Gigantopithecus (and a few other creatures) use Helmets as saddle replacements to get armor. Sadly, giving them a helmet is rarely feasible because they brake very fast and higher quality ones are expensive to repair. I think helmets should not lose durability when worn by a creature, or at least lose it much much slower.

PLS make Scorched Earth the special desert which it should be!
fera posted a suggestion in Game Suggestions
ASA has the potential to become really good, but ASA content is currently lacking. existing content from ASE and, above all, new content. FREE new content. MORE content than just 1 new dino per map! So Wildcard... PLS do the right thing and add more new stuff the map, so there is more reason to play ASA in this early stage The Map The first DLC map. The First Map we got with a very special new challenge, survival in a desert. Scorched Earth was new, was harder and quickly felt the same every time because its a sandy place which looks quite the same over the whole map. Now you have the chance to create a stunning new enviroment. ASE Scorched have different biomes, but I didnt felt this way because everything looks the same. We have the dunes. the late game sandy graveyard. The biome which Fasolasuchus will live. The dunes was nearly perfect in ASE and very outstanding from the rest of the map. Only the citie there could need a touch. We have the Canyons... which need to get way more love! in ASE they were not really noticeable and were merely a difference in height Pls make them as outstanding as they are in RL... different rock patterns, echos, falling rocks, an oppressive feeling and the feeling of being tiny... THATS Canyons. We have the Mountains.. in ASE they always felt a bit out of place. they had a completely different texture that didn't match the rest of the map at all. If we look at the rocks and mountains on Island, I think we can expect a lot more. Mountains which will fit in the world! We have Oasis... The elixir of life for all players on the map. The special ability helper for Morellatops. One if the most dangerous places on the Map But outstanding? not really. They dont have any outstanding flora there and dont feel that special as they should. they should be the place where life flourishes. where you feel relief, where you can see from afar "this is not the desert, this is LIFE" But the Flora is spreading on the whole map... plenty of trees and stuff are everywhere.. so Oasis arent anything special, beside the water... We have the low and high desert.. which both arent really deserts.. there are plenty of green trees, bushes and even flowers. More bushland than desert. Thats kind of okay, cause I know there are deserts which looks like this... But survival is pretty easy than and it feels to much green flora for a desert map. There are some unique places.. a masive skelleton, sharp rock formations and the high desert even has two forests! An arid place with dead trees, dry bushes and plenty of sand, rocks and death would feel much nicer. and its something new! Instead of 80% green places there culd be more smaller oasis with green trees and stuff. A place where its hard to survive even without the different storms! We have the Badlands.. the place where the big bois live. where danger is right behind you.. The rock formations are a amazing idea and they are some of the few outstanding things on the map... A more special look of those formations would be awesome.. like the picture below And the last biome.. the Caves... this caves are AMAZING. For me the most beautiful caves on all maps!.. the fallen cities, the egyptian-inspired things.. lovely! Add more of this pls!!! More buildable caves with things like this. Buildable like Fjodur buildable, so we can place stuff inside this buildings without having our own foundations ❤️ these things would mean that the map would differ significantly from the ASE varante, the different biomes would stand out much more and the map would not become monotonous so quickly. The Weather I love the SE weather.. heatwaves, sandstorms... i wish they were more deadly and that there were more ways to avoid them in the lategame The Items we got some amazing new items to survive there... The Tent, to wait until sandstorms or heatwaves are over. A water well, the boomerang or the wind turbine.. But we have plenty of items, which we dont really need and should be in the basegame, instead of being map specific engrams.. a mirror, a chainsaw (should be a lategame method to harvest