage, so I decided to opt for this method to mobilize the creature) at this stage the sexual dimorphism of the Ballistic beetle will be noticed, you can also imprint it by satisfying its cravings. If you've completed all of the creature's evolutionary phases, congratulations you now have an adult Ballistic Beetle. Skills and Characteristics: The adult Ballistic Beetle is capable of flying with great efficiency and maneuverability like a Desmodus, in addition to being the second creature capable of flying inside caves, it can also rest on any surface and move along walls, but much slower than a Rock Drake. Ballistic Beetles will passively generate Bio-Oil in their inventory similar to the Basilosaurus that can replace normal oil on common use. (Essential in Aberration where it is not easy to get this resource) 40% Ballistic Damage Resistance Weight reduction of any material by 20% Reduced ammo weight by 40% Within the Mount you are immune to hallucinogenic mushroom spores and radiation. The Ballistic Beetle is the only creature capable of withstanding the surface-hugging flames of Aberration in the daytime, giving you a chance to escape the surface before dying of dehydration from the intense heat. Male: Male Ballistics have a huge horn capable of shredding the armor of any enemy and knocking creatures as large as a Reaper back a good distance, this type of beetle can carry up to 10 times its own weight. Ballistic males strike with their huge horn and every fifth hit they will perform an attack that will apply the shattered armor effect, the male's attack speed is equal to that of the Rock Drake. - Shattered Armor: Critical hit that deals 200% damage making the creature applies a knock back to species as large as a Reaper, it will also disable the armor of any enemy for 60 seconds (including armored creatures such as stegosaurus, carbonemis and golems ), against players will break their armor. Male Saddle: The male Ballistic's saddle will have a special RT20 rifle incorporated that will scale equal to the damage of the creature, it will use normal rifle ammunition that will be enhanced by the natural oil secreted from the creature (this is not a new item, the ammunition is simply placed from the beetle's inventory to charge it up), as well as melee damage, every fifth shot will deal 220% equal damage with 100% armor penetration to any type of creature (this includes armored creatures like stegosaurus , Carbonemys and Golems), the rate of fire is 1 second more delayed than that of a regular Rifle and can be performed while flying. Attacks and Controls: Gored Left Click · • The Ballistic Beetle Strikes the target for 50 damage every fifth hit will apply "shattered armor" Climb Right Click · • Activates the ability to climb walls Fly/Landing Space · • Pressing once while on the ground activates Fly. · • When pressed close to a surface the Ballistic will land, if not used on a flat surface Climb will be activated automatically. Ballistic Mode ON/OFF Left Ctrl · • Ballistic mode is activated by changing the sight to the RT20 rifle scope on the saddle. · • It is activated and deactivated with the same key. · • It can be activated both on the ground and while flying. Fliying Controls C/ X · • While flying the C key will be used to fly up. · • While flying the X key will be used to Descend. SHOT (In Ballistic Mode ON) Left Click · • The Ballistic Beetle fires the RT20 rifle on the saddle towards the enemy for 50 damage. · • Every fifth shot will apply a Critical Shot that will apply 100% armor penetration to the target and do 110 damage. Female: Unlike the male, the female Ballistic does not have a huge horn, but her jaws are larger and she has a special poison that applies the effect of “Ceafornotensis Venom”. - Ceafornotensis Venom: For each hit, 1 stack of the effect will be added to the enemy, this causes a 10% movement and attack speed reduction in its victim (maximum 30%) and drains 1.5% of maximum life every 6 seconds per stack (max 4.5%), can stack up to 3 times and takes 7 seconds to despawn. Female Saddle: The female Ballistic is equipped with a modified MK47 grenade launcher with a barrel extension feature for more power. This is a semi-automatic grenade launcher unlike the original, since it has the modification that enhances its shot. 2 types of new items are added that would be the ammunition for this creature. Narcotic Grenade: 1 grenade + 15 narcotics + 50 gunpowder Penetrating Projectile: 1 rpg missile + 100 gunpowder The modified MK47 of the Female Ballistic will have 3 different types of Ammo: - Shot of