Is quantitant by passively feeding blood (like a desmodus) These guys can harvest blood,oil and Other liquids Very well. The first attack of three times damage That's their sharp Probuscus enters the skin of there prey Why also inflicting bleed when enough blood stored in their abdomen It's bright colors allow for intimidation As well as A sort of healent For you and your other tames The more similer to a tapejara The flying pest can latch on the wall and ceilings And being able to climb on Most vertical surfaces
  2. Wild : The shantung is an aggressive dinosaur, spawning in the sunken forest, sanctuary, and very rarely in the wasteland around those areas Look : A large hadrosaur with a similar look to the iguanodon, unlike the shantungosauruses of prehistory, this species appear to have osteoderms along there sides and back, giving a small damage reduction and immunity to torpor on its sides. Taming : To tame a shantung of your own, you must shoot it in the side with a rocket or two, then fill its softer belly with tranq darts until it either knocks out, or gets up, requiring to be knocked over again. In terms of food, it is the same as other herbivores, with the preferred kibble being exceptional. Its torpor drains at a medium rate and taming a bit slower than a rex Saddle : This is where the shantung gets unique, having three different types of saddles, being wooden, metal, and tek, wood being the worst, and tek being the best, 2 player seating. The unique part about the saddles however, is that you can attach most if not all types of turrets onto the saddles, one turret at a time of course, the different saddles determine what ammo is needed, if a third player can ride, if it is automated, and the type of attack the turret has. any turrets that are normally effected by the ammo box are also effected while strapped to the shantungosaurus. Stats : Amazing health and health scaling, decent melee damage and melee damage scaling, high weight and weight scaling, low 02 and 02 scaling, mediocre stamina and stamina scaling, slow movement speed, drag weight : 600. 5% damage reduction on body, 10% ballistic and explosive damage of body. Attacks : Headbutt, left click, the shant does a headbutt forward, knocking back smaller dinos and dealing 30 base damage. Stomp, right click, the Shant stomps the foot in the cameras direction and dealing a base damage of 70. Super stomp, X, the shant stands on its hind legs and then slams its front limbs into the ground, having a minute long cooldown and dealing a base damage of 300 (probably not balanced). Aesthetic roar, ctrl, the shant stands on its hind legs and roars to the sky, pearly aesthetic with no effect. This is probably not balanced and would most likely need to be changed if in the game. Only internet images as I sadly can't draw well.

Latzelia Primordialis - The Living Artillery Cannon So we all know and love (hate) the acid spitting, armor destroying millipede Arthropleura, but now prepare for the new idea of a massive centipede, with the ability to lob exploding acid blobs of many varieties, the Latzelia Primordialis. So the basic idea for this creature submission would be a rather large, lets say around Basilisk sized centipede that resembles a house centipede, just way bigger. Now for the abilities i have thought for this creature: Torpor inducing bite ála Arthropleura Wall climbing, this creature would be the first platform saddled creature to be able to climb walls and ceilings. Though it would be rather slow climber all things considered and the platform isn´t too big. Skipping on water surfaces, similar to the Rhyniognatha or the Bloodstalker, only slower. Faster with the tek saddle equipped, could use the same jet boosts as with the hovering ability (read below). Spitting exploding acid globules, think Arthropleura but bigger in scale and with added AoE, they could use a variety of different ammunition. They also have a gas attack that has different properties depending on the ammunition used. They would have an eerie luminescent glow to their legs and abdomen, changing color based on what they are eating or using as ammunition. If you hade more than one type of ammunition in it´s inventory, you would be able to change them in a command wheel on the go. Oil - Black color: Spit explodes in to oil slicks and gas attack blinds and slows enemies. Low damage. Healing Brew - Red color: Spit explodes in to regenerating area that lingers for a moment, gas attack becomes a healing AoE similar to Daeodon. Deals no damage. Propellant - Orange color: Spit explodes in to sticky flames. Gas attack bursts out flaming gas around it self. Low initial damage, sets things ablaze. They are adept climbers and can be used as beasts of burden, but the real power resides in their ability to chuck big globs of acid far away, preferrably at an opposing tribe, enhanced by whatever they have in their stomachs. I have even heard of some more technologically advanced tribes mounting giant cannons on the backs of these creatures. To get one of these insects to bend to your will is no easy task though. NATURE After years of evolution and being exposed to elements volatile abilities, has caused it to fuse to the Deinocheirus gigantic arms, thus making element