wood) .. Instead of this more map specific stuff would be great.. amored desert cloths for late game for example. The Dinos something i already found sad in ASE was that 90% of the time we only have the normal ark dinos on the maps... and of course the dlc creatures themselves. one idea for the paid DLC would have been to give these normal ark dinos a replacement. Similar to the ARCaeology skins for pachy, bronto and trike... just not skins, but creature replacements. Instead of an Anky, for example, a Tarchia. Instead of a Sabertooth a Smilodon. The abilities remain the same, but you just have something different on the maps and not always the same creatures. This as free content would be also great.. and its a fast way to give players something new and a different look Ankylosaurus - Tarchia Argentavis - Haast Eagle Hyaenodon - Dinocrocuta (could be a larger ridable verson) Megatherium -Nothrotheriops Direwolf - a desert version Rex - Tarborex Sabertooth - Cave Lion Doedi - Panochthus And so on And you could give the unique SE creatures a little touch up and TLC to their abilities. Jerboa - Could dig for meat, seeds, other consumeables like insects or even ressources. Would help beginners to dont starve so quickly. - Could sniff for water and mark water springs or oasis on the map.. or yould dig water out if the sand (like you do in Atlas) so you can get a little bit of water.. around 10 perhaps. - Could have burrows there player could find their younsters to tame, berries and other ressources like thatch, fiber or wood. together with a more arid enviroment this would help a lot without being useless or OP Vulture Pls make the inventory accessable like every other creatures and whistable to attack targets! - Could spoil meet faster, which would be a great addition for early and mid game. - could have a dead tree as a spawn (like the confuciosornis mod in ASE) where the whole gang chill and looking for food... and having their nests there - could have a corpes as a spawn with a cicle fly animation... could work as a way to get spoiled meat faster.. like the dead creatures at ragnarok beaches. making the vulture more useful against players and creatures and a faster(easier way to get spoiled meat and even to gather eggs faster. Jug Bugs they alrady useful for water, but you could make them way more interessting - make them tameable, give them different colour regions. - could passivly produke water or oil and could be "mliked" every now and then. - could come in diffeente sizes. bigger ones holds more water/oil.. smaller ones could be shoulder mounts Lymanria I never got why I should tame one in PvE.. they cant grab anything, they arent that fast and they cant fight... - could passivly generate "moth dust" in its inventory or players could geather it from tamed ones.. works as silk. - needs to have the ability to gather its foodsource! - could have thermo vision like snow owl - could be a passive air fresher... tell it to flap wings (cant move and attack than) and making the air around it a little bit colder.. could be helpful to incubate eggs. Morellatops its a quite nice mount for beginners until lategame. - could irrigate crops - should be immune to sandstorms as a desert creature Mantis - breedable - should be able to jump normaly - should have weight reduction on certain ressources cause its a havrester mount Thorny Dragons - spines from the spine attack should scale with meele and should have a crosshair to aim - should get less dmg at from everything attacking its armored back. Bleeding attack should cause no bleed than. - some ability to curl up like a doedi to get more ressistance against attacks or become invisible (dont draw any aggro) from wild aggressive dinos Deathworms Should be DEATH. But was weak "have to kill it for trophys" creatures in ASE. - WAY stronger - could have babies or different sizes.. babies are aggressiv too, could grab unmounted player under the sand and "drown" them. - Bigger sizes could to this with matching dinos too. - could be attracted with explosives and other loud sounds like war drums... or steps from larger dinos like gigas and carchas. - could drop bio toxin as there are no jellyfishs on the map Rock Elemental - should have weight reduction on certain ressources as they harvest from rocks and stuff - should get FULL dmg from doedis.. of course - could have a special C attack to harvest stones, crystals and stuff like this - should be immun to all elemental effects BESIDE fire and water.. could change