This will return ark to its glory days Hey wildcard how's it going. its been a really long time for me about 20 years to be exact that i've wanted someone to create a game where you can own and control dinos. you guys in wildcard made that possible. This is my all time favorite game i'll never give up on it. My suggestion it might have been thought of or mentioned but as im watching Jurassic world the fallen kingdom what if wildcard goes through and does a genetic mutation for every dino in ark and every possible mutation you can get. this we keep the game running and bring back players that have given up on ark and with this idea it's infinite options and ark will never feel like the tame and grind everyday. if you read this and get back to me on what you think that would be great Granmastercoqui

    CrossBreeding I’m recommending crossbreeding because than we can truly get the experience of having the freedom to make dinosaurs people only dreamt of and it would add a whole new aspect to the game

    Tamed Dinos

    Tamed Dinos Can we get a better whistle system please. 1: If you whistle “follow all” it would be nice if all your tamed dinos would then come to you if they are within 5 Mile range from you. Even if you gotta craft a special whistle with a “Go Home All” command. 2: Can the dinos please not be stupid about objects. Like if you have a dino following you and its an anklyo and he gets stuck behind a rock he can clearly smash. He should be able to either smash obstacles that are in his way or go around objects in his way, controlled by toggling in the dino settings. Also be able to attack what it collects, like if u have a pteranodon following you and your also on one and you start attacking trees the following burd would also start attacking trees. Oh you lost track of your follower? No worries just whistle “heel” aka return to you. Or whistle go home and they will go home and not get stuck behind a tree or rock and go around buildings. That way you dont loose your tame. 3:

I just want to see some of your favorites dinos (that you have on your server or solo, haha sorry, I made a mistake with my wording earlier so I went ahead and fixed that), bases, and other things you like. Maybe share some tips for some new people if they were to come by this? To be honest, I just want to know what's up! : D (I do plan to share some of my things too, also, I play on Xbox so the quality of the photos may be a bit low, sorry!)

Wild Dinos arent killing and damaging eachother Before i get a suggestion, my custom single player server has 2.0 dino damage and 3 player damage, dino resistance is 2.0 same as player, but i can damage wild dinos and they can damage me, i roam around the jungles and find carnos and raptors bullying herbivores but no damage, any suggestions how i can fix this? Im on Xbox
  6. tweak and some ideas I would like to add a water wyvern and forest wyvern (actually wyvern, not the boss tame). The water wyvern could be a water like dragon, it can survive in water and use its wings as a swimming tool also be able to glide above water like a flying fish. The forest wyvern like the ice wyvern could be able to live in forest areas like the red woods and you can find the eggs in trees or on the ground near a tree. I would also like wild dinosaurs to be a herd species, they stay in a herd with an alpha instead of just wandering around, this could work for the rex, the raptors and herbivores. I would also like that the flyers don't fly when you tell them to follow, you could put some sort of lock on them like "no take off" or something of the sort because when I do try to mount them and them being in the sky can get annoying sometimes.
  7. Tek cave help I am wondering how to dinos safely to the tek cave. I tried buoling a tek bridge sorta. But there has to be a other way. Anything helps please.
  8. My idea is to choose what Dinos to spawn on your pgmap. The dlc exclusives will be grayed out,unless you got the dlc.there will be icons for creatures and you can select and drag them to a certain part of the map.Also can you fix the pgark on xbox?
  9. Max level for spawning in dinos? I was wondering if I have my diff at .05 then what is the max level for spawning in a dino. I tried a 10000 level dino a few times then the game crashed. I could use some help thanks.
  10. Cryopods Deleting Folders The cryopods delete Dino saved folders after being released. This is troublesome as most people keep track of stats with the folders.

    Dino routes

    Ok hear me out, we already have whistle groups and a whistle to move dinos. Why not take it a step further so our tamed dinos can walk from point A to point B then to point C and back to point A. Almost as if they are patrolling a area. Some uses could be for dinos that auto harvest materials like the doed. or better yet have a pack of allos walking the perimeter of your base to further help with your turrets. It would make offlining people just a bit harder (not much) and it would make the dinos feel more like they actually listen to the player. As it stands now they just stand still unless you let them wander but that has issues with derendered bases and clipping in and out of walls. Having routes the player can set would make it feel like you actually made the dinos trust and listen to you. A way to balance would be limiting the number of routes per tribe. Lets say 10 routes max.

