Latzelia Primordialis - The Living Artillery Cannon So we all know and love (hate) the acid spitting, armor destroying millipede Arthropleura, but now prepare for the new idea of a massive centipede, with the ability to lob exploding acid blobs of many varieties, the Latzelia Primordialis. So the basic idea for this creature submission would be a rather large, lets say around Basilisk sized centipede that resembles a house centipede, just way bigger. Now for the abilities i have thought for this creature: Torpor inducing bite ála Arthropleura Wall climbing, this creature would be the first platform saddled creature to be able to climb walls and ceilings. Though it would be rather slow climber all things considered and the platform isn´t too big. Skipping on water surfaces, similar to the Rhyniognatha or the Bloodstalker, only slower. Faster with the tek saddle equipped, could use the same jet boosts as with the hovering ability (read below). Spitting exploding acid globules, think Arthropleura but bigger in scale and with added AoE, they could use a variety of different ammunition. They also have a gas attack that has different properties depending on the ammunition used. They would have an eerie luminescent glow to their legs and abdomen, changing color based on what they are eating or using as ammunition. If you hade more than one type of ammunition in it´s inventory, you would be able to change them in a command wheel on the go. Oil - Black color: Spit explodes in to oil slicks and gas attack blinds and slows enemies. Low damage. Healing Brew - Red color: Spit explodes in to regenerating area that lingers for a moment, gas attack becomes a healing AoE similar to Daeodon. Deals no damage. Propellant - Orange color: Spit explodes in to sticky flames. Gas attack bursts out flaming gas around it self. Low initial damage, sets things ablaze. Narcotic - Green color: Spit explodes in to a tranquilizing AoE splash. Gas attack works a bit like the gas grenade but with larger AoE. Low damage. Stone - White color: Spits out a goop covered rock, deals concussive damage like a catapult. Can damage up to stone buildings. Medium damage and no gas attack. Ammonite bile - Lime color: Spits out ammonite bile in an explosive glob, blowing up and giving out the ammonite bile debuff in an AoE. Gas attack does the same thing but around the creature. No initial damage. Spoiled meat - Dark green color: Spits out an acidic glob that explodes, dealing high damage to armor durability like arthropleura spit except in AoE. Gas attack does the same thing but around the creature. Medium damage. Organic polymer - Cyan color: Spits out an acidic glob that explodes, dealing less damage to armor durability, but has highest damage of all the natural ammunition types. High damage. Gas attack does the same thing but around the creature, damaging everything around it. As for the stats i would say its on the tankier side, with a good amount of weight for carrying all the ammunition needed, not too fast though. There would be a small platform saddle and a tek saddle. The tek saddle bringing the living artillery to a whole new level with new ammunition types to use along with element and doubling the AoE of the gas attack. The tek saddle also enables small jets from the tips of the creatures armored legs, allowing it to hover down, slowing its fall from high places. This would come in handy when you have to reposition or escape in a pinch. When activating the tek cannon, the creature buries its tek enhanced legs in to the ground, essentially rooting it self in place, enabling the rider with a 360 degrees turning giant tek artillery cannon, similar to the M.S.C.M. for the Meks. Tek ammunition types: 10 x Metal ingots + 1 element: Orange energy color, the cannon shoots a massive slug of molten steel, dealing extremely high concussive damage and being able to damage up to Tek tier buildings. No gas attack. 10 x Propellant + 1 element: Red energy color, the cannon shoots a large fireball or slug that explodes in to a large area dealing medium damage and bursting everything around it in flames. Gas attack bursts flaming gas along with flamethrowers from the tek saddle around the creature, burning everything around it. 10 Crystal + 1 element: White energy color, the cannon shoots a railgun beam similar to the Tek Railgun, dealing higher damage than the Tek Railgun, being able to pierce walls. No gas attack. 10 Biotoxin + 1 element: Blue energy color, the cannon shoots a rather large blue shocking tranquilizer bullet, dealing high torpor damage, some health damage and dealing the Cnidaria shocking debuff. Gas attack deals medium torpor damage and shocks nearby enemies. Taming would require you to feed both the male and female with the food corresponding to the color of their abdomen and legs. The required food is the same as the colors as the ammunition they use. After the initial feeding the creature will hold still for a moment, sort of "chewing" on whatever you fed it, enabling the harvesting of materials from their behinds.   