between varaints in the future - But should take NORMAL Dmg from wyver breaths as the lore says. - should have no Oxygen stat. Phoenix - should be much stronger, as its very hard to tame and whould worth it. - give it the ability to land!! - weight reduction for certain ressources as it can harvest much of those things. - more accurate aiming for attacks - heater for eggs to incubate Just ideas of course Would make some of this creature more worth it to tame at least in PvE or in general. and provides some new things for players. I really hope this map which all its items and creatures will get the love it deserves and which ASA needs to show people, that its worth to buy it- 3 replies

Since Dire Bears are omnivores, they can't eat Veggie Cakes. I (and many others from what I've seen) think they should be able to use Bee Honey as Veggie Cakes (and/or get some other buffs ). As honey collectors, they should also extend the spoil timer more than normal creature inventories, increase Honeys stack size in their inventory or something similar. That way they should become decent boss fighters

It would be very exciting if there was a new TLC for some dinosaurs that are forgotten or have no function. Now with the arrival of ASA would be the perfect time for this. Dinos that need some TLC would be: - Araneo; - Pulmonoscorpius; - Purlovia; - Carbonemis; - Chalicotherium; - Diplodocus; - Dunkleosteus; These are interesting dinosaurs with potential for a role in the game. Here are some ideas (most ideas are from the Krakens Better Dinos mod) for each of them: -Araneo: All spiders climb walls, why not the ASA ones? The new ability would be the same as megalania, climbing any surface. A really useful ability would be for spiders to be able to trap creatures in their webs. Tapping with the right mouse button would be the same thing as now, it shoots the web and slows down. The new ability would be that when holding the right button, he would carry a ball of web that, if hit, would trap small and medium-sized creatures, including survivors. - Pulmonoscorpius Imagine a mini Karkinos with knockout venom. For scorpions there are countless ideas I've seen in the community, but this one would be really good. Pulmonoscorpius's claws would function similarly to Karkinos's, each being capable of carrying a small creature or human. As for the knockout idea, the claw and tail attacks would have to be separate and only the tail attack would generate torpor. - Carbonemis To make Carbonemys more useful in the game, the first thing to do is make it immune to Electrophorus and Cnidaria shock. Make its a Bio Toxin farmer. And adding an HP regeneration buff in area, it wouldn't be a healing, but an HP regeneration. - Chalicotherium Forgotten and abandoned, the chalico has a lot of potential, it just needs a few adjustments. The first change is to add a variation to his ammunition, in addition to stones, he could shoot feces like savages do. The feces would apply damage, slow and stamina debuff. The thrown rocks would ignore armor and damage stone and metal structures. And to top it off, add a tower mode like Velona and Parasaur. - Diplodocus The most useless of all, not even prime meat he drops. As the initial premise of this dinosaur was to be a bus, but it failed miserably, the idea is to change its function. Being a sauropod that does no damage and is fast is interesting, but to make it useful in the game today, we need to modify and add a few things. He needs some sort of defense besides his speed. A stun applied with the tail whip would be excellent; A weight loader function. To achieve this, it would have reduced the weight of several resources and reduced the weight of all structures, saddles, weapons and armor in the game; And obviously he can collect some things like berries, fibers, wood and thatch; - Dunkleosteus For Dunk, an interesting ability would be like Rhino's. When swimming it gains speed, reaching a certain limit and when colliding with a creature it would cause damage, stun and apply torpor. This skill's daze and damage would increase with Dunk's health. This ability would also cause damage to stone and metal structures and greatly reduced damage to Tek structures. There are several other creatures that need a function or improvements, such as: Megaloceros, Oviraptor, Plesiosaur, Purlovia, Lymantria, Phiomia, Pachyrinhosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Onyc, Mosasaurus, Bronto. With the arrival of ASA I am hopeful about news and changes.

