  1. I was just watching a stream where an ARK player was doing the alpha Tokyo Skifft Mission in the lunar biome and failed either to the element gas, dying of radiation, or running out of time because of the ridiculous countdown. When i heard they were restructuring genesis i hoped the missions would change. but i was wrong, the missions in gen 1 have not changed and there needs to be a change. here are my suggestions: 1. Remove the timer. In alpha, beta and gamma mode, there is a time frame and if you run out of time, you lose. alpha is tight, and i've only ever beaten the races at the last second which tells me if the game makes you stuck or drift too far from the path you are guaranteed to lose. Solution: Longer races, more obstacles, on gamma it is basically a simple race, drifting, rocky paths and such, but alpha, add seekers, or pterodons or things that can distract you and throw you off balance. 2. Make them retroactive or make them not a story requirement. in order to even reach the master controller you have to play 176 missions and i've seen people struggle against one and it would take weeks. i would rather breed an entire army of Deinotherium to fight a boss. ark survival ascended is supposed to be about will power and strategy not am i fast enough? 3. Give them their own hubs like on genesis 2. now i know there aren't just races but this can be applied to other missions because you can still be attacked and killed by wild dinos doing fetch missions or tracking missions. so either make it so only mission creatures can attack or move them to their own region for you to complete them in. pvp during missions must be hectic. Before anyone comments saying its a skill issue. ive been watching ark players who have been playing longer than me and have more skill than me, fail at those stupid races with only 1 win among their group
  2. Gen 1 Ships should take damage from tames. The difficulty should be scaled back if the mission is being done solo. It would be an action of good faith to let players who didn't buy the dlc to interact and defeat the ship outposts without having to use the ships. Granted I did buy the dlc and I think it's great, but it's a huge missed opportunity that I can't take a tsuo and just destroy a sloop. I also am really bummed my mod Livyatan isn't of any use for those missions. Please WC hear my pleese!
  3. Since you don't want players to explore the ocean anyway just make tames and characters take gradually increasing pressure damage once close to oceans "floor". Just don't make It ramp up too fast since most water tames are clumsy.
  4. Make it much clearer when the volcano on Genesis 1 is erupting and where. Right now, you: - can't tell it's erupting when inside and mounted on a magmasaur saddle (debuff doesn't show) - can't tell when it starts or ends and WHERE it starts at the various entrances There's a few clear tells right now: - inside, not mounted on a magmasaur, you get the notification and debuff - inside and outside, you can see the lava starting to bubble - outside, you can see the volcano erupt at the top and shoot out rocks/lava It is however very hard to tell when it ended or if it's still going on, both at the entrances and while you're inside. Quite often, you're not necessarily in sight of any of these signs either (bubbling lava, flying rocks). This leads to players entering back in too early or dismounting from a magmasaur thinking it's safe. On top of that, with the constant shaking in the volcano biome, it's hard to tell what's a sign and what isn't (afaik the shaking is not related to the eruptions?). Suggestions: - add VFX that clearly differentiates the entire inside during eruption so players inside can tell (and also at entrances before they get into the damaging area) - make the notification and debuff that warns you of the eruption consitent, i.e. add it also when mounted on magmasaur saddles so that the lack of a debuff can be understood to mean safety
  5. I consider Ferox one of the most exotic creatures on the Genesis map. I really like the concept of a small creature turning into a ferocious monster by consuming ELEMENT. Its mobility is great, it has good attack speed, but I'd like to add some ideas to improve it in ASA: Climbing - Ferox's climbing in ASE is by jumping. You aim at an area it can reach and jump, but you remain stationary and have to aim elsewhere. If you want to climb a little, it makes small jumps, but when it's near an edge, it has difficulty climbing or it falls. The idea here is that it could climb like Rockdrake or Megalania to facilitate movement, as there are areas in ASE, for example, where its jumping climbs won't reach even at close range. While on the shoulder - While it's small on the shoulder and you want to transform it into the large version, we would have the option to transform it like Pyromane, but it would consume the necessary element to transform it. Breeding - For those who have already tamed and want to breed Ferox, to get them to mate, it's necessary to addict the females to 100% of an element that, over time, will decrease, and must be above 95%, otherwise they won't mate. By doing this, in the process, it transforms into the large version, and you wait until they return to being small to initiate mating. The idea here is to slightly increase the male's mating radius and reduce the necessary addiction to 90%. Well, that's what I'm envisioning; I hope WC improves something in him for Genesis.
  6. “Everyone’s favourite Quantum levitating Echinoderm” So this is my entry for the creature submission for Genesis pt.1. Hope you guys n girls like my take. This is a Crinoid, an ancient echinoderm that lurked deep within the oceans of the Jurassic. Bizarrely this ancient starfish evolved to climb out of the ocean & into the vast expanse of space. These Echinoderms cling to orbiting asteroids feeding on Ambergris, at the moment of danger they take to the stars. Zero gravity floatation Crinoids evolved to utilise a bizarre ability thought to only exist as a theoretical suggestion, living within the Lunar biome these Echinoderms achieve a form of quantum levitation in which appears as zero gravity propulsion. It’s believed that the organelles present within the main body of the Crinoid functions as an intense magnetic field generator in which achieves a form of flux pinning or quantum levitation, the result causes the organism to suspend indefinitely at a set altitude. The fronds of the Crinoid assist in the manoeuvrability of the Echinoderm while moving through the air, though despite well suited within the Lunar biome the Crinoid is capable of using this outside of this terrain however with much strain. Photon beams When running or hiding no longer works to one’s favour animals often resort to the offensive, and the Crinoid possesses a devastating ability to retaliate. Much like a plant the fronds of the Crinoid has evolved to become photosynthetic in nature, soaking sunlight as well as solar plasma as an alternative to obtaining energy whenever ambergris becomes scarce. However when the creature faces danger that it knowingly seldom to win the Crinoid is able to expel this potential energy in the form of photon beams. Barometric protection Much akin to an umbrella the Crinoid utilises a form of protection against atmospheric pressure as well as debuffs caused by weather conditions particularly harsh sunlight, heavy downpours & snowfall, increasing hyperthermal & hypothermal insulation caused by the fluxes by 84 so long as the Crinoid splays forth shielding its Survivor. Ambergris filter Crinoids are filter feeders by nature where they use their fronds to accumulate solar plasma as well as microorganisms that float around the Lunar biome, their preferred source of food & fuel is Ambergris in which drifts through the air as fine particles. Passively the Crinoid accumulates & creates Ambergris clumps in which can be used to raise infant Magmasaurs as well as fuel for the the Astrocetus’ bomb attack, in addition the Crinoid acts as a superior preservative containment for 9hrs/20mins.
  7. Concept Name: Stegodon Species Name: Stegodon Ignis (Fiery Stegodon) Role: Combat (especially boss battles), Gathering (wood, straw, berries, carrots) Habitat: Genesis Part 1 Volcano Biome 1. Wild * Appearance: An elephant with long, massive tusks that are straighter than a mammoth's. Its body color is red, black, or orange, reminiscent of volcanic rock or burning lava, and it has tough skin. * Biology: They usually live in groups of three. Within the group, there is a "Leader Stegodon" that is slightly larger and higher level. * Behavior: * Generally gentle and does not actively attack survivors or other creatures. * When attacked by survivors or carnivores (especially large beasts like Giganotosaurus), the entire group becomes hostile. * When hostile, the leader stegodon will howl ("Fiery Roar") and grant a buff that increases the attack and defense power of the entire pack (including tamed stegodons). 2. Taming Method (Special) Taming Method: Pack Bond Taming * First, stun two low-level stegodons with tranquilizer arrows or other methods, then proceed with the standard taming technique. * Attack the target leader stegodon to make it hostile. * Instead of attacking the hostile leader stegodon, lure it toward the two tamed stegodons without attacking them. * The leader stegodon will recognize that the two tamed stegodons are being separated from their pack (territory) and enter a special mini-game phase to activate Pack Bond. * During this phase, survivors must approach the leader stegodon and hand over specific berries or vegetables (e.g., mejoberries or carrots) that the leader desires within a certain time frame. This handover must be performed during a brief moment between the leader's attacks. * If the handover is successful, the leader's stun value will increase significantly, eventually falling into stun (tranquilizer arrows are not required). * The leader cannot be tamed until the stun taming of the two tamed members is complete. The leader Stegodon will gain loyalty from the survivors by witnessing the taming of its pack members. 3. Performance Attack Ability * Charge Attack (Primary Attack): Charges with long, straight fangs thrust out like a spear. * This attack deals high additional damage, especially to creatures with hard armor and large carnivores (such as Giganotosaurus). * Due to its adaptation to volcanic biomes, its fangs are heated, inflicting a **Burn Debuff** (continuous burning damage) on any creatures it hits. * Nose Attack (Secondary Attack): Swings its nose, slamming enemies in a wide area or knocking them back. * Stomp Attack (Special Attack/Hold): Binds enemies and stomps them with its heavy feet. It can also gather resources such as wood and straw. * Passive/Buff: * The leader (the tamed Stegodon with the highest level) can optionally activate **Fiery Roar**, granting attack and defense buffs to nearby friendly Stegodons (the entire herd). * Anti-Giganotosaurus and Boss Attack: It has a significantly increased damage bonus compared to normal creatures against Giganotosaurus and enemies in boss battles (especially the Corrupted Master Controller). This makes it a powerful force in boss battles. Gathering Ability and Utility * Harvesting Efficiency: It can harvest wood, straw, berries, and carrots extremely efficiently. * Weight Reduction: The weight of harvested wood, straw, berries, and carrots is reduced (for example, by 75%), allowing you to carry large amounts of resources. * Pack Operation: When three pack members are in action (one leader and two others), a hidden buff is applied that further increases movement speed and attack power. Survivor Notes: "If the Magmasaur is a fire that melts metal, the Stegodon is a fire that scorches enemies. Its long, hot fangs will intimidate even the volcano's most ferocious predators. However, you must value the bonds between pack members before upsetting the leader."