dust one of its main nutrients. But also giving it more abilities. Mainly the ability to reshape its arms into things it can use depending on the situation. The Deinocheirus is a neutral creature, and will only attack if threatened. They roam the watery trenches and pools of the sanctuary, and in the outskirts of the wasteland, looking for food and element dust in the water and also Tek/corrupted creatures to feast on their element. If you try to observe it with a scout, then the Deinocheirus will become aggravated, and try to eat it and consume the element inside. Abilities Passive It has increased element dust gathering from TEK creatures. (Like defense units, enforcers, scouts, and TEK creatures like a TEK parasaur) Increased element gains from element veins COLOSSAL extra damage against corrupted creatures It can turn around on the spot, like a Sarco or Beelzebufo Deals more damage to MEKs, which gives it a role in pvp as well. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Element mode This is a state which the Deinocheirus can enter to gain access to its core abilities, this will cost element dust, and then it will slowly drain the dust from your inventory over time. In this state your normal attacks will have unique animations and do slightly more damage and range, and deal increased knockback. Your arms will become more flexible almost (and a lot of almost, absolutely not as serious as in the video) like the Kos parasite from Bloodborne Kos Parasite Moveset. Extended Ground slam (Element mode) The Deinocheirus can grow its arms for extended reach and damage, which will damage a large area in front of you. This can, as an example, be used to damage a swarm of corrupted creatures in front of you, or catch a creature running away from you. This attack is used by holding and releasing the button, the range of the slam depends on how long you press it. In addition you can press the button once to do a normal slam which will affect an area around the Deinocheirus Super Jump (Element mode) Increase the size of your arms that you place onto the ground and charge a gigantic leap vertically into the air. This can be used as an escape or to traverse the barren wasteland of extinction. Also when you leave the ground, the enemies below will be stunned, much like a snow owl divebomb. In addition, you can use the the ground slam, which will have more AOE when used after the jump. This ability has a short cooldown, and you can charge it even when you’re attacked. Defense roar (can be activated during both modes) Perform an extremely mighty roar (loud and epic), which will give increased defense to nearby tames, and startle attackers, causing them to stop attacking your tames for a short period. Works very well when using other creatures with you during OSD and Element nodes. This ability has a cooldown. Glide (Element mode) The Deinocheirus have finally achieved its dream to fly, now that its “little chicken” wings are made from element. When you’re in the air you can extend and grow your wings to glide gracefully across the air. Similar to a parachute. This can be used for travel, and also to escape. Element Guard (Element mode) Transform the arms in to a forward facing shield which gives damage negation. This can be used if you’re taking excessive damage. You can also attack in this state if you want to push enemies away from a location and temporarily stun them (I intend that this is a pretty large area, so it is more useful and does not just push away one target). This is perfect when a powerful creature is attacking an orbital supply drop or element node and you don't want it to break. Inspired by Dark souls 3 Epic Giant door shield. Uppercut grab (Element mode) Thrust your claws in the air and grab a creature or player above you and slam them to the ground. which gives the Deinocheirus a way to deal with creatures or players in the air. This will be perfect for the corrupted pteranodons and the corrupted wyverns in orbital supply drops and element nodes, especially when you cant really hit them, then you can grab them instead and throw them in front of you, giving you a moment to damage it. Corrupted burst Consume a corrupted heart to gain a 25 second boost of increased damage, attack speed, and range. Your arms will grow to about 3x larger, and the blue veins will turn purple. In this state you cant enter or leave the element mode, depending on which state you activated this in. Almost like going super saiyan. But after 25 seconds you will have a duration of exhaustion, which will leave you vulnerable to attacks. This ability is used to get out of tight situations, like when you’re about to die, and you need to kill everything around you. A very high risk high reward ability. This ability will have a cooldown. Almost like this TAMING The player will first need to find a Deinocheirus, which they will in the trench in the sanctuary, or in the outskirts of the sanctuary, right between the border of the wasteland. First step you need to do is cover yourself in element dust. Which you do by placing the element dust in your hotbar and “equip it”. This will cover you in element dust, and it will also make the Deinocheirus smell and notice you. Scary right? Once it has noticed you, it will