Dynamic Environment Effects Attaching to You/Dinos (Moss, Mud, Snow, Ash, Sand)
Kaho posted a suggestion in Game Suggestions
Granting that buildings now in ARK Survival Ascended has a Snowy Effect when building at the Snowy Biome, I'm thinking why not also apply it on humans and creatures (can be optionally turned on & off in the settings). It may look simple but the visual cue of the environment aside from the ambience can further add to the immersion. Dynamic Environmental Effects such as Mud, Moss, Snow, Rain, Ash, Sand, Radiation, Corruption, Poison Please look at the examples below:- 1 reply

READ THIS TEXT BEFORE YOU JUDGE MY IDEA I'm currently learning English so if you find any type of grammatical error please let me know. Also, I did my best to draw the concept art, but still, in my opinion, it is very bad. But, you can't judge any type of submission by design, but with their mechanics and Gimmicks (at least in my opinion). Of course it helps to give the viewer a picture of the creature itself so it is very important piece of the submission, that's why I did that "master piece". ------------------------‐---‐-------------- Hi! This is my first time submiting a creature concept, so I hope that you like it! ------------------------‐---‐-------------- Dossier Information Commun name: Edmontosaurus Species: Edmontosaurus incuruptus Time: Late Cretacic Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Aggresive Wild "I covered a very good chunk of the Wastelands, but I didn't see one single time that this massive creatures weren't alongside some type of corrupted creature, and sometimes, various types of them. They weren't attacking or intimidating each other. I think that they have a symbiotic relationship, like Carnotaurus and Yutyranus have." "Even though it is obviously a herbivore, doe to its herbivore like atonomy, I didn't saw a single speciemen feeding of berries or plants or even drinking water. This obviously happens because of the lack of food and water that the Wastelands have to offer." Domesticated "When domesticated, this creatures have two main uses: battling basicly any type of living being and gathering and storing important corrupted resources, and it does those things fantastically. If any survivor as at least one of them, they are prepared to face of basicly every single threat that they come up with, specially Element involved threats, like corrupted animals, doe to its roar that somehow only intimidates the heartless creatures." ------------------------‐---‐-------------- How do they communicate with the Corrupted Creatures? In the first few days of their life as an adult, they don't know how to make any type of contact with the brainless creatures, some weak and/or curious Edmontosaurus even dye trying, but the most patient ones listen to their calls and cries of the corrupted animal, and then they mysteriously associatte their noises to cries and roars to what they mean. When they learned how to communicate, the Edmontosaurus slowly approuch the corrupted creatures's packs. While doing so, they start to move their nostrils, to emit copies of noises of the bloodthirsty monsters. The creatures quickly realise that they want to be part of the group, and normaly they let them enter. How do the Edmontosaurus react with Element? Their skin absorbs Element when this substance touches it, so Tek weaponry doesn't affect this creature at all. When absorbed, it is stored in its sail. When their sail Element reservoir space is almost depleting, the Edmontosaurus start to freneticly rub its sail. While doing that, the Element starts to liquidate. After that, it regurgitates it. This Element like substance can be used as a normal Element. The regurgitation process isn't dangerous because of its special enzyme that it produces alongside of its saliva that makes the Edmontosaurus insides invulnerable to the Element effects. How do the Edmontosaurus find food and water in the Wasteland Zone? They don't. When Edmontosaurus are born, the yolk of their egg is so big, that it has nutrients for mouths before it straves to death. This creature doesn't need to live long though, since the most important actions that they need to do in its life is to grow to adulthood and then breed. But when domesticated, this cycle breaks, doe to having acess to food. ------------------------‐---‐-------------- In- Game Overall Description Size (largest specimen) Height: 3 metres or 9 ft Length: 15 metres/49 ft Weigth: 4 metric tons/4.4 short tons Taming Method: Knock-Out Torpor Drop Rate: Average Most of the creatures defend themselfs from the corrupted creatures, and some sucumb from the Element itself, while Edmontosaurus takes advantage of this alien plague. The heartless, bloodthirsty and territorial nature of this creature makes it one of the brutest creature in the Wasteland Zone, feared from almost every animal that steps on its territory. They are so aggressive that they don't even tolerate other Edmontosaurus, but, surprisingly, it helps corrupted creatures when they are hunting and in exchange they will give it protection, even though that it is more than capable of defending themselfs. When a Edmontosaurus is tamed, it stops being friendly to the corrupted creatures, and vice-versa, but still, it can communicate with them. The survivor can use that in its favour. Intimidating the corrupted bodies for a few seconds and then encourage its own creatures to deal with the mighty infected souls. And even out of the corrupted battleground, it's a force to be wrecken with. ------------------------‐---‐-------------- Abilities and Saddle Headbutt- Headbuts the foes that are in its front. Doesn't have any secondary effect. Barely affects its stamina. 