  8. The concept of Brygmophyseter as a creature living in the deep sea biome in "ARK: Genesis Part 1" is as follows: Brygmophyseter Concept Wildlife: Direwolf of the Ocean Brygmophyseter is an extremely ferocious whale, worthy of its name: the "Direwolf of the Sea." Despite being about half the size of a Mosasaurus, it is at the top of the food chain in the deep sea biome. * Pack Behavior and Leadership: * They always travel in groups of five. * The highest-level individual in the group becomes the leader and becomes the center of the group. * When they spot an enemy, they will attack survivors and other creatures without hesitation. They are particularly hostile toward larger creatures, such as Mosasaurus and Megachelons, and will aggressively attack them. * Combat Ability: * Its bite attack is extremely powerful, inflicting a bleeding effect on the enemy and dealing continuous damage. * Leader (Alpha): At the start of battle or when it is losing ground, it will roar, granting an attack and defense buff similar to the Yutyrannus' roar to the entire pack. * Non-Leader (Beta/Omega): During battle, it will release a pheromone that grants a healing and regeneration buff to the entire pack, similar to the Daeodon's healing ability. This allows the entire pack to cooperate and demonstrate high fighting ability. Taming Method (Special Taming): Pack Mini-Game Brygmophyseter can only be tamed by mastering its powerful pack tactics and building a bond with the entire pack. * Special Taming Requirements: * Normal food is not used. * All five pack members must be tamed at the same time. * Taming Process (Mini-game "Deep Sea Bonds"): * When a survivor approaches the pack, a special taming UI will appear. * The pack leader will become wary of the survivor, and the **Leader's Trial** will begin. * Survivors must individually administer a special **Calming/Coordination Pheromone** (Taming Pheromone) to four non-leader individuals designated by the leader within a certain time frame. * Administration involves a mini-game in which survivors must predict the Brygmophyseter's movements and approach while avoiding its attacks. If they are bitten, the pheromone administration will fail and the taming gauge will be significantly depleted. * Once all four individuals have been administered pheromones and the taming gauge is at its maximum, survivors will have the final chance to administer pheromones to the leader. If successful, all five individuals will be tamed simultaneously. * If any survivor strays too far from the pack or a fight occurs, the taming progress will be significantly reset. Tamed Performance and Role Tamed Brygmophyseter's pack behavior and buffing abilities make it a powerful group buff/debuff specialist in deep-sea combat. * Main Role: * Buff/debuff support in group battles * Large creature killer * Deep-sea exploration support 1. Group Combat Ability and Pack Modification * Pack Modification: Its true value is best seen in groups of five rather than alone. * "Howl (Leader Buff)": * This skill can be activated by high-level leader individuals. * In addition to granting buffs to the entire group of Brygmophyseter within its range, it also grants buffs to tamed aquatic creatures (such as Mosasaurus, Plesiosaurus, and Ichthyosaurus) that enhance their attack and defense. (Same effect as Yutyrannus.) * Even after taming, the individual with the highest pack level automatically becomes the pack leader. * "Pheromone Release (Recovery/Regeneration Buff)": * This skill can be activated by non-leaders. (Cooldown period applies) * Grants a continuous HP recovery and stamina regeneration speed buff to all Brygmophyseter packs within its range. (Same effect as Daeodon) 2. Special Effect Against Large Creatures * "Giant Predator": * Significantly increases attack power against creatures larger than Brygmophyseter, such as Mosasaurus and Megachelon. * In particular, the damage multiplier against the underwater boss Moeder is set high, making it an important attacker and buffer when defeating them. 3. Bleeding Debuff * Bite Attack: * Even after taming, the bite attack inflicts a bleeding effect on the enemy, continuously reducing their HP. This is an effective damage source even against large enemies. 4. Electricity and Poison Resistance * Electricity Resistance: * Similar to the Basilosaurus, it is completely immune to the electric shock and paralysis effects of Cnidaria (jellyfish) and Electrophorus (electric eels). This helps maintain a stable front during deep sea exploration and combat. 5. Deep Sea Exploration Support * Oxygen Supply: * Grants the survivor an oxygen supply buff while mounted, effectively allowing them unlimited underwater activity time. This makes it an essential companion for exploring the deep sea biome. The Brygmophyseter's ferocity and group tactics make it one of the most dangerous wildlife in the Genesis deep sea biome. However, once tamed, it becomes a powerful supporter/attacker indispensable for deep sea group combat and boss defeats.
  9. Turn up the speakers, the Pebanista is here! Common Name: Pebanista Species: Pebanista Sonocantus Time: Early-Middle Miocene Diet: Piscivore Temperament: Curious Wild: "While exploring near the mouth of the Central River, a coastal tribe told me about a creature capable of sinking rafts with its sounds. They called it 'The Echo of the Depths.' I went to investigate, and before long, I heard a strange noise. It was a group of Pebanistas playing around. I noticed that those dolphins had a highly developed sonar and the surprising ability to thrive both in rivers and in the ocean. Over time, I learned that these dolphins are extremely curious and are drawn to music Domesticated: To tame a Pebanista, you need to get close using a raft or an underwater platform. The group’s leader will approach once you start playing the war drums, and the Pebanista will whistle to trigger a mini-game. Win the rhythm battle and you’ll earn a loyal ally ready to protect you, but lose, and the Pebanista will unleash a Sonic Doom to smash your raft. It’s best not to bring sharks with you, since they don’t get along with Pebanistas. Pebanista Color Variant It can survive for a few minutes out of the water, just fill its inventory with water jars. Attacks/Controls Left Click/RT/R2 Bitin’ Chord: Pebanista will bite its target twice in a row and proceed to emit a sonic blast, pushing back the target. Right Click/LT/L2 Nightmare Chant: The Pebanista whistles at the target, giving it a debuff that lowers its damage resistance and stamina by 15%. How long it lasts depends on the creature’s fear level. It also causes the creature to lose control and run around at random, while its rider can’t steer it for 10 seconds and It only applies to creatures smaller than the Pebanista. Q/LB/L1 Friendly Chorus: Pebanista whistles at its allies, giving them a Courage buff that boosts damage resistance by 25% and melee damage by 30%. Ctrl + Right Click/ RB + RT/ R1 + R2/ Tail Swipe: Pebanista proceeds to make a tail swipe to attack the target. Leaving the target stunned after being knocked back X/LS/L3 Sonic Doom: The sound bar fills up after 25 attacks. When it’s charged, The Pebanista releases a powerful shockwave that knocks enemies back, slows their attack speed, throws off their aim, and blocks whistle commands to their dinos. [Duration: 20 seconds) Abilities Rescue pickup: If the player is getting attacked, their nearby Peban can passively grab them and escape from danger, gaining a speed boost. Whistle Disruption: The Pebanista releases a powerful sonic burst that prevents enemy creatures from responding to whistle commands. This ability has a 20-second cooldown. CTRL/D-Pad Up - Echolocation Vision Press space/A/X twice. Breaching: Like other dolphins, the Pebanista can leap out of the water. Upon reentry, it gains a temporary speed boost. Passive Electric Immunity: The Pebanista has great resistance to being completely electrocuted. Parental Bond: The pod stays together, and the Pebanistas have a strong parental instinct, allowing them to increase their damage by 15% to protect their pack. Utility Aquatic Sonar: Pebanistas are excellent aquatic creatures. They possess high echolocation capabilities to explore the depths of ocean biomes, detecting distant creatures and allies. Scare Sign: The Fear Whistle of the Pebanista is useful when a shoal surrounds you. The Peba will emit a whistle capable of instilling fear in creatures smaller than a Megalodon Transport/ Marin Scout: This prehistoric Dolphin is good when you must escape from danger. Pebanistas can compete with Ichthyosaurus and Manta’s speed. Insulation/Electric Resistance: The hypodermic fat of Pebanista helps them insulate themselves in cold waters and isolate them from electrical attacks by Cnidarias, as well as resist Moeder’s electric blasts. Prime Raw Fish Harvest/Preserver: The Pebanistas love the fish like the other dolphins; they are good at harvesting prime raw fish and preserving fish in their inventory. Pet: These dolphins develop a strong bond with their tribe. Pet them from time to time to show your appreciation; you can do it from their radial menu. Saddle The Pebanista’s saddle is built to handle both the deep-sea pressure and its speed. You can ride it like a jet ski, and it comes with lights to help you navigate the darker parts of the ocean biome. The brightness of the lights can be adjusted by the rider. This is useful for your adventures in the ocean depths or when you want to take a nighttime stroll along the seabed. SIze Comparisson I’d like to thank Drawolf for this fanart of the Pebanista. 10. Species Name • Scientific Name: Nuralagus rex • Common Names: Genesis Giant Rabbit, Timid Snow Rabbit, Snowy Mountain Hermit • Habitat: Genesis Part 1 Snowy Mountain Biome (especially around caves in the eastern area where snowstorms are likely to occur, and the relatively safe, deep ice valleys in the northern area) • Diet: Herbivorous (prefers the special moss and frozen berries that grow in the unique snowy mountains) 1. Characteristics of Wild Species Appearance and Biology • Appearance: A huge, short-eared rabbit, reaching a height of about chest height. Its thick white or pale gray fur blends in with the snowy mountains, allowing it to withstand extreme cold. Unlike other rabbits, it lacks long ears; instead, it has small, round ears that are tightly pressed against its head to protect it from snow and wind. Due to its timid nature, it is always alert to its surroundings, and its large pupils provide excellent visibility at night and in snowy storms. • Timidity: They are set as the most timid creatures in ARK. If the player or another creature approaches within a certain distance (for example, 50 meters), they will immediately begin fleeing, and their fleeing speed is extremely fast. They will never initiate combat (passive). • Special Perception Abilities: • "Terrified Prevision": Rather than hearing, they possess special sensory organs that allow them to instinctively sense minute vibrations and changes in air pressure in their surroundings, and even "a survivor's intention to tame them." Due to this ability, if the player is wearing even slightly conspicuous equipment (especially metal or TEK), their warning range doubles, making it difficult to even approach them. • Escape Mechanics: When fleeing, they combine unpredictable zigzag running with incredible short-distance jumping ability, allowing them to escape rocks and crevasses without any problem. It is extremely difficult for tamers to figure out their escape route. • Climate Adaptation: • Cold Tolerance (Extreme): Wild specimens are completely resistant to the harsh blizzards and freezing temperatures of snowy mountain biomes, and are immune to biome-specific environmental damage. • Heat Tolerance (Low): Because they are primarily specialized for cold climates, they do not have extreme heat resistance, but they can travel through normal biomes without any problems. However, they are less resistant to the intense heat of volcano and desert biomes. • Drops: Drops very high-quality Nuralagus Pelt. This provides better insulation than normal fur and can be used to improve the durability of Ghillie and Fur Gear. 2. Special Taming Method "Silent Pursuit" • Prerequisite: Nuralagus rex is extremely timid and can sense "intention" in addition to sight and hearing, making it completely impossible to tame with normal feeding or stunning. Taming requires a special approach that avoids mental and physical close combat. • Required Equipment: 1. Full Ghillie Gear: Required. Make the most of the stealth effect of the Ghillie gear to minimize the alert range of Nuralagus rex's "Premonition of Terror." If a Survivor is wearing any gear other than Ghillie gear (even a single piece), its alert level will increase, making taming impossible. 