  1. The main characteristics of Tyrannotitan. are When he consumes an element it's the same as the Ferox going from an adorable shoulder plushie to a gorilla on steroids. Tyrannotitan goes from being a generic dinosaur similar in size and statistics to an Allosaurus and a huge monster similar to Godzilla, being able to surpass a wild giganotosaurus And as Godzilla, he can defend and attack from a great distance with an atomic ray using an element as fuel capable of damaging the Tek Tier. converting it into engame game taming in exticion only below the titans The limitations to not break the balance of the game would be these 1.In order to transform Tyrannotitan into an unstoppable beast you will need at least 200 refined elements. 2. Once transformed, such a large creature requires an immense amount of food; Otherwise, when her food stat is set, she will begin to lose her transformation, so she must be constantly fed cooked meat or kibble if desired. 3. The ability that wears out Tyrannotitan the most would be its breath element, although this attack is capable of vaporizing almost anyone. You must know who against because it will not reduce the transformation's battle time if that skill does not have a cooldown time of 1.5 min. 4. once the effect is over you have a cool down of about 20 minutes to put the element back into your monster 5 Once transformed Tyrannotitan cannot be stored in cryopods Using Tyrannotitan is very expensive so you have to know when and where to use it to get the most out of your mount. Characteristics. massive damage: when Tyrannotitan mutates into the element increases your damage even more than a 100% blood rage carcha instantly and thanks to the fact that their teeth are infused with element, they are able to cut anything, being able to damage all types of structures and ignore armor and also has infinite stamina while his transformation lasts Tank Tyrannotitan when transformed gains a lot of health points which allows it to withstand a lot of damage Thanks to its dimensions, it is able to cover a lot of space and protect everything behind it.
  2. Species: Chilantaisaurus tashuikouensis Time: Cretaceous period Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Males aggressive, females neutral. Art credit for Chilantaisaurus design goes to Risky Biscuits, check out her website she makes amazing art. Dossier Through the wastelands of this place once called Earth, corrupted with elements, I have seen things that I would originally thought to be impossible. Mountain sized beasts made from pure element wandering, corrupting any poor creature to enter its path. Other creatures attempting to escaping the corruption by fleeing to the bio arks placed in the wasteland or the city which provides some level of protection, however, never before have I seen a creature which not only coincides with the corruption in a symbiotic relationship but uses the element to its advantage without being corrupted itself. Wild From what I have heard, Chilantaisaurus is a medium sized carnivorous dinosaur living in one place that no person or dinosaur should ever go, the forbidden zone. Other tribes in the area tell stories about what Chilantaisaurus is capable of if it exists since no one has the courage to set foot in the forbidden zone and find out. Some people tell stories of how no corrupted creatures would ever consider hurting the Chilantaisaurus because of the element pumping through the Chilantaisaurus body, tricking the corrupted creatures into thinking that Chilantaisaurus is like them, allowing it to wander peacefully without interruption. Going off of what the local tribes say, I can assume that even if some poor creature survives the hell hole of corrupted creatures that the Chilantaisaurus would make short work of the creature. Some tribes say that if a survivor were to somehow manage to tame one of these beasts, they would be able to then use the element coursing through its veins to copy and use other creatures' main traits to its gain. Domesticated The local tribes say that the males and females stay far apart, only meeting up to mate and produce offspring. Hypothetically, if you were to reunite the male and female then you would be able to grab yourself an egg. However, I would assume that first you would have to gain the trust of the male by feeding it different kinds of rare items. If the male is unsatisfied, then the baby could come out at a lower level, even worse the Chilantaisaurus may feel agitated, kicking you off the back, alerting all the corrupted creatures in the area of your presence. To snag one of these element junkies it's extremely advised to bring more than one tribe member to kill all the corrupted creatures in the area just in case Chilantaisaurus becomes agitated. However, I bet Mei Ying could probably solo tame this thing with little to no effort. I also bet that the more feeds it gets the more levels the offspring will get once hatched, as well as the less chance you will be turned into a corrupted Giganotosaurus meal. Abilities and utility If what the local tribes are saying is true, then the Chilantaisaurus is the ultimate defense and offense dino, being able to fire back out what its enemy dishes out. However, the attacks that are copied by the Chilantaisaurus are weaker than the creature it copied base attack, having a 25% less dp. Also, once copied, the buff only lasts for 1 minute before having a 2 minute cooldown before being used again. Lastly, the stronger the attack, the more element it costs to use. For example, if the Chilantaisaurus copies the harvest abilities of an ankylosaurus - then per 1 minute it would cost 100 element. Another example is if the Chilantaisaurus were to copy the insane bite force of a Giganotosaurus, then the element cost could go up to 1000. This thing is best when used with other tribe members but could also be used as a solo tame to deal with tricky enemies. Controls Left Click - Bite (Base dp for a 150 deals 120 dp) Right Click - Tail slam dealing less dp but more knockback (the smaller the dino the further it gets flung away). C Button - Cosmetic roar (to let your enemies know that you're not messing around) as well as to use your copied ability. Ctrl button - Opens up a scroll wheel menu used to access copied abilities (similar to the one you get when hovering over your dino). X Button - Shoots out a beam of pure liquid element. Once the beam touches a dino and % meter will appear over its head, you have to maintain the beam on the dino until it reaches 100%. Once done, the ability will be placed inside your dinos copy menu. To use copied abilities, place element required inside dinos inventory, click on the ability and hold down c to use that dinos ability. Base Stats (For a level 1) 1200 hp 600 Stam 1400 Food 300 Oxygen 120 Melee Uses in PVP / PVE PVE - Chilantaisaurus is probably the best tame to move through the wastelands to fulfill your exploration and harvesting resource needs, seeing as no corrupted dinos agro onto you as long as you don't attack them. Chilantaisaurus is more of a slower dino, however, can be boosted in speed by copying fast dinos abilities. Chilantaisaurus is not good at doing OSD’s or element veins but is a great tame for clearing lots of enemies in your way for a short period of time depending on the copied ability. PVP - As mentioned before, Chilantaisaurus is best in teams, being able to act as the best tame to fit your team's play style. In Giganotosaurus fights, it can act as a Yutyrannus, or a weaker Giganotosaurus/Carcharodontosaurus or a tame to dismount your enemies. If your fighting guys flying around in tek suits then you can use the abilities of a velonasaur to shoot them down, or when cross servers open and wyverns can be transferred to Ext then you can become a weaker wyvern depending on the kind of wyvern your Chilantaisaurus copied. But the Chilantaisaurus is best for countering OSD’s and Element veins when they are completed. The enemies may be so distracting with getting the loot that they might not notice the Allosaurus sized mini Giganotosaurus running towards their tames, or a mini rhino, or a mini wyvern - allowing you to take all their loot. Last tips and mentions, Chilantaisaurus may seem insanely strong, which it is; however, it has counters - again all its attacks are weaker and it’s slow - you can not use two abilities at once. Meaning you're vulnerable when attacking and the element cost is crazy high when using your abilities. Main counters to Chilantaisaurus are flyers, fast tames that act as glass cannons, tank dinos that can out last the Chilantaisaurus 1 min ability time. Also, when transfers open up and this creature starts getting brought around to different arks, keep in mind that it is a slow swimmer and can not copy water creatures abilities. Another thing to note is that when put in a cryo pods the Chilantaisaurus keeps its copied abilities but new Chilantaisaurus, babies of bred Chilantaisaurus or cloned Chilantaisaurus don't, meaning that you should create 1 insanely strong Chilantaisaurus with all the best stats before taking it out and starting to use it. Thank you for reading through my post! Please leave a vote if you like my idea, if you don’t then Chilantaisaurus will copy the king titans abilities and blow up your base lol!