  13. I had a cool idea for a new ARK. It would need to be huge and the main draw would be free roaming bosses. Each of the current bosses would have a territory and be ranked from beginner to endgame. Each free roaming boss would be its respective basic forms, gamma i believe, terminals deep in their territories would be used to accept trophies to increase their difficulty level for a limited time. we would have to LITERALLY hunt the bosses to get tek and progress, this would also mean PVE would have to build proper defenses for their bases in and near territory zones. also the ocean and lakes would have a boss as well. also a poisoning effect for sea creatures in river and lake habitats and vice versa, to being in a unhospital habitat. some map specific creatures would be needed too" ORCAs would have a rush ability that would stun a creature when it run in to it and deal additional damage to Sharks (Orcas hunt sharks this way literally just for fun. killerWhale is not a joke name). Another smaller shark, maybe TIGER SHARKs, Rodhocetus, Desmatosuchus, maybe few mythical creatures like HIPPO-CAMPI and THUNDERBIRDs, some ideas for boss territories would be: Volcanic Mountains - DRAGON with weak fire/lightning wyvern minions Dence Rainforest Ruins - MEGAPITHECUS with its usual Gigantopithecus horde Under ground Cave ruins - BROODMOTHER LYSRIX with Arano and Titanomyrma Frozen Northern Plains - new boss idea SAVAGE GIGANOTOSAURUS, solo, (BIGGER, THORNIER, ANGRIER) Abyssal Oceanic Crags - KRAKEN (lest face it we need this) with Ammonite, Eurypterid, Ichthyosaurus and Angler Deep Lake tunnels - LAVIATHAN (Massive Fanged Whale) with sabertooth salmon, Kaprosuchus and leeches Desert/Oasis - MANTICORE with Weak poison Wyvern minions Central Skies - SOLAR PHOENIX solo or with griffons, this one would be HIGH in the skies and usually not be able to seen from the ground its terminal will be the same terminal in the center of the map used to access the OVERSEER end fight. Jet streams will crisscross the Solar Phoenixes area being inside one will keep parachuters hovering, gliders and fliers will recover stamina and gain altitude anyways thats my idea, all the inbetween area would be normal zones but obviously the stronger more powerful dinos would exist in the boss territories
  14. 1. Oviraptors: make it so that while they are on wander they will target and pick up both Unfertilized Eggs and Fertilized Eggs. 2. Dung Beetles: make it so that they will target and pick up poop while on wander. 3. Beavers: while on wander near water they will make beaver dams. (I'm a bit iffy on this one) 4. make all or most arthropods breedable. 5. Araneos: give it the ability to climb around on walls and ceilings and like a toggle-able vibration vison so it can see in the dark. 6. Mantids: make it so it can pick up dinos in its claws if there's nothing equipped in them 7. Ants: have like a group sawn like normal but with an ant hill nearby that acts the same as a beehive but with ants and when you break it a queen spawns and you can tame it with rare mushrooms or maybe something else but once the queen is tamed you can turn it into a placeable ant hill that produces metal, obsidian, and clay (on RAG and SE) 8. Pulminoscorpius: split its one attack into two a pincher attack and stinger attack. the pincher attack is mainly damage and the stinger attack is mainly torpor can climb up walls freely but will fall off ceilings.
  15. Okay so hear me out, We all love ARK and crave more content, new dinos, new adventures, and challenges. My lil 2 cents to add to this suggestion would be gene splicing/ DNA manipulation/ hybrid tames. So what do I mean by this exactly? Well the ARK's and ob's hold immense power, along with all the Tek we have come to know and love. We also know there there is an actual story behind ARK and all of its inhabitants. So much still shrouded in mystery, and quite frankly leaving a HUGE opportunity to implement some kind of technology to alter the preexisting creatures of ARK. With all that technology and advancement to produce life that was otherwise thought impossible, why wouldn't it be able to further advance and alter the very same life it has constructed? In the ARK lore Helena has said that the ARK's have produced these creatures in a way that is not natural in more than one way. I would like to push this narrative a bit further. What I had in mind was a quite large comprehensive idea. Adding an all new tier of Tek perhaps as well as a new take on taming/ breeding. Through this we could create all NEW species on ARK, and open up endless possibilities. Some aspects of the splicing could be mostly cosmetic, making a creature bigger than they normally are, to maybe having features of two different creatures entirely. Other options could be stats, or abilities. For example, maybe I want a beast that can concur the depths of ARK's oceans, but just can't seem to part with my giant land kitty. So I splice genes from an aquatic creature with a thylaco hoping to achieve a mass boost to oxygen stats, or even a possibility for a water breathing ability. Maybe I'm feeling a bit goofy and want to have my Rex spit like a dilophosaurus? (Okay maybe thats a bit TOO silly, but I would LOVE to see outrageous outcomes, perhaps silly outcomes are considered flops. Whereas the actual intended outcomes could be more serious? So much could be left as an OPTION as well. If a player doesn't want a certain aspect make a checkbox to turn it off.) An even BIGGER step would be to actually find dinos in the wild that are hybrids the ARK has made. Perhaps make them more of a rarity of course, leaving the player to their own new branch of Tek gear to explore the possibilities in full for themselves. This may seem like a goofy or too ambitious jump for what ARK's initial aim was for. However I would love to dive head first into this idea with more careful thought and with the help of other creative minds on how to bring it to life, as well as balance it.   16. If you join a tribe, and at the moment you’re in a tribe and you’re the only one in your tribe. Do all your Dino’s and structures become the tribe that your joining?

