Since we already have Spinosaurus and Baryonyx in the game, I did not see why we couldn't have the other well known member of the Spinosauridae family. Hopefully people will agree on my ideas that would make the Suchomimus unique compared to the many creatures that already exist in ARK. If you have any form criticism then don't be afraid to put it in the comments as long as they're not blatant hate or super aggressive. Real Life: Suchomimus tenerensis was a large theropod dinosaur closely related to the bigger Spinosaurus while living in the same time and place of Early Cretaceous Africa and even had a more Crocodilian-like snout compared to others of the Spinosauridae family. With the nostrils being somewhat close to the eyes as well as the mouth containing around 122 conical teeth it is safe to determine that Suchomimus was primarily a piscivore like its closest relatives. Wild: While not as agile as the Baryonyx nor as strong as the Spinosaurus, the Suchomimus is a true terror to the fish and other amphibious creatures that dwell in the rivers and oceans and are known to be extremely territorial to other terrestrial carnivores and won’t hesitate to even fight those that are larger than itself such as the Rex or Spino, and of course won’t think twice to kill a human. While humans are able to outrun a Suchomimus, it is never a good idea to go into a body of water, if it’s deep enough for the Suchomimus to swim in, you’re in trouble as it is extremely flexible in the water, able to quickly turn around in order to fight whatever was trying to hit it from its behind. Suchomimus is somewhat of a rare creature, only been seen living in the swamps, rivers, or even more rarely near the ocean. How to Tame: KO strategy, can only be tamed by using prime fish meat or Superior Kibble, but can eat other forms of meat after taming. Domesticated: While a domesticated Suchomimus is a very rare sight, those who managed to tame one use the creature as a small mobile fishing boat, while it’s not big enough to put a proper platform saddle on it, some survivors have made smaller, ‘micro’ platform saddles primarily used for carry fishing equipment, as well as having mounted fishing rods attached to the sides of the saddle, and with the enhanced abilities while swimming in the water, the Suchomimus can be used to travel into the open ocean or some large body of water as a living fishing boat as mentioned before. Primary Attacks: Can bite with its mouth and can use its claws to swipe at players or other dinosaurs, the bite does less damage than the compared to the claws but cost less stamina. Ability One: While not having a tail stun or infinite oxygen like the Baryonyx, the Suchomimus is able to perform as a radar of some sorts in the water, similar to the Parasaur, but instead of detecting hostile dinosaurs, it is used to detect any form of fish in a certain radius, while giving detail on their size and how much fish meat they’ll contain if killed, this can be used if the Suchomimus swimming in the water or simply just standing in the shallow end of a river or lake. (Would perform an animation where its mouth would open in the water if it was in shallow water.) This ability would cost a very small amount of stamina, however. Ability Two: Despite not being a more complicated ability like some other creatures, the Suchomimus will collect both more fish meat and prime fish meat compared to other tamed creatures as long as it’s from a fish, including Megalodon and Leedsichthys and will also perform bleed damage to the mentioned fish creatures, making it well suited on taking on swarms of Mantas or Sharks, but will cost a lot of stamina in the process. (Only the bit attack can perform bleed damage.) Weaknesses: On land the Suchomimus is somewhat sluggish, not as much as a Megalosaurus but definitely noticeable to the point that most would be able to easily run away from the creature such as Humans or even Parasaurs, not to mention that in the wild Suchomimus have poor stamina and somewhat mediocre stamina regeneration, making the dinosaur somewhat only useful in the water (stamina depletion is decreased if it is swimming in the said water.) Though thanks to its large health pool and decent damage, it is still able to handle itself against most carnivores such as Carnotaurus and even a pack of Allosaurus if the mentioned Suchomimus is a high enough level. So this is my entry for the official DLC for ARK survival evolved, Fjordur. This is the Anthropornis, a late Eocene Giant Penguin with elements of Emperor, Adele & Macaroni species. These giant penguins surpass the standard height of humans & can only be found in the coldest parts of Jotunheim or the Kairuku islands, found amongst Kairuku colonies as supersized neighbours. Hypothermic insulation Possessing a layer of thick blubber & specialised downy feathers, the Anthropornis are adapted to trapping heat in the extreme cold of Jotunheim. This also provides an external insulation towards the Survivor that rides it. Living toboggan Anthropornis have a plastron like layer on their stomachs, allowing them to slide across the ice & snow with ease. This is mainly used for fast paced travel as well as escaping from predators. Survivors would use this ability to travel in quick speed in the freezing cold. Snowball attacks Despite the bottom heavy build & flimsy nature of its flippers, the Anthropornis has the ability to roll up snowballs to the size of boulders. This attack increases in both speed, size & damage depending on the range & distance of deployment. Upon impact the snowball deals high damage as well as increase hypothermic status affliction to the Penguins target.