2. Special Tool "Wand of Serenity": A special crafting item (rewarded by Genesis missions or crafted with a TEK Replicator). This wand temporarily dulls Nuralagus rex's ability to detect "intentions," emitting a special wave that disguises a Survivor's intent to kill or capture as "kindness." • Taming Procedure: 1. Entering the Alert Range: While wearing full Ghillie gear, slowly approach Nuralagus rex. Any sudden movements, such as running or jumping, will immediately increase its alert level and cause it to begin a high-speed escape. 2. Stand Still and Observe: Once you reach the Nuralagus Rex's alert range (for example, 15 meters), stand still and prepare your Wand of Tranquility. While you have the wand ready, the survivor's stamina will continuously decrease. 3. Gain Trust (Taming Gauge Increases): Remain still until the Nuralagus Rex does not flee and enters an "observing" state (the observing state is indicated by a special icon above the rabbit's head). Once in observing state, approach quietly with the wand ready, without picking up any food from your inventory, and perform a specific motion (for example, the player performing the "bow" emote). 4. Taming Complete: After performing the motion, if you remain still for a certain period of time (approximately 30 seconds) without being alarmed, the Nuralagus Rex will determine that the survivor is "harmless," and the Taming Gauge will increase. During this time, if other creatures are nearby, the alert level will increase again, and the Taming Gauge will decrease significantly. 5. Difficulty of High-Level Specimens: The higher the level of the Nuralagus rex, the stricter the time it must remain stationary before entering the "Observation" state and the stricter the survivor's movements (such as camera direction) while the taming gauge is rising. This taming method requires great patience and mental strength. 6. Note: If the Nuralagus rex begins to flee, the taming gauge will reset, and it will continue to flee even if pursued, so you will need to distance yourself and wait for its alertness level to decrease. 3. Performance and Unique Abilities Tamed Nuralagus rex exhibit excellent alertness and movement abilities due to its timidity. Basic Performance • Movement Specialization: • "Jet Hop": While its normal running speed is average, it has extremely high acceleration and jumping power in a short period of time. It boasts unparalleled mobility, especially on uneven terrain and slopes in snowy mountain biomes. • "Frozen Terrain": Its special foot structure allows it to maintain grip even on surfaces where other creatures would slip, such as the ice of a snowy mountain biome or the frozen surface of a lake, allowing it to move at high speeds and with stability. • Weather Resistance: • Cold Resistance (Benefit to Rider): Survivors riding a Nuralagus Rex gain the "Arctic Serenity" buff, which completely negates the blizzard debuff in snowy mountain biomes and greatly reduces environmental damage from extremely low temperatures. • Heat Resistance (Environmental Adaptation): While there is no heat resistance buff for survivors, Nuralagus Rex itself improves its environmental adaptability through taming, allowing it to travel comfortably in normal environments (swamps, oceans, and forests). **However, it is still vulnerable to the extreme heat of volcano biomes.** • Gathering Ability: • "Snowy Harvester": Gathering abilities specialized for snowy mountain biomes. In addition to gathering regular berries and straw, they also efficiently gather special forage items with extremely long shelf lives, such as "Frost Berries" and "Moss of Life," which are exclusive to snowy mountain biomes. Unique Abilities 1. Emergency Evasion Ability: "Panic Blink" • Effect: Nuralagus Rex instantly teleports a short distance (approximately 15 meters) to evade the attack when it or a mounted survivor is about to take fatal damage or enter the range of an area-of-effect attack. There's a long cooldown (e.g., 120 seconds). • Uniqueness: This is not a survivor's control, but a reflexive defensive reaction caused by Nuralagus Rex's own extreme cowardice. For example, it automatically activates at the signs of an avalanche or just before a Tyrannosaurus Rex's powerful bite hits, potentially saving the mounted survivor's life. This is an extremely unique "movement-focused" ability that allows you to survive unexpected accidents in PvP/PvE. 2. Stealth Ability "Absolute Silence" • Effect: When Nuralagus rex is stationary or moving slowly, the range at which it can be detected by nearby hostile creatures (wild and tamed) is greatly reduced (e.g., to 5% or less of its normal detection range). • Uniqueness: When combined with the stealth effect of the Ghillie equipment, it allows it to perform feats impossible in the standard ARK, such as silently passing by hostile wild creatures. This is the ultimate in stealth, driven by its timid nature. In PvP, it is extremely effective for scouting enemy bases or moving silently through swarms of tamed enemy creatures. 3. "Environmental Sensor" • Effect: While mounted, a small HUD appears on the screen, providing real-time environmental information specific to snowy mountain biomes, such as remaining blizzard time, avalanche chance, and maximum cold debuff strength. • Uniqueness: Survivors can accurately determine their next safe action (start moving/waiting) even in the midst of a blizzard that reduces visibility to zero in dangerous snowy mountain biomes. Giving survivors time to "prepare" significantly reduces the difficulty of exploring snowy mountain biomes. 4. Saddle 1. Nuralagus Armed Saddle • Unlock Level: 85 • Features: Equipped with defensive "Mobile Snowball Launchers" on both sides and the rear of the saddle. • Weapon Features: • Snowball Launcher: Fires snowballs using snow collected in snowy mountain biomes. Snowballs not only damage hostile creatures but also temporarily inflict a "Freeze" debuff, slowing their movement speed. • "Surveillance Fire": Just before Nuralagus Rex's "Panic Blink" activates (the moment an enemy attack hits), it automatically fires a series of snowballs at the nearest threat, providing support fire to increase the chances of a successful evasion. 2. Nuralagus TEK Saddle • Unlock Level: TEK Gram (by defeating Moeder, etc.) • Features: A high-performance saddle that maximizes the mobility of the Nuralagus rex and compensates for its timidity with technology. • Additional Abilities: 1. "High Mobility Booster": Adds a boost function that doubles normal running speed and jumping power for a short period (approximately 5 seconds). This boost function makes it independent of terrain and allows for fine-tuning of movement direction in the air, effectively making it an ultra-fast moving vehicle. 2. "Acoustic Stealth Field": Enhances the "Absolute Silence" ability, completely blocking the sounds of the mounted survivor's movement and the surrounding environment while the TEK Saddle is active. In PvP, this effectively nullifies enemy acoustic detection capabilities (such as those of Bloodstalkers). 3. "Directional Radar": The radar built into the TEK saddle adds a HUD function that clearly displays the terrain and creatures (including hostile or not) in your path, even when visibility is reduced due to a snowstorm or blizzard. This completely eliminates movement restrictions caused by obstructed visibility. 5. Summary Due to its extreme timidity, taming Nuralagus rex requires maximum stealth and patience. However, once tamed, it combines ultimate stealth with "Absolute Silence," absolute survivability with "Panic Blink," and weather resistance to defy the harsh environment of the snowy mountain biome, making it a unique presence in Genesis Part 1's snowy mountain exploration. Its high-speed movement, reconnaissance, and above all, its guaranteed survival from the snowy mountain make it the ultimate companion for any survivor.
  11. Concept Proposal: Cave Bear Overview A large, extinct bear. It inhabits the caves and surrounding areas of the volcano biome in ARK: Genesis Part 1. It is ferocious and has a tendency to indiscriminately attack other creatures. Occasionally, a parent cave bear appears with a baby cave bear. X-Cave Bear Habitat: Snowy Mountain Biome Characteristics: * Appears whitish, resembling a polar bear. * Lower health than the standard species, but higher attack power. A variant specialized for combat. Wild 1. Personality and Behavior * Ferocious: It will attack indiscriminately upon encountering hostile creatures or survivors. * Parent and Child Appearance: Parents (untamable) occasionally roam with their babies (tameable). * Attack Pattern: Moves quickly on all fours, then switches to bipedal walking to unleash powerful attacks. 2. Special Ability * Roar of Despair: Howls at regular intervals, temporarily demoralizing hostile creatures (including survivors) within a wide range (applying a debuff that reduces movement speed and attack power). While howling, the howl increases the creature's own attack power, speed, and defense for a short period (applying a buff). Tame Method (Special: Only baby cave bears can be tamed) * Taming Targets: Only baby cave bears. Parents cannot be tamed. * Procedure: * Separate the baby from its parent (or remove the parent). Removing the parent can be dangerous, as they can be very aggressive and high-level. * Feed baby cave bears special food (e.g., certain berries or kibble). Because they have a habit of growing dependently on their parents, taming requires the death of their parents for a certain period of time (targeting a time when they are grieving) or the use of an item with a very powerful calming effect. * After taming, grow them and use them as a fighting force. Performance and Role (After Taming) 1. Transformation * Quadrupedal (Gathering Specialization): * Fast movement speed. * Meat Gathering Specialization: Can harvest large amounts of marbled meat, especially from defeated creatures. * Harvesting Amount Bonus: Can also harvest above-average amounts of regular meat and hide. * Bipedal (Combat Specialization): * Increased attack and defense power (stacks with the howl buff). * Wider attack range. * Skin/Fur Gathering Specialization: Can harvest large amounts of hide and fur from defeated creatures. * Cave Exploration: Strong in cave terrain and high combat ability, making them well-suited for cave exploration. 2. Special Ability (Howl) * Tactical Buff/Debuff: They can use howls just like in the wild. In PVP and boss battles, they play an important role in buffing and debuffing, temporarily reducing enemy strength while boosting the combat power of their allies and themselves. 3. Role Summary * Battle: Their bipedal walking and howl buffs/debuffs give them high combat ability. X-types, in particular, specialize in attack. * Gathering: Their quadrupedal walking allows them to efficiently harvest marbled meat, while their bipedal walking allows them to efficiently harvest hides and fur. * Cave: Their high combat ability allows them to wipe out enemies in caves, and they are well-suited to the terrain. * PVP (Player vs Player): Their howls cause a powerful demoralization debuff on hostile tamed creatures and survivors. Their tactical role is to temporarily halt enemy attacks and give their allies an advantage.