Firstly I'm just going to jump to it Dino's I would like to see added to ark: Pterodactyl, brachiosaurus, corythosaurus, minmi, notoceratops, protoceratops, yangchuanosaurus, nothosaurus, protosuchus, anatosaurus, avaceratops, becklespinax, camptosaurus, ceratosaurus, herrerasaurus, heterodontosaurus, lesothosaurus, ouranosaurus and prosaurolophus If I kept going we would be here for days I just want to see more Dino's its not everyday u find a fantastic game the revolves around Dino's. Also I would like to see allot more things to craft like furniture possibly terrariums or even dino heads or ways to put dinos on the wall for eg a sabertooth salmon possible way to make wires in generators a bit more neater Now I'm just going to mention minor stuff possibly more TLC updates for Dino's possibly more mythic creatures like manticore honestly would love to see a tameable hydra or Minotaur oh and would love to see dragonpunk hit console that's a long shot but would provide something to entertain before or after future updates
  18. I think they would fit in since opposums are old as heck and raccoons are damn right adorable. Opposum: Bugs are afraid of it or can't handle it's scent. (Dragonfly, Ant) Raccoon: anti-stealing: pegomastax and ichtyornis will Ignore you while you have him on your shoulder. *Edit* Diprotodon: A giant wombat that has a decent amount of health and weight. Has a pouch just like the Procoptodon. Has a sniff ability that helps you find rare flowers and mushrooms. TLC Dilophosaurus: Make it bigger so that you can ride it. As it's a early game mount (I have a stupid idea for itbut most of my ideas are stupid I'm here for the feedback) . It produces saliva that can be put on arrows which drain wild creatures stamina. Carno:I basically would like it to be just like in primal carnage. With a (baseball bat) head attack which knocks creatures out of it's way. A ramming ability but this is as much requested as the "Make megalodon bigger" thing so the Devs are probably working on it. Stego: An Impale attack would've been nice but the Kentro was introduced.So can it get an alpha buff while with Kentros? Mammoth: Bring the mobile app platform saddle to PC, Xbox and Ps4.And the ability to turn it's trunk into a water hose. So it can be your farmer buddy. Phiomia: The dossier says that it's a livestock animal so make it have the ability to get fat . The fat can be used as bait for carnivores and can be eaten to get insulated for 5 seconds Oviraptor: make it able to collect eggs (even fertilized) from your dinos. (How original am I right ?) Humans:ohhhh man I would love some new look for my character and maybe some new Hairstyles Pelagornis: Underwater dive bomb attack. And basically most of the flyers (except wyverns and quetz) should get the flying mechanic of the Griffin without the dive bomb attack. For the rest I'm still think... Oh yeah and make the liopleurodon a normal tame. And give the diplodocus an attack that does damge?
  19. Allow Dino's tamed on maps like Island, Ragnarok, etc to breed with Abberant Dino's from Abberation.
  20. Make each wyvern look more unique (example: have them different sizes) just basically make them not look like the same mannequin with different clothes. Also, give them new ability's like have the lighting wyvern be focused on quick one hit attacks give them a dive bomb like a griffin but the speed would build up their electricity and when it hits the ground it releases a big electric explosion that deals damage and shocks everything in an area like a bolt of lighting and maybe make it a bit faster and little smaller. And have the poison wyvern be focused on stealth make it half its size and give it the ability to secrete a huge green gas cloud that acts as a smoke bomb and dilo spit and increased stam. Have the fire wyvern be focused on being a tank give it the ability to light its whole body on fire dealing damage to anything near it increase its health make it a little bigger or keep it the same size. And the frost wyvern be focused on being a protector give it the ability to activate an ice aura that gives itself and dinos around it a temporary ice skin shield that increases defense and slows them This will make wyverns more interesting, useful, and unique and hopefully, make them more relevant

I'm gonna be honest here, as much as I love this game, some of the creatures in the game look either really old or really stupid *cough cough* aquatics *cough cough* and certain areas of some of the maps are..... well..... sloppily done. Like how in certain areas of the map, you can throw an item on the ground and it will fall into the void, which is a major problem for when my friends and I play because we don't like having to use admin commands to have to go through the world to attempt to get our stuff back. I've also lost one of my best dinos in a cave due to the sloppy meshing (my Bary was in the Lava cave on the Island and when I hopped off to grab the artifact and he bolted into the lava and ran through the wall to search for fish. When I tried to get him back out, the walls would not allow me to get to him and he died from the lava damage). You could possibly re-mesh certain parts of the map like how you did with the Volcano's original look when you put the glowy ring around the area where the Volcano would open up and destroy bases. You could also use this to make the game seem more realistic, instead of having one area where you're dying of Hyperthermia then 3 steps away it's Hypothermia or use it to blend certain parts of the map to look like the biome is changing. I know that the Dino TLC is definitely a minor inconvenience to the game compared to the map design, but my friends and I always look forward to seeing new dinos in-game and TLC patches for old dinos to have new purposes. I really feel like it will be a great way to reignite some people's passions to play the game with these changes.