  3. Common Name: Gojirasaurus Species Name: Gojirasaurus Dominious Time: Late Triassic Diet: Carnivore Temperment: Extremely Aggressive Wild: Surprisingly larger in comparison to how large the fossilized skeletons I had seen were, Gojirasaurus Dominious is larger than Allosaurus but slightly smaller than the Rex. Despite that size factor, Gojirasaurus Dominious had managed to become one of the apex predators of the wasteland for a few good reasons. Though it maybe true that they are known to go after various different creatures. But their overall hatred is directed towards the corrupted creatures, as well as some of the stray robotic units that stray too far from the sanctuary. Gojirasaurus Dominious seems to have utilized both it's jaws, and strong powerful tail in terms of the brawling category. While it also possesses dorsal spines that it must've developed as a unique adaptation which allow it to not only absorb the energy of the element they tend to consume, but to also unleash it as either a powerful elemental breath of blue fire, or when it is completely surrounded, releases a pulse of energy to knock most surrounding foes back which allow for an easy escape for it. And to top it all off, it's just as fast as Allosaurus, though it's slower than Carnotaurus in comparison. Domesticated: At first it wasn't known if it even is possible to tame a Gojirasaurus Dominious as it is immune to various tranquilizing substances, that was until I saw a few clever survivors manage to tame it by just dropping some element around it as an offering to it. As soon at it's tamed it, it had proven to be quite a very vital creature. I'd imagine that it would make dealing with hordes of corrupted creatures a bit easier due to it's formidable combat prowess. I fell like they would at least keep a stash of element on the creature at all times if they want it to be able to use it's remarkable abilities in combat as well. And who knows, maybe a few tamed Gojirasaurus Dominious could possibly stand a chance against the some of the Titans themselves.
  4. This is a short guide on how to make a relatively effective element farm. Please note it doesn't produce element directly, it instead makes element dust. The first step, you will need to tame some tek parasaurs, the higher the health the better. Next tame a therizino. Level melee fore more resources, or weight so it can run longer without you. Next set up small chamber, about double the length of your theri. Don't put a roof on. Next, build relatively high directly above the chamber, and put your male tek parasaur in the very middle of the open space at the top. Fill as much as you can around the male with females, so that their backsides face into the chamber. Set all the parasaurs to mate, the theri to aggresive and add some air conditioners. ***THIS IS NOT MY OWN, THE CONCEPT WAS INSPIRED BY SYNTACYT***
  5. 🦟 0 Rhynocoris iracundus It is an insect that lives in the destruction of extinction living in dry areas. The body, slender and depressed of these insects, of discreet colors or with red tones it has the approximate size of a triceratops its colors are striking They live in flocks of 3 having 2 female and 1 male the. females are ultra protective of the eggs and their young. 𝕊𝕜𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕤: The name assassin insects is not his name, he catches the hastily and with his beak pierces the prey and puts poison in them. Rhynocoris iracundus use their beak to inject venom into creatures. 𝕡𝕖𝕔𝕜: they use their big beaks to deal damage to creatures. 𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕔𝕜 𝕥𝕠 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕔𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕦𝕣𝕖𝕤: Can stick to large creatures Large and medium-sized ones like brontosaurs and rex like sticks to creatures can inject poison, taking away stamina from creatures. 𝕋𝕠 𝕗𝕝𝕪: They have wings. What did you expect? 𝕋𝕠 𝕤𝕦𝕔𝕜: Can use their beak to suck the blood of creatures by making blood bags Can suck elements from creatures with Corrupted and from element veins. 𝕤𝕜𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕤 𝕥𝕠 𝕝𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕟: AThese adorable creatures can be taught to put different types of substances inside other creatures and survivors. medical brew: Can be used to heal creatures and survivors, healing straight into the vein Narcotics: Used to take down creatures and survivors by putting narcotic right into the vein energy brew:Grants an energy boost right in the vein for creatures and survivors as stated above he can also suck the element of creatures corrupted by the element being a great farmer. I think this creature would be a great addition to extinction because in addition to farming element it can farm blood and other creatures. taming: you will have to offer your dinosaur with narcotics in inventory in order to take down such a creature for the dino to suck all the narcotics and be able to fall and thus tame giving him meat since it is his favorite food. 6. INTRODUCING THE EPIC........ DEINOCHEIRUS THE AUGMENTED CORRUPTED DINO DESTROYER AND DEFENDER. Perfect for taking on OSDs, element veins and gathering element Concept by me, Art by my friend Agnes and me ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hello fellow ARK players! I am excited to present the Deinocheirus! I am sorry about the humongous amounts of text, but I want to explain this concept as good as possible. I have a section where I answer some questions about this creature further down in this submission! Anyway. Instead of the many other fish gatherer versions of this, I thought it would be cool to have a defender dino. Capable of supporting your dinos in any battle, or just being a powerhouse on its own. Hopefully you dont think its too OP, please excuse me if so. Deinocheirus means “Terrible hand” so I thought designing this creature around its powerful arms would fit perfectly, and since extinction have some creatures that have been changed by the element, then why cant this beast be it too? Please, hear me out 😀 A pair of mighty Deinocheirus arms (From National Geographic). Dossier Wild Standing the same height as a Rex, this is definitely the regions most deadly creature, so don't let the Deinocheirus beak fool you for its capability to deal damage. As its colossal arms, augmented by element, will pack quite a punch to anything foolish enough to approach it. Because if you do, the Deinocheirus can extend its arms for greater reach and damage, using the element augmentation, and even reshape its arms to great wings which it can use to glide swiftly through the air to catch you… Domesticated If you’re able to tame this mighty beast, you’ll find yourself an exemplary mount to traverse the barren wastes, as The Deinocheirus deals increased damage to corrupted creatures and can extract element more efficiently from Tek creatures. Their augmented arms make quick work of almost any attacker. Their ability to reach and push away enemies attacking supply drops or element veins makes it