  12. Argentinosaurus - The Flaming Giant Overview | Item | Details | |---|---| | Habitat | Genesis Part 1: Volcano Biome (mainly around lava flows and craters) | | Classification | The world's largest dinosaur, the world's largest herbivorous dinosaur | | Size | Even larger than Titanosaurus, it is the largest creature in ARK history. | | Personality | Normally gentle and avoiding conflict with other creatures, its entire body glows like lava if attacked, becoming highly hostile. | | Role | Mass gathering (metal, obsidian), combat, PVP, transporting large creatures, tank (not hostile) | | Food after taming | Sweet Vegetable Cake only | | Movement Speed | Generally slow | Wild Characteristics and Abilities 1. Huge Size and Presence * Possessing a massive body size far surpassing that of Titanosaurus. Due to its enormous size, most creatures living in volcano biomes are not actively hostile towards Argentinosaurus. * Normally, it moves slowly and engages in herbivorous behavior. 2. Rage Glow and Combat Mode * When attacked, the skin on its entire body cracks and begins to emit a lava-like red light from within (Burning Fury). * While active, its attack power increases significantly and it is immune to the high temperatures and eruption damage of the volcano biome. * It ignores the target's hostility and mercilessly counterattacks all attackers. 3. Special Attacks and Harvesting Abilities * Neck Strike: It swings its long, massive neck down like a whip, attacking a wide area. This can deal great damage even to large carnivorous dinosaurs such as Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus. * Earth Tremor: It uses its massive body to stomp and impact the ground with its front legs. * Harvesting: Instantly destroys hard resource nodes like metal ore, obsidian, and stone, harvesting incredible amounts. * Building Destruction: Deals massive damage to metal and TEK structures, easily destroying them. * Intimidation Roar: Let out a loud roar, causing all nearby creatures to lose their fighting spirit (become unable to take any action for a certain period of time). This can be used to reset the hostility of wild creatures, but it also has a temporary effect on tamed creatures. Tame Method (Special) To tame an Argentinosaurus, you must complete a special mission. Mission: "Defeat Argentinosaurus" * Force a fight against an alpha Argentinosaurus (or a high-level wild specimen) that appears in specific locations within the volcano biome (such as the edge of the crater) and reduce its health to a certain level (you do not need to defeat it). * As its health decreases, the Argentinosaurus will activate its "Burning Fury" ability and become fully hostile. * During this battle, perform certain mission-specific gimmicks (e.g., using surrounding volcanic eruptions to inflict special debuffs, or repeatedly attacking specific weak spots) to "tranquilize" the Argentinosaurus. * Once tranquilized, the Argentinosaurus will become immobile, and taming is complete when a Sweet Vegetable Cake is placed in its inventory (the survivor must approach it directly to feed it). Post-Tame Stats and Saddle 1. Basic Stats * Combat: Its necking and rumbling abilities remain intact even after taming, making its base destruction and resource gathering efficiency unmatched, especially in PVP. * Harvesting: Its rumbling ability produces the highest metal and obsidian gathering efficiency in the game. * Food: It only eats Sweet Vegetable Cake, requiring significant maintenance effort (balance adjustment). 2. Weaponized Saddle (Argentinosaurus War Saddle) * Can be equipped after taming. The saddle can be armed with multiple heavy machine guns and rocket launchers, allowing multiple crew members to participate in attack and defense in addition to the rider (similar to a platform saddle). 3. TEK Saddle (Argentinosaurus TEK Transport Bay) * This dedicated TEK saddle features a massive transport bay (transport room/hangar) on its back. * Incredible load capacity: This room can carry multiple large creatures, such as Tyrannosaurus, Mammoths, and Brontosaurus (e.g., three Tyrannosaurus and multiple medium-sized creatures). * Function: The bay functions as a cryopod, allowing you to safely store and transport stowed creatures even when logged out. This revolutionizes force projection and the movement of large creatures in PVP.
  13. Elasmotherium and X-Elasmotherium Concepts from Genesis Part 1 Elasmotherium Concept Ecology/Wild Species (Snow Biome) | Item | Details | |---|---| | Habitat | Forests and open snowy areas of the Genesis Part 1 Snowy Mountain Biome (Arctic). | | Pack Structure | **Travels in small packs consisting of one male (with horns) and two females (without horns). | | Personality | Contrary to their appearance, they are extremely ferocious carnivores in the wild.** They usually move slowly within their territory and have a narrow search range, but if a survivor or carnivore (small or medium-sized) enters their search range, they immediately become hostile and attack ferociously with the entire pack. They relentlessly pursue their target and do not easily give up, even if the target escapes. | | Characteristics | They deal double the normal damage to large carnivores, such as Giganotosaurus, due to their instinctive defensive response. The male leads the pack, while the females flank him. They maintain a consistent formation. | Taming Method (Special) | Item | Details | |---|---| | Taming Method | Non-violent taming. However, due to their aggressive nature in the wild, very special preparations are required. | | Procedure | 1. Attract the attention of the most wary male (with horns) in the pack with another herd member (such as a large herbivore). 2. While he is distracted, retrieve two females (without horns) in a cryopod. 3. The male becomes enraged by the female's absence, expanding his search range and becoming even more aggressive. 4. Drop a "female trace"** of a specific berry (e.g., mejoberry) to the male as an offering, then leave the area. 5. The moment the male begins eating the berries, he will briefly let his guard down, so approach him and hand him over to complete the tame. You cannot tame a male without bringing the female with you. After taming, release the female from the cryopod to form a pack. | Performance & Role (Standard Species) | Item | Male (with horns): Specialized in charging | Female (without horns): Specialized in defense | |---|---|---| | Role | Heavy attacker / Fast transport | Base defense / Tank / Support | | Common Attributes | Weight Reduction (90%): Super heavy transport ability that greatly reduces the weight of all resources. Cold Resistance: Grants a full cold resistance buff to survivors and saddled creatures in snowy mountain biomes. | | | Special Attacks | Freeze Charge: A long-range charge attack (charge-focused). It applies a freezing debuff to enemy creatures hit. Frozen enemies' movement speed and attack power are reduced for a certain period of time. | | | Performance Differences | Their attack power, movement speed, and charge speed are significantly higher than females'. Their charge charge time is also shorter. They are effective damage dealers against heavy bosses. | | | Performance Differences | Their health, defense, and stamina regeneration rate are higher than males'. Their melee attack range is wider than males', and they grant nearby tamed creatures an area buff that reduces damage taken (protective zone). | | | Saddles | Available in two types: standard and TEK. TEK saddles add the ability to project powerful freeze blasts. | | | Uses | Resource transport (weight reduction), intercepting large creatures and bosses (double damage), main attacker in PVP and PVE (charge-focused), and pack defense (protective). | | X-Elasmotherium (X-Elasmotherium) Concept Ecology/Wild Species (Volcano Biome) | Item | Details | |---|---| | Habitat | Lava zones and tropical regions of the Genesis Part 1 Volcano Biome. | | Pack Composition | **A pack of one male (with horns) and two females (without horns), with the same ecology as the standard species. | | Personality | Like the standard species, they are extremely aggressive.** Their search range is narrow, but they will become hostile if a survivor or carnivore enters. | | Characteristics | Their body is smaller and has less health than the standard species, but their attack power is high. Like the standard species, they deal double the damage to large carnivores. Their entire body is heated, constantly emitting heat (which causes minimal continuous damage) in the surrounding area. | Taming Method (Special) | Item | Details | |---|---| | Taming Method | A special non-violent taming (Passive Tame) similar to that of the standard species. (Use the male as a decoy, retrieve the female in a cryopod, and then hand the male her favorite food (e.g., kibble).) | Abilities/Roles (X-Species) | Item | Male (with horns): Specialized in charging | Female (without horns): Specialized in defense | |---|---|---| | Role | High-damage attacker / Fast transport | Firepower defense / Tank / Support | | Common Abilities | ・Weight Reduction (90%): Super heavy transport ability that greatly reduces the weight of all resources. ・Heat Resistance: Grants a complete heat resistance buff to survivors and saddled creatures in volcano biomes. | | | Special Attacks | Burning Charge: A long-range charge attack (charge-specific). It applies a burn debuff to enemy creatures hit. The burn inflicts continuous damage and additional damage for a certain period of time. | | | Performance Differences | Attack power, movement speed, and charge speed are significantly higher than females. It deals additional burn damage when charging through enemies. It has low health, but its single-hit damage is very powerful. | | | Performance Differences | Its health, defense, and stamina regeneration speed are higher than males. It inflicts additional burn damage with melee attacks, and when damaged, it has the ability to reflect damage by emitting a flame aura around it (heat zone). | | | Saddles | There are two types: standard saddles and TEK saddles. TEK saddles add the ability to shoot powerful flame rays over a wide area. | | | Uses | Resource transport (weight reduction), intercepting large creatures and bosses (double damage), main attacker in PVP/PVE (charge-specialized), activity in hot environments (heat resistance). | | Key Points * Roles: Males specialize in charge and speed, while females specialize in defense and support. Both can handle super heavy loads. * Environmental Adaptation: Standard species have cold resistance and a freezing debuff, while X-species have heat resistance and a burn debuff, making them essential for combat and activity in their respective biomes. * Taming: Specialized non-violent taming, which breaks up herds and exploits the males' desire for females, is the key to recruiting formidable wild species. * Combat Strength: Both species deal overwhelming double damage to large carnivores (such as Giganotosaurus), making them key players in high-level battles.
  14. We'll generate a Valenictus concept based on your provided criteria. Valenictus - A Friendly Herd of Ancient Walruses Overview Valenictus is an ancient walrus whose thick skin and friendly nature make it a valuable resource for survivors. They primarily live in packs and inhabit the deep ocean biome (Genesis 1) or snowy mountain biome (X-species). Wild * Habits: * Standard species: On land and in shallow water in the deep ocean biome in Genesis 1. * X-species: On land and in shallow water in the snowy mountain biome in Genesis 1. * Behavior: They live in packs and are very friendly and gentle. They generally do not attack survivors or other creatures. * Diet: They prey on small fish, such as coelacanths, on land or in water. * Defensive Response: They only retaliate with their tusks if attacked by a survivor or a carnivore. * Male (Long Fangs): Powerful attacks with damage reduction, piercing, and defense-lowering effects. * Female (Short Fangs): Attacks with heavy bleeding and defense-lowering effects. * Special Features: Their thick skin constantly increases their defense and greatly reduces damage taken. They are also completely immune to electric attacks from creatures like Cnidaria and Electrophorus. Taming Method (Special) Valenictus are sociable, so they require taming by trust, which differs from standard stunning or non-violent taming. * Feeding: Prepare a large amount of fish that Valenictus prefers (e.g., high-quality fish meat). * Leader Selection: Approach a school of wild Valenictus and continually feed fish meat to the school leader (the largest male). * Earning Trust: While feeding Valenictus fish meat, protect its surroundings (by eliminating other carnivores, for example) to build up Valenictus's trust meter. Attacking the leader or endangering the pack will lower their trust and turn the entire pack hostile. * Pack Acceptance: When the leader's trust reaches maximum, they will accept the survivor as a member of the pack, completing the tame. Tamed Valenictus will consider the survivor to be the pack leader. Abilities & Roles | Item | Details | Roles | |---|---|---| | Combat | Special fang attack (Male: Damage penetration & Defense reduction, Female: Heavy bleeding & Defense reduction). High durability due to thick skin. | High durability tank/applies special debuffs | | Movement Speed | Very fast in water. Very slow on land. | High-speed underwater movement/underwater cave exploration | | Resistances | Immune to electric shock attacks from Cnidaria and Electrophorus. Thick skin greatly reduces damage and constantly increases defense. | Countermeasure against dangerous underwater creatures/General-purpose endurance | | Survivor Benefit | Grants mounted survivors cold and heat resistance. | Environmental Resistance Support | | Carrying | Taking advantage of their pack-like nature, multiple Valenictus can coordinate to carry large loads (pack bonus increases carrying capacity). | Carrying large quantities of supplies | | Saddle | Available in both standard and TEK saddles. TEK saddles have features useful for underwater travel and combat (e.g., sonar, underwater oxygen supply). | General-purpose use/Advanced underwater activities | X-species Characteristics * Design: Their fangs are designed to be as transparent as ice. Their fur is also tinged with snow-white or blue. * Stats: Their health is lower than the standard species, but their attack power is significantly higher. Their fang attacks, in particular, have a more powerful defense-lowering effect. * Role: Rather than a highly durable tank, their role is emphasized as a high-damage attacker and a combat unit specialized in debuffs.