start smelling you. BUT, if you move during this process, its gonna think you’re a Tek creature or a corrupted creature, and it will see you as hostile, and start attacking. Therefore its important to stand still. Once it has smelled you it will take a hold of you and start absorbing the element from your inventory (You will need a lot, especially for high level ones). Make sure you have brought enough element though. Because if you run out of element dust, shards or pure element. Then it will throw you away, and get angry at you, lower taming effectiveness. Element dust will give the lowest amount of taming percentage, following with element shards, and then pure element, which will give the most amount of taming percentage. You will also need to refresh the element dust coating on your character, because if it would run out, the Deinocheirus will see you as hostile. There will be a meter inthe bottom right corner of your screen which shows how much there is left of your coating, giving the taming process a little bit more engagement If you succeed in coating yourself and have enough element, the Deinocheirus will be yours, your very own corrupted creature slaying machine. Questions What happens if i run out element dust while im in element mode? You will return to the standard “mode”, BUT only after a short delay. This will make it more comfortable, especially if you’re in the air, then you will be able to land before you leave element mode. My Giga or Carch does more damage than the Deinocheirus, isn't it useless for OSD’s and element nodes? No, even though your Giga or Carch might do more damage, the Deinocheirus will be able to push away and stun creatures and also give defensive buffs. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, you will be able to harvest more element from element nodes, there are no other creatures that can do this. You will be able to harvest the element with the Deinocheirus in its standard state. Isn't this extremely unrealistic? Both yes and no. BUT there are many other creatures that are unrealistic such as the Amargasaurus, which can shoot hot and cold spikes out of its neck… like what…? Also in a world with mysterious substances such as element, that literally corrupts and changes creatures, such as the Managarmr or Snow owl. Then why cant the element have changed this creatures abilities? I believe this just fits the aesthetic of the map more. This wouldn't have worked for, lets say, the island. There are no other element afflicted creatures. Can I run out of stamina in corrupted burst or element mode? In corrupt burst mode you will not run out of stamina during its duration, only when the 25 second buff runs out, after that you will get an exhaustion debuff, which will be a subtle decrease to stamina recovery, until the stamina bar is full. In element mode you can run out of stamina like any other creature. Doesn't this sound very overpowered? The Deinocheirus is meant to be a powerful creature, but it also has its drawbacks. First of all it is supposed to be be slow. Second of all, the creature “cost” element dust to use its “cool” abilities. Otherwise it would be completely broken, not everything cool can be free Why it should be added to Extinction A horrible 3D model and render by me 😀 The Deinocheirus will not only bring more life to Extinction, but it will also give players another option to destroy the corrupted dangers of the barren wasteland. The Deinocheirus will usher the players of Extinction in more ways to defend yourself, your base and your creatures, with its guarding abilities, increased knockback and its ability to stop attackers from attacking your tames. This, combined with its ability to harvest element from element nodes will benefit both PVP, and PVE. Doesn't the defending part satisfy you, then the amazing corrupted burst mode will, with its mighty power you will be able to destroy anything that might stand in your path. Deinocheirus is considered by the survivors to be contrary to the rex and spino, since unlike these two, it has neutral behavior and is even protective of herbivorous animals. Latzelia Primordialis - The Living Artillery Cannon So we all know and love (hate) the acid spitting, armor destroying millipede Arthropleura, but now prepare for the new idea of a massive centipede, with the ability to lob exploding acid blobs of many varieties, the Latzelia Primordialis. So the basic idea for this creature submission would be a rather large, lets say around Basilisk sized centipede that resembles a house centipede, just way bigger. Now for the abilities i have thought for this creature: Torpor inducing bite ála Arthropleura Wall climbing, this creature would be the first platform saddled creature to be able to climb walls and ceilings. Though it would be rather slow climber all things considered and the platform isn´t too big. Skipping on water surfaces, similar to the Rhyniognatha or the Bloodstalker, only slower. Faster with the tek saddle equipped, could use the same jet boosts as with the hovering ability (read below).   