common grenades powered by the oil of the Ballistic Beetle, they apply 40% of the damage of the creature with a radius of 1.5 meters of area explosion. - Narcotic Grenades that when they explode leave a cloud of smoke with a radius of 3 meters, each one lasts 60 seconds until it dissipates and any creature or survivor inside will be gradually affected by unconsciousness, the more damage the creature has, the greater the amount of smoke-induced unconsciousness, In addition, any player or creature within the narcotic gas cloud will lose food faster, including sleeping creatures. - Penetrating Projectile: Unlike the other 2 grenade projectiles that can be fired from the air, to be able to use this type of projectile the Ballistic must be positioned on a surface either on the ground or on some completely immobile surface, it will go into "siege mode" . causing the modified MK47's barrel to extend allowing the shell to be fired. This projectile will have a longer distance unlike the other shots and will do piercing damage to armored creatures, metal structures and will damage tek structures (it can be intercepted with any type of turret), it can also be used to tame Astrocethus, Fasolasuchus and Rock Golems, the weapon's damage is equal to 150% of the Ballistic Beetle's damage and will have a 6 second cooldown per shot. As an additional detail, the effect of the smoke cloud left by the Narcotic Grenade can be affected by the firing of the common grenade applying an instantaneous combustion of the narcotic cloud, as a result a fire barrier is created that lasts 60 seconds until it is extinguished and that applies constant burn to any creature or survivor within it (can also damage stone structures). Attacks and Controls: Bite Left click · • The Ballistic Beetle Bite the target for 50 damage every hit will apply “Ceafornotensis Venom” Climb Right Click · • Activates the ability to climb walls Fly/Landing Space · • Pressing once while on the ground activates flight. · • When pressed close to a surface the Ballistic will land, if not used on a flat surface Climb will be activated automatically. Ballistic Mode ON/OFF Left Ctrl · • Ballistic mode is activated by changing the sight to the Mk47 sight on the saddle. · • It is activated and deactivated with the same key. · • Can be activated both on the ground and while flying except for Siege mode which will only activate while on a surface. Fliying Controls C/ X · • While flying the C key will be used to fly up. · • While flying the X key will be used to Descend. SHOT (In Ballistic Mode ON) Left Click · • Normal Shot: The Ballistic Beetle fires the modified MK47 grenade launcher on the saddle towards the enemy for 20 damage. · • Narcotic Shot: Fires a Narcotic Grenade that leaves a Numbing Cloud in a 3 meter radius and dissipates after 60 seconds. · • Penetrating Bullet: The Ballistic Beetle fires a powerful penetrating bullet that applies 100% armor penetration for 75 damage. Ammo Change (In Ballistic Mode ON) Q · • Changes the type of Ammo of the Ballistic Beettle Overview Let's start by analyzing the proposal and explaining some details, the main problem with the idea is that many probably fear that this creature might be abused when used, but there is no need to worry, let's give an example: - If a Rex at the top of mutations and all its points invested in damage can hit a boss between 4000 - 5000 per bite. The Ballistic Beetle should not exceed 3500 – 4500 damage, remember that unlike the rex, the beetle will use ammunition that IS NOT INFINITE, also its melee attack will not be as fast as a rex. - Regarding the PVP, the damage of the shots would have to be reduced to 60% towards players so as not to abuse their damage scaling ability, we also have to take into account that the Ballistic, like any creature that can be raised and gain mutations in ARK, it will take a long time to get its maximum stats, besides raising this Beetle will not be as easy as raising a rex, you will need to previously have many rock drake eggs to only breed 1 of them of a good level, remember that the more level the larva has, it will ask for more rock drake eggs until it becomes a pupa, I thought of this idea precisely to avoid the abuse of parenting in the creature. - One of the most important points to deal with here; It is the theme of FLYING IN ABERRATION, unlike other maps, we have to accept that Aberration, in addition to being an incredible map both in soundtrack and environment, is very rarely used as a main base, except for knowledgeable tribes that take advantage of the large amounts of