an easy task. Even their ability to guard the rider makes this one of the most prominent mounts a survivor can have. But they are slow and bulky, But what they loose in speed they make up for in strength. I have seen survivors fighting hordes of the corrupted with ease with these things, taking home all kinds of amazing treasures they found in the wasteland, mainly element. But also amazing loot from the supply drops that fall from Earths orbit. The most remarkable thing was that the rider and the creature didn't have a single scratch on them. NATURE After years of evolution and being exposed to elements volatile abilities, has caused it to fuse to the Deinocheirus gigantic arms, thus making element dust one of its main nutrients. But also giving it more abilities. Mainly the ability to reshape its arms into things it can use depending on the situation. The Deinocheirus is a neutral creature, and will only attack if threatened. They roam the watery trenches and pools of the sanctuary, and in the outskirts of the wasteland, looking for food and element dust in the water and also Tek/corrupted creatures to feast on their element. If you try to observe it with a scout, then the Deinocheirus will become aggravated, and try to eat it and consume the element inside. Abilities Passive It has increased element dust gathering from TEK creatures. (Like defense units, enforcers, scouts, and TEK creatures like a TEK parasaur) Increased element gains from element veins COLOSSAL extra damage against corrupted creatures It can turn around on the spot, like a Sarco or Beelzebufo Deals more damage to MEKs, which gives it a role in pvp as well. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Element mode This is a state which the Deinocheirus can enter to gain access to its core abilities, this will cost element dust, and then it will slowly drain the dust from your inventory over time. In this state your normal attacks will have unique animations and do slightly more damage and range, and deal increased knockback. Your arms will become more flexible almost (and a lot of almost, absolutely not as serious as in the video) like the Kos parasite from Bloodborne Kos Parasite Moveset. Extended Ground slam (Element mode) The Deinocheirus can grow its arms for extended reach and damage, which will damage a large area in front of you. This can, as an example, be used to damage a swarm of corrupted creatures in front of you, or catch a creature running away from you. This attack is used by holding and releasing the button, the range of the slam depends on how long you press it. In addition you can press the button once to do a normal slam which will affect an area around the Deinocheirus Super Jump (Element mode) Increase the size of your arms that you place onto the ground and charge a gigantic leap vertically into the air. This can be used as an escape or to traverse the barren wasteland of extinction. Also when you leave the ground, the enemies below will be stunned, much like a snow owl divebomb. In addition, you can use the the ground slam, which will have more AOE when used after the jump. This ability has a short cooldown, and you can charge it even when you’re attacked. Defense roar (can be activated during both modes) Perform an extremely mighty roar (loud and epic), which will give increased defense to nearby tames, and startle attackers, causing them to stop attacking your tames for a short period. Works very well when using other creatures with you during OSD and Element nodes. This ability has a cooldown. Glide (Element mode) The Deinocheirus have finally achieved its dream to fly, now that its “little chicken” wings are made from element. When you’re in the air you can extend and grow your wings to glide gracefully across the air. Similar to a parachute. This can be used for travel, and also to escape. Element Guard (Element mode) Transform the arms in to a forward facing shield which gives damage negation. This can be used if you’re taking excessive damage. You can also attack in this state if you want to push enemies away from a location and temporarily stun them (I intend that this is a pretty large area, so it is more useful and does not just push away one target). This is perfect when a powerful creature is attacking an orbital supply drop or element node and you don't want it to break. Inspired by Dark souls 3 Epic Giant door shield. Uppercut grab (Element mode) Thrust your claws in the air and grab a creature or player above you and slam them to the ground. which gives the Deinocheirus a way to deal with creatures or players in the air. This will be perfect for the corrupted pteranodons and the corrupted wyverns in orbital supply drops and element nodes, especially when you cant really hit them, then you can grab them instead and throw them in front of you, giving you a moment to damage it. Corrupted burst Consume a corrupted heart to gain a 25 second boost of increased damage, attack speed, and range. Your arms will grow to about 3x larger, and the blue veins will turn purple. In this state you cant enter or leave the element mode, depending on which state you activated this in. Almost like going super saiyan. But after 25 seconds you will have a duration of exhaustion, which will leave you vulnerable to attacks. This ability is used to get out of tight situations, like when you’re about to die, and you need to kill everything around you. A very high risk high reward ability. This ability will have a cooldown. Almost like this TAMING The player will first need to find a Deinocheirus, which they will in the trench in the sanctuary, or in the outskirts of the sanctuary, right between the border of the wasteland. First step you need to do is cover yourself in element dust. Which you do by placing the element dust in your hotbar and “equip it”. This will cover you in element dust, and it will also make the Deinocheirus smell and notice you. Scary right? Once it has noticed you, it will start smelling you. BUT, if you move during this process, its gonna think you’re a Tek creature or a corrupted creature, and it will see you as hostile, and start attacking. Therefore its important to stand still. Once it has smelled you it will take a hold of you and start absorbing the element from your inventory (You will need a lot, especially for high level ones). Make sure you have brought enough element though. Because if you run out of element dust, shards or pure element. Then it will throw you away, and get angry at you, lower taming effectiveness. Element dust will give the lowest amount of taming percentage, following with element shards, and then pure element, which will give the most amount of taming percentage. You will also need to refresh the element dust coating on your character, because if it would run out, the Deinocheirus will see you as hostile. There will be a meter inthe bottom right corner of your screen which shows how much there is left of your coating, giving the taming process a little bit more engagement If you succeed in coating yourself and have enough element, the Deinocheirus will be yours, your very own corrupted creature slaying machine. Questions What happens if i run out element dust while im in element mode? You will return to the standard “mode”, BUT only after a short delay. This will make it more comfortable, especially if you’re in the air, then you will be able to land before you leave element mode. My Giga or Carch does more damage than the Deinocheirus, isn't it useless for OSD’s and element nodes? No, even though your Giga or Carch might do more damage, the Deinocheirus will be able to push away and stun creatures and also give defensive buffs. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, you will be able to harvest more element from element nodes, there are no other creatures that can do this. You will be able to harvest the element with the Deinocheirus in its standard state. Isn't this extremely unrealistic? Both yes and no. BUT there are many other creatures that are unrealistic such as the Amargasaurus, which can shoot hot and cold spikes out of its neck… like what…? Also in a world with mysterious substances such as element, that literally corrupts and changes creatures, such as the Managarmr or Snow owl. Then why cant the element have changed this creatures abilities? I believe this just fits the aesthetic of the map more. This wouldn't have worked for, lets say, the island. There are no other element afflicted creatures. Can I run out of stamina in corrupted burst or element mode? In corrupt burst mode you will not run out of stamina during its duration, only when the 25 second buff runs out, after that you will get an exhaustion debuff, which will be a subtle decrease to stamina recovery, until the stamina bar is full. In element mode you can run out of stamina like any other creature. Doesn't this sound very overpowered? The Deinocheirus is meant to be a powerful creature, but it also has its drawbacks. First of all it is supposed to be be slow. Second of all, the creature “cost” element dust to use its “cool” abilities. Otherwise it would be completely broken, not everything cool can be free Why it should be added to Extinction A horrible 3D model and render by me 😀 The Deinocheirus will not only bring more life to Extinction, but it will also give players another option to destroy the corrupted dangers of the barren wasteland. The Deinocheirus will usher the players of Extinction in more ways to defend yourself, your base and your creatures, with its guarding abilities, increased knockback and its ability to stop attackers from attacking your tames. This, combined with its ability to harvest element from element nodes will benefit both PVP, and PVE. Doesn't the defending part satisfy you, then the amazing corrupted burst mode will, with its mighty power you will be able to destroy anything that might stand in your path. Soar through the air with its ability to jump, and glide with your gigantic reshaped wings. The Deinocheirus will make a fun, unique and immersive tame which will shake up the gameplay of Extinction and bring OSD and element veins more flare and excitement. (Quick note, it also would fit because it is afflicted with element, like many other creatures on the map) The Deinocheirus is a long overdue addition to ark, I am surprised it hasn't been added yet! Now it has the chance to get added, cooler and bigger than ever! This creature may seem complex, but I promise that its much more simpler once you’ve ridden on it. …If anything seems to OP or complex, or if you don't understand the reasoning, then tell me!I will gladly answer to feedback and suggestions. Please be nice 😀 Thank you for reading this submission!! Have and amazing rest of your day!! VOTE FOR THE DEINOCHEIRUS!!!!!
  7. Name: Mosquito Species Name: Burmaculex Antiquus Time Period: Late Cretaceous to Modern Day Diet: Omnivorous Temperament: Territorial Introduction Mosquitoes have been around for millions of years. According to fossil records, one of the oldest known mosquitoes, Burmaculex Antiquus, dates back to the late Cretaceous. While there isn’t much information on the prehistoric ancestors of mosquitos, we can assume they were no different from their modern-day descendants. Since these creature votes require a prehistoric animal to be submitted, I have chosen Burmaculex Antiquus for the species since there is more information on the wiki about it than others. The question is; what would it be like in Ark? Since this submission is geared toward creating an exclusive creature for Extinction, there is an opportunity to play with the creature’s abilities. Perhaps due to the element that has infected the world, the mosquito has had to evolve into something different in order to survive like the gasbag. So, here’s my take on the mosquito if it came to the map. Note: If you're wondering about the omnivorous thing, apparently mosquitoes drink plant juices as well as animal blood. I don’t know if only some species do this, or all can. Just wanted to add it in. Wiki page on Mosquito: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mosquito Wiki page on Burmaculex Antiquus: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burmaculex_antiquus Wild Found in the wastelands of extinction, Mosquitoes could be found flying around water sources. About the size of Meganeura or Titanomymra, the creatures in the area don’t seem to notice when the bugs attach themselves to their bodies and feed off them. Not even the more violent corrupted variations seem to mind. What is odder is that the mosquitoes would rather go for the nearest corrupted creature than the regular ones. Once the mosquitoes have had their fill, they would return to a nest and deposit what they have collected. Unlike bees, several mosquitos would occupy the nest without a queen. When survivors approach the mosquitoes, they may or may not bother to attach themselves depending on what players have on them. Element or Tek-based equipment would attract them and if they latch on to the survivor, they would not only lose health slowly but durability or energy from their equipment. Like with leeches, the way players would remove them would be to use a campfire or heat source to burn the suckers off. Or use Bug Repellant. Attacking them would provoke them to attack and the survivors may find themselves being swarmed. Harvesting them when killed would yield chitin and raw meat with a rare chance of corrupted nodules which also drop from corrupted creatures. Taming When it comes to taming a mosquito, the idea would be to tame them with offerings. This offer would be corrupted nodules or other element-based resources such as dust, shards, ore, or just element itself. The mosquito would attract itself to the survivor and consume the element resource. Depending on which element is used in the taming process would be more effective. Dust being the least and element the most. Very similar to Bloodshalkers and Desmodus. Note: Considering how dangerous the wastelands are with corrupted creatures spawning rapidly, I didn’t want to make the taming too complex. Once Tamed Once tamed, the mosquito could be carried around like a shoulder pet. In