8. The Hadrosaur family is a very underrated family with many knowing only of the Parasaur or iguanadon, so ive wanted to bring my own hadrosaur into the new submissions. I, like many others, have struggled to portray ideas due to lack of artistic skill that many other submissions have, and because of this many great ideas are not noticed at first, so don’t always just look at the main post, hidden gems could be hidden right below and should be considered more by the community. I love the rocky look of the titanosaur and would also like to see it on this massive beast as well, I would also like a more significant beak, the look that the Isle gave it is absolutely amazing, really hope that wildcard don’t disappoint. Shantungosaurus: The Shantungosaurus was a large hadrosaur from the late cretaceous period, it weighed around 16 metric tons reaching heights of 6 meters and reaching lengths of 16.6 meters, dwarfing most therapods like the T-rex, and even some sauropods, their size isn’t one to be taken lightly. Most creatures of its time would not dare touch the shant as they stood no chance to it immense size and weight, they were also very fast for their size. In the wild: The Shant can be seen towering over the large Jungles of the centre, surrounded by luscious greenery and animals. Its immense size wards off most predators creating a somewhat safe haven for the more docile creatures around, in return they protect the Shant in the case of any threats. When it sees a carnivore around which could endanger its followers, the Shant receives a rivalry buff similar to the trike. When provoked, the followers will all begin to attack to protect the Shant, this also includes flyers that can get you from the air. Taming: To tame, you must first kill all of the surrounding dinos, giving clear access to the Shant itself however most projectiles will not affect the giant beast, in this case the ballista turret works best, in it a tranq spear bolt. Once the Shant begins taking damage, it will attack back, standing on its hind legs delivering super damaging stomps, during which, docile creates who wander into the battle will join the Shant and attack. Its always best to trap the Shant before taming as once it gets high on torpor it will run away , making it harder to shoot with the ballista, once knocked out it will not need food to tame, just equip a saddle, similar to the titanosaur. Domesticated: The Shant is an enormous beast rivalling the size of even the giga! With its immense size it harbors a great amount of health and weight also having a 15% overall damage reduction and 40% against projectiles. Its massive tail is used to throw enemies, how far they are thrown is dependant on their drag weight where the less drag weight they have the further they are thrown. The Shant has a roar that buffs all tamed dinos attack and defence slightly with a big bonus to herbivores. The Shant has 2 modes or stances, similar to the TLC spino, with different attacks, Quadruped stance and Biped stance. The quadruped stance is its default stance withal 4 legs on the ground and gains the ability to charge. The Biped stance reduces the speed of the dino but increases damage output and attack efficiency i.e., tail swipe throws further , it also gains the Heavy Stomp ability. Attacks Change stance= Z Quadruped stance: 1) Left click = Headbutt: a standard attack that does decent damage and slight knockback. Collects thatch and berries. 2) Right click = Tail swipe: a powerful attack that knocks its opponents far (based on drag weight) 3) Hold Right click = Charge: a short burst of speed that would charge toward a target stunning the target on impact, (with delay to separate stomp and charge) 4) C = roar: a loud bellowing call that gives all nearby tamed dinos a defence buff with a bonus to herbivores 5) X = stomp: a slightly heavier hitting attack that has no knockback. Collects wood and berries in a radius around the dino. Bipedal stance: (+ damage, - speed) 1) Left click = Claw swipe: a standard attack that does good damage with no knockback. Collects thatch and berries. 2) Right click = Tail swipe: a powerful attack that knocks its opponents far (based on drag weight) 3) C = roar: a loud bellowing call that gives all nearby tamed dinos a defence buff with a bonus to herbivores 4) X = Heavy stomp: an extremely powerful attack that breaks opponents’ bones and stuns for a short period of time, it sets the dino back to quadruped stance and has a large cooldown,

So we all know and love (hate) the acid spitting, armor destroying millipede Arthropleura, but now prepare for the new idea of a massive centipede, with two mounted turrets of your choice and the ability to lob exploding acid blobs as the rider, the Latzelia primordialis. So the basic idea for this creature submission would be a rather large, lets say around Basilisk sized centipede that resembles a house centipede, just way bigger. Bit like the Rhyniognatha this creature would be scaled up from its real life counter part, they would live in deeper in the red crystal biomes in Aberration around where you would face Reaper Queens. Now for the abilities i have thought for this creature: Maybe a torpor inducing bite ála Arthropleura Wall climbing (duh its Aberration) Spitting exploding acid globules, think Arthropleura but bigger in scale and with a bit of added AoE (maybe uses things like organic polymer or spoiled meat as ammunition? or maybe