metal and materials unique to the area such as colored gems, elemental ores and gas balls, if you ask any average ARK player, which map would they choose to make a main base on, very few of them will tell you what ABERRATION, one of the main reasons besides the difficulty of the map, is that you can't use flying creatures here, other people just can't master the rock drake's glide and are overwhelmed by it, the Ballistic is designed to be a purely creature As of Late Game, no player will be able to get a Ballistic without first having a rock drake, even if he managed to get one, the flight speed wouldn't be able to compare to the mobility of a rock drake in this Ark, but it would be giving those players who don't They are capable of dominating a rock drake well, the opportunity to move more calmly around the map, giving them the option of enjoying it more. - I apologize for the amount of text, but I wanted to make the abilities and my idea with the creature clear, keep in mind that both the male and the female have different abilities, so they are practically 2 new creatures for the map if it arrives to go out if elected. if anyone can contribute with a drawing for the dossier, everything is welcome.
  11. Introduction: Greetings, survivors! I introduce to you the skyscraping sauropod; the Dreadnoughtus! The foundational ideas and selling points for this dinosaur include: Role as a late game juggernaut with heavy artillery Two taming methods; one passive and one violent Customizable saddle with turrets, cannons, and ballistas The ability to vomit cannonballs covered in stomach acid Damage and defense buff against other large creatures I personally think this concept for Dreadnoughtus would work well in the game, as a massive siege weapon that can tear through just about anything in its path. It would be one of the most powerful creatures a tribe could have except for the Titanosaurus and Titans themselves, tying with the Giga and Carcha in strength. With the idea I have in mind, it would also be one of the more immersive creatures with a few of its mechanics. On Ragnarok, it's saddle could potentially be inspired by Viking Ships. Dossier Data Common Name: Dreadnoughtus Species: Dreadnoughtus maximus Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Territorial Wild: “Dreadnoughtus maximus is the undisputed ruler of this island. It towers over everything except for the very titans themselves, and its presence can be felt from afar. Like any royalty, I’d say they feel entitled to everything. While they pay no mind to those beneath them, they bully and harass other large creatures that they view as rivals and threats, including others of their kind! They become more powerful when enraged by enemies, and when more confident with herdmates.” Domesticated: “I’ve noticed that each individual has a unique daily routine. The tribe I spoke with that owns one claimed they assisted it in its activities to gain its trust, so take that for what you will. Said tribe also created a PHENOMENAL saddle that provides full protection for the primary rider, and can be customized with heavy artillery to one’s content. It seems like something straight out of the viking age! One word of caution, though. Kings like to be pampered, and Dreadnoughtus are no different. If their needs aren’t met and are neglected by their masters, they may go feral again and launch a lethal temper tantrum. Talk about a big spoiled brat!” Wild: The Dreadnoughtus is a rare find on Ragnarok, sharing its spawn points with Titanosaurus. Unlike the Titanosaur, however, it is quite territorial and will attack creatures of a given size on sight. Creatures the size of or larger than a Rex will attract its attention and grant the Dreadnoughtus a buff similar to the Triceratops’ rivalry, though extending to large herbivores as well. Dreadnoughtus will even fight each other in battles, losers remaining as underlings within whatever herd is forming. This enraged state is visible with the inflation of its neck sacs. They generally pay no mind to survivors and their tames unless they surpass the size threshold. Taming Process: Dreadnoughtus have TWO taming methods; one for first timers, another for those that already have a Dreadnoughtus for themselves. Non-Violent Taming: The Dreadnoughtus is a massive animal that is incredibly high maintenance. Violent Taming: A tamed Dreadnoughtus is required for this method. Your tamed Dreadnoughtus must challenge a wild individual with a roar, engaging in a fight. Dealing high enough damage will force the wild Dreadnoughtus to back down