its inventory, the survivor would be able to craft a mosquito nest that the creature can inhabit. Placing it down like a beehive, the survivor could assign a maximum of 5 to 10 mosquitoes to it. Unlike the bees, the bugs would be able to leave the nest if the survivor wishes and the nest could also be destroyed without destroying them. After being assigned to a nest, mosquitoes would fly off to feed on creatures. Bringing back corrupted nodules. Inside the nest, corrupted nodules would start appearing as the mosquitoes go to work. Not only would it be a way of generating the polymer substitute but over time, the nest would turn it into a new resource called Liquefied Element. This resource would be used in serval different ways such as powering Tek-based structures, fuel for generators and equipment, and creating element. Purification The main reason why I chose the mosquito was to find a way of taming corrupted creatures other than through mods. I doubt that the devs would allow us to tame corrupted creatures in the usual ways (depending on the species), so I came up with an idea to make it possible. As previously stated, Mosquitoes would go out into the world and find the nearest corrupted creature to feed from. What if the mosquitoes would not only harvest the corrupted nodules from the creature but also cure it, slowly turning the creature into a regular version? Thus, allowing survivors to tame it. How could we see that the purification process is happening? Visually speaking, we would see the purple corruption of the creature slowly disappear. Using a spyglass or magnifying glass to see what percent the creature has been purified. Alternatively, instead of changing into a regular creature, the mosquitoes would turn the creature into a purified version. Changing the corrupted purple color into a purified blue. It would not be tamed afterward though. The survivor would have to tame it the usual way. Either way, if the creature was left alone for too long, the corruption would return. Conclusion It's more than likely players would rather have a bigger and rideable version of the mosquito. Capable of attaching itself to a corrupted creature like the Deinonychus and drinking its fluids. However, I felt like it would be too similar to the Rhyniognatha in appearance since it would be another giant rideable bug. So, I opted for something smaller, giving it a supporting role. The purpose overall was to find a way of making a creature that allowed us to tame corrupted creatures which would not only allow players to tame high levels but possibly a new variant. But this is just my take on the Mosquito. What do you think? Note: It came down between the Mosquito or Chickenosaurus for this submission and truth be told, the latter was silly.
  8. Foreword: I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for reading this concept. Huge thanks to my little brother for the artwork (I suck at drawing). We worked super hard on it. Enjoy the read! (Sorry about the size of the images, I can't figure out how to make them smaller) Introduction: The Shantungosaurus in real life was as much a beast as it is in this concept. Ranging from 49 to 51 feet in length, and 13 to 16 metric tons in weight, the animal is the largest hadrosaur ever discovered. It lived in what is now modern-day China during the Late Cretaceous period. This species, Shantungosaurus giganteus, is a true force of nature, but now I'll show you what it can do when it's not so grounded in historical and biological restraints. (NOTE that from now on, I might shorten Shantungosaurus to Shant.) Dossier: If I had to write a dossier for the Shantungosaurus, this is it would look like. Common Name: Shantungosaurus Species: Shantungosaurus ferrugiet Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Protective Wild: I've seen Element do some crazy things to some otherwise normal animals. It widens their palates, gives them the power of flight, and even allows them to become high caliber weaponry. But the strangest thing I've seen it do is mimic a device straight out of a sci-fi movie. Unlike other Element-augmented creatures, Shantungosaurus ferrugiet retains most of the traits from its base species. But unlike its abnormally large historic counterpart, the Shantungosaurus expels excess Element by activating special organs in its thick hide that project a holographic shield around itself and its allies. The shield seems to prevent all damage to its' owner until it is broken or wears off. It performs this bizarre act of protection usually when defending its overgrown, underground territory from any interlopers that make the mistake of drawing too nearby. This often includes unlucky survivors, who find themselves stomped to death without any way of dealing damage in return. Domesticated: Between its thick hide and shield, don't expect to be able to knock out a Shant if you don't know where to shoot. It doesn't seem to have as thick of skin on its head though, so keep that in mind if you decide to get a Shant for yourself. If you can somehow manage to subdue this utterly humongous beast, you will find yourself with the most loyal, overprotective, and exceptionally large pet you could ask for. By training the Shant to get along with your other tames, you can convince it to project its shield onto your forces, bolstering their survivability exponentially. Just don't expect it to stand by idly while you go hunting or are being attacked. It can't resist the urge to help out a friend! In the Wild: As described by the Dossier, the Shantungosaurus is a massive animal with a thick hide and enormous health pool that has adapted to Element by using it to project shields. It looks like a really big Iguanodon with thicker hind legs, a sail (not historically accurate) running down the front half of its back, spines running down the rear end of its back (also not historically accurate), and good Element corruption spread sporadically in patches, creating special organs that project the shield. It will wander around the Sunken Forest spread thinly in groups of two to three, slaughtering anything that gets too close. About half the size of a Giga or Carch, its presence at a should be feared and respected just as much. It won't do nearly as much damage as either of those massive carnivores but expect a long fight if you choose to engage them. If you catch one's aggro and don't feel like fighting it, luckily for you the Shantungosaurus moves slower compared to most other mounts, so you can outrun it 80% of the time. Don't try to hide from it in an insufficient shelter, though, because it can damage Stone structures and below. In the wild, it will use its shield much less frequently than it could if it was tame so it won't take forever to kill if you think its too close to your base or you're trying to clear out low levels. Taming: Unlike a lot of newer creatures, the method of taming a Shantungosaurus is relatively straightforward. It is a knockout tame, but to keep things interesting both boulders/cannons and tranquilizers will work. Be sure to aim for the head when using