0.5 second cooldown. Tail Slam- Slams it's tail in the foes that are in its back. Stuns the foe for 0.5 seconds. Drains some of its stamina. 1.5 second cooldown. Stomp- Stomps its foes with their higth limbs, dealing great damage and decreasing the attacked creature's movement speed significantly. It can also inflict little damage to Metal Structures. Drains a significant amount of stamina. 2 second cooldown. Roar- This roar not only makes the surrounding corrupted creatures attack and speed decreased, but it also gives their companions and itself a damage and speed buff while attacking a corrupted creature. The roar's effects lasts for 10 seconds. Drains a significant amount of stamina. 1 second cooldown. The roar effects can't be stacked. Double Element Jet (Saddle Exclusive)- If attacked by a Tek/Element 10 times or after giving it 5 Element to feed, it will be able to activate a Double Element Jet, that can be activated whenever the player pleases, but if used, it needs to do be attacked or feed again. 15 seconds cooldown. Harvests Corrupted Nodule, Corrupt Heart, Element, Element Dust, Element Ore, Element Shard, Fungal Wood, Wood Thatch and Fiber pretty well Corrupted Nodule, Corrupt Heart, Element, Element Dust, Element Ore, Element Shard and Fungal Wood suffer a 50% weigth reduction when they are in its inventory. Corrupt Nodule spoils 2x times slower than being in another creature's inventory. When it's corpse is harvested, it gives Meat, Prime Meat, Hide and when killed it drops an exclusive item, Edmontosaurus Crest. If this item is in the players last slot, wild Edmontosaurus agro range is decreased drasticly. Immune to any Tek/Element related damage If attacked by a Tek/Element 10 times or after giving it 5 Element in theire inventory, it starts to rub its sail in the ground, making it vulnerable to attacks, being impossible to mount and attack. After that, it runs another animation of it regurgitating a Element like substance that can be colected, working as a normal Element. If it has a saddle equiped , it doesn't rub itself in the ground. ------------------------‐---‐-------------- Stats Health- Slightly bigger than the T.Rex's Stamina- A half bigger than the T.Rex's Oxygen- Similar to the Rex's Food- Similar to Rex's Weight- Similar to the Paracetherium's Melee Damage- Slightly smaller than the T.Rex's Movement Speed- Slightly smaller than the Hydration boosted Spinosaur ------------------------‐---‐-------------- Thank you for reading my concept. If you have any idea to make this concept better please let me know. ------------------------‐---‐------------- ------------------------------------------ If you want to know more about the fantastic extinct animal that I inspired for the creature that I created ( I just changed its cientific name and added some interesting characteristics), I have a link for a Wikipedia site rigth here: https://pt.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edmontosaurus ------------------------‐---‐----------‐---

There is already a post so check it here: Diprotodon was a genus of australian marsupials that went extinct around 46.000 years ago. They had a lifestyle like the actual wombats. In Ark, they have adapted to the wild and savage Aberration's conditions from the top (the surface) to the bottom (the deepest caves). They are a medium-late tame especially useful in every area, but they are sleepy too. DOSSIER WILD Diprotodon is a genus that contains 4 sub species that you can find on the fertile zone of Aberration's cave system. They look very peaceful and calm until you bother them while they take a nap. Diprotodon´s heavy weight helps them to carry up to two medium creatures such as ravagers, raptors... that can be released in the middle of a combat, or maintained on the saddle so they can use their abilities such as parasaur's roar. While they wander on the plains, they will randomly dig a small hole in the ground where you can find valuable items, with the help of an already tamed one, so it is a good idea to keep some wild specimens. DOMESTICATED To tame one of these gentle beasts you must play with them. They love to hide items underground and you will have to find them so your friendship will improve. Apparently, the Diprotodon sub-species only differ on their fur pattern, but they have plenty of different abilities. By now I have named them as: D.ven. they can unearth the hidden items