and join your herd. Tamed: Congratulations! You’ve successfully tamed a Dreadnoughtus! This titanic sauropod’s abilities lend themselves well to the many aspects of life on Ragnarok. Actions: Primary Attack (, , ): Looking Straight, Left, or Right: A long and wide neck sweep that deals high damage and high knockback. Looking Down: A fast stomp attack that deals high damage but has little knockback. Looking Up: A fast upward neck sweep that deals little damage but knocks aerial targets far. Secondary Attack (, , ): Cannonballs are used as ammo for this attack. The Dreadnoughtus vomits out one of the cannonballs in its stomach, with the ball drenched in stomach acid. The more the attack is charged, the faster the shot is fired and the more damage is dealt. However, this attack also drains the Food stat to use. Roar (C, , ): A bellowing roar that causes the Dreadnoughtus’ neck sacs to inflate. Use this to engage in duels with wild Dreadnoughtus. If used by the highest level individual in a herd, they will gain the Pack Leader status effect for 120 seconds before going on cooldown for another 120. Tertiary Attack (Space, , ): The front of the Dreadnoughtus’ saddle has a large drill-like spear mounted on the chest that can fire out like a harpoon. Passive Abilities: Giantslayer: Dreadnoughtus gain a damage and defense buff in the presence of the following creatures: Astrocetus, Brontosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus, Diplodocus, Giganotosaurus, Paraceratherium, Quetzal, Reaper (King and Queen), Rex, Rock Golem, Rhyniognatha, Spino, Titanosaur, Magmasaur, Megachelon, Wyvern (all types) All Bosses (only Titans matter except for maybe SOTF since you can’t take them into arenas) ARK Additions: Acrocanthosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Deinosuchus, Deinotherium Gathering: Berries and fiber are gathered fairly decently. Wood and minerals are what it is more proficient at, however. It would be the best option in the game if it weren’t for its massive size preventing it from entering many areas. Marine Traversal: Dreadnoughtus can turn into a literal dreadnought. It swims better than most creatures of its size, with many of its attacks and weapons intact. Like an Andrewsarchus, it can also sink to the ocean floor and walk along. A decently high oxygen stat allows them to sit below water for a long period of time. Heavy Artillery Saddle: The saddle of a Dreadnoughtus is unique due to its sheer customizability. There are a total of 7 equipment slots in the saddle. Turrets, ballistas, or cannons can be equipped onto the saddle. Cannons and ballistas are controlled manually, while turrets require gasoline in the dinosaur’s inventory to help fuel the saddle’s personal generator. 4 siege weapons on the neck, 2 on the shoulders, and 1 on the rump. Giving it what it wants manually from time to time will keep its physical health up, increasing Health & Stamina Regeneration. If left ignored, the sauropod’s health will deteriorate, and the mentioned stats will be reduced. Dreadnoughtus will actively become hostile towards you if their needs aren’t met, and can potentially spell the end for your tribe if you’re not cautious and attentive. Alpha Dreadnoughtus will even turn properly treated individuals on their masters as well. Don’t think about locking them in a cryopod either, as even within containment, they are still aware of your neglect. Utility & Scenarios: PvE: Dreadnoughtus find themselves as great resource gatherers and bodyguard when traversing across Ragnarok. Their swimming ability allows them to navigate across Ragnarok's oceans, and allow for resource collection at the sea floor. Their size is just about as big of a strength as it is a weakness, since it is a large target and has a hard time fighting in more claustrophobic spaces. The location of a base like a rathole doesn’t lend itself well to Dreadnoughtus management, since the creature needs a large space if it is going to be outside of a cryopod. Conclusion: At first glance, Dreadnoughtus might seem a little overpowered. It has a lot going for it as a giant endgame herbivore on par with the great G and C. While it isn’t balanced out on the end of PvP, it is in PvE. Very few creatures are balanced in their strength outside of the battle itself, and the Dreadnoughtus definitely changes the playstyle many people may attempt. Overall, it is a fairly unique and absurd concept I’d love to see enter the game and act as the first dinosaur added in through the creature vote. Have fun, survivors! 