either, unless you want to be knocking it for a really long time. Once knocked, the torpor drain is around half that of a Mosasaurus, but with a much higher torpor pool, it will wake up slower. It will accept all the normal herbivore foods, and its preferred kibble is Extraordinary, but if you have it on hand, you can feed it Element for as high a taming effectiveness as Kibble. Base Stats: Wild Health Pool: 50,000 (give or take) Tamed Health Pool: 25,000. I want the level progression of the Shantungosaurus to be an opposite to the Carch or Giga, with melee leveling poorly and health boosting by a huge margin per level (it needs it to soak all the "shared" damage it takes.) Stamina: 1,250. From a full bar of Stam to empty while sprinting will take as long as a Rex of equal level. Food: 10,000. Drains at an average rate. Oxygen: 500. The Shantungosaurus IS NOT designed to swim! Weight: 1000. The Shantungosaurus' large, sturdy built allows it to carry all sorts of goods and resources before it gets weighed down! Melee Damage: 200%. The Shant's strongest attack will deal the same amount of base damage as a Rex, but attacks much slower. Movement Speed: 100%. In terms of speed, the Shant walks about as fast as a Stego sprint, and runs as fast as a Bronto sprint. Torpidity: 8500. With damage reduction on most parts of the body and such a monstrous torpor bar, the Shant is supposed to be a very high risk-reward tame. If you play with boosted stats or have the guts to tame and breed Shants, the payoff is well worth it. Coming prepared to a tame with a boatload of tranqs/cannonballs and a trap is recommended, but if you're high enough level to tame a Shant, then you'll probably have enough resources on hand anyway. Abilities: Left Click/Right Trigger: Bite/Kick. The Shantungosaurus will bite if the camera is facing forward, and to a kick backward with its hind legs if the camera is facing backwards. It won't do much damage, but can be used in quick succession. The kick will do much more knockback than the bite, but the bite can harvest berries whilst the kick can't harvest anything. Both can break up to Wood. Right Click/Left Trigger: Stomp/Tail Swipe. The Shantungosaurus will rear up on its hind legs and slam its feet down on whatever is in front of it if the camera is facing forward. The attack deals much greater damage than the bite, can harvest thatch and wood, and deals much more knockback, but is a lot slower than the bite. If the camera is facing backward, the Shant will swipe its tail side to side, dealing a moderate amount of damage and incredibly high knockback. It can also harvest thatch and wood and is rather slow. Both can break up to Stone. C/Left Stick: Shield Activation. The Shantungosaurus will rear on its hind feet, but instead of crashing down, it releases a loud roar which fires a pulse in a radius of the Shant. The pulse will activate an effect on whatever is within the radius of the Shantungosaurus (including the Shant itself.) The effect is quite complicated, so I will try to explain it as best I can. The effect lasts for 30 seconds, and the cooldown on effect use is 50 seconds, leaving 20 seconds where creatures have no extra defense. Creatures under the effect of the Shant's shield will take no damage until the shield expires. The shield will expire under two circumstances; the effect wears off, or the shield is broken manually. To break the shield, one must deal damage to it. The shield itself is based on the individual it protects and has half its owner's maximum health. Once this amount of damage has been done, the shield breaks. If the attack that broke it deals more damage than the shield has health left, then the excess is dealt directly to the creature at a 25% damage reduction. The Shant cannot activate the shield again until the effect wears off. Attempting to will drain the entire stamina bar with nothing in return. X/Right Stick: Cosmetic Roar. Does nothing. Looks cool. Because every dino should have one. Uses: Gatherer: Admittedly, the Shant is not designed for gathering resources, but if you have nothing else, it is still far more effective than harvesting by hand. War Mount: The true intended use case of the Shantungosaurus. Whether it be bosses in PvE or enemy tribes in PvP, the Shantungosaurus will make any encounter with an enemy easier thanks to it's shielding ability. Extra Bits: The Shantungosaurus Saddle is unlocked at level 98. Breeding Times: 9 days on official rates. Seems long, but the Giga takes 10! Despite a cosmetic Tek Forcefield-like dome around anything under the Shield effect, it does not change any hitboxes, nor does the dome have it's own hitbox. Groups of Shant will spawn quite infrequently, so they hopefully won't be a terrible nuisance. The shield effect will not work on tamed Titans, but it will work on the Titanosaur. It will work on Allied dinos, but not on Noglin Controlled ones. The Shant Egg has Extraordinary nutritional value! If, for some reason, you have a powered-off Tek Forcefield, a Shantungosaurus, and incoming enemy forces, using the Shant shield pulse can immediately activate the Forcefield with no startup time required (it will still consume Element in the Forcefield at a normal rate.) Afterword: Thank you so much for reading my idea for Extinction's Shantungosaurus! I hope you enjoyed, and consider upvoting. Obviously, I came up with the idea because of the use of Gigas/Carchas in the King Titan boss fight. It seems unfair that you could have hundreds of them and they would all surely die to all but maybe the Gamma King Titan. No one likes losing work, and the implementation of the Shant should help prevent that. Once again, huge thank you to my brother for the artwork. Good luck to all other submissions, and have a wonderful day!
  9. Gravitholus is a creature that has been unrecognizably altered by the Corruption on this world. However, it's not a grotesque monster like the Velonasaur, or some mythical Drake like the Managarmr. It harnesses Element to do the extraordinary: Manipulate gravity. By increasing the density of the Element striating across the body, it can make itself Heavier, or lighter as it needs. But even more remarkable, a mighty charging headbutt from this can temporarily alter the perceived mass of whatever it knocks into, sending them absolutely flying for a short period of time as they become as light as a feather, until the effect ends and the plummet to the ground. Why bother to fight when you can simply fling your opponents into the sky? By increasing it's density, it can become immune to knockback and bleeds, sink underwater, and plow straight through Boulders and structures while charging. Unfortunately, this will also increase the weight of any materials it happens to be carrying, so make sure it doesn't have a big haul! By decreasing it's density, it can carry a massive load of resources at a fraction of their standard weight, jump further, and be immune to fall damage, at the cost that it also is easily thrown around now too. I wonder if there's any way its power could be harnessed to invert gravity entirely?