  15. 🦑 Proteroctopus Vampyronassa Lunaris 🦑 "Vampiric Octopus of the Lunar Dawn" Era: Early Cretaceous Diet: Specialized carnivore Temperament: Territorial, curious, and intelligent Primary Biome: Marine Size: Approximately similar to a Helicoprion 📜 Explorer’s Log – Helena Walker “Although the genus Proteroctopus was believed to have gone extinct during the Jurassic, the Genesis ARK simulation systems seem to have recreated a genetically altered version: Proteroctopus Vampironassa Lunaris. It is a biological paradox: a predator that shines like a star, yet seems hypnotized by the reflection of pearls. Its adapted to swiming on the Iunar biome, maybe the name its also for that. I have discovered that its favorite food consists of shelled creatures, and it appears to enjoy draining the blood of creatures similar in size or larger than itself. Some claim it collects the crystalline residue left by the Phoenix as if they were treasures. Perhaps its obsession is not with the material itself, but with the light it reflects.” ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ⚙️ Behavior Proteroctopus Vampyronassa Lunaris is a highly adaptable cephalopod, capable of briefly moving on the surface or swimming in space. Out of water, it crawls using its tentacles, surprisingly adopting a semi-bipedal stance when stationary on land, similar to an alert posture. When equipped with Tek armor, it uses this posture to move on land as if walking. It cannot stay hydrated outside water or in the lunar biome; once its oxygen supply runs out, it will gradually lose health. In volcanic zones, survival is impossible, as heat rapidly depletes its hydration—but this changes if a Tek saddle is used. The armor keeps it hydrated at the cost of consuming Element. In swamp biomes, being a humid environment, it seems well-adapted; although it can only crawl, it can survive due to constant hydration. Extremely curious by nature, it shows a strong attraction to black and white pearls, which it seems to perceive as a form of “vital light.” ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BASIC SADDLE: * Unlock Level 40 * Does not provide oxygen to the rider or hydration to the creature out of water. The rider must use an oxygen tank or risk drowning when submerged. Tek Saddle (Oxygen-Hydration-Propulsion): Provides unlimited oxygen to the rider (“Scuba Tank”) and constant hydration to the Proteroctopus (“Hydrated”) by consuming Element. * Allows survival in all biomes, as it provides constant hydration. * Its hydraulic propulsion system reinforces the tentacles, granting better mobility on land, in a bipedal manner (using the same alert stance it adopts out of water) with a speed similar to an Allosaurus. * In hot environments, like volcanic biomes, Element consumption increases due to extreme heat, but survival is still possible. Note: While some creatures have both a regular and Tek variant, in my opinion, they do not provide sufficient incentive to be crafted or used. This creature’s Tek saddle enhances and multiplies its capabilities. 🌀 Abilities and Attacks - Rhythmic Whip: Performs six consecutive strikes with high DPS and Torpor. (Left-click) - Grab: Holds the target for 5 seconds, then slows them (“Injured”). Can carry up to 2 small creatures or players simultaneously, both allies and enemies, and strike or throw them (like the Karkinos, but for smaller creatures). (Left Ctrl + Left Click / Left Ctrl + Right Click) - Shell Breaker: Holds medium or large creatures for 5 seconds, performs 3 hits causing bleeding and filling blood packs (“Bleeding”) Synergy to tame the bloodstalker. Cooldown: 45 s. (Right-click) - Abyssal Ink: Blinds enemies for 10 seconds in aquatic or lunar environments (“Squid Ink”). On land, leaves a narcotic puddle that can be harvested as a resource. Cooldown: 60 s. (Shift + Left-click) - Multi-Directional Boost: Performs a single directional boost underwater or in the lunar biome, providing high mobility in any direction. Cooldown: 20 s. Tek saddle increases to 3 boosts (Hyperdrive?). On land with Tek saddle, only a short jump due to G-force. (Space) - Mimetic Camouflage: Grants partial invisibility (“Camo”). (Shift + Right-click) - Adaptive Bioluminescence: Body glows. Can be activated with the “Clap” gesture (“FlashBang’d”) - Universal Adhesion: In aquatic or lunar environments, can alternate between free swimming or sticking to surfaces and moving along them (“Climbing”). On land, due to G-force, its default movement is limited to ground or walls, not ceilings; with Tek armor (“Hydrated”), it can move bipedally and alternate as in other biomes. (C) ⚔️ Utility and Roles - Exploration & Stealth: Excellent mobility in water or lunar biomes, with camouflage and area control. Enhanced with Tek saddle. - Manipulation: Can operate two tools (like a pickaxe) to gather resources (similar to a Mantis) or hold two small creatures or players simultaneously (like a Karkinos but smaller criatures). - Specialized Gathering: Collects black/white pearls, ammonite bile, keratin, and crystal. Also collects crystalline Phoenix residue treated as pearls (like Pegomastax/Gacha). Weight Reduction: -50% on pearls, ammonite bile, keratin, and crystal. * With Tek saddle: additional -15% on stone, flint, metal, obsidian, and Element dust. - PvP: Exceptional control and mobility underwater or in lunar biomes; limited efficiency on land. Enhanced with Tek saddle. - PvE: Ideal for exploration, resource gathering, and advanced acquisition in aquatic or lunar environments. 🧠 Taming Method: Passive. The Proteroctopus must be distracted with black or white pearls to lure it away from its nest. While distracted, the survivor can infiltrate its cave, collect its eggs, and escape undetected. The type and amount of pearls offered determine how long it remains distracted. Extremely perceptive; any sudden movement or detection will trigger hostility. Its bioluminescence or camouflage indicates its state: invisible means alert, glowing while feeding on pearls means distracted — the perfect moment to steal the eggs. 16. Stomatosuchus Concept Overview Stomatosuchus is a giant, neutral crocodile characterized by its enormous mouth. It inhabits swamp biomes, and its unique ecology and taming methods offer new strategies for survivors. Wild * Nature: Neutral. It will not attack unless provoked, but will threaten if you enter its territory. * Appearance and Habitat: * Standard: Primarily found in the swamps and waterside areas of the swamp biome in Genesis Part 1. Its dark green skin is covered in mud and algae, and it often lurks silently on the surface. * X Species (Stomatosuchus-X): Found in the lava-filled and tropical areas of the volcano biome in Genesis Part 1. It has low health but high attack power. Its body is black, rocky, and has a lava-like design, with fissures emitting red and orange light reminiscent of magma. * Attacks: * Swallow Attack: It will charge forward with its mouth wide open and instantly swallow a survivor or medium-sized creature (such as a Raptor or Dilophosaurus). The swallowed creature will take damage every few seconds, and will be spit out once the Stomatosuchus has taken damage or the time has passed. * Bite: It will bite like a normal crocodile. Taming Method (Special) Taming a Stomatosuchus is a special non-violent method that takes advantage of its distinctive large mouth. * Food Preparation: Prepare multiple pieces of special kibble or specific fish meat, which are Stomatosuchus's favorite foods. * Entering the Mouth: When a Stomatosuchus launches a swallow attack, the survivor must be swallowed whole. To trigger a swallow attack, you must increase the Stomatosuchus's vigilance and move within its attack range. * Internal Feeding: After being swallowed whole, feed the Stomatosuchus directly from your inventory while inside its mouth (or its special stomach area). * Escape and Re-enter: Feeding the survivor will cause the Stomatosuchus to spit out the survivor. This "sucked → fed → spit out" process will be repeated until the taming gauge is filled. * Dangers: While being swallowed whole, the survivor will continue to take damage, so managing their health is important. Also, staying in the mouth for too long risks instant death. Feature and Role | Item | Feature and Role | |---|---| | Role | Capture and neutralize medium-sized creatures, transport resources (from water sources), and special fishing. | | Saddle Function | Can seat two people. The survivor in the back seat can manage and process the creatures captured in the mouth. | | Swallowing Attack | It can capture and restrain medium-sized creatures (such as raptors and castroides) in its mouth. The captured creature will be immobilized for a certain period of time, which is useful for neutralizing tamed dinosaurs and hostile creatures. Survivors can choose to either spit out the captured creature or consume it (instant death). | | Capturing Live Fish | As an active skill, it can capture live fish such as coelacanths and salmon without harming them and store them in its mouth inventory. This is extremely useful for taming fish or for other purposes that require live fish. | | Underwater Movement | Its fast underwater movement speed makes it suitable for traveling and fighting in swamps and shallow waters. | | X-Species Characteristics | Its high attack power makes it a powerful attacker, instantly consuming and disposing of creatures captured with the Swallowing Attack. | Summary The Stomatosuchus is a versatile creature, utilizing its huge mouth for combat, taming, and resource gathering (fishing). They are particularly useful for controlling the front lines by restraining hostile medium-sized creatures, and as specialized fishing boats for retrieving live fish.