2. Gigatitan In real life gigatitan is an extinct titanopteran insect from triassic kyrgystan. It had a wingspan of up to 40 centimeters and was unable to fly, but it could glide. In ark It will be found hanging on the sides of high cliffs waiting for unsuspecting flyers to pass. When it spots one it will lift off and glide towards it grabbing it and attempting to crush its wings. This depends on the weight stat of both creatures if the weight stat is very low gigatitan will instantly crush the wings and the flyer will have to glide to the ground and will not be able to lift off where gigatitan will come to claim its prize. After it is done it will simply climb back up a cliff and wait for its next meal. However if the weight stat is similar there will be a struggle where both parties involved are able to pull each other into different directions. If the weight stat is way highter than gigatitans it will eventually have to let go. It will look like a giant locust with spikes on its legs for grabbing. Abilities wing crushing gigatitan will lock onto the wings of a flying creature glider or onto a managarmer and attempt to crush its wings. If this succeeds the target will be forced to make an emergency landing and wont be able to get back into the air for several minutes. Wing flap every 10 seconds gigatitan can flap its wings to gain a little speed and altitude. Wing flash it will reflect the sun with its wings and this works like a flashbang to anything looking into that direction. Taming gigatitan probably burrowed its eggs into plants so to get one you will have to cut down trees until you find a gigatitan larvae you will then have to feed the larvae living animals until it is big. But similarly to a reaper baby they will attack you. Also don’t forget about their protective mothers that hang on the nearby buildings. You can pick these larvae up but they will attempt to struggle by throwing spit in your face to blind you and will also knock you off direction.

I think this creature would be a great addition to extinction because in addition to farming element it can farm blood and other creatures. taming: you will have to offer your dinosaur with narcotics in inventory in order to take down such a creature for the dino to suck all the narcotics and be able to fall and thus tame giving him meat since it is his favorite food. It’s larvae can grow up to the size of a basilosaurus, making it one of the top predators of the local ecosystem. It hunts by hiding at the bottom of it’s habitats waiting for unsuspecting prey to swim over it. Once it spots it’s meal it uses it’s special lower jaw to grab the critter and devour it. It was a predator with arms similar to a mantis. In ark Gigatitan will be the size of a wyvern although a similar size to a quetzal or rhynio could also work. It will be able to climb on cliffs and use that or its jump ability to lift off. It will have the following ablities Wing flap Once airborne gigatitan can occasionally flap its wings to increase speed and altitude/ Slash with its front legs it will slash the area perfect for doing precise dive bombing damage without getting to close to the ground Wing clipper while in flight it can capture other flyers and damage their wings. This will put the flyer into a glide mode where it will be forced to the ground and temporarily disabled. Perfect for gigatitan to catch up on its prey taming to tame them you will have to hold on to them with a grappling hook and target wild flyers that the gigatitan will attack (similar to how tamed animals attack a target) in this time you need to get it to kill as many as possible before it lands which it will after not having a target for a while. Once gathered, one must be quick to hatch the eggs, for they spoil quite fast once they are separated from the leaves. To hatch the eggs they need to be deposited in crops. Once hatched, the larvaes will start consuming huge amounts of fiber until the reach the pupa phase. After some time, the insect will break free form the pupa, resulting in a beautiful moth. They are an example of sexual dimorphism, as females present more vibrant colors and are bigger than the male counterpart. DOMESTICATED Once domesticated, the silkmoth becomes unable to fly or persist outside human care. However, this insect will provide survivors with an efficient production of an unique organic silk and clay. These valuable products are different from the rest, as they can be used to craft new sets of clothing and robust brick buildings. Silk can be gathered from the female moth, while clay is produced by the male. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CLOTHING Female moths produce an unique silk that can be used to craft new victorian/gothic clothing. This new clothing can be crafted only inside the female moth inventory. The idea for this new sets is to be used as roleplaying clothing, as they don't provide much armor compared to flak sets (although provides a good temperature protection). However, one can level up an exclusive skill for the female moth: the crafting quality. This increases the clothing armor up to chitin tier. With breeding and imprinting this could change pairing it with flak tier. My idea for this new clothes is to look something similar to the Volkihar vampire armor from Skyrim or something similar to victorian fantasy clothes. BUILDING Male moths on the other hand produce an special paste similar to clay. This can be used to craft new brick structures resembling Victorian Era buildings. The new structures need to be crafted again inside the male moth inventory. In contrast to the crafting quality skill, one can improve the speed production skill allowing to gather more moth clay in faster time. My idea for this new tier is to resemble the Bloodborne building styile, allowing to craft darker and grimmer structure, with long narrow windows, carved doorways and arcs and also, using this new clay with raw metal, being able to craft new styled oil lamposts and fences.