Wild: Wandering the most climate extreme environments in this broke earth, Sinotyrannus Radium has been able to harvest electricity from the environment thanks to its element mutations and use it offensively This Sinotyrannus' crest is usually used as the main outlet of electricity in his body, its able to use its electricity to either shoot out a lightning bolt which crosses among multiple enemies or a flash of blinding light made to stun them Taming Method: You must wait till it shoots its flashbang or lightning bolt, and either deflect it with either a metal shield (flashbang) or with the riot shield (lighting bolt), then it will be stunned, then you may feed it to gain taming effectiveness Tamed: Tribes upon the wasteland have been able to tame these predators by using their own attacks against them, stunning them by reflecting their respective attack and feeding them afterwards Some of these Sinotyrannus are fitted with generator saddles and used as mobile electric sources which dont need gas, this generators are also able to overcharge the Sinotyrannus and make them specially fast and agile compared to most creatures Sinotyrannus; Abilities: Regular bite: Fast bite with decent damage, comparable to carno Lighting bolt: When you enter turret mode you can choose on of two modes, the first mode gives you a lighting bolt shot, which has goes through multiple enemies dealing damage to all of em, a hard hitting attack which takes a couple seconds to recharge, the crest will be a bright yellow when doing this Flashbang: The second mode inside of turret mode is the flashbang, this attack stuns creatures and blind for a few seconds, this attack has a big cooldown and is easy to predict due to its animation, this is to prevent getting stunned all the time, whenever this mode is active the crest will be a bright blue Stomp: A stomp attack which deals moderate damage but leaves an electric field on the ground, this electric field deactivates Meks and other robotic creatures, also it does a continuous stream of damage when inside Passive Abilities: Generator Saddle: Its saddle acts as a mobile generator, this generator doesnt need gas but has a much smaller range Overcharge: When it has a powered generator saddle it unlocks the overcharge meter, this can be filled by attacking and running, when this is activated he is able to do 180 spins on the spot, mega jumps which explode with electricity when it lands and faster movement speed
  11. Causticscincidae Giant Element dwelling Monstrosity ORIGINS Causticscincidae was originally an ordinary blue tongue skink before the ark was introduced to mass amounts of element and radiation, which in time mutated it causing it to grow larger, develop an immunity to liquid element and radiation along with a massive frill which glows with element coursing through it to intimidate smaller foes. HABITAT Causticscincidae usually dwell in the red zone basking in the massive element pools to keep safe from predators such as reaper queens and kings, Rock drakes and the nameless. They can usually be found in pairs of 2 including one male and female. STANCE - ABILITY The Causticscincidae has 2 separate stances both for different situations. The first crawling stance increases speed and decreases stamina consumption while also being able to climb over anything in its path including rocks, Cliffs, Walls, and ceilings. The second stance is the attack stance. In this stance the Causticscincidae will raise the top half of its body in the air and slowly walk on its hind legs. In this stance the Causticscincidae will passively gain a %5 damage resistance and melee damage buff. It will also gain the ability to regurgitate liquid element on its foes causing different status effects. Causticscincidae will also gain unique melee attacks in this stance. REGURGITATE - ATTACK STANCE - ABILITY The Causticscincidae’s regurgitate ability has different effects based on the Causticscincidae’s gender. Males will regurgitate a bright pinkish purple acid infused with liquid element draining stamina and causing tick damage to any affected foes. This ability can only be used at the expense of your Causticscincidae’s health. The female variants will have a bright blue sticky saliva like substance that on contact will slow any enemies affected and lower torpidity resistance but %15. This ability can only be used at the expense of your Causticscincidae’s torpidity. TAILSPIN - ATTACK STANCE- ABILITY Causticscincidae will perform a slow tailspin knocking back all enemies a great distance and stunning smaller foes such as Ravagers, Carnotaurus, Raptors and more. SWIPE - ATTACK STANCE - ABILITY While in attack stance your Causticscincidae may perform a fast swipe attack with its top claws causing damage to larger targets in range of the attack such as Rexes, RockDrakes, Reapers, Spinos and more. ELEMENTAL FRILL - ATTACK STANCE - ABILITY All male Causticscincidae have a frill which can be used in an elemental roar which exposes elemental light that scares off the nameless, seekers and other small enemies and makes reaper queens and kings vulnerable while buffing nearby allies with radiation resistance and physical resistance for 2 minutes. SLAM - ATTACK STANCE- ABILITY While transitioning from attack stance to crawling stance your Causticscincidae will slam onto the ground causing larger enemies to take massive damage while stunning any affected foes temporarily. CLIMB - CRAWLING STANCE - ABILITY While in the crawling stance your Causticscincidae can climb any surface with ease and can even gain stamina while latched onto a surface. Female Causticscincidae’s will climb faster while using less stamina. BITE - CRAWLING STANCE - ABILITY Your Causticscincidae will do a quick bite attack dealing substantial damage to any enemies in range. HOTSPRING - ABILITY While making contact with liquid element Causticscincidae will receive increased healing by %75, gain %25 damage negation, %25 melee damage increase and 2x speed for all actions performed by Causticscincidae. RUSH - ABILITY All female Causticscincidae’s will receive a %25 movement speed boost lasting 15 seconds when taking damage from enemies. PACK ANIMAL - ABILITY All female Causticscincidae will have decreased weight for most raw materials including Wood, Stone. Fiber, Metal, Flint, Obsidian, Crystal and all Colors of Gems, SADDLE Causticscincidae has a primitive saddle option unlockable at level 65 with no extra features or abilities. How ever after defeating rockwell a tek variant will be available giving the player radiation and liquid element immunity along with unlimited oxygen. The tek saddle will also come equipped with 2 flood lights. TAMING Ordinary knockout tame but in order for the Causticscincidae’s taming bar to increase it needs to absorb raw element which can either be hand feed or naturally absorbed but being knocked out in an element pool. Hopefully next creature vote I will have more time to work on my submission but this was good practice lol thanks for looking at my goofy little critter
  12. https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiktaalik Species: Tiktaalik cavernus Time: Late Devonic Temperament: Egg protector Diet: Piscivore Wild: If you go through of the caves, more specifically for its caves, it is most likely that you will find a Tiktaalik, at first sight, they seem peacefully, but if you annoy it, it will become aggressive towards you, biting you, hiting you with its tail and head. It swim so fast but even in mainland it goes at a good velocity. One of its most weird behaviors is that it usually consume element, that makes that elemental fragments increases around its body, which makes it have more power overall. Domesticated: To tame a Tiktaalik, it's simple, this criatures doesn't have the enough intelligence for being your friends, the only thing you can do is catch one of its eggs that will be floating on the water, but the father and the mother will be protecting the egg, which will difficult so much catch the egg. When you have your adult Tiktaalik tamed you will have different advantages apart from the habilities already mentioned; like for example, after kill different arthropods, your Tiktaalik will get an hormone that will return its skin tone in a reddish color that also will multiply its stats during 15 minutes, with another habilities that will depend about how have you raised your baby Tiktaalik. You also will can put a platform on its back to build your little semiaquatic/portable base.