12. Hello everybody I hope I'm not late to the party but here's my first creature submission ENJOY!!!! DOSSIER Common Name: Thanatosdrakon Species: Thanatosdrakon amaru Time: Upper Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild: For a long time i thought quetzalcoatlus was the largest pterosaur, until i meet this "monster", thanatosdrakon amaru also known as "Death Dragon" wich is a very fitting name, is a large pterosaur, similar in apparence to the quetz but far more bigger, agressive and "brave", this creature is able to hunt everything in his way but not only limiting to other flying creatures, Thanatosdrakon is very capable of hunting even land creatures with relative ease, i theorized that the only real threat for this apex predator are the wyverns, but that theory went down really fast after seeing a Thanatosdrakon eating the corpse of a fire wyvern. It appears that thanatosdrakon has evolved to become the definitive apex predator from the skies and to show how unfair evolution can be, these creature can mimic the elemental powers, after one one of those creatures dive right into the wyvern cave, he emerged back irradiating an intense green color and an strange cloud was surrounding his body, it's clear that he just eat a poison wyvern egg, with all these adaptations i theorize that the thanatosdrakon serves as some kind of population control for the wyverns. Domesticated: Taming one of these beasts sounds like an impossible task and after hearing how a tribe tamed one i'm 100% sure that who wants to tame one has 0% appreciation for his life, however they are a force to be reckoned with, they are extremely good battle beasts, unlike the wyverns who rely on his elemental attacks this creature doesn't need that to be considered a deadly threat, but if you want extra power you can give this beast with wyvern eggs and he will "absorb" the strength of it, making the thanatosdrakon a very versatile creature. TAMING To tame a thanatosdrakon you need a bunch of wyvern eggs (any elemen works) a bunch of parachutes, one good shield and a lot of confidence in yourself, first you need attract him to land and then throw a wyvern egg in front of him, he will get all his attention to the egg and he will proceed to eat, while he's eating you have to run to him and press E and you will have to do a rodeo minigame in the sky similar to andrewsarchus, he will kick you off but you have to use your parachute, while you are falling he will still try to eat you use your shield or have a friend to pick you with a fast flying mount, after a few tries it will be ready to ride. ABILITIES Peck: Normal attack that allow the thanatosdrakon to farm meat and do damage (Right Mouse Click). Wing Beat and Barrel Roll: If you are in land this attack is a wing beat that push and stun dinos away from you but if you do it while flying this attack is a barrel roll that stuns only flying creatures sending them to land (Left Mouse Click). Grab: Thanatosdrakon is capable of carrying the same type of creatures that a quetz can (CTRL + Left Mouse Click). Mimic: The main ability thanatosdrakon has is being able to mimic up to 2 elemental powers from the wyvern's (fire, electric, poison and ice) to activate this ability you need to feed him an egg and he will gain the ability of that specific egg, obviously he will not get only a fire breath or lighting breath like the wyverns, he will get his own different attacks. Fire egg: He gains the ability to clap his wings to create a fire explosion similar to the phoenix. Lightning egg: He gains the ability to do a barrel roll in a straight line doing damage to anything close and obviously to what it direct hits. Poison egg: He gains the ability to create a cloud surrounding him that deals dps for a period of time. Ice egg: He gains a temporary ice armor that decrease damage taken by 30% and reduce his speed by 15% (does not work on any fire related attacks). *To use any of these attacks you need to press C and if you want to switch between elements you only need to click CTRL + C* Skylord: Thanatosdrakon has a passive ability called "skylord" which increase the damage to any flying creature in a 20% Diving Swipe: It also has the ability to dive however it does not have a final explosion when he hits land and it does not increase the speed if you look up like the griffin or snow owl, however you can still do extra damage if you hit while diving. Royal Eater: Being the king of the skies requires the best kind of food, so thanatosdrakon is a good prime meat farmer. Roar: Just a cosmetic roar to look badass while flying (CTRL).