Latzelia Primordialis - The Living Artillery Cannon So we all know and love (hate) the acid spitting, armor destroying millipede Arthropleura, but now prepare for the new idea of a massive centipede, with the ability to lob exploding acid blobs of many varieties, the Latzelia Primordialis. So the basic idea for this creature submission would be a rather large, lets say around Basilisk sized centipede that resembles a house centipede, just way bigger. Now for the abilities i have thought for this creature: Torpor inducing bite ála Arthropleura Wall climbing, this creature would be the first platform saddled creature to be able to climb walls and ceilings. Though it would be rather slow climber all things considered and the platform isn´t too big. Skipping on water surfaces, similar to the Rhyniognatha or the Bloodstalker, only slower. Faster with the tek saddle equipped, could use the same jet boosts as with the hovering ability (read below). Spitting exploding acid globules, think Arthropleura but bigger in scale and with added AoE, they could use a variety of different ammunition. They also have a gas attack that has different properties depending on the ammunition used. They would have an eerie luminescent glow to their legs and abdomen, changing color based on what they are eating or using as ammunition. If you hade more than one type of ammunition in it´s inventory, you would be able to change them in a command wheel on the go. Oil - Black color: Spit explodes in to oil slicks and gas attack blinds and slows enemies. Low damage. Healing Brew - Red color: Spit explodes in to regenerating area that lingers for a moment, gas attack becomes a healing AoE similar to Daeodon. Deals no damage. Propellant - Orange color: Spit explodes in to sticky flames. Gas attack bursts out flaming gas around it self. Low initial damage, sets things ablaze. Narcotic - Green color: Spit explodes in to a tranquilizing AoE splash. Gas attack works a bit like the gas grenade but with larger AoE. Low damage. Stone - White color: Spits out a goop covered rock, deals concussive damage like a catapult. Can damage up to stone buildings. Medium damage and no gas attack. Ammonite bile - Lime color: Spits out ammonite bile in an explosive glob, blowing up and giving out the ammonite bile debuff in an AoE. Gas attack does the same thing but around the creature. No initial damage. Spoiled meat - Dark green color: Spits out an acidic glob that explodes, dealing high damage to armor durability like arthropleura spit except in AoE. Gas attack does the same thing but around the creature. Medium damage. Organic polymer - Cyan color: Spits out an acidic glob that explodes, dealing less damage to armor durability, but has highest damage of all the natural ammunition types. High damage. Tek ammunition types: 10 x Metal ingots + 1 element: Orange energy color, the cannon shoots a massive slug of molten steel, dealing extremely high concussive damage and being able to damage up to Tek tier buildings.   8. All credit of the original idea goes to the op. Here we go 😁 let get this bug back to the leader board! The Bastion Beetle would be a great fit for any of the heavily forested maps. Especially the center! Here's my idea of how it would fit into the ecosystem of ark. Imagine you're walking through the red woods and you stumble across a colony of these impressive creatures. Imagine the light reflecting off their iridescent shell as they march through the trees. You are pleasantly surprised that these massive bugs are quite docile until they spot they preferred prey. You stand there mesmerized when suddenly an all too familiar hiss snaps you to your senses. A Pegomastax suddenly jumps from the bushes straight for you but before you can even react one of Beetles nearest to you lunges forward, snatching the pego right out of the air into its crushing jaws! Like ladybugs are to aphids, these Beetles voraciously hunt down the smallest of prey, happily snacking on all the arks most obnoxious critters. Even partaking in a ichthy here and there. You take a breath as you watch the Beetles continue their march through the trees, thankful you're to large for their liking. I give credit to the op for the idea if the sexual dimorphism. And definitely think its a great idea that the male and female would have different saddle for different tasks. I also think having the larval form has a shoulder pet that gives bug repellent is very useful! Ultimately I know it's up to the devs how a creature is implemented into the game. But how ever it's done the behemoth bug would be a great addition to the lineup!