underground and they can even track dinos or resources smelling their scent; D.gra. they have the ability to trample the ground breaking rocks, trees and bushes, and even stunning dinos; D.hyd. they can throw different items that are a good help for the combat, they have developed a fierce bite to face Aberration's biggest predators; and lastly, D.odo. (or also called as the hairy diprotodons), they have evolved their fur structure and now they can retain scents and other properties on their fur, with this skill they can survive on the wildest environments such as the burning surface, or even the radiated depths. Diprotodons spawn on the fertile green zone on small groups from 3 to 5 adult specimens and 1 or 2 babies, they wander and dig some holes on the ground hiding different objects like resources, weapons, tools... They like to sleep and are always calm, but if you approach too much while they are taking a nap or if you attack them, they will show their fierce side. It is a good idea to keep a small group on a medium enclosure wandering so you get free items similar to Gacha, but it is not that simple, you will need help from already tamed diprotodons (I will that explain later). The taming process is a bit complex (at first time), but it is fun too. you will have to find a baby alone, if the adults near see you they will attack you so you may have to kill them or take away the baby which is simpler. The babies are very curious and will follow you if you have honey or rare flower on the last spot of the tool bar (like Ferox do with element). To start the tame, you must give them one of the two items, then you will have to give them special ones such as crops, gems, pearls, sap... If the item is common the tame will increase only a bit, but if it´s a rare one such as black pearls, the tame will advance faster. Once you give them the item, they will knock you they will start digging a random number of holes from 4-8 (only for the first time); then after you wake up you will have to find the item hidden on one of the holes, if you don't, they will hit you and the taming effectiveness will decrease, you only have two opportunities for item and 3 opportunities to fail in each tame. This process would be easier with the help of a sniffer diprotodon that is able to smell if there is an item in the hole. Once tamed, you will have to care for the babies and feed them until they grow. But fortunately, if you have a female Diprotodon tamed, you will have Diprotodon milk (generated only on the female's inventory but slow because it is a useful item) this item helps them grow faster but they gain a buff so you cannot feed them milk all the time, just after a period of some minutes. As the dossier says, there are four distinct species, each one with their own pattern. All of them have some abilities in common: -High health and oxygen (while being in the water the player doesn´t lose oxygen because their fur retains bubbles of air underwater, so it is helpful for harvesting underwater resources). -They are immune to earthquakes because of their heavy weight (this means that the screen won´t move while there is an earthquake). -They can be mounted with or without saddle. The saddle is unlocked at a medium level and has two baskets to carry two small or medium dinos (from Dodos to Parasaurs). With another key (a different "attack") the dinos of the baskets are released and they attack if they are neutral/aggressive. -The main attack is a hit with one of their front legs, that deals damage on area. -They have fatigue level too (that could be a new stat for them) if this stat runs out, they will start to sleep, no matter where they are. This stat decreases using their species unique abilities. The milk can be used to for increasing this stat, so they do not fall sleep. The 4 fur patterns are: plain (sniffer), spotted (tank), stripped (hairy) and dotted (attacker). Their hair glows in the dark of the bio-luminescent region (with cyan, lilac, violet and blue tones) and the molten region (with pink, purple and red tones). The four sub-species have different abilities and a higher stat compared to the other ones: D.venatodix-plain/sniffer: -Higher stat: speed. -Sniff (new attack): can be used to check if there is an item on a hole; or to track dinos (you must sniff the death body of that dino species) or resources (you have to sniff the resource thrown on the ground). Then some marks like Parasaur's enemies will show you where the nearest dinos or resources of that kind are. D.gravirrus-spotted/tank: -Higher stat: weight. -Stomp (new attack): to stun dinos, break bushes, trees or rocks with their back legs. -While wandering they can pick up items from the ground such as earthquakes' items. D.odoriferum-stripped/hairy: -Higher stat: stamina. -They can cover their fur with different objects this ability consumes one item of the inventory every certain short interval of time and to start this ability there is a small bar of items on the left of the screen similar to Mek's gasoline level for choosing the item): sap (surface's