Common Name: Ichthyovenator Species: Ichthyovenator laosensis Time: Early Cretaceous Diet: Piscivorous Temperament: VERY agresive and territorial. Wild: The Ichthyovenator laosensis is a big piscivorous carnivore which is usually found in the long rivers of the ARK. Being from the same family as the Spinosaurus, it has very similar customs. It is the same or even more aggressive and this one attacks almost any marine animal while it is near the coast, also causes bleeding for few seconds. This large predator has the habit of sleeping at the night for short periods of time, being completely vulnerable. How to tame: To tame it, feed him with fish or marine hunter trophies while it rest. Tamed: This spinosaurid once domesticated can grab small dinosaurs or even people with the jaws. Also, he has the ability to swim at high speeds, hold the breath for long periods of time and gets a special buff every time he hunts any kind of fish. The survivors have developed techniques that help their mount to be even better, it can throw granades with a little bit more damage. Finally, it can be used as an automatic turret every time it rest, but, only fires 6 rounds in a row and then reloads automaticaly just like a simple pistol. Fjordur: It is hardly found in areas of the map such as lakes, rivers or coasts. It attacks anyone that comes close by facing almost everything including small, medium or even large marine animals.

Name: Tany Species: Tanystropheus conspicuus Time: Late Triassic Diet: Piscivore Temperament: Aggressive to any fish Well I imagine the Tany as a biological fishing rod, this means that if u leave it on the edge of the water it will generate the same items u get from fishing in it’s inventory also these creatures are not good swimmers so they walk under water like hippos, and require a special saddle to be ridden on land (you don’t need a saddle to ride it under water). it’s stats will be similar to the wolf (without the pack thing of course) and will have reduced weight on everything wile under water, also getting the same buff as the Spino when water is touched. for it’s attacks I imagine a simple bite for the left click a claw attack for the right click and under water u can jump using the space bar. Also I imagine it having the same taming method as the hesperornis. a very useful utility creature. FJORDUR: -Useful in any coastal area (rivers, beaches, lakes, etc). -Major fish and pearl farmer. -Mostly a mid to early late game tame OTHER MAPS: -Not only useful in FJORDUR but pretty mutch any map that contains medium to large water bodies (The Island, Ragnarok, The Center, Aberration, Extinction, Genesis, Genesis 2 and Crystal Isles)

Deinocheirus- The Clawed Warlord Name: Deinocherius Mirificus Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Omnivorous Temperament: Territorial Tameable: Yes Rideable: Yes Wild: An oddity amongst Arks prehistoric creatures, Deinocherius can be found across and along rivers and lakes. Closer towards mountainous regions and snowy biomes. They are sometimes even seen along coast lines and swamps. Found fishing, taking meat from predators or eating berries. Deinocherius isn’t picky in terms of food but very much excels at fishing, even fighting and hunting the fish of the deep. Trespassers in its domain it very much is. Seen fighting all sorts of carnivores, piscivores and even would be fishermen. Deinocherius may look kind and fluffy, but this murder duck will not tolerate competition, especially from the likes of the Spino. Domesticated: Once tamed, survivors are greeted with a powerful ally. Gaining a boost along rivers and waters, even gaining boosts against ocean life and larger theropods. When tamed, riders tend to find that Deinocherius is a ocean diver, similar to its Spino counterpart but slower. This is made up for its ability to float like a bird and stay above water. It is also found the when fishing with their Deinocherius buddies, they tend to save the best fish meat for their riders by storing it in their pouch like neck. While some tribes may see Deinocherius as a good War Mount, they would be surprised by its capabilities. It’s loud trumpeting call can cause weakness amongst their targets, even causing their mounts to lose faith in their riders. It’s larger claws are exceptionally efficient in slicing attackers. Combining this with their blunt beaks. Any rivals may want to rethink. Taming Process: Survivors need to locate their Deinocherius close to water before knocking out. Their bodies are heavily coated in oily feathers, best chances of knock out is its pouch. Fish is their preferred food but anything will suffice. Saddle: Deinocherius can be ridden bare-back but can hold a saddle. Saddle comes with 3 seats. One over its shoulders and the other two along both sides. The saddle would connect around the sail and its underside and over its head. Abilities: Basic Attacks- Bite (Can cause small amounts of torpor) Swipe Special Attacks- Roar. It’s roar can be used to nullify armours on saddled dinos and can weaken any imprinting buffs to almost nothing/negatives. Double Swipe- Both Claws rake down, causing bleed. Appearance: The Deinocherius would look something like this. Maybe a beak alteration. (My own sketch) Patterns could also be altered as well.