Bit like the Rhyniognatha this creature would be scaled up from its real life counter part, they would live in deeper in the red crystal biomes in Aberration around where you would face Reaper Queens. Now for the abilities i have thought for this creature: Maybe a torpor inducing bite ála Arthropleura Wall climbing (duh its Aberration) Spitting exploding acid globules, think Arthropleura but bigger in scale and with a bit of added AoE (maybe uses things like organic polymer or spoiled meat as ammunition? or maybe they could use the many different mushrooms as ammunition for different effects?) Triple seater saddle (sort of) so the saddle would have obviously the rider, which would be mounted towards the head of the creature, than you have a middle segment and the back segment or tail segment which every you prefer. The middle and tail segments would have slots for them in the creatures inventory when saddled, and would allow you to insert any of the Arks many different mountable turret types on them, making the creature a walking, climbing triple turret of terror. Maybe you have two catapults, maybe a minigun and a rocket turret? The choice is yours to make. As for the stats i would say its on the tankier side, with a good amount of weight for carrying all the ammunition needed for the added turrets, not too fast though. It is a representative of the Macrochile family (not to be confused with Macrochilo). He will be the only flying creature on Aberration. And now I suggest you read the 6-page dossier I hope you enjoyed my creature. This is my first vote in which I participate. I hope Macrochile finds its place in this game.   12. Introducing Blue Glaucus. A friendly little buddy to help you on your adventure to the treacherous caverns, caves, and corners of Aberration. Wild: Blue Glaucus can be found in the bioluminescent zone, specifically in the water. Their diet consists of bio toxin which they are passively fed. After feeding these adorable blobs, they have the tendency to zip away quickly in the water and will only accept food again upon revisiting the surface. This presents a problem for anyone hoping to recruit this comrade, as most creatures see this fella as a quick easy meal. Tamed: Not only is this little guy cute, but the radiation of aberration has gifted this bugger with some rather interesting abilities. Much like many creatures of Ab, Ol’ Blue has found a way to project light from his body, allowing survivors and tames alike to see with ease. Blue Glaucus has also increased in size from its original counterpart and has evolved to sustain life on land or water indefinitely. They can be placed upon a persons shoulder, but have adapted to be able to mold to a person no matter where you put them. When bio toxin is placed in its inventory, using it’s tipped fins, he can latch onto many creatures when thrown, injecting them with a surprisingly very strong sedative before depleting it’s food source and needing eat to replenish its venom. Surprisingly enough, when placed on a survivors head, Blue can also filter air within a small radius, making gaseous toxins no longer a threat to a survivor. When placed on the survivors hands, it will cling to walls, almost as if it were a pair of climbing picks. When placed on the survivors torso, it will spread its fins allowing the player to glide across certain death. When placed upon a survivors legs, it will flap its fins downward, allowing a survivor to jump much higher than before. When placed on a survivors feet, it will straiten its fins and act as a pair of flip flops. Certainly an exploring tame-seekers best buddy. When placed on the ground, Blue can be set to “trap mode” acting almost as if it were a bear trap, to which it will fold its fins upward to latch onto unsuspecting creatures. As if the mentioned abilities weren’t enough, the things produce “slug venom” which can be milked and stored as a replacement for nameless venom.