sun protector), gas ball (immunity to radiation), rare flowers (the Diprotodon is followed by other Diprotodons and herbivore dinos), gems (increase defense) or insect repellent. -They can cover their fur with the scent of an object (you have to make them consume the item and they gain a buff for some seconds/minutes): nameless venom (the Diprotodon is ignored by nameless), reaper pheromone (reaper queens follow the Diprotodon so they can be trapped) and angler gel (the Diprotodon glows like small shoulder dinos like Shinehorn). D.hydrimicus-dotted/attacker: -Higher stat: damage. -They have a throwing attack that leaves an area on the ground. They can throw honey (slow down), gas balls (increases torpor) or oil (to burn it). This Diprotodon can stay on turret mode such as Velonasaur and consumes items from its inventory (like the sniffer, it has a bar to select the projectile). -They have a bite attack too. A well-planned Diprotodon formation won´t stop you exploration around the Aberration’s caves and surface. For example, to dive in radiation zones, a hairy Diprotodon will give the nearest creatures immunity to radiation. If your plan is to steal some Rockdrake’s eggs, some attacker Diprotodons as companions will help you to get rid of the beasts. You could even count on a tank to receive all the damage and a sniffer to find the eggs more easily. And this is not considering the dinos carried by them on their saddle. As you can see, each species has its own range of abilities, but combined with a good strategy they can face all the aberrant dangers that await them in this savage world. They are incredibly strong and adapted to every environment, but they have a weakness (already explained before), their sleepiness, that could lead to a failed battle. They may fall sleep on half of a combat, and their fatigue level cannot be increased by level points, so you must be conscious about that. DISCLAIMERS -I am not a professional artist I have tried my best on the dossier and the artworks. I would appreciate any advice for the next drawings. -All the drawings are mine except the dossier icons and templates. -The species names are not real; these names have been created by me combining Latin words related to their own abilities. The original species is Diprotodon optatum. -I know these are too many abilities for one creature but I think the game needs a multitasking ground creature. Any of these abilities can be modified and I would appreciate every advice or idea for the concept. -English is not my first language so please if there are any mistakes let me know on the comments. I am sorry in advance for any mistakes. My objective is to add different and unknown creatures to the game so they can be seen by new people that may discover their amazing potential. Of course, the extinct Diprotodon did not have these abilities, but they were amazing as all the creatures of our planet. I think Ark needs to deepen about australian extinct fauna (and Cenozoic megafauna too), Diprotodon is the third marsupial on the game and a new way to appreciate Australia's unusual fauna. Thank you so much for your attention. Only your view and reading of my post is especially important to me and I appreciate it. I hope you like my Diprotodon concept!! Thanks again.

Raphidioptera : AKA “The prehistoric Snakefly” (New Dino Idea :)
Diltzy posted a suggestion in Game Suggestions Archive
An adult snakefly resembles a lacewing in appearance but has a notably elongated thoraxwhich, together with the mobile head, gives the group their common name. The body is long and slender and the two pairs of long, membranous wings are prominently veined. Females have a large and sturdy ovipositorwhich is used to deposit eggs in some concealed location. They are holometabolousinsects with a four-stage life cycle consisting of eggs, larvae, pupae and adults. (Scaled up in Size to be as tall as two large survivors) Main Uses - - it may be broad or taper at the back, but is very mobile, allowing for it to carry your survivor at high speeds through the air nimbly! -The mouthparts are strong and relatively unspecialised, being modified for biting giving it the ability to pick up fellow tribe members, enemies and small to medium sized dinosaurs in its mandibles. -It has a large pair of compound eyes on the sides of its head giving it incredible vision in all harsh weather conditions & at night & a tracking ability you can use to track dinosaurs similar to a snow owls that allows you to search for a specific creature (i.e Only rexes will show up in night vision when selected) that can be turned on and whenever you have its preferred food in its inventory. The females typically have a long ovipositor, which they use to deposit their eggs into crevices or under bark, this is where the taming comes in to play! The eggs will have to be found in a nest similar to a wyvern or magmasaur and taking one will cause a swarm of Raphidioptera to aggro you but be careful because the females have a venom they can spit that will dismount you and slow you down if hit by it!-