  17. Based on your requests, we've detailed the characteristics, taming methods, stats, and role of Agriarctos, the ancient panda found in the Bog Biome in Genesis Part 1. Agriarctos: Concept Details Creature Overview * Species Name: Agriarctos * Classification: Ancient panda (ancestor of the extinct bear family) * Habitat: Genesis Part 1 Bog Biome * Characteristics: It is slightly smaller than the Dire Bear. Its black and white fur makes it stand out against the greenery of the swamp, but its gentle nature often leads people to view it as less dangerous. 1. Wild Life * Personality: Passive. It usually feeds on fibrous plants and mushrooms deep in the swamp and is rarely aggressive toward survivors or other creatures. * Behavior: It moves by somersaulting and occasionally sits down in a relaxed manner. * Enrage Mode: When attacked, Agriarctos will suddenly go into Enrage Mode. In this state, its movement speed and attack power will increase dramatically, and it will aggressively pursue its target. Enrage Mode lasts for approximately 30 seconds, and it will return to its gentle state once the target is defeated or the duration expires. It is a tricky opponent in swamp biomes, luring survivors into letting their guard down. 2. Taming Method (Special Taming) * Taming Method: Passive taming, special method. * Taming Bait: Fiber only. * Steps: * Approach Agriarctos and feed it any fiber you have in your inventory. * After consuming the fiber, Agriarctos will sit back, appearing euphoric. * While taming is progressing, you must protect it from attacks by nearby enemies and survivors. * If Agriarctos goes Enrage after being attacked, the taming gauge will reset and the taming will fail. During this time, the food and time provided will be wasted. * Continue to feed it fiber at regular intervals until the taming gauge is full. 3. Stats and Role Agriarctos is a versatile partner that excels in combat, gathering, and survivor support. | Stats Category | Features | Details | |---|---|---| | Fiber Gathering | Mass Fiber Gathering | By "biting" into swamp grass, it gathers fiber with far greater efficiency and quantity than normal creatures. Ideal for clearing large amounts of fiber from swamp biomes. | | Combat | Rage Assault | Even after taming, it can enter **Enrage Mode** by being "attacked" or by a survivor entering the special command. While in Enrage Mode, its attack power and movement speed increase significantly, temporarily surpassing that of a Dire Bear. However, the Enrage Mode cooldown is longer. | | Movement | Rolling Dash | Instead of walking, Agriarctos moves by rolling. This movement has a moderate speed on flat ground, but its speed does not drop easily in water or rough terrain in swamps. A special command is also available to perform a "Rolling Dash," which allows for a short, high-speed roll. | | Survivor Support | Soothing Embrace | Provides a small stamina regeneration boost and a buff that slows the rate at which survivors' Torpor buildup occurs. This buff provides defense against surprise attacks from dangerous creatures in swamp biomes (such as Kaprosuchus). | | Saddle | Armored Saddle | Agriarctos's dedicated saddle is armored with materials adapted to the swamp environment (wood, fiber, metal, etc.) and slightly increases the defensive capabilities of mounted survivors. It also features a small storage compartment. | 4. Swamp Scenarios Agriarctos is an essential creature for improving the quality of life in swamp biomes. * Movement: Its somersaults allow for stable movement in swamps. * Material Gathering: It secures a vast amount of fiber, providing a base for survivors to craft large quantities of textiles and consumables. * Emergency Defense: Despite its gentle appearance, its explosive "rage attack" when attacked reliably protects survivors from dangerous predators such as Kaprosuchus and Baryonyx. The contrast between its gentle and adorable appearance and its ferocious combat ability makes it an attractive partner for survivors.
  18. Karlraubenheimeri Concept Species Name: Karlraubenheimeri Nickname: Ambush Crab Habitat * Standard: Genesis 1 Swamp Biome (mainly found on the ground in swamps or in shallow mud) * X Species: Genesis 1 Deep Sea Biome (ocean floor, or deep sea land or rocky areas. Low health and high attack power) Wild This giant-shelled crab usually buries its body completely underground or in the mud, exposing only the small eyes and antennae on the top of its head to ambush prey. At first glance, it appears to be just a rock or a bump in the ground. When prey approaches, it swings its enormous claws with great force to attack. These claws are so powerful that they can immobilize even large creatures like Paraceratherium and Spinosaurus. While restrained, they continuously damage the captured creature and inflict powerful debuffs such as bleeding, reduced healing, and stamina reduction. <Special Behaviors> * They can climb the walls of swamp and deep ocean biomes to move. * They can also swim underwater. Taming Method (Special) Method: "Ambush Taming" * Baiting: Place the carcass of a specific large creature (e.g., Paraceratherium, Mammoth, etc.) near the Karlraubenheimeri's hiding spot as a decoy. * Tempting to Release: When approaching the carcass, Karlraubenheimeri will emerge from the ground, grab the carcass with its claws, and begin devouring it. * Attacking Weak Spots: While restrained or devouring, their attention is focused on their giant claws, exposing their backs and gaps in the carapace, triggering an attack that will temporarily render them unconscious. * Slumber: Use tranquilizer arrows or tranquilizer bullets to inflict a certain amount of damage on exposed weak spots, putting them into a coma. * Feeding: After slumping, feed them their favorite food (e.g., premium kibble or the meat of a giant creature) to complete the taming process. * Failure Condition: If slumping takes too long, they will finish eating the carcass and return to hiding, resetting the taming process. Abilities/Roles | Item | Details | |---|---| | Role | Base, Combat (including boss battles), Movement (wall climbing, underwater movement) | | Combat | [Restraint and Debuff Specialist] | | | 1. Pincer Restraint: Use giant pincers to restrain medium to large creatures for extended periods of time, preventing them from moving or attacking. | | | 2. Debuff Inflict: Inflict powerful debuffs (bleeding, reduced healing, reduced stamina) on restrained enemies. Especially in boss battles, it has a significant impact on the boss's recovery ability and stamina, giving you an advantage in battle. | | | 3. X-type: Although they have low stamina, they act as "glass cannon"-like attackers with high attack power and debuff effects, excelling at concentrating firepower in short periods of time. | | Movement | 1. Wall Movement: They can cling to vertical walls and ceilings and move around. This is useful for exploring the complex terrain of swamps and deep seas, and for emergency escapes from enemies. | | | 2. Underwater Movement: They also have fast swimming speeds underwater, making them excellent bases of operations in deep sea biomes. | | Bases | 1. Platform Saddle: A saddle that allows you to install small buildings on its back. This allows you to set up temporary, safe platforms and gathering stations in the dangerous environments of swamps and deep seas. | | | 2. TEK Platform Saddle: A saddle that allows you to install advanced TEK facilities (shields, turrets, etc.). It functions as a mobile combat fortress. |
  19. An ancient whale shark that inhabits deep-sea biomes. **Despite its enormous size, it has an extremely friendly and gentle disposition. Nature in the Wild Palaeorhincodon swims slowly through the deep ocean and does not actively harm other creatures. However, it occasionally opens its large mouth wide and powerfully sucks in the surrounding water. * Suck Action: Survivors and small creatures (such as coelacanths and megapiranhas) caught in this suction are sucked into the Palaeorhincodon's mouth. * Instant Ejection: Sucked-in creatures and survivors are spit out of the mouth unharmed within a few seconds (without taking damage). This is because they are filter feeders and do not target larger survivors or fish. * Plankton Generation: During this suck action, small clumps of plankton, a special resource, are temporarily generated around the Palaeorhincodon. * Plankton Collection: Defeating a wild Palaeorhincodon guarantees a large amount of plankton. Taming Method (Special) Palaeorhincodons are tamed not by feeding them directly, but through a special mini-game using a manta. * Friendly Approach: Approach a Palaeorhincodon while riding a manta and begin taming from the interact menu. * Mini-Game Start: Upon starting taming, you will climb onto the Palaeorhincodon's back and begin a special mini-game. * Cooperation with the Manta: In the mini-game, the mounted survivor must control the manta and continuously touch designated points on the Palaeorhincodon's back to avoid the swaying of the Palaeorhincodon as it swims and the approach of hostile creatures like sharks. This is like helping an ancient whale shark "clean up." * Success Condition: The taming gauge will increase if you continue to accurately touch the designated point with the Manta for a certain period of time. * Failure Condition: The taming gauge will decrease significantly if you are attacked by a hostile creature, are unable to touch within the specified time, or are thrown off by the Palaeorhincodon when it makes a sharp turn. * Taming Complete: Taming is complete when you complete a mini-game using the Manta and the taming gauge reaches its maximum. No regular food is required. Post-Taming Performance and Role 1. "Water Purification" Ability (Utility) * Easy Water Supply: By riding a Palaeorhincodon and keeping empty bottles (such as water bottles or skin water bottles) in your inventory, all bottles will automatically become "filled" whenever you use the water intake action. * Emergency Oxygen Supply: The intake action can be used both underwater and near the surface. 2. Plankton Gathering (Resource Gathering) * Securing Exclusive Resources: When a tamed Palaeorhincodon uses the Inhale action, plankton is generated around it and automatically collected in its inventory. * Effect on Marine Life: This plankton acts as special bait to significantly increase the taming meter of certain marine life (e.g., Basilosaurus, Tusoteuthis, etc.). 3. Armed Saddle (Combat Support) * Special Saddle: The Palaeorhincodon's specialized saddle can be designed as an armament platform to match its massive size. * Multi-Seater: Multiple survivors can ride on its massive back, safely firing from turrets, ballistae, and other weapons mounted on the saddle. 4. Effects on Marine Life (Passive Buff/Debuff) * Non-Hostile Buff: The Palaeorhincodon's gentle pheromone effect makes most hostile marine life (e.g., Megalodons, Mosasaurus, Ichthyosaurus X, etc.) immune to attack while mounted (with the exception of some boss-level or aggressive creatures). This allows for safe exploration of the deep sea. 5. Reduced Oxygen Consumption (Exploration Assistance) * Oxygen Buff: Survivors riding a Palaeorhincodon receive a continuous buff that significantly reduces oxygen consumption. This dramatically extends their time in the deep sea. In Short: While the Palaeorhincodon lacks combat ability, its unique suction ability and passive effect make it an extremely useful marine life, dramatically changing the exploration and resource gathering of the Genesis 1 deep sea biome.
  20. Megalochoerus Concept Creature Name: Megalochoerus Classification * Species: Ancient Boar * Diet: Omnivorous (prefers plants, insects, carrion, and unfertilized eggs) * Size: Approximately twice the size of Daedon Wild Life and Behavior * Habitat: Widely distributed in the swamp biome of ARK: Genesis Part 1. * Temperament: Extremely aggressive. They are highly territorial and aggressive, aggressively attacking any creature that comes into their sight, regardless of whether it's a survivor or a small, medium, or large creature. * Attack Pattern: * Bite: Standard attack. * Charge: Their specialty attack. They charge in a straight line at high speed, knocking back survivors and small and medium creatures they hit and stunning them for a short time. The charge destroys obstacles such as terrain, trees, and rocks as they move forward. * Special Resistance: Due to its thick skin and unique physiological structure, it has extremely high resistance to sleep. It is completely immune to sleep-inducing attacks (such as poison) from creatures like Titanoboa. Tame Method (Special) * Taming Type: Knockout Taming (Special Food Requirement) * Required Food: Fertilized Eggs only. * Megalochoerus prefers the rich nutrients and special components found in fertilized eggs, so taming with other foods or regular Kibble will not progress. * Taming efficiency depends on the rarity of the egg (e.g., unfertilized Rex eggs are more effective than unfertilized Dodo eggs). * Sleep Management: Due to its high sleep resistance, it is relatively difficult to sleep. However, once sleep-inducing, the sleep value decreases at a normal rate during taming. Tamed Stats and Roles | Role | Description | |---|---| | Combat | Its high stamina and the stun effect of its charge make it effective against both creatures and humans. Its immunity to sleep makes it particularly advantageous in battles in swamps and against enemies that use poison. | | Movement | It is fast and can jump. It can quickly move through the complex terrain of swamps and eliminate obstacles with its charge. | | Material Gathering | Its charge attack destroys trees, rocks, and metal rocks, efficiently gathering wood, stone, straw, and metal. It also produces a high yield. | Detailed Stats: * Riding: It can be ridden by equipping a special armored saddle. The saddle is reinforced with iron and composite materials, providing protection for the rider. * Charge Attack: It can perform a charge attack, just like in the wild. * Effect: Knocks back and stuns targets hit. * Gathering Effect: When it encounters trees or rocks while charging, it destroys them and gathers resources (wood, stone, straw, metal, etc.). * Trait: While charging, its movement speed increases significantly, but its turning ability decreases. * Physical Ability: It has high jumping power. This allows it to overcome steps and small cliffs, improving its ability to move around and escape in swamps. * Special Defense: It retains Torpor Immunity even after taming. It completely protects against attacks that inflict coma, such as Titanoboa's poison and Carnotaurus and Baryonyx's stun. * Weight Limit: It has a high weight reduction bonus for gathered wood and stone, making it useful for transporting large amounts of materials.