  13. In real life Aethiocarenus is from an extinct order of instects. and it had glands in its neck that were likely used to disperse chemicals to protect itself. In ark it will be a bit bigger than a sabertooth and rideable. Abilities Gas & smoke aetiocarenus can create large gas and smoke clouds the gas clouds do damage but will stay lower to the ground. it and its rider can see inside the clouds. climbing it can climb on any surface. Narcotic production when it uses its toxins sometimes some will remain that you can use as narcotics Taming its a simple knock out tame except for the fact that it only takes torpor in its clouds meaning you will have to shoot it in very reduced visibility

Titan Ants or Camponatta Soleversa Titanus, are based off four real species of ant: Leaf Cutter Ant (Atta Cephalotes), Fire Ant (Solenopsis Geminata), Japanese Carpenter Ant (Camponotus Japonicus) and Marauder Ants (Carebara Diversa). Being ants, they will go through the various stages of ant life: egg, larvae, pupae and then the assigned caste/form. Roles in the ant colony. Worker: Based off Fire Ant Workers. Good for collecting berries, fibre, thatch and wood. Fast moving and can quickly swarm enemies, able to climb walls, form water rafts. Attacks are a bite, sting, and acid spray. Major: Based off Japanese Carpenter Ant Super Majors. Good for collecting meat, hide and can drag bodies. Slower moving but effective in combat, can climb walls and will stand guard by the entrance of your base. Attacks are a bite, lunge, climbing attack and carry. Super Major: Based off Marauder Ant Super Majors. Can carry large bodies and is able to collect stone, metal, and flint. Slower but Larger than the major, the super major can trap animals and knock them out plus they will act as tanks. Attacks are a bite, charge, trap bite and carry. Queen: Based off Leaf Cutter Ant Queens. Lays eggs, and grows your army every day, she will feed on Nutritional-Paste made by her workers. The largest member of the colony and the hardest to kill. Attacks are a bite, command over all ants, stomp and damage boosting call. Taming Method 1/2 The Queen can be found during events, alone and typically peaceful. It can be passive tamed with Angler Gel or Extraordinary kibble and then you fly them back to your base, they drop their wings and lay 2 to 6 eggs. Taming Method 2/2 You can find them roaming in large groups from 15 to 35 Ants, to get to the queen, you need to kill off the colony, trap the queen with a chain bola launched from a ballista, knock it out, and tame it with lots of meat as it consumes the meat very quickly Size Reference Titan Ant.tif

My idea for Ragnarok is the “Sky Yuty” the Kalligrammatids, a way to get sap efficiently considering we’d not instantly have acces to the sap giving tree stumps when ASA launches so this would be a good substitute, a creature that works well with the other creatures that dropped with this map originally (Ice Wyvern and Griffin) and another useful flyer since there’s a con about basically every flyer. First off for spawns I’d feel like it’d be at home mainly in the large redwood forests aswell as perhaps the canyons and highlands/wyvern den they’d behave similar to a Quetzal and Tapejara at the same time, flying somewhat high in the sky and never landing like the Quetzal but being very skittish like the Tapejara, I also think that due to its aerial buffing nature it’d be interesting if it’d not get attacked by other wild flyers and perhaps receive protection from them similar to the Ammonite. Next up for abilities, Left click: simple attack with legs or sucky straw Right click: pickup in the air (can pick up similar things to an Argent or Desmodus) and wing flap on the ground similar to a Wyvern C button: a buffing call that’d mainly buff things essential for flyers like for example: weight reductions, stamina based buffs, reduced damage (especially for projectile based attacks) and maybe a speed buff for slowpokes like the Quetzal, Argent and Astrocetus (Space Whale) . X: taunt/debuff, would work similar to the Rhyniognatha’s taunt on small creatures and/or would give survivors a debuff where they take increased fall damage or can’t use parachutes, glide suits etc to increase the effectiveness of picking people off mounts with flyers. Passive(‘s): wouldn’t get attacked by flyers (possibly only for wild ones), could potentially buff other flyers passively for example a slight buff in resistance, stamina regen, speed or damage and the Kalligrammatids could maybe gain a small buff by being around other flyers maybe even from specific ones like gaining a slight fire resistance from Fire Wyverns or being able to land on water like the Rhyniognatha when near a Pelagornis. Movement: on the ground it’d be pretty slow and not agile similar to the Lymantria like real world butterflies but in the air also similar to real butterflies would have a speed in between the Tapejara and Pteranodon while also being very agile like the Tapejara, Griffin, Desmodus and Rhyniognatha allowing it to go sideways, up, down etc. Stats/Tier: in terms of health it’d be similar to the Argentavis due to its bulk and size (might drop a size reference later), the stamina would be in between that of a Pteranodon and Argentavis with it having similar weight to a Desmodus maybe slight higher due to its size and large wings, in terms of damage it’d only deal low amounts of damage similar to Gasbags although probably slightly higher damage. Diet: Sap, Blood, Rare Flowers also that being the order of preference when taming, sap being the Mejoberry/raw meat, blood being the crop/prime meat and the rare flowers being the kibble or at least similar to mutton in effectiveness. Drops: would definitely drop: Raw meat and Chitin and would also maybe drop: Prime meat, Silk and/or Sap. Sap production/gatherer: there’s 3 ways I can invision this critter collecting sap, number 1 being: it buffing already existing sap taps maybe working extra well with Amargasaurus (could also apply for the other methods in some way) number 2: it collecting sap from the smaller redwood trees when it destroys them similar to how a Desmodus collects blood packs from creatures unlike any other creature, number 3 (and my favorite one): it hanging onto redwood trees like the Tapejara and with that passively collecting sap at a faster pace than tree sap taps (since tree sap taps are slow and look boring) . Taming method: eat a rare flower, this causes the Kalligrammatids to smell said rare flower and/or your sweat (like real life butterflies sorry for exposing this weird fact) which causes them to want to come close, this causes a sort of minigame in which other creatures will attack u (which wouldn’t damage the Kalligrammatids) but it’s not like u can fight back because that would scare it off, when it comes close enough and if you’ve survived upto this point you can passively feed it the earlier mentioned taming foods. My reason for choosing this creature: we already have a butterfly (I know it’s a moth but they’re very similar things) but it’s useless so I thought it’d be cool to get a new one, besides that the only useful insect is still pretty much just the Rhyniognatha so why not add another one + a giant butterfly would look insanely cool and I feel like with the ground work of this submission and the creatures we’ve been getting lately (mainly the Rhyniognatha and Carchar) I feel like the possibilities for this thing could be endless, especially on a new engine, besides that I just really wanted to add a creature that’d fit the map and the other Ragnarok exclusive creatures (eventhough they’re not really exclusive atp) which brought me to a flyer that could buff others + sap is hard to get and this way it’s way more fun than waiting on your tree sap taps + it’d fit the map perfectly with it being a majestic high flying flyer that could possibly roam above the huge cliffs (the ones with the armies of Spinos at the bottom), roam around the red forest’s canopies and could fly around the wyvern trench (like other insects). Original Species (Diochus Electrus) Dossier Species: Diochus Electrus Magnus Time: Middle Eocene Diet: Carrion Feeder Temperament: Defensive Wild Diochus Electrus Magnus is a strange subspecies of Diochus Electrus I have discovered on this ARK, it is much larger than most rove beetle species I know but tiny compared to the other beasts here. They tend to simply wander about in the forests and surprisingly some of the cold mountainous areas of this place looking for carrion to eat. Due to its small size many larger creatures would want to prey on it so it has evolved a truly unique defence mechanism. Diochus Electrus Magnus has become incredibly bioelectric capable of creating shockwaves and shooting electric beams from its abdomen. These electric light shows are usually enough to scare most would-be predators from attacking, those that aren't are tased into unconsciousness. Domesticated Those who have earned Diochus' trust (by spoiling it with food for a while) will find an organic taser at their disposal. Diochus isn't large enough to be ridden but it's small enough to sit on one's shoulder (Who thought it was fine to have a giant rove beetle on their shoulder I don't want to know). Diochus can be trained to act as an electric sentry on both peoples' shoulders and on the ground shooting electricity at threats from a distance, on peoples' shoulders Diochus seems to instinctively resuscitate survivors when they are unconscious. I have also seen people train it to be a sort of living electric mine in that it'll be trained to create an electric shockwave when enemies come close to it. I have heard rumours that a certain advanced tribe uses a colony of Diochus as rudimentary bioelectric generators to power certain machinery, while that sounds useful I can imagine it would be pretty tiring for the beetles after a while. Technical Stuff This electric rove beetle can be found within the forest and snow biomes of Ragnarok, in the wild its passive until provoked, when provoked it will start doing electricity shenanigans to defend itself. In order to tame it you must passive feed it certain food, the best food to feed it would be regular kibble and raw mutton. Once you feed it enough just like that it tamed! As a tamed creature the Diochus can be your shoulder pet, similar to how the Mesopithecus will throw poop at adversaries the Diochus will electrocute enemies (fun fact, the electrocution will deal more damage to things in water), if you become unconscious and Diochus is on your shoulder it will electrocute you to get out of unconsciousness, just beware it can't do this consantly and the electrocution may hurt your character a bit. It can shoot electricity both on your shoulder and on the ground, on the ground you can make it go into turret mode and it actually has 2 types of turret modes, the first mode is the more normal one; it shoots electricity at a distance, the second mode is the shockwave thing mentioned in the dossier, whenever enemies go near the beetle it creates an AOE shockwave. The last major thing about is that it can act as a generator, you can order Diochus to power a single certain machine that requires electricity, one thing to note, the Diochus can't power something forever and eventually it runs out of energy and will need to recharge, if you want to have it power things for longer then level up the stamina stat.