they could use the many different mushrooms as ammunition for different effects?) Triple seater saddle (sort of) so the saddle would have obviously the rider, which would be mounted towards the head of the creature, than you have a middle segment and the back segment or tail segment which every you prefer. The middle and tail segments would have slots for them in the creatures inventory when saddled, and would allow you to insert any of the Arks many different mountable turret types on them, making the creature a walking, climbing triple turret of terror. Maybe you have two catapults, maybe a minigun and a rocket turret? The choice is yours to make. As for the stats i would say its on the tankier side, with a good amount of weight for carrying all the ammunition needed for the added turrets, not too fast though. Taming could be something similar to the Rhyniognatha, where you´d have to find the males and harvest the pheromones, get the females to impregnate a dino and wait for it to go pop. Lastly i would like to say that i am by no means an artist and i am not asking anyone, but if you feel like it, feel free to post a prototype dossier here, along with any suggestions of your own.   11. Looking somewhat like your everyday Tree Frog like in the drawing at the very bottom! This large frog can eat a raptor whole! Having trouble getting across those rivers that would kill you? Well not a problem if you have this creature! Being able to jump 30 times its height it can easily clear those rivers for you! Low on stamina? Just swim across the river! The big frog can not be poisoned due to little creatures that live on its skin! They soak up the poison and feed off of it as that is just what they eat! The frog can swim as deep as it wants in any body of water even if it is those deadly rivers! Moving on to its next ability is being able to have at least 3 riders at once! As this helps in combat and if your trying to tame something big! Another ability is if it gets below half health it will start to give of deadly particles around the target, either knocking them unconscious or killing them. Taming them is not simple as they have to be on land and nesting, yup! This creature will breed and then soon have little tadpoles in water. When 5 minutes old the tadpoles will venture on land, Now there is your chance to tame one of those fellow frogs. Make sure you have a creature you want to kill and make sure it is small like as in dodo size. Then throw or tell the creature to go and stand near the tadpoles as they will be in one big group. They will then eat it and soon one or two will be tamed. Once out of baby/tadpole stage they will grow their legs and look like the adults but mini!
  12. Trigonotarbid Palaeocharinus tryantus A familiar face from SE's submissions General Information Back again for a second time, this time on a more fitting map, the massive Trigonotarbid is here! Now coming in with bioluminescent highlights around its legs and spikes, most Trigos can be found in the Blue Zone, but higher level ones can be found on the surface. Though its size is a bit larger than that of a typical spider, it won't be easy to spot as it blends in with the environment of the Blue Zone. Since these creatures are so large and don't hunt, they can be typically found asleep. When they are asleep though, their bioluminescence goes away. I highly recommend not looking for one when you, or your mount, are low health, as wild Trigos might see you as their next meal attack you. Wild Trigos on the surface will attack you regardless if you're low health or not, they can't be choosy with their next meal up there. Taming These tanky beasts are completely immune to tranqs and tranq creatures, so other methods must be used. Like other arachnids, Trigos are scavenging creatures, meaning they wander around and eat corpses they find. You can use corpses to tame them, but it won't be a quick tame as Trigos have massive appetites! Trigos do find certain deadly creatures tastier than others though. Tamed When you finally tame one, a Trigo is a very useful creature for resource collection in the caves of Aberration. They spoiled meat and regular meat, but regular meat will spoil faster in their inventory. Their relatively cheap saddle acts as a mortar and pestle and platform saddle thanks to the Trigo's large and quite flat abdomen. Trigos are also able to collect various resources; they can collect wood, stone, crystal, all gems, fungal wood (didn't draw), and meat. Trigos offer a large weight reduction on the resources mentioned. Passive Abilities Trigonotarbids, as mentioned before, have weight reductions on the resources they can harvest, but also have other useful abilities. Their bulky form and color can often disguise them as rocks which hides them from being noticed by creatures that would attack them. The rider can turn off their bioluminescence pushes this ability further, but makes Trigos more vulnerable. While eating spoiled meat, Trigonotarbids will occasionally produce Organic Polymer. Trigos can also be occasionally trimmed for molted shell, a substitute for Chitin. Trigonotarbids' shell is so durable that most, nearly all, projectiles can't even scratch it! (arrows, bullets, dilo/arthro venom, etc...)