  21. IRL : the Lamarck mink, modified version of the extinct sea mink (Neogale macrodon) is a close relative of the american mink (Neogale vison) and part of the mustelidae family (mink, weasel, badger, otter,...). It disappeared very recently (XIXth century), was under a meter long and changed its alimentation over the seasons. In ARK : the idea is to have an additional creature that will not break the repartition balance of the tameables over the genesis biomes while profiting of the “adaptable” aspect of the original mink. To do it, I propose a creature found and adapted in any biomes. The idea will be to have 5 different morphs with correlated abilities, tamed Lamarck minks will be able to change their morphotype in the corresponding biome with the action wheel (if the creature is outside Genesis part 1, we can change the related biomes to keep this ability, tell me if you have better idea). RIDEABLE : yes BREEDABLE : yes BEHAVIOR : territorial TAMING METHOD : passive : the taming will implies the use of the teleportation device of genesis part 1 (Lamarck minks will be able to travel through it even if not tamed), if teleported in another biome the Lamarck mink will enter a morphing animation, in the said animation, you can interact with it by petting it, the animal will rapidly consume the food in the last slot of your inventory bar. The food will depend of the arrival biome. the taming will indeed be in 5 times since each biome has to be visited, once you finish feeding the Lamarck mink in a biome, he will follow you in a neutral state for 10min allowing you to teleport in another one. Taming food: -bog : chitin -ocean : angler gel -arctic : raw prime meat -volcanic : sulfur -lunar : scrap metal Exemple: Abilities: -Bog: The Lamarck mink will be able to climb on vertical surfaces and launch pounce attacks from the ground and the heights; these pounces can also be used for traveling through bog’s trees with ease. -Ocean: The Lamarck mink will be able to swim at high speed, have a 10x oxygen consumption reduction and be able to perform a dash attack while underwater, this dash attack can be used to jump out of the water. The mink will attach to the first target hit by this dash and bite it in deinonychus style. -Arctic: After a kill, the Lamarck mink can sniff the corpse and then the scent will give the location of the nearest creatures of the same species, the sniffing ability give a 25% damage boost on the target. Also, this Lamarck mink will give a 50% visibility range reduction to itself and its rider (similar to ghillie). -Volcanic: The volcanic variant will have a chance to inflict bleeding on every bite it lands on a target, also, he will be able to run backward at 90% of its regular running speed. Finally, the Lamarck mink will be able to bury itself and travel underground while recovering health quickly with the malus of higher food consumption. -Lunar: The Lamarck mink possesses a carbon fiber mane which it can deploy at the cost of the stamina, the deployed mane gives 80% damage reduction from melee damage and reflects projectiles in the cursor direction. Stats: Health: 450 Stamina: 250 Oxygen: 500 Food: 1200 Weight: 300 Damage: 35 Inspirations: The idea behind this concept is in the name, Jean-Baptiste de Lamarck was a French naturalist who developed before Darwin the concept of species evolving from a form to another (the transformist theory). Transformism defines that organisms, through their behavior, will slowly change their shape to fit their environment (which is totally how our Lamarck mink works). We used to mock him in the post-darwinian era since darwinism theorised evolution to be a selection by the environment which is more fitting. But recently, through the epigenetic (phenomenon around genes), we gave to the transformist theory some awards since our behavior indeed has an impact on our genes and our descendants. And indeed each of Lamarck mink morphotypes are inspired by different mustelidae with the arctic one being the stoat (Mustela erminea) modifying their fur color from brown to white in winter, this “coating” ability is the basis for the whole concept of this creature and the furtive aspect of the arctic form. The ocean one is obviously inspired by otters and more precisely giant otters (Pteronura brasiliensis) which are known to be territorial to even fight crocodiles. Finally the volcanic one is inspired by the ratel (Mellivora capensis) which is the only mammal (Humans apart) able to run backward. Feel free to give your opinions or advice. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I will also add in this section all the submission with under around 40 upvotes that i found interesting: -Megalictis dirus, also a mustelidae, a prehistoric wolverine. Live in the snow biome, can go berserk and roll like a snow ball on their ennemies. -Shooter mantis shrimp: a shoulder pet which can be used as mega punch, allowing you to do big damage and stun your target , a nice underwater addition. -Cricosaurus: an underwater reptile with a high speed, dash attack and high fish meat farming rates, the creature have a baskit minigame giving you reward by the number of fish you farmed in a row. -Necronectes: a big crab, not found naturally, you have to collect artifact to make it alive again, you will win a powerfull armor breaker and support -Mastodonsaurus: a crocodile like amphibian, being a ambush predator you will be able to gather ressource to cover up your mastodonsaurus, making the second jumpscare buddy after the kapro. -Tarchia : a oily ankylosaur, using mud to counter flame creatures and buff its allies -Dakosaurus: a massive archosaur with a big sexual dimorphism, females are bigger/stonger, need to tame a male before geting one. Both males and females are stronger in the deep of the ocean: -Electrorana: One of my favorite, a frog shoulder pet able to cover itself and you in a mucus/sap ball allowing you to roll and bounce on the map gathering junk and small creatures. It can electrocute creatures trapped in its mucus ball. -Warrah: almost the same project than Lamarck mink, an mammal having diferent abilities depending of the biome, biome variant don't get well together
  22. Introducing the Megataco (Tuzoia megataco), your loyal armoured aquatic arthropod. Wild: Tuzoia megataco is one of the ocean’s most elusive arthropods. Difficult to spot in the dim light of the deep, its iridescent, reflective shell makes it appear as little more than a shimmer in the darkness. These creatures spend their days scavenging the ocean floor, feeding on decaying chitin and spoiled meat that few others dare to touch. When approached, Megataco closes and hides in its shell, which is covered in spines coated in neurotoxic venom. Physical attackers find themselves both injured and slowed by this potent toxin, while the creature’s reflective armour deflects part of the incoming damage. Should that fail, Megataco ejects a dense ink cloud and uses its broad, finned tail to jet away in an instant. Despite its shy nature, Megataco exhibits remarkable intelligence and curiosity. Survivors have reported the creatures cautiously observing them from the shadows - studying their movements as though trying to understand who, or what, they are. Tamed: Once tamed, Megataco proves to be one of the most loyal and versatile aquatic companions a survivor could hope for. These intelligent arthropods form a strong bond with their keeper, instinctively clinging to the survivor’s back when commanded. In this position, Megataco provides immediate protection beneath the waves! Its reflective carapace acting as a living shield against predators and its neurotoxic spines deterring close-range attackers. While attached, survivors move through the water with surprising grace, aided by the rhythmic flicks of Megataco’s powerful tail. Oxygen consumption slows dramatically due to the creature’s natural filtration membrane. Any worn scuba gear is protected from wear and tear too. Its reflective shell also seems to distort how wild creatures perceive the survivor, making them harder to spot. Megataco is a low-maintenance ally, thriving on a diet of chitin and spoiled meat. In return, it passively excretes valuable resources such as oil and silica pearls, making it a perfect companion for deep-sea explorers and resource gatherers alike. It can accompany survivors onto land for short periods, but it must periodically return to water or risk suffocation. Few creatures embody both protection and utility quite like Megataco. For those who brave the deep, a loyal Megataco on your back might just mean the difference between life and death. Supplemental Information: Taming Taming a Tuzoia megataco is a delicate process requiring caution and understanding of its shy nature. These intelligent arthropods are easily startled and will retreat into their armoured shells if approached. Before beginning, survivors should clear the surrounding area of hostile or noisy creatures. Even tamed companions can make the Megataco wary, greatly extending the time it remains hidden. Once the area is calm, approach slowly until the Megataco begins to peek out. When its eye stalks emerge and it waves its antennae, this is the signal that it is curious rather than threatened. At this point, gently drop chitin AND spoiled meat nearby and back away slightly. The Megataco will cautiously move toward the food and consume it from within the safety of its shell. After eating, it will pop-out again, take time to reassess its surroundings, before repeating the behaviour to see if it can get more food. Survivors must remain patient and observant - any sudden movements or nearby disturbances will cause the creature to close-up again, resetting its comfort level. Over time, consistent calmness and care will build trust, leading to full domestication. !BEWARE! Megataco is the favourite snack of the Tusoteuthis. In the wild, Megataco utilises its camouflage shell to hide itself from the powerful eyes of Tusoteuthis. But be warned! Once tamed and on a survivors back, Tusoteuthis have an easier time spotting Megataco. Once spotted, the Tusoteuthis will stop at nothing to get to the Megataco, inking anything that gets in its way. Then, using it’s strong and dexterous tentacles, the Tusoteuthis has no problem prying off the Megataco, and consuming it in seconds. Passive Abilities Neurotoxic Spines: Inflicts a brief slow and minor toxin effect on melee attackers. Oxygen Efficiency Aura: While attached to a survivor, reduces oxygen consumption rate. Shock-Absorber Shell: Incoming damage reduced and provides immunity to player from Electrophorus and Cnidaria electric attacks. Protects scuba gear from being damaged by attacks (if wearing). Reflective Damage: Automatically deflects a percentage of incoming melee damage back to attackers. Resource Production: Slowly generates Oil and Silica Pearls when fed a balanced diet of Chitin and Spoiled Meat. Camouflaged Carapace: When stationary, or slow moving, underwater, Megataco’s iridescent shell refracts light, reducing wild creature detection range. When on a Survivors Back: Water Jet Burst: A short, powerful tail-propelled launch forward while underwater - granting a burst of speed. Ink Cloud Escape: Releases a dense ink cloud, drastically reducing visibility and breaking creature aggro for several seconds. Surface Resilience: Can accompany survivors onto land and provide shell protection, but only temporarily before oxygen depletion begins and Megataco suffocates. Predator Alert: using its specialised eyes, Megataco can spot any large threats in the ocean and alert the survivor with clicks. Antennae point towards the threat. 23. Cave Lion Concept 1. Ecology and Behavior in the Wild * Habitat: * Standard: Found primarily in caves in the volcano biome of Genesis Part 1. Extremely heat-resistant. * Frost Lion: Found primarily in caves in the snowy mountain biome of Genesis Part 1. Extremely cold-resistant. * Pack Composition: * Cave Lions always travel in packs. * A pack consists of seven members: one high-level male (leader), three females, one low-level male, and two cubs. * The pack leader is larger than the other members and has a prominent erect head. * Hunting: * They excel at hunting in packs, working together to corner prey. * They are especially ferocious, attacking large creatures such as Tyrannosaurus Rex in packs. * Special Abilities (Wild): * Heat/Cold Resistance: Volcanic species can withstand scorching heat, while X species can withstand freezing cold. * Wall Climbing: Using their sharp claws, they can scale vertical walls and cave ceilings. * Excellent Jumping Ability: They have extremely high jumping ability, easily leaping over gaps in rocks and lava. * Lion's Roar (Leader): At the start of battle, the pack leader will let out a "Lion's Roar," temporarily increasing the attack and defense power of the entire pack. 2. Taming Method (Special): * Taming Targets: Only two cubs from a pack can be tamed. Adults cannot be tamed. * Taming Requirements: * You must find a cave lion pride and eliminate all adults. * If the adults are gone, the cubs will become passive and will assume the "Anxious Cave Lion Cubs" state. * In this state, you can tame the baby by **petting** it to complete the taming process without using any food. * The initial level after taming will be the same as the level it had in the wild. 3. Tamed Stats and Roles Common Stats (Volcano Species/X Species) * Resistances: * Standard Species: High heat resistance. * X Species: High cold resistance. * Movement/Exploration: * Claw Climb: Able to climb vertical walls, it excels at navigating caves and moving three-dimensionally. * Leap: Able to jump over very long distances and high steps. * Role: * Movement: A versatile mount with agile movement and three-dimensional movement. * Combat: An attacker that shines when organized into a pack. * Cave Rivalry: Utilizing its wall-climbing and jumping ability, it's ideal for navigating caves with complex terrain. It's especially suited to exploring caves in volcano biomes, where Magmasaurus eggs reside. Special Abilities (After Taming) * Pack Bond: * Tamed cave lions consisting of one male and two or more females form a "pack," granting the entire pack bonuses in attack power and damage resistance. * The male in the pack acts as the pack leader, and the bonus increases depending on the pack's size (number of females). * Lion's Roar: * A buff ability usable by the pack leader. * Greatly increases the attack power and movement speed of all nearby tamed allies (including those outside the pack) for a certain period of time. This is an extremely powerful support role in combat. * Primal Surge - Males only: * A temporary buff mode that can be activated when a special gauge fills during battle or after a cooldown. * The male's tresses turn a vibrant black, greatly increasing his attack power and reducing damage taken. * In the case of the X-species, the white standing hair turns black, creating a distinctive contrast. Additional Traits of the X-species (Frost Lion) * Design: A dignified lion-like figure, its entire body is pure white and its standing hair is beautiful. * Stats Tendency: Compared to the standard species, it has lower stamina but high attack power, making it a peaky attacker type.