  17. Hello fellow ark players! The creature i have concocted is in essence a normal scorpion except REALLY BIG. Now you may say to yourself hey we already have one of these in the game, it's just a really big Pulmonoscorpius. But it isn't, first off its huge like rex size but with a lot more legs. Next its got an interesting movement pattern. Third it has both new reproduction, and a taming method. Finally it has a unique saddle system! The Opsieobuthus has tough natural armor and more! The movement pattern of the Opsieo is rather odd and new. The Opsieo spawns anywhere on the map except its very rare like giga rare. Once it spawns it wanders around the map at night until daylight at which point it locks into a standard creature movement pattern patrolling an area about 1/8 kilometers wide until nightfall. At night the Opsieo can travel surprisingly far distances in one night such as across a mountain range or across a desert. The Opsieo is also capable of climbing all but the steepest slopes across an ark. The taming method of the Opsieobuthus is complicated. It's a two part tame, the first part being a stealth passive tame, and the second being to follow it on its wanderings. To accomplish the first part you feed it like in the Araeno taming process but instead of normal items you need to kill chitinous creatures and bring the bodies to it, it will then eat the corpse and gain points into a meter once full it will become passive in regard to the player. To complete the tame you need to wait until night comes at which point the Opsieo will begin to roam across the ark you must follow it until daybreak at which point it will able to be fed a wild chitinous creature that is at least level 100. The reproductive and early life aspects of the Opsieobuthus are unique. For starters the Opsieo give live birth to 4-5 offspring at the same time. Once born baby to juvenile Opsieos will cling to the abdomen or follow the mother. The food in the mothers inventory will be fed automatically to the babies. The juvenile Opsieos will stay in a zone designated by the player around the mother. As mentioned earlier the saddle for the Opsieo is a little bit unusual. It's a platform saddle that shares characteristics with the Mek modules. The platform saddle is two foundations long and one wide. There are three customizable modules for the Opsieo saddle. OPSIEO.SEIGE.MODULE. Is a pvp/pve module, in pvp it can be used for destroying enemy bases, and in pve as a specialized taming module for the incapacitation of the Titanosaur and Rock golem. OPSIEO.CARRYING.MODULE. Is an all server module for carrying anything bigger than a raptor or smaller than a Stego. OPSIEO.TRANQ.MODULE. Is basically a harpoon gun that takes harpoons from the Opsieos inventory and turns then into tranq-harpoons with 5x more torpor than standard tranq-harpoons. I will be happy to answer any questions that may arise about the Opsieobuthus.
  18. Locusts, The Swarming Insect Of Scorched Earth. The locusts are able to walk, jump, and fly in the air. The locusts will have a pack buff as they are usually in swarms. The abilities the locust would give is visibility during a sandstorm; weight reduction vor gathering cactus sap, poly, sand. During sandstorms they get an additional speed buff. Able to be ridden with and without a saddle. Saddle looks like a motorcycle seat that allows for extra passengers up to 2. Will be able to grapple objects that are smaller in size while it flies in the air. Tame-able similar to the equus, dinopithicus and andrewsarchus. Defeat the pack to tame the one you want and ride it with the food in the last slot of your hotbar. Size comparison is a bit bigger than the mantis.