  13. Introducing Brontoscorpio, the Elemental Radiation King! - Wild Well, this is surely a sight to behold! It seems like the elemental rivers have been able to turn this prehistoric scorpion into a mutated version of its former self. It commonly hangs out around the brightly colored magenta liquid but ventures out of the water to defend its territory from any of the other respective predators in the area. After watching the past couple of fights this species has been in, I can confidently say they can hold their ground incredibly well. From their giant claws crushing medium sized carnivores, attackers getting a taste of the elemental rivers when they bite one, to a deafening roar that sends a pheromone into the air that buffs nearby allies, and more, it's surely a creature to be weary of when you come across it. - Taming Method Wow! The Brontoscorpio really has a temper! I've seen survivors getting too close to them and having their tames grabbed by it and having venom get injected into it from its huge stinger. Oddly enough, after releasing its venom it scampers off and lays down for a little while. A couple of survivors have been able to get close to it while it's resting and feed it freshly caught lampreys in fish baskets, being able to gain its trust. - Domesticated Survivors I've talked to who have been successful in taming this gigantic scorpion have been able to craft a saddle for it that keeps them protected from any radiation they receive. While some use the Brontoscorpio's claws as a way to transport tames for harvesting resources, others have been able to use the creature itself as a way to harvest resources, mainly black pearls, but some have even being able to dissolve elemental ore into element dust! While it's familiar in a water environment, it's extremely versatile, being able to climb vertically escaping any threat that might cause it any harm, and if that doesn't do the trick, then it can burrow underground, stationary, for a temporary amount of time. Attackers should be cautious though, foes that get a taste of the Brontoscorpio also get a taste of the radiation that it lived in, while the effect lasts for a couple seconds it's better to gauge your distance. In one battle I witnessed I saw a tamed Brontoscorpio commanding a pack of Pulmonoscorpius, giving them a buff very similar to now a pack of Megalodons work together. Shortly thereafter it bellowed a roar and released a pheromone into the air that allowed other allies to possess the same venom as itself While it's certainly a team player, it can deliver damaging blows with its claws, but its venom it injects is putrid, slowing down prey, draining the foes stamina and ultimately removing 5% of the opponent's health over a period of time. As well it is resistant to being tail-whipped by a Reaper. While it's easy to maintain their diet with spoiled meat, be careful when raising your very own Brontoscorpio though. Just like a Reaper King that attacks at younger stages in its life, the Brontoscorpio follows suit and does the same, but male and female Brontoscorpio's can mate together once they've reached adulthood. - Attacks Left click; Left claw hit Right click; Right claw hit Left click (hold); Left claw grab Right click (hold); Right claw grab C; Stinger attack C (hold); Stinger continuous attack X; Roar Z; Burial Original Creature from history
  14. The Nuralagus is a fierce bunny-like creature found in the Bio-Luminescent zone of Aberration. It has a slim body covered in soft fur, with long and powerful hind legs that let it jump and run well. It can spit out a blob of element which scares small creatures but attracts dangerous Nameless and Reapers. Its sharp claws are used for attacking prey and defending itself from those who want its addictive element. This creature is very territorial and will attack anyone who enters its space. It's also incredibly fast and can outrun its predators easily. Despite its size similar to a Parasaur, the Nuralagus is almost as strong as a Gigantosaurus, so it should be avoided at all costs! Additionally, it has a habit of stealing element from unsuspecting players, similar to how the Pegomastax steals berries, so keep an eye out for this clever creature. Left Mouse Button: Primary Attack - Claw Slash Right Mouse Button: Secondary Attack - Back Legs Kick C Key - Spit Out Element X Key - Steal up to 50 Element from Players and Tames.
  15. My suggestion is the Ctenophora, it looks like a jellyfish, but it does not belong to the cnidarea family, with fossils dating from the Cambrian period, it would be a shoulder creature, it would cling to the survivor from the back with tentacles, it would be transparent and with bioluminescence. While clinging to the survivor, she would have an ability to camouflage herself and the survivor, making both invisible, she would be found swimming in the liquid element, to be able to tame it would require a tek armor to enter the liquid element safely, the food it would be element ore, for balance issues, I imagine that invisibility could have a 10 second cooldown after becoming visible before being able to use it again, and that when attacking it would become visible again, invisibility time would depend on stamina. It would be a passive taming, we would have to give it elemental ore, it could only mate inside the liquid element, after being tamed, it would not die out of water, but it would be unable to move, just lying on the ground waiting for someone to come to take. In the dark of night or in caves it would glow with its bioluminescence, although it doesn't give enough light to illuminate anything, it would be nice to see it glow, with luminous tentacles wrapped around the survivor's torso and arms. Another ability it could have is when in water, it strives to supply its survivor with oxygen, spending its stamina, only recovering it as soon as it leaves the survivor's back or when the survivor leaves the water, thus, the stamina it is a very necessary status, and therefore it should be used well.