In all honesty I really love the game being a large fan of dinosaurs myself and fully addicted to it to the point its my coffee and dessert, it has come a very long way since release but like a fine wine it has a long way to go. Keep up the hard work Devs and heres a few pointers from me, a hard going never rage quiting fan and player! The dinosaurs are what draw people to the game and the environment so thats where you ought to start off with. Better AI and accurate dinosaurs would bring the game a lot more players. You have touched on some and walked off on others. A fully feathered Utah Raptor that can jump and latch to larger prey would be awesome as well as changing the rex roar from pooping to a fear or stun would be better. The plesisaur, carno, dimorph and others need to redone. . . The megalodon is a powerful shark but has hardly any use... I could go on and on about how some need a complete revamp but AI and realisim would make it a better game... yes there are mods but they oftern get abandoned making them buggy. A lot of the dinos could get much better skins, something along the lines of the Isle would look great for a game like this. Environmental weather is awesome and beautiful and we have some a good deal of it but it can be touched up a bit more for ragnarok map. Wind storm does nothing where it can act to slow flyers down and rain storms could slow ground dinos down and a lot of effort put into meshing. Survivors from the start seemed to be ignored and very cut copy and paste no matter how you dye and tweak them which is sad due to the fact the survivor notes are in different languages. Egyptian, Japanese and western. It would have been nice to have been able to pick from these and then costomize the character having each race have differences from the next instead of cookie cutter people that are as blan and regular as cornflakes. Taking in a few mods that arent craftables would be a good start, immersive taming, zoology, wild dino babies for starters would make the game feel a little more natural and help out. Dealing with poor AI and a real feel for natural wild life is sorta a downer on it.

    Small Creatures

    I am a fan of the smaller creatures in the game. I just wish that they were a more challenging feat to overcome. In survival some smaller creatures can be the most deadly. So I would like to see some small creatures bring this type of challenge to the game. I also would appreciate a few new pet types just for fun also. Some ideas: Mosquitos - like leeches could have 2 versions,one of them that carries a disease. Also,they could be in swarms that give them + to chance of infecting. Ticks - again like leeches but also like jug bugs that can give you blood. If tamed could also be shoulder mounted. Nemicolopterus - A small pterosaur that is pretty delicate. This would bring a nice little pet to the game but because it being small and delicate would make it a challenge to get without killing it. Smaller Snakes/Scorpions/Spiders - these could involve a venom more deadly than poison just putting people to sleep. In detail the venom would have a death counter that forces you to get an antidote before death. This would make people not want to play if they were super aggressive so I would make them passive aggressive much like Bigfoot. Also allow these to be tamed or at least use the egg/nest method so players can have them. Spiders and Scorpions would be able to climb walls/trees and the spiders could maybe drop down by webbing. Yeah most of these could just be a mod but it would be nice to have official new models,animations and mechanics. Chameleon Lizards - while not the most useful in combat they could grant cloaking to the person they shoulder mount. Maybe that could be useful to cloak from things like Pegomastax and Ichthyornis for anti-theft. Perhaps even use tongue lashing for chitin and an anti bug ability. For balancing you could have each gender do a specific ability. Spitting Cobra - These could probably fit into the other spot with the spiders and scorpions but I wanted to list it apart from that because its a bit different and would have all new animations because of the cobras retractable umbrella head deal and idle coil stance. Also,these would have options for turret mode while shoulder mounted. Current creatures that should have shoulder mount options with abilities: Lystro (XP gain buff) Troodon (tranq assist and torp resistance while mounted) Jug Bug (water) Glowbug (same as other lantern pets) Trilobyte (armor buff when mounted) Bee (gathers and forages honey,sap and flowers from the wild with no shoulder mount ability)
  24. Fix the hit boxes, it's really frustrating to see the hit, hear the hit and not get the damage/effect for the hit. This should have been fixed before game release, it gives the appearance that the game is unfinished/subpar.

Hello my suggestions are as follows: 1-It would be good to add a selection option, I explain when you enter the inventory instead of having to write the name of things sometimes one wants to spend different things without having to spend all the inventory.