Opabinia: The Portable Hydration Station Basic info: Group: Arthropod Species: Opabinia regalis Diet: Carnivorous Temperament: Reactive Description: Opabinia is a strange and rare arthropod that lives in the various oases that scatter the map. Although they can 'swim' through the desert sand, they prefer an aquatic lifestyle and are only found underwater in the wild. It's slightly larger than its prehistoric counterpart, retaining most of its ancestor's odd features: five stalked eyes scattered atop its head, segmented flaps that propel Opabinia forward at surprising speeds and a long 'trunk-like' proboscis with a deadly claw at its end. It uses this to latch onto its prey, and to absorb large quantities of water within its body to help survive against droughts. Opabinia will attack as soon as it notices you enter the water, doing bleeding damage over time. Utility: Hydration/Living Waterskin: Using its trunk to drink its body weight in water, it can latch on to anyone that tames it like a backpack. Providing hydration to the wearer at the cost of speed. Water still appears to evaporate over time, although it may do so at a slower rate. If the Opabinia runs out of water, it will seek a more desperate means of survival and become parasitic. Parasitic: It uses its clawed proboscis to latch deeper into its host's body, doing a small amount of bleeding damage over time as it feeds. It is near impossible to remove Opabinia once it has taken blood from its host. If Opabinia's host dies whilst it is in this mode, it rejects its owner and is no longer tamed, swimming rapidly through the sand and back to the nearest oasis. Drops: Raw Meat Chitin Taming: Opabinia can be passive tamed by approaching it while wearing ghilie armor. It will no longer attack underwater unless provoked, and instead will latch onto the player, taming over time while decreasing the players' water bar at a much faster rate than usual. Once bred, the Opabinia stays attached to the host and provides its body weight in water. Keeping it hydrated will ensure it doesn't become untamed upon the player's death.   20. Pet Info: 1. Queen Butterfly Pets are used to collect "Nectar" aka water when you collect from bushes or flower shrubs (This would include crops). I would think if you add a container to their inventory it would be a way to fill them up while it is on your shoulder and you collect berries, etc. 2. They Glow brightly and flutter and move their wings when they get near a bee hive (Queen Bee) or a Water Well Spot. 3. While equipped you can glide short distances (Like glider wings) 4. They buzz when thunderstorms are near. 5. They do not attack and are naturally passive flee. 6. Are tamed by holding up a torch in their vicinity AT NIGHT, after eating a rare flower. (It is instant tamed this way, the timer would need to be low to allow you to run from everything else. lol). 7. They give Chitin, silk and/or rare flowers when killed. 8. They eat any vegetable, berry or fruit, Preferring Rare Flowers. My Thoughts: I'm hoping it can be around the size of a Sinomacrops. I would LOVE to have all color ranges open, as many as possible (They are meant to be colorful!). Real world Information: The Queen butterfly (Danaus gilippus) is a year-round resident in the deserts of the American West. It is a relative of the Common Monarch (Danaus plexippus), but is darker in color. Adult Queen butterflies have a wingspan of 2 5/8 inches to 3 7/8 inches (6.7 to 9.8 cm). Utilities The scarab will be able to pull a platform : The scarab will have : - a saddle for the scarab itself - a platform like a raft that work on land and on water surface Some structures can be built on the platform but not a lot. The platform, like the raft, has no weight limit but a number of slots limits. The platform can't move without a scarab. The platform will be vulnerable to Leedsichthys when on water surface. Abilities/limitations : The scarab can't sprint. Instead, he can fly a little above ground and water. He won't be able to fly above 1-2 meters like the Jug Bug. The flying ability will be more like a stance change than a real flight and will consume very low stamina. His base movement speed will be high and the same when walking or flying. The scarab is slow when swimming and can't go underwater. However it can fly above the water; When the scarab pulls the platform, it will ignore the weight/slots and pull the platform at a speed equals to its movement speed on the current terrain (land or water surface). When flying above water, the pull speed will be the same as on land. For the taming and breeding, there can be a lot possibilities but as I have no preference, I prefer let this part empty