  24. Purussaurus Concept Purussaurus, a gigantic ancient crocodile comparable to Sarcosuchus and Deinosuchus, dominates the swamps of the ARK. Despite its enormous size, it possesses incredible agility, making it a living anti-Titan weapon, targeting particularly large prey. Wildlife: Master of the Swamp * Habitat: * Purussaurus: Deep waters of the Bog Biome in Genesis Part 1. * Purussaurus X: Certain dangerous areas of the Ocean Biome in Genesis Part 1. * Nature: * An extremely ferocious and aggressive carnivore. It has a strong territorial instinct and will not hesitate to attack anything that comes into its sight, from small creatures to large creatures such as Tyrannosaurus and Spinosaurus. * At the start of a battle, it will first attempt to restrict its prey's movements with a powerful Death Roll. * It often lurks underwater, and may launch ambushes on surface creatures or survivors. Tame Method (Special): Madness Control Taming a Purussaurus is extremely dangerous due to its ferocity and large size. * Accumulation of Bleeding Effects: When reducing a Purussaurus's health, a "Madness Gauge" will build up each time certain conditions are met (e.g., hitting the head or dealing specific damage over time). * Weakened by Death Roll: When the gauge reaches a certain level, the Purussaurus will temporarily go berserk and launch a series of Death Roll attacks against nearby creatures. During these Death Rolls, its health and stamina will be greatly reduced, weakening it. * Taming Start: A weakened Purussaurus can be passively tamed by feeding it meat from prey caught in a Death Roll or special kibble. * Concept: Temporarily calming a ferocious crocodile by providing it with a satisfying prey. Performance and Abilities: Large Creature Hunter Common Abilities | Name | Effect | Notes | |---|---|---| | Death Roll (Special Attack) | Bites prey and spins at high speed, dealing massive damage. Inflicts bleeding and significantly reduces movement speed and stamina for a long period of time. | Against large creatures (such as Tyrannosaurus and Giganotosaurus), damage is doubled and debuff effects are enhanced. | | Tail Sweep (Normal Attack) | A sweeping attack with a massive tail across a wide area. Knocks back small creatures within range and dismounts them. | An attack designed to counter enemy swarms or the player's mobile tactics. | | Underwater Concealment | Completely submerges underwater, allowing for long periods of time without an oxygen gauge. Allows you to search for enemies with only your eyes slightly above the water's surface. | Movement speed in water is significantly faster than on land. | | Large Creature Detection (Passive) | Notifies survivors of the location of extra-large creatures (bosses, titans, etc.) and large creatures within a certain range. | After taming, it serves as combat support and scout. | X-type Purusaurus (Deep Sea/Volcano Biome) * Appearance: Ocean-like design, vibrant blue and white body coloring, and shiny black armor reminiscent of volcano biomes. * Stats: Low health but very high attack power. Death Roll's bleeding damage and debuff effects are more powerful. * Special Ability: Death Roll attacks apply the "Erosion" debuff. Ignores enemy armor (resistance) and reduces their health (but only for a short duration). Role: Mobile Warrior and Titan Killer | Role | Description | |---|---| | Combat (Large Creatures Specialized) | A killer specialized in large creatures, focusing on Death Rolls. Especially against high-HP, tough opponents, it has the ability to reliably whittle them down with double damage and bleeding/debuff effects. It is effective as a damage dealer in boss and Titan battles. | | Movement (Amphibious) | High mobility in both water and land. It is a superior means of transportation compared to other creatures when exploring and gathering materials in swamp and deep ocean biomes. It can also be used for surprise attacks and escapes by utilizing its underwater hiding ability. | | Underwater Escort | Acts as a counter to dangerous aquatic creatures (such as Mosasaurus and Tusoteuthis) in deep ocean biomes. It incapacitates opponents with Death Roll debuffs, ensuring safety. |
  25. Creature Concept: Bohlinia Overview Bohlinia is a neutral, giraffe-like herbivore with long horns. While generally docile, it will retaliate with powerful defensive moves if attacked by carnivores or survivors. Wild Habitat * Standard Bohlinia: Swamp biome in ARK: Genesis Part 1 * Can be found feeding on plants in swamps. * X-Bohlinia: Volcano biome in ARK: Genesis Part 1 * Bohlinia's body has a lava-like, glowing red pattern, making them more aggressive than the standard Bohlinia. Personality and Behavior * Neutral: Generally docile, they will not actively attack survivors or other creatures. * Defensive Movement: * When attacked by carnivores such as Utahraptors or Tyrannosaurus Rex, or survivors, they will launch a powerful counterattack. * Back Kick: Has a powerful knockback effect, greatly increases the target's stun value, and may briefly stun the target (approximately twice as effective as an Equus kick). * Necking: Uses its long neck like a hammer to slash at its surroundings, knocking back medium-sized creatures. * X-Bohlinia Traits: * Has lower HP than the standard Bohlinia, but possesses extremely powerful attacks. * Its attacks are accompanied by the heat of volcanic lava, further increasing knockback and stun effects compared to the standard Bohlinia. * Resting: It has the habit of periodically sitting down to rest. This behavior is key to taming. Taming Method: Special Hand-to-Hand Taming Bohlinia can only be tamed under special conditions, using non-violent hand-to-hand taming. * Preparation: Prepare a large amount of Sweet Vegetable Cake. * Wait to rest: Wait for a wild Bohlinia to sit and rest of its own accord. Taming cannot progress while Bohlinia is standing. * Hand: While Bohlinia is sitting, place a Sweet Vegetable Cake on the far right side of your inventory, then approach and hand it to her. * Post-feeding behavior: Once Bohlinia finishes eating the Sweet Vegetable Cake, the taming meter will fill up. * Pet: A prompt will appear just before or immediately after it finishes eating, so perform the **petting** action. This will determine the amount of taming meter fill. * Chase: After petting, Bohlinia will stand up and slowly begin to move away. The survivor must chase Bohlinia without aggression or letting it lose sight of them. * Resting again: Continue chasing Bohlinia until it sits down and rests of its own accord again. * Repeat: The cycle of "sit and rest → give Sweet Vegetable Cake → pet → stand and move → sit and rest" will be repeated. * Taming Complete: Taming is complete when the taming gauge reaches 100%. Notes * Taming Gauge Reset Conditions: * Bohlinia is attacked by another creature (such as a carnivore) and enters combat. * Survivors attack Bohlinia or engage in hostile behavior. * If the survivors are unable to chase Bohlinia for a long period of time before it sits and rests, and it becomes too far away (if they are unable to catch up within a certain amount of time). Tamed Abilities & Roles Mounted Abilities | Attacks/Actions | Effects | Roles/Uses | |---|---|---| | Neck Sweep (Necking) | A wide-area attack that knocks back medium-sized creatures and can dismount them. | Controls teamfights, divides enemies, and distracts mounted survivors. | | Hind Kick | A single-target attack with high stifle effect (twice that of Equus) and extremely destructive power. Easily destroys stone structures. | Stuns large creatures and destroys structures in raids (siege ability). | | Normal Attack | Low damage, but efficient for gathering berries and fiber. | Gathering food and resources. | | Sit (Special Command) | While mounted, you can voluntarily make Bohlinia sit. While seated, health and stamina regenerate at twice the normal rate. | Emergency recovery, resting in a safe zone. | Saddle Special Features Bohlinia saddles offer a combination of technology and practicality. | Functions | Features | Role/Use | |---|---|---| | Infrared Goggles | Head-mounted goggles highlight nearby creatures (wild or tamed), survivors, and machines (such as Tek structures) in infrared light. | Detect danger, search for enemies, ensure visibility at night or in poor visibility areas, and detect Tek traps. | | Horn Lights | High-intensity lights built into the horns can be turned on and off at night. Brightly illuminate a wide area. | Improve safety during nighttime activities and cave exploration. | | Helmet Functions | A protective helmet is attached to the head, increasing the damage of neck sweeping attacks by twice the normal amount and granting the additional effect of briefly stunning large creatures. | Increased firepower in combat and quick stun of large creatures (such as Giganotosaurus). | | Water Tank | A water tank built into the saddle allows you to refill your water bottle or jar at any time. | Keeps survivors hydrated during long explorations and in biomes with limited water sources (volcanoes, the moon). |