  13. Ragnaroks volcano area is dying for something to freshen it up: Ragnaroks volcanos are boring and uninteresting, with the only reason to go even near the area is because of the wyvern trench. Ragnaroks volcano area is famous for its looks and its once in a blue moon erupting volcano, but there isn't anything besides looks and a few valuable resources that draws players into that area. it barely has any interesting creatures there, with there being only insects and golums, but what if we they changed that? What if ARK introduced a creature that could change how we view Ragnaroks volcano forever... Introducing the Isisaurus! Abilities: Wyverns ultimate nightmare: Because the Isisaurus lives near wyverns, one of ARK's most formidable predators, it should be equipped to deal with them. While a massive herbivore thats stuck on the ground, Isisaurus has grown around its envoirement and can handle whatever the volcanic death zone can throw at it. Fire, poisonous air, and electricity are barely enough to give the titan a scratch. If a wyvern or any other flying predator dares to get close to it, the sauropod has dozens of large spikes on its neck, back, and tail that can land a heavy blow to the winged giant, causing bleed and grounding it, leaving it open for the Isisaurus to get more up close and personal.Intense body heat: With the animals adaptation to intensely heated areas, the Isisaurus has evolved to have incredible body heat, which allows it to live in volcanic conditions. But thats not the only thing strong body heat brings to the Isisaurus! The creature's internal fire is so powerful that smaller nearby predators and insects (carnos, raptors, and mantis spiders) are put off by it and choose to flee the area, which can significantly help tribes with a small base. The sauropod's heat also helps survivors who live in colder environments. Players who choose to have an isisaurus in their freezing base will be awarded with large surrounding warmth for their entire base, which removes the fear of hypotherima while also insulating eggs that need warmth to hatch! Powerful stomp and dust cloud: With Isisaurus massive size, it has the ability to hind up its legs and deliver a powerful stomp that inflicts heavy damage to anyone close enough to it. Not only that, because of the strong stomp, a large cloud of dust is created as a result, which blinds and suffocates any creature that's overshadowed by it. Can walk on lava: The Isisaurus has morphed into the perfect organism that can survive any volcanic environment; thus, it has no fear of lava! While prolonged exposure to it will do drastic damage to the creature, the isisaurus can handle the scorching flames of lava for long periods of time with no real concern, allowing it to move around in areas that no other creature could with its size. Health and speed boost when around an erupting volcano: Even for an animal like Isisaurus, it is weary of the dangers of an erupting volcano. The animal is so weary of them that, when one arrives, it hardens its skin for any incoming flying debris and also moves faster to get away from any threat caused by the volcano. This biological mechanism brings a lot of opportunities for players, its hardened skin makes it tougher to kill, and its faster speed makes it easier to cover large distances with such a large specimen Ultimate charchole gatherer: Ragnarok's volcanic area has a lot of charred-up trees. If a survivor is in need of charchole for gunpowder, then they can use the isisaurus to gather an absurd amount of charchole in the surrounding area. Tailwhip bleed attack: Since the isisaurus has a extremely spikey tail, any foolish creature to attack it from behind will recieve a tailwhip that causes immense bleed. In the wild and taming method: In the wild, isisaurus tend to be very close to one another, to keep each other company. This also means that they have their young very close to them and are extremely aggressive to any animal that gets even slightly close to their offspring. Because the animal is so powerful and difficult to take down.. the only way to tame it, is to steal its babies and raise them yourself. This creates an interesting new way to tame an animal. You can't just steal their eggs, you have to steal their young, and that creates a host of new challenges, like the fact you can't pick up the animal with the flyer or the fact it's a large baby that's slow and difficult to bring back to base. I hope you all find this entry interesting and if anyone has any more ideas for this creature, please let me know and I'll add them to the post!
